  1. Junkyard ebon hawk

Its my first mod and Its a beat up old junker version of Ebon Hawk in kotor1, the idea being with all its history and shady owners its had more than a few patch ups and bears a few scars etc. The skin did its own thing with switching stuff around . It seems to work fine with the files placed in the override folder.

  2. Vibrating Saber Colors

This just a quick mod I whipped up to redo the vanilla saber colors.

I re-made the saber textures from scratch, implemented the animated texture and added grain to the texture. As a result, the lightsaber blades will appear to have a slight vibration to them, which gives off a better and more lively glow.

All the textures are included, (even for Kotor 2), so just drag and drop into override.

I tried to upload a gif as the screenshot, but I may have to link a youtube video instead if the animation doesn't work.

  3. Loadscreens in Color

A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION

    Loadscreens in Color

    By Sithspecter

    Description:

Knights of the Old Republic is a fantastic game. There isn't a whole lot that can be improved on. However, one area of the game that could, quite literally, use some more color is the loading screens.

This mod replaces all the default black and white loading screens with loading screens that are in color. Each of the loading screens has been reproduced shot for shot, with a few exceptions where the angle was not possible or didn't showcase the area very well. Extra care was taken to produce a look very similar to the original, but in color. The result, in my opinion, really freshens the game and invokes the feel of the area being traveled to.

    Installation:

Installation of Loadscreens in Color is extremely easy. Drop all the files in the "Override" folder in this archive into your Knights of the Old Republic Override folder.

The new loading screens will automatically appear, you will not have to start a new game!

    INCOMPATIBILITY:

IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER MOD THAT ALTERS THE LOADING SCREENS, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE OR THE OTHER. INSTALLING THESE FILES WILL OVERWRITE OTHER LOADING SCREEN MODS.

    Bugs:

    None known.

    Credits:

Credit goes to Kexikus for High Quality Skyboxes, which were installed when I took the screenshots.

  4. Improved Korriban Tomb Loot

A Knights of the Old Republic Modification

    Revanator
Contact: ethan.wookie@gmail.com OR on the DeadlyStream forums

    Description:
This mod aims to generally improve the power and abilities of the specific loot found on Korriban.
Below is a list of items affected:

    Silver-Lined Sword
    Ajunta Pall's Blade
Vibrosword (the one found in Pall's tomb)
    Naga Sadow's Poison Blade
    Tulak Hord's Mask
    Marka Ragnos' Gauntlets

Appropriate items were made upgradeable (Marka's Gunatlets and Tulak's Mask aren't
as classes of items normally aren't).

I tried to keep these items balanced, while still making them powerful. These are all probably the most
powerful items in the game in their class, for certain applications. Certain classes of PCs or certain
play styles may not find use for the items as much. I also removed the Force alignment restrictions
    for all the items listed.

    Installation:
Copy all .uti files into your override folder.

    Uninstallation:
    Delete said files from override.

    Compatibilty:
Compaitible with anything that doesn't edit the Korriban tomb loot.

    Bugs:
    None known.

  5. Red Lightsaber Crystal Fix

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic

    Release Date: 12.09.2016

    Installation:
Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder

    Uninstallation:
Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder

    Description:
When searching through the K1 textures I found an unused familiar red lightsaber texture that after playing a bit of TSL I soon realised it was the red lightsaber crystal icon
that is used in TSL. So after looking at the red lightsaber crystal K1 uses I soon discovered it was a power crystal icon and not the intended red lightsaber crystal icon so what this mod does is fix/restore
the previously unused red lightsaber crystal icon into K1.

Note: I also found unused crystal textures in K1 that appear in TSL though those mods will be coming soom

  6. Upgradable Sith Lightsaber

    ==========================================
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION
    ==========================================

    TITLE: Upgradable Sith Lightsaber
    VERSION: 1.0

    AUTHOR: GhostlyBreadbin

DESCRIPTION: This is a simple little mod which allows you to upgrade the Sith Lightsaber you find in the Tomb of Naga Sadow on Korriban. It allows you to use each and every blade colour and power crystal that is available in the game.

Admittedly, it is little more than a set of UTI edits and some 2DA tinkering to make the upgrade side of things work, but it makes for a more immersive experience when you can change the blade colour without having the description of the item itself change, if that makes sense. Not all Sith use the same colour lightsaber, right?

The lightsaber itself can still be found in Naga Sadow's tomb as always, with the red crystal pre-installed. The other colour crystals are inside the statue as well, but you'll have to hunt down all the different power crystals yourself!

I may well release a 2.0 version of this mod featuring a new hilt model later on, but i've only just started learning 3D and am not yet sufficiently skilled to create anything worth releasing publically.

INSTALLATION: Run the included installer and the TSL Patcher will install the mod automatically.

THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.

  7. High Quality Blasters

A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION

    High Quality Blasters

    By Sithspecter

    Description:

When Knights of the Old Republic won Game of the Year in 2004, none of the awards were for the blaster models. While the storyline and gameplay are top notch, the default weapons are sadly lacking in quality. Extremely low polygon models combined with 64 px by 64 px textures make them horrendous to look at. On my last playthrough of KotOR, I had enough of the ugly blasters. Who wants to pay thousands of credits for a terrible looking grey-ish blob that's supposed to be a top notch firearm? Nobody, that's who! So I sought out to fix this problem and provide high quality models and textures.

This mod completely replaces the existing blasters with newly modeled firearms, complete with high quality textures. Special care was taken to retain the form and look of the original items, but in a high quality package. Each weapon was carefully textured based on close examination of its default counterpart. It's a much improved package that I hope will be a permanent addition to your KotOR override folder for years to come.

    Use:

Use of High Quality Blasters is extremely easy. Put all the files in your Override folder, then play the game. That's it!

The new models will automatically appear when you load up your last save.

However, this mod does make a couple .uti changes to avoid doubling up on weapon textures. I've applied a new model and texture to a few items that share a model and texture in the default game. The following items are affected:

    Baragwin Assault Gun
    Baragwin Disruptor-X Weapon
    Baragwin Heavy Repeating Blaster
    Baragwin Ion-X Weapon
    Carth's Blaster
    Genoharadan Blaster

What this means is that if you already have one of these items, it will still show up as high quality, but it will share a texture with another high quality item. If you re-acquire one of these through cheats or KSE, it will appear properly. If you start a new game, everything will appear properly. This will not negatively affect the gameplay in anyway.

A note about the Sith Sniper Rifle:

I discovered that the Sith Sniper Rifle is widely used as a blaster wielded by Sith Troopers. It looks somewhat comical used by them (predominantly fired from the hip). So, I have included something of a patch that allows the Sith Troopers to use a regular looking version of it with the new texture. The Sniper version can be found at Kebla Yurt's store in the Upper City North of Taris and in a container in the Sith Academy on Korriban. If you want to cheat more Sith Sniper Rifles that look like a sniper, use the following code:

    giveitem g_w_blstrrfl006

    Installation:

    1. Run "High Quality Blasters Installer.exe" in the zip file.
    2. Follow the on screen instructions, and point the Installer to your game folder (not Override folder)
    3. Profit

    Version 1.1:

If you have installed High Quality Blasters previously, you can install this version over it and it will still be fine. However, if you want to fix the bug of the blaster randomly appearing under the Ebon Hawk on Tatooine, you must remove the following files (make sure of exact filenames):
    w_ionrfl_004.mdl (NOT w_ionrfl_04.mdl) w_ionrfl_004.mdx (NOT w_ionrfl_04.mdx)

    INCOMPATIBILITY:

IF YOU HAVE TOASTY FRESH'S TOTAL WEAPON OVERHAUL OR FALLEN GUARDIAN'S WEAPON MODEL OVERHAUL TEXTURE REWORK, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO INSTALL THIS MOD OVER THOSE MODS WITHOUT AN ISSUE.

HOWEVER: DO NOT INSTALL TOASTY FRESH'S TOTAL WEAPON OVERHAUL OR FALLEN GUARDIAN'S WEAPON MODEL OVERHAUL TEXTURE REWORK OVER THIS MOD. IT WILL LIKELY CAUSE THE TEXTURES TO BE WRONG.

    Bugs:

Due to differences between the body models (especially female), the weapons will sometimes appear to clip the hands especially in the female off-hand). There is nothing I can do about this without introducing more issues, it is something that happens with the default weapons, and you will have to live with it.

    Changelog:

    Version 1.1:

Fixed an issue where a blaster rifle randomly appeared under the Ebon Hawk on Tatooine.
Fixed an issue where Bith instruments were replaced by pistols.
Fixed the Assassin Droid and War Droid models to accept the high quality repeating blaster texture for their weapons.

  8. The New Face of Malak

I confess. I really like how the character Malak. And I fell in love with it after reading the comic book Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Especially touched when he sacrifices himself for the unfamiliar girl. Malak revealed as heroic, romantic, good-looking young man. We all know what happened to him and made the dark side of the sword Revan. And then Malak lost any hint of attraction. It is not right! I made an alternative texture for the dark lord. I have long thought, how to give it a more attractive appearance. And I'm very happy with what we got. For me it looks manly and attractive, even with the injury suffered.

When searching through the games textures I noticed their are Two variants of Carths head texture called "P_Carth01.tga" (His normal look) and "P_Carth02.tga" (An unused skin). I honestly have no clue if P_Carth02 is used at
all in game but in my opinion it is an unused texture for Carth that was abandoned since it makes him look older than Jolee. So what this mod does is turn Carth into this unused variant of himself.

  12. Bendak Bounty Non Dark Side Option

Anyone else out there like me, who was always annoyed that even when going after Bendak for the right reasons with a LS character, there was no way to finish the quest without getting DS points? Especially when you could go and kill Selven for the bounty without netting any? Well, be annoyed no more!

This is a small mod that gives you a second approach to the duel. Your character can either be proceeding with the attitude of will happily kill for credits, would have done the death match anyway and the bounty is just some extra cash, which will still net you DS points, or they can proceed with a more LS attitude, of knowing the government put a bounty on Bendak for a good reason, knowing he needs to be stopped, and although they're not thrilled going into an illegal death match that got him his bounty in the first place is the only way to do it, Bendak's leaving them no other choice. The latter approach will not net you LS points, as like with Selven in vanilla, I still didn't think going for a kill for a bounty was quite LS point material, but that approach will not net you DS points either, allowing you to finish the quest without being forced into a DS shift. The dialogue with Bendak hasn't been changed at all, as that dialogue was always more functional than story anyway, and your character has the chance to express their attitude toward the situation in dialogue with Ajuur. The key line is the one that is the point of no return for starting the duel, the options being not ready, the original ready option expanded with a slightly more killing for credit happy attitude which will trigger a DS gain, and the new option which states there being no other choice, which will not get DS points. There is another opportunity both before the fight earlier in the dialogue and after the fight to express how your character feels about the situation.

These were more quickly thought up, spur of the moment kind of lines, so if anyone has any suggestions about specific dialogue that would sound better, or for changing Bendak's dialogue too, I'm taking them

Fully K1R compatible, afaik this dlg file was never modified, on the offchance it was, that was the version used as a base, so like always, install after K1R.

To install just shove the dlg file into Override, to uninstall just take it out again.

  13. Dark Side Consular Items

Slightly beefed up dark side equivalents of the circlet of saresh and the qel droma robe. Both of these dark side items can be found with their lightside counterparts. The new robe (Sith Lord Robe) has a slightly darker and sharper look compared to the standard dark side robes. The Sith Lord Mask simply replaces the sith mask because it dident really look great and i thought it was kind of useless.(So you can find more than one of these!)This is my first mod and i had to do this fairly quickly so don`t hate on my rookie textures to hard.

  14. K1 Bastila Romance Glitch Fix

    ======================================================
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION
    ======================================================

    AUTHOR: Darth Shan
    EMAIL: schenkhaupt@yahoo.com
NAME: K1 Bastila Romance Glitch Fix

    SPECIAL CREDITS:
    1) Master Kavar for letting me include his Bastila dialogue from "Bastila and Female PC Untold Love Story"
    2) Shem for letting me include his "Helena Bastila's Mother Clothing Fix"
    3) The "Brotherhood of Shadow" mod for pointing me to the bug which causes the Helena Shan subquest to break

    FILENAME: basty_fix_final.rar
    FILE SIZE: 206 kB
    DATE RELEASED: 01/24/2008 - final revision 31/05/2016

    DESCRIPTION:

    BASTILA GLITCH FIX PROPER
This mini-mod fixes a long-known glitch in Kotor 1 which results in obliterating the romance with Bastila Shan. I updated some files and checked the scripts for version 2. This is supposed to be the final version of this simple glitch fix.

    HELENA SHAN HOTFIX
This mod also fixes a major bug which has been introduced by another mod, the "Quest for TK102's Birthday Party". This mod MAY cause Helena Shan, Bastila's mother to never appear in the whole game. If you encounter problems, just use the "Helena Shan Hotfix". Now go to the Tatooine Cantina and talk to the barkeeper. He'll tell you, Helena was a regular customer - and spawn her for you to talk to.
[Alternatively, there is a more elegant solution: Download and install the excellent mod "Brotherhood of Shadows" AND the Patch 1.06 (essential) on top of TK102-Quest. Then use the files from the Resource folder of this mod.]

    INSTALLATION:
    There are three folders here.

    1) Drag and drop the files from the OVERRIDE folder into your game directory's Override folder. This is the glitch fix. Now, you're basically done.

    2) If you encounter problems meeting Helan Shan in the Cantina on Tatooine, after the quest has triggered with Bastila and Malare, you may use the "Helena Shan Hotfix". Now you are able to talk to Junix, the barkeeper, to have Helena Shan meet you ASAP.

    3) The Resources. This contains resources for modders as well as files to ensure compatibility with other mods.
    a) Master Kavar's "Female Revan Untold Love Story". If you have this mod, use the file for your own Override folder. If you use it you will encounter some issues. There are omissions from the original dialogue with Bastila, and all animations and camera angles have been completely deleted. This is due to a bug with an earlier version of the dialogue editor.
"The Brotherhood of Shadow" and "Quest for TK102's Birthday". If you have both mods, use the files from this folder. If you've got only the Brotherhood, use none. If you've got only TK102's Birthday party, then - I think - you may still use these files (the "contact" from the Brotherhood mod just won't appear, and that's it). But the latter has not been tested.
    c) Unaltered files from the game to investigate how the romance has been made up by Bioware.
    d) Documentation of the glitch fix serving as a small introduction to scripting as well.

    Enjoy.

BUGS: None encountered, yet. The common strategy for players to avoid the glitch has been not to talk to Bastila again after kissing her. This has, of course, the same effect as removing the script attached to the dialogue - i.e. it does not change anything compared to the strategy of not talking to Basty. If there are issues, just mail me.

    Changelog
    - archive folder structure cleaned up
    - proper implementation of the Helena-Shan-Hotfix
    - Helena Shan dialogue option for Junix in the Tatooine Cantina only if Malare has talked to you
    - Helena now spawns in the correct position
    - Helena may not be spawned in multiple instances
    - fix for the "Quest for tk102's birthday", interfering with the Helena Shan sidequest

    GENERAL CREDITS:
    1. JdNoA for DeNCS.

  15. Calo Nord's Headgear

    Calo Nord's Headgear - ReadMe

    Description:

Adds into the game the headgear that Calo Nord wears: the hat/goggles combo thing that to me is a very distincitve part of Calo.

    Notes:

You'll have to cheat to get this one. Use the giveitem cheat and enter "g_i_mask83" (without quotes).

    Bugs:

The headgear will clip with the hair on some models that have longer hair - sorry, really no way around this. It fits very well on the rest of the models thuogh (as you can see from the screen it looks quite stylish on Carth).

    Permissions:

You can use this in any of your mods, but please make sure to give me credit for the model!

  16. Assassin Droid's Heavy Repeater

ReadMe - Assassin Droid's Heavy Repeater

    Description:

You know the assassin droid that you meet in the Korriban tomb? You know the gun he has on his back? What this mod does is take that gun and make it a useable weapon!

    Notes:

You'll have to cheat to get the gun. Use the giveitem cheat and type "assdrogun" (without quotes) to get your gun.

The model is untouched, exactly as it is on the droid. I just touched up the skin a little to make it a bit more appealing.

    Permissions:

You can use this mod in any of your own mods, but please give me credit for getting the gun in-game.

    Enjoy!

  17. KotOR Bonus Jedi Class Items

These items were originally found in my skills rebalancing mod, an expansion of the original idea I had to give sentinels their own stealth belts when giving them stealth
as a class skill along the lines of K2 Watchman, as otherwise they wouldn't gain the stealth feats the Watchman did, plus there seems no way to give K1 characters force
camouflage, and making sentinels a viable stealth class, feats and all similar to K2, was a big part of rebalancing skills with the intention of balancing Sentinel with
the other 2 classes by doing so.

I'm uploading them separately for people who like new stuff in KotOR, but aren't fussed about rebalancing. There are 2 items for each class, the first and weaker version
given by Zhar on completion of Jedi training, the second and stronger version found on the Unknown World, in the lower level of the Temple. They are all class restricted, and
you will only get the 2 for your class in a single playthrough. Sentinels get the stealth belts, Consulars get armbands, and Guardians get power crystal boosting colour crystals,
similar to and based on HotG and MotF.

Please note, this installed on it's own means the Sentinel can still have Stealth as a cross-class skill, although the belts are still perfectly usable once
a single point is invested in stealth and will still make a Sentinel decent with stealth even as a cross-class skill, they were designed with Stealth being a class skill
in mind. To reflect this, as a purely optional.........well, option, I'm including the file that will make Sentinels have Stealth as a class skill in a separate folder,
that's all it will do, it contains no other changes from the rebalancing mod. Also, with the purpose they were designed for, they're intended to boost the sentinel by making
Stealth an effective option by granting it the bonus stealth feats from the K2 Watchman, whereas the Guardian and Consular items are purely stat boosts.

  18. Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes

Adds Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items g_a_mstrrobe47 and g_a_mstrrobe48 to your inventory.

Warning: This mod requires an environment map/cube map in order to get the shiny metal effect. In K1 it would appear that an alteration of the “envmap” column in appearance.2da is required to force this for robes (the simple addition of a TXI doesn’t work). This may have unintended effects on other model types, particularly custom textures with transparency. Additionally, the requirement of a 2DA edit means it will not work properly for custom heads without a manual edit of appearance.2da by the enduser. For those that wish to do that, change the envmap column for your custom head rows from DEFAULT to CM_Baremetal.

  19. PFHC04 Reskin

I disliked the original skin, with its ugly orange lipstick and purple eyeshadow. I've reskinned it, complete with portraits and dark side transitions. Hope you like!

Extract the files into your override folder.

    -------------------
    DESCRIPTION
    -------------------
This mod allows the player character PHMA04 in Star Wars: KotOR to have either a beard, mustache or goatee.
It also removes 'dark side' transitions for this character. I may add them in as an update but for now it will just stay the same.
I apologize, but the portraits included for this mod are a bit blurry. If it bothers you, don't copy the files with names starting with "po_"
This mod is compatible with most if not all mods for KotOR.

  21. Higher Quality Bastila

This is a fairly simple reskin of Bastila, to make her textures look a bit better quality. There are lots of great people that make amazing HD reskins of KOTOR models, but Bastila hasn't been done yet, so I figured I'd make a temporary skin for people to use until someone makes a better one. This isn't really "HD" in my opinion.

It's not perfect, at all. Maybe I'll work on it more in the future.

  22. KK's Disguise Armband

This mod adds an item to inventory which you can equip, then use (like an energy shield).

Once that's done, you navigate a dialog-driven menu (computer interface) to select a head, body, or combination and it applies disguise effects. This will work for the main PC and all the usual party member suspects (though it doesn't specifically support Trask, so he may do odd things under some circumstances).

There are 4 versions. Any of them should be compatible with everything, though if you've got mods installed that drastically change the order of appearance.2da, everything will point to the wrong things, and if you have content ADDED to appearance.2da, it won't know about that content without some alterations. (Contact me)

The 4 versions that are here now are:
KK_Dsg_Band_v1_0b_K1R_and_KK_PC.7z - Direct custom content support for K1R and my custom female PC KK_Dsg_Band_v1_0b_K1R.7z - Direct support for K1R, but not my custom PC KK_Dsg_Band_v1_0b_KK_PC.7z - Direct support for my custom PC, but not for K1R KK_Dsg_Band_v1_0b_BASE.7z - No custom content support (though it still works fine for base-game content)

Pick your version, run the installer, enjoy. The patcher will make additions to globalcat.2da, spells.2da, igearstore001.utm (Igear's shop, Taris undercity), and
tar03_selven031.utc (Selven's character template, Taris lower city apartments). It should only append to these using intelligent functions from TSL patcher, and not overwrite or break anything (plus it makes backups). Everything else is new, unique files from me, so if they conflict with anything at all, it's very very strange. (really shouldn't possibly happen).

As the above files probably suggest, you can loot one from Selven, buy another from Igear, and if two isn't enough, just use the console: "giveitem kk_i_arm_dsg.uti" (no quotes) for as many as you want.

There's a large readme.txt in the archive, and of course, any other questions, comments, concerns, yadda may be directed to me, and I'll be happy to address them. ^-^

  23. No Random Fighter Battles

Couple little re-compiled scripts after modifying the include files to just disable all *random* fighter battles (I got sick of 'em).

This won't do anything about story-related ones that are meant to happen, but you shouldn't get any more random ones when going planet to planet. Some games, I like to just kinda fly around a lot and it gets really old to have to keep dealing with this little mini-game. Especially on today's faster machines.

Anyways, drop 'em in override. If they conflict, you're already using something that modifies those scripts, so best to not break whatever you already had going on (don't copy 'em).

I don't have the source for these anymore, it was a long time ago, in a galax... er, yeah. It was a while back.

I am planning a major update on this though soon. Not sure if I can do everything I wanna do yet, but I'll find out when I get in there and start breaking fixing stuff. ^-^

  24. KK's Custom Female PC

This little mod is actually just a hex-edit of another model (we didn't have shiny tools back then) to point to my new, custom textures, with full DS transitions (though I'm still not super happy with those. Guess I don't play DS often enough to be good at them lol)

Anyways, the revised version (this one) has the colors toned down a little. I got a bit carried away with the original, or maybe the high res I can play in now just makes them stand out a lot more, but in any case, I'm happier with them now.

I also went ahead and made it all TSL Patcher happy, so the modifications it needs to make to appearance.2da, heads.2da, and portraits.2da will merely add to those files, and not break anything (thus, ensuring compatibility). Everything else is uniquely named, so this "head" will appear as an additional (16th) choice for a starting female character and not replace any "core content".

The versions of my armband gizmo with KK_PC in their name support this mod, while other versions of the band will work, but it won't know about this content.

    Anyways, enjoy. ^-^

A modified Bastila underwear model with 21 skins. This version was never released anywhere but my website - which didn't last long. Includes the previous widely distributed version 1.2. They will overwrite each other so you can't install both.
