The main purpose of this mod is to fix many of the party models that have uvw errors. Some of these errors may be too small to see in-game, but most become glaring when using some of the HD texture mods here on this site. The only HD texture that I have included here, is for Bastila Shan's head model (P_BastilaH04) which is now 2048x2048 pixels. I have tried to remain true to her original look. The models that I have fixed, and are included, are: default clothes models for Bastila Shan Canderous Ordo Carth Onasi Jolee Bindo Juhani Mission Vao HK-47's whole body model head models for Bastila and Carth HD head texture for Bastila head texture for Jolee (to fix the mustache) two additional clothes textures for Carth Each of these character's files can be used separately, so that the user has the option of mixing and matching with other mods. Many of the screenshots are animated with before/after scenes that flip every 7 seconds. There are included text files with much more detail as to what has been fixed in each. There are also a few files included that other modders can use for helping their own texture mods (some uvw maps and a few Photoshop psd files with multiple layers already separated).

  6. View File HK Stats Rework Description By default, HK-47 has 16 points in Strength, and only 10 in Constitution. This strength stat is almost completely useless, since HK is unable to wield melee weapons. So I have swapped his Constitution and Strength base stats, which should (hopefully) make him a bit more viable as a companion. ************************************** Knights of the Old Republic - The Sith Lords ************************************** TITLE: Effixian's HK Metallic Skins AUTHOR: Effix CONTACT: PM me on the forums or find me on Steam ************* INSTALLATION ************* 1. Unzip somewhere and run the file "TSLPatcher - Install TSL Effixians HK Metallic Skins.exe". This step is simply to enable the metallic shine. 2. Pick an appearance you like (See the Screenshots folder). Go into the Textures folder and into the subfolder of your liking. Copy the files in there to your override folder. The override folder is a subfolder in the game's main folder, you need to create it if you've never added a mod before. *************** STEAM VERSION *************** You can use this mod with the Steam version of the game, simply point the installer to the location of the game. If you're using the Steam version of TSLRCM (or the combo with M4-78) then you need to point the installer to its Workshop folder. This mod is not compatible with my HK-47 Steam mods if you do so, the textures in those mods don't work in combination with the metallic shine. ************ DESCRIPTION ************ This is pretty much a spin-off from my non metallic HK reskins. This mod enables a metallic shine for the HK droids. Next to that it gives various texture/portrait options to use with that change. To demonstrate different lighting conditions; the left part of the screenshots is inside the Ebon Hawk, the right side is on Dantooine, next to the Ebon Hawk. ************* HK-50 & HK-51 ************* Next to HK-47 this mod also makes HK-50 & HK-51 able to get the metallic shine. Like with HK-47, you need to do some manual work for the texture files part. You need to copy-rename-copy-paste texture files. HK-50's file should be: C_HK50.tga HK-51's file should be: C_HK51.tga So you pick a file (P_hk47_01.tga, the other one is a portrait and not needed) from the Textures folder of your choice, make a copy of it, rename it to C_HK50.tga and/or C_HK51.tga and move those file(s) to your override folder. ***** BUGS ***** None known. ************* UNINSTALLING ************* 1. Remove the following files from your override folder: P_hk47_01.tga PO_pHK47.tga 2. Optional: Removing the above files will give HK-47 back his original appearance, without metallic shine. If for some reason you also want to undo the changes that were made to appearance.2da, then you can run the Patcher from the Uninstaller folder. ******************* DISTRIBUTION NOTES ******************* You may NOT: Use the material from this mod in your own mod without giving me credit, implying it was your creation. View File HK-47 Disabled Animation Eye Fix ============================================= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLICII: THE SITH LORDS MODIFICATION ============================================= AUTHOR: Marius Fett NAME: HK-47 Disabled Animation Eye Fix Special Thanks: DarthParametric for pointing out the bug in the first place. DESCRIPTION: I must confess, I’d never noticed this before, but as soon as it was pointed out, I couldn’t unsee it and couldn’t ignore it. Basically, the vanilla HK-47 model doesn’t turn off the self-illumination for HK’s eye mesh when the disabled animation is playing, which makes absolutely no sense. This mod edits that animation and disables the self-illumination. COMPATIBILITY WITH TSLRCM: I don’t foresee any issues with compatibility. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Run the installer. Spoiler-Free Description: Nobody likes to see a group project go to waste! This mod allows you to repair your speeder once and for all upon completing the Nar Shaddaa main story, and restores some of Obsidian's original game dialogue along the way. Rather than being told that the speeder has been sabotaged beyond your ability to repair, you will be told specifically which part that you installed needs to be replaced, and given an opportunity to find it at a location made available towards the end of the Nar Shaddaa main story (for the exact location, see step #8 of the full walkthrough provided below or attached images). This mod restores original dialogue for certain party members, and the opportunity to gain/lose influence with them as you see fit. You should install TSLRCM prior to installing this mod. For an existing game, use a save file made before visiting Nar Shaddaa for the first time (this mod won't affect any areas of the game you have already been to). Full Description (Contains Spoilers): Installation: Download the 7z file and extract to somewhere on your computer that is easy to find. 7z files can be extracted with Archive Utility on macOS, or with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. For full compatibility and your own personal convenience, this mod comes with an installer which comes highly recommended. Simply run the installer, and direct it to your TSLRCM installation. For Steam installations, direct the installer to "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937", and not the main game folder with the executable. The installer is an executable file that can be run natively on Windows or with free programs like Wine on other platforms. If for whatever reason you have trouble with the installer, open the "Manual Installation" folder and follow the instructions of the ReadMe file inside. Uninstallation: Follow the instructions within the ReadMe pertaining to your installation method. Compatibility: Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they make no modifications to any airspeeder-related files or affect the new airspeeder cameras for other purposes (automatic installation) or replace the included files installed manually. Requires TSLRCM 1.8.3 or higher. Modifications (Automatic Installation): Modifications (Manual Installation): Full Walkthrough (Contains Spoilers): Acknowledgments: Big thanks to Fred Tetra for KotORTool and Cortisol for the Holocron Toolset for making file extraction, module editing, and .mod file building easy, Fair Strides for the DLG Editor, JdNoa and Dashus for simple script decompiling with DeNCS, Blue for the KotOR Script Editor, and to Stoffe and Fair Strides for easy .mod extraction with ERFEdit, and for making inter-mod compatibility infinitely more feasible with TSLPatcher. It really does take a village to make one speeder fly. Have a bug to report? Visit this mod's "Get Support" page and let me know! 12. View File Restored equipment for T3-M4 / HK-47 from TSL – KOTOR Instruction: Move all the files from the archive to the override folder. Description: This modification adds parts of the T3-M4 and HK-47 TSL droids to KOTOR. Features: 1. Separate parts of T3-M4 are adapted to the first part of the game. For the shock limb of the droid T3-M4, the nature of the damage has been changed: now it stuns the enemy, and the stunning power is one of the strongest in the game. 2. The droid's rifle is changed: now you need a class droid ability to carry it; reduced damage done by the rifle, but it can be improved. Improvements are presented in the screenshots. 3. Parts for the T3-M4 can be found in the droid shop on Taris; parts for the HK-47 are in the droid shop on Tatooine. 4. New prices for items: in order to simplify their receipt, some prices are reduced. 5. Skills needed to get parts are reduced. 6. Parts of droids are very useful for both T3-M4 and HK-47. Now one of them can use regeneration, and the other can get a powerful weapon in their hands. 7. In addition, there are no restrictions on wearing parts by a certain droid, you can give them to the second droid. 8. The number of purchases is not limited, but, as you understand, it will be expensive. 9. Other features that you can find for yourself in the screenshots. HD HK Upscale

    Version 1.0.1

    1,377 downloads

DESCRIPTION This is an HD reskin of our fierce assassin droid HK-47, as well as HK-50 and HK-51. Their textures are now each 2048x2048, each manually-upscaled and incorporating downloaded textures. I constantly checked my work against the 3D model to ensure there were no texture seams. I even added an environment map to enhance the look of the brushed metal. I made sure to remain as faithful to the original texture as possible while adding a few details of my own. If you're looking for an HD reskin for the KotOR I version of HK-47, check out "Quanons HK-47 Reskin" (https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1001-quanons-hk-47-reskin/). INSTALLATION Run TSLPatcher.exe. UNINSTALLATION Move the files from the newly created "backup" folder to the KotORII "override" folder. THANKS Thanks to GIMP, wildtextures.com, Blender, KotORTool, KotORBlender, mdlops, and the KotOR Savegame editor. Mod by tjsase. Feel free to include this mod in modpacks so long as you credit me and link back to the original download page.

This mod replaces all HK-47s textures. Just like my other party member reskins; the size has been increased to 2048x2048. Which allowed me to put in some extra details and give a decent update to the skin. There's now a more visible metal texture but otherwise; nothing major has been altered to HKs skin. I did tweak the contrast and colors but its still the same rusty killer droid. Look at the comparison picture to get a better idea INSTALL: Unpack and copy the 3 files P_HK47_01.tga and TXI, plus PO_Phk47 to your override. That simple!
  19. HK-47, especially "canon" HK (By which I mean the assassin that can make a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope), is underwhelming. Has been for a decade and a half. He's hilarious, and I love him as a companion, but he's never as deadly with a rifle as he could be. Even with his unique "Assassination Protocols" Feat in KOTOR II, he severely disappoints. You can give him twin pistols, and that helps, but then he just feels like every other ranged dual-wielder. SO. I propose that the Assassin droid (Or rather, the "Combat Droid" Character class) gets some tweaks to his class mechanics. Now, I want to preface this by saying that I know I can do all of these things with KSE. I have done this before - That's how I tested the class modifications to make sure it worked. But I want to make this organic, so that HK feels like he's supposed to be a proper assassin droid and not just a cool looking Soldier class. The Principle behind these changes is Disable-Destroy-Repeat, and revolves around giving HK the "Sneak attack" feats and the ability to stealth. His droid gadgets become more useful thanks to being able to make use of his own stuns, and the stun from master sniper shot combined with the larger crit range on rifles compared to pistols makes him feel like a proper marksma... droid. Marksdroid. There'd need to be two versions, one for KOTOR and another for KOTOR II. KOTOR -A new feat called "Integrated Cloaking" or some such - Basically a clone of Juhani's "Force Camouflage" - that lets Assassin/Combat Droids enter stealth. (Or, just give him Force camo and call it a day?) -Also make Stealth a Class Skill for Combat Droid -Combat Droid borrows Sneak Attack from the Scoundrel Class, gaining Levels naturally on level up. KOTOR II -Droid Cloaking already Exists as one of GOTO's unique feats. Give him that. -Stealth Class Skill -Precise shot, Targeting and Sneak attack awarded on Level up. So what do y'all think? Possible?

    The Companions: HK-47

    From the album: The Playthrough

An as-close-as-it-could-get reskin attempt of HK-47; based on a splendid artwork called "Hk47 Wip" by uncannyknack. I managed to edit the looks of HK-47's in-game freecam filter too, so it doesn't look all red anymore [to fit them new eyes too] and with the assumption that HK-47 had all the resources to process the almost-perfect true color; close to human eye capability. The vanilla texture I am using on this attempt is the amazing Quanon's "HK-47 Reskin". This reskinned HK-47 texture is currently used for personal playthrough only. HK-47; was a Hunter-Killer assassin droid & Jedi hunter constructed shortly after the end of the Mandalorian Wars in 3969 BBY.

  23. View File Restored equipment for HK-47 / GO-TO - TSL A new version! Instruction: Move all the files from the archive to the override folder. Description: This updated version of the modification: Restored equipment for HK-47 - TSL has been converted to Restored equipment for HK-47 / GO-TO - TSL. Old content: This modification returns the HK-47 stuff to the game. Can be found in the first droid assassin on Peragus. I put the armor on the droid assassin in the polar zone of Telos. The Narodi can be found on the Naro of the Vogga Hatt when meeting with the droid assassin. What's new: 1. Deleted unnecessary files; 2. Added the ability to get the rest of the droid GO-TO; 3. You can buy three pieces from Tienn and Kodin, as they are merchants of parts of droids (Tienn trades indirectly); 4. The cost of one of the parts was reduced from 6,000 to 4,000 credits, since it is foolish to buy two parts for the same price, the second of which is much more powerful; 5. I increased the price of individual parts for T3-M4 and 1000 credits. Characteristics of the parts of the droids are presented in the screenshots. The screenshots are not visible, but the HK rifle will fall from each of the three droids. This way, you can fully pay back one of the parts from Tienn. It depends on you only how rich you are or from personal desire. The modification does not include parts for T3-M4, since even in the game we can find all three of them: the first part is built into our droid; the second falls from the HK-50, the third part (shield) is given to us for the successful completion of the mission to buy (or if you are a dark Jedi, the threat of punishment) the droid from Kodin. Thus, on Nar Shaddaa you will become the owner of all the parts for your droids, unless of course you have missed some of them.
