Chaos Lightsaber Made by: K.O.2 Mods (aka The Frozen One on deadlystream) Version: 1.0 About this Mod: As of version 1.0, the item can only be spawned into your game. Open the console and type "giveitem g_w_dblsbr043" without quotes, then hit enter. This mod might be just a *little* bit Over-Powered for some folks, I don't know for sure though because I usually play with cheats enabled. =P This took me most of a day to figure everything out, with minimal/beginner experience modding KotOR. Trust me, if an idiot like me can do it you can definitely do it too. Extra Info: 10 years. 10, long, years I have waited for a mod just like this to appear. Back then it took me a long time to even find just one single image of a mod for KotOR that showed the double bladed lightsaber display both a red and blue color. Now, I've finished up one of my so called "Dream Mods", which are very specific mods that I wished I had years ago regardless if I or someone else made them or not. A decade of waiting for a days worth of work... worth it! How to use/activate/enable this Mod: Copy all files from the "Chaos Lightsaber Version 1.0" folder and paste them into your Override folder. Regarding the uploading of this Mod: Please don't upload this mod anywhere without my approval. If you would like to improve on it or add it to a mod collection, please contact me and I'll give you an answer as soon as possible. If I give you the okay, all I ask is for you to give me credit for the mod(s) that I've made. Drop Those Lightsabers! A Minor Immersion Mod made by K.O.2 Mods (aka The Frozen One on deadlystreams) Version: 1.0 About this Mod: When you meet the first Sith and Jedi dueling on the Endar Spire, you see them fighting with lightsabers. But when you loot them after they've met with a terrible fate, there are no lightsabers to be found. Not a single one! This has always been a minor annoyance of mine on each playthrough I've started. With this mod, both the Dark Jedi and Jedi drop their red and blue lightsabers respectively. Just loot both of their belongings in order to get both sabers. You can't wield these weapons until you are supposed to later in the game, but you can still sell them for cold hard credits if you wish. How to use/activate/enable this Mod: Just copy n_sithappren001.utc and n_sithappren002.utc from the "Drop Those Lightsabers!" folder and paste both files into your Override folder. You must start a new game in order for this mod to work. To those that helped me with this Mod: Thanks to ebmar and Mellowtron11 for their extremely detailed walkthroughs on how to make this mod. I couldn't have done this without their help. Power Staff - Made by K.O.2 Mods (aka "The Frozen One" on deadlystreams) Version: 1.0 About this Mod: The Power Staff will be located inside the FootLocker at the very beginning of the game, right next to your bed. If you'd rather spawn the modded item in your game, open the console and type "giveitem g_w_qtrstaff06" without quotes, then hit enter. This mod was created for KotOR 1 (K1) in mind only. Extra Info: This is the first mod I've made for KotOR in roughly 9 years, so please forgive me for being rusty. I aim to only improve with each mod going forward. How to use/activate/enable this Mod: Just copy every file in this folder (except the ReadMe file of course) and paste the files into your Override folder. Those that helped me with this Mod: Thanks to JCarter426 for telling me what I needed to do in order to get my custom textures to show up in game. Without his help I would've likely been stuck much longer on this. Regarding the uploading of this Mod: Please don't upload this mod anywhere without my approval. If you would like to improve on it or add it to a mod collection, please contact me for approval. If I give you the green light to do so, all I ask is for you to give me credit for the mod(s) that I've made. This mod adjusts Shaleena's unique head in KOTOR I so that the upper teeth are visible. It's intended for users of the K1 Restoration or K1 NPC Overhaul mods, both of which restore Shaleena's unique appearance. This mod itself does not restore her unique appearance. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files from "Override" to the Override folder located in your game's directory. If prompted, select replace, although you may want to back up any pre-existing duplicates beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete n_shaleenah.mdl & n_shaleenah.mdx from your game's Override folder. Compatibility & Known Issues There should be no compatibility issues for this mod. This mod won't affect Shaleena's appearance unless you have K1 Restoration or K1 NPC Overhaul installed. This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I, most notably the addition of ear geometry. Both the ear meshes and textures included in this mod are modified ports from SWTOR, which improve ear shape & texture quality. Additional improvements include better smoothing groups, non-clipping teeth & eyelids, & recolored tongues. There are two options for installation. Option A models feature "slim" necks, while Option B models retain unaltered "blubber" necks. I highly reccomend the first option as it fixes clipping with heavy armor collars, but feel free to choose the second if you prefer that look. There are no other differences between the two. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod is a nice visual improvement, & the addition of ear meshes keeps consistency with other head models in the game. There's also a KOTOR II version available here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files from either the Option A folder or Option B folder to the Override folder located in your game's directory. Then, drag files from the Textures folder to the Override folder as well. You may want to back up any pre-existing duplicates beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's Override folder. There's a list of files included in the download's readme.txt for reference. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod will not be compatible with any retextures for Twi'lek male heads. If you use (or plan on using) the K1 NPC Overhaul Mod, that mod MUST be installed prior to installing this one. If the lekku (head tails) appear much lighter in-game than what my screenshots show, that's dependent on the graphics you're using. The differences in shading are not affected by this mod. 11. Hi everyone, Recently I have been replaying K2 with Beancounters Hardcore Mod on the Insane preset with my own damage modifier (4X) and it has so far been fun and a great challenge to be had at the same time. My request, I haven't played K1 since my earliest childhood and I would like to enjoy it today but am worried about the difficulty. K1R offers an Impossible difficulty mode but this from what I have seen does not offer the brutal experience that I am seeking. Would someone be able to handle my request of importing this great mod into K1? With love and respect, ~Lukipaluki

A.M.D.G. Teta's Royal Band Restored ========================== by Darth InSidious ------------------ Description ----------- This mod restores Teta's Royal Band to the game. The object grants stealth field nullification. As such, it isn't actually of any use in the game at all, but it's still quite interesting. I've also restored the model for the item, which for some reason Bioware cut before they cut the item itself. It can be found in Woorwill's home on Kashyyyk, or cheated into your inventory by typing 'giveitem g_i_mask13', without the quotation marks. Installation ------------ Double click on "Install Teta's Royal Band Restored.exe", and then click "Install mod". Uninstallation -------------- Remove from your Override folder: g_i_mask13.uti i_mask_015.mdl i_mask_015.mdx ii_mask_015.tga If you have not installed another mod which modifies kas23ab_cont_01.utp, remove that file as well. Contact me ---------- In case of bugs, queries, feedback, or comments, I can be contacted at www.lucasforums.com , or by email at cringe909@hotmail.com. Disclaimer ---------- LucasArts and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. own all the copyrights etc. It all belongs to them. This mod, or any derivate or part thereof, may not be uploaded to any website, ftp, server, or as part of a torrent, except with the expressed permission of the author. Credits & Thanks ---------------- With thanks to: The various KotOR 1 Restoration Project teams, whose work inspired this very small mod; Andargor whose item mods first made a version of this object available; Fred Tetra, stoffe, and Edward T. Smith for KotOR Tool, TSLPatcher, and NWNNSSCOMP respectively; Holowan Labs for being the pre-eminent resource for modding information and feedback; and to Obsidian, Bioware, and LucasArts, for making both KotOR games. 15. I don't know if someone has done this already, but could someone port the blonde guy head from KOTOR 2 to KOTOR 1? or link me to an existing one? I couldn't find it if it has already been done. Thanks! EDIT: This one.
  16. Someone on the KOTOR reddit said that porting was allowed now, is that true? because I didn't hear anything about that.
  17. View File Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack Modder's Resource for: KoTOR. I DID NOT CREATE THIS. SpaceAlex did. It was intended to be both a cosmetic NPC upgrade, a loot upgrade that added new items for Knights of the Old Republic, and more. Sadly, it was never finished, but plenty of work was completed by the time the project was cancelled as these screenshots display. Since SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack was not hosted on the website, I decided to host it myself and provide an easy link to all the assets so someone can either finish it or use bits and pieces of it in their own mods. Personally, I would like the entire mod to be finished as SpaceAlex intended with the NPC Modification Pack Bonus Content, Party Member Reskins, Player Character Clothing and Head Reskins, and Miscellaneous items implemented as optional add-ons. Also, there is a fix for invisible heads for some reason, here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/417-spacealexs-k1ep-invisible-head-fix/ . Please download this too if you're using it as a mod or just using it for editing. Lastly, do not use this with K1 Restoration because it will cause cosmetic glitches such as Outcast Children looking like Mandalorians. NOTE: I just realized that I took out a few pieces of the file so it would work. I took out anything related to Darth Bandon and Calo Nord, as these additions cause game-breaking bugs. Not really a mod, more of a modding resource. Here I've gathered the 7 most useful 'lost' modules for KotOR 1 - that is, modules that had no .rim files, and were essentially just room models in the game files. Why do I say 'most useful'? There are a few more - one of which is a slice of corridor, and several bits of the Unknown World temple-top, but none of these are much different or much more useful than the already existing modules, or the ones I have packaged here. Neither are they particularly exemplary. And so, here they are. I would guess that the modules' functions would be: m19aa - the original Tatooine temple, in which you had to retrieve the information from the Star Map inside a Sarlacc's maw. m21aa - Evidently a Czerka depot, possibly on Korriban. m25ab - Part of Kashyyyk, possibly the level of the Shadowlands that was cut? m45mg - Some kind of early Tatooine swoop racing area? m47aa - ? Used for a cutscene that no longer appears in-game? PLCaa - Some kind of basic area functionality test, at a guess. MQATester - Darkkender thought this was possibly for Quality Assurance, and it would seem likely that it was either for this, or E3. A few notes ----------- -M45MG - The booster pads and obstacles were set in the .git and .lyt files, as I recall, and are copied straight from the ones in the final version of the Tatooine swoop track. I would recommend caution when editing these settings. Also, for using this area in-game, it is very much advisable to use the included .vis file. Otherwise you won't be able to see where you are going. -M19AA - Likewise on the .vis file being compulsory. -M21AA - I have heard that this can sometimes crash. If this is a problem, try removing the placeables from the .git file, and recompiling.
  20. Hi all, I've recently decided to take a crack at modding Kotor, and upgrade from texture editing to meshes. I've done quite a bit of research on the topic but most forum posts are over a decade old! I was wondering what tools people are using nowadays. I know of the Kotor Tool (amazing btw) and after extraction the files come in .mdx and .mdl formats. From what I gather, 3d information is in the .mdx, I have no idea what the .mdl has... How do I convert to .obj or some other workable format? Milkshape does not recognise KOTOR models, only World of Warcraft... I'm familiar with Maya, so I can't import directly (as far as I know). How do I export back? Does it go in the override folder? Can I even mod PC Heads or am I just wasting time? Looking forward to some replies! -Weiss
  21. I'm a long time fan of KOTOR and it's nice to see people alive that are as well. Thanks to the staff and especially the community for keeping this place alive and well-maintained. Respect. Here is my original post: Thanks in advance but I was able to fix this as well. At this point this is more of a journal than a help post. I'm just gonna drop what I think will help anyone that was in my shoes: To enable the use of more advanced mods that use TSLPatcher and to the extent I've gone, KT: To get KT working (credits to @Rece), intended for Macs but the difference is minimal. .bif files are .bzf when ported from the phone, just rename the file extensions back(tedious but whatever). Also, you may need to uninstall and reinstall KT and\or delete settings.xml located within the KT directory. You may still encounter bugs and hiccups
  22. Hey everybody. I'm relatively new to Deadly Stream, although not to KOTOR/TSL and modding the games in general, so I hope that this is in the correct forum. I recently heard somewhere that Yuthura Ban has cut dialogue that would imply that she could be recruited if Juhani was dead. Presumably, this would mean that she is still a dark jedi, although I can't say for certain. I wanted to know if anyone could fact-check this and determine A) if Yuthura was once intended to be a party member, and how much could be salvaged and restored. Are there voice overs? Lines from her as a companion or just in the process of recruiting her? A side-quest? Also, for future reference, how would I go about checking that myself? Thanks!
  23. Hi guys, what's up? My problem is, I can't see the models under KotOR 1 (in the KotOR Tool), or actually I can see that folder but it appears empty (as you can see in the lower part of the attached image). Instead I don't get any problem with KotOR 2 and I can open them normally.

  25. Guys, i was thinking now 20 minutes about this, and i'm sure that i want make with you the mod, you can submit suggestions, and i may take them, but they have to be realistic, not anything like "Revan Explodes anywhere in a Asteroid System, Because of nothing", I also need modellers for some new modules, map imager (making a minimap, idk how to call people who make that, sorry! ), Some Story Writes (They will work with me in private message) and some people, who can give me some tutorials (also in private message). I need also People who can make me the cutscenes If anyone is willing work with me on this mod, write it in the comments! My concept is, to build a mod up, which is quite easy, you start on Revan's Flagship's Bridge, and feel that Malak is trying to kill you by shoot on your bridge, how you felt it, you had a disturbance through the force, so you command your Admiral To Shoot Malak's Bridge. Then The Jedi Strike Team led by Bastila Shan is attacking you, you win, then you travel to Lehon and torture Bastila until she gives up, and being your apprentice and joins your Team. Then you have to conquer worlds, until the Republic attacks the Star Forge, where you get noticed by one of the other Admirals of another Interdictor, and you command your Navigator to Navigate to the Star Forge System, and if you defeated the Republic fleet, you have to travel to Coruscant, to finish the Republic and Jedis once and for all, you can command a Orbital Bombing on it, which would give you dark side points, or you say no, and get light side points. Also, you can Fight on the Star Forge against the Jedis if you desire to. So this is a long concept i know, it is much, because it was what i was thinking the whole time. Travelable Planets: Althir Alzoc III Balmorra Czerka 431 (Only on a Station like Yavin, to trade.) Dantooine (Orbital Bombardement Avaible) Dxun (You can try to trade and negotiate peace with the Mandalorians) (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Dromund Kaas (Maybe you want to overthrow the Sith Emperor) (Final Planet) Kashyyyk Hoth Iridonia Korriban Malachor V (No Porting) Manaan M4-78 (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Onderon (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Rodia Ryloth Sleyheron (Self-Modelling, the mod isn't done yet) Tatooine Taris (Quarantine? ) Yavin IV Now you may ask how you come on the planets, cuz landing a Interdictor is hard. Well this answer is fast Answered: by an Hearld-Class Transport (The Ones from Manaan) Party Members: Bastila (After Sucessful Torture) HK-47 (Never left ) Team Membs: SteiraGaming - Director Leader of KotOR - Malak Was Killed - Not Revan: A Fanon Story Mod. If you want, you can be part of this, you just have to write what job you want have, and that you join in the comments (I also accept PM). -Steira
