View File Dark Side Portraits for Droids in TSL Dark Side Portraits for Droids in TSL Description: The Name of the mod is quite self explanatory for what the mod mainly does lol, but in case of a misread, this mod adds Dark Side Portraits for Droids in TSL. Now that is cleared up, it also adds a new Neutral/Light Side portraits for HK47 and T3M4, unlike the regular portraits which were the average beige like G0T0's, which I kept regular. T3's is changes to a misty blue, and HK's is changed to a more brown colour. First Dark side Portraits are Misty Orange - G0T0, Purlpish Beige - HK47, Misty Green - T3M4. Second Dark Side Portraits are Orange - G0T0, Purplish Red - HK47, Orange - T3M4. I find the Orange for the second transitions make sense for G0T0 and T3 since they would never fully ever be dark, while red for HK47 makes sense since he really is quite dark side. Installation: Run the executable that comes in the readme in the mod. Follow the instructions that come with it. Uninstallation: Delete the .tga files that come with this mod in tslpatchdata that are in your override folder. Copy the .2da files from "Backup" into your override folder and replace when prompted. Use of Files: You can use this in your mod, as long as you make 1 or more changes to this. Think of it as a Modders Resource as well as a mod. You can have Dark Side Transitions for your own custom retextures. LEGAL: This mod is not distributed by Bioware or Obsidian. In Obsidian's sequel, T3-M4 is improved by a long shot when compared to his first appearance in Kotor 1. This mod aims to recreate some of the new improvements from Kotor 2 for Kotor 1. What does this mod do? It does the following: * You can ask T3-M4 for Computer Spikes outside the Ebon Hawk. * T3's Computer Spike Dialogue can be repeated meaning you can get the maximum amount of Computer Spikes from T3 in a single dialogue sitting. * T3 can now be used as a portable Workbench.     These textures attempt a more realistic style while also adding effects that I don't see altered very often such as Poison. There are several iterations of major textures such as fire and lightning. Lightning has been given multiple colors for those who that matters to. Several of the new textures are large, though nothing over 2k. I may release an alternate version with lower image sizes for lower end PCs and Laptops. Currently none of these textures are animated, but that could change in the future. --------------------------------------- Screens have been added for most textures. Personal preference: Don't use my default fire. The alternate textures are eons better.

    DESCRIPTION This is an HD reskin of our loyal astromech droid T3-M4, as well as the rest of the astromech droids. Their textures are now each 2048x2048, each ai-upscaled and manually retouched. I constantly checked my work against the 3D model to ensure there were no texture seams. I even added an environment map to enhance the look of the brushed metal. I made sure to remain as faithful to the original texture as possible while adding a few details of my own. This mod should be compatable with both KotOR games, though T3-M4's texture will go unused in KotOR. INSTALLATION Drop all the .tga or .tpc files into the Override folder wherever KotOR or KotORII is installed. UNINSTALLATION Delete the previously installed files. In the years following his release, Sith Holocron recolored Sapiens’ texture for the other astromech droids in the game /( https://deadlystream.com/files/file/971-refurbished-astromech-droids/) What we didn’t know is that Sith Holocron recolored the T3-M4 texture for his own personal uses as he was attempting to get closer to the coloring seen in the original “vanilla” T3-M4 texture. Sapiens’ original mod can only work in K1 if the player renames the original texture (and the associated TXI file) to the K1 name structure. To quote from Darth Sapiens’ original mod page: "this is a t3m4 skin I have had in the works for a little while now, my usual rules apply, use this however you'd like but give me credit and a PM, all the disclaimers and stuff apply. thanks obsidian and bioware, NO thanks Disney."     [K2] Droid Companion for Mira ========================================================= Description: This mod allows You to get an Astromech Droid companion for Mira. It will appear when You have Mira in Your active party and will follow her around, also fighting along with her. It behaves just like Bao Dur's Remote drone. It makes sense for a bounty huntress like Mira to have a top of the line Astromech Droid along with her, as it can help her with Computers, Doors, and Loot Crates slicing / hacking! It has been tested and works fine. This mod is compatible with TSLRCM, M4-78 and the Mira Romance Mod! Player Guide: In order to get the Astromech Droid, talk to Mira after recruiting her in Your Party, choose the „I was hoping we could talk.” line, then You will see a new dialogue line hinting at the Droid („Nice Astromech Droid you got there.”). When triggering this dialogue line the Droid will appear and accompany Mira. HK-47 (Combat Droid Class) granted the same Feat Progression as the Soldier Class. 14. T3-M4 (Expert Droid Class) granted 2 extra feats. 15. Scoundrels gain Treat Injury as a Class Skill. 16. Protagonist Soldier & Scout gain Persuade as a Class Skill. 17. T3-M4 (Expert Droid Class) can now select Master Two-Weapon Fighting when leveling up. 18. Fixed Weapon Proficiency/Focus Icons (Credit to Kainzorus Prime).

    This mod replaces all HK-47s textures. Just like my other party member reskins; the size has been increased to 2048x2048. Which allowed me to put in some extra details and give a decent update to the skin. There's now a more visible metal texture but otherwise; nothing major has been altered to HKs skin. I did tweak the contrast and colors but its still the same rusty killer droid. Look at the comparison picture to get a better idea INSTALL: Unpack and copy the 3 files P_HK47_01.tga and TXI, plus PO_Phk47 to your override. That simple!
  24. Recently I have been developing this mod where you can get an Astromech Droid companion for Mira. The Droid is intended to work as a puppet, such as Bao Dur's Remote. I have been following this great Tutorial found here: https://web.archive.org/web/20121204061652/http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=151438 I have encountered a problem with actually triggering the puppet (Droid in our case) to appear. The Tutorial states this: "In order for that script to work, your intended puppet owner must be in the active party when the script is run. As such a good place to run the script would be as part of the script that makes the NPC in question join your party." I have no idea how to bind the script to the one that makes Mira join my party, so I made a new Dialogue line for Mira that should trigger the script. I have her in my active party as stated in the Tutorial, the problem is that even after triggering the Conversation line that fires the puppet join script, the Droid still does not appear! I have no idea what goes wrong, I tried multiple times, checked and rechecked if the script is set to trigger in the dialogue, etc but it still doesn't work... I'd be more than happy if anyone could lend a helping hand with this mod! If you want to help I'm attaching the mod files and savegame below, with my deepest gratitude!
