  1. HD (16:9) Loadscreens and UI Fixes

These are a set of HD loadscreens for the first Knights of the Old Republic game, made from JackInTheBox's high quality UI assets. I've also fixed a few miscellaneous problems regarding symmetry and alignment with Jack's assets, but I haven't made any unnecessary stylistic changes.
You must install the following mods BEFORE mine:
    A widescreen patch, preferably UniWS
ndix UR's "KotOR High Resolution Menus"

Jack's "HD MENUS AND UI Assets"

Enjoy, and please do report any issues you find.

  2. JC's Romance Enhancement: Biromantic Bastila for K1

    Summary
This mod allows those playing as a female character to romance Bastila, an option available only for male player characters in the original release of the game. The female version of the romance will play out just as the male version, through talking to Bastila as your player gains experience and by choosing certain dialogue options. The romance can also be ended just as the male romance can, by choosing or avoiding certain dialogue options.
Lines will still vary depending on the player's gender; for example, Bastila will not call a female player a man, nor compare her to any man.
I have executed this by removing certain lines, or certain parts of lines, that lacked an alternate take for a female player, and in some cases voided the existing female versions in favor of the romance lines. I'm not entirely satisfied with all of these changes - in particular, the male version still has a lot more dialogue, and I don't think that's fair - but my priority was to make everything flow naturally, with minimal editing.
Also, this should not interfere with the Carth or Juhani romances; you should be able to go through those as well Bastila's if you so desire. The game does not take issue with it.
The romance system is surprisingly straightforward, compared to later BioWare games. As such, I may consider adding a bit of complexity in future updates.

    Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Install.exe. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). This mod only supports the English language version of the game at this time.

    Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary.
    Compatibility
This mod is compatible with my Pan-Galactic Flirting mod.
    This mod patches the following:
k_hbas_dialog.dlg (Bastila's global dialogue) lev40_saul403.dlg unk44_evilbast.dlg This mod may not be compatible with any other mods that edit those files.
This mod also installs the following new VO:
NGLOBEBAST06951_ NGLOBEBAST06952_ NGLOBEBAST06953_ NGLOBEBAST06954_ NM44ACEVIL01901_ This mod will not be compatible with any mods utilizing those names for WAV or LIP files.
This mod patches the modules lev_m40aa, unk_m44acd, and sta_m45ac and may not be compatible with other mods that affect those areas. TSLPatcher is utilized for better compatibility, but there's never any guarantee. This mod must be installed AFTER any non-TSLPatcher mods that edit those areas.
This mod includes bug fixes for Bastila's romance scripts on the Unknown World and the Star Forge. You should NOT install another mod to fix these problems, as that would override this mod's changes that remove the gender checks.

  3. [K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix

[K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix

Lights are always nice in a dark places. Though it'd be nicer to know where it came from...

    What Happened?
Inside the Temple Main Floor, there are rooms with source of lights that comes from nowhere. I was terrified... thought at first they're missing the GIT reference for the placeables, appears they're not, as they're not placeables. With second thought, perhaps they're missing their render flag? Again, no lamp meshes with the room model as pointed by DarthParametric. Apparently, they are missing their lamps which caused by missing references for the objects. In essence, the lamp is not part of the room model nor a placeable, instead a reference model called by the room's.

    What Does This Mod Do?
This mod adds the missing reference for the lamps to four of the rooms inside the Temple Main Floor module. Optionally, it can also readjust the facing point of two Rune Covered Pillars inside one of the room, which I think could improve the aesthetics and immersion that's missing from the original setup.
Here's a before-and-after screenshots of what this mod mainly does -
And the optional that readjust the pillars' facing point -

    What Can You Do?
There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod.

    What You Should Do?
For best experience with the game itself, I suggest you to have KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
Uninstallation: remove these files from the Override folder -
m44aa_04a.mdl m44aa_04a.mdx m44aa_05a.mdl m44aa_05a.mdx m44aa_15a.mdl m44aa_15a.mdx m44aa_17a.mdl m44aa_17a.mdx Compatibility: will not be compatible with mods that edits and/or replace the relevant models, also mods that possibly changes the module layouts/LYT
The mod can be installed anytime - anywhere as the game's progress, and will have direct effect instantly
It is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version
Redistribution: you can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites, just don't claim it as your own. Though I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. Be advised then, most likely I will not provide ones if I don't know where it re-hosted.
If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. Inside this mod are resources which can be repurposed for your likings in one condition; please include the unmodified-original sources along with the release of the project. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included.
Said and done, give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them this enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

  4. JC's Teal Hammerhead for K1

    Summary
The Harbinger, the Hammerhead-class ship in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, has a distinctively different appearance from that of Republic ships in the first game.

  6. [K1] Legends - Elder Droid's Unique VO

This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition.

    # Background #
It was one fine evening when I take a walk inside the Elder's Settlement. I wonder how them droids sounds like, and then... why do they sounded like T3?
So I wanted to experience something else, then I remember back in the Ancient Ruins of Dantooine there was a similar droid there that has something different with it. Apparently it was speaking Rakatan's language that the PC did not recognized. I decided that I had to incorporate that with the droid then, hence the making of this mod.

    # About this Mod #
This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. The sound was made using an inverted Rakatan's voice-over with added droid-like filters on top of it. By concept it gave an idea that the droids were speaking an epitome of language that the PC did not understand [in Bastila's voice], resulting in addition of changing the spoken line of the droids. It also changes the bubble-bark conversation to a cinematic one.
For a distinctive look at what the mod does, here is the preview -

    # Final Remarks #
There's always room for improvements; critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.
Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!
Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
    Uninstallation:
Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu Additionally you may want to remove eb_elderdrd_ANGM.wav from the streamwaves folder Compatibility:
For maximum compatibility, install this mod at the latter stage of your mod's build Will not be compatible with any mods that hard-overwrite the Elder Settlement/unk_m42aa module Pay attention to the patcher's warning messages upon installing the mod. If it tells you that it found an instance of k_hdroid1_dialog.dlg and unk42_elddroidXYZ.utc in the Override folder, then there might be a compatibility issue indeed For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Elder Settlement [unk_m42aa] module
The mod is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version

  10. KotOR 1 Remastered (AI Upscaled) Cutscenes

The cutscenes were upscaled using Topaz Gigapixel AI, and interpolated to 60fps using SVP Pro 4. Black bars are used to maintain the aspect ratio of the content while bringing the videos to 16:9 overall.
    TO INSTALL:
Make a backup of your "Movies" folder, in your main game directory. Download the pack that matches the resolution you play at. (Available: 720p, 768p, 1080p, 1440p, 2160p) Extract/unzip the pack you downloaded. Replace everything in your Movies folder with the extracted files. Do not place them in your Override folder. From here, there are two options to get them to play properly: Use Universal Widescreen (UniWS) to patch your game to the desired resolution. Video tutorial. Using a HEX editor, change the a set of numbers in your game's executable. See below. If you're using the Steam version, you may need to get a replacement executable (which I can't provide here) to be able to open it with the HEX editor or UniWS. Other online guides may have a link to a suitable file.
To edit your executable, follow one of these two guides (skipping the parts about upscaling the cutscenes):
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA5l6HVs4Y4&feature=youtu.be&t=548 https://deadlystream.com/topic/4631-how-to-force-kotor-i-iis-bik-movies-to-play-in-any-resolution/ You will need to change the first and last two values in this set in your exe: 80 02 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 E0 01
The new values you should use, per resolution, are:
    720p: 00 05 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 D0 02 768p: 56 05 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 00 03 1080p: 80 07 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 38 04 1440p: 00 0A 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 A0 05 2160p: 00 0F 00 00 75 15 81 3D D8 D1 78 00 70 08

  11. Better Genoharadan Items

Knights of the Old Republic 1 suffers from an issue where unique items and equipment don't really stack up when compared to generic variants in their class. A waste for items that tend to have unique appearances and icons. The items given by Hulas for the assassinations are a perfect example.
The Genoharadan items have been upgraded and kept reasonably balanced. But make no mistake, they are some of the best equipment in the game - as they should be. Also, all instances of "GenoHaradan" have been changed to "Genoharadan" and the datapad given to contact Hulas is now called "Shady Datapad."
If you use the "High Quality Blasters" mod by Sithspecter (and why wouldn't you be) then only use the "geno_blaster.uti" file inside the "High Quality Blasters" folder. Otherwise the Genoharadan Blaster will not appear with its unique appearance.

  12. K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix - Revan Edition

This is a companion to my  K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix mod. In a similar manner, it adjusts the model file for K1's main menu so that it properly fills the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). It is designed to be used in conjunction with ndix UR’s KotOR High Resolution Menus mod (as pictured). But of course the major feature is that it swaps out Darth Malak for Darth Revan. There are four versions included:
Version A uses the vanilla Revan N_DarthRevan01 texture, upscaled to 2048x2048. This texture will override the original and be used by the Revan stunt model (or flowing robes mods) during the game. Alternatively, the menu model will make use of any third party texture of the same name, should you prefer those. Version B uses a uniquely named texture, so it will not override the one used in-game, and the menu model will not make use of third party textures. Additionally, the envmap mask on this texture was adjusted to tone down the shininess of the chest and arms, as I found that a bit too overpowering. Version C uses a further modified version of B's texture to also adjust the colour of the helmet/mask visor to make it a little more apparent. Version D takes this a step further and adds a slight glow (self-illumination) to the visor.

Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look.
Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model (including my own - although the replacement KOTOR logos are compatible). As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod.
N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS.
    Installation Instructions
Extract the archive, navigate to the folder that contains your desired version, copy and paste the files into your Override folder, overwriting if prompted. If you are using version A and wish to use someone else's texture, don't copy N_DarthRevan01.tpc. Known Issues
The crossed over belts lack a proper animation, so they are basically static. Even scaled up the Revan model lacks the shoulder width of the Malak model, so crossing the arms was a bit difficult to replicate. Acknowledgements
Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax. Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC. Thanks to @ebmar for enquiring about the feasibility of the Malak/Revan swap, leading me down the rabbit hole of actually making the mod.

  13. Nicer Lower City Puzzle Rewards

There are two puzzles in the two apartment complexes located in the lower city of Taris. Each complex contains a puzzle the player can figure out to gain some basic rewards. Too basic if you ask me. This mod changes these rewards to be more substantial and worth the hassle, especially on repeat playthroughs where the solution has been memorized.
The trivia puzzle contains a breathing mask only available at the end of the game, and then only in one of two ending paths. The mask is not even that great when compared to equipment available in the midgame. The Twisted Rancor Trio puzzle now contains the rare Yusanis Dueling Shield, perfect for use in the arena. Both also contain the armors that are originally granted for completing the puzzles along with stacks of credits. The credits are of special note if using the "Tougher Merchants" mod by koaandl.
As an added bonus I also removed the 'quest item' tag from "The Twisted Rancor Trio" datapad. Normally the game removes all quest items obtained on Taris after leaving the planet with the exception of this datapad. An oversight by the original developers no doubt. Without the tag you can take it, read it and then be rid of it.
This mod had to be implemented through modification of the module files directly because of file name sharing. This mod also comes as is and not in TSL Patcher form for the benefit of Android users. It would likely be incompatible with K1R so there really is no point for a patcher version.
Installation: Drop both module files into the "modules" folder and overwrite (I recommend making backups) the originals inside if prompted to. For Android users you must create a folder named "modules" in the same directory as your mod override folder on your device if you don't already have said folder.

  14. Rodian Messenger Restoration

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    Release Date: 03.10.2019
    Installation:
Simply Copy and Paste or Drag or Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder, you can safely Override any files that may conflict.
    Uninstallation:
Remove or Delete the files you copied from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder
    Description:
Once you recruit Bastila, a Twi'lek Messenger from the Exchange gives you a message from Canderous Ordo. In the game files, this Twi'lek's NPC file is named "tar02_rodianmsg" and has
a Rodian Soundset, this suggests he was originally a Twi'lek. This was reported by KnifeMaster to the developers of the Kotor Community Patch, they chose not to include this fix
in their patch as they felt modifying the dialogue from Twi'lek to Rodian was beyond the scope of their mod.
Hence, is why this mod exists as a seperate download and created by me.
    Known Bugs:
None that I know of but if there is please report it so I can fix it
    Incompatibilities:
Is incompatible with anything that edits "tar02_messenger.dlg" and "tar02_rodianmsg.utc"

  15. Korriban Sith Uniform Fixes

There are some mods out there that change the uniforms of the Sith on Korriban to robes, but I myself like this incarnation of the Sith being a bit more "modern-looking." But there are some inconsistencies. Mainly, some students wearing uniforms that would only be worn by higher ranked Sith. The same goes for some masters like Uthar and Jorak which are wearing uniforms identical to the students when met even though Uthar later wears much more flashy attire appropriate to his station as head of the academy.
My fixes correct certain students wearing uniforms they should not, keeping Yuthura in the unique uniform she wears when first meeting her in the cantina and giving Uthar the same treatment for when you first meet him. I also went ahead and gave Uthar's unique uniform to Jorak, the former head of the academy as he too should not be wearing the common male variant.
Minor Spoiler: Both of my files for Yuthura are compatible with the mod "Yuthura Sith Eyes with Light Side Transition" as all that mod does is change the alignment of the Yuthura file for Dantooine so she has non-Sith eyes. My Dantooine Yuthura file has her appear with her unique outfit and also has the alignment modification for the mod compatibility. Just prioritize my "dan13_yuthura.utc" file above the one added by that mod.

  16. Vandar Silent Dialog Fix (Android)

During a certain conversation with the Jedi Masters on Dantooine, Master Vandar can speak a line of dialog that is not voiced.
This is an Android-only bug. It seems whomever was in charge of making each line of voice acting work only with the Android port left this particular line in its PC state which is incompatible with the port, resulting in silence.
Luckily the line by Vandar is pure fluff and it is the proceeding line by Vrook that moves the conversation forward. My fix? Remove Vandar's silent line. Nothing is lost in the conversation as it will skip Vandar and jump to Master Vrook instead.
This mod is compatible with "Jedi From The Start" as even though that mod changes a lot of dialog on Dantooine with the Jedi Masters, this particular dialog file for Vandar is not used.

  17. Improved Galaxy Map (Android)

I present to you one of the few Android-only compatible mods for Kotor 1. You may be thinking one of two things after that statement; what makes this mod only compatible with the Android port or the fact that an improved galaxy map made by Kexikus already exists which places the planets in their Star Wars canon locations. Well as it turns out that mod is incompatible with the Android port because Aspyr used a scaled down version of the "galaxymap.gui" which results in that mod not working properly in the port. Also, the settings on that mod's TSL Patcher have to be changed even if the Aspyr galaxy map is used in that mod's installation. Bottom line; that mod would have to be reworked to function properly with Android Kotor.
Now that I've covered my bases to avoid any claims of mod theft, I'll proceed to explain the mod.
First, I don't care much for "canon" placement of the planets. I could have placed them canonically, but I didn't like how most were bunched together on only one side of the map and in a version of the game where most use touch controls it's better to have them neatly separated throught the galaxy map as to avoid touching the wrong one.
This mod comes as is and I will most likely not upload a TSL Patcher version. The reason being that many Kotor Android players have no access to a computer and it makes it difficult for them to access some mods.
Warning: This mod as stated above is meant to be used with the Android port of Kotor 1. Using it on the PC version may result in damage that I cannot be held responsible for.

  18. Upgraded Implants

When first playing Kotor 1 not too long ago I considered that the implants in the game were lacking some punch. They're rare, can be very expensive and on top of that they require spending feat points to even equip. So I went in and "upgraded" all but two (including the ones added by Yavin Station).
The two left out are the implants that make the user immune to poison and mind-affecting. These two bonuses are good enough as they are without adding more on top of them.
These are not meant to be "cheat" items. I consider them to be properly balanced within the vanilla game. Hope they are enjoyed.

  19. [K1] Darth Revan from SWTOR soundset (as performed by UnusualCharacters)

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 23 AUG 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:

So . . . have you felt that the non-descript voice actor for Knights of the Old Republic 1 male player character didn’t sound enough like Revan in SWTOR?  Here’s a new player character sound set that UnusualCharacters recorded for us in style of Revan from the SWTOR.  The lines as written are exactly the same as the original written for the most part.  When noted below, the original line was missing in the game so I asked UnusualCharacters to improvise.

Lock Picking: Player is making the attempt unlock the lock box or door
    p_plyermw_block1            Got it.
    p_plyermw_block2            No problem.
    p_plyermw_block3            Right.

    Critical hit achieved.
p_plyermw_crit1            Ha! He’ll feel that for sure!
    p_plyermw_crit2            That hurt I bet.
p_plyermw_crit3            You won’t be getting up from that any time soon!

    Mines: Disarming.
    p_plyermw_dmin1            That one’s a dud.
    p_plyermw_dmin2            OK, it’s disabled.
    p_plyermw_dmin3            Mine disabled.

Lock Picking: Player fails the attempt unlock the lock box or door
    p_plyermw_flock1            Damn!
    p_plyermw_flock2            Didn’t work.
    p_plyermw_flock3            Damn it!

    Mines: Arming a Mine.
p_plyermw_lmin1            One surprise trip coming up.
p_plyermw_lmin2            Whoever stands on this will get a nasty shock.
    p_plyermw_lmin3            Mine placed.

Player has low health and needs medical attention.
p_plyermw_low1            [groan] I’m in a lot of pain right now.
p_plyermw_low2             I should get help for my wounds.
    p_plyermw_low3            I’m hurt badly.

Player has just received medical attention.
p_plyermw_med1            [sound of relief] This should patch things up.
    p_plyermw_med2             This should help.
p_plyermw_med3             That’s better.  [new improvised line]

    Player has been poisoned.
p_plyermw_pois1            [groan] I think something got me sick.
    p_plyermw_pois2            [groan] I think I’ve been poisoned.
p_plyermw_pois3            [groan] I think something is in my system.

    The party is regrouping.
    p_plyermw_rprty1            Everyone’s back again!
p_plyermw_rprty2            OK, let’s get going again.
p_plyermw_rprty3            We can get back together now.

Player character has been selected via the menu.
    p_plyermw_slct1            Yeah?
    p_plyermw_slct2            Yes?
    p_plyermw_slct3            What?
    p_plyermw_slct4            Hmm?
    p_plyermw_slct5            Sure.
p_plyermw_slct6            All right.  [new improvised line]
    p_plyermw_slct7           What?
    p_plyermw_slct8            Right.

    Lock Picking: Success.
    p_plyermw_slock1            Opened.
    p_plyermw_slock2            Got it.
    p_plyermw_slock3            Done.

Main Character is going into solo mode.
p_plyermw_sprty1            I need to go alone for a bit.
    p_plyermw_sprty2            We’ll just separate for a bit.
p_plyermw_sprty3            Let me go on alone for a bit.

Player is looking out for something.
    p_plyermw_srch1            I won’t miss a thing.
p_plyermw_srch2            If there’s something there, I’ll find it.
p_plyermw_srch3            Nothing will get by me.

    Stealth mode activated.
    p_plyermw_stlh1            Not even a whisper.
    p_plyermw_stlh2            I’ll avoid what I can.
    p_plyermw_stlh3            Silent and deadly.

The weapon used by player character is either broken or inefficient in current attack.
    p_plyermw_tia1            It’s not doing anything.
p_plyermw_tia2            My weapon isn’t doing anything.
    p_plyermw_tia3            I need a better weapon.

This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me.

    Installation:

You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.

    1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them.  (I recommend you place a new folder on your desktop to make your life easier.)  Those files you're looking for will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.

    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.

Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful.

“I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!”

    Uninstall:
Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

    Special Thanks:
This mod would not have happened if not for @UnusualCharactersgenerosity of performing the voice overs,  Thanks, UC!

  20. Muur Talisman

    Description
Designed by Karness Muur, the Talisman is a dark side artifact that is capable of turning other beings into mindless rakghouls.
    A few things to note:
This item is going to spawn somewhere on Korriban and is hard to miss (in case you do miss it, the cheat code is g_i_frarmbnds25). It does not work on other Force sensitive beings (as stated in the lore). Transformed rakghouls receives bonus to their STR, CON, and receives significant penalties to their WIS, CHA, INT. Their tough hide grants resistance to physical and ion attacks. The rest is for you to discover. Welcome to the dark side, my children... your one chance at true greatness lies here.

  22. KOTOR 1 Improved Feat Gain Mod 1.0

KOTOR 1 Improved Class Feat Gain Mod
    By Mellowtron11
The feat progression for Guardians and Sentinels in K1 is rather lackluster. The Vanilla game Sentinel had the same number of feats as a Consular. Even the Guardian, the supposed ‘Soldier’ -esque class for the Jedi has the feat progression similar to that of a Scoundrel. Therefore, I changed the Sentinel and Guardian Class feat gains to that of their KOTOR2 progressions. In addition, it seemed like the droid class feat progressions were swapped around in the vanilla game. So to avoid constantly swapping different featgain.2da files around, here’s a mod to fix all of those feat progressions in one fell swoop.

    Installation Notes-
Drop the featgain.2da file into the override folder.

    Uninstallation-
Delete the featgain.2da file from your override folder

  23. Two Colored Lightsaber - Double Bladed

Edit 2: Updated the mod name from "Chaos Lightsaber" to "Two Colored Lightsaber - Double Bladed" in hopes that others will be able to find this mod easier, specifically because the mod is a bit niche in my honest opinion. The updated name isn't shown in the readme text file, but the mod is still the same.
Edit: I should give credit where credit is due. So, thanks to rece_w for his tutorial on YouTube. Without it, I likely wouldn't have figured this out 100% on my own. He dropped a pretty significant hint in the video, and that's what got me even trying to make the mod myself in the first place. I will try to link the exact tutorial just below this text, but if it doesn't show up for whatever reason, the title of the video is:
    "Kotor 1 & 2: Custom Lightsaber Tutorial (PC/MAC)"
    Here's the video:
    https://youtu.be/EtxwmXHsIfQ

    README:
    Chaos Lightsaber
Made by: K.O.2 Mods (aka The Frozen One on deadlystream)
    Version: 1.0
    About this Mod:
As of version 1.0, the item can only be spawned into your game.
Open the console and type "giveitem g_w_dblsbr043" without quotes, then hit enter.
This mod might be just a *little* bit Over-Powered for some folks, I don't know for sure though because I usually play with cheats enabled. =P
This took me most of a day to figure everything out, with minimal/beginner experience modding KotOR. Trust me, if an idiot like me can do it you can definitely do it too.

    Extra Info:
10 years. 10, long, years I have waited for a mod just like this to appear. Back then it took me a long time to even find just one single image of a mod for KotOR that showed the double bladed lightsaber display both a red and blue color. Now, I've finished up one of my so called "Dream Mods", which are very specific mods that I wished I had years ago regardless if I or someone else made them or not. A decade of waiting for a days worth of work... worth it!

    How to use/activate/enable this Mod:
Copy all files from the "Chaos Lightsaber Version 1.0" folder and paste them into your Override folder.
Regarding the uploading of this Mod:
Please don't upload this mod anywhere without my approval. If you would like to improve on it or add it to a mod collection, please contact me and I'll give you an answer as soon as possible. If I give you the okay, all I ask is for you to give me credit for the mod(s) that I've made.

  24. [K1] Saber Throw Knockdown Effect

    Description
This mod adds a climactic Knock Down effect to a lightsaber throw (DC 5 + character level + WIS/CHA modifier against reflex save). Only Adv. Lightsaber Throw can knockdown its primary target; Normal lightsaber throw will NOT have this effect. (Which makes sense, “Advanced” implies more fancy effects)

Make sure override folder exists at game root directory Run TSLPatcher to install (Not recommended: if you really want to install manually, I’m sure you could figure out the procedure by looking at tslpatchdata/changes.ini file) Compatibility
This mod shouldn’t cause any conflict. (It adds completely new function and modifies an existing line of spells.2da that no normal mod would touch.)
    Permissions
Do not claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission

  25. Drop Those Lightsabers!

    Drop Those Lightsabers!
A Minor Immersion Mod made by K.O.2 Mods (aka The Frozen One on deadlystreams)
    Version: 1.0
    About this Mod:
When you meet the first Sith and Jedi dueling on the Endar Spire, you see them fighting with lightsabers. But when you loot them after they've met with a terrible fate, there are no lightsabers to be found. Not a single one! This has always been a minor annoyance of mine on each playthrough I've started. With this mod, both the Dark Jedi and Jedi drop their red and blue lightsabers respectively. Just loot both of their belongings in order to get both sabers. You can't wield these weapons until you are supposed to later in the game, but you can still sell them for cold hard credits if you wish.

    How to use/activate/enable this Mod:
Just copy n_sithappren001.utc and n_sithappren002.utc from the "Drop Those Lightsabers!" folder and paste both files into your Override folder. You must start a new game in order for this mod to work.

To those that helped me with this Mod:
Thanks to ebmar and Mellowtron11 for their extremely detailed walkthroughs on how to make this mod. I couldn't have done this without their help.
