Movie Mandalorians - Retextured by Mcfly -------------------- My intention in making these textures was to fuse the concept of the Movie Mandalorians mod, with the original in-game Mandalorian designs. I initially made these just for my own use, but I decided to release them once I finally completed the set. -------------------- Install: -------------------- - These textures require the Movie Mandalorians mod by Deadman. - Copy all .tga files into your KOTOR2/override folder. -------------------- Uninstall: -------------------- - Delete the .tga files from your override folder. - Reinstall Movie Mandalorians mod to restore the original textures -------------------- Special Thanks: -------------------- - Deadman, for creating the original mod. Thank you Deadman! -------------------- Permission: -------------------- - Anyone is welcome to do whatever they like with these. -------------------- Contact: -------------------- If for any reason you want to contact me, you can find me on DeadlyStream and NexusMods. - Mcfly696 @ NexusMods - Mcfly @ DeadlyStream

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.2.0 Release Date: 27.01.2024 Installation: Alongside the "Readme.txt" file will be the following folders: "Audio Mods" "Movie Cutscene Mods" "Override Mods" * To install Audio Mods: Open the Audio Mods folder, open the Taris Sith Raid XBOX VO folder, open the Streamwaves and copy all 4 .WAV files to this directly (swkotor\streamwaves\m02aa\prer99) and overwrite the vanilla files. * To install Movie Cutscene Mods: Open the Movie Cutscene Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and simply copy the .BIK file into your swkotor "movies" folder and overwrite the original .BIK files. * To install Override Mods: Open the Override Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and copy the files within the mod folder into your swkotor "Override" folder. You cannot install both Dark Jedi mods as they use the same files, please pick only one Dark Jedi mod to install. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to uninstall. * For Audio Mods, open the "Backup (Vanilla Files)" and copy the .WAVs inside to the prer99 folder and overwrite the Xbox .WAVs you added. * For Movie Cutscene Mods, open the "Backup (Vanilla Cutscenes)" folder and copy the .BIKs inside to your swkotor movies folder and overwrite the Xbox .BIKs. * For Override mods, delete the files you copied into your Override. Description: As you may know, or may even remember, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was released on July 15 2003 whilst the PC edition was released on November 19 2003. Obviously, the original Xbox console from 2003 has gone out of fashion a LONG time ago and 95% of the Kotor Modding and Gaming Community in general have migrated over to the glorious PC Master- *Cough* I mean, to the PC. But did you know that Bioware gave Kotor one final improvement before releasing the full game to the PCs? if you've actually played Kotor on the original Xbox (Or maybe even the Xbox 360, Xbox One or even the Xbox Series X) then you'll recall how on the Console edition of Kotor had a variety of oddities like lower resolution textures, different appearances for NPCs, incorrect appearances for NPCs, alternative VO, bugs/glitches, Yavin 4 being locked behind DLC and more... This mod pack is similar to my TSL Mini Mod Collection mod, every update to the KOTOX will include more Xbox inspired mods for the player to install and experience. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Would be incompatible with any mods which modify the Taris Sith Raid dlg, the legal and Revan's death .BIKs and any Dark Jedi texture mods. Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: l2daorch: For contributing the Taris Sith Raid audio! DarthParametric: For contributing the Xbox textures! DrMcCoy and DarthParametric (again): For helping me with Xoreo's Tools! Effix: For helping me operate the Command Prompt! Asxdefter on YouTube: For his 2010 playthrough of Kotor on the Xbox 360. His Kotor videos were a massive inspiration for making this mod! BlueShadePlays on YouTube: For their 2017 playthrough of Kotor on the Xbox One. As the Xbox One Kotor has 1080p support, their Kotor videos provided HD crystal clear footage of the Xbox features which I recreated in this mod! Bioware: For such an amazing game! JCarter428: For SithCodec! Stoffee: For TSLPatcher! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! Description: As I've explored all the mods which adjust and improve the textures and models for various objects and people in the game, I've noticed that surprisingly little attention has been given to modifying the appearance or look of one NPC in particular: Davik Kang, the crime lord and leader of the Exchange crime syndicate on Taris. While he doesn't have much actual screen time, he is quite important to much of the Taris section of the game. Although the tastes and opinions of people will vary wildly on this, I always felt like his appearance was rather "clunky" as he always seemed to be wearing his armor. Despite the fact that this is understandable, it would seem more fitting for an important crime-lord and de-facto important "noble" of Taris to be dressed rather formal or fancy given how others of his profession and rank are typically dressed. It would not be far-fetched to assume one in his position could wear a robe or formal jacket with body armor underneath for protection while maintaining a more "polished" look on the outside. I've included a custom skin and ported model from Kotor II for Davik's outer vestments, as well as a sharper-textured tpc file for his head that is included in the K2 game files. Installation: Just run the TSLPatcher the direct it to your game file To Uninstall: Remove the files from your Override folder and add the backup .2da file to it Copyright: Anyone is welcome to use my models and textures, just please ask first and be sure to give me credit UPDATE: New version includes texture of his robe without the military medals, as requested Thanks to: Effix, N-DReW25, Thor110, and others for giving me the basics of porting models and assigning textures in the game Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. 6. The jedi robes on dantooine are bugged for me. I have lots of mods installed. Running vanilla fixes the issue, so it's something I've installed. https://ibb.co/Tm2gjg2 I installed these: Jedi Fix https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/64 Remastered High Resolution Armors https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1156 I've deleted all references to "jedi" or "jc" in the override folder though, and the issue is still there. Thanks for any help.

Description: The swords, axes, and stun batons in Vanilla TSL aren't the most prettiest things you could look at in the game. I have decided to make a texture enhancement for the swords since Snigaroo put a request for a skin to do something like this on the mod build request thread for TSL. I also wanted to make this eventually, so why not do it now? The vanilla TSL swords have been upscaled to 2048 x 2048 from 64 x 64. I then used KotorBlender and GIMP to make the swords look better. Likewise for the axes and the stun batons. Person-who-wouldn't-wish-to-be-credited also provided an alternate stun baton texture for the 004 stun baton in a discussion with him, and button textures I used on the stun batons and swords. The alternate stun baton texture has a wood and leather appearance. I haven't changed the animated "zappy" texture on the stun batons, nor have I changed the third stun baton texture, since none of the stun batons in the game use it. Screenshots are provided in the "Screeshots" folder. Installation: 1. Extract the .zip 2. Copy all of the .tpc files from "override" 3. Paste them into the override folder in the TSL directory 4. *Optionally* Copy w_Stunbaton_004.tpc from Alternate 4th Stun Baton folder and copy that into the override folder in your TSL directory, overwrite when prompted. ============================================= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION ============================================= AUTHOR: Marius Fett NAME: TSL Beast Ports for KotOR I DESCRIPTION: This is a set of ports of six animal/beast/creature models from TSL over to KotOR I. They are the large Boma Beast, the Cannok, the Hssiss, the Laigrek, the Maalrass and the Zakkeg. I know that there are other beasts in TSL such as the smaller Boma and the Drexl etc, but I just ported a selection over for now. NOTE: This is intended as a resource and NOT as a standalone mod. You can run the included TSL patcher to quickly add the relevant rows to appearance.2da and put the models/textures into your Override folder, but they are not placed anywhere in the game. PERMISSIONS: This modders resource is free to use in any mod you produce and release, provided that relevant credit is given.

View and export Odyssey Engine proprietary texture formats. A lightweight, somewhat quick viewer for textures in TPC format, or the proprietary header DDS format used in Aurora and its descendants. Also provides a capability to export to TGA, which is useful when you find images that won't convert via any other tool. The viewer aspect is a bit of an afterthought, as for the longest time this was just where I tested my TPC=>TGA conversion code. However, over time, I found myself wanting a simple viewer that could preview a lot of images at once, so this happened. The application is cross-platform, available for macOS and Windows. The app is written in javascript, built on Electron using three.js. ============================================================ How do I set it up? Windows: Download the '-installer' file, unzip the 7z package, run tgaview Setup <version>.exe Mac: unzip the package, move tpcview.app to /Applications, run it * This is not a signed application, so you have to do whatever is required to run non-MAS applications on your MacOS version. The application provides file associations for TPC & DDS files. Hopefully the DDS association will not override any you may already have for non-proprietary DDS files. ============================================================ How do I use it? Viewing Drag files in. They should show up. The files you drag in fill the window in a list that generally resembles the file input order. They all show at once, so there's a moderate memory requirement around loading many files at once. For example, loading the 5210 TPC files from TSL takes 2.25G memory on my machine, your mileage will vary. Mouse over images to get info about them in the window's title bar. Click images to toggle scaling the image to fit the window and viewing the information about them in the info panel at the bottom of the window. Double click the background of the window to clear all loaded images. Exporting Use modifier keys while dragging in order to get Export as TGA functionality. A description of the export activity you are requesting shows up in the info panel at the bottom while you are dragging. Export will occur while the file is being loaded. You cannot export already open images without dragging them in again. Files are exported into same directory as original TPC files being dragged, THEY WILL OVERWRITE EXISTING TGA FILES WITHOUT WARNING. When a TPC file is exported to TGA, a TXI file will also be generated if the original TPC file contained such information. When adding alpha blending value to TXI output, only non-1.0 values will be added (as 1.0 is considered default). ============================================================ Features View TPC format 32bpp, 24bpp, and 8bpp compressed and uncompressed images View Aurora proprietary DDS format 32bpp and 24bpp compressed images Export to TGA Export TXI files containing the texture extension information from TPC files Export all detail levels (mipmaps) present in original image file (can help debugging image compressors) Add an alpha blending value from the TPC header into exported TXI file outputs, i.e. '# alphablending 0.67' File association for TPC and DDS formats with provided file type icons

    HD NPC Portraits

HD NPC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20201004 - by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds 30 high resolution (1K) portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers. I did some amount of normalizing the gradients behind the characters. I think Disciple and Mira are the only ones with non-standard background gradients now. This package includes portrait for HK-50 and HK-51 units. They aren't used in any existing mods I'm aware of; I just put them in because they made sense to have. You can remove them if you wish. The Atris portrait is unused in the vanilla game but may be used by playable Atris mods. I only included it because it existed in the vanilla assets. INSTALL / UNINSTALL To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20200805 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for PCs. All 34 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 3 light-dark variants, for a total of 102 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setupusing a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. While working on the K1CP I discovered that there are actually three different Sith soldier textures. There's the red and the silver that we're all used to, but there's also a white one that is unused. This restores the white texture into the game. You have the option to either make the standard troopers white and the elite/command troopers silver, or vice-versa. INSTALL: Run the installer and select either Main OR Alternate. I recommend installing this AFTER the KOTOR 1 Community Patch and JC's Korriban: Back in Black if you use them. PERMISSION: I give anyone permission to do whatever the heck they want with this, whether or not they give me credit. (Although credit is always nice, y'know?)
  18. View File K1 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures Mahalo for checking out my mod! I promise I will get updated pictures down the road. This is a WIP port of my K2 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures mod I made recently. I was originally planning on just porting over the entire mod and upscaling the Gaffi stick textures, but the ranged weapons got messed up šŸ™ƒ So for now, this mod will only contain the upscaled melee weapons! This is my to-do list for this mod: Upscale ranged weapon textures to 512px & make sure they work Upscale gaffi stick textures to 512px & make sure they work The mod itself should be pretty simple to install - just download the file, go into the folder of the weapons you want to replace, and drop the loose files directly into your Override folder (should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Star Wars - KotOR2\Override, for example). Note that this won't be compatible with mods that change the models or retexture weapons, so if you want to use my textures be sure to overwrite the ones in your Override with the ones from this file! For major overhauls like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement where the weapons look physically different, textures from this file won't work with those models. Why should I use these textures over something like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement? Honestly, if the mods doesn't break anything in your game, you should just use those mods instead since they offer actually good weapon models and textures. This is more of an alternative for those who have problems with those kinds of mods or can't run those kinds of mods for whatever reason, or are looking to complement other high-res textures from those mods. Or you really, really like the vanilla textures and want to be a purist. Submitter Ol' Cappy Submitted 08/20/2022 Category Skins K1R Compatible Yes

This is a small skin pack I had laying about. It just improves Calo Nord, the bounty hunter. You'll get two variants, in this pack, each has its own folder. The "Gamelook", as the name implies, is Calo in his blue vest outfit and white hat. Second folder, QsLook, is a minor recolor of my own choice. It gives him a tanned darker vest. And black hat. Other details remain just the same. He now has a mustache! I know! It just made sense to me šŸ˜„ To install; unpack and then copy the contents to your override folder.

Mahalo for checking out my mod! HD UI Menu Pack

HD UI Menu Pack for Knights of the Old Republic v1.1 - 20180318 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution UI menu textures. 2K is the base resolution. The content is redrawn vector art, no modified scale-ups here. It is focused on menu backgrounds, and includes some of the overlay components for the menus. Pure Vanilla (PV) Edition aims to provide the closest match to the original menu texture assets. This mod doesn't touch a lot of the 'extra' menu-like GUI elements yet, such as the galaxy screen, computer interfaces, pazaak, etc. It also doesn't mess with the main menu at all yet. Requirements You must be running menus at a high resolution for this to really work. At the default menu size, this mod will probably look bad. You must have KotOR High Resolution Menus or an equivalent mod installed for good results. Known Issues The original textures were for 640x480 menus. The 4x sized textures in this package would look best at 2560x1920, which nobody really uses. If your display is less than 2560px width, you may experience seams where different textures are intended to meet seamlessly. The game just isn't that good at scaling UI textures with alpha channels used for transparency. There's nothing I can really do about it. There are some sprites in the menu processes that haven't made it into the package yet. They may sometime. I've added x/y clamping to some textures that should have transparent edges over 3D backgrounds. It makes the transparent edges work well, but the diffuse edges work less well. It seems you can't have it both ways, and this is the trade off. Install / Uninstall To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. HD Cockpit Skyboxes DESCRIPTION When you land the Ebon Hawk on a planet, you are able to look out of the cockpit and view the landing platform. This is achieved by a cylindrical texture. Since the vanilla textures were low res, inaccurate, and desaturated, I recreated the platforms in Maya and rendered them to look as they do in-game. The main planets, including M4-78, are all remastered in 4096x1024. I also include a version of the Nar Shaddaa cockpit texture that utilizes the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod by Sharen Thrawn. Additionally, I've upscaled and retouched the outer hull of the ship as seen from the cockpit. If you need downscaled versions, the Medium Resolution option provides 2048x512 resolution skyboxes while the Low Resolution option provides 1024x256 resolution skyboxes (the size from the vanilla game). I'm also offering these textures in TPC format, which tends to be 1/4th the size and download time of the uncompressed files. INSTALLATION -Drop all of the files from the main mod folder into your override folder. -If you want the cockpit texture that uses the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod, replace the EBO_Sky01.tga file with the one from the folder labeled With Nar Shaddaa Realistic Skybox. UNINSTALLATION -Delete the aforementioned files from your override folder. THANX Thanks to Photoshop, Maya, MDLOps, Gmax, KotORmax, GIMP, Blender, KotORBlender, and ESRGAN. Special Thanks to Sharen Thrawn for making the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod. Please don't repost this on other sites unless as part of a mod pack (with proper credit to me)

  25. View File Quanons Taris Upscaled Textures This mod will add upscaled textures for the planet Taris. Except the skies and Sith base see note below. All textures are now 4x their original size. Example a 128x128 becomes 512x512, etc... I've not gone up to the 4096x4096 sizes as I don't see what that would add to this older game. A few textures do get to this size, example is the Ebon Hawk. Normal maps have also been redone, rerendered not just upscaled. It's still a 400% improvement on the older files. Enjoy! Sky textures are made by the awesome Kexikus get them here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/723-high-quality-skyboxes-ii/ For the Sith base get my other Upscaled pack! šŸ˜‰ Another great mod you might consider, for the cantina signs; by SithHolocron: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1135-animated-manaan-cantina-sign-for-kotor1/ Other big improvement, to the Taris arena, mainly the crowds and fights, by DarthParametric: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1404-taris-dueling-arena-adjustment/ Submitter Quanon Submitted 06/30/2022 Category Mods K1R Compatible Yes
