This mod changes the hologram-overlay texture used by TSL [mostly] for the holo-logs. It is mainly inspired by combination of movie-style and SWTOR's. Preview Description This mod uses a static-texture that sized at 512x512 resolution. It has an alpha-channel that used for scanline effects, which diffuse used mainly for diffuse-color. Disclaimer What's seen in the preview is an end-result from also using a visually-affecting mod, that is DarthParametric's "Fixed Hologram Models and Admiralty Redux for TSLRCM". Requirement It is required for users to have TSLRCM v1.8.6 installed to their game for this mod to be working as intended. K2CP is not strictly-required, but is strongly-suggested to have as well as this mod were made with CP’s compatibility in-mind. See `Disclaimer` section above; hence it is required for user to also install the aforementioned mod to have the optimum result. Fixed Hologram Models and Admiralty Redux for TSLRCM - Mods - Deadly Stream Compatibility Compatible with any mods and builds -- long as not affecting `holotex`. It is advised for user to remove any instance of TGA, DDS, or TXI format of the said file in their `override` folder before install. Installation Install `holotex.TPC` to the `override` folder. Overwrite when prompted. Known Issues N/A Final Remarks There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. ============================================= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION ============================================= AUTHOR: Marius Fett NAME: TSL Beast Ports for KotOR I DESCRIPTION: This is a set of ports of six animal/beast/creature models from TSL over to KotOR I. They are the large Boma Beast, the Cannok, the Hssiss, the Laigrek, the Maalrass and the Zakkeg. I know that there are other beasts in TSL such as the smaller Boma and the Drexl etc, but I just ported a selection over for now. NOTE: This is intended as a resource and NOT as a standalone mod. You can run the included TSL patcher to quickly add the relevant rows to appearance.2da and put the models/textures into your Override folder, but they are not placed anywhere in the game. PERMISSIONS: This modders resource is free to use in any mod you produce and release, provided that relevant credit is given.

View and export Odyssey Engine proprietary texture formats. A lightweight, somewhat quick viewer for textures in TPC format, or the proprietary header DDS format used in Aurora and its descendants. Also provides a capability to export to TGA, which is useful when you find images that won't convert via any other tool. The viewer aspect is a bit of an afterthought, as for the longest time this was just where I tested my TPC=>TGA conversion code. However, over time, I found myself wanting a simple viewer that could preview a lot of images at once, so this happened. The application is cross-platform, available for macOS and Windows. The app is written in javascript, built on Electron using three.js. ============================================================ How do I set it up? Windows: Download the '-installer' file, unzip the 7z package, run tgaview Setup <version>.exe Mac: unzip the package, move tpcview.app to /Applications, run it * This is not a signed application, so you have to do whatever is required to run non-MAS applications on your MacOS version. The application provides file associations for TPC & DDS files. Hopefully the DDS association will not override any you may already have for non-proprietary DDS files. ============================================================ How do I use it? Viewing Drag files in. They should show up. The files you drag in fill the window in a list that generally resembles the file input order. They all show at once, so there's a moderate memory requirement around loading many files at once. For example, loading the 5210 TPC files from TSL takes 2.25G memory on my machine, your mileage will vary. Mouse over images to get info about them in the window's title bar. Click images to toggle scaling the image to fit the window and viewing the information about them in the info panel at the bottom of the window. Double click the background of the window to clear all loaded images. Exporting Use modifier keys while dragging in order to get Export as TGA functionality. A description of the export activity you are requesting shows up in the info panel at the bottom while you are dragging. Export will occur while the file is being loaded. You cannot export already open images without dragging them in again. Files are exported into same directory as original TPC files being dragged, THEY WILL OVERWRITE EXISTING TGA FILES WITHOUT WARNING. When a TPC file is exported to TGA, a TXI file will also be generated if the original TPC file contained such information. When adding alpha blending value to TXI output, only non-1.0 values will be added (as 1.0 is considered default). ============================================================ Features View TPC format 32bpp, 24bpp, and 8bpp compressed and uncompressed images View Aurora proprietary DDS format 32bpp and 24bpp compressed images Export to TGA Export TXI files containing the texture extension information from TPC files Export all detail levels (mipmaps) present in original image file (can help debugging image compressors) Add an alpha blending value from the TPC header into exported TXI file outputs, i.e. '# alphablending 0.67' File association for TPC and DDS formats with provided file type icons

    HD NPC Portraits

HD NPC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20201004 - by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds 30 high resolution (1K) portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers. I did some amount of normalizing the gradients behind the characters. I think Disciple and Mira are the only ones with non-standard background gradients now. This package includes portrait for HK-50 and HK-51 units. They aren't used in any existing mods I'm aware of; I just put them in because they made sense to have. You can remove them if you wish. The Atris portrait is unused in the vanilla game but may be used by playable Atris mods. I only included it because it existed in the vanilla assets. INSTALL / UNINSTALL To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20200805 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for PCs. All 34 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 3 light-dark variants, for a total of 102 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setupusing a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers. While working on the K1CP I discovered that there are actually three different Sith soldier textures. There's the red and the silver that we're all used to, but there's also a white one that is unused. This restores the white texture into the game. You have the option to either make the standard troopers white and the elite/command troopers silver, or vice-versa. INSTALL: Run the installer and select either Main OR Alternate. I recommend installing this AFTER the KOTOR 1 Community Patch and JC's Korriban: Back in Black if you use them. PERMISSION: I give anyone permission to do whatever the heck they want with this, whether or not they give me credit. (Although credit is always nice, y'know?)
  9. View File K1 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures Mahalo for checking out my mod! I promise I will get updated pictures down the road. This is a WIP port of my K2 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures mod I made recently. I was originally planning on just porting over the entire mod and upscaling the Gaffi stick textures, but the ranged weapons got messed up 🙃 So for now, this mod will only contain the upscaled melee weapons! This is my to-do list for this mod: Upscale ranged weapon textures to 512px & make sure they work Upscale gaffi stick textures to 512px & make sure they work The mod itself should be pretty simple to install - just download the file, go into the folder of the weapons you want to replace, and drop the loose files directly into your Override folder (should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Star Wars - KotOR2\Override, for example). Note that this won't be compatible with mods that change the models or retexture weapons, so if you want to use my textures be sure to overwrite the ones in your Override with the ones from this file! For major overhauls like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement where the weapons look physically different, textures from this file won't work with those models. Why should I use these textures over something like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement? Honestly, if the mods doesn't break anything in your game, you should just use those mods instead since they offer actually good weapon models and textures. This is more of an alternative for those who have problems with those kinds of mods or can't run those kinds of mods for whatever reason, or are looking to complement other high-res textures from those mods. Or you really, really like the vanilla textures and want to be a purist. Submitter Ol' Cappy Submitted 08/20/2022 Category Skins K1R Compatible Yes

This is a small skin pack I had laying about. It just improves Calo Nord, the bounty hunter. You'll get two variants, in this pack, each has its own folder. The "Gamelook", as the name implies, is Calo in his blue vest outfit and white hat. Second folder, QsLook, is a minor recolor of my own choice. It gives him a tanned darker vest. And black hat. Other details remain just the same. He now has a mustache! I know! It just made sense to me 😄 To install; unpack and then copy the contents to your override folder.

    HD UI Menu Pack

    Version 1.1

    33,378 downloads

HD UI Menu Pack for Knights of the Old Republic v1.1 - 20180318 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution UI menu textures. 2K is the base resolution. The content is redrawn vector art, no modified scale-ups here. It is focused on menu backgrounds, and includes some of the overlay components for the menus. Pure Vanilla (PV) Edition aims to provide the closest match to the original menu texture assets. This mod doesn't touch a lot of the 'extra' menu-like GUI elements yet, such as the galaxy screen, computer interfaces, pazaak, etc. It also doesn't mess with the main menu at all yet. Requirements You must be running menus at a high resolution for this to really work. At the default menu size, this mod will probably look bad. You must have KotOR High Resolution Menus or an equivalent mod installed for good results. Known Issues The original textures were for 640x480 menus. The 4x sized textures in this package would look best at 2560x1920, which nobody really uses. If your display is less than 2560px width, you may experience seams where different textures are intended to meet seamlessly. The game just isn't that good at scaling UI textures with alpha channels used for transparency. There's nothing I can really do about it. There are some sprites in the menu processes that haven't made it into the package yet. They may sometime. I've added x/y clamping to some textures that should have transparent edges over 3D backgrounds. It makes the transparent edges work well, but the diffuse edges work less well. It seems you can't have it both ways, and this is the trade off. Install / Uninstall To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. HD Cockpit Skyboxes DESCRIPTION When you land the Ebon Hawk on a planet, you are able to look out of the cockpit and view the landing platform. This is achieved by a cylindrical texture. Since the vanilla textures were low res, inaccurate, and desaturated, I recreated the platforms in Maya and rendered them to look as they do in-game. The main planets, including M4-78, are all remastered in 4096x1024. I also include a version of the Nar Shaddaa cockpit texture that utilizes the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod by Sharen Thrawn. Additionally, I've upscaled and retouched the outer hull of the ship as seen from the cockpit. If you need downscaled versions, the Medium Resolution option provides 2048x512 resolution skyboxes while the Low Resolution option provides 1024x256 resolution skyboxes (the size from the vanilla game). I'm also offering these textures in TPC format, which tends to be 1/4th the size and download time of the uncompressed files. INSTALLATION -Drop all of the files from the main mod folder into your override folder. -If you want the cockpit texture that uses the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod, replace the EBO_Sky01.tga file with the one from the folder labeled With Nar Shaddaa Realistic Skybox. UNINSTALLATION -Delete the aforementioned files from your override folder. THANX Thanks to Photoshop, Maya, MDLOps, Gmax, KotORmax, GIMP, Blender, KotORBlender, and ESRGAN. Special Thanks to Sharen Thrawn for making the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod. Please don't repost this on other sites unless as part of a mod pack (with proper credit to me)

  16. View File Quanons Taris Upscaled Textures This mod will add upscaled textures for the planet Taris. Except the skies and Sith base see note below. All textures are now 4x their original size. Example a 128x128 becomes 512x512, etc... I've not gone up to the 4096x4096 sizes as I don't see what that would add to this older game. A few textures do get to this size, example is the Ebon Hawk. Normal maps have also been redone, rerendered not just upscaled. It's still a 400% improvement on the older files. Enjoy! KotOR Switch Texture Restoration The Switch port of KotOR included some upscaled textures for much of the game. While some of these look fine, I found some of the armor and character portraits pretty bad to look at. I'm not sure why, but these were not advertised or mentioned, and there is no way to turn them off in game. This mod restores the original textures for the character portraits, armor textures, while preserving the new UI and button prompts. Please notify me if anything is broken or you run into issues. I played about an hour with this mod, but it has by no means been exhaustively tested. It should not cause any major or game-breaking issues though. This is compatible with, but does not require my KotOR Switch Modding Framework, if you wish to use this with other mods that change textures, install this first. NOTE: Like any other mod for Switch, this requires a hacked or modded Switch with custom firmware. This can probably be adapted to firmwares other than Atmosphere, but I offer no support for them. Installation is dead simple, extract the "atmosphere" folder to the root of your SD card. If you wish to uninstall: If this is the only mod you installed: Simply delete the "0100854015868000" folder under atmosphere/contents/ If you installed other mods, it will depend. I would generally recommend just wiping clean for safety, or if you didn't install any other texture mods, you could delete just the "Textures" folder in override. Big thanks to JC for a ton of help with this mod.

Have you ever noticed that Mira's poofy hair looks like a split top dinner roll? Her hairstyle in the concept art is wonderful and I always felt that her head model just kind of missed the mark. So I made some seriously heavy edits to the model and texture of PFHC05 until I came up with something a little more fitting for our friendly neighborhood bounty hunter. Her clothes have new colors to match the new vibe she's got going on also, and I reworked the neckline of her shirt a little. No .2da files in this so it's just a drag and drop installation. --corpsecotillion

You can run the included TSL patcher to quickly add the relevant rows to appearance.2da and put the models/textures into your Override folder, but they are not placed anywhere in the game. PERMISSIONS: This modders resource is free to use in any mod you produce and release, provided that relevant credit is given. Submitter Marius Fett Submitted 05/11/2022 Category Modder's Resources

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Authors: N-DReW25, Effixan and Constantinople33 1.0.0 Release Date: 08.05.2022 Installation: 1) Install JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1 FIRST! (No exceptions!!!): https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1758-jcs-fashion-line-i-cloaked-hybrid-robes-for-k1/ 2) Install Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin SECOND!: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2019-effixians-qel-droma-robes-reskin-for-jcs-cloaked-jedi-robes/ 3) Open the "For Override" folder and copy the files within to your swkotor Override folder and select the "Overwrite" option when it pops up. Description: March 11th 2021 saw the release of the Lore-Friendly Qel Droma Robes by Constantinople33 which was a 2K resolution reskin of the vanilla K1 Jedi Robe texture to make the Qel-Droma Robe item look more like the canonical Robe as worn by Qel-Droma in the Kotor Comics. I personally thought the skin looked AMAZING with its extensive detail, but at the time I used JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe mod so I took no heed to the mod as both mods were incompatible. But upon looking into JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robe mod, I realized that it would be possible to "merge" Constantinople33's work with one of JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe skin to make a "Hybrid" robe. At first, I was intending to use Salk's Qel-Droma Robe texture (which was uploaded by StellarExile) as the Cloaked texture of my Hybrid mod, but after my initial work on the Hybrid Robe the modder Effixan published his own take on a unique Qel-Droma Cloaked Robe. From what I can tell, Salk had requested Effixan to professionally make his version of Qel-Droma's Cloaked Robe using Salk's work as an inspiration... as such, after getting permission from Constantinople33 and the fact Effixan stated in his readme that users can use his Qel-Droma Robe with credit, I have merged the Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robe with Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin mod. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there any please report them on Deadlystream.com Incompatibilities: Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed Republic Soldier texture with the new shade-specularity tweaked version. # Background # The way I see it; the vanilla and/or already present Republic Soldier texture lacks some shading and reflection particularly on its trim, so I thought adding ones would somehow enhance its appearance. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are 6 options of new shade and specularity tweaked Republic Soldier texture in TPC format: [Main] New Shade for Male NPC Republic Soldier [Option-1] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female * [Option-2] Vanilla Version Model - Female NPC Republic Soldier [Option-3] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-4] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-5] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female NPC Republic Soldier * * Option 1, 3, 4 and 5 requires JCarter426/JC's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" to be installed first. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes any TGA/DDS and TXI instances of the relevant files [if there're any] from the 'Override' folder. Uninstallation: remove the installed files from the 'Override' folder or replaces them with the files stored in the 'Backup' folder [if generated] Compatibility: this option will be compatible with JCarter426's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" as long as this mod was installed after the said mod has. With any mods that is using the same name for the assets and/or potentially overwrite this mod, no compatibility is guaranteed Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to credit BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. 25. View File Beta Peragus Miner Pack A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 06.03.2022 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. It isn't recommended to install "Everyone a Beta Miner" and "Some Beta Miners" as EABM will change ALL the miners thus rendering SBM redundant. It is highly recommended you check out the "Description" section of the readme to ensure you've made an informed decision on what exactly you want to install. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: The Peragus Miner NPCs all wear the same old Miner Uniform item which the player gets to wear, but did you know that during the early development of Kotor 2 this wasn't meant to be? In the game files, you can find a texture which suggests that the Miner Uniform was originally based on the Czerka Uniform model whereas the current Miner Uniform is based on the Combat Suit model. The change from a Czerka Uniform to a Combat Suit based texture was probably to allow the player to wear the Miner Uniform without Obsidian being required to add a new 2DA slot. Oddly, the Maintenance Officer's Corpse placeable and the dead Peragus Miners floating in the Kolto Tanks also use the Czerka based Miner Uniform. From here on, we shall refer to the Czerka based Miner Uniform as the "Beta Miner Uniform". This mod has the following mod options: OPTION 1: Everyone a Beta Miner Everyone a Beta Miner will restore the Beta Uniform to EVERY single Peragus Miner NPC. This will not affect the Player's Miner Uniform. OPTION 2: Some Beta Miners This option will only restore the Beta Uniform for a select few Peragus Miners. The Medical Officer, the Administrator, the Dock Officer, the Maintenance Officer and the Security Officer will wear the Beta Uniform whereas every other Peragus Miner will wear the vanilla Miner Uniform. OPTION 3: No Player Heads Did you know notice how some Peragus Miner NPCs (Coorta's Thugs etc.) reuse the Player Heads? This install option will replace the Player Heads with Generic NPC Heads. This option is compatible with options 1 and 2. ADDITIONAL CONTENT: Inside the folder "Kolto Tank Miners (Optional)" is an additional mod you can install that doesn't require the TSLPatcher. The Kolto Tank Miners texture in vanilla is 256x256 in resolution, the texture consists of 4 parts (Several K1 Player Head and the Beta Uniform textures) which are all 128x128 in resolution. This additional mod will improve the Kolto Tank Miners but you, the player, can choose which option to install. Within "Kolto Tank Miners (Optional)" you shall find two subfolders called "Normal" and "Burnt". Within these two folders are several variations of Kolto Tank Miners you can choose from, the main difference between "Normal" and "Burnt" is that "Normal" will use the vanilla K1 Player Head whereas "Burnt" will use the K1 Dark Side Player Head textures. You, the player, can decide which looks better: the normal K1 Player Heads as Obsidian intended, or the Dark Side K1 Player Heads who look burnt/deceased inside the Kolto Tank. Both "Normal" and "Burnt" shall contain these 3 folders, these are the following options: OPTION 1: High Quality High Quality will be 1024x1024 in resolution, the Beta Uniform shall be its default resolution 512x512 whereas the K1 Player Heads will be upscaled via AI to be 512x512 like the Beta Uniform. OPTION 2: Normal Quality Normal Quality will be 512x512 in resolution, the Beta Uniform shall be reduced to 256x256 resolution to match the default K1 Player Heads resolution which is 256x256. This is twice the quality of the original Kolto Tank Miners and will still look good in-game. OPTION 3: Low Quality Low Quality will be 256x256 in resolution, the Beta Uniform and the K1 Player Heads will all be reduced to 128x128 in resolution. The "Burnt" option will be the only one to have any real difference in the Kolto Tank Miner texture, whereas the "Normal" Low Quality texture will have very minor changes to the Miner Uniform. Only recommended for very low end PCs. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if you find any report it to me on Deadlystream.com. Incompatibilities: * This mod is compatible with Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear mod- https://deadlystream.com/files/file/401-peragus-mining-gear/ If you intend to play with Kainzerous Prime's Peragus Mining Gear, it is recommended you do NOT install Option 1. Option 1 is compatible with the Peragus Mining Gear mod, however, Option 1 will make it so that the Mining Gear only appears on the player (Which isn't fun, I'd suggest using Option 2). * This mod is compatible with VarsityPuppet's Peragus Tweak- https://deadlystream.com/files/file/8-peragus-tweak/ If you intend to play with Peragus Tweak, it is recommended you do NOT install Option 1. Option 1 is FULLY compatible with Peragus Tweak, however, the Miner Corpses added from Peragus Tweak will NOT have the Beta Uniform. Report any incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
