  1. View File Restored Dantooine Textures Pack [K1] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 09.04.2022 Installation: Inside the "For Override" folder are 3 folders: "Bark", "Grass" and "Skybox". This mod is modular, meaning you don't have to install all 3 texture options if you don't want to. The Bark and Skybox folders will contain the tree and skybox textures, copy the files within Bark and/or Skybox and paste them into your Override folder. If you have an option to overwrite, then that means you have another mod which already modifies the Bark and/or Skybox texture and you'll need to choose whether or not to install the Bark and/or Skybox textures. Inside the Grass folder you will find the folders "Grass 1", "Grass 2", "Grass 3", "Grass 4" and "Grass 5". Each grass folder is a different mod, you should only install ONE grass mod! The screenshots on the mod page will show you WHAT each grass mod does, do keep in mind that some grass mods might do minimal changes and will require TWO texture changes whereas other grass mods might change the ENTIRE aesthetic of K1 Dantooine and will change up to FIVE textures. Just like the Bark/Skybox textures, simply select the grass mod you want and copy the files directly into your Override folder. Description: In K1, Dantooine has a few unusued textures for grass, trees and skybox. This mod will simply replace the vanilla textures with the unused textures, you have a few textures to choose from. 1) Tree: The Trees of Dantooine will sport a more realistic tree texture. 2) Skybox: This skybox appears to have been an incomplete draft by Bioware, do keep in mind that the "roof" of the Skybox does not exist in the game files and thus is missing from the mod. 3) Grasses: Up to 5 different grass textures exist in the game files meaning you can only install 1 grass mod (Please consult the Mod's Screenshots to see what each Grass mod does). Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is report it on Deadlystream.com. Incompatibilities: Will be incompatible with any mods which modifies the following files: "LDA_bark02.tga" "LDA_bark02.tpc" "LDA_bark04.tga" "LDA_bark04.tpc" "LDA_rock04.tga" "LDA_rock04.tpc" "LDA_graspatch01.tga" "LDA_graspatch01.tpc" "LDA_grass2.tga" "LDA_grass2.tpc" "LDA_grass07.tga" "LDA_grass07.tpc" "LDA_rock06.tga" "LDA_rock06.tpc" "LDA_sky001.tga" "LDA_sky001.tpc" "LDA_sky002.tga" "LDA_sky002.tpc" "LDA_sky003.tga" "LDA_sky003.tpc" "LDA_sky004.tga" "LDA_sky004.tpc" This mod uses the TGA texture format, meaning any TGA mods which use the same files will be overwritten by this mod. However, if you install TGA and TPC files of the same name together, it will probably crash your game so be sure to make sure none of these files are present in your Override folder. Do keep in mind, let's say if you install the tree and grass textures but NOT the skybox textures then you'll be able to use another skybox mod (And vice versa). Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks: Bioware: For such an amazing game Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool And everyone who downloads the mod! A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 12.03.2022 Installation: This mod requires the K1 Community Patch to work, install this mod first: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/ Once you have that mod installed, simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Description: Obsidian Entertainment made full use of the Female Republic Soldier assets when developing K2 by using them on the Harbinger, the Sojourn and on Citadel Station as TSF Officers. Despite Bioware being the company who created them, they are mysteriously absent from K1. This mod will restore Female Republic Soldiers across various locations where Republic Soldiers can be found, they can be found in the following locations: * Several females are located on the Endar Spire. * A female will be guarding Lorgal on Manaan (Requires the GenoHaradan missions in order for her to spawn). * Multiple females can be seen in the background of Admiral Dodonna's ship at the end of the game. I couldn't add many as Republic Soldiers aren't very common in K1 and I lack a female voice actress who would be able to voice the generic VO lines required for many Republic Soldier NPCs. In the event I do get an actress/actress' to record generic VO then I might be able to return to this mod and add a few more on Manaan. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Would be incompatible with any mods which modify "STUNT_50a.mod", "STUNT_51a.mod", "STUNT_54a.mod" or "STUNT_54a.mod". Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Special Thanks to: Bioware: For such an amazing game! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! 5. View File Beta Peragus Miner Pack A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 06.03.2022 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. It isn't recommended to install "Everyone a Beta Miner" and "Some Beta Miners" as EABM will change ALL the miners thus rendering SBM redundant. It is highly recommended you check out the "Description" section of the readme to ensure you've made an informed decision on what exactly you want to install. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: The Peragus Miner NPCs all wear the same old Miner Uniform item which the player gets to wear, but did you know that during the early development of Kotor 2 this wasn't meant to be? In the game files, you can find a texture which suggests that the Miner Uniform was originally based on the Czerka Uniform model whereas the current Miner Uniform is based on the Combat Suit model. The change from a Czerka Uniform to a Combat Suit based texture was probably to allow the player to wear the Miner Uniform without Obsidian being required to add a new 2DA slot. Oddly, the Maintenance Officer's Corpse placeable and the dead Peragus Miners floating in the Kolto Tanks also use the Czerka based Miner Uniform. From here on, we shall refer to the Czerka based Miner Uniform as the "Beta Miner Uniform". This mod has the following mod options: OPTION 1: Everyone a Beta Miner Everyone a Beta Miner will restore the Beta Uniform to EVERY single Peragus Miner NPC. This will not affect the Player's Miner Uniform. OPTION 2: Some Beta Miners This option will only restore the Beta Uniform for a select few Peragus Miners. The Medical Officer, the Administrator, the Dock Officer, the Maintenance Officer and the Security Officer will wear the Beta Uniform whereas every other Peragus Miner will wear the vanilla Miner Uniform. OPTION 3: No Player Heads Did you know notice how some Peragus Miner NPCs (Coorta's Thugs etc.) reuse the Player Heads? This install option will replace the Player Heads with Generic NPC Heads. This option is compatible with options 1 and 2. ADDITIONAL CONTENT: Inside the folder "Kolto Tank Miners (Optional)" is an additional mod you can install that doesn't require the TSLPatcher. The Kolto Tank Miners texture in vanilla is 256x256 in resolution, the texture consists of 4 parts (Several K1 Player Head and the Beta Uniform textures) which are all 128x128 in resolution. This additional mod will improve the Kolto Tank Miners but you, the player, can choose which option to install. Within "Kolto Tank Miners (Optional)" you shall find two subfolders called "Normal" and "Burnt". Within these two folders are several variations of Kolto Tank Miners you can choose from, the main difference between "Normal" and "Burnt" is that "Normal" will use the vanilla K1 Player Head whereas "Burnt" will use the K1 Dark Side Player Head textures. You, the player, can decide which looks better: the normal K1 Player Heads as Obsidian intended, or the Dark Side K1 Player Heads who look burnt/deceased inside the Kolto Tank. Both "Normal" and "Burnt" shall contain these 3 folders, these are the following options: OPTION 1: High Quality High Quality will be 1024x1024 in resolution, the Beta Uniform shall be its default resolution 512x512 whereas the K1 Player Heads will be upscaled via AI to be 512x512 like the Beta Uniform. OPTION 2: Normal Quality Normal Quality will be 512x512 in resolution, the Beta Uniform shall be reduced to 256x256 resolution to match the default K1 Player Heads resolution which is 256x256. This is twice the quality of the original Kolto Tank Miners and will still look good in-game. OPTION 3: Low Quality Low Quality will be 256x256 in resolution, the Beta Uniform and the K1 Player Heads will all be reduced to 128x128 in resolution. The "Burnt" option will be the only one to have any real difference in the Kolto Tank Miner texture, whereas the "Normal" Low Quality texture will have very minor changes to the Miner Uniform. Only recommended for very low end PCs. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if you find any report it to me on Deadlystream.com. Incompatibilities: * This mod is compatible with Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear mod- https://deadlystream.com/files/file/401-peragus-mining-gear/ If you intend to play with Kainzerous Prime's Peragus Mining Gear, it is recommended you do NOT install Option 1. Option 1 is compatible with the Peragus Mining Gear mod, however, Option 1 will make it so that the Mining Gear only appears on the player (Which isn't fun, I'd suggest using Option 2). * This mod is compatible with VarsityPuppet's Peragus Tweak- https://deadlystream.com/files/file/8-peragus-tweak/ If you intend to play with Peragus Tweak, it is recommended you do NOT install Option 1. Option 1 is FULLY compatible with Peragus Tweak, however, the Miner Corpses added from Peragus Tweak will NOT have the Beta Uniform. Report any incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks: DarthParametric: For making the Female Czerka Officer's Uniform - A Modder's Resource which the Medical Officer's Beta Uniform is based upon. ebmar: For providing help with the TSLPatcher Bioware: For such an amazing game Obsidian: For such an amazing sequel Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool Everyone who downloads the mod! Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: Over the years, I have released a lot of restoration and bug fix mods for TSL. Many of my those mods don't necessarily stand out as much as others mainly because the mod is so small and insignificant. A few years ago I released the Mini Mod Collection for TSL, a mod pack consisting of all of my small restoration and bug fix mods. Since the Mini Mod Collection's installation was modular, it might've been a pain to install the mod several times over just to get specific mods you wanted. This mod takes the bug fixes of the Mini Mod Collection and adds them as part of an install-once mod. The Mini Mod Collection will remain the same, except future bug fix mods will be added to THIS mod whilst restored content will be added to the Mini Mod Collection. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 08.02.2022 Installation: Alongside the "Readme.txt" file will be the following folders: "Movie Cutscene Mods" "Override Mods" "TSLPatcher Mods" * To install Movie Cutscene Mods, open the Movie Cutscene Mods folder and select which mod you'd like to install and simply copy the .BIK file into your swkotor "movies" folder and overwrite the original .BIK files. * To install Override Mods, open the Override Mods folder and select which mod you'd like to install and simply copy the files within the mod folder into your swkotor "Override" folder. You cannot install both Dark Jedi mods as they use the same files, please pick only one Dark Jedi mod to install. * To install TSLPatcher Mods, simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The NPC Xbox mods requires .MOD files to be installed properly, you can get .MODs by installing either K1R or the K1CP mod. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. * For Movie Cutscene Mods, open the "Backup (Vanilla Cutscenes) and copy the .BIKs inside to your swkotor movies folder and overwrite the Xbox .BIKs. * For Override mods, delete the files you copied into your Override. * For TSLPatcher mods, copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: As you may know, or may even remember, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was released on July 15 2003 whilst the PC edition was released on November 19 2003. Obviously, the original Xbox console from 2003 has gone out of fashion a LONG time ago and 95% of the Kotor Modding and Gaming Community in general have migrated over to the glorious PC Master- *Cough* I mean, to the PC. But did you know that Bioware gave Kotor one final improvement before releasing the full game to the PCs? if you've actually played Kotor on the original Xbox (Or maybe even the Xbox 360, Xbox One or even the Xbox Series X) then you'll recall how on the Console edition of Kotor had a variety of oddities like lower resolution textures, different appearances for NPCs, incorrect appearances for NPCs, alternative VO, bugs/glitches, Yavin 4 being locked behind DLC and more... This mod pack is similar to my TSL Mini Mod Collection mod, every update to the KOTOX will include more Xbox inspired mods for the player to install and experience. The 1.1.0 updates has reorganized the installation system, now the mods have been divided into TSLPatcher mods, Override mods and Movie Cutscene mods. The mods which require a TSLPatcher will be in the TSLPatcher mods folder whereas mods which don't need a TSLPatcher installation will be in the Override mods folder and finally the Movie Cutscene mods will contain the modded .BIK files which go into the "movies" folder instead of the "Override" folder. To see what the most current version of the mod includes, check the "Versions.txt" file in this package. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. KEEP THIS IN MIND: The Taris Xbox NPC's (and just about all the future Xbox NPCs) will make the NPC diversity much worse than it is on the vanilla PC version of Kotor, just imagine entire modules filled with 100% identical clones. The Taris Xbox NPC mod is almost entirely identical to how they appeared in the Xbox, so this mod is only recommended if you really want to see how the Xbox NPCs would look on the PC. If the demand is high enough for it, I might add a "Lite" version of the Xbox NPC mods which contains reasonable Xbox NPCs without the horrible cloning effect. Incompatibilities: Would be incompatible with any mods which modify the Taris Sith Raid dlg, the legal and Revan's death .BIKs and any Dark Jedi texture mods. It is NOT recommended to use the Taris Xbox NPC mod with the K1 NPC Overhaul mod. If you install this mod AFTER the K1 Community Patch then it will be compatible, however, the K1 Community Patch does make an effort to remove Lite NPCs and diversify NPCs so the Xbox NPCs mods will undo some of those changes (But won't crash your game). Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 30.09.2021 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The alien is HD by default, the "Different Resolutions" folder contains a backup of the HD texture, a texture which matches the same resolution as every other NPC in the game and a Lite texture which is a low-res texture which matches the other Lite NPCs. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: In the game files exists several "Lite" low-poly Alien NPC models, these are the Quarren (N_alien02_low), the Chadra-Fan (N_alien03_low) and the Gran (N_alien05_low). In the Taris section of the texture files exists a file called "LTS_Crowd01.tga" which most likely contains an early draft of the Duel Arena spectator crowd, on this texture exists two strange aliens, one which looks like a Gand and another which could only be described as a pink punk. In the model files, I found an unused model called "N_alien01_low" which lacked a texture but looked suspiciously like the pink punk from the crowd texture... this leads me to believe that the pink punk was going to be "N_alien01_low" whereas the Gand would've been "N_alien01_low". This mod gives "N_alien01_low" a texture and restores the NPC in several places in the game, you can find him on: * Dantooine as Kni * Manaan as a Shady Pazaak Dealer * Tatooine as the guy who gives you the Gizka I could've added this alien in more places, though I thought seeing the same low-poly Lite NPC over and over again would get old real quick. I might add this guy in more locations based on suggestions and popular demand. Whilst I am confident no Legends material has named this alien species YET... I have chosen a name for it. it's called a "Pyrath". This name was chosen by me, @N-DReW25, simply because this guy doesn't exist in either Star Wars Legends or Canon and in the words of Effix: it's simply a generic filler alien. I chose the name "Pyrath" as this species would be from the planet "Pyr" which is in same system as Manaan. By choosing this name, there might be a way to create some form of connection between Selkath and the "Pyrath" species. A remake of FrantFire's Nar Shaddaa Hidden Complex. It's been on KotorFiles a while, but I'm only getting around to uploading it here. ^^; IMPORTANT: TSLRCM INFO It SHOULD work with TSLRCM, but I make no promises. It also will not work with any GenoHaradan mods. Updated to 2.6b by: Darth_Tartatus on 12/15/12. Update to 3.0 started on 1/27/2013 by: Darth_Tartarus. Update to 3.1 on 5/17/2017 by Darth_Tartarus (though I normally go by DarthVitrial now) 1. Idea ======= One day I used Force Sight to the door next to Fassa in Nar Shaddaa docks area and when I opened it I found an interesting unused complex (I think it was supposed to be used for the GenoHaradan? -Darth_Tartarus), then I decided to use this area, somehow... 2. Info ======= This mod does the following: 1) Allows you to open one of two doors near Fassa (the Twi'lek in Nar Shaddaa docks). You will only be able to open one of these two sealed doors, and also access 2 closed doors at the Refugee landing pad area (I always wondered what was behind those doors); there you will find some sort of abandoned cantina. 2) It will spawn (add) a Twi'lek female in the Nar Shaddaa docks flophouse area, up to you find where, as well as some pretty nasty thugs somewhere. 3) It will make the alien Gran thug guarding Vogga's enclave entry door hostile, but only if you decide to kill the Bith guard near him. (I did this to give more realism to this easy fight, no sense having the Bith fighting you and the Gran thug by him just standing there). The Bith will be a little more challenging, too. So you will have a realistic fight with Vogga's guards now. This has nothing to do with the Complex mod itself but I included it anyway in this pack. (Only if you install the full version of this mod, not the Lite version) 4) (Optional): Improved and modified Vogga.dlg (he will realize you have killled his enclave door guards), plus reduced many long texts for short streamvoices, same problem fixed in Vogga's Bith dialog. (again, not with the Lite version.) 5) Two journal entries have been added for this mod. 3. How to play ============ You will need a saved game before arriving at Nar Shaddaa for the first time, if you do not have one and you have a saved game at the Refugee Landing Pad or the Promenade -and you have not entered the Docks area before- you can still open the doors near Vossk (the Trandoshan) at the landing pad by other means (you cheater), by using something along the lines of the WhereamI Armband. This way you can still initiate the mod. ONLY READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW exactly what to do, I personally suggest playing to figure out what to do. If you want to know how to open the docks doors you will need a special key, available in a lost pad inside the abandoned cantina in the Nar Shaddaa Refugee Landing Pad (this cantina was also unavailable in original game, by the way) and it is placed just behind Vossk. There may be some errors with TSLRCM because of the addition of the cantina. Without the key, the doors next to Fassa in the docking area will remain closed -showing as "Sealed door" in case you want to know- or if you do not find the key. Once opened the door, just enter and see... There is also a hard-to-open footlocker in the cantina. A Twi'lek woman has also been spawned in one of the flophouse's rooms, hiding for some reason. She will be behind a separating panel in the room next to Lasavvou (the Ithorian). Talk to her to find out why she's hiding, and to get a quest. Finally, to reach the Bith's dialog option to kill him, while talking to him about Vogga's fuel contracts take the branch "It's not safe to compete with me". Vogga won't be happy about you killing them, though... 4. Installation/Uninstallation ===================== To install: Simply run the TSLPatcher and choose an option. Those of you with TSLRCM should choose the no-Vogga version, for compatibility reasons. To uninstall; delete the following files from your Override folder (it's not necessary to delete the .lip files, they can be used later): n_compleadr.utc (the merc leader .utc) n_compthug2.utc n_compthug.utc n_compthug3.utc n_compthug5w.utc n_compthu4w.utc n_voggathu.utc n_voggathu3.utc n_voggathu4.utc n_voggathu5.utc n_voggadro2.utc n_voggadro6.utc twi_common.utc vogga_sullustan.utc c_pcfemundie.ncs (checks if a female PC is in her undies... hmm...) pc_perceived.ncs 2hostthugs.ncs c_act_exitaread.ncs c_act_exitareat.ncs give_compkey2.ncs spawnkey2.ncs spawn_hidden.ncs spawnthugs.ncs spawnthugs2.ncs spawnkey.ncs a_journalend.ncs give_compkey2.ncs c_bithdead.ncs a_bithdead.ncs a_mercsdead.ncs c_mercsdead.ncs a_destroyvt.ncs a_someoneund.ncs c_someoneund.ncs ff_nar_locker.ncs ff_nar_blood.ncs ff_nar_bag.ncs k_enter_301ff.ncs a_thugsdone.ncs c_thugsdone.ncs voggas_fade.ncs sealeddoor.utd doors_key.uti door_narshad015.utd ff_nar_bag.utp ff_nar_blood.utp ff_nar_locker.utp plc_doorskey2.utp ff_nar_datapad.uti 203merclead010.lip 402om_sc2005.lip 303lootra056.lip 402om_sc2005.lip and so on ... ev_crys_04.uti (don't delete if you have Envida's Khoonda Lost Loom mod or my updated version of the Lost Room mod) ev_crys_03.uti (item) iw_sbrcrstl_203.tga (don't delete if you have Envida's Khoonda Lost Loom mod or my updated version of the Lost Room mod) iw_sbrcrstl_204.tga (item) compledr.dlg droidwar_l.dlg humanvog_l.dlg attontwi.dlg trandos_l.dlg twicommon.dlg vogsull.dlg quello.dlg (in this file only added a script that spawns items in the line "What's with you, letting that piece...", named k_enter_301ff.ncs) 5. Recommended ============== Recommended level to access the docks door/s, 14, with 3 party members, nevertheless you can survive with upgraded gear, equipments, grenades or mines in your inventory, or simply running away from these mercenaries just in case you get there before those levels... Many people certainly download overpowered mods, I have seen a lot of them, armors and lightsabers specially. If you have installed this sort of mods you will have good chances of killing the mercenaries before level 14, as you can see I like to edit .uti's to reduce slightly weapons-armors stats for challenging fights. 6. New items or equipment ===================== Two lightsaber crystals only, actually not new items, just slightly reduced by me, powerful enough but only for 100% darkside or 100% lightside aligned Jedi, and you will be able to collect a few pre-existing game items from the corpses, if you succeed. 7. Credits: ========= Very special thanks to: Stoffe - for an On Notice script I used in the Complex area, being a guide many times at the Holowan labs. Darth Xander - for allowing me (all of us) to see this lost cantina -or whatever it is- through his original Nar Shaddaa lost cantina mod. Envida - for allowing me use and modify some files from Envida Khoonda Lost Room mod 1.3. And anyone else at the Holowan Laboratories - For all the great resources! And all the tool makers of course, those genius people Thanks from Darth_Tartarus: FrantFire-For letting me update this mod. 8. Compatibility ============== Since this uses TSLPatcher, it should work with most everything. As of 3.0 beta, it SHOULD work with TLSRCM. No promises though. And it does NOT work with any GenoHaradan mods. 9. Experience won ============== If you are not a fan of gathering too many experience points (XP) through all the mods you install, then you might like to know that you will only gain 1500 XP points or so with this mod after dealing with the mercenaries, if you kill all of them, plus Vogga's Gran thug. (1250+250 the Gran thug). You can subtract some XP through KSE (KotOR/KotOR2 Savegame Editor) if you want. 10. Bugs ========= Using something like the WhereamI Armband to enter the Complex through both doors triggers the Complex Leader attack twice. Beating him twice also allows you to claim the prize from the Twi'lek twice. So, kinda a useful bug! 11. Permissions ============ You can use freely this mod files, just give me the correspondent credits in case you use or modify some of these files. 12. 12.
