    NPC Diversity Pack [K1] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.7.0 Beta Release Date: 27.11.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND (This mod is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work)! Simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, you'll see 4 installation options... if you'd like the full content of what this mod has to offer you'll have to install the mod 4 times. If you have any questions regarding these 3 installs and what they add, feel free to ask me! Description: As with many modders, I have a vision for a comprehensive NPC Overhaul. This mod is currently in a BETA stage, whilst I don't expect bugs, I do expect player criticism/feedback alongside reports of possible mod conflicts with certain mods... updates will be released to fix any possible bugs, add popular player suggestions, possible hotfixes for incompatible mods and new content as they become possible. What does this mod do? This mod is a compilation of 3 mods: Diverse Galaxy, Diverse Weapons, Sounds O' Plenty. These 3 mods can be used together to create an immersive NPC Overhaul which is compatible with the K1 Community Patch. What are these 4 mods? Diverse Galaxy: This mod is the main component of the NPC Overhaul! It switches the heads of many NPCs in the game to prevent the 'clone' effect, it swaps the clothing/armors of many of the NPCs throughout the Kotor galaxy and it upgrades the Lite NPCs. Sounds O' Plenty: Sounds O' Plenty does something not many mods have done in the past, in the vanilla game the soundset (combat grunts and death moan sounds) of an NPC is based upon their appearance so Jedi have a Jedi soundset, Czerka Guards have a Czerka Soundset, Dark Jedi have a Dark Jedi soundset etc. This mod ignores that Kotor "rule" and gives random soundsets for over 200 NPCs in the game, that means you'll only hear the Republic Soldier death moan ONCE on the Endar Spire as each NPC now has their own unique sound. Diverse Weapons: Another thing most mods don't usually do is replace the weapons of NPCs on a mass scale, with Diverse Weapons the NPCs you fight will have new weapons. This does NOT mean they will drop those weapons, it just means you won't be fighting 100 Vulkar Thugs who all use Blaster Pistols like in the vanilla game... they might use Rifles, Carbines, Heavy Repeaters, Ion Weapons, Sonic Weapons, Bowcasters and MORE! This might make the game slightly more challenging as you might not know if a random enemy will use a Disruptor Pistol which can bypass Energy Shields. GIT Tweak: GIT Tweak modifies the GIT files of some modules to remove duplicate NPCs. In some areas, you might see a generic NPC 10 times in a row. This is because this NPC's UTC filename is used 10 times over in various locations throughout the module, GIT Tweak fixes that by adding new NPCs in places where vanilla NPCs are duplicated. Instead of seeing the same NPC 10 times, you'll see that NPC once alongside 9 new commoner NPCs ensuring that every NPC in that module is unique! With these 4 mods together, over 400 NPCs will be affected (including NPCs which are commonly affected by other mods). This is why it is HIGHLY advised to install this mod (AFTER the K1CP mod) BEFORE you install any new appearance mods. If you do this, your new NPC appearance mods will overwrite the NPC-DP mod's changes thus allowing you to have other people's mods installed with my NPC-DP mod still impacting 75% of the generic NPCs found in the game.   2. View File K1 Better Twi'lek Male Heads This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I, most notably the addition of ear geometry. Both the ear meshes and textures included in this mod are modified ports from SWTOR, which improve ear shape and texture quality. Additional improvements include better smoothing groups, non-clipping teeth and eyelids, and recolored tongues. There are two options for installation. Option A models feature "slim" necks, while Option B models retain unaltered "blubber" necks. I highly recommend the first option as it fixes clipping with heavy armor collars, but feel free to choose the second if you prefer that look. There are no other differences between the two. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod is a nice visual improvement, and the addition of ear meshes keeps consistency with other head models in the game. There's also a KOTOR II version available here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files from either the Option A folder or Option B folder to the Override folder located in your game's directory. Then, drag files from the Textures folder to the Override folder as well. If you're updating from an older version, make sure to delete any TGA and TXI files of the same names beforehand. Only place the twilek_m05 files in your Override folder if you have the KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed. Otherwise, they won't do anything. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's Override folder. There's a list of files included in the download's readme.txt for reference. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod will not be compatible with any retextures for Twi'lek male heads. This mod is compatible with both the K1 Community Patch and K1 NPC Overhaul Mod. Either or both of those must be installed prior to installing this. This mod is incorporated into N-DReW's K1 Gameplay Improvement DEM, so separate installation is unnecessary.     A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 18.06.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe and you'll be given 4 installation options. Each option will install 1 head (a single option may come with 2 heads depending on which one you pick) so pick which head you'd like, if you want all the heads you'll have to install the mod 4 times. Click the option you'd like to be directed to that options installation menu, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Repeat the process for any other heads you'd like to install! Description: Kotor 2 has a few popular heads which were cut from the final game, they include: Saedhe's unique head, Hussef's unique head and the "Jedi Master 4" head which was used for Kaevee. Whilst these heads were restored in TSLRCM, no such restoration of unused heads exists for K1... until now! This mod will present up to 5 restored faces which you will see across the Kotor galaxy, they include: 1) "Sith Apprentice 1 Head": In-game, the armored Sith Apprentice's use the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head variant whilst the 1st head variant is neglected. As only a texture exists for this head, I had to modify this head's texture to hide the mapping for the scar which is present for the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head but not this one. This new Sith Apprentice head is used by the Taris Sith Govenor, the Dark Jedi in the Manaan Hangar, the Dark Jedi Master trio in the Leviathan Command Deck and the Lehon Sith Master. 2) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is a variant of the classic Batu-Rem generic head with a dirty, scratched up reskin. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 3) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is a variant of the generic head used by Sarna with a dirty, scratched up reskin to match the male variant. This skin is special as it was never included in either the PC or the XBOX versions of Kotor, so how did I get my hands on this texture? When Aspyr released Kotor for the Nintendo Switch, they accidentally replaced the generic blonde white female head with this dirty head variant instead, resulting in characters like Ice using this head texture instead of their usual blonde head. To restore this head for it's intended purpose (as a dirty head variant), I had the texture ripped from the Switch and ported to PC. From my observation, the Nintendo Switch version of Kotor uses an upscaled version of the XBOX textures upgrading their textures from 256x256 (the standard XBOX quality) to 1024x1024 resolution (This is why the graphics on the Nintendo Switch look so strange). The skin included in this mod has been downsized to 256x256 to match the texture quality of the male head variant which WAS included in the PC game files. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 4) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHMA01 player head. As of right now, this head will be used by Tanis Venn! Why Tanis? Well, his unique appearance isn't really that 'unique'. His vanilla appearance uses the generic Tatooine Asian male head with a smuggler's jacket, by giving Tanis this previously unused head it makes Tanis' appearance a proper 'unique' appearance. 5) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHFA02 player head.   5. Hi everyone. I wanted to share an idea/project where I'll attempt to port 2 (1 male, 1 female) head models for SWKotOR head mods. The first head will be David "Section" Mason from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II. And the second head will be Chloe "Karma" Lynch, also from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II. Currently, I only obtain David "Section" Mason's model and have not disassemble his head yet. Wish me luck and encouragement my friends.

  9. Greetings, fellow Jedi! In current TSL playthrough I'm looking forwards to use PFHH01 head model as the PC's head appearance. Everything looks right not until I saw her facial animation particularly with single-wield ready stance for melee weapon, as seen in the screenshot below -- It's with the mouth if anyone's wondering. Also don't mind the small dot on her forehead, it's just something on the texture I added, hahah. - while it also appear on the character-menu there. But apparently it looks differently with dual-wield; it's looking pretty normal, and I suspect [or wish] that's how it should have looked in the first place. Therefore, if I'm about to fix that, where should I start? I thought it was about the animations in the head model and were thinking about copy-pasting the dual-wield to single-wield but apparently that's not the case.   11. Would anyone be willing to do a head replacer for Mira that utilizes DarthParametric's Kira Carsen head but retains Mira's default appearance in her armor/clothing? I have the same outfit on Kira in SWTOR from the Cartel Market, so I wanted to see if this was something possible to do in K2.
  12. So I've run into a bit of an issue. I'm working on a mod to overhaul Taris's NPCs for immersive purposes and the one area I'm having trouble is attempting to give Holdan a unique head.   13. I'm aware that this topic was already broached two years ago, but I feel that necroing a single comment thread is in bad taste. Instead, i'd like to request parity between the genders of player characters and request a female Pureblood Sith player head. I've Identified 3 potential heads that I feel are the best options, namely Samara Breesh (the merchant on Corellia), Sathel (the Korriban Academy instructor), and Ladra (the Revanite on Dromund Kaas). My personal preference leans towards Ladra, but feel free to port whichever you feel most comfortable with/prefer.

    This mod brings detail to the next level! Add a more 3-D feel with aging and realistic skin! So like all my mods, I add some age to the character - wrinkles around the eyes, nose, forehead, laugh lines. I increased the sharpness in game and this make a huge difference. The hair looks a lot better than VANILLA... she differently looks older! (But not as old as that witch!) The reason for this is she was a Jedi so probably 20 years old if not older then roughly 10 years traveling around space puts this one at 30 or older. (I think older.) Oh yeah, let me say that this re texture and the modifications I made are a big step up from my two re-textures! If you're going to download a skin, please down this! I worked my butt off and I learned a lot of new things along the way. This is truly a PASSION project. THIS IS A MANUAL INSTALL. I also added a dark side transition but they are not as detailed as the base face if this gets downloaded enough, I'll add the aging to the dark side. Thank you for all the support and the downloads. I really hope you enjoy this skin. I'm personally doing a brand new play through.

    Used some photoshop skills to Increase the shadows, to the make face have even more of a 3D feel. I also added some wrinkles, subtle line around eyes and eye corners . Also to add some aging I added some laugh lines.

    This is just a simple reskin I made for personal use that I thought turned out kind of nice! I edited the fourth female Asian head option's texture to have darker hair, a white and gold ribbon instead of a dark orange one, darker and more brown eyes, thicker eyebrows, and a more natural lip color. I didn't include reskins of this head's dark side transitions.
