This mod replaces all the saber icons [Mantle of the Force, Heart of the Guardian and Malak's Lightsaber included] with the all new Cool Saber Icons. -= BACKGROUND =- When I switch around the lightsabers on the equip-list menu I had noticed that the blue lightsaber icons wasn't blue enough -- it was more purple than blue for this eyes, so I decided to make it blue, similar to the blade's color. The color of the icons were inspired by JCarter426's "JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects", the K1 version in particular. In the end not only the color that was changed, but the overall style of all the icons as well. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 22 new Cool Saber Icons in TPC format -- covering all the available [saber] icons [including the unobtainable Malak's] in vanilla game. Preview -- As in v2.0.0 the hilts were rendered using VarsityPuppet's "Hi Poly Tin Cans" [ported to K1 by Fallen Guardian] enhanced by DarthParametric's "Alternative Textures". DP did the neat work as well on rendering them for me to repurpose as icons. As for the background bits I used and combined the TOR assets ported and provided by Magnetiicz. -- provided as well user-friendly TGA/DDS/TXI cleaner and mod-uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= FINAL REMARKS =- As it stands now Malak's Lightsaber is unobtainable in-game in a regular way. However, you can use cheat-console then type for giveitem g_w_lghtsbr06 to get one. I planned on allowing players to obtain one in-game sometimes in the future -- probably with the next update. There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! -= INSTALLATION =- Be sure to check for _CLEANLEFTOVERS folder first and read the Readme for further required actions When you're sure and ready -- hit the [Install Mod ->] button! -= UNINSTALLATION =- Available in the _UNINSTALL folder -- be certain to read the Readme first! -= COMPATIBILITY =- Is NOT compatible with mods that share the provision; doing same thing, same assets, etc. -= REDISTRIBUTION =- I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions -- so be considerate to not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. This mod adds fancy VFX and SFX alignment change both to the dark side and light side in two available style; TOR and TSL. -= BACKGROUND =- Not much of a background -- just my curiosity fueled with @DarthParametric's invaluable insights and assistance trying something never been done [at least to release stage until this mod was attempted] and documented previously to K1 based on its successors; The Sith Lords and The Old Republic. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- TOR style -- adds IN-cutscenes VFX and SFX based on TOR's TSL style -- adds POST-cutscenes VFX and SFX based on TSL's TOR style no SFX -- adds ONLY IN-cutscenes VFX based on TOR's TSL style no SFX -- adds ONLY POST-cutscenes VFX based on TSL's * Preview [v1.0.1] -- To its VFX base it's using ported TSL models and texture [for the dark side ones] provided by DarthParametric. As for the SFX, I had them ported from TSL -- originally comes as mus_s_darkshort and mus_s_lightshort. -- provided as well user-friendly uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= KNOWN ISSUES =- TOR style -- at some potential cases [depending on how the cutscenes were set up] the SFX and/or VFX won't show up if the camera/frame far-off from the Player. In SFX's case -- because Players' presence on-screen's needed as they're the medium for the SFX output TSL style -- as using a spawned placeable's OnHeartbeat [which checks for and] to trigger the VFX and SFX for ONLY every ~3 seconds, they will not fired instantly. Delays are to be expected with this one. Also, as I didn't include ratio check to DS and LS gains sometimes you'll see LS status with DS' VFX/SFX and vice-versa. That often happens if there are multiple alignment sets in one continuous cutscenes There are module-specifics scripts that alter the alignment which is outside the scope of this mod -- at least at this current stage. With that in mind sometimes you won't see the mod's working although there are alignment change's happening -= FINAL REMARKS =- There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. This mod replaces Force Powers' SFXs in the SW:KotOR game with the modded version's SFXs. # Background # To tell the truth, I am pleased with the original Force Powers' SFX but it's just- I want to experience something different- something fresh; and the project was started then. # About this Mod # Inside this version are 7 modded Force Powers' Sound FXs; some based on in-game vanilla assets, and some others are modifications from Shem's "Ultimate Sound Mod"; which he gave permission for anyone whom wants to use the work he have done in a future mod, to just give him credit for what they have used. So, they are: Force Use [v_useforce] - Sound FX produced first when using Force Powers [noticeably heard with Force Cure, Force Heal, Force Armor, Force Aura, and Force Energy Resistance]. Force Lightning [v_pro_lightning] - Sound FX produced when using Force Lightning. Force Death Field [v_pro_deathfeld] - Sound FX produced when using Force Death Field. Force Wave [v_imp_frcwave] - Sound FX produced when using Force Wave. Force Choke [v_imp_choke] - Sound FX produced when using Force Choke. Force Throw Lightsaber [v_throw] - Sound FX produced when using Throw Lightsaber. Force Destroy Droid [v_pro_droidkill] - Sound FX produced when using Force Destroy Droid. This mod can be installed anytime and/or anywhere on the game, and will have direct effect to the game. Shem's Terms of Use: # Final Remarks # I suggest you to install Shem's "Ultimate Sound Mod" [first] along with JCarter426's "JC's K1 Sound Effects" [second], and then sync them with this mod [third]. After all this time, I still believe that Shem's "USM" is still the most enjoyable SFX mod. And later, JCarter426's "K1 SFXs" complete Shem's. And this mod aims to complete the Force Powers' part. Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- PM me at deadlystream.com [ebmar] or just write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: Run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe]. Uninstallation: Run the "Optional: Vanilla Force Powers' SFXs" option from the installer directory. As only for the Force Throw Lightsaber [v_throw], you must uninstall it manually by removing the said file from the 'Override' folder. Compatibility: There are 5 assets that will not compatible with Shem's, they are; Force Choke [v_imp_choke], Force Wave [v_imp_frcwave], Force Destroy Droid [v_pro_droidkill], Force Lightning [v_pro_lightning], and Force Throw Lightsaber [v_throw]. Install this mod after Shem's if you want that change. Redistribution: Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website at all. As inside this mod, there are base assets which they are not belongs to mine. If you plan on using this mod or only the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, give credits to Shem, BioWare and LucasArts; as this mod contains their assets. Also, a credits to my name is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: Shem for the collaboration between the "Ultimate Sound Mod" assets with mine's. This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. # Background # It was one fine evening when I take a walk inside the Elder's Settlement. I wonder how them droids sounds like, and then... why do they sounded like T3? So I wanted to experience something else, then I remember back in the Ancient Ruins of Dantooine there was a similar droid there that has something different with it. Apparently it was speaking Rakatan's language that the PC did not recognized. I decided that I had to incorporate that with the droid then, hence the making of this mod. # About this Mod # This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. The sound was made using an inverted Rakatan's voice-over with added droid-like filters on top of it. By concept it gave an idea that the droids were speaking an epitome of language that the PC did not understand [in Bastila's voice], resulting in addition of changing the spoken line of the droids. It also changes the bubble-bark conversation to a cinematic one. For a distinctive look at what the mod does, here is the preview - # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements; critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu Additionally you may want to remove eb_elderdrd_ANGM.wav from the streamwaves folder Compatibility: For maximum compatibility, install this mod at the latter stage of your mod's build Will not be compatible with any mods that hard-overwrite the Elder Settlement/unk_m42aa module Pay attention to the patcher's warning messages upon installing the mod. If it tells you that it found an instance of k_hdroid1_dialog.dlg and unk42_elddroidXYZ.utc in the Override folder, then there might be a compatibility issue indeed For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Elder Settlement [unk_m42aa] module The mod is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version Redistribution: do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them the enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this lil' peasant work here is also a very warm welcome, welcome. Please note this is a CUSTOM FAN INTERPRETATION of the Revelation cutscene, it is not 100% faithful to the original BIK and features the use of visual mods. File Name: "DV's The Revelation Cutscene Remake V.1" Author: Darth Varkor Works for: Knights of the Old Republic I K1 Restoration Compatibility: Yes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: For a while, I have been thinking about re-creating various BIK cutscenes within the games, not just for my own personal machinima-related use, but to upload for public use as a mod. Now, as I am fairly limited to what I can do (in-game scripting and some basic animation in After Effects) I lack the skills in software such as 3DSMax to fully recreate some cutscenes such as the various ones of the Ebon Hawk taking off and landing on the various worlds. Anyway, I decided to first have a stab at the infamous 'Revelation' cutscene, providing my take on the scene, capturing all footage in-game. The cutscene plays out fairly similiarly to how the original does, but, with some of my own alterations/additions. Any constructive feedback is welcome. Installation: Simply drag the BIK file provided and drop it in the "Movies" folder located within your SWKotOR directory. You should probably make a back-up of the original movie in-case the mod fails to work for whatever reason, or in case you simply prefer the original cutscene. Uninstallation: Remove the BIK file and replace it with the original. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video demonstration of the mod. Mods used in this cutscene: XediiXarwarz - Dantooine 2012 Reskin XediiXarwarz - Taris 2012 Reskin Oldflashi - K1 Movie Style Hilts JC's Lightbaber Visual Effects Sithspecter & jonathan7 - Darth Revan's Robes Revisioned CarthOnasty - Star Map Revamp V.1 Kexikus - High Quality Stars and Nebulas starforge1 - Darth Malak Reskin Pack *I do NOT give permission for this mod to be re-uploaded without my consent.* Contact Info: DeadlyStream.
  12. Sarna was a Sith officer on Taris when Darth Malak ordered a bombardment. If Calo Nord survived, why not her? I wanted to create a mod in which she survives and will help fight the Sith who nearly killed her. She would get new armor and wait on Tatooine. When Bastila is captured, the soldier would take the place of the Jedi. My modeling skills are not enough to create a unique helmet and suit of armor for her of an earlier style (see picture), which I believe is similar to Sith armor, and I cannot create dialogue trees. I have never had success with the type of scripting for such a mod, and I want a brief interaction with Sarna (player surprise that a Sith officer is on Republic-held Tatooine, Sarna explaining) before she joins the others aboard the Ebon Hawk. I need help with this.
  13. I have a tendency to collect Lightsabers, both in real life from SaberForge and Ultrasabers, and in my Kotor 2 (and sometimes 1) override folder. I have pretty much all of Jorn's hilts, Holowan designs, etc., but I really love the standalone hilt mods out there like the Valorous Knight's Lightsaber or the Kyle Katarn hilt. So would anyone be willing to drop any Saber Hilt mods in this thread that I might be able to add to my Override for either game? Really it can be anything, so long as it's something you made that you don't mind someone else using in their game. Thank you!

This mod adds a new tomb to the Valley of the Dark Lords - the tomb of Azgath N'Dul. You will find it between the tombs of Ajunta Pall and Tulak Hord. A couple of robes will come out funny if you are using oldflash's Final Touch - The Chatos Robes, the Sith Lord Robes and the Robes of Azgath N'Dul. This is because of a model change that mod introduces. They won't crash your game, but they will look a bit odd. This mod adds: ten new robes, three new armours, four new weapons, two weapons I've released separately before, a new belt, a new pair of gloves and a new Force Power, not to mention many other items that can be created by the Force Transmutation Device. I've tried to keep the stats fairly balanced, but that's by my judgment. N.B.: Robes included in this mod may not be compatible with robe mods which you have installed. Please be sure to download kyrie's changes.ini fix before installing this mod (click here), and then the 2.2 patch.

About This File Knights Of The Old Republic II: [THE SITH LORDS] ================================================ Author: MetaBee Name: K2 Improved Gameplay Mod v2.5 Description: This mod aims to improve the game play, as well as to fix incorrect parameters within certain 2da file rows. For example, the saving throws of all the Prestige Classes are actually incorrect, or either unfinished. This mod will fix that. It also aims to balance out combat, influence - skills ect. This mod makes it possible, to now reach higher LvL's in the game before you finish. Its possible to reach LvL 40 now, and maybe 50," Provided one does all bonus quests as well as take all advantages off XP opportunities. In the OG game, even if you do so, you will only make it to 30 -32 "Without Exploiting". Bearing in mind i'm including TSLRCM. How does this work ? Simple, you will accumulate more XP from killing hostiles, as well as require less XP to Lvl up. The balance to this, is that your enemies will now be stronger, have more HP, and will be overall better to combat with. Note: Lvl's will appear to be fast, especially in the beginning - however a grand total of 880 000 XP is Required to reach Lvl 50. For more details, see ReadMeDetails.txt located in the mod. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I highly recommend getting Stoffe's Improved Ai Mod, In conjunction With My Mod. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Compatible: This Mod, is compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.5 Incompatible: With any files that conflicts with these files. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Install: Run the Tslpatcher, and point it to your Knights of The Old Republic II Games Directory. This mod presents you an overhauled version of Lyn Sekla; a female Twi'lek who wanted desperately to get off Taris. In 3956 BBY, she heard that Bib Surool was stuck on Taris due to the Sith quarantine, and auditioned for him as a dancer. # Background # "But if you're ever traveling the galaxy and you see the Starlight Entertainers performing, stop by and ask for Lyn. I'll see if I can get you some free tickets". Spoiler-alert!: Actually, there's no correlation between the above statement and this texture overhaul, sorry for that lol. This overhaul was started because when surfing through mod's section in DeadlyStream, I saw an amazing Twi'lek's texture by @Dark Hope that leads me to think "Ah, this could be something!", and when I saw the description, DH also seems to wish that the texture could be utilized as a character for a story. So, I made up my mind to use the texture for Lyn Sekla; which I believe she would need a custom-unique appearance upstaging the rest of female Twi'lek's in the planet. The Force works right through me; I have the permission to use the assets from DH, and then the project was started then. # About this Mod # Significant change to the appearance of Lyn Sekla, using the base texture of "Girl with Ritual Tattoos", a high-quality texture mod created by Dark Hope which later I have them edited to fits this concept of the 'Legends' series of Lyn Sekla. [Updated in v1.0.1] # Final Remarks # Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- PM me at deadlystream.com [ebmar] or just write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: Run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe]. Uninstallation: Remove n_twilekf001.utc [and the rest of the textures files, if you wish] from the 'Override' folder. Compatibility: Will not compatible with mods that changes the value nor conflicted with n_twilekf001.utc. This mod will be compatible with Dark Hope's "Girl with Ritual Tattoos" as this mod use different variation for the textures and the model that will not conflicted with the said mod. There is an update from @DarthParametric whom has found one other instance of n_twilekf001.utc in the game which potentially can caused multiple appearance of "Lyn Sekla". So, where the other instance is? The good news is, the mod probably in an OK state now. 🤞 Redistribution: Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website at all. As inside this mod, there are base assets which they are not belongs to mine. If you plan on using this mod or only the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, I would be thankful if you give credits to Dark Hope as the creator of the base texture. Also, a credits to my name is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: Dark Hope for permission and for the "Girl with Ritual Tattoos" mod. DarthParametric for past-present knowledge, that made it possible for me to create custom NPCs. DarthParametric, again; out of the goodness of his heart looking through every damn module in the game to find one other instance of n_twilekf001.utc which potentially can caused multiple appearance of the texture. BioWare & LucasArts for the 'Game of the 21st Century'. All streamers on DeadlyStream which indirectly involved on this project that I couldn't possibly mentioned one by one. 20. Most have likely seen my questions and work regarding creating a new character for recruit. Many mods use the tag and reference of an existing character in the template/.utc file. I thought this would overwrite the existing character. How do I create recruit function script to replace a character removed from the party by the game? The only instance I can find of this in the game is losing Trask Ulgo on the Endar Spire and adding Bastila Shan. Trask and Bastila use the same character slot on the party select screen. I have looked at most script files, but I need help in finding a way to add the character to replace Bastila after she is captured on the Leviathan. I do not understand tutorials on destroying the original NPC, and the scripting tool will not recognize the path to my current version of KotOR. My character, template n_sarna, name Sarna, tag Sarna021, Template ResRef tar02_sarna021, spawns on Tatooine following asking the Customs Officer "What do I get for my 100 credits?". Sarna carries a Mandalorian Blaster, and I have assigned dialogue with some voice refs, with a node assigned script to recruit her, but I cannot compile recruit script to add the party member, template p_sarna, which adds a version of her wearing armor. I am trying to create new armor, but, currently, she wears Republic soldier armor. Following checking other mods, my scripting tool stated it could not compile, then stated it had the path set to Program Files/LucasArts/SWKotOR, and could not initialize NwnStdLdr. This creates difficulty. I do not know how to change path.
  21. Most tutorials related to adding party members have script for another party member to be replaced. As I have been working to add a party member to, following her capture aboard the Leviathan, replace Bastila, I have been looking at game scripts. I cannot determine if Bastila is truly removed from the party. I must know this, as problems occur if a recruit mod removes a party member that has been removed previously. Further, there are script files that have positions and actions for party members on the Ebon Hawk (k_trg_partyinit.nss, k_pebn_pophawk.ncs). Is there a conditional that would allow me to place my character where Bastila was seated?

  23. I realize I have made similar requests, my first in 2015, but, as it appears my "Recruit Sarna" mod will work, I hoped someone could help modify and retexture armor to give Sarna unique armor. I believe, if the textures for the Republic officer uniform, the Republic soldier uniform, and Sith armor could be applied to the Sith uniform, or if the models can be merged, the uniform would appear similar to Republic armor from the Mandalorian Wars. I have been trying to create this. I attempted to modify the Republic soldier uniform by removing the shoulder guards and applying Republic officer textures, but the color maps differ, and I could not merge the different shoulder pads. Further, the Republic officer coat extends too far down, and the Republic officer uniform appears too bulky. I had problems similar when attempting to modify models for the Female Sith Apprentice and the base clothing for Juhani. Could someone help create this armor for Sarna? I can give more information.
  24. Whenever I extract dialogue to edit for my recruit mod, the text disappears when I attempt to go to the dialogue and edit. This occurred in 2015 and this has occurred when I attempt to check dialogue from other recruit mods. I have pre-recruit/recruit dialogue planned, but my tools fail when I attempt to save dialogue. Can someone help?
  25. View File KotOR Items in TSL It always bothered me that TSL changes textures and stats of weapons from KotOR. I have restored most ranged weapons and some armors. I will try to change more. Put the .uti files in your Override folder to have these items back. Submitter Neville Submitted 05/04/2021 Category Mods TSLRCM Compatible Yes
