Bodies Stay
By jonathan7
AUTHORS: SpaceAlex and jonathan7
EMAIL: contact via release thread at www.lucasforums.com- KotOR section
NAME: Bodies Stay (for K1)
VERSION: 1.0
CREDITS: Fred Tetra - a legend.
FILENAME: Bodies_Stay_K1.zip
FILE SIZE: Around 1MB Unzipped
DATE RELEASED: 06/02/2009
DESCRIPTION: This mod stops bodies from fading away. They will only disappear if you leave the module or load a savegame after killing a bunch of enemies.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Just click on “Install Mod” and select a folder in which KOTOR I is installed (not the Override folder).
COMMENTS: This mod most likely requires a good PC to keep the game running smoothly, but since corpses are static objects (means they don't require any processing power), all that you'll probably need is a graphic card that's less than 3 years old.
BUGS: There should be none, but if you happen to run into a corpse that *should* fade away (like the Terantanak) immediately after you "extract" the soul from it but does not, contact either myself or jonathan7.
PERMISSIONS: Give credit to Space Alex and j7 should you wish to use this in a mod
THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY

Four Force Powers
By InSidious
This mod adds four new, three-tier Force Powers to KotOR - Rage, Scorch, Revitalise and Floating Lightsabres. 1 is Light Side, 1 is Dark Side, and there are two Universal Force Powers.
You may recognise a few of these names from TSL or Jedi Academy, and that's because I have now recreated them for K1.
Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 13. Gives the user a bonus of +4 to Strength, +3 to Dexterity,+2 to Constitution for 20 seconds and a 50% speed bonus, while there is also a penalty of -3 to Intelligence, -2 to Wisdom, -1 to Charisma; after that the character's FPs are severely depleted, as are the character's VPs. Further, the penalties to Wisdom/Intelligence/Charisma remain, and the bonuses to Strength, Dexterity and Constitution are now penalties for 10 seconds.
Knight Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 16. Same as above, but the bonuses have increased to +4 STR, +4 DEX, +3 CON, and the penalty has increased to -4 STR, -3 DEX, -3 CON; the WIS/INT/CHA penalties remain the same.
Master Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 19. Same as above, but the bonuses have increased to STR +5, DEX +4, CON +4; the penalties remain the same.
Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 9. Allows you to restore to life any non-droid party member killed in combat, restoring 10 VPs.
Knight Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 12. Same as above, but will restore 20 VPs.
Master Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 15. Same as above, but will restore 30 VPs.
Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 9. Projects a spray of flame at the target, causing damage.
Knight Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 12. Same as above, but does twice the damage.
Master Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 15. Same as above Scorch, but does three times the damage.
Floating Lightsabres I: Universal power, available at Level 10. Spawns a single lightsabre, to help you in combat, which lasts for 20 seconds . Without giving too much away, this should remind people who've played TSL of the final battle...These sabres will be a different colour depending on your alignment if you are Light Side – blue for guardians, green for consulars, yellow for sentinels, or red if you are Dark Side.
Floating Lightsabres II: Universal power available at Level 13. Same as above, but spawns two lightsabres, which last for 30 seconds.
Floating Lightsabres III: Universal power available at Level 16. Same as above, but spawns three lightsabres, which last for 40 seconds.
Known Bugs:
-The floating lightsabres have humanoid shadows. Sorry, but this seems to be someting to do with the game engine itself...
-Some people - those with Radeon graphics cards, in particular - may run into some graphical issues - namely, the lightsabres appearing to have an all-black 'body'. I've tried to get rid of this effect, but have had no luck so far.
-For some reason, I occasionally have problems with the KotOR Tool .utc editor when I use this mod. This may just be a problem for
my system, though.

Proper Manaan Quest Endings
By Kexikus
About:
If you've ever played the dark path on Manaan without finishing all side quests before you might have noticed that while you can no longer complete them, they stay in your journal forever. This mod fixes that and ends them properly.
Installation:
Run ManQuestInstaller.exe and let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you might need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
Uninstallation:
(Read the whole instructions text before doing anything.)
Delete man_questend.ncs, man26_nilko.dlg, man26_pcexile.dlg and man26_shaelas.dlg from your Override folder. Those steps are enough to make sure, the mod is basically uninstalled. But if you want to get rid of it completely you'll also have to replace global.jrl in the Override folder and dialog.tlk in the swkotor root folder with the ones in the backup folder created during this mods installation. If global.jrl does not exist in your backup folder, simply delete the one in your Override folder. Be cautious however: If you installed another mod after this one, that alters one of those two files, replacing them might screw up this mod too!
Compabilitiy:
The only incompabilities I can think of are with mods that alter one of the dlg files this mod uses.

Bastila on Korriban - K1R Version
By Fair Strides
Bastila on Korriban - K1R Version
By Fair Strides
Description:
This is an old favorite of many players, and now we've simply made a K1R version that "meshes" better with the game.
Though I honestly don't see a difference that broke the old mod with K1R, I did think it could be done in a way that wasn't as jarring. In the old version, Bastila was selectable despite saying that she wouldn't be going.
In this version, you can choose to have her available or not. There are only two new player lines and no voice-less Bastila lines.
Installation:
Simply run the TSLPatcher and direct it to your KotOR 1 folder.
Uninstallation:
Delete the following files from your Override folder:
k_sup_galaxymap.ncs
fs_bast_disable.ncs
ebo_bast_vision.dlg
And replace the dialog.tlk file in your main KotOR folder with the dialog.tlk file in the backup folder made by the TSLPatcher.

Playable Sand Person
By redrob41
This will add a playable Sand Person Male to the game. He will have complete armours for all six classes, Jedi robes, Star Forge robes, and standard clothes. There are a total of seven models and 58 textures. The basis of these models and textures is the Sand People disguise (n_tusken.mdl & N_Tusken04.tga).
They have been modified to look as if he is wearing his favourite desert robe and back pack over top of the armour. The armour gauntlets fit over top of the sleeves of his robe, and the chest plate peeks out from the front opening. For some of the medium and heavy armours, he wears a jet pack, with controls on his chest strap (it is non-functional, but impressive looking).
The Jedi robes look like long jacketed versions of the standard robes, without any back pack.
The Star Forge armours are similar to the in-game set, but with the cape, belt, & hood all removed, and instead, a Tusken version of Revan's Mask. The LS version has a mask that is inspired by A'Sharrad Hett's helmet ("Emissaried to Malastare" comic). These final two armours are my favourites, because of the masks.

Enhanced Merchants
By Shem
Original Review on Filefront:
Well now this is a site for sore eyes, Shem the manager of this wonderful site has submitted to me a great looking mod that he should be very proud of. So have any of you guys lately ever though that maybe kotor was getting a little boring? Well this one will fix that, what is does is it makes 90% of the stores in Kotor 1 better. What I mean by that is they will now give you more useful items for your journey. This mod was inspired by Shem's thought of people who have mastered this game, they know how to get butt loads of credits but they really have nothing to spend them on. So this is where this one comes in.
My personal opinion of this mod is it is great, the idea is really a winner. Making more useful merchants in the game allows for more poeple to actually have what they need when they get stuck between a Dark Jedi and a hard place. So all in all I say this is on of the most well crafted mods that I have seen in a while. So to you Shem great job I think you did a wonderful job! Now to all of the people I have to say download this mod if you want to have an overall better game...and as always...Enjoy!
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Dantooine Training Lightsabers
By Kexikus
This mod replaces the longswords used during the training sequence with lightsabers, as it is seen in the movies that even younglings train with those.
The mod uses no scripts and you don't have to give yourself the lightsaber proficiency feat with KSE or something similar. Additionally you won't have the annoying humming sound present when simply replacing the training saber with a lightsaber.
Installation:
Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
Uninstallation:
Delete dan13_practice.uti from your Override folder. Then copy baseitems.2da from the backup folder created while installing this mod to your Override and replace the one that is already there. Skip this step if you installed any mods that also alter baseitems.2da after this one. This mod will not be fully uninstalled in that case but every effect it has on the game will be gone as intended. If there is no baseitems.2da in your backup folder, simply delete the one in your Override folder (unless you installed another mod editing it later).
Compabilitiy:
Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible with everything that does not edit the training saber (dan13_practice.uti)

Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance
By Silveredge9
This is a mod by Silveredge9 which I received permission to reupload due to filefront's collapse.
I have marked it as incompatible with K1R, but the truth is I'm not certain whether it is or not. So long as this mod is installed prior to K1R they're likely to work together, but I am not the original author and am unwilling to make a definitive statement to this effect.
The contents of this file, and its readme, have not been altered in any way from the original which Silveredge9 uploaded; the unmodified readme follows:

DESCRIPTION: A unique appearence for the spirit of Ajunta Pall to replace the default Dark Jedi one. Includes an option to make Ajunta semi transparent.

Comments
----------------------------------------
I always though the default Ajunta Pall character was a little uninteresting and generic, looking the same as the enemies you fight in the game. So here, at last is an cool appearance to match his cool voice.
Firstly, choose if or not you want a solid Ajunta Pall, or a Semi Transparent "Ghost-Like" Ajunta Pall. And open the associated folder, either Non-Transparent, or Transparent.
Then are 2 variations of the head to choose from, with ghostly eyes or with sith eyes. To use the Sith Eyes version, copy the file from the Sith Eyes folder into the override folder after the installation.
Also the horrible shield effect has been removed.
Should you want to retain the shield effect on Ajunta Pall, don't move 'clear_effects.ncs' or 'kor37_freedonnad.dlg' in the Override folder.
----------------------------------------
Version Updates
----------------------------------------
- Transparent Ajunta Pall option added.

How to Install This Mod
----------------------------------------
- Choose whether you want Solid or Transparent Ajunta Pall, and move the TGA files into the Override directory.
- Unzip all the rest of the Zips contents into your Override directory, located in your LucasArts/SWKotOR folder.

Davik's Upgradable Armor Mod
By N-DReW25
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Author: N-DReW25
Release Date: 05.7.2016
Installation:
Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder
Uninstallation:
Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder
Description:
Davik is the Crimelord of Taris and is a member of the Exchange. During your travels you get to steal his ship the Ebon Hawke and witness his death and
collect the fancy armor he wore and a few other items. Though this armor is good armor near the end of the game it becomes kinda useless but this mod
should fix that. If you were to try out the game cheats you will notice there are 3 cheat codes that give davik's armor.
g_a_class6007
g_a_class6008
g_a_class6009
The "g_a_class6007" is Davik's armor while the others arn't but there stats suggest Davik's armor was going to be upgradable at one point but it was likely cut
due to it being to strong and it wasn't restored in K1R for probably the same reason or was overlooked since this is a minor thing.
So this mod basically makes Davik's armor upgradable so it can be made more useful near the end game.
Stats:
Armor reinforcement: 2 Defence Bonus
Mesh Underlay: Damage resistance: Cold 20%
Damage resistance: Fire 20%
Immunity: Mind Effecting
Known Bugs:
None that I know of but if their is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
Incompatibilities:
Will be incompatible with anything that changes g_a_class6007 or with anything that removes Davik's armor from Davik (Than this mod wouldn't have effect)
Permissions:
If you want to include this in your own mod please PM me on Deadlystream first(I will likely say yes)
Thanks:

The New Face of Malak
By Dark Hope
I confess. I really like how the character Malak. And I fell in love with it after reading the comic book Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Especially touched when he sacrifices himself for the unfamiliar girl. Malak revealed as heroic, romantic, good-looking young man. We all know what happened to him and made the dark side of the sword Revan. And then Malak lost any hint of attraction. It is not right! I made an alternative texture for the dark lord. I have long thought, how to give it a more attractive appearance. And I'm very happy with what we got. For me it looks manly and attractive, even with the injury suffered.

Upgradable Sith Lightsaber
==========================================
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION
==========================================
TITLE: Upgradable Sith Lightsaber
VERSION: 1.0
AUTHOR: GhostlyBreadbin
DESCRIPTION: This is a simple little mod which allows you to upgrade the Sith Lightsaber you find in the Tomb of Naga Sadow on Korriban. It allows you to use each and every blade colour and power crystal that is available in the game.
Admittedly, it is little more than a set of UTI edits and some 2DA tinkering to make the upgrade side of things work, but it makes for a more immersive experience when you can change the blade colour without having the description of the item itself change, if that makes sense. Not all Sith use the same colour lightsaber, right?
The lightsaber itself can still be found in Naga Sadow's tomb as always, with the red crystal pre-installed. The other colour crystals are inside the statue as well, but you'll have to hunt down all the different power crystals yourself!
I may well release a 2.0 version of this mod featuring a new hilt model later on, but i've only just started learning 3D and am not yet sufficiently skilled to create anything worth releasing publically.
INSTALLATION: Run the included installer and the TSL Patcher will install the mod automatically.
THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. Save Mission
By jc2
JC2 PRESENTS
SAVE MISSION
There are two options > Leave Mission on the Unknown Planet.
Or:
Convince Mission to stay with your crew and serve you.
However, this mod doesn't remove the option to kill Mission, that is stilll present in the game if you choose the third dialogue.
For clarity, saving Mission begins with "You're all alone.. " (This should be the first option)
Leaving Mission behind on the Planet begins with "Go on Mission - Get out of here ... " (second option)
Two additional dialogue options have been added that appeal more to the themes of kotor and to the Sith (as suggested by SH).
They are the last two options of the six total options and result in keeping Mission.
Most lines are voiced by Mission so there's an element of realism to the mod, the additional lines spoken by Mission Vao use vanilla female twi'lek voice over,
This is K1R compatible.
----------------------------------------
Installation: Unzip file, place into override,
Uninstall: Delete from override.
----------------------------------------
Incompatible with Spare Mission and Zaalbar by Scarrab & any other mod that edits the "unk41_mission.dlg" file.
Hope you enjoy!
As always feel free to leave Negative/Postive feedback! This includes sending me a better screenshot, since my computer can't handle graphics of any kind, ever...
----------------------------------------
Important Note:
The current problem with the mod, is that if you talk to Mission again after this conversation, she will result to conversations opened up only after you crash on the Lehon (unknown planet) and will not seem to recognize your recent actions as SIth Lord and whatever option you chose. This presents a bit of issue with a lack of immersion, to avoid this. Don't talk to Mission again! This is what may be updated later.

Quanons Gammoreans Reskin Pack:
This little mod will update all the Gammorean skins. All of them had their size increased to 1024x1024.
I've been able to put in some extra details, on the faces; better looking eyes. Leather look to their armors.
Tweaked the contrast/ brightness; etc... A good overall polish to make them their best, even though they are pigs

Copy and paste all 5 files from my pack.

Genoharadan - Light Side
Genoharadan - Light Side
Description:
One of the more exciting subplots in KotOR was the Genoharadan, a secret guild of assassins that your player could join and hunt multiple targets across the galaxy. Sadly, you couldn't complete this quest without accumulating a whole lot of Dark Side Points - until now.
This mod allows you to spare the lives of Vorn Daasraad, Rulan Prolik, Ithorak Guldar and Lorgal (There's an option to let Zuulan go free in the game already so I've not changed anything there). You'll gain Light Side points for letting them live.
Finally, each of the targets you let live will appear during your final battle with Hulas on Tatooine. There you can, if you really want to, kill all of the Genoharadan Overseers at once.
Installation:
Run the TSLPatcher and select your KotOR game directory.
Compatibility:
Incompatible with any mod that alters the Genoharadan quests, characters or dialogs.
Bugs:
Not really a bug but something worth mentioning; if you kill Rulan Prolik on Tatooine he won't transform in to his true form upon death, he'll just die as he is.
No others bugs I can think of. If you come across any, please let me know.
Sidenotes:
You will need Force Persuade and a high Persuade skill
I had a lot of trouble trying to work out how to save Rulan
and the end result is a bit iffy: to do it you have to converse with one of the tachs that isn't him in disguise and kill it pretending it is.

Human Xor Restoration
By Leilukin
=Human Xor Restoration=
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION
AUTHOR: Leilukin
FILE NAME: Human Xor Restoration.zip
LATEST VERSION: 1.0
CONTACT: E-mail to contact@leilukin.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream
1) DESCRIPTION:
This mod restores the original appearance of the NPC Xor in the Xbox version of KotOR, by changing his species from a Twi'lek to a human.
For those who do not know or remember, Xor appears during Juhani's personal quest, "Threat from Xor", and he is revealed to be the slaver who attempted to buy Juhani before Juhani was freed. I have always found it jarring that Xor openly makes anti-alien comments despite being a nonhuman himself ("You Jedi act all prim and proper, but inside you must feel the same way I do about the lesser, nonhuman species"), and in my opinion it would make far more sense for Xor to be a human.
Later, I found out from Xor's Wookieepedia entry that he was originally a human in the Xbox version of KotOR, but his species was changed to a Twi'lek in the PC version. Therefore, I made this mod to restore Xor's original human appearance so it would be consistent with his in-game dialogue and anti-alien nature.
NOTE: This mod has been included in the KotOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) with my permission. If you intend to use K1CP, you do not need to download and install this mod.
2) INSTALLATION:
Extract the Human Xor Restoration.zip you downloaded to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KoOR directory. Run Install Human Xor Restoration.exe, point the installer to your KotOR directory and let the installer do its magic.
NOTE: If you already have the g_xor.utc and/or kas_xor1.utc file in your Override folder, when you install this mod a new folder named backup will be created by TSLPatcher in the same folder as the TSLPatcher. Do not delete the folder or the file within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod.
3) UNINSTALLATION:
Delete g_xor.utc and kas_xor1.utc from your Override folder.
If a backup folder was created when you installed this mod, go to the backup folder, cut and paste g_xor.utc and/or kas_xor1.utc from the folder and paste the file in your Override folder.
4) KNOWN ISSUES:
None currently known. If you find any bugs or problems, please let me know.
5) MOD COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be compatible with any other mods that do not change Xor's appearance.
This mod is compatible with KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R).
6) PERMISSION:
You may modify this mod for your personal use. However if you want to use any files from this mod for your own mod, please ask for my permission before releasing your mod. If I give you permission for it, I request that you credit me when you release your mod. Thank you.

NPC Portraits for KotOR 1
Here's another mod that sprung from other people's hard work.
NPC PORTRAITS FOR KOTOR 1
===========================
MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE: 03 JUN 2017
UPDATED RELEASE DATE: 23 JUN 2017
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Notes:
------
This mod is not recommended for Knights of the Old Republic 2 for what should be obvious reasons.
This mod is not recommended for first time players of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - spoilers!
This mod will overwrite portraits of the NPC characters that may be provided by other mods. Keep this in mind when installing this mod.
Background:
------------------
I had this idea of asking folks to get high quality captures of the NPCs in 3DS MAX using poses similar to the ones in the traditional NPC portraits. I would then put a detailed background that indicated where we first met those characters.
I then proceeded to ask around for folks willing to grab some of these for me. Thus the NPC PORTRAITS FOR TSL mod was born. This new mod - like the previous mod - redoes the portraits but this time, it's for the original KotOR.
As none of the portraits in KotOR shift from LS to DS - or vice versa - they ALL now have animations in the backgrounds.
I have NO plans to do other characters from mods such "Kay" from Recruitable Kay or "Shadow" from Brotherhood of Shadow. It's just the standard NPCs here. I'd love to see someone else tackle those characters though!
Description:
-----------------
Here is my explanation of why I chose these backgrounds. You can skip this part of the read-me if you like but I'm putting this in here so I don't have to have lengthy, boring discussions of why I placed who in front of where. (If I completely ignore you if you bring this up in the review thread, now you know why.)
Carth - You first meet Carth on the Endar Spire so that's where I stuck him. I was considering using the Taris Hideout but that seemed to be a boring location.
Bastila - Yeah, you meet her on Taris but as she's a Jedi, I decided to put her on Dantooine. Trust me, you don't want so many of the characters with drab Taris backgrounds.
Canderous - You meet him on Taris in one of the nightclubs but it seemed to be a bit boring for a background. So I moved the action to Davik's Hangar, during Malak's bombardment.
T3-M4 - The player meets "him" in Janice Nall's shop on Taris so that's "his" background.
Mission - You first meet her in the Javyar's Cantina on Taris so that's her background.
Zalbaar - I didn't want to reuse the same area for Big Z that Mission had, so I changed his background to Rwookrrorro Village on Kashyyyk.
Jolee - I wanted Manaan to be in here somewhere and seeing as his friend is on trial, I picked that planet as his background.
Juhani - She has the Dantooine Grove as her background as that's where you first meet her.
HK-47 - You meet "him" in Yuka Laka's Droid Shop on Tatooine so that's "his" background.
Trask - You didn't think I'd forget Trask, did you? He's only in one location - the Endar Spire - so that's where you'll see him in front of.
Installation:
----------------
Read this portion carefully.
For Trask, Carth Onasi, and Jolee skins: just grab all of of the TGA and TXI files, and then drop them into your Override folder.
The T3-M4 folders have TWO different versions of HK-47's portraits - one portrait utilizing Darth_Sapien's skin, the other portrait using Quanon's skin.
The Canderous folders have TWO different versions of his portraits - the model utilizing the original texture and a version using the texture created by Quanon.
The HK-47 folders have THREE different versions of HK-47's portraits - the standard model with vanilla skin, the standard model with Quanon's skin, and the SWTOR model created by DarthParametric using Kainzorus Prime's skin.
For Zaalbar: There are THREE different textures to choose from - the original, one created by Quanon, and one created by Corpsecotillion.
For Mission: There are THREE different versions: the original game skin, a version by Dark Hope, and a version by Quanon.
For Bastila: There are FOUR different versions: 2 versions by Quanon, a version by Dark Hope and Quanon, and the original game skin.
For Juhani: There are TEN different textures to choose from. 7 Variants from "Juhani Catlike Head Mod", Shem's "Juhani New Look" Skin, Miro42's "Juhani Real Cathar Head", and her original skin.
Look at the pictures in the release thread to determine which portrait type you wish to use. Copy the contents of that folder to your Override folder.
Note the files that you put into your Override folder.
Uninstall:
-------------
Remove the files that you copied (and noted) from the Override folder.
Very Special Thanks:
----------------------------
Quanon - For all of the head and body renders. Many of his skins were utilized as well; including Carth, Jolee, T3-M4, Mission, Zaalbar, and HK-47.

Dark Hope (previously known as Cache71) - For her Mission Vao skin and for her work with Quanon on the their Bastila skin.
Darth_Sapiens - For his HD T3-M4 skin.
Darth Parametric - For his SWTOR HK model.
Kainzorus Prime - For the skin for DP's model.
Corpsecotillion - For his Zaalbar skin.

Kexikus - For his high quality skybox skins, seen here in the following portraits: Jolee.
Thunder3 - For the high quality skins in his Endar Spire Mod - seen in the Trask and Carth portraits.
Shoelace - For the instructions on how to use XnView for Jorak Uln's Manaan mod. (Jorak Uln? Might I humbly suggest to update your instructions? Please?)
djh269 - Beta-testing and for read-me proof-reading.
N-DReW25 - Beta-testing on Android. (That's a new one for one of my mods.)
If you have any issues with my mod, take it up with me and not with these fine contributors. (You can - of course - compliment them on their time, work, and graciousness.)
Enjoy!

Quanons Jolee Reskin
By Quanon
Quanons Jolee Reskin.
It has taken me some time to get the last of my reskins out of the door. But it's here!
Jolee, the old Jedi hermit, crazy wisecracking cook, had been done for some time.
So have a peek at the screenshots, as I've given him the same treatment as my other reskins.
A nice size boost; which allowed me to put in a more texture to his skin and clothes.
I've kept his classic vanilla look, so no changes to his design. Just more crisp and sharp looking details all over.
Jolee comes with 3 differant icons. I've put those in a folder. When installing just rename the icon properly.
You only need to remove the '02' or '03' suffix. For the other files, just copy them to the Override and done!
By demand a more hairy chest version has been added!

JC's Darksaber for K1
By JCarter426
Summary
This mod adds the Darksaber, a unique lightsaber seen in the Clone Wars and Rebels TV shows, to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
The Darksaber comes with a custom hilt and blade effect.
The Darksaber's stats are better than the standard lightsaber's (+2 Charisma and +1d8 Universal damage) but the item cannot be upgraded.
I have integrated the item into the game, but I'll keep the how a surprise. One hint: You will have to complete a side quest that involves Mandalorians.
If you want to get it through playing the game, you'll have to start a new game. Otherwise, you can cheat it in. The item is "jc_darksaber".
Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Darksaber_K1.exe. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR).
Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary.
Compatibility
Compatibility with other lightsaber mods not guaranteed.
This mod uses lightsaber model variation 255.
This mod patches the module kas_m25aa in order to place the Darksaber into the game. If you have any compatibility issues with other mods that edit this area, you can cheat the item into the game instead. The Darksaber item is "jc_darksaber".

HD UI Menu Pack
By ndix UR
HD UI Menu Pack
for Knights of the Old Republic
v1.1 - 20180318
by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user)
This modification adds high resolution UI menu textures. 2K is the base resolution.
The content is redrawn vector art, no modified scale-ups here. It is focused on menu backgrounds, and includes some of the overlay components for the menus.
Pure Vanilla (PV) Edition aims to provide the closest match to the original menu texture assets.
This mod doesn't touch a lot of the 'extra' menu-like GUI elements yet, such as the galaxy screen, computer interfaces, pazaak, etc. It also doesn't mess with the main menu at all yet.
Requirements
You must be running menus at a high resolution for this to really work. At the default menu size, this mod will probably look bad.
You must have KotOR High Resolution Menus or an equivalent mod installed for good results.
Known Issues
The original textures were for 640x480 menus. The 4x sized textures in this package would look best at 2560x1920, which nobody really uses. If your display is less than 2560px width, you may experience seams where different textures are intended to meet seamlessly. The game just isn't that good at scaling UI textures with alpha channels used for transparency. There's nothing I can really do about it.
There are some sprites in the menu processes that haven't made it into the package yet. They may sometime.
I've added x/y clamping to some textures that should have transparent edges over 3D backgrounds. It makes the transparent edges work well, but the diffuse edges work less well. It seems you can't have it both ways, and this is the trade off.
Install / Uninstall
To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation.
To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder.

JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1
By JCarter426
Summary
This mod replaces the Jedi robes worn by the player and many NPCs with a more iconic, cloaked one based on a model from K2. I've made some fixes to the model and made new textures both to improve the quality and fit into the game more smoothly.
There are three texture options: 100% Brown, Brown-Red-Blue, and Brown-Red-Blue Alternative. The Brown-Red-Blue textures maintain the color scheme of the K1 Jedi Robes. The 100% Brown textures look more like K2 textures, with different (brown) designs for the Jedi robes instead of different colors. The Brown-Red- Blue Alternative is a mix of these styles. It retains the color scheme of the Brown-Red-Blue option while keeping the variety of the 100% Brown option. Dark Jedi robes, of course, are always black.
All styles come with or without gloves for your player character and some non- player characters. If you choose a gloveless option, your hands will be bare and match your usual skin tone.
Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Install.exe. Select one of the six install options:
a) 100% Brown
b) 100% Brown (No Gloves)
c) Brown-Red-Blue
d) Brown-Red-Blue (No Gloves)
e) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative
f) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative (No Gloves) Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Manual Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. If you do not have an override folder, make one in your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Select one of the three folders in tslpatchdata:
k_bbb – 100% Brown
k_brb – Brown-Red-Blue
k_brb-a – Brown-Red-Blue Alternative Copy all files from the selected folder to your override folder except appearance.2da and the .ini and .rtf files. The gloveless options require patching appearance.2da and are not supported by the manual installation.
Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility & Other Notes
This mod is not compatible with my Cloaked Hybrid Robes mod; you have to pick one or the other.
This mod is compatible with my Cloaked Party Robes mod, if you install it after installing this mod.
This mod is likely not compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi robes.
This mod uses my Supermodel Port for K1. This makes it super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate.
This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. So you don't have to worry about using that, or if these files are overwriting those. Use this mod's files.
These supermodel edits somewhat alter some animations in the game. These adjustments were necessary to prevent the old stuff from clipping with the new stuff. It's essentially what Obsidian did when they added the new bones to the supermodel, but I've reversed the changes a bit to bring the animations closer to the original K1 style.
Some models aren't so happy with the new rig. I've made some hotfixes for such cases where I can, but they won't be compatible with other mods that alter these models. I've instructed TSLPatcher not to overwrite these.
P_JuhaniBB.mdl and P_JuhaniBB.mdx are two such files that will be skipped. If you use the Juhani Catlike Head Mod, I suggest that you use my version because I happened to fix the same thing that mod fixes anyway. You can copy those two files manually from tslpatchdata to Override.
The gloveless options only support appearances from the original game release. If you use a modded player appearance, they'll still wear gloves.
While this mod adds skirt bones to the player supermodels, at this time it does not add the bones or the necessary animations to the cutscene models. So the skirt flaps may appear stiff in scenes that use those.

Playable Lizardlike Characters
By redrob41
This mod will add 2 male & 2 female playable characters. The characters are lizardlike in appearance, and I was inspired by the green skinned PC included in the Holowan Plug-in2 (I think that skin was done by Colja).
The race of these PCs is listed as Lizard in the appearance.2da file. I tried to model them after a Star Wars universe race, but I couldn't find one that suited my personal tastes. According to Wookieepedia, there are 5 different mutated sub-species of Nikto. Unfortunately there are already Green Nikto in Kotor (Swoop Gang members), and I wouldn't be able to duplicate their look. Another reptilian species is the Koorivar. They have a large cranial horn that looks great for a senator with fancy robes, but didn't work for a soldier in Kotor (possible clipping issues with headgear). A close possibility was the Falleen, but they have hair, large spinal ridges, and tiny scales. I wanted bald with large scales, and I didn't think that I could model the ridges. In the end I just went with what I thought looked good.
My PCs are patterned after green geckos and desert tan horned lizards, and I have modified PMHC01, PMHA03, PFHB05 & PFHC05. The head models have all been changed to have rounded ears close to the head, with some additional ridges and spikes to the eyebrows and skull. The scales pattern is a re-used Krayt dragon skin, and the hardest part was to make all the scales blend and match at the seams in the model, especially around the ears. They also have underwear skins for all three classes, complete with wet looking scales.

Endar Spire Dialogue Enhancement
By CarboCation
I've always felt that the dialogue in Kotor was a little too simple and lacked much of the variety that Kotor II has.
This mod adds a little more flavor to the Endar Spire by restructuring, altering and adding some dialogue options for the PC. For those of you looking for more substance in your mods I've also added some light and dark side points to certain dialogue options.
You may notice that there are more dark side dialogue options than light side. This is because I believe in the Jedi teachings that the dark side is much easier to follow than the light. Although, I may come back and add more light side options in the future.
This is my very first mod and took me a few hours so please leave me some feedback

Under NO circumstances is this, or any of my other,

1. Info
===========
These skins change and unify Malak's Jedi and Sith appearances. The mask, collar, and chest plates retain their shine from default texture, and it's noticeable enough without poking the viewer's eyes out.
New eyes were added to the Jedi, Sith and Jawless appearances. The Jedi appearance was designed to resemble the sith outfit, while not taking too many textures from the latter directly.
The skins are compatible with TSL, and can be placed in its Override folder to be used with the game.
2. Instalation:
=========
Unpack all files from zip and place them in Override folder.
If you do not have Override folder, create it in main KotOR or TSL directory.
3. Usage
=========
This is mainly intended as replacement skin for Malak, but you can download any disguise item that changes you to him and this skin will be applied to it.
4. REMOVAL:
===========
Remove following files from the Override folder to uninstall:

N_DarthMalakh01.tga
N_JediMalek01.tga
