View File AxC's Kreia's Canonical Lightsaber Although it’s not possible in the unmodded game, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that Kreia wielded a double-bladed lightsaber during her travels with the Exile, and the Star Wars Miniatures model of Kreia also depicts her using one. From the moment I learned this, it felt odd that the game didn’t reflect it. It’s just one of many canonical elements that remain out of reach in the base game. So, I decided to create this mod to bring Kreia’s canonical weapon to The Sith Lords. Kreia will receive her double-bladed lightsaber aboard the Harbinger during her confrontation with Darth Sion. This weapon comes with improved stats but cannot be upgraded, and it can be used by Kreia even after the loss of her hand. If you download an optional file, she will also wield a double-bladed lightsaber during her time on Malachor. However, if you're already past Peragus (specifically, the point of no return when you board the Ebon Hawk), you can still add the lightsabers using cheats: w_kreia_dblsbr: Kreia's canonical green double-bladed lightsaber, usable only by her. w_traya_dblsbr: A red-crystalled version of the lightsaber, typically unobtainable, but usable by anyone.   5. I have a tendency to collect Lightsabers, both in real life from SaberForge and Ultrasabers, and in my Kotor 2 (and sometimes 1) override folder. I have pretty much all of Jorn's hilts, Holowan designs, etc., but I really love the standalone hilt mods out there like the Valorous Knight's Lightsaber or the Kyle Katarn hilt. So would anyone be willing to drop any Saber Hilt mods in this thread that I might be able to add to my Override for either game? Really it can be anything, so long as it's something you made that you don't mind someone else using in their game. Thank you!

In addition, the blade textures are replaced with flickering textures that are more similar to the original trilogy. NOTE: The models were created by ROOXON for Jedi Academy. I converted them to work in Kotor 2. ROOXON has given me permission to convert the models.

So, I tried to improve them by adding a dynamic ambient light to the blade (environmental lightning), which works quite well. Since this is hard-coded in the model I also optimized the blade plane models to have a different UV layout inspired by Sithspecter's work. I also simplified their geometry and fixed the different brightness bug (different brightness of the blade when viewed from the front compared to the back). Additionally, I included 3D models for the core of the blade and the inner glow of the blade, which can now be used to create black core sabers as seen in SWTOR. The glow - as well as the models - are fully animated to work as the vanilla blades. The hilts are updated together with the blades including hilts from Kaidon Jorn's SLM 2.0 mod. Summary: - All saber hilts are updated with hilts from Kaidon Jorn SLM 2.0 mod (I love it!) All credits for the hilt models, textures and icons go fully to him! - Ambient light for lightsabers - 3D models for blade core and inner glow - Symmetric lightsaber blade planes with a modified version of Sithspecter's crossguard saber UV layout. (Compatible with his unstable textures also included with all credits going to Sithspecter.) - Black core sabers are possible - Homogeneous brightness of the blade (no more “brighter blades when viewed from the front” happening any more) - All sabers are fully upgradeable (added black core and unstable crystals as well as crossguard versions of them) How to use the new lightsabers: Get the black core, unstable and crossguard sabers or crystals by cheating them by using the giveitem command or use KSE to include them in your inventory.     A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 12.09.2016 Installation: Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Description: When searching through the K1 textures I found an unused familiar red lightsaber texture that after playing a bit of TSL I soon realised it was the red lightsaber crystal icon that is used in TSL. So after looking at the red lightsaber crystal K1 uses I soon discovered it was a power crystal icon and not the intended red lightsaber crystal icon so what this mod does is fix/restore the previously unused red lightsaber crystal icon into K1.     TFU Lightsaber pikes for TSL Author: DeadMan Description: This mod adds lightsaber pikes which Shadow Guards used in The Force Unleashed. You can build them at workbench when your character reaches level 8. They deal same damage as doublebladed lightsabers, but not upgradable. Also you can optionally install them for sith assassins. Installation: Step 1: Just run the installer. Step 2 (optional): If you want sith assassins to use these pikesabers instead of the quarterstaffs, copy files from included "sith_assassins" folder to your override.     Update: - I fixed some of the geometry on the hilts so they look a bit cleaner - Also threw in Malak's lightsaber hilt for good measure Well, on March 16, 2011 a veteran modder known as Varsity Puppet released a mod called VP's Hi Poly Tin Cans. Now this mod took the bad lightsaber models that were for the sabers in the vanilla game and made them high quality and good looking. The only problem with this mod though, was that there was no KotOR I version. And so, approximately two years later (I really did not plan this), with VP's permission, I went ahead and made a KotOR I version. Hope you guys enjoy.

  16. A while ago I received permission from Evasto to upload his Luke Skywalker hilt pack to Deadlystream to help preserve the mod. Evasto gave me permission to really do whatever with it, due to him moving away from Kotor modding in favor of other games. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to update this mod for me in a few areas to make it a little more modern with the times. Specifically, I had three requests for the hilt pack: 1. Split each hilt into it's own separate unique lightsaber instead of replacing the vanilla Green lightsaber. 2. Make each saber compatible with Crazy34's New_Lightsaber_Blade_Model_TSL replacer as an additional install option with TSL patcher. 3. Throw each saber's crystal into a unique location to obtain without SGE or cheats (one hilt's crystal in Daraala's inventory on Dantooine, one hilt's crystal in Geeda's inventory on Nar Shaddaa, one hilt's crystal in Kex's inventory on Dxun). If anyone can help out, I would greatly appreciate it!

    Coauthored with oldflash. Now available for KotOR I, a mere thirteen years after the original TSL release, thanks to the magic of MDLEdit. This mod adds a whole set of new short lightsabres - one for each lightsabre colour available in the game, and their crystals to the game. They can be found by the workbench in the Enclave on Dantooine, but only after you leave the Enclave for the first time after becoming a Jedi. The box is spawned when you speak to the droid at the exit from the Enclave and it says “The Council has decreed you may come and go as you please” for the first time. For the mod to work, you need to have not been to Dantooine yet, or at least, not undergone Jedi training. Installation Just double-click on the "Install "Fork" Short Lightsabres" icon to begin the installation. Do not attempt manual installation - it will not work. Don't worry about fiddling with the Source Scripts or Screenshots folders - they are not required for the mod to run. Known Conflicts As far as I know, this mod shouldn't conflict with many that are out there, but will conflict with any mod which alters the file dan13_jdroid.dlg. So far as I am aware, the only mod to alter that file was a robe mod which is no longer available, so this issue shouldn’t arise. Known Bugs None that I know of at present. Blue becomes a deep cobalt Yellow is more lemony Green is minty Violet is lavender Red is more red, less orange Orange is less like an exploding sun in your face I left the others alone since I liked them as-is. Installation: Copy the desired files into your override folder. Blue: w_lsabreblue01 Orange: w_lsabregold01 Green: w_lsabregren01 Violet: w_lsabrepurp01 Red: w_lsabrered01 Yellow: w_lsabreyelo01 Removal: Delete the files. Bugs: None that I am aware of.     Saber&Melee Weapon Sound Mod Author: DeadMan 1. What is this? This mod will change sounds of lightsabers and other melee weapons. Lightsaber sounds are replaced with more movie-like versions. The mod will not only replace ingame sounds, but also will add some variety. For example, all lightsaber types (normal, doublebladed and short) now have unique set of sounds (not only on/off and ‘hum’ sounds, but also swing, parry and hit sounds). Vibroblades, vibroswords, long swords, doublebladed swords and quarterstaffs also have updated soundsets. Vanilla game had only 2 (!) swing sounds for ALL melee weapons. With my mod it’s 3-4 unique sounds for a weapon type. 2. Why should I install it? Why not? 3. How to install? Just run TSL Patcher, it will do everything for you. 4. Compatibility. The mod is not compatible with other mods which alter saber sounds. 5. Credits. Shem – I used some sound files from his Ultimate Sound Mod.
