  1. SWTOR Heads - Customization Pack

This mod requires at least one of these files:
TOR Ports: Jaesa Willsaam Female Player Head for K1 1.0.0
TOR Ports: Meetra Surik AKA Jedi Exile Female Player Head for K1 1.0.0
TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for K1 1.0.0

    Features:
    - This mod Improves head textures from the SWTOR female heads ports by DarthParametric. Faces for each character have now more details and more depth (eyes, skin, lips, hairs).
    - Choice between 4 hair colors (Blond, Dark, Red, White) for each character.
    - HD portraits included for each variant (character/hair color/Jedi/Sith), for a total of 40 custom portraits.

    Installation:
1/ Install at least one of the required mods from the links above.
2/Uncompress my file and open the folder corresponding to your choosen and previously installed SWTOR female character.
3/ Choose your hair color for this character and open the corresponding folder.
4/ Drop or Copy/paste the Override folder in your KOTOR game installation folder. Overwrite when asked.
If you want to use this on your current save game, you can easily change your character and/or hair color by using KSE.

    Compatibility:
Should be compatible with anything. These files overwrite textures from the TOR Ports mods so I suggest reading these mod's description before installation.
For now this mod supports KOTOR 1 versions ONLY (TSL version may come later).

    Thanks to:
    - DarthParametric for the TOR ports mods which I'm enjoying a lot in my game.
    - JCarter426 for the Cloaked Jedi robes I've used on my pics.

  3. KotOR1 T3-M4 Voice Module Upgrade

Here's a new KotOR1 mod of mine.  You’ll probably hate it!

    KotOR1 T3-M4 Voice Module Upgrade

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 28 MAY 2023

FOR WHAT GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1

    Description:

T3—M4 will sound a little more like his KotOR2 incarnation with this mod. Hopefully. This mod doesn’t touch the command/combat barks.  It’s just the files that cover his (it’s?) conversations in dialogues.
Just so you know, the barks are the same between both games.  (The only thing different are the file names!)

    Installation:

    1) Follow this path in your KotOR2 install and trace the route of the following….
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic > streamwaves >

    2) In that streamwaves folder, find the following files and move them to your desktop (which will enable you to reinstall the original sounds if you don’t like what’s in this mod):
    n_gendro_coms1.wav
    n_gendro_coms2.wav
    n_gendro_coms3.wav
    n_gendro_haps1.wav
    n_gendro_ques1.wav
    n_gendro_sads1.wav

    3) Place the following files from my mod into the streamwaves folder:
    n_gendro_coms1.wav
    n_gendro_coms2.wav
    n_gendro_coms3.wav
    n_gendro_haps1.wav
    n_gendro_ques1.wav
    n_gendro_sads1.wav

    4) You might note that there are other files with different names that are also present in my mod folder. These were meant as alternate sounds so users could switch them out if they please.  But the primary reason for being was so they could have been used by modders to add extra voice samples that they could direct to in their dialogues. Oh well. You can ignore these files:
    n_gendro_coms4.wav
    n_gendro_coms5.wav
    n_gendro_haps2.wav
    n_gendro_haps3.wav
    n_gendro_ques2.wav
    n_gendro_ques3.wav
    n_gendro_sads2.wav
    n_gendro_sads3.wav

    To Uninstall:

Take the files that you put in step 2 of the install back out again. Return the files of the same name that you placed on your desktop back into the streamwaves folder.

    Known Bugs:

    None known at this time.
    Special Thanks:
To JCarter426: For pointing out exactly where I could find the original sound files that were replaced with my mod.
To Leilukin: For walking me through SithCodec. (Let’s hope I got it right!)

  6. Ixgil the Bith

Ixgil (the alien who gets murdered by the Sith immediately on Taris) uses Bith VO, and is tagged as a Bith, so I changed his appearance and name to reflect this. Enjoy your new Bith NPC for the scant few seconds in which he's alive! I've been told K1R does this as well, but I don't use it, nor do I particularly want to.

To install, run INSTALL.exe and follow the instructions. Make sure you install this prior to setting foot outside the apartment though, otherwise it will have no effect.

  7. Yavin Station Hangar

In the vanilla game, Yavin Station is the only location that does not have a proper hangar where the player can walk to and from the Ebon Hawk. This mod adds one that generally matches the original landing and takeoff cutscenes, although I have taken a few artistic liberties.  You may notice that, as with the original cutscenes, it looks remarkably similar to the Ahto City hangar on Manaan.  I can only assume that the same architect worked on both projects.
The hangar comes in two variants: with and without a visible forcefield effect over the hangar entrance.  By default, the forcefield is invisible.  To change between the visible and invisible forcefields, see the INSTALLATION instructions below.
Aside from adding the new hangar, I have also made a few additional edits to the station:
    - Changed the stars to use a different, less-repetitive vanilla star texture.
    - Fixed some questionable geometry at the main observation window.
    - Edited the walkmesh by the observation window to correct a glitch where the player could teleport into space, originally documented by the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP).  (This mod's walkmesh fixes were made from scratch and do not reuse any K1CP material.)
    - Added a proper load screen for the station.  (New for version 1.4)
    - Added corridor geometry behind the various locked doors, in place of the original 2D backdrop.  (New for version 1.4)
IMPORTANT:  To experience the new hangar, you will need a save from before visiting Yavin Station for the first time.
ALSO IMPORTANT:  If you are upgrading from version 1.3 or earlier, a new save is also recommended to avoid issues with the lighting on the new airlock doors.
Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod!
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    INSTALLATION
Run INSTALL.exe, and follow the prompts.  If you have other mods installed, it is normal to see a warning that liv_m99aa.mod already exists and has been skipped.  If you are using "High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" by Sithspecter, see below for additional instructions.
By default, the forcefield at the hangar entrance is invisible.  To add a visible forcefield effect, run INSTALL.exe again after finishing the main installation, and select "Optional: Add Visible Forcefield".
If you have previously installed version 1.3 or earlier of this mod, you can upgrade by installing directly over the old version.  Note, however, that you may need to reinstall any other mods which affect Yavin Station (specifically, any mods that edit m50aa.git).
Version 1.4 changes the appearance of the added airlock doors so that they look less like the Sith base doors.  If you prefer the appearance from version 1.0, copy the files in the folder "Option - Alternate Airlock Door (v1_0)" into Override.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    COMPATIBILITY
This mod is incompatible with other mods that edit the area geometry of Yavin Station.  Reskins are technically compatible, but depending on how drastic they are, they might look strange with a few new textures from this mod.  If you are using a reskin of the Ebon Hawk's exterior, see the instructions below.
This mod is compatible with the Kotor 1 Community Patch (K1CP).  It has not been tested with the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) or the K1 Yavin IV Planet Mod, but I do not expect any significant compatibility issues.  For best results, install this mod after K1CP or K1R and before any other mods that alter Yavin Station.
If you are using any mods that change the station's load screen (i.e. "Loadscreens in Color" by Sithspecter), install them after this one.  If they use .tga files, you will need to delete this mod's version of "load_liv_m99aa.tpc" from Override manually.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    HIGH QUALITY COCKPIT SKYBOXES
If you are using "High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" by Sithspecter (which I highly recommend), I have included compatible skybox textures matching my new hangar.  After installing the cockpit skyboxes, perform the following steps:
    1. Open the folder "HQ Cockpit Skybox Textures" from this mod.
    2. Copy the TPC files corresponding to the desired quality into your Override folder.
    3. If present, delete the following files from Override:
       - ebo_yab.tga
       - ebo_yaf.tga
       - ebo_yal.tga
       - ebo_yar.tga
       - ebo_yat.tga
If you are using the alternate airlock door option, also copy the appropriate version of "ebo_yaf.tpc" from the "Alternate Airlock Door" folder into Override, overwriting if asked.
"High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" may be found at https://deadlystream.com/files/file/938-high-quality-cockpit-skyboxes/
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    EBON HAWK RESKINS
To use a reskin of the Ebon Hawk's exterior with the new hangar, perform the following steps:
    1. Make extra copies of "LSF_EHawk01.tga" and "LSF_EHawk01.txi" (if present) from the reskin, and rename them as "yvh_ehawk.tga" and "yvh_ehawk.txi", respectively.
    2. Open the new "yvh_ehawk.txi" with a text editor, and change the entry after "envmaptexture" or "bumpyshinytexture" to "CM_WK_YAVHGR".
    3. Copy both files into your Override folder.
    4. Delete "yvh_ehawk.tpc" from your Override folder.

  9. HD Robe Icons for JC's Cloaked Jedis and Effix's Extra Robes

As I'm sure many of you, I enjoy playing Kotor with JC's Cloaked Jedi Mod. Unfortunately, after using some of the excellent HD icon mods around, the TSL port-quality icons from that mod, end up looking pretty poor in comparison. This mod attempts to fix that by providing high quality icons for it.
Since I also like playing with Effix's Extra Robes, I added icons for that mod as well.

I plan on releasing a comprehensive robe (and possibly armor) icon mod for TSL eventually, but since I am now going through a K1 play-through. This is what I cared about first.

    Installation
    ---------------------------------------------------------
Make sure you've installed your robe mods first, then, within this mod browse to the directories of the mods you've installed and drag and drop those files into your Kotor's installation Override directory. Overwrite files once prompted.

  12. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1

    Summary
This mod adds cloaks to the Jedi robes worn by the player and many NPCs, combining the body of the KOTOR 1 robes with the cloaks of the KOTOR 2 robes in a hybrid model.
There are three texture options: 100% Brown, Brown-Red-Blue, and Brown-Red-Blue Alternative. The Brown-Red-Blue textures maintain the color scheme of the K1 Jedi Robes. The 100% Brown textures look more like K2 textures, with different (brown) designs for the Jedi robes instead of different colors. The Brown-Red-Blue Alternative uses the K1 color scheme, but gives the red and blue robes dark grey cloaks.
All styles come with or without gloves for your player character and some non-player characters. If you choose a gloveless option, your hands will be bare and match your usual skin tone.
    Installation
    Automatic Installation (Recommended)
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Fashion_I_Cloaked_Hybrid_Robes_K1.exe. Select one of the six install options:
    a) 100% Brown
    b) 100% Brown (No Gloves)
    c) Brown-Red-Blue
    d) Brown-Red-Blue (No Gloves)
    e) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative
    f) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative (No Gloves) Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Manual Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. If you do not have an override folder, make one in your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Select one of the three folders in tslpatchdata:
    h_bbb – 100% Brown
    h_brb – Brown-Red-Blue
h_brb-a – Brown-Red-Blue Alternative Copy all files from the selected folder to your override folder except appearance.2da and the .ini and .rtf files. The gloveless options require patching appearance.2da and are not supported by the manual installation.
    Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility
This mod is not compatible with my Cloaked Jedi Robes mod; you have to pick one or the other.
This mod is compatible with my Cloaked Party Robes mod, if you install it after installing this mod.
This mod is likely not compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi robes.
This mod uses my Supermodel Port for K1. This makes it super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate.
This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. So you don't have to worry about using that, or if these files are overwriting those. Use this mod's files.
These supermodel edits somewhat alter some animations in the game. These adjustments were necessary to prevent the old stuff from clipping with the new stuff. It's essentially what Obsidian did when they added the new bones to the supermodel, but I've reversed the changes a bit to bring the animations closer to the original K1 style.
Some models aren't so happy with the new rig. I've made some hotfixes for such cases where I can, but they won't be compatible with other mods that alter these models. I've instructed TSLPatcher not to overwrite these.
P_JuhaniBB.mdl and P_JuhaniBB.mdx are two such files that will be skipped. If you use the Juhani Catlike Head Mod, I suggest that you use my version because I happened to fix the same thing that mod fixes anyway. You can copy those two files manually from tslpatchdata to Override.
The gloveless options only support appearances from the original game release. If you use a modded player appearance, they'll still wear gloves.
While this mod adds skirt bones to the player supermodels, at this time it does not add the bones or the necessary animations to the cutscene models. So the skirt flaps may appear stiff in scenes that use those.

  13. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1

    Summary
This mod replaces the Jedi robes worn by the player and many NPCs with a more iconic, cloaked one based on a model from K2. I've made some fixes to the model and made new textures both to improve the quality and fit into the game more smoothly.
The Brown-Red- Blue Alternative is a mix of these styles. It retains the color scheme of the Brown-Red-Blue option while keeping the variety of the 100% Brown option. Dark Jedi robes, of course, are always black.
All styles come with or without gloves for your player character and some non- player characters. If you choose a gloveless option, your hands will be bare and match your usual skin tone.

This mod is not compatible with my Cloaked Hybrid Robes mod; you have to pick one or the other.

  14. Onderon Fashion [K1]

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 06.05.2023

    Installation:
Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND (This mod is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work)!
It is HIGHLY recommended you install the NPC Diversity Pack mod BEFORE this mod. That mod will change the appearances of over 100 NPCs in Kotor, with Onderon Fashion these two mods together will further enhance the NPCs of Kotor!
Once you're ready to install Onderon Fashion simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.

    Description:
Onderon is a weird place in Kotor 2, most places in the two Kotor games have generic NPCs who all wear different texture variants of the same commoner model whereas Onderon has their own unique traditional RPG style garb. In Kotor 2, this unique appearances only appear on Onderon and, oddly, they use player heads instead of generic heads (And Deadeye Duncan's head for some reason).
This mod ports the unique Onderon NPCs to Kotor 1 and enhances them.
1st) They will now use the vanilla generic head models meaning 28 generic NPCs will now wear Onderon clothing!
2nd) They will appear all over the galaxy mingling with other generic NPCs with different clothing, creating a far more diverse galaxy to explore.
3rd) This mod uses the textures of Effix's "Zeison Sha/Jal Shey to Onderon Clothing" mod, the default Onderon clothing textures from K2 have been upscaled to 1K resolution and two new colours, green and black, have been added as a result.

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs, but feel free to report any bugs you might find!

    Incompatibilities:
    Please report any further incompatibilities!

    Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
For Effix's textures, his readme states "You can use the files from this mod in your own mod if you simply credit me (Effix)".

    Thanks to:
Effix: For creating the "Zeison Sha/Jal Shey to Onderon Clothing" mod, much of the new textures of this mod wouldn't have been added without his work!
Bioware: For such an amazing game!
    Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool!
    Stoffee: For TSLPatcher!
    Everyone who downloads the mod!

  15. Party Model Fixes For K1, Part II

Those of you familiar with Party Model Fixes by redrob41 know it is a cool mod that fixes up some of the game's models for your K1 party members. Cool enough that I figured it was time for a sequel -- we are going to do even more fixing up of our compatriots:
Carth: His unique outfit has a holster which hung by some leather that was missing a texture on one side, rendering it invisible from certain angles. This fixes up that issue, alongside some bonus texture mapping fixes to his opposite pouch and jacket, including the collar fix that redrob41 worked on in their original mod.
Zaalbar: Our wookiee friend had some hairs that went missing depending on the angle, again due to missing textures on the opposite sides of some geometry. This fixes that right up, alongside some other messy texture mapping for some of his fur.
Jolee: Sometimes Jolee likes to just hang out in a swim suit, socks, and... some kind of bizarre ankle brace. I could not tell you what it does, but it is unlikely to be doing its job given that it disappears when viewed from the other side. This fixes up another classic case of one-sided texture syndrome, and makes some small improvements to texture mapping.
Mission: Originally Mission was set to just use adult models when wearing various armors, likely due to time constraints. Therefore, I have made some alternate armor models more suitable for a kid to use. These are just edited versions of the vanilla models, with similar texture mapping, so it is all very vanilla-looking and compatible with any texture mods. This will add the new models to your game and set her appearance.2da row to use them. Her unique models in vanilla are fixed up less noticeably to reflect the changes, and include similar texture mapping fixes to the arms that redrob41 did.
This mod is intended to be installed after redrob41's Party Model Fixes, but does not require it to work. All changes will be applied immediately, and do not require that you start a new game.

    Installation:
Download the included .7z file and extract it anywhere of your choosing on your computer. You can unzip a .7z file with tools such as Archive Utility on MacOs, or by with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. Simply run this installer, directing it to the location of your main game folder with the executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor".
The installer is an .exe file, which Windows can run natively. Mac and Linux users might consider checking out Cortisol's HoloPatcher -- a new tool that is meant as a cross-platform alternative to traditional KotOR mod installers. Alternatively, executable files can be run on Mac or Linux with programs using tools such as Wine. If you are having trouble with either of those options, I have included some instructions for manual installation in the download's "ReadMe" file.
If you happened to have previously installed another mod which placed an appearance.2da file in your override folder, the installer will give you a warning reporting as much upon completion. This is of no concern -- so long as you get no other warnings or errors, the mod is installed correctly and ready-to-go.
The mod will overwrite any conflicting model files (.mdl/.mdx) in your override folder, but not any appearance.2da file it finds there, merely edit the existing one. Be sure to back up anything you want to keep ahead of time. The Included Files list below contains all the files that will be installed to the override folder.

    Uninstallation:
Delete all of the files listed below from your override folder. If you had an appearance.2da file in your override folder prior to installing, you can find a backup version in the mod's "backup" folder, which was automatically created during installation, and place that in your override. If you are unsure whether or not a previous mod had put that file there or not, it is better to make use of the backup.

    Included Files:

    Compatibility:
This mod is fully compatible with any mod which does not replace any of the model files (.mdl/.mdx) listed above. Files that edit appearance.2da are compatible so long as they do not change Mission's armor model cells.
If you intend to install Party Model Fixes by redrob41, I recommend doing so before installing this mod, or what you install here will be overwritten.
Expect compatibility with most any texture/reskin mods -- so long as they do not replace models (.mdl/.mdx files) as well as textures, there should be no conflict.

    Acknowledgments:
Thanks to seedhartha, NdixUR, Symmetric, and Purifier for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I would also like to thank Stoffe and Fair Strides for making inter-mod compatibility infinitely more feasible with TSLPatcher. Shout-out to ConansHair for pointing out that weird bright spot on Zaalbar's rump.

  16. Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs for K1

When dealing with crime lords, beware. Davik Kang's prize ship has a state-of-the-art security system -- it is filled with hulls gaps to suffocate the lungs and texturing errors to boggle the mind. If we want to get the Ebon Hawk flying safely, we ought to patch things up.
The goal of this mod was to provide all of the same fixes provided by Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs For TSL to your K1 game. This mod patches the same issues as Ebon Hawk K1 Fixes 2.0 by ndix UR, as well as many of the others I worked on for TSL.
The latest version includes some big improvements to the alignment of the ship's geometry and animations to the monitor textures it uses. I have included in the download a folder labelled "Animated Monitors"; these files serve provide significantly higher-quality alignments to those using either  "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz. I personally recommend using those texture mods for the monitors, and installing the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override folder after installing the rest. See the Installation section for more details.
If you would like to simply remove the blinking animations entirely, you can find an alternate version of the mod for download in PapaZinos' Alternates to do just that.
    Installation:
Download the 7z file and extract the contents of the "To Override" folder to your game's override folder, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor". 7z files can be extracted with Archive Utility on macOS, or with programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux.
For those using my monitor texture mods of choice, either  "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz, make sure to install the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override. To install, simply copy the files included in the "Animation Fix Edition" subfolder to your override after copying the files from the "To Override" folder. Select "replace" when prompted.
    Uninstallation:
Remove the files in the Included Files list below from your override.
    Included Files:
    Compatibility:
Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. For compatibility with the KotOR 1 Community Patch and Darth Parametric's Taris Escape Sequence Adjustments, simply install this mod after those ones.
Looking to introduce some much-improved ship animations that are made for their textures? Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz have authored both "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" and "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)", both of which do the job well. I recommend using either alongside the files in the "Animated Monitors" subfolder aforementioned in the Installation section.
    Acknowledgments:
I would like to thank Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I also want to give a shout-out to muitafruita for suggesting including the medbay walkmesh fix from TSL to K1 as a way to improve PC spawning.
This modification is not supported by Bioware, Lucasarts, Disney or any licensers/sponsors thereof. Use of this modification is at your own risk and neither the aforementioned companies nor the author may be held responsible for any damages caused to your computer via this modification's usage.

  17. KotOR 3440x1440 Enhanced HUD/UI and Menus

This mod was created due to the frustration of playing with a small HUD on an ultrawide screen. The mod enhances the HUD/UI and Menus from the KotOR High Resolution Menus mod.
I created an enlarged HUD, that makes playing the game much more enjoyable on a 3440x1440 resolution.
Due to the larger HUD, one needs to use upscaled assets for it to look good. I used a combination of different assets from (KotOR High Resolution Menus, HD MENUS AND UI Assets and Remastered UI)

    Installation
Before installing please make a backup of your own swkotor.exe

You have 2 Options to Install this mod:
1 -     You copy the patched swkotor.exe to the Game Folder, then you copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games Override Folder.
2 -    You patch your swkotor.exe (The Editable version from here) by installing KotOR High Resolution Menus with a 3440x1440 resolution, then copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games
            Override Folder.
    IMPORTANT:
ADJUST the Height and Width under [Graphics Options] in the swkotor.ini file in your games folder or IT WILL NOT WORK!
    It should look like this:
    [Graphics Options]
    Width=3440
    Height=1440
I recommend installing the mod Very Nice! Load Screens for KotOR as well!

    Uninstallation
Remove the files from your Overdrive folder and restore your original swkotor.exe

    Compatibility
This mod works with the K1R mod, but install it after installing K1R

  20. Saving Private Ulgo

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    0.0.1 Release Date: 01.04.2023

    Installation:
Copy & Paste the files inside the "For Override" folder and place them in your swkotor Override folder.

    Description:
This mod is a "Joke Mod" that was made for April Fools day 2023.
What this mod does is that it swaps the head models of Carth Onasi and Trask Ulgo, and that's it. The mod "saves" Trask Ulgo, for a certain point of view, by making it so that Carth is the one who sacrifices himself to Bandon whilst Trask becomes your companion on Taris. This mod ONLY swaps the models around, meaning "Trask Onasi" will still have all of Carth's dialogues and such untouched.

  23. K1 Even EXP

    About
    =====
By default, NPC party members receive 80% of the EXP that is earned by your main character; this means that you have to earn an additional 25% EXP for those party members to reach the same levels. This mod changes it so that they receive 100% of the experience instead.

This is less impactful with default difficulty settings, but helps quite a bit at higher difficulties and also when using mods that raise the required experience to reach certain levels. It will also help your NPCs carry if you're saving levels during Taris.

I also feel this helps immersion a little. I personally dislike the implication that your party members are less capable at improving as you are, especially when multiple of them have backgrounds as seasoned veterans.

I would highly recommend reviewing the Experience article in Strategy Wiki for more context:
    https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Experience

  24. K1 EXP Multiplier

    About
    =====
I personally don't like the higher difficulty levels as they only change damage and don't make the game all-around harder. The amount of effort to make every enemy all-around stronger is monumental, so the easier approach would be to make your character all-around weaker. I'm using this with the `normal` difficulty, but you can absolutely combine this with a harder difficulty.

This mod changes the values in `exptable.2da` multiplicatively so that you can change your rate of leveling.
Here's the list of multipliers you can use:
    0.25x
    0.5x
    0.75x
    1.0x
    1.25x
    1.5x
    1.75x
    2.0x
    2.25x
    2.5x
    2.75x
    3.0x

The experience tables for these multipliers can be viewed in `EXP Tables.txt`. As a reference point: 1.0x (default) amount of EXP required to reach level 20 is 190000; if there were no level cap, for level 25 it would be 300000 and for level 30 it would be 435000. The amount of experience required to reach level 20 with 2.0x is 380000; for 1.5x it's 285000 and for 2.5x it's 475000. So reaching level cap in 1.5x would be similar to reaching level 25 in 1.0x and level cap in 2.5x would be similar to reaching level 30 in 1.0x.

It is worth noting that you'll be lower level throughout your run, so your enemies will have a higher challenge rating which will give you more EXP for killing them. Conversely, you'll receive less EXP for computer use and repair as those are multiplied by your current level. I haven't fully tested this, but I anticipate this balance working well in our favor so that the amount of effort to reach level cap scales less aggressively than the multiplier indicates. I'm not sure if I should change the CR tables to compensate for this.

I would highly recommend reviewing the Experience article in Strategy Wiki for more context:
    https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Experience

    Installation
    =========
To install this mod, select and stick an `exptable.2da` file in `Overrides`.

    Compatibility
    ===========
This mod does change the experience level required for level 2 so you will need a mod to avoid the forced leveling on the Endar Spire. I'm personally using this one which is part of Snigaroo's build:

In the future, I might consider fixing level 2 to match the EXP required in 1.0x since it doesn't really change the experience either way.

    Credits
    ======
Lastly I would like to give credit to Zulkain who made a mod that inspired this one. I personally didn't like the approach of +1000 EXP or +2500 EXP per level as that only puts you behind 1 or 2.5 levels, so I went with a multiplicative approach instead.
    Zulkain's mod is here:

  25. K1 Movie-Style Dark Side Transitions

    K1 Movie-Style Dark Side Transitions 3.0

    Background:
This is a part of a larger upscale project for a set of mods that was released in the early days of KOTOR modding by the iconic ShemL. Here in 2023, with the abundance of upscale work being done on many of the game's textures, I found some of my favorite mods to be left behind with it's original textures which did not seem to mesh well with modern wide-screen play. I decided to upscale this mod along with some others that I do plan on releasing for public use. All files have been 4x'ed in size with the goal of increasing the quality and pixel density of the images to be more in line with the upscaled texture mods we see today. (Think Ultimate Character Overhaul by ShiningRedHD.) All credit goes to Shem, the previous author for all of the hard work and originality. I will note, I have included two of my own personal edits to one of the male heads. Included in a separate folder. I hope the community enjoys this revival as much as I have. With Shem authorizing the use of his assets in other creations, be on the lookout for other upscaling projects from me in the future. For others that want to use Shem's assets, or question whether or not this should be done, please visit this reddit comment detailing his permission regarding the use of his work in other releases. https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/11p0me0/looking_to_contact_shem_an_inactive_mod_author/
