  1. I'm playing KOTOR and Trask runs up to a door and says, "There's something behind here." It takes a few seconds longer than it should. Then Darth Bandon appears, but doesn't ignite his lightsaber. Trask says, "Damn, another Dark Jedi. I'll try to hold him off. You get to the escape pods, go!" After this, the game doesn't exit the dialogue. It doesn't freeze, but Trask just repeats the angry animation where he shakes his fists to infinity. I have no idea what's causing this bug and no idea how to fix it. Also, I did not install JC's Republic Soldier Fix because as far as I know, it's part of the K1CP mod. I've tried installing and reinstalling everything at least 3 times. I'm at my wit's end. Please help! View File Saving Private Ulgo A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.0.1 Release Date: 01.04.2023 Installation: Copy & Paste the files inside the "For Override" folder and place them in your swkotor Override folder. Description: This mod is a "Joke Mod" that was made for April Fools day 2023. What this mod does is that it swaps the head models of Carth Onasi and Trask Ulgo, and that's it. The mod "saves" Trask Ulgo, for a certain point of view, by making it so that Carth is the one who sacrifices himself to Bandon whilst Trask becomes your companion on Taris. This mod ONLY swaps the models around, meaning "Trask Onasi" will still have all of Carth's dialogues and such untouched. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: Bioware: For such an amazing game! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! =Trask Ulgo Without Tutorials= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION AUTHOR: Leilukin FILE NAME: Trask Ulgo Without Tutorials.7z LATEST VERSION: 1.0.1 CONTACT: E-mail to leilukin@outlook.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1. DESCRIPTION: This mod removes the tutorial elements from the game. For the Endar Spire, the removed in-game tutorial elements include: Trask Ulgo and Carth Onasi's tutorial dialogues on the Endar Spire The Security skill requirement to open the second door on the Endar Spire The requirement to equip a melee weapon to enter the bridge The levelling up requirement to exit the bridge The tutorials in the computer and droid repair screens In addition, this also removes the workbench tutorials on Taris, and the galaxy map tutorial on the Ebon Hawk. This mod is inspired by darthbdaman's Tutorial Remover mod. However, the key difference is my mod keeps Trask as your party member in the first area of the Endar Spire. My mod is made for players who do not wish to go through the tutorials again when replaying KotOR, but still wants Trask a party member to help them to fight through the first area of the Endar Spire. In order for this mod to take effect, you need to start a completely new game. For the best experience with this mod, it is also recommended to turn off the tutorial pop-ups in the setting menu. 2. INSTALLATION: Extract the Trask Ulgo Without Tutorials.7z file you downloaded to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KotOR directory. Run Install.exe, point the installer to your KotOR directory, where swkotor.exe is located, and let the installer do its job. If you have installed other mods, when you install my mod, you may receive warnings about the installer skipping at least one .mod file because it already exists in your Modules folder. Do not need to worry about those warnings, as it is just the way I set up the installer to ensure my mod will be installed properly if you are not using any other mods. When you install this mod, a new folder named "backup" will be created by the installer in the same folder as the installer. Do not delete the folder or the file within the folder if you want to uninstall this mod. The "Source" folder includes the source of the scripts used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 3. UNINSTALLATION: Go to the "backup" folder created by the installer of this mod, cut and paste the MOD files into the Modules folder in your KotOR directory. The MOD files include: ebo_m12aa.mod end_m01aa.mod end_m01ab.mod tar_m02af.mod tar_m10ac.mod Go to the Override folder in your KotOR directory, and delete k_pend_door01.ncs. 4. KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any bugs or problems, please let me know. 5. MOD COMPATIBILITY: This mod is compatible with KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP). I recommend installing my mod after K1CP. If you want to use KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R), you need to install this mod after K1R. This mod is compatible with Marius Fett's Carth's Republic Uniform and Flight Suit. This mod is compatible with Revanator's Custom Class Items. This mod is not compatible with darthbdaman's Tutorial Remover and Jedi From the Start. Any other mod that modifies Trask's dialogue will likely conflict with this mod. 6. PERMISSION: You may use assets from this mod as part of your mod, but you must credit me as the creator of these assets. 7. 7. View File Effixian's Trask Ulgo Player Character ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Knights of the Old Republic - The Sith Lords ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TITLE: Effixian's Trask Ulgo Player Character AUTHORS: Effix(ian) CONTACT: PM me on the forums or find me on Steam ------------------------- INSTALLATION ------------------------- Unzip somewhere and run the file "TSLPatcher - Install Effixian's Trask PC.exe". ------------------------ DESCRIPTION ------------------------ This mod enables you to play as Trask Ulgo from KotOR 1. His files are in the KotOR 2 files (like many files from the first game) so it was a matter of enabling him to be picked as your player character and adding the missing portraits and dark side transitions. He wears the Republic Soldier uniform as underwear and default clothing. I made his eyes slightly more blue. There's no zombie look because I'm not a fan of that myself and there wasn't really a texture to easily reuse. Full dark side does get the yellow movie style Sith eyes and his hair becomes fully gray, half way to dark you get a mix of the two extremes. This mod shouldn't conflict with any other mod. Requested by Gooey on Steam. You can use this with a K1 Trask HD mod, you just need to rename some files (and probably settle for no dark side transitions if you don't get creative yourself). ------------------------------------- BUGS/KNOWN ISSUES ------------------------------------- Like with all characters that have their own custom clothing, things can look glitchy in the character creator, but things will be fine after that. ------------------------- UNINSTALLING ------------------------- 1. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 20.06.2021 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. WARNING: If you wish to use Gloveless Sith Officers and Albino Sith Officers at the same time, please install Gloveless Sith Officers FIRST and Albino Sith Officers SECOND! Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: July 15 2003 was the day Kotor 1 was released for the first time on Xbox. If you've played Kotor on the Xbox or have played my Knights of the Old XBOX mod then you might be aware that the Xbox version and the PC version of these games are different, but what if I told you there was a 3rd version of Kotor which you might not have heard of before? Between 2002 and early 2003, the original Kotor website published a series of images which ranged from concept art to promotional screenshots of the game during its Beta/Pre-Release stage of development. Whilst these promotional screenshots might appear worse than the vanilla game (As these are pre-release/in-development screenshots), a few eagle eyed observers might notice some features in said screenshots which the vanilla game lacks. What this mod will do is add these features into the vanilla PC game. WARNING: Please be sure to consult the mod's screenshots before installing (Or ask the mod author in the comments), the installer for this mod is modular allowing you to install things at your leisure, however, some features might be perceived as lower quality than others so it is recommended to be 100% sure of what you want to install before installing anything. None of the features should break your game, it's merely a matter of your own opinion on whether or not you like the aesthetic of a specific feature or not. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Gloveless Jedi Robes do not receive the grey Dark Side transitions, meaning the player character will have a grey head with normal hands. The best way to fix this would be to use a mod which removes the Dark Side transitions. Incompatibilities: Would be incompatible with any mods which modifies Mission Vao's body/underwear/head texture and portraits, Trask Ulgo's unique head texture and portraits, Jedi Robe textures and models, Sith Officer body/head textures or models Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: Bioware: For such an amazing game Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool Stoffee: For TSLPatcher Everyone who downloads the mod! Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE-MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.
  10. View File Tutorial Remover This is a mirror. The main file can be found on Nexusmods. Updates will be found, and feedback should be directed, there. Summary This mod removes all of the fourth wall breaks and tutorial sections that crop up at the beginning of the game. If you turn off tutorial pop-ups, you will not receive a single tutorial message or informative instruction, designed to take you out of the game, and teach you something that you already found out in your other dozen playthroughs of the Endar Spire. Trask is completely gone (though you might find the aftermath of his fight with Darth Bandon), and the player now escapes the Endar Spire without his nagging instructions. You can now power through the intro of the game if you like. Doors have been unlocked, allowing the player to progress through the level without being forced to using battle droids or melee weapons to approach combat situations. These features are also available in my Jedi from the Start mod, which also allows you to start as a Jedi. Features All tutorial elements removed from the Endar Spire and Taris Requirements & Compatibility Installation Start the Installer.exe file (The tslpatchdata folder must stay in the same folder as the Installer.exe). You install the mod by clicking the Install Mod button. The mod is now installed You must uninstall all version older than 1.4.1 before installing version 1.4.1. Tutorial Remover should be installed on a new installation, with KotOR 1 Community Patch or KotOR 1 Restoration already installed if you plan to use them Compatibility The mod is fully compatible with KotOR 1 Community Patch. Install Tutorial Remover after The mod is fully compatible with KotOR 1 Restoration. Install Tutorial Remover after The mod is fully compatible with Carth's Republic Uniform and Flight Suit Most mods should be compatible, unless they edit the Endar Spire, or the Taris Appartment Jedi from the Start is not compatible, but it does exactly the same things as this mod, making this redundant if you use that Recommended Mods Jedi from the Start does the same things as this mod, but also lets you be a Jedi Other Links If you would like to know what else I am working on, you can follow me on my Twitter. 12. Version 1.4.1

    1,682 downloads

This is a mirror.
