  1. I'm a staunch vanilla player and like my mods least intrusive as possible but still enough of a mod that gives the game some new life. I've always liked Rece's Upgradeable Robes but it's an old mod by today's standard, but I like what it adds to the game. I also really like this newer mod by @PirateofRohan that reorganizes the robes in-game into "tiers" allocating one pattern to basic/knight/master along with the layered contrasting color schemes. The unfortunate thing is that they don't mix well together! Both mods running will limit the variety of the Three-Tiered robe choices and I'd like to keep them. Is there way (or better yet, someone) to make a mod the fully incorporates these two elements together without it conflicting? I've contacted both authors of the mod but I don't think any of them wants to bother. I would definitely love this option if it were made though!
  2. I only just realized this with my latest install. Thanks for your input regardless! Any information is better than none (especially one who's relatively new to mods).
  3. Any chance on fixing the "Bastilla002.utc" file that causes the cut-start bug after Unknown World?
  4. Ought not to be. I'm a strict vanilla player; I keep things where they are and just change the cosmetics mostly. The last thing I put in was @Tk664 Korriban mod and that shouldn't have touched any of it. It's why I'm looking at the Ultimate Endar Spire to see if anything in there is screwing around.
  5. So I've installed some new mods, started a new game, and am finding issues that are causing a texture "blinking" or animating bug specifically on these "Plasteel Cylinders," and I'm trying to figure what they're called in the game's files to find the problem. I've had this encounter before with animations for certain placeables conflicting with their respective specular traits but can't for the life of me think what it could be for the cylinders as I haven't got anything in the Override folder that would have to do anything with having them animate. My current thinking is that something from the "Ultimate Endar Spire" mod I recently installed is the cause (I'm running it without Reshade) and it's conflicting with something else.
It's such a quiet thing--to fall...From rags to even lesser rags. It's such a subtle change this, I hardly noticed it at all at first but it works!
I'm a staunch Vanilla purist when it comes to my mods and the K1CP logo being available as its own is just perfect.
What can I say? Simple and clean. I like it (920 Centered is the best one).
  6. Damn, do I wish this was K1R compatible! I really like your mods!
Never leaves my K1 override folder; a much-have.
Great mod! I also have this with some files from Dark Hope's "Astromech Droid HD" and TSL robots have never looked better.
  7. I've noticed there's an issue with "leh_hyper01.txi," it reads 0 bytes in the folder. Is this a bug in the upload? It doesn't create the hyperspace loop in the Ebon Hawk cockpit; it's just static. EDIT: Nvm, it's just another one of the many bugs in this game.
If you're not playing K1 or K2 with this mod, you're missing out. I'm running it on the 'legacybeta' version through Steam (uniws and all that) and if that means I can't run the "Extended Enclave" mods or whatever mods that needs the Aspyr update---they conflict with lightsaber textures---so be it. This is essential, in my book.
I took time to install this once before and aside from a new nitpicks (OT-era Empire uniforms on some Sith Captains), I love what it does. What I hate is how buggy K2 is even after all the fixes. I encountered a game-ender bug hardcoded in the game pretty late-game and wound up having to reinstall a number of mods. ...This didn't make the cut unfortunately and why it got docked one star. This is a pain in the ass to reinstall, having to repopulate each area. I know it's the only way to make it happen but having to do the areas at a time (finding the same file locations 40 times), I couldn't bother. This mod is great for those who do!
Incredible. An essential must-have for K2. The scene is finally what it's supposed to be.
The textures themselves look nice, and in certain areas actually look great, but the wide use of the same ones repeatedly over the same surface on the ground and on some of the buildings is really busy looking and kind of nauseating to look at. Until there's a better HD retexture for Nar Shaddaa on the site, I guess this will do.
Good idea but, oof, I play as a Consular starting out and this whoops my ass.
Lovely color loadscreens! I've used these (with permission) as a base to mod my own loadscreens, adding back the CRT filters, blue-indigo color saturation, and better quality vector art that the original vanilla game had. These won't be leaving my Override folders for some time.
Never leaves my override folder. Make using grenades worthwhile and enemies using grenades a genuine worry. Great fun.
  8. You've done a great service! I play with this mod all the time and I would've never suspected.
  9. 2021 check-in: I'm bumping this thread because I'm encountering this, too. I've yet to try the "Override cut" fix but I'm desperate to try something as this has been happening over several fresh installs. So is it a problem with vanilla KotOR then? I'm not using the Bastila mods listed earlier in this thread and I'm getting the "invisible Bastila on the Leviathan" bug and the "black screen of death." Here are my list of mods for further help: EDIT: Quick update--this solution works but it isn't very satisfactory. I would really love to find the culprit of this.
