    Improved AI

I've used this for nearly early playthrough of KOTOR 2, after seeing it in the /r/kotor subreddit 'mod build', and I really do appreciate the changes you made. However, I've discovered a bug that's wrecked havoc on my enjoyment: my Jedi characters will randomly spam Force Powers without my input. I was running through the Czerka base on Telos with Kreia and Bao-Dur, and it happened almost constantly. After defeating one group of enemies, Kreia figured we were still in combat, but with no enemies to attack, she just spammed Force Powers for two rounds. Or, about a minute after combat ended, I realized that my PC was still wounded and used Kreia to heal her... only for Kreia to decide to use Energy Resistance after I tabbed away. Or, when I went to use a workbench to upgrade a weapon, my PC decided that the 'weapon flourish' after the workbench meant we were in combat, so decided to use Force Aura. In each case, the characters were on 'Aggressive Style', not 'Jedi Support'. I'm not sure if you're still around, but if so, would it be possible for you to check this part of your mod's changes to NPC AI? I'm specifically wondering if you could adjust the Aggressive Style changes, so characters in the party don't use Force Powers automatically when that setting is used, but I have to manually trigger them.
  2. Sorry about that, the outfits are from Cloaked Jedi Robes. EDIT: thanks for your help in figuring out how I messed up the installation of the robes, btw. I'll work on making those before/after screenshots available soon. For now, you can click on the link to HD Vrook to compare the vanilla skin vs. Dark Hope's version vs. my recolor. EDIT: screenshots are now posted, and you can directly compare all three versions: my recolor vs. Dark Hope's original vs. upscaled vanilla.
  3. View File HD Vrook Recolored Like most of you, I loved @Dark Hope's reskin for Jedi Master Vrook, 'HD Vrook'. However, I thought that the mod's changes to his skin tone -- from warm and healthy to pale and decidedly old -- fit far better for his appearance in KOTOR 2. With her permission, I took Dark Hope's HD Vrook as a base and added a bit of warmth to Vrook's skin tone, to suit his appearance in KOTOR 1. You can see this mod's texture in the image below, or compare it with other mod's textures in the screenshots above. 1 - HD Vrook Recolored (this mod) 2 - HD Vrook (Dark Hope's original) 3 - upscaled vanilla Vrook (textures from Ultimate Character Overhaul) Thanks to @Effix for helping me fix a texture error in my robes for the screenshot. 5. View File TSL Widescreen Logos A mod for people who like the clean look of the original TSL logo, but also want reasonable clear graphics suited for a widescreen setup. This started as a few modifications to the TSL logo for my own use, trying to see what worked best. I started with the high-resolution version of the TSL logo used by DarthParametric for the KOTOR 2 Community Patch (K2CP). I then resized it a few times, recentered and reoriented it a few times, and took screenshots as I went to compare. This is *not* a widescreen mod. This is a logo replacer intended for people who are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. (Check out the subreddit mod build and follow the directions!) I am personally using a 1920x1080 widescreen setup with the Steam patch of the game. I cannot guarantee your results will look like mine. Install Instructions: - Download and unzip the mod. - Look through the 'screenshots' folder to compare the different options and pick one for yourself. - Find your chosen folder, copy the image (KOTOR2logo.tga) file within that folder, and paste it to your Override folder in KOTOR 2. If none of the options work for you, I've also included the raw source files so you can easily make your own. ------------- How to Make Your Own: - Download and unzip the mod - Look through the 'source files' folder and open the raw logo.png file in your preferred photo editor (I use paint.net) - Resize the base image as desired. - Select the whole image, deselect all 100% transparent pixels, copy - Open whatever KOTOR2logo.tga file you wish to use as a reference; create a new layer on that image. - Paste the raw logo image onto the new layer, then move it around to the desired location. - Delete the original layer and 'Save As' a new logo file (ideally in a new folder) - Copy that new KOTOR2logo.tga file to 'Override' and start the game to see how it looks. ------------- Credits: My thanks to DarthParametric for making the original K2CP logo image available to me via Discord. 7. View File KOTOR Widescreen Logos This is intended as a one-stop shop for all widescreen logos available for KOTOR 1. Upscaled vanilla style, Origin logos, and a TOR-style variant made by GOG; they're all here. All logos provided are 1024x1024, large enough for even ultra high-def widescreen setups. This is *not* a widescreen mod. This is a logo replacer intended for people who are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. (Check out the subreddit mod build and follow the directions!) Instructions: - Download and unzip the mod. - Look through the 'screenshots' folder (or check out the images provided above) to compare the different options and pick one for yourself. - Find your chosen folder, copy the image (logo_sw_02.tga) file within that folder, and paste it to the Override folder in KOTOR 1. ------------- Credits: 01 K1CP Logo: this was the version seen above -- a higher resolution version of the original KOTOR logo, used by @DarthParametric as the logo for the 'Kotor 1 Community Patch' (K1CP). DarthParametric made a similar 'Vanilla Logo - Upscaled' available in their 'K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix' mod, as did @Riisis in the 'HD Logo and Bigger Hud' mod. (Here's a screenshot of the first one; here's a screenshot of the second one). I much prefer the version used on the front page of K1CP, as it is a fair bit brighter with a bit more color saturation. 02 Origin Logo: this was the logo used by the Origin release of the game, recolored by them to match the TSL game's logo. 03 Origin Logo - Darker Color: I tried to match the original coloration of the first game, a slightly less 'bleached' look. 04 Origin Logo - Vanilla Stye: I tried to match the original size of the separator element (the part with the 'of the'). 05 Origin Logo - Vanilla, Darker: I tried to match both the style and coloration of the original logo with the Origin graphics 06 TOR Logo: this was the logo used by the GOG release of the game. It was made available by DarthParametric as an optional logo replacer for his 'K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix 1.2'. (Specifically look under 'OPTIONAL' > 'TOR-Style Logo - Centered'). He kindly made the original available via Discord, from which I made this logo image. Submitter Publicola Submitted 12/20/2021 Category Mods K1R Compatible Yes
