    Beautified Sabers for TSL 
     
    Reskinned Saber blades:
    More pronounced cores for all blades. Sharper appearance for all blades. The silver crystal is now referred to as a "Kaiburr" color crystal. Four new color crystal types with unique blades:
    Indigo Obsidian Pink Rakatan (Neon Yellow)  
    Retextured saber hilts for each type of saber.

  2. Darkstar Gear

    This is a simple mod that adds a set of equipment based on my character Elwood Darkstar. It adds an implant, visor, gloves, a shield/armband, a wristlauncher, a belt and a set of armor. They have been added to the footlocker in your room on the Harbinger. See the screenshots for stats.

  4. KOTOR2 Computer Use and Repair Skill Swap

    Mod Title: KOTOR2 Computer Use and Repair Skill Swap 1.1

    Description-
    Something that always bothered me from a lore perspective was the fact that the Consular got the repair skill and the Sentinel got computer use as part of their respective class skill sets. This is all fine from a balancing perspective, but I was always confused how a class that dedicates itself to research, diplomacy, and Force usage has a more practical worldly skill. In the same vein, Sentinels are considered to be slicers, but why aren’t they adept at repairing things as the lore suggests?
     
    On that note, I also thought that a Jedi career that includes researchers and historians within its ranks would probably be better handling computers than machinery. So, to keep everything balanced skill-wise, the Consular and its corresponding Prestige Classes (Master and Lord) now have Computer Use. The Sentinel and its corresponding Prestige classes (Watchman and Assassin) now have Repair as a class skill.
     
    I also made computer use a class skill for the Scoundrel and removed it from the scout’s skill list, similar to the Scoundrel and Scout classes from the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars RPG Core Rulebook.
     
    All classes mentioned in the changelog below will be affected for both your player character and your respective NPCs. E.g. Kreia and Atton will have Computer use, Visas will have repair, etc.
     

    Installation-
    Copy and paste or drag and drop the skills.2da and feat.2da files into your override folder.
     
    Uninstallation-
    Delete the associated skills.2da and feat.2da files from your override folder.
     
    Incompatibilities-
    Anything that also modifies the skills.2da and feat.2da files will probably not work.

    Description:
    While I was searching the game files for TSL I discovered the K1 Skyboxes for Dantooine were still in the TSL game files. I also discovered
    the grass on Onderon was also very similar to the K1 Dantooine grass so I made this mod. What this mod does is retexture the Dantooine grass
    and skyboxes to look like the Skyboxes and grass in K1.
     
    This mod includes no ported content from K1 into TSL. All assets used were already within the TSL game files.
     
    Known Bugs:
    The very top of the Dantooine Outdoor Modules is a different color to the rest of the skyboxes. I will address this when I find the correct texture for it or am able to make a custom one
     
    Incompatibilities:
    Is incompatible with anything that changes the Dantooine grass or skybox

  6. A Closer View

    This is a simple mod which alters the distance and height of the camera in TSL by altering values inside camerastyle.2da to bring you closer to your character.
     
    I created this mod because I always felt the camera was too far away from my own character and I couldn't see the facial expressions good enough. This mod helps to feel more immersed in the world as your character and less that you are controlling a little puppet far away. I realize this may not be for everybody so just try it and see if you like it.
     

    Installation should be simple, just drag and drop into override folder.
     

    Bugs: None known.

  7. [K2] Star Forge Robes in Ebon Hawk container

    Unfortunately, for whatever reason kotor 2 uses the same names for multiple references in the game. This is not an issue for an unmodded game because the files have directories. The problem is when the game is forced to load one of these files (via override folder) and the game will no longer be bothered to differentiate between the games original files.

    This is entirely my fault for not testing enough and assuming the game is as modifiable as other titles. I currently do not possess the time to find a workaround for this issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
     
    Update v1.1
    Unfortunately this version has conflicts with the decontamination room on in the Peragus hanger now. Use at your own risk.
     
    The prologue bug has been fixed! 
    In order to fix the prologue bug,  I now edit the Ebon Hawk Container (Davik's spice container from K1) not the hidden compartment. This means the robes are open to you as soon as you leave Peragus (assuming your character finds them)
    Be sure use the "Updated" file! I will leave up 1.0 but be aware it will cause issues with the prologue.
     
    Important:
    This mod must be installed before boarding the Ebon Hawk on Peragus.
     
    Description: 
    Simply adds the Star Forge Robes (g_a_revan_02 from Indiana_Revan77's "REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL") to the hidden compartment on the Ebon Hawk... I like to think that Revan hid them away for something more stylish. Or perhaps the savior of the Republic left them behind for some other reason. We will never know for sure...

    This is the only place where I could believably place the Star Forge Robes without leaving a note or something to force it to make sense. Indiana_Revan77's mod allows you to craft them, but I think it's sort of silly to craft something as legendary as the Star Forge Robes from buckets of components at a workbench, so I added a (somewhat) lore friendly place for them 
     
    Requirements:

    TSLRCM
    without these installed, they will not appear at all!!!
     
    Compatibility:

    Install Indiana_Revan77 for REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL. You will have to run the TSL patcher and probably direct it to your Kotor2 install directory.
    Extract then merge the the provided Override folder with the one in Knights of the Old Republic II\override
    OR just drop the single file "ebcont001.utp" into your Override folder
    If you don't have an Override folder you probably didn't install REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL, go back to step 1

    Upload, edit or translate this as you please, if you must, include the requirements and credits, credit for me is not required.

    This is a collection of simple reskins of the Ebon Hawk's exterior. I hope the screenshots speak for themselves.
    The textures are upscaled, but some screenshots are from before I did that. I've split up the downloads so you don't have to download 350 MB if you'd rather not.
    I also have a "Black" set where the metallic looking parts look almost black.

    I've tried to add (upscaled) bump map support, but I currently use the Steam version which simply ignores it. Also, it might not be that visible if it does work.
    You will still see the original version on the minimap and of course in the cutscene movies.

  9. Pathfinderesque Progression

    This is a very simple mod that changes the skill and feat progression to be more like Pathfinder than D&D3.5.
     
    The big difference in Pathfinder is that all classes get a feat every other level by default. Also, one can always buy skills up to one's level with one point per skill level regardless of class. This gives you much more flexibility regarding character creation, though you are unfortunately still heavily limited by your class+int modifier (poor Fighters).
     
    What I've done is give all combat classes one feat per level, as the Fighter. All others receive one every other level. All skills are now class skills for every class, with obvious exceptions like Treat Injury for droids.

  10. Ultrawide UI & dialog/letterboxing fix (for UniWS, 21:9)

    This mod fixes UI stretching that happens when playing K2 on ultrawide resolutions (21:9). In addition, even after patching the game .exe with UniWS to play in ultrawide, your character's replies are invisible, making the game impossible to play. I provide a method to fix this issue (using Hex editing).
    Simply fixing the UI stretching is unsatisfactory, as the game UI is not adapted for ultrawide screens. This results in an elongated, ugly and impractical UI. The text boxes are too large,the buttons too wide and too spread out on the screen. As a result, interacting with the UI is tiresome and requires way too much eye and mouse motion. Therefore I opted to redesign the game UI so that everything is centered on the screen and easier to access. The downside is that many spots are left black, which is not visually pleasing.
    I believe the letterboxing fix can be useful to people running 1366x768 and who cannot see dialogs.
     
    Disclaimer:
    This mod was only tested with the GoG version of the game (i.e. without the Aspyr patch), upscaled using UniWS to 3440x1440. I do not know how the UI files would look using either Flawless Widescreen or the Aspyr version. I have not tried any other ultrawide resolution.
    The UI fix is not fully tested, and some parts of the game may still contain some stretched elements.
     
    Installation instructions - stretched UI:
    Simply download and extract ultrawide_ui_fixes.zip, then copy the files from the downloaded override folder into your game override folder.
     
    Installation instructions - letterboxing fix:
    Here is the entire procedure to properly patch your game exe so that it runs in ultrawide. We are aiming at doing 3 things:
    1. Use UniWS to automatically patch your swkotor2.exe to the right resolution, following this video 2. Manually Hex edit your swkotor2.exe to play movies in your native resolution, following this video. The hidden benefit is that it will speed up your game loading because you will not have to change resolutions to play the logos movie. 3. Manually Hex edit the game to change the letterboxing scaling, restoring your ability to see dialog options in game. In K1, this was done by the excellent  KotOR High Resolution Menus, but there seems to be no equivalent for K2. Before doing any of this, backup your game exe !!
     
    1. I will not provide any instruction for step 1 because UniWS is pretty straightforward.
     
    2. Even though step 2 is well explaines in Xuul's video, I will provide here text instructions.
    Once you have performed step 1, you need to download and install a hex editor (such as HxD). Open your swkotor2.exe with your hexadecimal editor, and look for the Hex strings:
    80 02 00 00 75 15 81 3D E8 C1 80 00 E0 01 80 02 00 00 C7 44 24 10 E0 01 In both these lines, 80 02 and E0 01 are the width (respectively height) at which videos are played, in hexadecimal. You need to change them with your desired width and height.
    First, use a hexadecimal converter to convert your desired width and height into hexadecimal. For the hexadecimal values to be read by the game, you need to swap the digits pair-wise for each value (if that is not clear, an example is provided below). Finally, you can replace 80 02 and E 01 by your own values in the lines above.
    Example: for 3440x1440. First you convert them to hexadecimal, giving 0D 70 and 05 A0. Then you swap the two pairs of figures, giving 70 0D and A0 05. Then you just need to replace 80 02 by 70 0D, and E0 01 by A0 05. The resulting lines should look like:
    70 0D 00 00 75 15 81 3D E8 C1 80 00 A0 05 70 0D 00 00 C7 44 24 10 A0 05 That was step 2. Don't close the hex editor, we still have one step to do.
     
    3. For step 3, we need to locate the letterbox scaling value into the game exe. You need to locate the hex string
    5F 70 00 00 B9 6D DB 3E 20 EE 70 00 00 A7 40 00 The value of the letterbox scaling is B9 6D DB 3E. This is too small, making the bottom part of the letterbox -hence your dialog options-  invisible on ultrawide. You need to replace it with a higher value ( 4A 92 A4 3E, as suggested for widescreen by K1 HR Menus works fine, but feel free to enter your own value). You need to replace B9 6D DB 3E with 4A 92 A4 3E, giving:
    5F 70 00 00 4A 92 A4 3E 20 EE 70 00 00 A7 40 00 Now save and enjoy !
     
    Known issues:
    the feat/power selection tree, at character creation or levelling up doesn't look nice and there's too much space between the icons. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to scale like the rest of the UI, and I don't know how to fix it for now loading screens still look stretched, the solution here is to edit the loading screens directly and not the UI I did not rescale the pazaak screen, as I would also need to rescale the background pazaak texture for it not to be ugly  
    Incompatibilities:
    This mod will not be compatible with any mod that alters the UI. The only I can think of right now is TSL galaxy map fix pack, at least the version which changes the planet position. My mod will put the planet positions to their vanilla spot.

    Fixes all robes that weren't marked as upgradeable in their description. This should work universally with TSLRCM, M478-EP and Vanilla TSL, but does not yet work with 90SK's TSL Loot & Immersion Upgrade or anything else it would overwrite.
    Use it however you want, as usual just throw a mention my way.

    This mod adds a Togruta player character that's based on Ahsoka Tano.
    The dark side transition is basic, she gets movie style Sith eyes.
    The underwear is based on the outfit of a Twi'lek NPC.
    The clothing is a tweaked version of my Mission Vao Jacket mod, which is a reskin of the K1 scout outfit.
    There's a custom Dancer's Outfit based on Bastila's Robe model. I've included a file to give the Dancer's Outfit item some stats, in case you want to turn it into something that's more than just looks.

    There's clipping issues with the lekku in combination with some outfits.
    The head doesn't connect perfectly to the underwear model.
    The custom clothing can cause some wrong textures in the character creator, but things will be fine once you start playing.

    This mod is a new sword model, based on the Silver Sword of Gith
    from Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansion, Mask of the Betrayer.
    The weapon is not available in-game as it's a bit too high-fantasy
    to fit.

    INSTALLATION

    1. Unzip somewhere and run the file "TSLPatcher - Install TSL Effixians HK Metallic Skins.exe". This step is simply to enable the metallic shine.
    2. Pick an appearance you like (See the Screenshots folder). Go into the Textures folder and into the subfolder of your liking. Copy the files in there to your override folder.
    The override folder is a subfolder in the game's main folder, you need to create it if you've never added a mod before.

    STEAM VERSION
    ***************
    You can use this mod with the Steam version of the game, simply point the installer to the location of the game.
    If you're using the Steam version of TSLRCM (or the combo with M4-78) then you need to point the installer to its Workshop folder.
    This mod is not compatible with my HK-47 Steam mods if you do so, the textures in those mods don't work in combination with the metallic shine.

    DESCRIPTION

    This is pretty much a spin-off from my non metallic HK reskins.
    This mod enables a metallic shine for the HK droids. Next to that it gives various texture/portrait options to use with that change.
    To demonstrate different lighting conditions; the left part of the screenshots is inside the Ebon Hawk, the right side is on Dantooine, next to the Ebon Hawk.

    HK-50 & HK-51

    Next to HK-47 this mod also makes HK-50 & HK-51 able to get the metallic shine. Like with HK-47, you need to do some manual work for the texture files part. You need to copy-rename-copy-paste texture files.
    HK-50's file should be: C_HK50.tga
    HK-51's file should be: C_HK51.tga
    So you pick a file (P_hk47_01.tga, the other one is a portrait and not needed) from the Textures folder of your choice, make a copy of it, rename it to C_HK50.tga and/or C_HK51.tga and move those file(s) to your override folder.

    Description:
    While on Nar Shadda you can do a quest were you have to dance for Vogga the Hutt. you or one of your party memebers
    must wear a slave outfit in order to do the dance though. Though this wouldn't be noticable at first glance but I found a texture in Kotor Tool that actually looks like another dancers outfit icon.
    Though if you look at it carefully it looks very similar to the dancers outfit leia wore in episode 6 return of the jedi so what this mod does is replaces the icon for the dancer outfit with
    this one.
     
    Known Bugs:
    this mod shouldn't have bugs but if their is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
     
    Incompatibilities:
    Is incompatiable with anything that edits "ia_slave_001.tag" though I don't know anything that edits that.

    many guns are not upgradeable, and that makes no sense (developers do really think reforging a blade from a new alloy using only some blowtorch

  21. [K2] Revans Robes in Ebon Hawk container

    Unfortunately, for whatever reason kotor 2 uses the same names for multiple references in the game. This is not an issue for an unmodded game because the files have directories. The problem is when the game is forced to load one of these files (via override folder) and the game will no longer be bothered to differentiate between the games original files.

    This is entirely my fault for not testing enough and assuming the game is as modifiable as other titles. I currently do not possess the time to find a workaround for this issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
     
    Update v1.1
    Unfortunately this version has conflicts with the decontamination room on in the Peragus hanger now. Use at your own risk.
     
    The prologue bug has been fixed! 
    In order to fix the prologue bug,  I now edit the Ebon Hawk Container (Davik's spice container from K1) not the hidden compartment. This means the robes are open to you as soon as you leave Peragus (assuming your character finds them)
    Be sure use the "Updated" file! I will leave up 1.0 but be aware it will cause issues with the prologue.
     
    Important:
    This mod must be installed before boarding the Ebon Hawk on Peragus.
     
    Description: 
    Simply adds Darth Revans robes (g_a_revan_01 from Indiana_Revan77's "REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL") to the hidden compartment on the Ebon Hawk. I like to think Revan had another set somewhere just in case... Or perhaps the Dark Lord left them behind purposely. We will never know for sure...

    This is the only place where I could believably place Revans Robes without leaving a note or something to force it to make sense. Indiana_Revan77's mod allows you to craft them, but I think it's sort of silly to craft something as legendary as Revans Robes from buckets of components at a workbench, so I added a (somewhat) lore friendly place for them 
     
    Requirements:

    TSLRCM
    without these installed, they will not appear at all!!!
     
    Compatibility:
    TSLRCM: TSLRCM is REQUIRED!

    Install Indiana_Revan77 for REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL. You will have to run the TSL patcher and probably direct it to your Kotor2 install directory.
    Extract then merge the the provided Override folder with the one in Knights of the Old Republic II\override
    OR just drop the single file "ebcont001.utp" into your Override folder
    If you don't have an Override folder you probably didn't install REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL, go back to step 1

  23. Get a Grip! Zeison Sha Armour Male Model Fix

    This mod addresses an issue with the vanilla Zeison Sha armour model for males (PMBMM). It appears something happened during its creation by Obsidian that results in the left hand being unable to reach far enough across the body to properly perform a two-handed grip during weapon animations. The model was also undersized compared to the other male models.
    Fixes:
    Scaled the model 102% to bring it in line with the height/size of other medium male models Adjusted some hand and wrist skin weights to minimise bad deformation Swapped to the PMBNM rig to alleviate left arm position/rotation issues Known Issues:
    It seems like swapping to the PMBNM rig may have traded one set of issues for another. There appear to be some deformation problems with the right hand that aren't present when using the original rig. I may swap to a third rig at some point to see if I can find a better solution. The dual melee wielding animations still suffer from the vanilla bug of the off-hand clipping through the hilt. Download @JCarter426's Supermodel Fix for K2. Installation:

    If the Override folder was already created earlier (by installing other mods, etc.), just overwrite the Override folder when copying the files.
