    Train The Handmaiden

    Version 2.0

    1,163 downloads

One of the great things about TSLRCM is that the Exile can teach the party all of the forms that they learn from the Jedi masters. You could teach Atton, Mira, Visas, Bao-Dur, and Disciple all the forms and techniques you learn… wait, shouldn’t Handmaiden be on the list? She ought to be in the first place when she becomes a Jedi! However, there wasn’t any scripting or VO available for the Handmaiden to be trained in the games files nor was there ever an alternate solution. Well, after some script writing and some VO splicing by jc2, you can now teach Handmaiden all the forms just like you could for your other companions! This mod can be installed easily at any time during your playthrough and will take effect when Handmaiden becomes a Jedi. Enjoy!- Mellowtron11 Installation: Run tslpatcher **NOTE** PartySwap by DarthTyren is compatible & Leilukin's Handmaiden Fem Romance & are any other mods that edit handmaiden.dlg Compatible with TSLRCM Incompatible with anything that edits "262bdcg.dlg" see readme for workaround if necessary. See readme for details on how to use. Any feedback, regardless of its nature, is appreciated!

Have you ever wondered why there is a bunch of retextures for every teammate but Hanharr? Even NPCs who are not even part of your party, like atris and sion, have a lot of new texture projects dedicated to them... So why not poor Hanharr? Yes, he is one of the least popular party members, but there are even textures for GOTO, so this can't be the reason alone. The main reason is all that hair, in my honest opinion. It is really a pain in the (swears in Huttish). I couldn't let poor Hanharr sit between all those shiny HD textures looking like he was pulled straight out of an Commodore 64. Frankly, his texture was bad from the beginning, even for 2004 standards. So I remade it. I put a lot of work in this and I hope you like it. Because there is such an abundance of skins for other characters I felt like 1 texture for Hanharr wouldn't do. So I made 2. Version 1 (With Scar) features a scar on his stomach, to show in what condition he is and what he's been through. (Screenshot for reference) Version 2 (Without Scar) just doesn't have that scar If you don't want to have blood and similar content in your game, this Version is for you. Installation: Move the P_Hanharr.dds from the "with scar" or "without scar" folder into your override folder Credits: CGTextures (now just "Textures"): www.textures.com This Eye texture ressource: http://xoriu.deviantart.com/art/MMD-Naturae-Eye-Texture-249285720 and Biowares TGA to DDS converter, here from deadlystream.

=========================================== KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 2 MODIFICATION =========================================== PartySwap 1.3.2 (TSLRCM 1.8.5 REQUIRED) Author: DarthTyren E-Mail: darthtyren@gmail.com ---------- NOTE: Apart from TSLRCM, any mod that edits Kreia's endgame dialog is incompatible with this mod. As is any mod that contains Zuka's dialog on Dxun, unless they merge in installation. In that case, you must install this mod first. Description: This mod allows the player to recruit both Handmaiden and Disciple. It also adds a usable item (adrenal) that will allow you to replace any member of the current party with Handmaiden (wherever appropriate). It also changes the game up a little bit where potentially both can become involved. Installation: First and foremost, make sure that you have TSLRCM 1.8.5 installed in your TSL directory. 1) Unzip the compressed file you downloaded and run the PartySwap Installation TSLPatcher file located inside. 2) If you want to use this mod in conjunction with M4-78EP, choose the appropriate installation. Otherwise, choose the Default installation. 3) Press the Install button and locate your TSL directory where TSLRCM is installed. If there are any errors during installation, let me know immediately. Uninstallation: The TSLPatcher creates backups of all your unmodified files. You can find it in the same folder as the Installer. 1) Inside the backup folder, you should see twelve module files. Cut and paste these files inside the Modules folder in your game directory. Overwrite everything. 2) Inside the backup folder, you should see a file named dialog.tlk. This goes in your root game directory (the same folder with swkotor2.exe). Cut and paste it there. 3) Everything else in the backup folder belongs in the Override folder, so cut and paste it into the Override folder in your game directory. 4) I'm sending out a folder called Override Uninstall with all the original files from this mod. Copy (don't cut) and paste them inside the Override folder in your game directory. Then delete them. 5) Go to your game's StreamVoice\262\ATRISCS3 directory and delete 262ATRISCS3015.mp3. Then go to 402\kumus and delete 402KUMUS46.mp3 and 402KUMUS47.mp3. Then go to 650\krehand1 and delete 650KREHAND1016.mp3 and 650KREHAND1017.mp3. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE. This mod has only been tested with the latest version of TSLRCM. In all likelyhood, if it's compatible with TSLRCM, it's probably compatible with this mod. Sometimes, this might not bethe case, such as files that this mod edits in the module files, other mods might place them in the override folder, so if you find a conflict like this, please let me and the community know. Credits: Fair Strides - Can almost take credit for half the mod getting done, help with scripts, understanding Waypoints and TSLPatcher, etc. Thank you! Special thanks to VarsityPuppet, for teaching me about #include scripts and how I don't need to bother with them. Enjoy. -DarthTyren

Benefits: Potentially, you could have Atton as a level 2 Jedi Sentinel, or simply have more customization of feats/skills/powers than usual. Installation: Unzip and run the tslpatcher, should be compatible with every mod out there. Installation order should be whatever mod that may have the same files, then my mod letting the tslpatcher patch the files for compatibility. As always, I hope you enjoy! Version 2.00b

By Request of an anonymous /r kotor discord user, seconded by 134340Goat. JC2 Presents: Party Leveler K1 Allows the player to fully upgrade each companion from level one, keeping their original class intact as well. If you auto level up your companions, then this might not be the mod for you. However, if you enjoy strategically improving each companion to their full potential, then this is your mod. Jolee and Juhani join the party at level one, letting the PC have more control over their force power progression by five levels (default for both is level 6). Note: Does not affect Juhani in the Grove, nor Jolee before he becomes party member on Kashyyyk. Installation: Unzip and run TSLPATCHER. Uses tslpatcher, should be compatible with everything, be sure to install your mods in the correct order. Any mod you think might use the same files, install that mod, then install mine using the tslpatcher everything should be compatible. Otherwise, you risk incompatibility issues. I hope you enjoy! A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 07.03.2017 Installation: Simply copy and paste the files within the "For override" folder into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder. If you have K1R installed make sure you overwrite the files already within the override as the files in this mod are edited from K1R's "kor39_utharwynn.dlg" Uninstallation: Take them out again Description: Did you know at some point during development Bioware planned for your party members to come with you into Naga Sadow's tomb? As you may know that didn't make it into the final game but hidden in the game files are voice overs for each party member for when they talk about the Korriban Star Map similar as to what they do on the other worlds. When K1R came along they decided not to include it in as not having them appear in game makes a lot of sense, this mod allows for your party members to enter the tomb and help you fight off the Terentateks, Uthar and Yuthura and say those cut lines when you open the Star Map WARNING: This is best used with K1R as it modifies an Uthar dialogue from that mod and I have no clue what K1R actually did to that dialogue so using this Mod in the normal game may cause crashes Known Bugs: When your main character and Uthar run to the exit when you leave the academy your party members might not move at all. When you enter a certain room inside the tomb it is possible to have your party members locked out, this isn't a problem as those doors should all open up again Your party members may spawn in a location that blocks your PC and/or Uthar and Yuthura when you enter the module Your party members will not say there restored lines if they are not with you in the star map room These four bugs aren't game breaking just weird, Please report any more bugs that may occur Incompatibilities: Will be incompatible with "kor39_utharwynn.dlg" and "kor35_utharwynn.dlg" but the mod is 100% compatible with K1R Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission Thanks: Fair Strides for making the what's restored in K1R list The entire K1R team for making K1R Bioware for such an amazing game Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool and everyone who downloads the mod. Party on The Leviathan! by Fair Strides Description: This mod came about as a way to realistically restore cut content that K1R couldn't restore. Juhani had some dialog that played specifically on the Leviathan, both for normal players and for a romanced Female PC. However, normally you can't ever talk to Juhani on the Leviathan and there was no real way for K1R to include the content without breaking immersion/not sticking to its goal... So, I had the idea to spawn the entire party (except Bastila and Carth, obviously) in the Detention Block after you're rescued. Here, you can talk to all of the party members, though only Juhani has any new lines here. And right as you leave the Detention Block, all the party members will run off around the corner ahead of you (You did tell them to get their gear and head off...) to get to the Hangar and free the Ebon Hawk. This mod is both compatible with K1R and does not require K1R to be installed! Installation: Simply run the TSLPatcher and direct it to your KotOR folder. Uninstallation: Delete the following files from the Override: fs_party_free.ncs fs_party_go.ncs fs_party_run.ncs fs_party_kill.ncs fs_party_go.dlg fs_party_leave.utt k_plev_freecs2.ncs And if you did NOT have a mod that added/modified a lev_m40aa.mod file in your modules folder, then delete the lev_m40aa.mod file from your modules folder. If you DID have a mod that added/modified the lev_m40aa.mod file in your modules folder, then replace that file with the lev_m40aa.mod file from the backup folder in the same folder from where you ran the TSLPatcher. 13. Is there a way to spawn a NPC to make sure a reskin works? I saw a mod that has a reskin for Mira among its features but I think the maker screwed up by not renaming one of the textures used. I'm not entirely sure as I think I can remember an instance where there was a similar name mismatch but i've installed a lot of mods for a lot of games so i'm not entirely certain. The mod that I wonder about is this one. http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/870-daks-big-skin-pack/

  15. I am asking for help with creating a mod I am working on. I am trying to create a new crystal for my lightsaber. I want to edit the Blue Color Crystal. Since it does nothing but affect on the color of the blade I know I will have full control of the features so I can decide what I want my lightsaber to have. I cannot use any of the other crystals because they are already hard-wired with specific aspects. I have seen new mods with new lightsabers and crystals so I am hoping for help me with this. I have the attached a copy of the .uti file that I have customized for the new crystal as well as the script files I am using for my mod so you can see what I mean. Can you please tell me what .2da files I need to edit, if any, or anything else I need to do to make the new crystal become available in the game? I may have to edit the scripts so my characters will be given it in the mod? Can you please tell me how to do that? Thank you in advance. Crystals.zip

  18. So, I have an idea that I think might allow for side stepping the hard coding potentially for the people we have for our party. I myself have tried to mod this game, and i don't have the attention span for it. so the request would be a way to add both disciple / handmaiden as switchable party members by having the security console aboard the ebon hawk just switch which one has the active spot on the party screen, so when you leave the ebon hawk, you can essentially activate/deactivate one or the other as a person who can be a party member. A potentially more advanced version cold allow for the player to deactivate a party member and make their slot open to have another party member active. IDK if this would be possible, I realize the hard coding might prevent it, I just thought this might be a potentially viable sidestep, and i haven't heard anyone talk about it i don't think, except once on lucasforums before that died and i didn't remember if there was a definitive yes or no.

20. First of all let me start by saying I'm a carbonite encrusted fossil from the now defunct KOTOR Fan Media site where we had: Modding, Fanfic, FanArt, and even some clubs dedicated to Carth, Bastia etc. One of the most popular topics on the forums was finding out how many different ways people tailored both games to make their own unique KOTOR experience. So, I thought it might be done here too. It's pretty simple... 1. Describe your PC. Classes, Alignment, Romance (or not), Appearance, Backstory, and what they are best and worst at. 2. How do you use your NPC'S? 3. Planet Order. And so on... I'll start with my Revan just to get things going... Revan LSF: Programmed Name, Gia-Sade Solaris. Programmed age, 28. Starting Class: Scout. Jedi Class: Consular. Weapons: Melee and Hand-to-Hand Expert. Vital Stats: Height: 6'0'' Weight: 135 pounds. Hair: Long and Black. Eyes: Bright Aquamarine Skin: Pale. Lightsaber preferences and Styles of Combat. Paired Sabers MoF with Solari Crystals and Kryat Dragon Pearls. Also an expert with Single blade, and Saberstaff. Level of all forms: Expert. Primary Form: Niman. Fallback styles: Soresu and Shien against ranged enemies. Makashi, Ataru, Djem-So against Melee enemies. Juyo used against Sith Masters and Lords. Fighting style: A slipstream where she all her knowledge of combat styles, Echani, Deralian, Mandalorian, and Jedi, with dance steps, twirls, spins, and acrobatics to take control of and move with a fight. Awful with: Blasters and explosives. Romance: Carth Onasi. Backstory: Both Revan and Gia-Sade Solaris come from Deraila, a planet with a culture juxtaposed with an enlightened cultural and educational environment (Like Classical Athens) with an ancient Celtic martial tradition. They are Empathic humans, who have complex social rules on physical contact, and an obsession with following the proper etiquette of wherever they may be in the galaxy. In other words, they value "the proper way" of doing things so as to not offend others, and they expect others to treat them the same way. Highly advanced, they never strive for "perfection" just continually striving to become the best selves they can be. Very adaptable, pragmatic, and above all disciplined! Still, their Empathy leads them to form strong attachments to others, which they cannot break. As such they tend to be loners. NPC's: Bastila: I take her out when I know there will be a lot of Lightsabers, and on Tatooine. Canderous: My Ranged Weapon Tank! Take him when there's lots of shooting, and whenever there's another Mandalorian out there. Carth: My Pistol Jockey turned Captain Cuisinart, by the time I get to the Livathan. HK: Duh, My other Ranged Tank. Take him when I need to Laugh or Infiltrate. Jolee: He's my healer, my teacher, and the Grandfather I always wanted. He gets out everywhere I can! Juhani: Give her a Lightsaber, let her go kill bad guys. I take her everywhere but Tatooine. Mission: Any place that needs sneaking around with locked doors. T3-M4: My cutie is great in Sith Military Bases! Zaalbar: The Prince of Kashyyyk is a melee tank. He's not great against Force Users, but good on Maanan against crazed Selkath! Planet Order: Used to be- Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Korriban, Manaan. However, now that I have the K1R I'll use Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Maanan, Korriban. Well, there's my Revan! I tried to upload her picture but I couldn't... it's here at www.jodhaaakbarfan.deviantart.com/gallery56642963/My-Jedi-and-Sith
  21. Hello! I'm new to the site and I'm new to modding, I've played kotor 1 and TSL for a few year's and I just got TSL on steam, I've been trying to make custom party member portrait's, I know you need to put them in the override folder but I'm not sure what size they need to be, I also don't know how to convert them to the .TGA format, help from experienced modder's and anyone who know's more about this stuff then me is welcome.
  22. From the album: Kotor 1+2

Just a preview of the Leviathan Rodian Extended Dialogue mod, each character Revan sends to the Leviathan but T3-M4 have additional, custom lines.
  23. View File Party on the Leviathan! 24. This tutorial is to help someone out when they ever have to use this feature, especially since it took me a while to figure it out myself. I'm going to show you how to store and restore your current party any time you want in either game. An example from KotOR 1 where this is done is when you are at the Hrakert Station on Manaan and you travel through the airlock and back. You lose your party when you go out, but the people are restored to your party instantly when you go back inside. Similarly in KotOR 2, You can pick your party members at various points. The most notable is picking a team to go to Freedon Nadd's Tomb on Duxn. The game does the same thing here as it does on Manaan: programmatically adding people to your party. (All examples assume it's just you in the party before running them) The code for it is actually very simple. Say you wanted to add Bastila to the party : object oBastila = SpawnAvailableNPC(NPC_BASTILA, GetLocation(GetFirstPC())); AddPartyMember(NPC_BASTILA, oBastila); That seems simple now, but it took me the longest time to figure out that the number at the beginning of AddPartyMember was the NPC's place in the party table. On the Leviathan, I was just working with Bastila and Carth, so 0 and 2 still worked for party member slots (despite the fact that the PC should be in the 0 spot) and I didn't realize the number's meaning. Similarly if you wanted to add Juhani or Kreia, you'd use NPC_JUHANI or NPC_KREIA. But what if you didn't know who to summon? Investigating the Manaan airlocks and the Duxn Tomb's levels, I found that the NPCs' numbers are stored in Global Numbers. These numbers are then retrieved and used in the code above. Here's the code for the Duxn Tomb's OnEnter script: void sub3() { object object1 = SpawnAvailableNPC(GetGlobalNumber("403DXN_PARTY2_NPC2"), GetLocation(GetObjectByTag("sp_cnpc2", 0))); object object4 = SpawnAvailableNPC(GetGlobalNumber("403DXN_PARTY2_NPC3"), GetLocation(GetObjectByTag("sp_cnpc3", 0))); AddPartyMember(GetGlobalNumber("403DXN_PARTY2_NPC2"), object1); AddPartyMember(GetGlobalNumber("403DXN_PARTY2_NPC3"), object4); } In KotOR 1, there are two Global Numbers that you can use freely: "K_PARTY_STORE1" and "K_PARTY_STORE2". If you want to see if those have been used, the game (and you) should check and use the Global Boolean "K_PARTY_STORED". In KotOR 2, Those globals aren't available, so you can either make your own or you'd have to re-purpose the Duxn ones. Re-using the Duxn ones should be safe, since using them before Duxn will have them reset and using them after Duxn shouldn't be a problem.
  25. View File Hairy Hanharr! (a HD retex of Hanharr) Have you ever wondered why there is a bunch of retextures for every teammate but Hanharr?
