  1. Since JCarter426 made a blog about it, I'm going to do it. Cannot let my freeloading identity of jc2 go to waste! With further ado, much further. I offer you a warm welcome to what my colleague calls a "mod round up," which actually is a decent title, albeit a bit boring. *shot fired* Here is my equally as mediocre attempt at informing whatever public audience I might have about the status of my mods. Welcome to jc2's Modding CHECKUP - EXTRAVAGANZA ! Alright, it's been nine months since I've released LME and I've heard of no bugs, only a few spelling errors. The dlg editor eats all of your apostrophes if you copy and paste text into that, I learned this way later, and, as it turns out, I use a fair amount of them in my content. But, still, I'm glad to know that my testing and my testers were able to find all of the major bugs. So for those who care greatly about grammar, well, there are a few lines that might hurt your eyes, my apologies. LME remains at version 1.00. until someone reports some bug or I get around to playing through it and find the bugs/typos myself. Shanilia was updated to 1.7 version. There were several dialogue options that would get locked because of poor scripting, just resulting in less immersive content. I went to all the effort of adding them in, only for them to be bugged, so that's been fixed. Minor overall, but still important to the added content for Shanilia to speak about Jolee, Korriban, Manaan, Leviathan, etc... Not sure if my portrayal of Revan in that mod was as good as it could have been, but it was nice to have someone who actually knew Revan still care. The Sith betray you and the only one that actually admires what you did as Revan is Canderous, so Shanilia is meant to off-balance that and reveal a bit more about the Mandalorian Wars. And thanks to this update more of that content can be explored. Train the Disciple was released, which allows the PC to train the Disciple in the ways of the force, just like Atton and other companions can be. It was designed to be compatible with any Disciple mod, for it uses its own jc2_disciple.dlg file. It's sister mod, Train the Handmaiden, was updated to 2.00 to match the genius of Train the Disciple and also be compatible with other Handmaiden mods, in the same way. Save Mission 1.5a is the current version. It was updated slightly, reworked some of the lines to better match responses/replies and fixed a typo. I now understand why modders do not want their files scattered across the four corners of the internet, because they'd have to update all of them, which is tedious! Just deadlystream and nexusmods alone cause me a headache to update. Not that either site are not modder friendly, far from it, just tedious to document all the changes, update readme, update description, screenshots, files, etc... According to Deadlystream: Improved Grenades 3,848 downloads Revenge on Sassy Sith Lady 3,664 downloads While on nexusmods: Save Mission 4.2k downloads, 3.1 unique downloads Train the Handmaiden 4.3k downloads, 3.4 unique downloads Very strange to me that these different communities would value different mods, but as someone said, being on /r kotor's mod build list affects the download count, which is the case for the deadlystream mods. However, the nexusmod mods do not have the blessing of /r kotor but stand quite tall on their own. *Cough cough* maybe Train the disciple & handmaiden might be included some day *cough cough*

    Train the Disciple By jc2 Atton can be trained to use the force forms and lightsaber techniques that the PC learns on his/her journey, however, the Disciple cannot. At a loss for why this would not be, jc2 has undertaken an effort to rebalance this issue. Keeping in mind the sister mod, Train the Handmaiden, which set out in 2017, nearly 2 years prior to address the same issue for the Handmaiden, jc2 has come full circle. Therefore, it is the entire effort of this mod to allow the PC to train the Disciple in all 7 of the lightsaber forms, four force forms, and three force techniques. Lightsaber techniques: Ataru Form -Juyo Form - Shii Cho Form - Soresu Form - Makashi Form - Niman Form - Shien Form Force forms: Force Potency Form- Force Mastery Form -Force Focus Form - Force Affinity Force techniques: Breath Control - Beast Trick -- Force Sight The PC must have learned these techniques in order to train the Disciple on them. Incompatibilities: None so far. Compatible with Party Swap & any mod that edits disciple.dlg, because Train the Disciple does not edit disciple.dlg in any way. DESCRIPTION: As much as I love KotOR II: TSL, I have always been disappointed by the lack of same gender romance options with any of the party members. Granted, TSL never had any fully developed romance arc to begin with, but given KotOR1 at least has Juhani as a lesbian romance option even though her romance has less content (and is much easier to miss) compared to Bastila's or Carth's, the lack of same gender romance options in TSL is disappointing, in my opinion. My Visas Marr and Female Exile Romance as well as Atton Rand and Male Exile Romance mods had been made and released as part of my same gender romance mod project for TSL, now I present to you the next and the biggest part of my project: Handmaiden Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance mod! This mod makes the Handmaiden a romance option for female Exiles, and the Disciple a romance option for male Exiles. Players do not need to worry about any possible pronouns mix-up either because this mod will make the Handmaiden refer to a female Exile by "she/her" and the Disciple refer to a male Exile by "he/him". If a female Exile has much higher influence with Visas than the Handmaiden, the Handmaiden vs. Visas jealousy/rivalry cutscenes will be triggered (however, be warned that this will also make the Handmaiden refuse to speak to the player for the rest of the game). Similarly, if a male Exile has much higher influence with the Disciple than Atton, Atton vs. the Disciple jealousy/rivalry cutscenes will be triggered. Please note that this mod is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE ENGLISH VERSION OF TSL AND TSLRCM. I do not provide support for non-English versions of TSL and TSLRCM. 2. IMPORTANT NOTE TO MAKE THIS MOD WORK: In order for the Handmaiden/Disciple content from this mod to take effect, you must use a save before Handmaiden/Disciple joins your party.     Underwear Mod for TSL by RedRob41 ================================================================ IF YOU ARE EVER IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT INSTALLING ANY MODS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLATION, JUST IN CASE. WARNING: THIS INSTALLER MAY REPLACE ANY FILES OF THE SAME NAME THAT ARE ALREADY PRESENT IN YOUR OVERRIDE FOLDER! ================================================================ Description: This mod includes re-skins and re-models for the player character (male & female), as well as many of the party members. It includes: - Females now have your choice of athletic, two piece with boxers, two piece with briefs, and Mass Effect style (not an exact copy). These skins should be compatible with other mods. - I've fixed the Dancer outfit model and texture so that it matches the shape and muscle tone of the underwear. These skins might not be as compatible with other models, since the uvw map has been altered (especially on the arms and legs). - Updated for v2.0: The model's stance has also been narrowed, to match the underwear model's stance (previously, it looked a littl bow-legged). The skirt cloth has been adjusted so that the front does not clip with the legs as much, and the back doesn't have a gap where it attaches to the belt. Also, Force powers will now eminate from the hand, rather than from a space floating between the hand and face. The textures have been tweaked so that there is better matching at the model's seams. - I've fixed the Male's standard underwear model uvw map, and these should be compatible with most other mods. - Males now have your choice of athletic, shirtless with boxers, shirtless with briefs, and Mass Effect style. These skins won't be compatible with other mods, since the uvw map is significantly changed. - New for v2.0: Atton now has his own unique underwear instead of using the default Caucasian underwear texture. Because of this, I've included short sleaves on the texture, to camoflage the edge seam (there are two optional alternatives, one with bare shoulders where the edge seam error can be easily seen). - Updated for v2.0: new underwear model and textures. - Her ballistic mesh jacket will now have smaller shoulder plates and belt pouches, as well as more texture in the jacket and pants. Said party members will automatically have these unique outfits equipped when they join your party. Each of these outfits also has its own custom inventory icon and can be upgraded. If you want to see your party members appear in their default outfits and those outfits being more useful in combat throughout the course of the game, this mod is for you. For the best experience with this mod, it's recommended to have a completely new TSL playthrough. The idea of this mod was inspired by jonathan7's Party Clothing mod for KotOR 1. While jonathan7 had also made a similar mod for TSL as part of the Force Fashion II mod, I don't use Force Fashion II because it is not compatible with TSLRCM. Therefore, I decided to make my own version of a similar mod for TSL. Technically, this mod was my first attempt at KotOR modding. However, initially this mod was only for my personal use. Now I have decided to release this to the public. Granted, TSL never had any fully developed romance arc to begin with, but given KotOR1 at least has Juhani as a lesbian romance option even though her romance has less content (and is much easier to miss) compared to Bastila's or Carth's, the lack of same gender romance options in TSL is disappointing, in my opinion. My Visas Marr and Female Exile Romance as well as Atton Rand and Male Exile Romance mods had been made and released as part of my same gender romance mod project for TSL, now I present to you the next and the biggest part of my project: Handmaiden Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance mod! This mod makes the Handmaiden a romance option for female Exiles, and the Disciple a romance option for male Exiles. Players do not need to worry about any possible pronouns mix-up either because this mod will make the Handmaiden refer to a female Exile by "she/her" and the Disciple refer to a male Exile by "he/him". If a female Exile has much higher influence with Visas than the Handmaiden, the Handmaiden vs. Visas jealousy/rivalry cutscenes will be triggered (however, be warned that this will also make the Handmaiden refuse to speak to the player for the rest of the game). Similarly, if a male Exile has much higher influence with the Disciple than Atton, Atton vs. the Disciple jealousy/rivalry cutscenes will be triggered. This mod contains a "Compatibility Patches" folder for players who also have installed any of the following mods: M4-78 Enhancement Project Coruscant Jedi Temple Extended Enclave JC's Saber Workshop Please read the Compatibility Patch ReadMe.rtf file within the folder and follow the instructions to make these mods work together without conflict. NOTE 1: During installation, a new folder named "backup" will be created by TSLPatcher in the same folder as the TSLPatcher. Do not delete the folder or any of the files within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod. NOTE 2: The "Source" folder includes the source of the scripts used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 4. UNINSTALLATION: If you have chosen the "Default installation" option, here are the steps to uninstall this mod: STEP 1: Go to your override folder, delete k_sup_galaxymap.ncs STEP 2: Go to the "backup" folder created by the TSLPatcher from this mod, cut and paste disciple.dlg , kreia.dlg and mira.dlg into your override folder. STEP 3: From the "backup" folder, cut and paste 003EBO.mod, 006EBO.mod, 262TEL.mod, 301NAR.mod, 303NAR.mod, 402DXN.mod, 610DAN.mod, 650DAN.mod, 907MAL.mod, 908MAL.mod, 909MAL.mod and 950COR.mod into the Modules folder in your KotOR 2 directory. STEP 4: From the "backup" folder, cut and paste 003EBO_loc.mod, 262TEL_loc.mod, 301NAR_loc.mod, 303NAR_loc.mod, 402DXN_loc.mod, 650DAN_loc.mod, 903MAL_loc.mod and localization.mod into the lips folder in your KotOR 2 directory. If you have chosen the "PartySwap Compatible Installation" option, go to the "backup" folder created by the TSLPatcher from this mod and do the following steps: STEP 1: Cut and paste disciple.dlg, kreia.dlg and mira.dlg into your override folder. STEP 2: Cut and paste 003EBO.mod, 006EBO.mod, 262TEL.mod, 301NAR.mod, 303NAR.mod, 650DAN.mod, 904MAL.mod, 907MAL.mod, 908MAL.mod and 909MAL.mod into the Modules folder in your KotOR 2 directory. STEP 3: Cut and paste 003EBO_loc.mod, 262TEL_loc.mod, 301NAR_loc.mod, 303NAR_loc.mod, 903MAL_loc.mod and localization.mod into the lips folder in your KotOR 2 directory. Please note that these steps will not uninstall PartySwap. If you want to uninstall PartySwap, you need to follow the instructions from the PartySwap mod. 5. KNOWN ISSUES: If you install PartySwap and then this mod with the "PartySwap Compatible Installation" option, play a female Exile and the Disciple joins your party, after your post-Rebuilt Jedi Enclave conversation with Visas, the scene where the Disciple warns Carth or Cede about the Telos attack will not be triggered. Unfortunately, as with my Visas Marr and Female Exile Romance mod, I am unable to find a reliable way to solve this issue. If you find any other bugs or problems, please let me know. 6. MOD COMPATIBILITY: Other mods that modifies any of the following content are not compatible with this mod: disciple.dlg, Disciple's main dialogue file kreia.dlg, Kreia's main dialogue file mira.dlg, Mira's main dialogue file Dialogue of the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave sequence The exceptions are TSLRCM (which is required for this mod to work), M4-78 Enhancement Project, PartySwap and Extended Enclave, as long as you follow my instructions in the "INSTALLATION" section above. If you want to use my Atton Rand and Male Exile Romance mod alongside this mod, install this mod first then install Atton Rand and Male Exile Romance mod. If you want to use Kexikus' Full Jedi Council mod alongside this mod, install my mod first then install Full Jedi Council mod. If you want to use JC2's Train the Handmaiden mod alongside this mod, install my mod first, then install Train the Handmaiden mod, regardless if you have PartySwap installed or not. This mod is not compatible with any other mod that involves putting the holorec.dlg file in the Override folder. If you want to use this mod, make sure you DO NOT have holorec.dlg in your Override folder, or Handmaiden will not be able to join your female Exile's party. This mod is compatible with the KOTOR 2 Community Patch (compiled by A Future Pilot). If you're uncertain if a mod is compatible with this mod or not, feel free to ask me. This mod also makes changes to the same files modified by my Visas Marr and Female Exile Romance mod. Namely, this mod also makes the Visas romance scene trigger for female Exiles, while Disciple will replace Visas in said scene if you play a male Exile. Unless you want the Visas romance scene available for both male and female Exiles, if you install this Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance mod, you will not need to install Visas Marr and Female Exile Romance mod. 7. PERMISSION: You may use this mod as you see fit, including showing it in screenshots or making it compatible with your mod.   15. Since I'm kinda desperate for this, and I know a fair share of modders here, I thought I'd ask this. Basically, I'd like someone to convert the body of a Disciple - those guys - into a playable armor. Bonus if the chainmail coif can also be made into a headgear.
