    Nihilus Mask For PCs
    Author : Tesla

    This mod lets you use Nihilus' mask as a usable item, but I decided not to replace the item that you get when Visas brings it to you since it

    gives you a bonus to your force points. So, this is a separate item.

    Cheat Code = nihmaskpc

    All alignments can wear it, no restrictions to party members either and they don't have to be a Jedi class either, and you don't need to have a

    prestige class. 😃

    Extract all files to the override folder in your K2 install dir.

    Or you could put it in a sub-folder in the override folder, since the game now reads sub-folders in it.

    And most important, enjoy being Nihilus for a day ... or 2.

    I. Introduction

    Thank you for downloading The Veridian Echo Mod! I hope it will bring new flavor to Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

    This mod has taken me six months to make and is still not finished. I am releasing this working but unfinished version with a promise to make a patch for it in the near future. Please forgive the rough edges and enjoy!

    II. Description

    So, what the heck is The Veridian Echo Mod? The VE mod is an attempt to re-balance the game play in KOTOR II to make it faster paced and more challenging while placing a higher concentration on advanced tactics and teamwork. In addition to the game play changes I have also worked a good deal on reskinning most of your party members. Some of the changes are subtle while others stand out, but I hope that they are an improvement over the original party member skins. There are few other small reskins included as well. The mod also includes a completely redone weapon set meaning that all of the games included weapons have been modified to deal more damage. The weapon boost effects both your enemies and your weapons making the fights more intense and more oriented around dealing damage before your opponent does. The bosses in the game have been given boosts too and are much more formidable opponents now. The GUI has been cleaned up to make it a little less in your face. Combat sounds have also been given a makeover. The mod also comes with several new items and weapons.

    III. Installation Instructions

    Installation is completed in four steps:

    1. I highly suggest you empty your 'override' folder of all files. If the 'override' folder is not empty I cannot guarantee the VE Mod will work. I apologize that this mod does not use the TSL Patcher tool; some of the .2da files have so many lines changed that it would take me many hours to input all of the data. Perhaps later when I have freer time, I will remedy this problem.

    2. Extract the files inside the mod's 'override' folder into the game's 'override' folder.

    3. If you wish to install any of the extra skins or game play modifiers do that now. Other mods can be installed over the VE Mod now too if you wish. Please note though that no third-party mods or tweaks are guaranteed to work with the VE Mod.

    4. Run KOTOR II and start a new game. Enjoy!

    IV. FAQ

    Q. Can I load a game in progress and still have the changes provided by the VE Mod?

    A. Some of the changes will be present such as skin changes and general game play changes. Some other changes will not take effect though such as any weapons you had when you loaded your game will not be boosted, party members will not have their custom equipment if you had already recruited them, and other changes.

    Q. The game crashed. What do I do?

    A. As stated above this release has not been fully tested and there may be many bugs that I missed. So

    if you run into a problem, email me at Torthane@gmail.com and I will try to help you out.

    Q. I keep getting my butt kicked in game. What can I do?

    A. First check the difficulty level and turn it down if it isn't already. Next rethink your strategy, set up traps with mines, take advantage of Atton's sneak attack ability, use blasters and keep your distance, or use force powers like revive. If that doesn't work use weapons or force powers that stun your opponent and don't sacrifice damage for defense. If even that doesn't work then I can't help you anymore. Sorry!

    Q. The game is too easy. Can I make it more difficult?

    A. Try playing on hard or install the realistic combat folder. If that isn't tough enough try the masochistic combat folder. If that doesn't work for you, go join the army, normal life isn't enough of a challenge.

    Q. A lot of the portraits are the same.

    A. I know. I didn't have time to finish them all. The patch will have the rest.

    Q. How do I uninstall the VE Mod?

    A. Delete its files from the 'override' folder.

    Q. Why don't the Asian and Black female PCs have the new undies?

    A. Because I didn't have time to reskin them yet. The patch will include some.

    Q. Can I have my Female PC wear Visas’ or the Handmaiden's undies?

    A. As long as your female PC is Caucasian then go to the 'extra choices' folder and follow the instructions.

    Q. Can I have my male PC wear Visas’ or the Handmaiden's undies?

    A. As long as.......NO!

    Q. The realistic combat is not realistic.

    A. I didn't have time to test it so you get what you get. The idea is that it is more realistic than normal. I.e.; stuff does more damage.

    Q. Atton has a line down the middle of his face. What's the deal?

    A. The line is due to a strange mapping error that I have tried to fix forever, but have

    found no solution. I apologize for the line and assure you that I am still trying to fix it.

    Q. I have a suggestion for the future releases of the VE Mod. Do you want to hear?

    A. Sure, email your suggestion to [See read-me in game folder for contact information] and I'll try to look it over.

    Q. Can I use some of the files in this mod for another mod?

    A. Please read section VI.

    Q. Why are some of the item pictures missing?

    A. Once again I didn't have time to finish them. The patch will fix this.

    Q. Visas’ undies are too skimpy. Can I fix this?

    A. Don't tell her to take off her clothes.

    Q. Why so much about underclothes?

    A. Who's asking the questions?

    Q. Why isn't the mod perfect?

    A. Guess.

    V. Credits and Thanks.

    Mod Name: [TSL] Segan Wyndh Armor Expanded

    ==================================================

    Description:

    This is an expansion upon Chainz.2da's Segan Wyndh armor for KOTOR 2: TSL.  This includes the original Segan Wyndh Armor adapted for TSL with the new armor upgrade system.  It also includes

    the 7 new variants presented in my Tomb of Jesset Dal'Kest mod for KOTOR 1.  You will be able to build the 8 versions of Jedi armor at the workbench as well as an underlay and overlay.  However, the
    Jedi armors themselves do not have all the features of Segan Wyndh's armor - to keep it unique.

    ===================================================

    Installation:

    Extract all files into your KOTOR 2 Override directory.  If you don't have an Override directory, all you need to do is make one.

    This mod also makes use of KMM and includes a KMM file.

    If you are asked to overwrite a 2da file the following mods are considered compatible and there 2da files can be overwritten.

    ==================================================

    Compatible mods:

    Redhawke's Exile items

    Redhawke's Workbench robes

    Envida's complete mods package

    Darkkender's Lightsaber Workbench and Guardian sabers

    Any other mods that use the following 2da files should be considered incompatible unless stated otherwise in their read-me files.

  7. Darkkender's TSL Holowan Plugin

    Part of the...

    The TSL Holowan Plugin v1.05
    ============================

    Authors:   Darkkender

    Description:
    ============================

    The TSL Holowan Plugin is a collection of various mods by myself and a variety of different modders from the Holowan Labs.  One of its main purposes was to provide compatibility for other mods out there.

    Installation Instructions:
    ============================
    You will find 4 folders within this mod.  Simply copy the contents of 3 of these folders into the folders by the same name within your SWKOTOR2 main directory. (The fourth folder will be discussed in the “Compatibilities” section.

    Launcher -> launcher folder
    Overwrite the existing files
    (PS: It's OK as I've backed up the originals for you. The originals have a 2 added to their name.)
    StreamSounds -> StreamSounds folder
    If you are prompted to overwrite, you'll be okay as it would be caused by the original mod that used these sounds that has been included in the plugin.

    Override -> Override folder
    You already know the story here - but - please refer to compatibilities before adding these files.
    You will also find a dialog.tlk file within the Holowan Plugin. Prior to overwriting the original, I would recommend making a folder titled “backup” and copying the original into there.  Once you've backed up the original then overwrite it with the one included in the Plugin.

    Compatibilities:
    ============================
    The "TSL Holowan Plugin" is compatible with "The USM."  Simply install the "USM" mod prior to The "TSL Holowan Plugin" and overwrite all of the files it prompts you too.  Do not install the Plugin first and then overwrite its files with those from other mods.
    Please refer to the "Credits" folder as it includes separate text files for different modders listing which of their mods were used - as well as folders containing the original read-me files of those mods.

    V1.03/v1.04/v1.05 notes:
    ============================

    I fixed some bugs from the original release archive that hadn't gotten uploaded yet.

    Special Thanks:
    ============================
    Fred Tetra -- Wherever you are, you are missed.
    TK102 -- All of your recent tools have been extra handy.

  8. Bastila wearing Twin Suns outfit

    Bastila wearing Twin Suns outfit
    Bastila PC Head
    Contact: indianamods@yahoo.com
    By Miles Edgeworth

    This mod adds Bastila's Head, to the selection of selectable heads. Thanks to Princess Artemis, Bastila has Dark Side Transitions. Please note, she won't reder correctly when you see her in the character creation screen, and her normal clothing will be a bit transparent in parts.
    File List:
    P_BastillaHD1.tga----------> One of the Textures.
    P_BastillaHD2.tga----------> One of the Textures.
    P_BastillaH.tga----------> One of the Textures.

    PO_PBastilaD1.tga----------> One of the Portraits.
    PO_PBastilaD2.tga----------> One of the Portraits.
    To install you must first install bastila pc and twin sun outfit mods with exes in their folders and then move the .2da files into your override. Then you are done.
    YOU MUST MAKE A NEW CHARACTER FOR THIS TO WORK ONE WITH A BASTILA HEAD.
    Credit goes to shem for the body and head mods, I just merged them and edited the .2da to make it possible.
    ---------
    Thanks to Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Jennifer Hale for bringing Bastila to life, stoffe for TSLPatcher, and Obsidian for making an (almost) perfect game.

  9. Five Twin Suns-esque Outfits For Female PCs

    Five Twin Suns-esque Outfits For Female PCs
    Author: Empeor Devon
    E-mail: Lawlz, you think I want it to get flooded with spam? You can PM me at LucasForums
    with any comments/questions you might have.
    ---------------
    1. Description
    ---------------
    This mod does several things.
    1. Pretty much what the title says, five Twin Sun-esque outfits, now wearable by female PCs.
    (Caucasian ones only, though - no Asian or African-American textures are included. Sowwy!)
    The Twin Sun outfits replace the first five variations of the default clothing, though only
    for the main character. Wouldn't do to see half the refugees on Nar Shaddaa dressed like
    that, would it?
    The first clothing you'll be able to find throughout the game semi-often at the start,
    although the other four can't be had without cheating. The codes are:
    g_a_clothes02
    g_a_clothes03
    g_a_clothes04
    g_a_clothes05
    For all you anti-cheaters out there, the clothes provide no form of bonus or penalty to your
    PC's stats. Literally all it does is give a different appearance.
    2. To make it possible to tell the different variants apart at the equipping menu, the
    clothes have had 'variant 2','variant 3', 'variant 4', etcetera added to their names.
    3. In addition, since I think DS female PCs are ugly enough even when they're fully clothed,
    (and making DS textures for this would've taken more work! :P) the rotting corpse DS
    transitions have been removed and replaced with RotS-style Sith eyes. The DS dancer's
    outfit skin has been removed entirely and replaced with the LS/neutral one. Yay for scantily-clad dancers that aren't dying of cancer!
    4. There is also a folder called 'alternate skin hue' that contains slightly more tan and less yellow versions of the skin on the clothes. If you're not using the head in most of the pics (the blue-eyed girl with blonde hair in a bun) you might think these textures better match the skin tone. Or maybe you won't. Either way it's there if you want it.
    ---------------
    2. Instillation
    ---------------
    Use the TSLPatcher, and viola. Be sure to install in SWKotOR2 rather than Override.
    For manual install, extract all the files from ED_twin_sun_outfit to
    C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Override. If you don't have an Override folder, make one.
    If you want to use the textures from the alternate skin hue folder, simply copy them into your override. When you get a message asking if you want to replace the already existing files, say yes.
    --------------------
    3. Bugs and Glitches
    --------------------
    One problem I noticed during a test install of the mod was how at the startup screen the textures I modified were applied to the default female clothes model on the PCs. (Ie there was a weird mess of black and tan on them all.) When starting a game, however, I was able to equip the new clothes normally without any bug like I encountered at the startup screen. Since it has no adverse effect on the gameplay and only makes the character creation process somewhat weird to look at, I've seen no need to search for the cause and fix it.

  10. DARTHMOELLER's TSL Exile's Item Pack

    Part of the...

    Description:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    This mod adds new items to the beginning of the game that are specially made for the exile.  The items can be found in a metal crate inside the medical room on Peragus.  The items you find include the Exile's armband, shield, belt, gauntlets, and implant.  I didn't add any clothes because it wouldn't fit well with Atton's "naked Jedi" lines.

    List of Files:

    dm_shield.uti - shield properties file

    dm_band.uti - armband properties file

    dm_belt.uti - belt properties file

    dm_gloves.uti - gauntlets properties file

    dm_implant.uti - implant properties file

    ii_belt_050.tga - belt icon

    ii_FrArmBnds_050.tga - armband icon

    ii_FrArmBnds_049.tga - shield icon

    ii_Gauntlet_050.tga - gauntlets icon

    ii_Implant3_050.tga - implant icon

    metalbox080.utp - metal crate file

    dm_byebox.ncs - script

    a_doormor.ncs - script

    dm_bmedbox80.ncs - script

    NOTE: The source scripts are included in this mod in a folder called "source."

    Installation:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1.If you haven't done so already, create a folder named "override" (without quotes) in your KotOR II directory.

    2. Next, extract the contents of the .rar file into your TSL override

    folder.

    3. Use the giveitem cheat (optional!!)

    This way of getting the robes will add the items directly to the player's inventory.  To enable cheats, open your swkotor2.ini file, and under GameOptions, enter "EnableCheats=1" without the quotes.  Then in game, press the ~ button to open the console, which will be invisible.  Type "giveitem <item name>" without the quotes.  The item names are below.

    NOTE: The items are placed in-game, so there is no reason to use the giveitem cheat.

    Cheat Names:

    dm_shield - exiles shield

    dm_band - exiles armband

    dm_belt - exiles belt

    dm_gloves - exiles gauntlets

    dm_implant - exiles implant

    Uninstall:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Simply remove all files included in this mod from your override directory.

  11. Dak Vesser's Holo-Droid Emitter

    Part of the...

    All Source scripts are included...
    There are some things you need to know about this mod:
    For the Xbox user, since there is no way to use the "get Item cheat" so for the Xbox, I modified the Peragus kolto tank to be a Vending machine.
    Just activate its dialog, like you would when you need a healing.
    For the PC user, You can either use the kolto tank or just use the "Get item cheat".
    The item name is "holo_dr_emitr"
    Installing:
    Either Take everything from "Override_new" and place it all in your Override folder or
    Rename your KotorII TSL's "Override" to Override_alt or whatever and just delete the_new from this one.

    Uninstall:
    Just take it all out... Uh HUh!

    This Mod is not supported by Lucasarts, Bioware, Obsidian..
    Star Wars Knights of the old Republic II - The Sith Lords
    Version 1.1
    03/04/05 Fixed an Issue where the Handmaiden was not being added to the party..

    "Warning" about the Add party member function: If you ask the droid to add a party or Non-party member to the active party or make it available when it's already available, The Droid
    will re-create the NPC from scratch and whatever XP level i.e. Stats, feats, force Powers you added will be reset back to it's base level, Plus any items that you placed on the NPC will be forever gone!
    Advisement: Only use the add party/non-party member function as a "First time function" to characters that have not yet been added..
    I took the liberty of placing the Fixed file(s) in a folder of its own for those of you that have already modified your own spells.2da and appearance.2da to fit this mod in with all your other mods and don't want to go through the hassle of doing it all over again...

  12. Darth Nihilus' Mask by D.J.

    Part of the...

    ----------------------------------------------
    Darth Nihilus' Mask
    ----------------------------------------------
    by D.J.

    Well, I liked Darth Nihilus and I thought that his outfit is great. But the greatest part is his hood with a mask. I wanted to be able to use that mask on my Exile, so I made this mod for everybody else
    that also likes Nihilus' Mask. Now you can equip his mask in a standard mask slot.

    Installation Instructions:
    After you have downloaded the zip file, extract all the files (except this readme.txt) into your /override directory inside your KOTOR TSL game. If you don't have an Override directory already, then make one.
    After you have done that, you will either need a save game editor to add the mask into your savegame or alternatively, you can use cheat console system to do the same thing.

    Uninstall Instructions:
    Simply delete these files from your Override directory;
    i_mask_015.tga
    i_mask_015.mdl
    i_mask_015.mdx
    ii_mask_015.tga
    a_nihilus.uti

    Enjoy!

  13. Commas' Exile Robes Mod

    Part of the...

    Modder:
    Commas
    ==============================
    Changes in v1.1:
    ==============================
    Updates to the armor texture
    Minor color tweaks to all textures
    Female textures now have belts
    ==============================
    Description:
    ==============================
    This is a brand new robe that you will find in the PC's quarters on the Harbinger with custom skin and stats. Right now it is for Male PCs only. There is both a Light/Neutral and a Dark robe.
    ***IMPORTANT*** For these textures to work you MUST have svösh's robe collar fix for the Padawan robes in your override. This means the files PMBIM.mdl, PMBIM.mdx, PFBIM.mdl and PFBIM.mdx.
    svösh's robe collar fix can be found at his website: http://www.angelfire.com/crazy2/xclone_0101/kotor_mods.htm/
    -------------------------------
    Stats:
    -------------------------------
    Restricted to: The Exile
    Defense Bonus: 4
    CON +2
    Damage Immunity: Piercing, Slashing Bludgeoning 10%
    Force Resistance: +10
    Damage Vulnerability: Fire 25% for 2 Rounds
    Description:
    While you were exiled you had to face many challenges beyond the Outer Rim. You decided to fit your trusty old robes with some light armor. During your adventures you had to talk your way out of many close calls, but sometimes battle was unavoidable. Through the combination of time and many narrow escapes these robes have begun to deteriorate and show evidence of many battles, but they still offer quite a bit of protection.
    As a result of being cut off from the Force during your exile these robes have built up a natural resistance to the Force, however since they in such a state of disrepair they are highly susceptible to the forces of nature, but this can be easily negated using underlays.
    Dark Side Description:
    While you were exiled you had to face many challenges beyond the Outer Rim. You decided to fit your trusty old robes with some light armor. During your adventures you made quite the reputation for yourself along the Outer Rim, evidenced battle the many battle scars in this armor, the result of "negotiations" gone awry.
    While you were exiled your hate for the Jedi slowly built up. As a result of being cut off from the Force these robes have built up a natural resistance to the Force, however since they in such a state of disrepair they are highly susceptible to the forces of nature, but this can be easily negated using underlays.
    ---------------------------------
    Further Explanation of the Stats:
    ---------------------------------
    ok, so i feel like i should explain the stats just a little more.

    •Restricted to: The Exile - they were his/her robes, there is no reason why Atton should be wearing them, they have sentimental value to the Exile.
    •Defense: 4 - this is there because the best robes, the Jedi Master Robes, offer a defense bonus of 3. The Exile Robes have light armor plating on the chest, so it stands to reason that it should offer just a little more defense.
    •CON +2 the armor by absorbing some of the damage dealt to the exile allows him to stay alive that much longer, this is reflected by the boost to vitality that the +2 to CON gives him.
    •Force Resist: +10 My reasoning for this is that like an item can have a taint of the dark side left on it, the exile being cut off completely from the force has left a mark on these robes that he wore during his exile causing them to become resistant to the force in the same way the exile himself is (i.e. like when Nihilus tries to "eat" the exile) the exile's natural resistance to the force from being cut off has permeated these robes during their exposure to him while he was cut off.
    •Damage Immunity to Piercing, Slashing, Bludgeoning - this is also reflected by the armor plating that would help resist against melee based attacks. i used an immunity so that the amount you are protected is proportional to the damage you receive. a damage resistance of ten would have been too powerful that early in the game, and not powerful enough later on. i also got rid of the immunity to energy that i had, because in the Star Wars universe blaster bolts always took down Storm Troopers despite the armor they wore, and this armor is much less advanced than theirs.
    •Damage Vulnerability: Fire - i know that negative properties tend to be frowned upon, but i felt that these robes were becoming a little too powerful for what they were, and i decided that since these robes are practically falling apart already that they don't hold up well against fire based attacks. so while it is a negative stat, it makes sense in regards to this robe. besides the robe is upgradeable with underlays, so one of the better "Environment Underlays" will pretty much negate this anyway.
    ======================================
    This Mod contains the following items:
    ======================================
    ------------
    Scripts:
    ------------
    1) k_152area_enter.ncs - the script that executes the script that spawns the robes and executes the real OnEnter script
    2) 152_har_enter.ncs - the real OnEnter script
    3) exfootlckr.ncs - the script that spawns the robes
    the nss files for these scripts can be found in the "Source" directory.
    ------------
    Exile:
    ------------
    1) ex_robe_99.uti - robe parameters
    2) PMBI99.tga - Male Texture
    3) PFBI99.tga - Female Texture
    4) ia_JediRobe_99.tga - Icon
    ------------
    Dark Exile:
    ------------
    1) ex_robe_98.uti - robe parameters
    2) PMBI98.tga - Male Texture
    3) PFBI98.tga - Female Texture
    4) ia_JediRobe_98.tga - Icon
    ------------
    and also some screen shots, might as well see what you're getting
    ------------

    ======================
    Installation:
    ======================
    1) If you have not done so already create an Override folder in your KotORII:TSL directory. KotORII:TSL allows for the use of a subdirectory, so you may create one if you so desire.
    2) Unzip all the files into Override (or a subdirectory within Override).
    3)***IMPORTANT*** For these textures to work you MUST have svösh's robe collar fix for the padawan robes in your override. this means the files PMBIM.mdl, PMBIM.mdx, PFBIM.mdl and PFBIM.mdx.
    svösh's robe collar fix can be found at his website: http://www.angelfire.com/crazy2/xclone_0101/kotor_mods.htm/
    4)***IMPORTANT*** If you are using Envidia's Harbinger Crew Quarters mod make sure you install this mod SECOND. This mod will overwrite some of Envidia's scripts (specifically k_152area_enter). Envidia's mod will still work, but only if that script is overwritten with mine, as i have edited it to execute both my scripts and Envidia's, so BOTH MODS WILL STILL WORK. Also if you keep your mods organized into sub-directories you will need to manually delete Envidia's k_152area_enter script and use mine (it can be in any directory). I have included the source for all the scripts in the "source" folder so you can edit them as you see fit.
    4) Enjoy!
    =======================
    Uninstall:
    =======================
    Just delete the files from override
    =======================
    Known Issues:
    =======================
    This Mod should be compatible with all other mods used for this area (Redhawke's and Envidia's) but should you encounter any compatibility problems please contact me [via the email listed in the read-me].

    Colma Adawin Sabers

    Length of time to make:
    ====================
    Off & on, approximately 1-2 weeks

    Description of Mod:
    =====================================
    Colma Adawin’s Single & Double-Bladed Sabres
    Original Concept by Colma Adawin (formally MattColejk)
    Original Design by Greg Allen
    Nebulous Designs

    Created & Ported for TSL by ChAiNz.2da
    Sabre Descriptions:
    ----------------------
    "This Double-Bladed Sabre was created by Colma Adawin, with the assistance of his Jedi Master Ma'Taka, he trained and taught Colma Adawin the ways of the force, Colma Adawin had a strong connection to the force, and found learning quite easy, and felt that he could teach other Force Sensitives, teach them the ways of the Jedi, and to respect the force and follow the Light Side.
    Colma Adawin decided to fight in the Mandalorian Wars. His Master, Ma'Taka forbid him to fight in the war, he felt it would consume him and turn him to the Dark Side, but Colma promised he would return as he left, a Jedi. In the wars Colma Adawin not only managed to hold the Mandalorians at bay, but managed to secure victory for the Republic. Many Jedi Masters feared that Colma Adawin had fallen to the Dark Side due to the ferocity of his attacks, others simply believed that he was a Good, Strong minded Jedi with a strong connection to the Lightside of the Force.
    When Colma Adawin was on the Battlefield, his sabres would be seen, and this inspired his followers, made them stronger, made him stronger. Colma's connection to the force allowed him to better himself so much, that he could wield two Double-Bladed sabres. Not even the Great Jedi Weapons Master Ma’Taka could do such a thing. The Sith wanted to turn Colma Adawin to the Dark Side, the Jedi wished for him to be at peace, so he didn't turn to the Dark Side, for if he did, the Jedi Council knew, there would be nothing that anyone could do to stop Colma Adawin."

    Just extract all files in the "For Override" folder into your KotOR II override directory.

    **- this mod uses both an upcrystals.2da. If you are already using such a file, some editing will be required. HOWEVER, I've tried very hard to make this compatible with other mods. A big thanks goes to Darkkender for providing an outstanding base to work off of! Below is a list of mods that the included "upcrystals.2da" will work with (safe to overwrite):

  15. AI's Hard Core Mod

    Part of the...

    If you just want to use the altered scripts as they are, open the archive with WinRAR or some other application capable of extracting RAR files. Then drag all the files from the compiled(override) folder inside the archive into your game's override folder.
    If you don't have an override folder, create a new folder named override in the folder containing the swkotor2.exe file.

    If you want to alter the scripts to combine them with beancounter's hardcore mod, you'll have to add two lines in the k_ai_master.nss script as described.
    Go to line 155, which should look like...
    code:
    DelayCommand(fDelay, GN_DetermineCombatRound());

    Put the cursor at the end of this line and press return to make a new line, and on this new blank line, paste in
    code:
    if (!GetPlayerRestrictMode() && !GetFeatAcquired(FEAT_IMPLANT_LEVEL_1)) {
        Hardcore_Mod();
    }

    Then scroll up to the top of the file and go to line 13, which should looke like...
    code:
    #include "k_inc_utility"

    Put the cursor at the end of line 13 and hit return to add a new line below it. On this new line, paste in
    code:
    #include "Hardcore_Mod"

    Then you need to recompile the k_ai_master.nss script you just modified to get an NCS file that the game can use.
    To do this you need the nwnnsscomp.exe utility. Check the tutorial section at the top of the forum, I think there's a description there about how to compile scripts. Make sure you place any source (NSS) scripts that came with the hardcore mod in the same folder as the scripts from this mod before you try to recompile.
    Since I don't use the hardcore mod myself I haven't personally tested if this works, but from what I've heard from others, it appears to work fine.

  16. JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2

    Summary
    In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the player, like all party members, would occasionally say things during combat and when performing other actions.
    In the second game, however, the player is mute.
    This mod restores the player soundset for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords.
    The critical files needed for the original player soundset to function were actually always there, but they were in various states of disuse. This mod fixes them up and restores the player's voice. There are different soundsets for male and female players and they are the same ones as in the first game.

    Installation
    Run Player_Soundset_Restoration.exe.
    Uninstallation
    Remove the installed files.
    Compatibility
    This mod must be installed before any mods that patch soundset.2da. This mod does not use TSLPatcher to patch soundset.2da; it uses a hard 2DA install because the exact line numbers are necessary for the player soundset to work. It feels dirty, but I have to do it.

  17. Darth Nihilus Animation Fix Update

    Darth Nihilus Animation Fix Update
    A long time ago, Ӄhrizby released Darth Nihilus Animation Fix 2.0. It was good, but had some problems - like saber swing sound were not playing, clipping in his running/walking animations, etc... I decided to try to fix it, and Ӄhrizby allowed me to release this as new mod.
    Features:
    Fixed sound issues Fixed clipping in walking and running animations Restored his unique walk and run animations for single saber Fixed some other problems (like his lower jaw was terribly deformed in some animations) Added camerahook, so your screen will not shake in combat BONUS: reverted model structure back to original. It means, that if you have old Avol's Darth Vader mod installed - Vader will have fixed animations too! I hope I fixed everything, but if I've missed something - let me know in support thread.
    Installation.
    Just drop all files to your Override folder.
    Permissions and credits.
    Huge thanks to Ӄhrizby for making original mod and allowing me to release this update.
    If you want to use it in your mods - ask permission from Ӄhrizby. If you get one - no need to ask me, use it like you want.

  18. Kreia's Lightsaber / Long sword

    This mod modifies the scene on the Harbinger where Kreia leaves the party to face Darth Sion. There are two versions of the mod.
    In the Lightsaber option, Kreia will pull out a lightsaber instead of a vibroblade (a green single-bladed lightsaber by default) and will face Sion with that. After he cuts her hand off, the lightsaber is not seen again. If you want her to use a different lightsaber, copy the .uti file of the lightsaber you want, name it lsbkresion.uti and replace the one in the override folder.
    In the Long sword option, there will be a Republic Officer corpse near Kreia. Kreia will now pick up a Long sword from the corpse and use it to fight Sion. It could also have been a vibroblade, but I liked the Long sword better. (In this case it is not possible to change the sword, because it is baked in the corpse placeable model. I tried to do it using a character model and an equipped item, but it is impossible to control the creature's death animation if they are dead and it is impossible to make a creature non-selectable when they're not dead and are just using a death animation.)
    In addition, both versions of the mod give all of Kreia's weapons to the player as she leaves the party.
    The cameras have not been adjusted in any way. I tried to refrain from editing .dlg and .git files to keep this mod compatible with other mods editing this scene. I may address such issues in a future mod.
    Installation:
    Run TSLPatcher.exe.
    Uninstallation:
    (1) Use the 153har.mod file in the backup folder to replace the existing one in the Modules folder inside the game folder.
    (2) Delete lsbkresion.uti from the override folder (Lightsaber version only).
    If you installed mods after this one that affected the 153har.mod, this will undo their changes. To prevent this, you may use ERFedit to manually edit the existing 153har.mod instead of replacing it. Extract the following files from the backup 153har.mod, then add them to the 153har.mod in use:
    153har.are (Long Sword version only)
    a_sioncut.ncs
    a_sioncut2.ncs
    Additionally delete the following files (Long Sword version only):
    k_153har_enter.ncs
    plc_rsldcrps.mdl
    plc_rsldcrps.mdx
    plc_rsldcrps.pwk
    plc_rsldcrpssw.utp
    This will remove this mod while preserving changes to any other files in 153har.mod from any other mods.

  20. Thematic Sith Lords

    Thematic Sith Lords
    Premise
    Anyone who’s played TSL knows that the eponymous Sith Lords are pretty disappointing. The most hyped fight of the entire game, against Nihilus, is almost always trivial. Sion can be dangerous but rarely is, and Kreia’s floating lightsabers are almost always more of a threat than the woman herself.
    Thematic Sith Lords’s purpose is not to directly address these issues, but to push back against some of the underlying problems with these fights that results in them being so boring. While examining the .utc files for Sion, Kreia and Nihilus associated with their respective fights, I found that there was surprisingly little differentiation between them, especially in attributes, and very little specialization per Lord. Worse still, many feats and powers which the Lords should realistically have had were also missing: Sion, for example, lacked Ignore Pain despite his ability to fight through and even utilize his constant pain being the core of his character!
    Thematic Sith Lords, as you may have gathered, is not a difficulty mod as such. Rather, it’s a realism mod the goal of which is to increase the overall difficulty of the Lord fights as a natural result of restructuring the stats, feats and powers of the Lords to more accurately fit their physical and mental conditions, as well as their experiences and training, without making every fight harder for all characters. The goal is to make each fight with a Lord feel different, with each Lord having their own specialties, strengths and weaknesses, such that some character builds will do better against some Lords and struggle against others.
    In Thematic Sith Lords, Sion, for example, has extreme STR and CON, but poor CHA and INT, and abysmal DEX and WIS. His archetype is as a bruiser, who trades taking hits for being able to dish out extremely powerful strikes with no fear of his close-range style resulting in his death—because Sion doesn’t need to worry about dying in a fight, and his combat style should reflect that. This overconfidence results in him being somewhat vulnerable to Force abilities, however, and a Consular might run circles around him while a Guardian struggles to bring him down.
    The goal is that the opposite will also be true—Consulars who had no trouble with Sion might find themselves in a pickle when their abilities bounce off Nihilus, who now has even higher WIS and Will saves than he did before, and the DEX to frequently dodge the lightsabers of most Jedi not built explicitly for melee combat.

    Why use Thematic Sith Lords?
    As noted above, Thematic Sith Lords isn’t a difficulty mod, as most rebalances of the Lords are. The goal is to make each Lord’s attributes, stats, feats and powers a realistic reflection of their condition, and how they would actually fight. If you want pure difficulty, other mods might be for you; if you want to experience differentiated fights that are harder on average than what TSLRCM has to offer, however, Thematic Sith Lords is likely for you.
    Thematic Sith Lords also has two features which other difficulty mods for the Lords often don’t: it also modifies the Sion fight on Korriban and Sion's fight with Atton on Malachor (both of which are frequently left out of other mods), and it uses the TSLPatcher to inject .utc edit data directly into module files for maximum compatibility.

    Compatibility
    This mod requires TSLRCM to be installed first, and NOT to be installed via the Steam Workshop, in order to install properly & function. The Workshop is very poor for mod compatibility, so if you have it installed via the Workshop, it’s best you install it via the installer version anyway.
    This mod should be compatible with anything and everything else that doesn’t edit the Lords’ .utc files. Even mods that do so shouldn’t break this, they might just edit some of the same data.

    Installation
    1. Ensure TSLRCM is downloaded and installed, NOT through the Steam Workshop!
    2. Download the file and unzip it to any folder of your choice (except for the game directory) using a program like 7zip or Winrar.
    3. Run the TSLPatcher .exe and, when prompted, select your game directory (the one with the .exe file in it).
    4. Click “Patch” and you’re done!

    Permissions & Thanks
    As with any mod I have made or will make in the future, this mod has completely open permissions: modify it, redistribute it, reupload it, do whatever. So long as you give me credit for the idea and for the balance settings if you choose to retain most of mine, go for it. You don’t even need to ask me.
    Special thanks to @DarthParametric for his help with putting this together. It was my first time making significant edits with KOTORTool and creating a TSLPatcher install, and this mod quite probably wouldn’t exist without his help.
    Thanks to @Pavijan357 for identifying the missing changes to Sion in 906MAL.mod, and @DarthTyren for his assistance in helping me clean up my changes.ini and apply the changes properly to 909MAL.
    Thanks also to @doctoramanda from the KOTOR Discord for her help making the "preview" image.

  21. Effixian's Female Underwear Alternatives 2019

    ********************************************
    Knights of the Old Republic - The Sith Lords
    ********************************************
    TITLE: Effixian's Female Underwear Alternatives 2019
    AUTHOR: Effix(ian)
    CONTACT: PM me on the forums or find me on Steam

    *************
    INSTALLATION
    *************
    1. Unzip, copy the files in the Models folder to your override folder.
    2. Pick one of the options, copy the files from the matching folder to your override folder.

    ************
    DESCRIPTION
    ************
    My second alternative female underwear mod. I thought I'd make another since the first one is among my most popular mods and I already had most of this done years ago.
    This mod replaces the underwear body model with that of the Twi'lek/Luxa model, for the female player characters, The Handmaiden, Mira and Visas.
    This time there's 5 texture variations to pick from:
    - Black: My own mix of the Twin Suns, Twi'lek and Luxa textures.
    - White and Black: Again my own mix, but now in white for the player character and the Handmaiden. Visas gets the black version and the Handmaiden can get a black version if she goes Dark Side (player characters don't have a separate dark side texture, so those stay white).
    - Luxa: Luxa's outfit, with the correct human skin tones.
    - Twin Suns A: The outfit of one of the Twin Suns assassins.
    - Twin Suns B: The outfit of the other Twin Suns sisters.

    *******
    MIXING
    *******
    If you like can mix things up, for example give Visas the Luxa version, The Handmaiden the white version from White & Black, the player chars the Twin Suns B version.
    If want to do this then you need to know which texture is what:
    P_HandmaiA01.tga = Handmaiden light/neutral
    P_HandmaidBAD01.tga = Handmaiden dark
    P_VisasBA01.tga = Visas light/neutral
    P_VisasBC01.tga = Visas dark
    pfbama01.tga = Asian/Hispanic player characters
    pfbamb01.tga = Black player characters
    pfbamc01.tga = Caucasian player characters & Mira
    pfbamd01.tga = Dark side, for all skin tones
    Mira uses the same texture as the Caucasian player characters, so as long you don't play as a Caucasian character you could also give her a unique version by making pfbamc01.tga different than the texture your player character uses.

    *****
    BUGS
    *****
    None.

    *************
    UNINSTALLING
    *************
    Remove from the Override folder:
    p_handmaidenba.mdl
    p_handmaidenba.mdx
    pfbam.mdl
    pfbam.mdx
    P_HandmaiA01.tga
    P_HandmaidBAD01.tga
    P_VisasBA01.tga
    P_VisasBC01.tga
    pfbama01.tga
    pfbamb01.tga
    pfbamc01.tga
    pfbamd01.tga

  22. KotOR 2 Remastered (AI Upscaled) Cutscenes

    Compatability Note: If you're using TSLRCM, Extended Enclave, or M4-78 EP mods, please install the optional Patch file matching your resolution after installing those other mods.
    The cutscenes were upscaled using Topaz Gigapixel AI, and interpolated to 60fps using SVP Pro 4. Black bars are used to maintain the aspect ratio of the content while bringing the videos to 16:9 overall.
    TO INSTALL:
    Make a backup of your "Movies" folder, which is in your main game directory. Download the main pack(s) that matches the resolution you play at. 1440p and 2160p are each broken into three packs. If using TSLRCM, download the matching Patch file as well. Extract/unzip the pack(s) you downloaded. Replace everything in your Movies folder with the extracted files. Do not place them in your Override folder. If you're using Aspyr's (Steam) version of the game, these should work "out of the box" without any tinkering.
    If you're using a different version, you can use UniWS to patch your game to the correct resolution. If this doesn't work on your version for whatever reason, you may need to use a hex editor to change some values in your game executable to get them to play correctly. Please refer to the following guide on how to do this, skipping the parts about upscaling the cutscenes: https://deadlystream.com/topic/4631-how-to-force-kotor-i-iis-bik-movies-to-play-in-any-resolution/
    NOTE: Many cutscenes in KotOR 2 are in-engine recordings. These have be re-recorded at 4k60 rather than upscaled.

  24. Simulation Room

    Hello there!
    It's aneeryrlue,

  25. Cloaked Journeyman Robes

    DESCRIPTION
    Who said only Sith lords get to wear capes?
    In addition to my recent Jedi Journeyman Robes mod, I'm releasing an additional version that includes a cloak. It is fully animated as it relies on Hunter Run's brilliant flowing cape animations for Revan's armor. The cloak only comes for the male model of the robes and I have no intention of working on a female version for the time being.

    You'll find two downloadable files: a standalone and an upgrade version.

    The first contains the new model with the cloak and all other necessary files.

    The upgrade version only contains the new model and textures and is destined to replace the files from my other mod. Only download this if you have my other mod already installed and wish to use this model for the male version.

    The robes come in two main variations:
    1.    Jedi Journeyman Tunic
    2.    Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic
    You'll notice that the skinning on this model (a.k.a. how the model "reacts" to the various animations) isn't perfect. This is due to the fact that the Revan armor model has a cape that is much narrower than this one. I have, however, tried to make it look as good as possible. Certain animations, such as the running one as you can see above, still have some clipping going on mostly around the shoulders. Sadly this is the best I could do, but I hope you'll enjoy the final result nevertheless.

    HOW TO FIND
    The first varation (Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Dendis Dobo, the honest one of the twin Duros merchants on Telos. The item is added via a script when you ask him to see his wares.
    The second variation (Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Daraala, at the scavenger camp on Dantooine. IMPORTANT: The items are added via a script which only fires up the second time you talk to her.

    COMPATIBILITY
    This mod is compatible with (and was only tested using) TSLRCM which I heavily recommend if you still haven't installed it.
    This mod will be incompatible with any mod that alters the PMBJ and PFBJ models, as well the .DLG files of the conversations with Dendis Dobo (dendis.dlg) and (daraala.dlg)

    IMPORTANT: APPEARANCE.2DA
    This TSLPatcher will modify your appearance.2da to edit the Model J and Tex J columns to solve inconsistensies regarding the textures assignements for the PFBJ and PMBJ models.

    INSTALLATION
    First, you have to download Hunter Run's Flowing Cape mod over here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/216-revans-flowing-robe-tsl/
    Extract both N_DarthRevan.mdl and N_DarthRevan.mdx and copy them in your Override Folder.
    If you have already installed my other Luke ROTJ Robes mod, only download the upgrade version of this mod. If not, download and proceed to install the standalone version.

    For the standalone version, extract the contents of the "Cloaked Journeyman Robes Standalone.rar" archive somewhere on your computer and execute the TSLPatcher.exe file. Le it do its magic, just give it a hand if it can't find its way into your TSL folder by its own.
    To uninstall, delete all the files that are included in the "tslpatchdata" folder from your Override folder (excepted for changes.ini and info.rtf which you won't find in your Overide folder).
    For the upgrade version, simply extract the contents of the "Cloaked Tunic Mod Replacer.rar" into your Override folder and click yes when prompted about replacing the files.
    IMPORTANT: Wearing this robes while training Bao-Dur will crash your game or cause your character to turn invisible. Please download the "BaoFix.rar" file as well and drop its contents into your override folder to fix this issue.
