  1. KOTOR 1 Improved Feat Gain Mod 1.0

KOTOR 1 Improved Class Feat Gain Mod
    By Mellowtron11
The feat progression for Guardians and Sentinels in K1 is rather lackluster. The Vanilla game Sentinel had the same number of feats as a Consular. Even the Guardian, the supposed ‘Soldier’ -esque class for the Jedi has the feat progression similar to that of a Scoundrel. Therefore, I changed the Sentinel and Guardian Class feat gains to that of their KOTOR2 progressions. In addition, it seemed like the droid class feat progressions were swapped around in the vanilla game. So to avoid constantly swapping different featgain.2da files around, here’s a mod to fix all of those feat progressions in one fell swoop.

    Installation Notes-
Drop the featgain.2da file into the override folder.

    Uninstallation-
Delete the featgain.2da file from your override folder

  2. [K1] Force Enlightenment Power

This mod adds a faithful adaptation of Force Enlightenment power from TSL to K1: where the best of the Jedi's Speed, Armor and Valor powers are instantly activated at a reduced cost (30). This power is useful to quickly become ready for difficult battles.

    Compatibility
Since this mod only adds new content and doesn’t modify existing content, it shouldn’t conflict with other mods. It works with Snigaroo’s KOTOR I Full Build Mods from reddit.
    Installation
    1.    Make sure override folder exists at game root directory
    2.    Run TSLPatcher to automatically install
    Uninstallation
    1.    Copy spells.2da in backup and move it to override folder. Overwrite existing spells.2da if any, otherwise remove spells.2da from override folder. Only overwrite existing spells.2da if you don't have any mod installed after this mod that touches spells.2da, otherwise this will accidentally erase any later modifications made to spells.2da.
    2.    Remove ip_frenlight.tga, fp_enlightenment.ncs from override folder.
    3.    Copy dialog.tlk from TSLPatcher backup to the main game folder (not the override folder). Overwrite the existing dialog.tlk.

    Known Bugs
    1.    Saving throw bonuses from Valor and Shield don't stack, only the highest has effect (not script issue, more of a game-engine bug).
    2.    Activation of Speed, Valor, and Shield on top of Enlightenment will result in additional bonuses. Fixing the problem will require massive change to the generic force power script, which is beyond the scope of this mod, but may be added for future updates.

  3. Power Staff by K.O.2 Mods

Power Staff - Made by K.O.2 Mods
(aka "The Frozen One" on deadlystreams)
    Version: 1.0
    About this Mod:
The Power Staff will be located inside the FootLocker at the very beginning of the game, right next to your bed. If you'd rather spawn the modded item in your game, open the console and type "giveitem g_w_qtrstaff06" without quotes, then hit enter. This mod was created for KotOR 1 (K1) in mind only.
Extra Info: This is the first mod I've made for KotOR in roughly 9 years, so please forgive me for being rusty. I aim to only improve with each mod going forward.

    How to use/activate/enable this Mod:
Just copy every file in this folder (except the ReadMe file of course) and paste the files into your Override folder.

Those that helped me with this Mod:
Thanks to JCarter426 for telling me what I needed to do in order to get my custom textures to show up in game. Without his help I would've likely been stuck much longer on this.
Regarding the uploading of this Mod:
Please don't upload this mod anywhere without my approval. If you would like to improve on it or add it to a mod collection, please contact me for approval. If I give you the green light to do so, all I ask is for you to give me credit for the mod(s) that I've made.

  4. Dark Jedi Wear Robes (for JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes Mod)

This mod changes the Dark Jedi appearance (male and female) from a skin tight jumpsuit to the TSL Knight robes (ported to K1 by JCarter). The hood and head of the original models have been retained, with the hood being worked into the torso mesh to make it a more natural looking extension of the cloak. Two extra masked head variants have also been added, ported from the TSL Dark Jedi/Assassins. The Dark Jedi you encounter throughout the game have had their appearances diversified between these three versions, along with swapping a few genders here and there. Additionally, the three Dark Jedi masters on the Star Forge have been given unique appearances.
This mod takes advantage of the port of TSL’s robes added by @JCarter426’s mod “JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1”. As such, that mod is a prerequisite. You must at the very least install the supermodels from JC's mod (S_FemaleXX/S_MaleXX), as this mod will not function correctly without those.

    Compatibility:
As mentioned, the mod relies on JC's robes mod. As such, any other mod that alters the supermodels will not be compatible unless based on his supermodels. The mod changes the base vanilla appearances of the four male and one female Dark Jedi. It will not be compatible with any mods that alter those. The mod makes extensive module changes. Make sure that any mods that brute force MOD file installs, like NPC Overhaul or K1R, are installed first. Acknowledgements:
Thanks to @JCarter426 for making the modder's resource used to make these robes available, for helping out with script edits for the Star Forge Deck 2/3 modules to diversify the random spawns, and tracking down the obscure spawn origin of one particular group Thanks to @Fair Strides for the edited version of TSLPatcher capable of handling duplicate filenames Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to @Darth_Sapiens for the Cubemap Pack modder's resource Masks for two of the Masters on the Star Forge ported from The Old Republic MMO Thanks to zaramot on the Xentax forums for the TOR GR2 Max import script Thanks to @akimbo73 for pointing out the TSLPatcher issue with the SF Deck 3 module

  5. [K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix

[K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix

This mod will fix the inconsistency with one of the Sith Student/Tamlen dialogue which describe Tariga as a female/she while in fact [by appearance and gender-check] Tariga is a male/he. In dialogue with Tamlen he will describe Tariga as a "he" now. In addition to that, this mod will also change Tamlen's display name to his specific [formerly Sith Student].
Don't worry about the voice-overs inconsistency; this mod takes care of that. It will now heard as "he" instead of "she", in addition to the aforementioned text fix.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With v1.0.0 release I aim to have the mod its standalone LIP, to perfectly incorporate the lip-sync. The current version fits very well with the vanilla LIP in use - though started from the change which is "he" section, there's a fraction of milliseconds differences between the lip and the VO.
There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
This will adds new entries to your game's dialog.tlk - where they stored strings of dialogues for the game. If you didn't wish the mod to do so you may want to cancel the installation This only been tested with the English version of the game; it is full working and leave no unwanted bugs whatsoever, so be advised then Uninstallation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe], and choose Uninstall option. Also, by keeping the installlog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where
Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything that is on the surface by now, though it won't be compatible with mods that share the same scope with it. For assurance of this mod to work, just install this mod much later after every mods has, or try to avoid mods that force-overrides shared content with this mod
For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Sith Academy [korr_m35aa] module
The mod was play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them
Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. And be kindly; give credits to where it's due. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to credit BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant work here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

    [K1] T3-M4 Custom Portrait

  7. Bastila Romance Scriptfix

    Bastila Romance Scriptfix
    for Kotor 1 (GOG/retail)
    by Markus Ramikin

    I. The bugs (SPOILERS)
    *************************
After you've kissed Bastila, you can have a final conversation with her where the romance gets put on hold "until Malak is defeated". Two later dialogs potentially have lines that bring up the romance. These dialogs have bugs:
First, confronting Evil Bastila on Temple Summit, on Rakata:
    - if you've had that post-kiss conversation with her, the game will not recognize the romance, and you will miss out on certain dialog options.
Second, the final confrontation with Bastila on the Star Forge has an opposite problem:
    - If you've sunk the romance completely, for example by saying "Sorry, Bastila, that starship won't fly", the game will mistakenly give you the romance dialogue option.
Of course Kotor 1 players have known for years that Bastila's romance is buggy, and several attempted fixes already exist. But these modify Bastila's dialog file from the Ebon Hawk conversations, so 1. they don't fix the second situation, on the Star Forge, and 2. they don't help a player whose savegame is already past the kiss+conversation part.
This modification fixes both situations directly. Now you will get romance-related dialogue options on Rakata and the Star Forge regardless of whether you've discussed the kiss with her afterwards, but you will not get these options if you've shot her down.
    *************************************
II. The bugs - technical description
    (you may safely skip this)
    *************************************
The romance is controlled by the variable K_SWG_BASTILA. Once you've completed Bastila's plot it should have one of these values:
    K_SWG_BASTILA = 12: kissed Bastila = romance active
K_SWG_BASTILA = 13: kissed Bastila AND talked afterwards = romance active
K_SWG_BASTILA = 99: romance sunk (or unavailable because the PC is female)
The Temple Summit dialog only recognizes the romance if the value is 12, which is why common advice to players is to not talk to Bastila after the kiss.
The Star Forge dialog only recognizes the romance if the value is greater than 12, which means it will mistakenly recognize it even if it's 99, and may fail to recognize it if you didn't talk to Bastila after the kiss.
To further complicate things, some of the Temple Summit dialog's endings run a script that sets the value to 13, even when it was 99. This mistakenly restores a killed romance for players who wanted to just stay friends.
My fixed scripts recognize the romance at values 12 and 13 in both dialogs, as well as prevent the mistaken reactivation when it was 99.
    ****************
    III. Installation
    ****************
Unzip, copy the files from Override into your game's Override folder.
    *****************
    IV. Other mods
    *****************
Compatible with any mod out there that doesn't modify the same script files, or redesign the romance too much (i.e. the K_SWG_BASTILA variable behaves the same way).
Compatible with K1R. At the time I'm writing this K1R contains a different Bastila romance fix, but that simply becomes irrelevant if my mod is present. Its changes to Bastila's dialog file neither hurt nor help.
For authors of mods that allow a female PC x Bastila romance: I provide a version of my fix that removes the gender check. "Use it well. Use it for good." Players should note that this does NOT automatically make my fix compatible with such mods - it depends on how these mods are written. Consult the authors to be sure.
The mod was tested with the GOG version, and I expect it'll work fine with the old retail/CD versions too. I will not be testing the Steam version, and I make no guarantees about it at all. (PSA: Don't get gaming classics from Steam, kids - good old games are the speciality of Good Old Games, duh.)
    ********************
    V. Old savegames
    ********************
Compatible with pre-existing savegames, including past the kiss+conversation on the Ebon Hawk, up until the Temple Summit confrontation with Dark Bastila.
Savegames from past the Temple Summit may fail to benefit from the fix fully, especially if your character's relationship with Bastila is supposed to be platonic.
    *****************
    VI. Changelog
    *****************
    1.0 -> 1.1:
    - Players who were deliberately NOT romancing Bastila could still sometimes get romantic lines in the second confrontation, on the Star Forge. This is properly fixed now; there was one more offending script to take care of.
    - [by request] added a variant without a gender check, so that this fix can (potentially) be used with mods that allow a female x Bastila romance.
    ************************************
    VII. Disclaimers and permissions.
    ************************************
The usual stuff applies. The mod is provided as-is and with no guarantees; by installing it, you accept it may melt your computer, cause nuclear war, and hasten the heat death of the Universe.
Distribute freely, including incorporating it in your mods, as long as you give credit.

  9. [K1] Rakghoul Fiend

This mod overhauls the appearance and attributes of Rakghoul Fiend; an alpha ghoul found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers which seem was intended to have an unique demeanor with them.

    # Background #
When facing the Rakghouls in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, I noticed that few of the raks named as Rakghoul Fiend but I saw nothing unique about them. Well, thought that they need an unique demeanor with them; hence the fruits of labor then.

    # About this Mod #
This modification makes unique appearance for the Rakghoul Fiends [complete with their own unique sound-sets] found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, and also bump their attributes by an reasonable imbalance amount. Well, I didn't include a vanilla patch - guess you'll have to deal with them, luls.
One aspects of uniqueness from them is they had their body upscaled for ~+20% with different looks compared to the generic ones.
Few elements of this v1.0 skin; like the red eye - was inspired from Trex's "The Jedi Masters" Rakghoul, nuff-said - credits to Trex for make it happened.

    # Final Remarks #
There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod; put these files to the 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted. Also, by keeping the installog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where.
Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - only make sure to install this mod after every mods has. Though haven't being tested with Kainzorus Prime's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and N-DReW25's "K1 Gameplay Improvement" installed, presumably they'll be compatible. But be advised that compatibility issue of this mod working along with them is not yet confirmed.
Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries.
For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Undercity [tar_m04aa] and the Lower Sewers [tar_m05aa] module
The mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them
Redistribution: for this particular full-version, I'm asking you not to redistribute them - I'd like to stay in touch with so I know where to provide supports. With initial release which is v0.8; I grant permission to redistribute them with usual policy applies. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up to, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

  10. Dantooine Grass Fix

This mod provides a work-around for those experiencing a problem with the grass on Dantooine where it looks as though the grass is floating from the surface of the plains, and becomes glitchy.
I believe you shouldn't have this problem with the latest versions of the game, but I'm making this available anyway.
I had suffered from this issue myself and managed to find this 'fix' to the problem. Actually it's not a real fix as only the game developers can do that but you can try this mod to work around the issue.
If you suffer from this problem then you can try this mod as an alternative to disabling grass completely whilst you play through Dantooine.
What it does is make sure 'fast grass' is turned on for the 'high' graphical preset. The other presets are unaffected because that option is already enabled for them, but many of you will of course want to be able to switch to the 'high' graphics preset.
Screenshots have now been included as of revision 1.01. I want to draw your attention to the fact I don't have screenshots of the original issue, but I'm showing how the fast grass setting looks here (just looks slightly shorter to me, if anything). For now here is the mod though and you should only try this fix if you know and have the issue with the grass on Dantooine.
You can test if this mod will help you by enabling cheats and then warping to the area in the screenshots:
    1. In swkotor.ini under [Game Options] add the line EnableCheats=1
    2. Start a new game or load an old save you don't care about
    3. Open the cheat console using the ` or ~ key depending on your layout.
    4. Type warp danm14aa and hit enter
    --Compatibility--
As far as I'm aware I'm the only one who uses this file so far and that was with Kotor 2 for my Reduced Graphics Mod. If you're ever asked to overwrite, say no and abort installation for now.
    --Installation--
Drop videoquality.2da into your Override folder. At minimum do this just before leaving the Jedi Enclave or just before entering the Taris Undercity. Preferably install when starting a new game.

  11. AndroidK1 ImmersiveHUD

ImmersiveHUD (or short iHUD) for Android-KotOR by MilesTeg
    ---------------------------------------------
    ===== Description =====
This is a simple, lightweight fix to tone down the very bright HUD.
It's especially useful if your device can't handle frame buffer graphic effects (=unable to adjust brigthness).
I mostly adjusted the alpha channels to add nearly full transparency (reduce brightness of GUI elements).
Additionally, I've adjusted HUD-Elements for dialog scenes. Now, while choosing answers you can see your own player character instead of a huge blue menu blocking the view.
Requirenments:  You'll need 1 MB additional internal storage

  12. JC's Security Spikes for K1

Security spikes are disposable items that give the player a temporary boost to their Security skill when activated, helping them pick more difficult locks. At least, that's how it's supposed to be. That's how they work on the Xbox version, and in KOTOR 2, but security spikes don't actually do anything at all on the PC version of KOTOR 1.
The cause seems to be some sort of bug in the GUI that prevents security spikes from ever appearing in their intended slot. So when interacting with a door, there isn't an option to scroll from the Security skill to security spikes, as there is in KOTOR 2. The GUI was changed for the port from Xbox to PC, and security spikes probably got left out due to oversight. I couldn't find any way to resolve the issue, though, so I came up with two alternative options.
    Option A
Option A replicates the security spikes' intended function as best as I could manage. They’ve been given an activate item property and appear in the non-medical item slot (along with stimulants and shields).
When a character activates a security spike, they receive a temporary boost to their Security skill and proceed to unlock the nearest door or container. Apart from the boost, the skill check for the lock is the same as usual: 1d20 + Security vs. the lock’s DC. Security spikes are single-use and discarded whether the character succeeds in picking the lock or not; however, they are not used up if the attempt was impossible – if there wasn’t anything in range or the lock required a special keycard, for example. Regular security tunnelers grant a +5 bonus and security spike tunnelers grant a +10 bonus.
    Option B
Option B removes security spikes from the game, replacing them with credits. The value is equivalent to the most you could get from selling the original security spike items to a merchant. Mission’s ability to create security spikes on the Ebon Hawk is removed.

  13. [K1] Marlena Venn "Legends"

This mod made readjustments to Marlena Venn, both her appearance and positioning on the Dune Sea - to further improve the gameplay aspects from encountering her, and bring a fresh-new experience with her new looks and some other stuffs!

    # Background #
When I met Marlena the first time I know that she's special - in a mysterious way, lol. Yeah, I catch her mysterious side so I did a makeover of her - appearance wise. About the positioning - it bugged me where she was placed so I moved her. Particularly when the conversation was initiated, so with her new placement it looks like she did make the conversation first. And that's how I see the encounter should start.

    # About this Mod #
This modification makes unique appearance for Marlena Venn of Dune Sea [Tatooine], also reposition her to a new spot and replace her recorded voice with the filtered version so it sounded like an actual playback straight from a droid.
GIT positioning preview: Encounter quick-preview [Outdated - v1.0.0]:
Ah-ha! It also makes Marlena equip a Blaster Pistol, some Credits, and a Repair Kit.
    Here's a breakdown of why's:
Blaster Pistol: because she was "through planning", she wants to make sure of everything Credits: well, she planned on going shuttle somewhere - it just makes sense for her to carry some Repair Kit: some leftover from earlier tinkering with the droids Those new content was made to connect with jc2's "Kill Marlena". I have tested them together on my playthrough and they work like a charm! A truly-fun content worth installing for you - Dark Siders! Just make sure to install this mod last of them. Without it there'll be no change of plot whatsoever and those additional stuff wouldn't have effects.

    # Final Remarks #
There's always room for an improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] and then hit the [Install Mod ->] button.
Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tat_m18aa.mod; put that file back to 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted.
To uninstall the Voice Over simply put back its backup to streamwaves \ m18ab \ 10wi06 folder - overwrite when prompted.
Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything, including jc2's "Kill Marlena" - just make sure to install this mod after every mods has.
Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tat_m18aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries.
For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Dune Sea - Tatooine [tat_m18aa] module
This mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R installed and is compatible with them
Redistribution: I'm asking you not to redistribute this mod - I'd like to stay in touch with them so I know where to provide support. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to SpaceAlex, BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of this mod assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant here is a very warm welcome, welcome.

  14. [K1] Sith Armor - Freelook Filter Mod

[K1] Sith Armor - Freelook Filter Mod

This mod made readjustments to freelook effect of Sith Armor when used by the party members -particularly on Taris- to made it look like they see things from Sith trooper/armored soldier POV - or closer to what I can imagine of.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's always room for an improvement so - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] and then hit the [Install Mod ->] button
Uninstallation: run the Uninstall option from the installation menu
Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - except any that alters the same 2DA entries
Suggestion: this mod can be finely paired with Arctrooper209's "Sith Armory" with no particular install order and which I strongly suggest to have this work in conjunction with them
This mod will have direct effect anytime and anywhere it had been installed
This mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R installed and is compatible with them
Redistribution: if you wish to redistribute the mod or release a mod/project that is based on this mod implementation you won't have to ask for permission; though all I ask is a simple appreciation to my work on the modulation value that's being core of this mod - it takes some time and effort on getting this all to work

  16. Very Nice! Load Screens for KotOR

Very Nice! Load Screens for KotOR 1.1 by ajdrenter
    Description:
This is a complete set of replacement load screens for high resolution UI scaled configurations. It includes compatibility patches for Jorak Uln's reskins, jc2's "Lehon Mandalorian Expansion", and Silveredge9's "Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge". So far there is a 16x9 version and 4x3 version. This mod requires a high resolution user interface mod such as "KotOR High Resolution Menus" by ndix UR. I also recommend "HD MENUS AND UI Assets" by JackInTheBox, who's mod provided the template for this mod.
    Installation:
Just drag and drop from your desired folders to your override.
    FOLDER LIST
kotor - All base game load screens
jorak - Screens for Jorak Uln's reskins
jc2mando - Load screen for jc2's "Lehon Mandalorian Expansion"
bos - All screens for Silveredge9's "Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge"
    Credits:
JackInTheBox for the base load screen texture which I used to do this whole mod. Thanks!
Thanks to the whole community for such a wonderful wealth of content over the years.
    Usage:
You may use this mod for any non commercial use and without contacting me as long as you give me credit for my assets. If you use assets belonging to JackInTheBox you must obtain consent from him either through his release documents or personal contact.

  17. JC's Minor Fixes for K1

    Summary
This is a collection of various things that I found annoying enough to alter. I collect things that I don't think warrant their own mods into a single mod, to be released to the general public when it becomes more substantial.
    Contents
I've divided this mod into five categories: Straight Fixes, Bug Fixes, Resolution Fixes, Aesthetic Improvements, and Things What Bother Me Fixes.
Straight Fixes are fixes for issues I think are genuine errors or mistakes or oversights or what have you. There's a problem, here's a fix for it. No artistic license is involved.
Bug Fixes really fall under straight fixes but I've separated them into their own category because they're more severe and there's absolutely no reason not to have them. They fix bugs that could potentially break your game. What I've included are either well known and easy for me to do a quick fix or came to my attention directly. There are lots of other bugs this mod doesn't fix, so I strongly suggest that you seek out a more extensive bug-fixing mod.
Resolution Fixes are all textures from the game for which there were identical, higher resolution textures somewhere else in the game files. So I've swapped the lower resolution ones for the higher resolution ones. I've separated these from the straight fixes because a) I didn't make any of the content here - it's all extracted from the game, and b) they don't actually fix "problems" per se - it's just an increase in resolution. It looks the same, with slightly more pixels.
Aesthetic Improvements are my attempts to improve the visual quality in certain areas. I've tried to maintain the original aesthetic of the game while improving the quality. But the nature of the improvements necessitates new content created by me. You might not like my work, or you might use a different mod that touches on these areas, or whatever, so I've isolated these from the other fixes.
Things What Bother Me Fixes fix things what bother me. They might not bother you but they bother me, so I've isolated those as well.
For a full release history, see the accompanied file.

  20. [K1] Gordon Freeman from Half Life - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 01 APR 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:
If you’ve played Half Life 1 or 2, perhaps you might have considered making your character sound like Gordon Freeman.  With this mod for KotOR1, now you can!
    Installation:
You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.
    1) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them.  (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.
    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.
    3) When you're done with the beta, you can delete my files from the Streamsounds folder and put the original files back in there.

Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful.
“I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!”

    Uninstall:
Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless notified in writing of permission granted by me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either.

I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested and approved by me in writing before your use.

  22. Canderous' helmet-filtered voice

This mod was made to increase the immersion for those who like me, love to play with Canderous in full Mandalorian armor.
It applies radio effect on Canderous' voice.

    Completed lines:
Taris  ✓ Canderous conversation (stories, etc.)  ✓ Carth and Bastila banter  ✓ Jagi quest line ✓ Leviathan ✓ Multiple random reactions ✓ Soundset ✓ I've done my best to locate most of the dialogs, but some of the files are a real pain to find. If you happen to stumble upon missing soundfile let me know.
It would be extremely helpful if you told me which module it happend and which NPC started the conversation (or you starded with).
THIS IS NOT A CLOTHING/ARMOR MOD, IT CONTAINS MODIFIED AUDIO FILES ONLY!
IT REQUIRES ANOTHER MOD TO LOOK PROPERLY FE: "Mandalorian Ultimate Mod"!
    Have fun!

  24. KOTOR NPC Stat Fixes Mod

    KOTOR 1 NPC Fixes 1.0
A Mod for Knights of the Old Republic
    Author- Mellowtron11
    Release Date-3/16/2019

    Description-
This mod is intended to fix some of the inconsistencies found with your party members’ stats and feats in KOTOR1 as listed below. This mod intends to fix these little oversights.
    Installation-
Copy and paste or drag and drop the UTC files into your override folder.
    Installation Notes-
To have the mod take effect, load a save game before your party members join your team or start a new game. It is best to start fresh with a new game as to not conflict with the current .utc files from your party’s NPCs. If you install this mod after party members have joined your group, the intended changes will not take effect for the party members already joined and will instead continue to show the original stats. Alternatively, load the .utc files that you want to change before you enter the module where you first meet that NPC.
    Uninstallation-
Delete the proper .utc files from your override folder.
    Known Bugs-
None, but if there are any, please message me at Deadly Stream. All of these characters have been tested by me.
    Permissions-
Please do not claim credit for this mod or redistribute it without the author’s explicit permission.
    Changelog Version 1.0
    Carth
    ·        Removed Blaster Pistol Specialization feat, as Carth had two level 4 feats for some reason.

  25. HD MENUS AND UI Assets

These are basically High Definition upscaled assets for the first Kotor title.  I was inspired by the games original awful stoneage 800x600 artwork and NDIX's
groundbreaking  work. Mod does not touch every original GUI element, and as such is not yet feature complete. For one, most LOADING SCREENS are still missing HD versions. They will come eventually.

My hope is people find these as pleasing of an improvement, as i did. Instructions, such as they are, are in the README. As, this is my first mod, any ideas, suggestion, criticism, repackaging improvemts are highly encouraged. The Mod has been created with 16:9 aspect ratios and 1080/1440p in mind. I shall do my best to fix any potential problems.
