  1. Czerka cut module restoration

    In 2014, InSidious provided the Lost Modules Pack mod that was providing a playable version from cut content modules. The czerka depot module needed some work to be entirely playable.
    This is a modder's ressource. All you need to do is drop the m21aa.mod in the module folder, and the other files into override. 
    Work done and disclaimer :
    All the geometry errors for the models have been fixed as best as i could (misplaced walls, missing parts, missing ceilings, a lot of geometry holes...) The lightmaps have been partially fixed for a good portion of the module, there are still some rough lightmap transition between each room tho and i'm not skilled enough yet to fix this entirely The walkmeshes have been entirely fixed There was no minimap. I pulled out a custom minimap using holocron toolset and edited the .are from the module so it is displayed accurately in the level. I placed 2 doors and some waypoints, they are leftovers from work on my own mod. You'll have to edit this if you want to use it for your own work. You will have to edit the .are to change the name from the module depending on how you wanna use it. It is currently named "Endar Spire - Command Module". There is still 1 file missing, the .pth file which allows npcs to walk inside the module in a scripted way. I will see to pull out a custom .pth file. Credit:

    DESCRIPTION: This mod populates some of the empty spots at the Tatooine cantina, mainly the four alcoves with tables on the room. Each sitter has the corresponding item depending on the animation played. The laughing animation is also implemented as another placeable sitting animation. The mod also adds a Duros as a new placeable sitter in the game, replacing the Twilek male that wasn’t being used. Finally, the two low-poly human sitters at the Upper City Taris cantina are replaced by high-poly models.
     
    INSTALLATION: Just run the .exe that comes with this download and select the game's installation main folder (NOT override).
     
    COMPATIBILITY: This mod should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t mess with the placeable sitters in the cantinas.
     
    LICENSE: Anyone is welcome to use this mod in any of their mods or include it in a mod build.

    Installation:
    Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
    Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.
    Once the mod is installed, delete "PLC_SSldCrps.tpc" from the Override folder.

    Description:
    On Taris, you encounter a female off duty Sith by the name of Sarna who says the following:
    "I'm off duty right now, so I'm not in uniform. My name is Sarna - junior officer first class with the Sith occupation force."- Sarna
    A 'first class junior officer' makes it sound as if she is one of the many female Sith Officer NPCs you encounter throughout the game, however, the player has the option of stealing her Sith Armor which instead suggests she is a Female Sith Soldier... so where are the Female Sith Soldiers?
    This mod will add Female Sith Soldiers throughout the K1 story alongside their male comrades in arms, they can be found in the following locations:
    Endar Spire
    Taris Undercity 
    Taris Military Base
    Manaan Military Base
    Leviathan
    Star Forge
    These new NPCs are a rework of the default Sith Trooper model, giving them feminine curves and the female animations. This, combined with the new Female Sith Soldier soundset (an edit of the normal Sith Soldier soundset), 
    will present authentic Female Sith Soldiers. Only the appearances and soundsets of the modified Sith are changed, the difficulty and loot drops of the affected Sith Soldiers remain unchanged.

    Known Bugs:
    This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
    When the Female Sith Soldier dies, her arms sometimes appear to clip into the ground. This is an issue with the model and isn't something I can fix. 

    Incompatibilities:
    Incompatible with A Future Pilot's Sith Soldier Texture Restoration mod, his mod has been integrated into Ladies of the Sith Army so there is no need to use his mod.
    Please report any further incompatibilities!
    Should be compatible with most Sith Trooper reskins!

  4. Kebla Yurt Renovation

    Description:
    Kebla Yurt's Equipment Emporium is a weapons store that you'll come across at the beginning of the game, the entire shop is decked out with blasters, swords, grenades, armor, and other props to really sell the point across that this IS a weapons store.
    Some noticeable issues with Kebla Yurt's Equipment Emporium is that Kebla herself stands by a desk in the center of the room even though there is a shop window at the back of the shop that's very similar to the shop window that fellow shop owner Janice Nall stands behind in her nearby Droids by Janice store. This shop window is also obscured by a kiosk and two part piles which do a poor job at hiding the shop window behind it.
    Another issue is that there are several metal boxes at the back of the shop to the left which clips into an armor display.
    The Kebla Yurt Renovation mod does the following:
    * Moves two of the three metal boxes to the right side of the store right at the front of the store right next to the entrance. 
    * Moves the third of the three metal boxes between an armor display and some bags in the middle of the left wall. 
    * Moves the Kiosk away from the shop window and moves it to the far left side of the wall.
    * Moves the part piles away from the shop window and moves them to the area where the three metal boxes used to be.
    * Makes Kebla Yurt's desk invisible.
    * Moves Kebla Yurt behind the shop window.

    Known Bugs:
    This mod shouldn't have any bugs but if there are please report them to me on Deadlystream.

  5. "CineMalak" - HD Malak Retexture

    As a staunch "vanilla" purist, I've been dismayed at the selection of HD retextures for Malak made available, so I decided to finally make one myself. For years, I've been using an older 1k upscale of the stock in-game texture for Malak and it just wasn't fitting with the other HD mods I have installed over the years. I still wanted to keep the 1k upscale, as it just "pops" in-game really well. I wanted to approach this as if a film costumer had to interpret the original designs. I wanted to stay as close to the original design as possible but use real-world fabrics and materials present today to reinterpret the original artwork into something more in line with the simple and robust OT aesthetics. I publish this with the express permission by @Dark Hope whose HD Malak texture served as the base for the alterations I made.
    I kept her neck collar untouched and recolored and added a few more textures on top of the chest piece to make it feel like a real costume material, like a rubber or foam piece. I then combined the upscaled vanilla texture for the accessories and hands and further painted and textured on top of them. The more exhaustive texturing work are the soft parts, adding my own custom textures to reinterpret what was there. I made the arm wraps by scanning double-pleated cotton gauze, backlaid with heavy textured watercolor paper for some depth and thickness, and used a crushed cotton, pleated crepe fabric for the rest of his compression coveralls, taking inspiration from vintage high-altitude jumpsuits. I added piping for where seams would be to join the different fabrics, and have pleated nylon stretch fabric for the pits and back of the knees for mobility; the cape and tabards are simple black wool drapery, ala Darth Vader, but given slightly different hues to read better on screen, much like components of Darth Maul's costume. I gave him ribbed, padded kneepads, as seen on some Jon Mollo costume sketches, and some back detailing to fill some empty space but keeping true to existing design elements. I added little quirks like hidden stitching, and folds and pleats that would visually "explain" why his cape never folds over his shoulders or how the wrappings on his arms don't bunch up at the shoulders. Little touches that just make it seem more like a real-world costume.
    Paired with the 'red eyes' option for Malak's head, also by Dark Hope, now there is a Malak texture option I think most can be proud of.
     
    INSTALLATION: Just drop the file into your game's "Override" folder.
    REMOVAL: Remove file from the "Override" folder.

    Included are a few different versions from which you can pick, complete with updated portrait.
    I'm leaving out the party selection images because they might conflict with popular HD GUI mods. If you're not using that, then I hope it's not a big problem that he has the vanilla look there.
    The screenshots are from KotOR 2, but things look pretty much the same.

  7. Ajunta Pall's blades reskin

    Small mod => Small description.
    This is a modernisation I thought needed to be made for Ajunta Pall's swords. You'll find the instructions in the ReadMe file.
    Only actual REQUIREMENT : Crazy34's New lightsaber blade models for K1 : please install the following parts of his mod before installing mine :
    1) Vanilla sabers : main part ;
    2) Black core lightsabers ;
    3) Unstable lightsabers ;
    4) Crossguards lightsabers ;
    5) Black core crossguard lightsabers.
    Being a modernisation, I had to use a popular lightsabers improvement mod. This mod is not for purists. I believe most players downloading it will already have Crazy34's lightsabers in their build anyway.
     
    My mod is compatible with basically everything, including K1R, K1CP and RC-K1CP, but also and more accurately :
    1) Rece's Ajunta Pall's swords revamped : Install his mod before mine. Take the compatibility version.
    2) Ebmar's Ajunta Pall's Legends blade : Take my mod's vanilla version. Install his mod after mine.
    If you want both of these mods, you might want to do it in this order : Swords Revamped ---> my mod (compatibility version) ---> Legends Blade. This way you should get new stats and price for the swords, which will be lightsabers, except for Ajunta Pall's sword itself, which will have Ebmar's look. You also have my other Korriban's mod's Ajunta Pall's new blade option, if you want it to be a red double sword. Needs this vibroweapons overhaul though (but it's quite good, dw).
    3) VarsityPuppet's Spectral Ajunta Pall canonical appearance. This mod is, in my humble opinion, a must have for every KotOR player. It doesn't edit the same files so no instructions needed.

    This mod aims to make Taris easier by giving you Class Specific items on the Endar Spire. These items are quite powerful and should hopefully make Taris a breeze.

    If you want to completely uninstall the mod, delete all the files you copied into your Override Folder. 
     
    KNOWN INCOMPATIBILITY:
     This mod is incompatible with any mod that modifies "end_trask01.dlg". Anything else should* be fine. If you wish to make the mod compatible with another mod, you'll need to modify the OTHER mod's trask dialog. It's super simple, just add the scripts end_soldier anywhere in the dialog file after the game's confirmed you are a soldier. Do the same thing with the scout and scoundrel scripts (end_scout & end_scrl).

    KNOWN BUGS:
     
     - None are none at the moment, if you find any bugs, please let me know via a PM on Deadlystream.
     Note: Due to the small size of the mod, I doubt that there will be any bugs.

  13. Diversified Sith Academy Guards

    This mod adds unique appearances for each of the guards in the Sith Academy on Korriban.
    Each guard uses a modified version of the Sith Trooper model with the helmet removed and has a unique head ported from TSL.
    This mod will not work with saved games in which you have already entered the Sith Academy, as module data is stored within saves. You will need to use a save from before you enter the Sith Academy or a start a new game for the changes to apply.
    I’m aware that there was previously a similar modified Sith Trooper model which is no longer available, but this one improves on that by having a slightly nicer modification to the mesh itself and has the adjusted vertices re-weighted to prevent gaps appearing between the body and neck during certain animation.
    Installation 
    Run the included installer and the mod will install itself.

    DESCRIPTION: This mod adds Pazaak cards and drinking cups to the corresponding sitters in the cantinas. It also fixes the drinking animation for the aqualish in lower city Taris cantina. I realized that there is a bith drinking in the Tatooine cantina, so I tweaked that as well.

  16. SWTOR Icons Modder's Resource

    This is a dump of various icons from The Old Republic, converted to PNGs for ease of use. The full dump is the 315MB archive which are untouched besides the format conversion, while the smaller 58MB archive is a subset of ones I considered useful/interesting and ran through an upscaler to resize and clean them up a little. I extracted these a while back, so it's not completely up to date with the latest version of the game.
    Use how you see fit, since they don't belong to me. But credit Bioware/Broadsword/EA as the original source.

  17. JC's Vision Enhancement for K1

    Summary
    Throughout the game, there are cutscenes of the player sleeping and having Force visions to further the plot. This mod fixes two things about those scenes that bothered me.
    First, the first of these scenes is supposed to happen in the party's apartment on Taris, but is quite clearly set on the Ebon Hawk like all the other scenes. I've edited the area used for the visions to put in a copy of the apartment to make the location consistent.
    Second, the scenes show the player wearing whatever item they happened to have equipped when the scene started. So the player would routinely sleep in their clothing, even armor. I've edited the cutscene scripts to remove the player's equipment for the duration of the vision.
    Warning: This mod reportedly causes crashes on Steam Deck, so it should not be used on that platform until a fix is available.
    Installation
    Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Vision_Enhancement_K1.exe. Select which version to install:
    If you use the KOTOR 1 Restoration, choose the K1R-Compatible Installation.
    Otherwise, choose the Basic Installation. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). Uninstallation
    Remove the installed file. Compatibility
    This mod is not compatible with any other mods that alter the vision module STUNT_00.

  19. Dantooine enclave extra rooms modder's ressource

    Description:
    This is a modder's ressource. In K1 jedi enclave there is a dormitory for visitors with 3 opened rooms. 2 other doors were present in front of the 3 rooms, but were closed (without any geometry behind them). I mirrored the preexisting rooms so now there are 3 playable rooms. Basically you just have to drop the 5 files included into override, but you will also have to edit the doors from the .git because in vanilla 2 of them are closed and the last one is non existent because it was a wall.
    Disclaimer :
    This mod should be compatible with anything i guess?
    The only minor problem with my ressource is that i extended the basic corridor's walkmesh to be able to walk into the new rooms. This is not the "by the book" way to pull it out, but i couldnt manage to make the door links work despite my numerous attempts. So the only downside from this ressource is, if you want to have a different ambient sound in these new rooms separate from the main corridor, you can't. But in vanilla the rooms should have the same ambient sound than the corridor, so its not a huge deal here. 
    I also provided an edited minimap.

  20. BOSSR Hybrid Robes for JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robes

    Description:
    15 years ago, the "Brotherhood of Shadow - Solomon's Revenge" mod was released. BOSSR adds 8 hours worth of new content to Kotor, adding a brand new subplot to the game in which you team up with a companion from the player's past to defeat an ancient threat with the help of some new friends complete with 11 new areas, full voice acting, new bonus side quests, and new items.
    Some of these items include new Jedi Robe items, and much like everything else in the BOSSR mod these Jedi Robes are highly detailed.
    Unfortunately, the BOSSR mod has its criticisms:
    * It completely derails the Star Forge questline for 8 hours, especially with the flash back scenes.
    * The voice acting, whilst good, used low quality microphones as they were recorded between 2006 and 2009.
    * The dialogue is almost Shakespearean, this is especially noticeable with player response lines as the player usually speaks like an immature goof in the vanilla game yet has a full personality switch in the BOSSR content.
    * If there is a mod conflict towards the end of the BOSSR mod then you've potentially wasted 7 hours for nothing.
    * Due to its sheer size, it's highly incompatible with other mods and it's hard to determine if other mods will break BOSSR as breaks can occur very late in the BOSSR mod.
    * Popular mods like K1R and K1CP aren't compatible with it, making it an instant rejection by many in the fanbase.
    Despite all of the above criticisms, the BOSSR mod still has its dedicated fanbase who would be willing to neglect modern mainstream mods like K1CP to use BOSSR instead. Whilst I do agree that BOSSR is arguably one of the best Kotor mods ever made, I don't play it due to those incompatibilities.
    I wouldn't have made this mod had it not been for the request made by StellarExile, so if you're one of those diehard BOSSR fans then this mod is for you!
    JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe mod is a very popular, if not THE most popular, Jedi Robe mod for Kotor, and as the name would imply it adds the cloaked Jedi Robes from Kotor II into Kotor I. And as with every other popular Kotor mod, it's incompatible with BOSSR... or should I say "was" incompatible with BOSSR.
    Now, if you install JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robes on top of BOSSR and then install this mod afterwards, all of the BOSSR Jedi Robes will be converted into Cloaked Jedi Robes.
    JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robes merges the Kotor I robes with the Kotor II cloaked robes, so in-game the BOSSR robes will appear just as they did before except now they all have the fancy Kotor II cloak.

    Known Bugs:

  22. Ebon Hawk Doors (K1)

    This mod adds interior doors to the Ebon Hawk, ported from the prologue in KotOR II.
    Each door has a trigger set around it which will cause it to open/close automatically as you approach/move away from it.
    Only the main ebo_m12aa are has the doors added in. The Ebon Hawk stunt modules where the Dodonna cutscenes etc take place remain unaffected.
    This mod will not work with saved games in which you have already entered the Ebon Hawk, as module data is stored within saves. You will need to use a save from before you obtain the Ebon Hawk or a start a new game for the changes to apply.
    Installation
    Run the included installer and the mod will install itself.
    Bugs
    No “bugs” as such to speak of, but there can be a little bit of funkiness during cutscenes/scripted NPC actions such as Sasha and Lur Arka Sulas leaving the ship.
    They will get a bit confused and turn on the spot in front of each door they pass whilst the door opens.
    The only way around this would be to go in and change the scripts for each “cutscene”, but I don’t personally feel it’s necessary.

    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic

    Installation:
    1) Select which head variant you'd like to install, the "Movie DS Transition" textures have a movie-style dark side transition with yellow eyes whilst the "Vanilla DS Transition" has the texture turn grey like in the vanilla game.
    2) Once you've picked the head variant you'd like, open the "For Override" folder and copy the files within to your swkotor "Override" folder and select the "Overwrite" option if prompted.

    Description:
    In 2009, the modder SpaceAlex developed the first Kotor NPC Overhaul style mod, the "K1 Enhancement Pack". Whilst it was developed, it was never properly finished and as such it wasn't released to the public until 2014 as a Modder's Resource. As a "Modder's Resource", modders are free to take SpaceAlex's assets from this mod and use them in their own mod.
    SpaceAlex, all the way back in 2009, was already doing things that were only really experimented with in the 2020s - unique heads for multiple characters, upscaled textures, expanded generic appearances, expanded clothing for generic commoners, additional placeables and NPCs, and much, much more.
    One such feature he added in the K1EP mod was unique heads for Gerlon, Ice, and Marl. In 2023, I released a mod called "Galaxy of Faces" which intends to give every named NPC in the game a unique character appearance and since I preferred Effixan's Taris Arena Changes mod for Gerlon, Ice, and Marl, I took SpaceAlex's Gerlon, Ice, and Marl and gave their textures to Dak Vesser, the Hidden Bek Lookout, and Dorak Quinn.
    Strangely though, ever since I added these skins from the K1EP into the GoF mod I've users praise SpaceAlex's Gerlon Two-Fingers appearance as Dak Vesser with one user actually requesting I make the appearance a player head.
    So... here it is, SpaceAlex's Gerlon Two-Fingers head, the Galaxy of Faces' Dak Vesser head, as a player head. It replaces the bald "Mace Windu" style head, hence why it's called "Alt-PMHB03".
    If there is enough support for this mod, I might come back and make portraits for this appearance.

    Incompatible with any PMHB03 player head models or reskins.

    Description:
    If you’re looking at this file, you’re either a longtime fan of the Loganverse series of KotOR machinima, a new viewer that’s just come from watching the new Convergence crossover trailer or movie on YouTube, or you are very, very confused. If it’s the latter, check this link for a trailer for a quick summary. If you’re Loganverse fan already, read on.
    This mod changes the standard voice for the PC character to Logan Starr’s from the Loganverse movies.
    I asked Kevin Smets to record all of the lines that the PC says.  All of the lines are listed below.
    Those in the know may notice that some of these lines are likely to trigger in the game – those with file names ending in 4.  There’s a reason for that!  In order to spice repeated playthroughs, I figured giving you extra lines which you can rename might be something you may be interested in. In the category the replacement lines are, delete the line you’d like to replace using the list below. Then rename the line with the “4” in it (or the other alternate numbered lines) to whatever you deleted. The categories that have the extra lines are:
    ·         Critical hit achieved. ·         Player has just received medical attention. ·         Player has been poisoned. ·         The party is regrouping. [options 4 or 5] ·         The player character has been selected via the menu. [option 9] ·         Stealth mode activated. ·         The weapon used by player character is either broken or inefficient against an enemy in current attack.  
    This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - the game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. If you wish you attempt to perform a work around, that is your own responsibility and not my own.  Feel free to make your suggestions on a work around below if you find a suitable one.

    Installation:
    You'll not be dropping these into your Override folder like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.
    1) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them.  (I personally recommend making a folder on your desktop to put them but you do you!)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 
    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.
    3) When you're done with the beta, you can delete my files from the Streamsounds folder and put the original files back in there.
     
    Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful.
    “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!”
     
    Uninstall:
    Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

    Description:
    If you’ve seen DarthVarkor’s series, perhaps you might have considered making your main character sound like his.  With this mod for KotOR1, now you can. 
    I asked DarthVarkor to record all of the lines that the PC says.  He even threw in a couple of extra takes (“p_plyermw_slct9 (improvised extra) and “p_plyermw_stlh4”) as his character might be more likely to say the lines that way. You could rename those lines to replace the normal lines if you do desire. If you decide to do that, be sure not include the original line you’ll be replacing.  

    As his series’ main character hasn’t had the spoiler-laden reveal in this sound set, he’s not wearing a mask so there’s no filter here.
    This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - the game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute.
