    Original Review on Filefront:

"I think I just heard another weapon fan faint . That's right folks Inyri Forge has released her second model of the week... an MP5 submachine gun! The level of detail is extraordinary, she has emcompassed many, if not all, of the main features this gun is famous for. Again, as with the other gun model released this week, it is for Kotor1. Personally I would like to see a kotor2 version of this weapon and I'm sure many of you would agree. Another thing to mention is the muzzle flash, a small feature of this model, but none the less very cool, as it adds to the overall realism factor. Another superb model from a very talented modder. Keep up the great work.

  2. Multifire and Autofire and Finesse (KotOR)

Implements bonus attacks and penalties for using Blaster Rifles and Heavy Weapons. Rifles allow making one extra attack per round, at a -4 attack penalty. Heavy weapons allow making two extra attacks per round, at a -6 attack penalty.

    Description
In the original Star Wars d20 roleplaying game that KotOR is very loosely based off of, the Blaster Rifle type and Repeating Blaster types had unique functions that allowed them to make multiple attacks per round, at a penalty.
KotOR was originally going to include a similar function for the Heavy Weapons group, but it is unimplemented, leaving Heavy Weapons as generally equivalent or inferior to Blaster Rifles. There are multiple mods which have attempted to restore this, but they are generally buggy, have awkward interactions with force speed, and only seek to restore the game functionality, and do not attempt to expand into the areas covered by the original roleplaying game.
This mod implements the bonus attacks and penalties for using multifire (Blaster Rifles) and autofire (Heavy Weapons). Multifire allows making one extra attack per round, but all attacks made during the round suffer a -4 attack penalty. Autofire allows making two extra attacks per round, but all attacks made during the round suffer a -6 attack penalty. Unlike in the roleplaying game, these are not optional, and cannot be toggled off.
These penalties can be offset however. Inspired by feats in the roleplaying game, and how KotOR adapted other feats, this mod implements a new Multishot feat tree, which has 3 ranks, which increase attack when using Rifles or Heavy Weapons by +2, +1, and +1 respectively. This tree acts as an equivalent to Two-Weapon Fighting and Dueling for these weapons.
Due to hardcoded limitations with how extra attacks can be granted within the game, Rifles and Heavy Weapons can never make more than 3 attack when using Power Blast or Sniper Shot, or making a regular attack. Rapid Shot can grant a maximum of 4 attacks. If Master Speed is used, these limitations will obviously be a problem. As a solution, this mod will automatically reduce the penalties of multifire and autofire depending on how many attacks the player should have. For example, if Knight Speed is used with a Blaster Rifle, both attacks will stack properly, and will all be made at a -4 penalty, while if Master Speed is used with a Heavy Weapon, autofire will be disabled, and 3 attacks will be made without any penalty being suffered. The Multishot feat will continue to increase attack bonus while Speed is active.
The Finesse: Lightsaber and Finesse: Melee Weapons feats from TSL have been added to the game. Finesse: Lightsaber is automatically granted to Jedi Classes, however if a character manages to use a Lightsaber without having this feats, it will no longer be treated as a Finesse weapon for them. Finesse: Melee Weapons is selectable by all human classes, and works as it does in TSL (but the bug that allows it affect Lightsabers is not replicated). Either feat will allow Dexterity modifier to be added to attack rolls for Unarmed attacks as well, as there was previously no way to do this.
The Dueling feats line will also affect Unarmed attacks, as it does in TSL. The AC bonus is implemented as a Shield Bonus (i.e. think a magical shield from Neverwinter Nights). This should stack with all other AC bonuses.
All of these changes are implemented in a heartbeat script, that runs every second on the player and companions, and on NPCs during combat events. You will have to close the inventory and reopen it after changing your equipment, to make sure that all of the effects are properly applied. This is the only way of doing changes like this unfortunately.
    Install/Uninstall

Run the installer.exe file. If you are on Linux or Mac, appropriate HoloPatcher installers can be found on DeadlyStream.

See the docs folder for more information.

    Compatibility
This mod uses a k_ai_master.ncs Heartbeat script to implement its changes, and will likely have compatibility issues with other mods that use similar implementations. They will likely need compatibility patching. Fully compatible with KotOR 1 Community Patch. Fully compatible with Sentinel Sneak Attack with Multiclassing. Fully compatible with Improved AI (v1.2.7 or higher). You must install Improved AI AFTER all of my mods, and let its k_ai_master.ncs file replace mine. Recommended Mods
KotOR 1 Community Patch is strongly recommended. You can find the TSL version here. Special Thanks/Acknowledgements

  3. Muur Talisman

    Description
Designed by Karness Muur, the Talisman is a dark side artifact that is capable of turning other beings into mindless rakghouls.
    A few things to note:
This item is going to spawn somewhere on Korriban and is hard to miss (in case you do miss it, the cheat code is g_i_frarmbnds25). It does not work on other Force sensitive beings (as stated in the lore). Transformed rakghouls receives bonus to their STR, CON, and receives significant penalties to their WIS, CHA, INT. Their tough hide grants resistance to physical and ion attacks. The rest is for you to discover. Welcome to the dark side, my children... your one chance at true greatness lies here.

    LATEST VERSION: 1.0
CONTACT: E-mail to contact@leilukin.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream

    1) DESCRIPTION:
In vanilla KotOR 1, the Mysterious Box uses an ambient music that is not used anywhere else in the game, while the Unknown World uses the Sand People Enclave's ambient music for all the areas on the world outside the Temple of the Ancients.
This mod will make the Mysterious Box's ambient music played in some areas of the Unknown World, specifically the Central Beach, North Beach, Temple Exterior and South Beach.
This change is made because both the Mysterious Box and the Unknown World directly involve the Rakata, and to diversify the ambient music used for various areas of the Unknown World a bit.
However, this mod does not change the ambient music of the Rakatan Settlement, the Elder Settlement and the Temple of the Ancients.
NOTE: In order for this mod to take effect, you must use a save before visiting the Unknown World for the first time.
    Music preview:

Do not delete the folder or the file within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod.

    3) UNINSTALLATION:

  8. N7 Valiant

    Installation Instructions
Copy the following folders into the override folder in your SWKOTOR directory.

    iw_BlstrCrbn_002.tga
    me3-valiant.tga
    me3-valiant.txi
    w_BlstrCrbn_002.mdl
    w_BlstrCrbn_002.mdx

To uninstall, remove the above files from your override folder.

    Description
This is a custom model of the N7 Valiant sniper rifle from Mass Effect 3, which was originally released with the Collector's Edition of the game and then later added to multiplayer for everyone as a possible reward for the game's weekend operations.

This gun took an extensive amount of modeling and, more importantly, texture work to complete. Construction began on June 12th 2012 and completed on February 7th 2013 for an insane build time of almost 7 months. I am easily distracted, which is the only reason it took this long. Probably because I've clocked over 400 hours in ME3 multiplayer...

This mod will replace the 2nd blaster carbine model, which corresponds to the Sith Assault Gun. The choice was made to overwrite an existing gun to maximize compatibility, however with a little elbow grease you can add this as a custom gun that you can add to your inventory with whatever crazy stats you'd like. This gun includes a TXI file to make bits of the gun shine at different angles. This is used minimally to emphasize the gun's battle damage.

  9. Natural PFHA04 Reskin

This is just a simple reskin I made for personal use that I thought turned out kind of nice! I edited the fourth female Asian head option's texture to have darker hair, a white and gold ribbon instead of a dark orange one, darker and more brown eyes, thicker eyebrows, and a more natural lip color. I didn't include reskins of this head's dark side transitions.

  12. New Underwear

[This is an older mod (one of my first), which I am uploading to try out hosting here on Deadly Streams. It is identical to the one available from FileFront.]

This mod will add new underwear skins for Bastila. It includes LS, and DS, as well as slave underwear. It also will change her envmap in the appearance.2da file so that her metal bra will shine like CM_BareMetal.

Her LS underwear is now white lace with slippers, and is still just as concealing as her default tan colored utilitarian bikini. Her DS underwear is now a little more sultry, to better reflect her personality after being converted to the DS. The slave outfit is a little raggedy so it looks like it came from the Taris Undercity.

I have also included new underwear for DS PC, because the existing underwear just weren't dark enough. The male scoundrel PC DS needed to be replaced altogether because it was actually the skin for a Sith Officer that was included (at least with my cd). I deceided that the female PCs just didn't look evil enough in Sith issued longjohns, so I updated them with fishnets, and laced up boots and gloves. The Sith logos are also a little more subtle.

I also added a two piece underwear for the female scoundrels. I had seen that Red Hawk had already created some, but I wanted to make sure that the waistband was included.

Overall, I wanted to keep things tasteful, yet more interesting than what came with the game. I realize that players don't usually run around in their underwear, but these outfits add a little flavor in my opinion.

  13. New_Lightsaber_Blade_Model_K1

    ========================================================
KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC SOURCE FILE
    ========================================================
    New_Lightsaber_Blade_Model_K1_v1
    =================================
    Author: Crazy34
    Contact: PM me on Deadlystream
    For: K1
    Date: 03/02/2021
    =================================
    DESCRIPTION:
The vanilla lightsaber blades in Kotor and TSL look bad in my opinion. So, I tried to improve them by adding a dynamic ambient light to the blade (environmental lightning), which works quite well. Since this is hard-coded in the model I also optimized the blade plane models to have a different UV layout inspired by Sithspecter's work. I also simplified their geometry and fixed the different brightness bug (different brightness of the blade when viewed from the front compared to the back).
Additionally, I included 3D models for the core of the blade and the inner glow of the blade, which can now be used to create black core sabers as seen in SWTOR.  The glow - as well as the models - are fully animated to work as the vanilla blades.
The hilts are updated together with the blades including hilts from Kaidon Jorn's SLM 2.0 mod.
     Summary:
        - All saber hilts are updated with hilts from Kaidon Jorn SLM 2.0 mod (I love it!) All credits for the hilt models, textures and icons go fully to him!
        - Ambient light for lightsabers
        - 3D models for blade core and inner glow
        - Symmetric lightsaber blade planes with a modified version of Sithspecter's crossguard saber UV layout. (Compatible with his unstable textures also included with all credits going to Sithspecter.)
        - Black core sabers are possible
        - Homogeneous brightness of the blade (no more “brighter blades when viewed from the front” happening any more)
        - All sabers are fully upgradeable (added black core and unstable crystals as well as crossguard versions of them)
How to use the new lightsabers:
Get the black core, unstable and crossguard sabers or crystals by cheating them by using the giveitem command or use KSE to include them in your inventory.
The item codes are organized as follows:
Lightsaber and crystal follow the standard naming scheme:
    Black core: 51-60
    Unstable: 21-30
    Crossguard: 101-110
    Crossguard, black core: 111-120
    Crossguard, unstable: 91-100
    For example:
giveitem u_l_colo_51   (Blue, Black core crystal)
giveitem u_l_colo_92   (Red, unstable crossguard crystal)
giveitem g_w_lghtsbr118    (Viridian, crossguard unstable lightsaber)
giveitem g_w_dblsbr025    (Purple, unstable double blade lightsaber)
giveitem g_w_shortsbr53    (Green, black core short lightsaber)
For the TSL colors such as Viridian, Silver, and Bronze; you can get the crystals with the following giveitem codes.
    giveitem u_l_colo_07   (Silver)
    giveitem u_l_colo_09   (Viridian)
    giveitem u_l_colo_10   (Bronze)
!!!! Important: If you put a crossguard crystal in either a short lightsaber or double blade lightsaber the crystal will be transformed into its normal non crossguard version!
I HOPE that in the future some talented texture artist will create better looking blade textures using these new blade models. I plan to upload a Modders Resource explaining the blade system in detail.
    CREDITS:
    Kaidon Jorn:
Lightsaber Hilts models and textures and icons are created by Kaidon Jorn and taken from his SLM 2.0 mod, which you can find here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/551-schematic-lightsaber-mod-slm/
Thank you very much for the permission to use your models and hilts here. They are amazing and I enjoyed working with them.
    Sithspecter:
The new layout for the lightsaber blades plane models are inspired by Sithspecter's animated Crossguard Lightsabers mod for KOTOR which can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1314-crossguard-lightsabers/
Thank you very much for the permission to include your animated unstable blade texture and to modified them to include the new TSL colors.
    ___________________________________________________________
    COMPATIBILITY:
It should pretty much be compatible with any mod that doesn't use the same crystal and lightsaber model slots. However, please notify me in the release thread if any bugs do appear that are not listed below.)
    ___________________________________________________________
    INSTALLATION:
Use the TSLPatcher multiple times. You can choose which lightsabers you want. So, for example say you are only interested in the normal saber update and the related crossguard sabers: Then install the standard saber first and second run the TSLpatcher again and install the crossguard sabers.
The crossguard sabers require to have their related non-crossguard sabers installed first.
The TSLPatcher is set up to only install a certain part of the mod and requires multiple runs to install all sabers.
    It should install everything correctly.

    UNINSTALL:
Navigate to the backup folder and place the contents into the Override folder. Remove all files from the tslpatchdata folder of this mod from your override folder.
    ___________________________________________________________
    BUGS:
The tip of the blade has a spike which comes from a deformation of the lightsaber planes. This is also present in the original model. I was not able to find a fix. (Sorry about that.)
The lightsaber hilts will clip through the blades. (Unfortunately, DarthParametric has said that it is not possible to fix this.)

    ___________________________________________________________
    PERMISSIONS:
You may use this mod as you see fit. Display it in screenshots, make it compatible with your mod. However, do please give credit where it's due, and DO NOT release it with any of your mods without my permission. If you have any ideas for improvements, or if you want to you can mod them yourselves and include them in the mod. Saves me time and I'll give you credit for what I put in.

    =================================
    Author: Crazy34
    Contact: PM me on Deadlystream
    For: K1/TSL
    Date: 03/24/2021
    =================================
    DESCRIPTION:
This modder's resource contains a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to use and modify the new lightsaber blade system introduced in my recent mods.
You can find this instruction in the file: manual.pdf.
The folder resources contains example textures, saber models in the ascii format and example batch file to generate color copies of a given saber.
I HOPE that in the future some talented texture artist will create better looking blade textures using these new blade models.

    INSTALLATION:
    ___________________________________________________________
    BUGS:
The tip of the blade has a spike which comes from a deformation of the lightsaber planes. This is also present in the original model. I was not able to find a fix. (Sorry about that.)
The lightsaber hilts will clip through the blades. (Unfortunately, DarthParametric has said that it is not possible to fix this.)

    PERMISSIONS:
You may use this mod as you see fit. Display it in screenshots, make it compatible with your mod. Use it to update your own mod or use it as a basis to start your own lightsaber mod. However, please give credit where it's due.

Kaidon Jorn: All the thanks for giving me the permission for using the hilts textures and icons. With these included this is a real mod. Thank you so much.
Sithspecter: All the thanks for giving me the permission to include his animated blade textures and to modify them. Also i want to thank you for inspiring me to start modding KOTOR in the first place.

  15. Nicer Lower City Puzzle Rewards

There are two puzzles in the two apartment complexes located in the lower city of Taris. Each complex contains a puzzle the player can figure out to gain some basic rewards. Too basic if you ask me. This mod changes these rewards to be more substantial and worth the hassle, especially on repeat playthroughs where the solution has been memorized.
The trivia puzzle contains a breathing mask only available at the end of the game, and then only in one of two ending paths. The mask is not even that great when compared to equipment available in the midgame. The Twisted Rancor Trio puzzle now contains the rare Yusanis Dueling Shield, perfect for use in the arena. Both also contain the armors that are originally granted for completing the puzzles along with stacks of credits. The credits are of special note if using the "Tougher Merchants" mod by koaandl.
As an added bonus I also removed the 'quest item' tag from "The Twisted Rancor Trio" datapad. Normally the game removes all quest items obtained on Taris after leaving the planet with the exception of this datapad. An oversight by the original developers no doubt. Without the tag you can take it, read it and then be rid of it.
This mod had to be implemented through modification of the module files directly because of file name sharing. This mod also comes as is and not in TSL Patcher form for the benefit of Android users. It would likely be incompatible with K1R so there really is no point for a patcher version.
Installation: Drop both module files into the "modules" folder and overwrite (I recommend making backups) the originals inside if prompted to. For Android users you must create a folder named "modules" in the same directory as your mod override folder on your device if you don't already have said folder.

  16. NinkoKotOR KotOR Launcher

This is the NinkoKotOR KotOR Launcher that I made to support my YouTube Channel!

It is currently a bit rough, and will be better eventually when I get the time to make it look better.

If you don't like it simply delete it, and if you don't even want to download it, then you don't have to.
Thanks to anyone in advance who says that it is good (even for a beginner).

  19. No Dark Side Transitions

I was always bothered by the abhorrent grey your face becomes as soon as you wander down the dark side a little too much, up to the point where I switched to a light side playthrough just because I couldn't stand the grey face anymore.

So I made a quick search and was actually quite surprised that nobody made such a small edit yet, so I made it myself.
What this tiny mod does is to simply remove the dark side's visual effects on your face. If this makes any sense lore-wise - I don't know and honestly don't care. I figured that there might be others sharing my displeasure over having your face all dead and grey, so I thought I'd upload it.

It uses the TSLPatcher to edit the heads, portraits and appearance.2da files, simply ****-ing out (nothing censored here, there are actually 4 aterisks) the dark side texture entries. Shouldn't give any compatibility problems with anything that doesn't specifically alter the dark side face transitions, dark side portraits and dark side underwear.

  20. No Drop

Admiral Karath on the Leviathan and The One on the Unknown World no longer drop their weapons.
    Why?
There are a bunch of other items like this in the game:
    - no unique name
    - no unique item description
    - not upgradable
    - stronger then their standard counterparts
These type of items are used by enemies, but these ones never drop, except these 2. Because of this i think these type of items only ment to make the fights harder, but not to be lootable.
So i think this is just an oversight by the devs.

  23. No New Level Sound

    No New Level Sound
    =================================
    MOD AUTHOR: Olegkuz1997
FOR WHICH GAMES: For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
    Description:
    ----------------
This simple and primitive mod I made because I could not find it anywhere else. Its essence is simple: it removes from the game that nasty and annoying "bell" sound of a new level, which will follow you everywhere until you actually raise your level (when you enter a location, load the game, etc.). Comes in handy for those who intend to save levels on Taris. After all, we have eyes, and we can't help but notice the huge arrow on our character icon. Give your ears a break at last. Useful, eh?
    Installation:
    ----------------
Drop wave file in your game’s Override folder
    To Uninstall:
    ----------------
    Take them out again.
    Known Bugs:
    -----------------
They do not and cannot exist.

  24. No Random Fighter Battles

Couple little re-compiled scripts after modifying the include files to just disable all *random* fighter battles (I got sick of 'em).

This won't do anything about story-related ones that are meant to happen, but you shouldn't get any more random ones when going planet to planet. Some games, I like to just kinda fly around a lot and it gets really old to have to keep dealing with this little mini-game. Especially on today's faster machines.

Anyways, drop 'em in override. If they conflict, you're already using something that modifies those scripts, so best to not break whatever you already had going on (don't copy 'em).

I don't have the source for these anymore, it was a long time ago, in a galax... er, yeah. It was a while back.

I am planning a major update on this though soon. Not sure if I can do everything I wanna do yet, but I'll find out when I get in there and start breaking fixing stuff. ^-^
