  1. TK-664's Korriban

Cue the Korriban monastery in KotOR. The charming place where Malak's foul-mouthed underlings train, aspiring to one day achieve Bandon levels of douchery. Despite all their shortcomings, I did always like the militarized aspect of the Sith they had in place.

This mod alters relevant characters all over the planet, following a sort of dress code, almost. Students wear standard uniforms while away from the academy (though most still do wear them inside as well), with higher ranked Sith having more distinct uniforms themselves. Anyone expecting to break a sweat, or hopefuls seeking to gain prestige like Yourself are dressed in battle-ready robes.
There's some further details - Czerka officers wear the company drab; the bay mechanic switched to more comfortable working clothes; female Twi'lek residents dress modestly now (as supposed? Very likely a mistake, as they had actual clothing equipped but their appearance was the identical albeit static alien one); crazy hermit Jorak Uln has a tattered old uniform; A redeemed Yuthura will now ditch the Sith outfit in favor of simple clothing...

I upgraded all lite Sith appearances to albino, including Hijata (whose dialogue I chose not to restore). Citizen lite models were not upgraded, better turn to another mod for that such as K1 Lite Upgrader by @AFP. Other than this, I took the liberty of minimizing the dreaded "clone effect" since it's especially egregious on Korriban, having up to 5 instances of the same head in the same module and at times a few feet from each other.

Also, it turns out in respect to Korriban that plenty of files are a proper mess. Included are fixes for various inconsistencies, appearance type oversights, misgendered npcs (thus restoring some gender specific dialogue; thanks to @ebmar about the Tariga finding - Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix), wrong soundsets, and blank inventories/feats/spells.

    Install & Compatibility
Run the TSLPatcher. Ignore any warnings about skipping .mod files.
Patching this on top of K1CP might result in odd incidents such as duplicate drops and merged appearances from both mods. In case I needed to say it, other mods overhauling characters on Korriban aren't 100% compatible, most notably JC's Korriban: Back in Black for K1.
This mod only works with the English version of KotOR.

  3. Quanons Manaan Upscaled Textures

This mod will add upscaled textures for the Manaan part of the game. Except the skies, see note below.
All textures are now 4x their original size. Example a 128x128 becomes 512x512, etc...

I've not gone up to the 4096x4096 sizes as I don't see what that would add to this older game.
A few textures do get to this size, example is the Ebon Hawk. Normal maps have also been redone, rerendered not just upscaled.

It's still a 400% improvement on the older files. Have a peek at the screenshots and: Enjoy!
Minor note: No the Sith base is not included, this is a separate texture set within the game,
it gets used on various other locations to. So it'll be a pack on its own.
Sky textures are made by the awesome Kexikus get them here:

Unity Force Form: Maximum Force Points: +10%, Reflex Saves: +2, Force Resistance: +3 (Must be a Consular)

    Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with most others. Nevertheless, it *may* cause incompatibilities
with any mod which alters or makes use of:

    - the script slot for Entry 0 of kor39_utharwynn.dlg
    - the script slot for Entry 19 of dan13_belaya.dlg
    - the script slot for Entry 1 of k_player_dialog.dlg

  7. Darth Sapiens’ T3-M4 HD 2k [Ported to Kotor 1]

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Authors: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 11.05.2022

    Description:
On the 21st of February 2015, Darth Sapiens released his T3-M4 HD 2k reskin mod to Deadlystream.com (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/514-darth-sapiens-presents-t3m4-hd-2k/). In the years following his release, Sith Holocron recolored Sapiens’ texture for the other astromech droids in the game /( https://deadlystream.com/files/file/971-refurbished-astromech-droids/)

What we didn’t know is that Sith Holocron recolored the T3-M4 texture for his own personal uses as he was attempting to get closer to the coloring seen in the original “vanilla” T3-M4 texture. Sapiens’ original mod can only work in K1 if the player renames the original texture (and the associated TXI file) to the K1 name structure.

To quote from Darth Sapiens’ original mod page: "this is a t3m4 skin I have had in the works for a little while now, my usual rules apply, use this however you'd like but give me credit and a PM, all the disclaimers and stuff apply. thanks obsidian and bioware, NO thanks Disney."

With this is mind, I have decided to publish Sith Holocron’s modified version of the T3-M4 HD 2k mod for Kotor 1 in particular. All the credit goes to Darth Sapiens for making the original mod. (Please see Credit section for additional credits.)

    Installation:
For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - Extract all files into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder.

    Uninstallation:
    Take it out again.

    Known Bugs:
    None known at this time.

    Credits:
This mod would not have been possible with Darth_Sapiens' mod so primary credit belongs to him.

Oh . . . and credit to Sith Holocron for the recoloring and responding quickly to my questions about this mod. And the screenshots!

    Additional Mod Suggestions:
If you like the look of Sapiens’ mod, may I recommended to you also download and install Sith Holocron’s Refurbished Astromech Droids mod? (https://deadlystream.com/files/file/971-refurbished-astromech-droids/)
Unlike this mod, no renaming was required for that mod. You’ll have the added benefit of Darth Sapiens’ design being standard through the game.  This of course is optional.

Of course, you may prefer Sapiens’ coloring of T3-M4, especially as some of you have been using that texture in TSL for years. That seems fair to me!

In that case, I recommend you download Sapiens’ mod (linked above) to your desktop and do the following:
    -    First uninstall this mod
    -    Rename P_t3m4_01.DDS to P_t3m3_01.DDS
    -    Rename P_t3m4_01.txi to P_t3m3_01.txi
    -    Rename PO_PT3m4.tga to P_pt3m3_01.tga
    -    Rename PO_PT3m4.txi to P_pt3m3_01.txi
    -    Move the renamed files and the remaining unnamed files in that folder to your Override folder.

    Legal Disclaimer:
All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless by permission of me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either.

Sith Holocron's Policy: I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use.

  11. Qel-Droma Hybrid Robes for JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robes

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Authors: N-DReW25, Effixan and Constantinople33
    1.0.0 Release Date: 08.05.2022

    Installation:
    1) Install JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1 FIRST! (No exceptions!!!): https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1758-jcs-fashion-line-i-cloaked-hybrid-robes-for-k1/
    2) Install Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin SECOND!: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2019-effixians-qel-droma-robes-reskin-for-jcs-cloaked-jedi-robes/
    3) Open the "For Override" folder and copy the files within to your swkotor Override folder and select the "Overwrite" option when it pops up.

    Description:
March 11th 2021 saw the release of the Lore-Friendly Qel Droma Robes by Constantinople33 which was a 2K resolution reskin of the vanilla K1 Jedi Robe texture to make the Qel-Droma Robe item look more like the canonical Robe as
worn by Qel-Droma in the Kotor Comics. I personally thought the skin looked AMAZING with its extensive detail, but at the time I used JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe mod so I took no heed to the mod as both mods were incompatible.
But upon looking into JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robe mod, I realized that it would be possible to "merge" Constantinople33's work with one of JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe skin to make a "Hybrid" robe. At first, I was intending to use
Salk's Qel-Droma Robe texture (which was uploaded by StellarExile) as the Cloaked texture of my Hybrid mod, but after my initial work on the Hybrid Robe the modder Effixan published his own take on a unique Qel-Droma Cloaked Robe.
From what I can tell, Salk had requested Effixan to professionally make his version of Qel-Droma's Cloaked Robe using Salk's work as an inspiration... as such, after getting permission from Constantinople33 and the fact Effixan stated in his
readme that users can use his Qel-Droma Robe with credit, I have merged the Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robe with Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin mod.

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there any please report them on Deadlystream.com
    Incompatibilities:
Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com

    Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
To use Constantinople33's texture in your mod, please ASK HIM for permission as it is his original work!
    Thanks:
Constantinople33: For making the original Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes!
Effixan: For creating his own Qel-Droma Cloaked Robe texture which was used in this mod!
Salk: The one responsible for the design of the Qel-Droma Cloaked Robes!
Bioware: For such an amazing game

  13. K1 NPC Immersive Feats

    K1 NPC Immersive Feats
    by Sdub
    Version:
    1.0
    Description:
In TSL certain items can be limited to certain characters, In K1 however that is not possible... until now. I sought to create a workaround to limit certain items to certain characters. Especially for when modders create items.
The solution I came up with was creating unique feats for the NPC's that do not have one.
Four NPC's already have a unique feat with.
    Bastila - Battle Meditation
    Juhani - Force Camouflage
    T3M4 - Blaster Integration
    Zaalbar - Wookiee Toughness
    I created one for each:
    Carth - Decorated Pilot
    Mission - Streetwise
    Canderous - Regenerative Healing Implants
    Jolee - Hermit
    HK-47 - Assassin Droid
One important thing to note. These feats are for immersion only. They do not have any active effects attached to them unless the active effect already exists for the characters, like Canderous and his regen.

This mod is intended to be used as a resource. I'm planning on releasing a few mods that will require this as a base. Feel free to use it as well, all I ask is that proper credit is given.
A huge thanks to @Effix for helping me get the mod properly setup with the TSL patcher.
Please let me know if you have any issues.
    Installation:
Run TSLPatcher.exe and locate your swkotor folder
    Uninstallation:
Delete UTC Files for characters, icon images, and replace the dialog.tlk with the one in backup from patcher installation
    Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with all mods
    K1R Compatible:
    Yes
    Tools Used:
    TSL Patcher
    ChangeEdit
    TLKEdit
    KOTOR Tool
    Holocron Toolset

    INFO
    ================
This mod adds three new armbands into the game:
The insanity device. Using this item will cause all NPCs in the module you are in to attack each other and the player. The antagonist device. Using this item will cause all the NPCs in the module you are in to attack the player exclusively. The pacify device. Using this item will cause all the NPCs in the module to become the best of friends. To get this item you can either use the giveitem cheat code (crt_insdev, crt_antdev, crt_pacdev) or you can buy them from Larrim, that annoying merchant in the Taris apartment who tries to sell you energy shields.

TITLE: Effixian's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin for JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes
    AUTHOR: Effix(ian)
CONTACT: PM me on the forums or find me on Steam

    -----------------------
    DESCRIPTION
    -----------------------
This is an add-on reskin mod for JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1.
It gives the Qel-Droma Robes a unique texture based on Cay Qel-Droma.
This mod includes textures with and without gloves, which ones are used depends on which install option you picked when installing JC's mod.
I toned down Cay's comic book orange/golden tunic to a more sandy colour.
A matching HD icon is included.

This mod will not update a Qel-Droma Robes item that you've already acquired, you need a fresh one. You can either do that through cheats (giveitem g_a_jedirobe06) or by using a save from before you loot the item.
    Requested by Salk.

Jedi Knight Revan Stylized Portrait Created by Tinman888
    by Sdub & Tinman888
    Version:
    1.0
    Description:
This is an addon for the pack created by @DylanRPG
It replaces the Neutral Portrait with a Jedi Knight Revan in the Starforge robe.
I recommend installing my pack second after installing this one https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1929-stylized-portraits-by-tinman888/ so it enables the PC to have a sort of dark side transition
Easy install, open the folders of the portraits you'd like to use and Just drop them into the override folder.
To uninstall remove the implemented files.
Big thanks to the KOTOR Discord & Deadlystream
Tinman888 for the wonderful art, you can see more of his art here! https://brandon_chen.artstation.com/ and on Instagram at @bchen.art

  19. Restored Dantooine Textures Pack [K1]

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 09.04.2022

    Installation:
Inside the "For Override" folder are 3 folders: "Bark", "Grass" and "Skybox". This mod is modular, meaning you don't have to install all 3 texture options if you don't want to.

The Bark and Skybox folders will contain the tree and skybox textures, copy the files within Bark and/or Skybox and paste them into your Override folder. If you have an option to overwrite,
then that means you have another mod which already modifies the Bark and/or Skybox texture and you'll need to choose whether or not to install the Bark and/or Skybox textures.

Inside the Grass folder you will find the folders "Grass 1", "Grass 2", "Grass 3", "Grass 4" and "Grass 5". Each grass folder is a different mod, you should only install ONE grass mod!

The screenshots on the mod page will show you WHAT each grass mod does, do keep in mind that some grass mods might do minimal changes and will require TWO texture changes whereas other grass mods might change the ENTIRE aesthetic of K1 Dantooine and will change up to FIVE textures.

Just like the Bark/Skybox textures, simply select the grass mod you want and copy the files directly into your Override folder.

    Description:
In K1, Dantooine has a few unusued textures for grass, trees and skybox. This mod will simply replace the vanilla textures with the unused textures, you have a few textures to choose from.
    1) Tree: The Trees of Dantooine will sport a more realistic tree texture.
    2) Skybox: This skybox appears to have been an incomplete draft by Bioware, do keep in mind that the "roof" of the Skybox does not exist in the game files and thus is missing from the mod.
    3) Grasses: Up to 5 different grass textures exist in the game files meaning you can only install 1 grass mod (Please consult the Mod's Screenshots to see what each Grass mod does).

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is report it on Deadlystream.com.

    Incompatibilities:
Will be incompatible with any mods which modifies the following files:
    "LDA_bark02.tga"       "LDA_bark02.tpc"
    "LDA_bark04.tga"       "LDA_bark04.tpc"
    "LDA_rock04.tga"       "LDA_rock04.tpc"
    "LDA_graspatch01.tga"  "LDA_graspatch01.tpc"
    "LDA_grass2.tga"       "LDA_grass2.tpc"
    "LDA_grass07.tga"      "LDA_grass07.tpc"
    "LDA_rock06.tga"       "LDA_rock06.tpc"
    "LDA_sky001.tga"       "LDA_sky001.tpc"
    "LDA_sky002.tga"       "LDA_sky002.tpc"
    "LDA_sky003.tga"       "LDA_sky003.tpc"
    "LDA_sky004.tga"       "LDA_sky004.tpc"

This mod uses the TGA texture format, meaning any TGA mods which use the same files will be overwritten by this mod. However, if you install TGA and TPC files of the same name together,
it will probably crash your game so be sure to make sure none of these files are present in your Override folder.

Do keep in mind, let's say if you install the tree and grass textures but NOT the skybox textures then you'll be able to use another skybox mod (And vice versa).

Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com

  20. Recruit T3-M4 Early

    Recruit T3-M4 Early Mod v1.3
    ======================================

    By brents742
    ============

    Version Notes
    =============
    v1.0 - 4/7/2021
         - Initial release

    v1.1 - 4/9/2021
         - Added instructions for a third party member to exit out the main gate in the Taris Undercity
as opposed to the base game only giving instructions to two party members as that's all you're
supposed to have at that point in the game. This solves an issue where the cutscene to save
Hendar would seemingly go on forever.

    v1.2 - 12/30/2021
         - Removed k_ptar_openbase from install files to maintain compatibility with the K1 Community Patch. This script was initially modified for this mod to restrict the player from breaking the original order of events by entering the Sith Military Base early. However, upon realizing the game is fully voiced for Canderous to mention your recruitment of T3-M4 before speaking to Canderous, as well as for getting the Launch Codes early, there was no real reason to restrict entry to the base. Enter whenever you desire!

    v1.3 - 3/13/2022
         - Updated compatibility for K1 Community Patch by adding k_ptar_a05ab_en.ncs to the install files. The K1 Community Patch modifies the Vulkar Base door behind the Rancor and the On Enter script for the area to prevent reentry to the Vulkar Base "post-swoop race (and the Bek base if Gadon is dead)" (CP ChangeLog). By doing so, it did not allow players to break into the Sith Military Base at any point they pleased as this mod allows. The door to the Vulkar base behind the Rancor would simply not open. This update corrects that by placing a vanilla copy of the On enter script into your installation's override folder, bypassing the Community Patch's On Enter script that locks the door after a certain point in the Taris story.

    Requirements
    ============
IMPORTANT: If you plan to use the K1 Restoration or K1 Community Patch, these mods should be installed BEFORE installation of this mod.
This mod can be installed to the base game without any additional mods.
    Installation
    ============
Copy k_ptar_opengate, tar02_janice021.dlg and k_ptar_a05ab_en.ncs to your override folder.
You should not run across any override warnings. If you do, let me know.
    Description
    ===========
-This mod allows for T3-M4 to be recruited whenever you would like (and have the credits to do so). No longer is T3 tied to the Taris endgame.
You can recruit him before Canderous gives you the quest to do so by speaking to Janice Nall as usual.
There will be a new dialogue option that allows you to purchase T3 from her early.
-If you have recruited T3 before speaking to Canderous about the military base, Canderous will mention that your T3 unit
will be able to get you in. This uses existing voice work found within the game that would seem to indicate it was the
developer's intention at some point to let you recruit T3 earlier than possible in the launch version.
-The Sith Military Base will open before speaking to Canderous if you're up for a challenge!
Break into the Military base whenever you please with T3 and witness some hidden Canderous dialog for doing so.
-If you wish to play the game as normal, that option remains. Canderous will still mention buying T3-M4 from Janice Nall.

    Getting Started
    ===============
This mod only makes sense when starting a new playthrough or one that has not yet encountered Canderous in the Cantina.
Simply play as normal and go to Janice Nall's droid shop and speak to her as normal, asking about the T3-M4 unit
and persuading her to sell you the droid.
    Compatibility
    =============
IMPORTANT - This mod relies upon the files k_ptar_opengate, tar02_janice021.dlg and k_ptar_a05ab_en.ncs (when the Community Patch is installed) to work.
Any mod that plays with these files will likely break or impair this one. PM me if you find ones that do so I can make this mod compatible.
What Specifically does this mod do?
    ===================================
-tar02_janice021.dlg was modified to give a new purchase dialog option when asking Janice Nall about T3-M4. This option
will cycle into existing dialog as if you told Janice Canderous sent you. From here, everything goes as it normall does.

-k_ptar_opengate.ncs was modified to give MoveTo instructions to a third party member while trying to save Hendar in the Taris Undercity.
The original script only gave instructions to exit the gate to two party members as that is all you are intended to have at this stage in the game.

-k_ptar_a05ab_en.ncs is in place to override changes made within the K1 Community Patch that prevented access to the Vulkar Base after certain conditions were met in the story line - ("post-swoop race (and the Bek base if Gadon is dead))" (CP ChangeLog). By overriding CP's copy of the script, that mod's change that prevented access is undone, allowing for entry into the Vulkar Base if the player did the Sith Military Base early.

  23. Return to Tach

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    2.0.0 Release Date: 1.04.2022

    Installation:
Make sure you backup your "Streamsounds" folder before installing this mod!
Copy the files from the "For Streamsounds" to the "Streamsounds" folder within the "swkotor" folder! For easier installation, be sure to hit "Ctrl", "Shift" and "A" on your keyboard to select ALL of the files within "For Streamsounds".

    Uninstallation:
Depends on what you've chosen to install.
Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite.

    Description:
When I first released this mod, it was April 2nd 2022. But for my American fans, it was April 1st 2022.

I had uploaded this mod late at night on my April 1st so that those living in the American eastern time zone would see my mod early in the morning of their April 1st. Apparently, April Fools jokes only "work" somehow if it happened before 12PM in the afternoon and since I live in a totally different time zone I'm probably now updating the mod around 10PM for those living in the American eastern time zone... so that probably makes me the fool! (If you ignore the fact I uploaded this mod about an hour before April 2nd in my timezone)

In the original description of the mod, I had a "What does this mod do" section with an empty spoiler thingy, so without further ado...

What does this mod ACTUALLY DO???!!!:
This mod replaces EVERY SINGLE Party Member soundset audio and replaces them with the Tach's "Battle 1" soundset... AKA, that god awful Tach screech you hear in the Shadowlands!!!!

EVERY. SINGLE. AUDIO FILE. Is a Tach sound... from attack grunts, death sounds, skill related sounds, ALL. OF. THEM! Including the Player character!

In addition, the dead sounds of EVERY. OTHER. SOUNDSET. Is ALSO a Tach grunt... so whenever you kill an NPC, you're going to hear a Tach grunt!

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is report it on Deadlystream.com.

  24. Robe Description Fixes

    Description:
The Jedi robes in KOTOR display a +8 max dexterity bonus. In reality, this does not actually apply. After so long I figured it was time for it to go and finally be corrected. Note that if you use TK-664's K1 Armor Nitpicks, you do not need this mod as the fix is already included.
    Compatibility
Will be compatible with any mod as long as it does not edit the dexbonus label in baseitems.2da. As far as I know, no mods except the one mentioned do so.

  25. Shaleena Original Head Restoration

    Shaleena Original Head Restoration
    By StellarExile

This mod restores a unique head which was originally intended for Shaleena but was cut. Luckily, it still existed in the game files and is still able to be utilized. K1R and NPC Overhaul restore Shaleena's head, but I decided to create a mod that only restores the head and alters nothing else.
This mod also includes a fix made by Ashton Scorpius which adjusts the model so that her upper teeth are no longer hidden during conversations.
Incompatibilities: The mod will be incompatible with anything that alters Shaleena's original head model and appearance in her utc file. Otherwise, it shouldn't be incompatible with anything else.
Permissions: Please do not distribute the mod to any other sites without asking my permission and Ashton Scorpius for the model fix. If you intend to use this mod in yours, please contact me for permission as well. If you intend to use Ashton's models, you'll need to contact him as well.
    Special Thanks:
@Stoffe and @Fair Strides for the TSLpatcher. Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool. @Ashton Scorpius for allowing me to use the model from his Shaleena Mouth Adjustment mod. @Sdubfor helping me with the utc file.
