  2. That doesn't tell me anything useful. List what other mods you have installed. As the description says, it's not compatible with K1R, so if you have that installed then that is the issue.

  4. hello, i get a bug in Temple, can't talk with Rakatan Holograms
  5. I checked against a vanilla install, and this mod makes scoundrels lose one feat compared to what they'd otherwise have at level 1. Vanilla, if you count every level 1 feat including the pre-selected ones, it's 9 total feats to start (light armor, melee, blaster, rifle, crit strike, snipe shot, scoundrel's luck, sneak attack, free feat). With this mod, for some reason, I was only given 6 additional feats to play around with (besides scoundrel's luck and sneak attack), not 7.
  6. I personally would go with something Revan related. Kotor 2 established him/her as a cold, ruthless master tactician who commited acts like bombing Telos, one of the many Jedi bases that the order created in case of a necessary retreat, just to send them a message, one who used precise strikes of assassination and sabotage against the Republic to weaken it without crippling it's machinery and who prefered capturing and turning Jedi rather than killing them unless it was deemed necessary. So it stands to reason that for them, Grandmaster Nomi Sunrider would be a very valuable asset in the war against the true Sith-Empire yet the very power that makes her so valuable as a potential ally would naturally also make her a potential threat to Revan themselves. So I could indeed imagine a scenario were Revan either did something to her that would cripple her abilities for a certain periode of time without actively killing her OR that they tried to capture, torture and turn her like many other Jedi, but that the attempt failed and Nomi managed to get away, but that the event had an unintended side-effect of her connection to the force being damaged someway somehow, forcing her to eitherretreat and try to restore her abilities, while also trying to teach Bastila how to use battle meditation after finding out that she possesses the capabilities to learning and mastering that ability as well. How exactly Revan would accomplish such a thing, I dunno. In case of a genuin assassination attempt however, I could maybe imagine him trying to use a poison made from the blood of a force resistent creature such as the Terentatek (or something in that direction at least). As for Kantarra in @SAO1138's Sleheyron Mod, there is a throw away line were Kantarra mentions that she and Yuthura got forcibly separated by Omeesh by having Kantarra sold to Aratech and if asked, she says that the reason for it was that, I quote, "slave owners are not fond of pairings between slaves that cannot result in offspring. It is bad business for them". Here is a vid from the S:SM playthrough through which I encountered the mod. The aforementioned line comes at 21:25
I've been looking forever for a mod that finally acknowledges the fact that Juhani is, indeed, a romance option for a female lightsided Revan. And when I heared about there being a mod that allows you to select who Revan ended up with in the first game, I was really excited to try this mod out, thinking it would be exactly what I was looking for at last. Boy, do I regret this now because this mod is a massiv slap in the face for me. Yes, it does indeed make sure that Juhani is finally acknowledged as an option for a female Revan, instead of me being stuck with the games assumption that my female Revan ended up with Carth. What it ALSO does, is take various romance mods for Kotor 1, Mods that remove gender locks for Carth and Bastila and /or enable poly-romances with them to be precise, and turn their "additions" into selectable options too. Which I would be fine with, if these were coming in the form of selectable components that people can choose to either install or skip. But sadly, they are part of the main install, with the only optional component being a cameo Juhani appearance. Thus leaving me stuck with a playthrough were K2 acts as if Revan charging up both Carths and Bastilas loading ramps simutaneously was an actual genuin option in an unmodded vanilla Kotor 1 game. And I hate it. I hate it because all I wanted was an option to select wether or not a female Revan went for either Carth or Juhani, instead of the game always assuming it to be Carth. Not this overkill cocktail of a course correction

A much needed immersion fix, that has become a main stay in any of my playthroughs.

  9. Hey there. You know those are actually some really good points. I admit I haven’t thought enough about Nomi’s Battle Meditation in the story here… I guess I always just assumed Bastila’s was more powerful. I forgot that Bastila was mentioned as the only one with the art at the time. Chaser mentioned he has his own expansion mod, which I’m helping a bit with. Between him and I, we can probably come up with an explanation about Nomi’s absence to be mentioned in his mod (and possibly mine in the future). Regarding Yuthura and Kantarra: Well, I suppose I didn’t exactly say that they were *lovers*, just that they were close. But you do make a good point that there should be some way to ask Yuthura if she met Kantarra. Maybe I can repurpose some other voice lines of Yuthura to get her to say something somewhat relevant. For what it’s worth, though; Vima does comment to Yuthura that she’s been to Sleheyron if you bring her with you to the Sith Academy. Thanks for the good points. These are issues worth resolving. I have a patch planned soon (accidentally deleted it last weekend, now I need to remake it), and I’ll see if I can address at least a little of the Yuthura issue before then.
  10. Yeah that would be the context of me wondering "just why" lol. Like, why take time to do all that when it's already done and you could be doing more useful stuff for the community ? Like participating in expansion projects or doing things that actually bring something new ? Anyway, people do what they want but I believe it's a waste of time.
  11. @Kätzchen Regarding Nomi's issue, that is indeed quite interesting, not only for @SAO1138's mod but also for my expansion, which will feature Nomi herself. What do you think would be the best in that case ? you mentioned several examples but I'd be interested in your take on it. For Yuthura though, I don't remember that Aratech worker girl being sexually related in any way to Yuthura ? Is she not just a friend of hers ? Anyway, still interesting, maybe the twilek girl could be afraid of Yuthura after she becomes a Sith so she believes it's better if they dont meet again.
  12. Intentional. You have installed the install that adds player head commoners to the game which Kebla Yurt is affected by. Do not worry, if you play as Kebla's head her head will be switched for another head Definitely not the Diversity Pack, the most up to date version of the mod gives him blue Jedi Knight Robes. I would say: 1080p Patches K1 Community Patch K1CP Unofficial Tweak Patch RC-K1CP NPC Diversity Pack The other NPC related mods I have uploaded.
  13. Saul007 recently uploaded a mod called Vanilla Characters HD despite RedRob41's 4x Upscale+ Character Textures & Model Fixes doing the exact same thing. darthbdaman uploaded a mod called Mandalorian Armor Fixes despite my own Mandalorian Assault Armor Restoration mod doing the exact same thing. offthegridmorty uploaded a mod called Differentiated Duelists despite Effix's Effixian's Taris Arena Changes mod doing the exact same thing. People remake the exact same mod all the time, as long as there is some sort of difference between the two mods the existence of multiple similar mods merely provides the player with options of which mod they would like to play. This feeds into my point, more and more mods in the late 2020s will make use of generative AI to make new textures. If you are personally against AI, the old pre-2020 mods that are made entirely by human authors would be your go to whereas someone who only causes about visual quality may not be deterred by the use of AI.
  14. Hello there! @SAO1138 I didn't mention it the last time I commented on this mod but there were a few other drawbacks that this mod had that you should probably consider fixing in a future patch (if you haven't already that is):

  16. Thank you for this mod , now they can finally aim properly! 🔥

  18. no it is only working for white mira but i will be making a retexture soon for black and Asian chars
  19. I noticed that Kebla Yurt now has a player head with a recent update. Is that a glitch or intentional?
  20. I do not think it was deliberate on your part. I was merely pointing out that the AI itself appears to have been trained on it (it more likely scraped it off of Google). Ultimately, the fault is in the designers of the AI model for being so careless in how it gets its data.
  21. thats sick
  22. Huh, new Mira clothing mod? (There was one for Bastilla, one for Mission Vao and one for Players (but had issues with black skinned female player characters since it's basically used Mira's default body with player's head)) Is it working well with female player char of black skin color?
  23. Big preservation win for the KotOR modding community today. Several long-dormant classic tools are officially no longer abandonware and will now be maintained under the OpenKotOR umbrella. These utilities have been part of the foundation of KotOR modding for years, and having active stewardship again means bug fixes, modernization, long-term preservation, and future quality-of-life improvements are finally back on the table. Huge thanks to @Fair Strides for helping make this possible and for entrusting the community with the source and continued maintenance. 24. View File Vanilla Characters HD Vanilla Characters HD is an HD character texture overhaul for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords. This mod was made specifically for use with The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod and the KOTOR 2 Community Patch. It is intended to upscale the vanilla character textures while preserving compatibility with the fixes, restored content, and additions from those mods. It covers character-related textures for: Humans Aliens Droids Beasts Clothing Body textures All textures were upscaled using Topaz Gigapixel AI at 4x. 26. View File Sith Soldier Helmet (giveitem only) This file adds a custom model based off of the sithtrooper disguise on taris. It's basically a helmet. I made this free use, anyone can use this if they see fit. No credits required or necessary as it's just a modified game asset. The armor suit however is from another mod. I just added shoulderplates to it. install instructions; place all files in override acquire instructions: type "giveitem i_sithhelmet27" after enabling cheats and pressing the "~" key.
