TSL comes out. Not liked by some because the previous installment followed Star Wars story beats to a tee. This one is more unexpected and deconstructs some of the lore of the Force. Over the years the hate dies down and it's now considered good. TLJ comes out. Not liked by some because the previous installment followed Star Wars story beats to a tee. This one is more unexpected and deconstructs some of the lore of the Force. (We are now here).

That's too bad. Just goes to show that "It's a mod" is not a legal defense.

@Squall Lionhart VP's theory is that EA outsourced this to LucasFilm as a way to avoid more negative backlash from the star wars community, which makes ample sense.

I like The Force Unleashed

Looking at all the production troubles, Solo was way better than it had any right to be.

I'm not a native English speaker either, it's clearly a (admittedly overused) figure of speech. A simple search would have shown you that.

Who was Mira's father?

avellone said he wouldn't answer that question unless he gets to make kotor 3 (source)

Thanks @zbyl2!
If I had to guess, it'd be Canderous (I would not really like this), as far as I know he is the only one who kreia repeatedly describes as a beast/predator.

I still think "Meetra Surik" is such a dumb name

I don't dislike it, but I grew up with a red cat named Mitra and in dutch (my native language) that's pronounced just like Meetra.
Surik is a (very small) village in Iran.

Apparently someone we all love had a cameo in TFA!

I hope 2016 will be a golden age for KotOR Modding

Upcoming Revan figure in the Black series is looking pretty good.

I do not like The Force Unleashed 2

Anyone got a good way on how to make portraits?

Finished Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal yesterday, what a journey it was.

Played the EE version. And yes, as far as I know, most if not all mods are compatible with it. I'm going to take a break from infinity engine games though, played through Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate I and II one after the other. I'll certainly revisit them though! And I still have to play the Icewind Dale series sometimes.

I always feel a little sad when I finish TSL

Does anyone here have some documentation saved on how UV mapping works on KotOR models?
-
-
Nothing special like DP says, but a quick run-down is this:
Each vertex has a UV position (like 0.99 0.99) which is an XY point on the texture.
Each vertex in a face has one of those UV coordinates, and the space that face uses is calculated between those three XY coordinates.
Lastly, each of those coordinates is a percentage between 0.0 and 1.0, which is why the texture doesn't always benefit from being upscaled.

Just saw TFA a second time. It differs more from IV than I initially thought (please don't start fighting again guys
)

Just finished Planescape: Torment for the first time ever! What a great game...

Anyone have any documentation on creating new area models?
-
Well I for one can't wait for all the new 36-hour critical analyses by all the Youtube "skeptics" with an anthropomorphised animal or object in their logo. Gotta earn that dough!

Right now playing through Jedi: Fallen Order. I think it's suprisingly fun! The combat is a bit crummy and the enemies track too much, but I'm enjoying my time.

I made a Steam Guide on installing mods in cooperation with the Steam Workshop. Read it here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=488641307

I've been skinning a new head from scratch and it shows me yet again that you learn by doing.
