  1. TSL Hak Pad - Main File

    SUMMARY:
    ===========

    We've all heard it before, and have felt the burden. "Where's the Cheat Console?!? I can't see it!"

    Apparently with the introduction to TSL, we also got introduced to the now 'invisible' cheat codes console which makes it very difficult to accurately get what you want. This mod is a fix for that (of sorts).

    Hak Pad DESCRIPTION:
    =======================

    What this mod does is allows you to access the game's items via "Virtual Storefronts". So now, not only do you get the item, but you can read the stats, information and such as well as look at them before "creating" the item for yourself. ALL items are included in the variety of Storefronts, and all items are FREE. That's right, FREE, afterall this mod IS a cheating console 'substitute'.

    Also, the Hak Pad can award Lightside Points, Darkside Points as well as act as a credit dispenser. PLUS, you can access both a Medical Lab Bench as well as a Workbench.

    Because I wanted this to be easily accessible, the Hak Pad can be used from your game's main screen in your usable items bar to the lower left (where the armbands and such are displayed). The item itself is a Datapad, so you don't have to worry about having to equip an item in order to access it's functions.

    Please bear in mind this is by no means a replacement for tools such as tk102's SaveGame Editor. That program has MUCH MORE capabilities than this mod. Mine is mainly to be used for in-game cheats without having to exit the game to get them.

    http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php

    One note, this mod will only allow you access to normal in-game items. Not custom items, modded items or anything of that nature. This was one main reason why I decided to use "Storefronts". If you have a little bit of modding knowledge, you can easily "insert" modded items into the Virtual Storefront's inventory. The game will then recognize the new items once you start your game. So in a manner, this mod is 'customizable' to your tastes. However, if your modded items are simply adjusted in-game .uti's (with the same name) those modded items WILL be available within the Storefronts. The inventory calls upon the game's list of item's .uti names.

    Upon using the Hak Pad, you WILL notice some items that have no descriptions, or some may have no icons. This is because I've included EVERYTHING from TSL's .uti references. There are visual stunt models, non-upgradeable versions of items and a host of other goodies. I especially urge you to check out the Guns Storefront as it has some unique hand stunts that are amusing to say the least

    ***************************************
    USE THE ITEMS IN THE MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
    ***************************************

    Just like with cheat code console items, some items may have unknown and unforseeable side effects... this mod is to be used as a "tool" of sorts. All it is, is a visual reference substitute to the cheat console. Of course, at least with this mod, there's no .ini hacks to be made. Even if you don't use it to gain the items, it will at least provide you with some stuff so you can experiment or look over if you are curious. I know that due to the random loot generator, some items are rarely, if ever, seen by everyone... Now you have the chance without having to dig out the cheat codes

    Feedback and suggestions are most welcome! I'm quite sure that this mod is 'incomplete' and a Work In Progress. There ARE some features I haven't been able to incorporate yet...(such as Ability and Skills adjustments) but future Booster Packs will add on to it's functionality. Any input to what you'd like to see would be welcome

    and lastly, ENJOY!

  3. The GenoHaradan

    This mod restores the GenoHaradan to The Sith Lords. Do not use with TSLCRM, it's not compatible. Frankly, I wouldn't chance it with many content mods, but feel free to try. Enjoy!

  4. Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Mod - Loadscreens

    Mod Name: "Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Loadscreens"
    ==============================================
    Author: L0ki194
    =================

    Tired of seeing the old skybox in the loadscreens in Nar Shaddaa, but you're using the Realistic Skybox mod? This mod replaces the original Loadscreens with ones that show the "Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Mod" by Sharen Thrawn.
    These were made a LOOOOOONG time ago. But, I decided to release these in case no-one saw the original request thread (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=211704).
    ========
    Credits:
    - Sharen Thrawn, the author of the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod.
    ===========
    Bugs: None, though probably incompatable with something of the same nature.

    Installation:

    Dump the TGA files in your override.

    NOTE: There is an alternate loadscreen for 302NAR (Refugee Area) that shows more of the Skybox.

  5. Darth Nihilus Robes

    Original Review on Filefront:

    Sith Lords are so cool, I love the way the game creators and movie directors make them. They are just so evil and awesome looking. A lot of them like Darth Sion, Darth Revan, and even Darth Vader (for the time that they created him in) had awesome looking clothing and were just SO immensely evil. That is the on thing the Jedi never had though, I mean they did look cool but not as cool as some of the Sith Lords. There also were other types of Sith Lords that just looked plain freaky; actually I should say there was one Sith Lord that took that part because really there was only one and that one Sith Lord was Darth Nihilus. He was just so freaky lookin that he made you think he could beat you with one swipe of his saber, but we all know that is not true. Anyway though speaking of Darth Nihilus lets get into the review.

    To put it simple this mod that Shem made will let you get Darth Nihiluss robes in game without having to type a long boring cheat or go through rigorous trials to get it. The robe will show up in the game twice, one on Korriban and once on Dxun. They both will be using a custom icon for these types of robes as an icon and both will have a Datapad which I dont think will have anything to do with the mod. Needless to say though I am sure this will definitely be a preferred way to get these robes in game.

    I really have to say Shem this is a very simple but very awesome mod. So really good job. Now to all of you people out there just dying to get you hands on this one of a kind mod... enjoy.

    Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

  6. Extended Kreia Party Scene (Atris VO)

    ====Extended Kreia Party Scene 1.1 by Hassat Hunter====

    This modification adds in the missing lines for Mira and Atton during the Kreia vs. Party scene. Although they are voiced by Atris. This mod is only intended for those who are interested in said dialogue, or want a larger scene, despite the odd off voice. If you are not in either of these groups, stick to TSLRCM itself!
    This mod should work with all language versions of TSLRCM.
    NOTE: TSLRCM 1.8 is required for this mod to work!

    Tweaks;
    * Added a check to the Mira/Hanharr convo wheter or not Hanharr lives (gives different lines during the confrontation).
    * Added various Mira/Atton lines to the Party vs. Kreia scene.

    Patch 1.1;
    * 1.8.3 update

    ==Install Instructions==
    * Drop the files from "Override" in the override folder. Source folder is interesting only for other modders, ignore it if you're not.
    * You have to load a mod from before Hanharr/Mira convo if you want the conversation to properly reflect the choice made here. Otherwise it automatically assumes Hanharr survived.
    * Note you need to HAVE TSLRCM 1.8 installed for this modification to run properly.

    ==Uninstall==
    * Remove the 3 files (902mira.dlg, 907krepart.dlg and a_kreia_part.ncs) from your override folder. This will restore the scene to how it is in vanilla TSLRCM.

    ==Known Issues==
    None known. If you find any contact me at the Deadlystream forums!

  7. Extended Enclave Patch

    Extended Enclave Patch
    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 26.02.2021
    1.0.2 Release Date: 28.05.2021
    INSTALLATION:
    (It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod.)
    As this is an add-on for TSLRCM, TSLRCM 1.8.6 is REQUIRED. It will not work otherwise, so have that installed first.
    As this is a patch for Extended Enclave, Extended Enclave 2.5.1 is REQUIRED. It will not work otherwise. So have that after TSLRCM and before Extended Enclave Patch.
    M4-78EP appears to be fully compatible with Extended Enclave, so no compatibility patch for M4-78EP and Extended Enclave Patch exists at this time.
    The M4-78EP compatibility patch for M4-78EP checks to see if Master Vash is present amongst the Jedi Masters, this is impossible to achieve in M4-78EP so therefore this mod won't break with M4-78EP.
    But REGARDLESS, please leave feedback if you play with M4-78EP of both ANY BUGS you may encounter or if your game WORKED with M4-78.

    To install, extract the Extended Enclave Patch folder to anywhere you like, as long as it is not the SWKotOR2 folder. When you run the installer, it will present you with two options, the option "Main Installation" is REQUIRED base mod and "CARTH FIX" is OPTIONAL, select "Main Installation" and run it.
    "CARTH FIX" can be installed after "Main Installation", this option fixes an inconsistency with Carth's armor as seen in TSLRCM. DO NOT USE THIS OPTION if you use DarthParametric's "TOR Ports: KOTOR Comic Republic Uniforms Admiralty Patch"
    Uninstallation:
    Depends on what you've chosen to install
    Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite.
    Description:
    This is a patch for the Extended Enclave mod which extends version the Rebuilt Enclave sequence with new restored dialogue, scenes and other missing content.
    The following scenes have been modified:
    1. "Tobin's Message"
    Previously in TSLRCM and Extended Enclave, Tobin's scene with Nihilus was totally unzippable. Presumably as this scene harboured important information regarding the games plot, specifically how Nihilus came to discover Telos and why he chose to attack it. This patch makes it so that the player can skip through most of Tobin's dialogues and get back into the action.
    2. "Admiration"
    Scenes in the Jedi Enclave where the dialogue shows an animated fly-by camera have now been made unskippable for the duration of the camera, this was done to allow players to admire the scene for a brief moment rather than mindlessly skip it like you can in vanilla
    3. "Disciple's Choice."
    The "Disciple's Choice" restored content has been moved from the Ebon Hawk to the Enclave. Once inside the Enclave, Kreia telepathically goads Disciple into telling the Republic what's happening but in doing so, he'd endanger the Exile.
    3. "Disciple's Distress Call"
    Knowing that Kreia is a Sith and that the Exile and Jedi were in danger, the Disciple instead contacts Atris for help who in turn sends her Handmaidens to Dantooine.
    4. "Alternate Lines."
    A handful of 'alternate lines' exist within the Enclave files including:
    2nd takes like:
    Extended Enclave: "Including Master Zhar. Master Vandar." -> Patch: "Including Master Zhar... Master Vandar..."
    From alternate lines like:
    Extended Enclave: "And at last, you saw." -> Patch: "And at last, you saw the truth."
    To totally expanded lines like:
    Extended Enclave: "Yeah... I know." -> Patch: "Yeah... and she knows it. She's known it all along. She's used your own ability to form connections against you."
    5. "Reaching Out."
    The Exile, believed to be deceased, will now be taken back to the Ebon Hawk where they will lie unconscious in the medical bay as the party believe them to be dead. The subsequent mind reading scene shall have additional lines.
    6. "A bridge?"
    A plot hole has been covered up, kinda. Once Kreia outs herself as a Sith to the party, she takes the Ebon Hawk to Telos with Handmaiden/s and once she departs the crew, with their leader seemingly dead, return to Dantooine just in-time for the Exile to recover.
    7. "I have to do this, or I will die inside, just as I died at Malachor V."
    Bao-Dur's mind reading scene will now include the famous TSLRP style animated camera.
    In my opinion, this patch is a very small mod at the current time. In the future, I shall further update the mod with new content which I hope will touch upon the scenes including the Jedi Masters, Kreia, Visas, Sion and more!

  8. Ultimate Sound Mod

    TSL version only!

    Original Review on Filefront:

    The ear is impressively good at distinguishing the most minute of differences between sounds, however without a context or direct comparison it can do an amazingly poor job at just that. This is why judging a sound mod just from listening to the sounds won't give you a clear picture of how good (or bad) the mod really is. From listening to the sound files from this mod out of game, they didn't sound all that impressive. However from experience I know these findings are generally inaccurate. Testing this mod in-game proved just that.

    Just from the saber ignite sounds I knew this was going to be a very popular sound mod. Try it out and you'll see what I mean. Shem has taken some of the sound effects from the recent (as well as older) films and put them into KotOR and KotOR2. This not only adds a wider variety of sound variation, since the styles between the two trilogies are actually quite distinct, but it also simply improves the sounds, making them all the more impressive. Of course not only the saber ignition sounds have been changed. All the saber sounds, basically, have been enhanced, as well as several of the blaster sounds, using familiar sounds such as those from Han Solo's DL-44 pistol. Several Force sounds have also been changed, and luckily changing the Force saber throw sound to something that actually sounds like a saber has been a key change!

    This is definitely a mod to look into if you're either disappointed with KotOR or KotOR2's original sounds, or if you just enjoy hearing new sound variations added to the game. I'd certainly recommend it.

    Note: If I didn't make it clear in the review, this mod is compatible with both KotOR1 and KotOR2, so you can use it with either. Simply make sure to read the read-me before installing.

  9. Azgath N'Dul's Tomb Patch

    Kemar Elim will now appear on Onderon after you arrive back there the second time, enabling
    the completion of the sidequest. He's out of the way of the soldiers, so you may have to
    search a little to find him. Also, be warned that you can _only_ start the quest the first time you
    go to Onderon. If you try to do so the second time, he won't speak to you.

    I've also cleaned things up with the holocron in the tomb a bit, so that it's less...messy. Hopefully,
    this will eliminate any errors.

    This mod will add a new selectable PC head - that of former Alice in Chains frontman, Layne Staley. A talented singer no doubt, but definitely a tortured soul. As per tradition, I try to release a mod on my birthday, and this is the 2-year anniversary since my first Kotor mod. Since I've been listening to a lot of Alice in Chains lately, and Layne Staley was found dead on my 12th birthday, I figured it only appropriate.

  12. Implant Feat Restoration

    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords
    Author: N-DReW25
    Release Date: 19.03.2017
    Release Date 1.1: 7.09.2017

    Installation:
    Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic

    Uninstallation:
    Remove or Delete all the files with the "e_imp1_01.uti" all the way to "e_imp4_10.uti" (There are at least 30 of those so they aren't listed here)

    When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Implant Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the
    "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Implant Feat Restoration files

    If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support

    Description:
    Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Implant Feat
    is unavailable. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as the Implants in game require a certain level of constitution in order to use them. This is all well and good until you realize you will have to abandon other stats completely for constitution in
    order to get good implants. This mod changes it so that you now require a certain implant feat to wear certain implants. There are three tiers of implants so 3 to 5 level ups should be enough to get max implants whereas before you'd need at least 6 to 11 to
    get max implants

    Currently, only Hanhar and Mira have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen (Since you cannot play as a scout you cannot get implants for free)

    Also, ALL implants will require this new feat instead of the constitution. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no implant since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot use it's implant. This is mostly a good thing as
    it will make the enemy slightly easier

    Known Bugs:
    this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.

    Incompatibilities:
    The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme
    Incompatible with Sireyn's Kotor 2 Implant Rebalance

    Permissions:
    Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission

    Thanks:
    Bioware for such an amazing game, Stoffee for TSLPatcher, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod.

  13. K1 and TSL Difficulty Options

    ======================================================
    A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION
    ======================================================

    AUTHOR: Darth Shan
    NAME: K1 and TSL Difficulty Options
    CREDITS:

    FILENAME: K1_and_TSL_Difficulty_options.rar
    FILE SIZE: 4 KB
    DATE RELEASED: 3/30/2007, revised 31. May 2016

    DESCRIPTION:
    If you try to rebalance your modded Kotor games, this really comes in handy. Boss too strong? Crazy rebalance? Change your options in game, even while fighting!

    Tired of messing with your config.ini? Some think, correctly, that both KotORs are fairly easy games. Especially when it comes to replaying them, this may become annoying. But you are ill advised to reset difficulty setting manually in your configuration files. Why? Because 3 (highest in K1) and 4 (highest in TSL) set difficulty to default, i.e. more easy than in ingame difficulty.

    This mini-mod brings a solution: Set your difficulty level in-game! All you need is a simple 2da.file.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

    Drop the corresponding files manually in the folders where they belong.

    Recommended: "Normal". If you are an elite gamer OR like to use heavily modded Override folders for your Kotor games, then you have the option to use the "hardcore" settings which tweak all levels one step, i.e. easy becomes normal, normal difficult and so on, see below for details.

    Regarding compatibility: the files employ a simple trick, they use dialogue.tlk-lines from the standard tlk.file, to be precise: "Choke" and "Horror" from the Force Powers entries. So compatibility is universal.

    COMMENTS
    Here are the stats:

    Kotor, normal difficultyopt.2da

    [cfg.ini] descr. multiplier
    0 Easy 1.00
    1 Normal 1.75 (I tweaked this one, default was 1.5)
    2 Difficult 2.75
    3 Horror 3.50

    Kotor, hardcore 2da

    [cfg.ini] descr. multiplier
    0 Easy 1.50
    1 Normal 2.50
    2 Difficult 3.50
    3 Horror 4.50
    (The last should be near to insane.)

    TSL, normal 2da

    [cfg.ini] descr. multiplier
    0 Easy 0.50
    1 Normal 1.00
    2 Difficult 1.50
    3 Choke 2.00
    4 Horror 2.50

    TSL, hardcore 2da

    [cfg.ini] descr. multiplier
    0 Easy 1.00
    1 Normal 1.50
    2 Difficult 2.00
    3 Choke 2.50
    4 Horror 3.00
    (TSL is more b*tchy than its predecessor, in some areas 4 is still ridiculous, in others - for instance 804DRO or 152HAR you are going to have a hard time.)

    If you still find the game too easy, get Beancounter's Hardcore mod. In conjunction with this mod you should have every opportunity to become one with the Force.

    A final remark, if you are a fervent modder, I added one additional line respectively (Choke / Insanity), but you can do nothing with it, setting the difficulty level in the cfg.ini to 4, 5 or higher will mar the AI (yes, that is still possible with Kotor).

    My thanks go to Fred Tetra, master tool creator.

    BUGS: None, I hope.

    PERMISSIONS: You may use this mod in every way you wish. Don't forget to curse me when you die on Peragus.

  15. Bao-Dur's Electromesh Armor

    Bao-Dur's ElectroMesh Armor 2.1
    -------------------------------------------------------

    Author: Kaidon Jorn

    Compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.4

    Many moons ago this mod was part of HotOR 1.6, and I thought I had lost the .zip folder for it, but it's now found and I can bring it YOU, the player, in this new updated for TSLRCM 1.8.4 version.
    This mod adds a small quest to have Bao-Dur build his own non-force restrictive armor once he reaches 10th level. The armor itself is a reskin of normal Electromesh Armor I made back in 2012.
    The quest will have you find some shielding components and a mesh suit on Nar Shadaa so that he may turn them into a powered ElectroMesh suit. It is important that you speak to him when he becomes 10th level and pick up the quest so that you don't find the parts beforehand, which is definately a possibilty. Originally the quest started only after he had become a Jedi Guardian, but I changed it to start earlier so you can get better armor for him that will remain viable throughout your play through.

    Run the .exe to install

    ***IMPORTANT***
    Version 2.1 fixes Bao-Dur's dialog for normal (non-SLM) installation.
    I advise to install SLM first before this mod, then simply open the folder called "SLM Compatibilty" and copy and paste the new dialog file into Override and allow to overwrite.
    (You may want to backup the one in Override first)

  16. My Dantooine Statue

    ========================================================
    A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION
    My Dantooine Statue
    ========================================================

    Author: Hassat Hunter
    PM: Contact me at the Deadly Stream Forums
    Name: My Dantooine Statue

    Filename: My Dantooine Statue 1.0.rar
    Date Released: 29 January 2012

    1. Description:
    ----------
    Remember? You sacrificed 4000 credits after the battle of Khoonda to get your own personal statue? But you never got one?
    Well... This mod is for you. Because after 4 masters are found, and the statue option has been picked during conversation with Terena, a statue in YOUR honor (Statue - Heroic Jedi according to the gamefiles) will stand infront of Khoonda!

    2. Install:
    ----------
    (It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod. In order to be compatible with TSLRCM, TSLRCM must be installed first.)
    NOTE: TSLRCM 1.8 IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MOD!

    Extract the "My Dantooine Statue" mod, taking care to insure that both the "TSLPatcher.exe" file and "tslpatchdata" folder are extracted to the same folder (these files can be extracted to any folder on your hard drive EXCEPT those within the SWKotOR2 folder hierarchy). Also note that simply copying the files within "tslpatchdata" to your "Override" folder will not properly install the mod.

    Note: a new folder named "backup" will be created during insanitation within the folder the installer was run from. If you plan on uninstalling this mod this folder and the files therein must not be deleted as they are used during the uninstall process.

    3. Uninstall:
    ----------
    The files listed below may have been modified during the installation of this mod:
    Within "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2"
    dialog.tlk

    Within "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Overide"
    globalcat.2da

    The following files have been added during installation of this mod:
    k_enter_dan.ncs
    k_statuebark.ncs
    plc_statuedan.utp
    plc_statuepopup.utp
    terena.dlg

    Backups of any file that was altered were made during insanitation and placed in a folder called "backup" within the folder the installer was run from.
    1) To uninstall the mod, open your "Override" folder, located here "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Overide" by default, and delete ONLY the files listed above under the "Override" heading. It may be easiest to find these files by selecting “View” from the toolbar then “Arrange icons by” then “Modified”. This will sort the files by when they were last modified. The files installed by this mod should be grouped together; however, double check that anything you delete is indeed listed above.
    2) Next open the "backup" folder that was created during installation and replace the files listed above under each heading with the files contained within. If a file listed above is missing from the "backup" folder, don't worry, it was not present before the install and it does not have to be replaced.

    4. Time spend on creating this mod...
    ----------
    Too damn much for such an easy simplistic change... :/
    It's my mod off-day. Atleast some good came from it, I hope you agree.

    5. Bugs:
    ----------
    There are no known issues that will develop as a result of installing this mod.
    The author is not responsible for any thoughts of megalomania.

    6. Distribution Notes:
    ----------
    This mod may not be modified or distributed without the explicit permission of the author. This is just so I know what is being done with it. If you have questions contact me at deadlystream.com/forum/

    7. Thanks:
    ----------
    My thanks go out to:
    The TSLRCM team... whom whichout I wouldn't become interested in modding TSL, and thus wasting so much on my time on frivilous mods...

  17. A Darker Peragus REDUX

    Using the techniques pioneered by the great modder Canderis, I have created my own version of the Darker Peragus formula.

    However, when working with the darker areas, I noticed that no matter what I did, all of the Plasteel Canisters and Footlockers were much too bright.

    And so, with the help of my modding compatriots, I have darkened all of the placeable items in the Peragus, Peragus Spacewalk, and Harbinger portions to match the darker lightmaps.

    To Install:
    Choose from either the full REDUX (WIth all of my customized lightmaps), or from the compatibility option (For those using Canderis' A Darker Peragus mod)

    (Note: There are two versions available to download. Use the A_Darker_Peragus_REDUX_TSLRCM if you have TSLRCM installed, and A_Darker_Peragus_REDUX_Vanilla if you don't)

    To Uninstall:
    1) Replace the .mod files in your Modules folder with the .mod files found in the Backup folder
    created by the TSLPatcher,
    2) Replace the placeables.2DA in your Override with the placeables.2DA from the Backup folder, and
    3) Copy all of the TGA MDX and TXI files from the TSLPatchdata folder to your Override
    (let them overwrite files if they’re already there), and then delete them all from it

    Permissions: Please inform me if you would like to use this mod or its assets in your own projects.

    Credits: Canderis for his permission in making a compatibility for his mod and for teaching me how to
    edit lightmaps to darken levels with his own mod A Darker Peragus;

    Adobe for their Photoshop; Obsidian for making KOTOR2 in the first place;
    Bioware for starting the KOTOR craze in the first place;
    and George Lucas for starting all of the Star Wars insanity.

  18. Expanded Galaxy Demo

    Keep in mind this is still a demo / early access for a project that is insanely oversized and may never be fully completed, so probably best for most users to avoid this project / mod for the time being until I have cleared things up a bit more. But feel free to check it out if you wish.

    The goal of the Expanded Galaxy Project is to provide as much additional content for both games as possible.
    NOTE : The current included readme is outdated, so the installation instructions are included below.

    Installation steps for the project.
    #0 Install KotOR2.
    #1 Install Official 1.0b Patch ( Steam users don't need this )
    https://deadlystream.com/files/file/812-official-10b-patch/
    #2 Install TSLRCM 2022
    https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod
    #3 Install M478EP 1.5

    #4 Install Coruscant Jedi Temple
    https://deadlystream.com/files/file/585-coruscant-jedi-temple-by-deathdisco/
    #5 Install Expanded Galaxy 1.1.8  ( Download included on this page )
    This is all required for the project to work properly.

    Also make sure to download and install the latest patches, I will upload everything in a single package eventually.

  19. JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K2

    I became so very tired of the low resolution textures for female Republic soldiers. So I made a new model for them, using the male version as a template.

    While I was at it, I noticed errors on the male model, so I've corrected those as well.

    This K2 version also fixes the TSF officers, since they use the same model.

  20. SEM - Super Enhanced Mod

    Main Mod's Original Review on Filefront:

    [spoiler[Let me start out by saying this mod is not for the faint of heart. If you're not an experienced player, and by experienced I mean you're insanely good at the game, you won't want to get this mod. Why? You'll die a miserable death, likely early on in the game.

    Now that I've completely scared everyone off, let's get to the nitty gritty bits of this mod. It's got a lot of changes, and veteran players should really enjoy them. I can't go over all of them, because there are too many plus Shem wants to leave you with some surprises (they're good surprises, by the way), so here's an overview:

    Lightsabers: The basic premise of a lightsaber is it is a beam of energy that curves back on itself to create a blade. Now how could a blade of pure energy be less powerful than a slab of metal? Shem wondered the same thing. Sabers have been enhanced to do more realistic amounts of damage, plus they will add a +10 modifier to your blaster deflect skill. Base damages for both games are around 40-50. OMG UNBALANCED! No, not at all. As I go along you'll see why it's not unbalanced.

    Blasters: How often does a stormtrooper take six blaster bolts before going down? Never! They're down on one shot usually, aren't they? Blaster fire is now beefed up to be deadly. This is a good thing and a bad thing. Bad thing - if you get shot, you're in trouble. Good thing - the same is true vice versa, plus that +10 modifier to blaster deflect will make you a lean mean blaster blocking machine, and if you deflect those bolts back at your enemies they're still beefed up and will make for a quick and easy kill.

    Armor: The idea that wearing a heavy set of armor will block you from using the Force is rediculous. The Force extends beyond such silly physical limitations, and Shem agreed with this as well. As a result, armor will not longer restrict you from using the Force, regardless of what it is. Tired of being 'Forced' to wear those Jedi robes when you'd rather be off galavanting across the dune sea in Calo Nord's armor? No problem. Armor also doesn't penalize your dexterity any more, although I'm not quite sure that's more realistic than the way it originally was.

    This mod makes several changes to pieces of Shem's older mods, so if you are prompted to overwrite any parts of any of Shem's other mods you may feel free to do so without hesitation. If you're a hardcore player I'd definitely recommend giving this mod a try.

    Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

    ~Inyri

    Also you will need the Ultimate Sound Mod for this to work properly. Make sure that is installed first before you install this mod and let the baseitems.2da file from this mod overwrite the one from the Ultimate Sound Mod. If you're not interested in that mod, you will still need to download it and get the cb_ls_powerup.wav, cb_ls_powerup1.wav, cb_ls_powerup2.wav, cb_ls_powerdown.wav, cb_ls_powerdown1.wav, and cb_ls_powerdown2.wav files. That way the double-bladed and short lightsabers make a on/off sound.

    Addon's Original Review on Filefront:

    Malkior's Tweak pack (no Filefront review):

    An addon approved by Shem that tweaks the grenades, mines and most of the non-humanoid creatures in the game to be up to par with the rest of Shem's work...

    THE GREY JEDI MOD

    "FOLLOW YOUR OWN RULES"

    Description:
    This is a mod for TSL using TSLRCM

    This mod will allow you to play as grey Jedi, so you needn't to be lightside or darkside at all.   A new option: Freedom Don't worry about the LS or DS points of your actions, play free, you are the exile.   Do you actually believe on the Jedi code? Are you a worthless Sith?   If you think the only thing is the force and you aren't agree with the Jedi council nor the evil sith lords, your path is the Grey Jedi path.
    This mod fits perfect with the storyline. You are an exiled Jedi.You spent some years alone, away from the Jedi rules.You hate the Sith enemies, but you aren't agree with the people that exiled you, so you follow your own code.
    Kreia, who is helping you find the force is quite "grey" indeed.     This mod is lore Friendly and suitable for new and first playthroughs     Features:
    This mod removes the alignment restrictions needed to advance the story. You don't have to worry about making stupid and nonsense actions to get DS or LS points.
    -The penalties for using force powers on the neutral side are reduced, so walking near the 50% LS/DS is as good as pure dark or light. 70% or 20% are the worst levels so is better to stay near the 50%    -Getting prestige class:     The request is to reach level 16.     Kreia will talk about Jedi or Sith classes based on your slight alignment.    You are free to return later if you want to earn some LS or DS points to change the options.
    -Visas Marr Vision:  Now you need 70% LS or DS,but the most important thing: Visas Marr will appear with 30 DS/LS  points in any way .You needn't to be that 20% LS or DS, you need to earn 30 points either light or dark (instead of 50 needed by default).   -Access The Korriban Tomb :   You need to reach level 18 to access the tomb. That's all
        Specific Rules :   How works the Power cost table:

    LIGHTSIDE VALUES:

    Alignement        Powercost penalty   Lightside                  Darkside Powers   10                              1.75     9                               1.5  8                               1.1 ------------                  -------------- Grey jedi Zone  7                              0.8  6                              0.7  5                              1  6                              0.7  7                              0.6 ------------                 ----------------Grey jedi Zone  8                              0.8  9                              0.7 10                             0.5   Lightside                Lightside Powers

    Fair enough IMO.
    If you play pure LS, you have the same advantages and penalties as the original TSL values. The changes are made on the "Grey jedi Zone". There is a penalty for being just in the middle, so you have to choose a side.

    The Darkside Table is the same, but inverted.

    XXOOXX

    Notes:
    This mod has been lost in my hard drives for years. The work was lost after a hard drive fail, but I recently was able to restore all data from the damaged hard drive.
    The mod is proven to work since I have it installed by default in my kotor 2 copy, the problem was to identify the mod files in a very heavy loaded override folder, Now I finally found my  source working files.

  23. Blasters Reloaded

    =__- Blasters Reloaded: -_=
    Ranged Weapon Feats Overhaul for KotOR 2

    By:Malkior

    Description:

    Many of my mods span back several years,
    but this one is a bit more recent. Essentially at its core,
    this is a realism mod focused on changing all of the blaster
    feats to be tied to each individual item rather than being learnable on the Level Up screen.
    This in turn means that you will need to purchase a blaster with the Rapid Fire,
    Power Blast, or Sniper Shot feat in order to use those abilities.

    -Every single weapon UTI that I could find has been altered to add these feats when it is equipped, so each blaster should carry its own cost and benefit. Blaster Pistols have fewer feats but are generally more exotic, while Blaster Rifles offer more feats as well as advanced and master versions of them. A few unique blasters, like Luxa's Disruptor have their own share of surprises. Each weapon also follows a formula it "logically" would, such as heavy blasters carrying the Rapid Fire feat, and shotguns having the Power Blast. This should change up the general way to play, so experimenting on which weapon to choose may be necessary.

    I designed this mod after noticing how in the later game,
    all blasters except for very specific ones become pointless as the
    Master versions of the blaster feats make up for any insufficiencies they have.
    From a realism perspective, this made no sense, as you can't "learn"
    how to fire any gun you find on full-auto; (or any other ranged feat spells)
    and from a practical perspective, it removed the need to use anything other than
    the gun you prefer for the entire playthrough, thus making purchasing weapons
    a futile affair.

    This mod is aimed to remedy that situation.

    Installation:

    I have designed this mod to use the TSLPatcher for the
    benefit of mod compatibility.
    To install, hit the "Install Mod" button to proceed with the TSLPatcher
    installation, ensuring there aren't any errors in the changelog.

    Uninstallation:

    To uninstall, copy-paste the .uti files and feat.2da in your Override folder
    with the files from the "Backup" folder that the TSLPatcher created
    (Should be inside the same folder as the installer .exe).

    Compatibility:

    Please let me know if there are any mods that conflict with mine,
    and I will work to make them compatible.

    Permissions:

    Please inform me and credit me if you would like to add my mod to your own.

    This would not have been possible without the many people on DeadlyStream who have helped immeasurably including:
    LiliArch for coming up with the mod idea in the IRC chat;
    Rece of RealRece Youtube fame for his work in drafting up the weapon feats for all 60 weapons;
    Fair Strides for walking me through the intricacies of setting up a TSLPatcher Install and helping with this very Readme;
    The rest of DS for their constant support and feedback;
    Fred Tetra for his Kotortool with which the UTI edits would have been much harder;
    Stoffe for the TSLPatcher;
    Bioware for making Kotor 1; Obsidian for making Kotor 2;
    Lucasarts for allowing that to happen; and George Lucas for creating the first Star Wars which started it all...

  24. TSLRCM Dialog Overhaul

    Description of "TSLRCM Dialog Overhaul":
    This modification strives to correct the most noticeable errors and inconsistencies found in the dialog.tlk file of
    The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM).
    The majority of the alterations are based on modern corpora, mainly affecting written speech as well as menu screens,
    without changing their original meanings.
    Some lines underwent slightly advanced changes in order to be in line with their corresponding voice-over references
    while some others were changed to further add context to specific situations.
    As this modification was originally meant for personal use only, you will also find some of my attempts at revamping
    the punctuation of multiple dialog lines to create a more coherent reading experience in accordance to the sound references.
    That includes the removal of hesitations and interruptions that are not reflected in speech.
    In its current state, this modification doesn't fix description errors regarding item effects and character building.
    For full details on the changes, please refer to the included "changes.txt" file.
    Due to the sheer size of the dialogue script, there is a strong possibility that errors have been overlooked in the editing process.
    Feel free to report cases of potential overcorrection as well.
    Feedback is always dearly appreciated (on Deadly Stream via private message or comment on the mod's support page).

    Installation:
    TSLRCM 1.8.5 is required.
    Replace the dialog.tlk file located in your game's main directory with the one from the "overhaul" folder in order to apply the modification.
    Certain changes may only occur upon starting a new game.
    In case you may want to revert the changes, just copy the included original TSLRCM dialog.tlk into the game directory.

  25. TOR Saber Mod (TSM)

    Authors: Kaidon Jorn & (Darth) Deadman
    This Version: April 2012
    ===================================
    This saber mod now consists of 18 hilts - each in 10 colors, all of which are buildable on the workbench. The first set of 6 hilt styles are available to build as you are building your first saber with the vanilla saber quest. Then, once you've leveled up with an Advanced Class, there will be 12 more hilt style options. Some of these hilt models are leftovers from the HotOR Lightsaber mod, which fell upon hard times and was unable and unwilling to continue - but alas! A new lightsaber mod has risen from it's ashes, and most of the hilts were modeled based on TOR sabers.
    The vanilla game dialogs about Bao-Dur helping you build your saber have been removed, since you build it yourself on the workbench using any default game crystal. As well, the vanilla game's Lightsaber Quest journal entries have been modified to go with this saber quest better.
    Once you have built a new lightsaber, the crystal will change into the specific crystal for that lightsaber, so once you commit to a new lightsaber style, it's crystal is bound to that saber hilt. Also, the training sabers now do 1-10 damage, still with their +3/+4 energy field damages, to try and make them more worthwhile to use. Two new models have been included for the purple and yellow training sabers.
    You must run the TSL Patcher to fully install (aside from the lightsabers, copying files to Override folder will *not* work).
    Compatible with TSLRCM 1.7/1.8.
    Compatible with everything that dosen't use the same lightsaber model numbers. *This excludes HotOR and USM from being compatible.
    Compatible with Default Replacement MegaPack 4.1 or better.
    Compatible with Workbench Crystal Attunement Mod.
    Compatible with RandomSabers 6 Pack.
    Credits: -Darth_Deadman, for finishing off the training sabers and making them powered items that turn on and off like a lightsaber. Thanks Deadman!
    Thanks to Markus Ramikin, Varsity Puppet, Hassat Hunter for the Workbench Crystal Attunement mod.
    Bugs: None that I know of, if you get one then report it and I will see what I can do.
