  2. Battle-Hardened Mandalorians

    Long ago I worked on a mod called Canderous’s Glory. The mod was never completed, but these skins were. They were always some of my favorite skins I had done, and I hope you all like them. This mod was originally an exclusive on my own website, but due to me migrating to a new host and redesigning my website it may be unavailable for a short while there.

  3. TOR Ports: Pureblood Sith Female Player Head for TSL

    This mod adds a Pureblood Sith head and underwear model from The Old Republic MMO, ported to TSL as a selectable player head for female characters.
    A few notes:
    A unique underwear model is included, but because of the different way TOR and KOTOR mate heads to bodies, I had to add a neck stump to the torso to elevate the head to the right height. That makes for a pretty nasty transition at the seam line, but it should mostly only be visible in dialogue. Try not to have too many conversations while naked I guess. By default, the underwear is a sports bra and panties. For those wanting something a little more chaste, there’s an alternative modesty patch that provides a pair of shorts/hot pants instead. After running this installer, simply copy and paste the TPCs from the OPTIONAL folder to your Override folder, overwriting when prompted. Odyssey’s lack of proper specularity, much less the advanced (by comparison) graphical features of TOR, means you should expect that the textures will look pretty flat in KOTOR compared to how the originals look in TOR. KOTOR has a maximum bone limit per mesh of 17. This creates a problem for TOR meshes, as adding the eyelids to the face bone array pushes that to 18. I had to drop 2 bones to make it work. I chose the two nose corner bones, as they seemed the least important. I don't know what effect this may have on various facial animations, but probably nothing significant for mute player characters. Differences between how TOR and KOTOR handle animations mean that some of the bone weights are probably too strong, so expect some bad deformation occasionally. Especially when the game uses stunt animations in certain cutscenes. If you notice anything particularly egregious, post a comment with some notes of the specifics and a screenshot/video and I'll see if it can be mitigated. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. The portraits are the versions I made for K1, so they probably don't mesh well with TSL. I'm lazy like that. Installation:
    If you are using TSLRCM or the hybrid TSLRCM + M4-78 from the Steam Workshop, make sure to choose its Workshop folder as the installation location, not the main game folder. Or preferably don't use the Workshop at all. A custom dancer outfit was added in v1.1. A patch has been provided for users of v1.0 to add this to their existing game. Only use it if you have v1.0. Acknowledgements:

  4. Visas Marr's Robe fix

    This small modification allows Visas Marr to wear the Jedi's robes, that is, the Jedi's robes will now be fully displayed on it.
    I really did not like that the original Jedi robes (for example, Jedi robes and Jedi Knight robes) do not show up on Visas.  It also made the original Visas clothes unhealthy.  Now, this model can be seen only if you wear ordinary clothes.  I strongly recommend using it with TSL Improved Party Outfits - this will also give the original robe Visas more uniqueness.

  5. Train The Disciple

    Train the Disciple
                                                                                                                                                                       By jc2

    Atton can be trained to use the force forms and lightsaber techniques that the PC learns on his/her journey, however, the Disciple cannot. At a loss for why this would not be, jc2 has undertaken an effort to rebalance this issue. Keeping in mind the sister mod, Train the Handmaiden, which set out in 2017, nearly 2 years prior to address the same issue for the Handmaiden, jc2 has come full circle. Therefore, it is the entire effort of this mod to allow the PC to train the Disciple in all 7 of the lightsaber forms, four force forms, and three force techniques.
    Lightsaber techniques: Ataru Form -Juyo Form - Shii Cho Form  - Soresu Form  - Makashi Form  - Niman Form  - Shien Form
    Force forms: Force Potency Form- Force Mastery Form -Force Focus Form - Force Affinity                                                                                                                                                                                                       Force techniques: Breath Control - Beast Trick -- Force Sight
    The PC must have learned these techniques in order to train the Disciple on them.

    Incompatibilities: None so far.
    Compatible with Party Swap & any mod that edits disciple.dlg, because Train the Disciple does not edit disciple.dlg in any way.

    Files used:  jc2_coms.uti, deadmerc_cont.utp (Dantooine corpses within Enclave next to Statue), jc2_disciple.dlg, spells.2da & globalcat.2da (correctly patched with tslpatcher).

    Installation: Run Tslpatcher
    See Readme for further details and information, before installing.

  7. Bao-Dur's Liberator's/Oppressor's Armor 2021

    Bao-Dur's Liberator's\Oppressor's Armor 2021
    -------------------------------------------------------
    Authors: Kaidon Jorn/Effix
    Compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.5 - 1.8.6
    This mod adds a small quest to have Bao-Dur build his own non-force restrictive armor once he reaches 10th level .
    It's important to talk to him as soon as he hits 10th level so you can get the quest parts afterward on Nar Shaddaa, which you will find in both Tien's shop and in the Serroco thugs area.
    The quest will have you find some military fatigues and armor plating so that he may build the new Liberator or Oppressor's Armor depending on your alignment.
    The armor itself is medium class 7 with a dexterity bonus of +3, and was lovingly reskinned by none other than Effix of DeadlyStream and Steam Workshop notoriety. All credit for the reskinned Jamoah Hogra armor goes to him.
    Run the .exe to install
    ***IMPORTANT***
    I strongly advise to install TSLRCM (and SLM) first before this mod.

  8. Halo Energy Sword

    The blades of this weapon are generated from charged plasma held together by magnetism. The technology is similar to that underlying the lightsaber, though this weapon is not nearly so powerful.

    Originally developed for the Republic for close-quarters combat during the Mandalorian Wars, it was ultimately rejected by the Republic military, on grounds of production cost, and its ineffectiveness against most energy shields.

    Since then, a small number of prototypes such as this one have quietly turned up for sale in markets across the galaxy.

    This mod adds my version of the energy sword from Halo to the game. It's called the
    "Aratech Energy Sword", and does 1d6 Energy damage, 2 electrical damage, and has
    +3 attack bonus. It can be found on Nar Shaddaa, in a case at the back of one of the
    rooms in the flophouse.

  10. Enhanced Enemies - Peragus

    After having finished this game a dozen times, I realized that some parts of it were ridiculously easy, so I decided to create a major mod that will modify almost every enemy character template file to make the enemies you face much stronger and therefore harder to beat. If you intent to install this mod, I strongly suggest that you also download and install my “Ultimate Party” mod too. These 2 are meant to work perfectly together.
    This is the first part of my project, which aims to enhance the enemies you face at the Peragus Mining Facility.

  11. JC's Fashion Line B: Commoner Clothing for K2

    This mod does several things:
    It makes all texture variations of the commoner clothing available to the  player, with all the items - 11 total outfits - placed in various locations  throughout the game. I've placed them where those outfits seemed to be the most popular, so if you see an NPC wearing an outfit you haven't seen before, the item can probably be found nearby. It changes which clothing item the player receives on Telos, based on class as seen in the character creation menu. Only the first clothing item the player receives will be based on their class; players of all classes will still be able to find the other variants elsewhere in the game. It adds a male variant of the Czerka uniform to match the existing female texture. For whatever reason there wasn't a male variant, so I've cobbled together one from the female variant and the other male textures. It shuffles around some of the textures so the male and female variants match each other more closely, primarily based on color. I've made sure to patch any affected characters to revert their outfits to their original appearances. It adds unique icons and names to all the items, so you can tell them apart. (They were all just called "Clothing" before.) I've named them based on who in the game wears them; for example, two of the outfits popular on Dantooine I've named "Settler Clothing" and "Fringer Clothing". The icons display both the male and female variants of each item, due to the differing appearances. It adds custom icons for Atton's Ribbed Jacket and Mira's Ballistic Mesh Jacket. They originally used the same icon as commoner variant #1, and since I changed that to look like the commoner clothing I saw it fit to give the unique items their own icons as well. It touches up several of the male textures to fix some discoloration and bad seams. I have also included an option to give the commoner clothing some upgrade capabilities. If you choose this option, you'll be able to upgrade the clothing items with some underlays, the same upgrades available to the miner uniform.

  12. Fumble! Grenades

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    » Fumble! Grenades 1.0 Read-Me
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    NAME: Fumble! Grenades - No Feedback
    TYPE: Added Content
    VERSION: 1.0
    DATE RELEASED: July 7, 2017

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    » DESCRIPTION
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    So, some of you may remember my recent "Friendly Droid Kits" mod where I mentioned Malkior and I had been talking about fumbling grenades. Well, things happened, I got bored, and it boils down to "Why not?"

    What this mod does is allow anyone who ever uses a grenade to have a chance at fumbling the throw. Essentially, the person throwing the grenade will need to make a Reflex saving throw when they go to throw the grenade. The result of the throw is then matched up against a target DC based on the thrower's level:

    Levels 1-5 = DC 20
    Levels 6-10 = DC 22
    Levels 11-14 = DC 25
    Levels 15-19 = DC 30
    Levels 20-25 = DC 35
    Level 26+ = DC

    The scaling might seem off, but it tries to account for the better-tier items and boosts you get towards the higher levels and takes into account that it should get easier to use grenades over time.

    Another thing this mod does is restore the Weapon Proficiency, Focus, and Specialization feats for the grenades. I've corrected the TLK entry for the description of the Weapon Specialization: Grenade feat to reflect the actual vanilla contents of the "k_sup_grenade.nss" script. I've also modified the use of the Weapon Focus: Grenade feat, since you don't make Attack rolls with grenades. Instead, the DC to save from fumbling will be reduced by 5 if you have the feat.

    This version of the mod provides no feedback on the results of your fumble save.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    » INSTALLATION
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    An installation which involves the TSL Patcher has been made ready for your use and is the simplest and easiest way to carry out installation.

    You have four options to pick from when installing the mod; these choices boil down to two separate choices

    The first is whether or not to print feedback to your message log on the results of the Reflex save against fumbling.

    The second is whether you want to install a version compatible with Shem's SEM - Super Enhanced Mod.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    » KNOWN BUGS
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Not a bug, but when you fumble a grenade, you won't know until it blows up. This is because the animation and model of the thrown grenade is specificied in spells.2da and takes a predefined course, namely at the person you're targeting.
    There are 2 ways to report bugs:
    1: Post your issues in the Bug Reporting Thread.
    2: PM your issues to Fair Strides at Deadlystream.

    TO REPORT THROUGH PM

    1) Go to DeadlyStream ( http://deadlystream.com/ ) and search for the user Fair Strides ( http://deadlystream.com/forum/user/9107-fair-strides/ )
    2) Send a private message with as much detail as possible of what is occurring in your game. He will likely report back to you within a week.

    TO REPORT THROUGH THE BUG THREAD:
    1) Go to the Bug Thread ( http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/5508-fumble-grenades/ )
    2) Reply with as much detail as you can provide, and please list (and preferably link to) all the mods you're using.

  13. Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs for TSL

    The fastest ship in the galaxy is also a work in progress. When they are not out and about with you, the gang spends most of their time just trying to keep the Ebon Hawk up and running. But the many gaps in walls, ceilings, and floors, the mysterious black panels, missing hull pieces, and see-through metal is a lot for even our expert Iridonian to handle. So let's give Bao-Dur a hand! So to speak.
    Version 2.0.0 contains lots of new goodies, such as fixed lightmapping, lights for dynamic objects where they were missing, re-cut geometry for computer panels to match blinking animations to the appropriate textures, loosened walkmeshes to remove some invisible walls, and a host of new texture mapping improvements. This mod also now has you covered for the damaged Ebon Hawk seen in the prologue, fixing the same sorts of issues.
    Installation:
    Download the 7z file for the mod version of your choice and extract to your override folder, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II". 7z files can be opened with Archive Utility on macOS, or with free programs such as PeaZip on Windows/Linux. If you are upgrading from an older version of this mod, you can safely delete that "Ultimate_Ebon_Hawk_Repairs" folder from your override.
    If you use either "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, ebmar, and Xarwarz, I have made special versions of relevant submodules wherein I recut the computer panel geometry again to match the ship animations to the textures exactly. Due to the high quality of these textures, I was able to make the cuts in this version even nicer than the ones I made for vanilla. Just take the files found in the "Animated Monitors" subfolder, place them into the main mod folder, and enjoy.
    Uninstallation:
    Remove the folder "Ultimate_Ebon_Hawk_Repairs_for_TSL" from your override.
    Included Files:
    Compatibility:
    Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. This mod is not compatible with "Ebon Hawk Model Fixes" by bead-v and ndix UR, but fixes the same issues, as well as a great many more. If you currently have the other mod installed, you can avoid any mod conflicts by removing either "EbonHawkCockpitFix_v2.0" or "Ebon Hawk Cockpit Fix" from your override, depending on which version you currently have. If you are looking for an Ebon Hawk repairs mod for the first game, that is available here.
    If you are looking for some other ways to make the ship a little more livable, there are many texture mods out there that are well worth the installation, and all of them compatible with this mod. Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, ebmar, and Xarwarz have authored both "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" and "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)".  I recommend using either version in conjunction with this mod, and have even made special versions of some of the ship submodules to cater to those textures exactly -- if you use either mod, and I recommend you do, I highly suggest reading the relevant bit in the Installation section for more details.
    You can also check out ShiningRedHD's "Ebon Hawk HD - 4x Upscaled Texture" on NexusMods for a high definition version of the exterior of the ship. Dark parts of the ship's map bothering you? Check out "TSL Ebon Hawk Downloadable Map" by Ashton Scorpius. If you have any compatibility questions, feel free to ask, though there are not too many mods out there also working on the Ebon Hawk's models, as opposed to textures. For a mod such as this, checking for compatibility is as simple as ensuring a different mod does not contain any files of the same name as those included in the list below. Note that this mod includes three minorly-edited lightmaps, as listed above.
    Acknowledgments:
    Thanks to Fred Tetra for making file extraction easy with KotORTool and Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender. I also want to give a big thank-you to bead-v and ndix UR for their work on "Ebon Hawk Model Fixes", and for their generosity. I would also like to thank Pcthoros for reporting the light issue for mobile users.
    For those of you curious about that mystery object in the first few screenshots, the Ebon Hawk's main hold is surrounded by a black box meant to make all the geometry errors throughout the ship less noticeable. I removed it, sealed up all the gaps in the above screenshots, as well as many more, then put back the pieces that were not accidentally visible to the player.

  14. Upgradeable Clothes by smugglerAlex

    ================================================================================
    Knights of the Old Republic II : The Sith Lords Modification
    ================================================================================

    I just walked throught the entire game wearing Miner's Uniform instead of any armor/robes (hard difficulty),
    i used some upgrades on it, like Biorestorative Underlay IV and etc...

  15. TSL Tactical Combat Mod

    <<<TSL Tactical Combat Mod>>>
    by Frykas
    <<About>>
    If you ever felt that after lvl 15 in KotOR 2, your PC and team got all powerful (Fredon's Nadd tomb being the exception) and
    pazaak with Atton on (Republic Senat's rules) was more fun than slaying couple more thugs or beasts than this mod is for you.
    After playing a lot of Pillars of Eternity, I realized that TSL had nearly the same potential for tactical fights but after less
    than half the game you had to be counter productive to have a fight that lasts more than 4 seconds. Honestly most times I didn't
    have time to use more than two force buffs because everyone was already dead. Difficulty changes only enemy damage output so it
    makes things harder but enemies still drop like flies. This mod aims (and will aim, definitely not finished) to correct that.

    <<Changes>>
    Files changed are classes.2da, autobalance.2da and k_sp1_force.ncs; autobalance has significantly increased NPC's health, slightly buffed
    saving throws, set NPC's level to be equal to PC. Classes.2da doubled gained health (on lvlup) by PC and team and raised
    force point gain (on lvlup) by 50%. !!!Because of game mechanics, increased health points and force poins gain doesnt work
    retroactively, meaning you'll have to start a new game (as even KSE cannot change your vitality poins directly), this will
    probably NOT be "fixed" in future releases. Enemy HP and other changes will apply once you enter new area after installing.

    <<Compatibility>>
    This mod works with TSLRCM and is being tested and developed to work with it. If you don't have TSLRCM instaled changes might
    not be appropriate for your playthrough. This mod should work with any other mod that doesn't change those files:
    Classes.2da, Autobalance.2da, k_sp1_force.ncs
    ADITIONAL FILE: dialog.tlk included in this download goes to the main folder and not override.
    It should be comatible with the TSl RCM game but any mod that changes dialog.tlk might not be compatible and will require testing.
    My file includes modified force powers descriptions to account for extended duration.

    <<Install>>
    Drop files to Override (who doesn't like that? )
     Dialog.tlk goes to main install folder and make sure to back it up lest you have to reinstall main game and mods.
    <<Uninstall>>
    Well, this is going to be difficult...

    (remove Classes.2da, Autobalance.2da and k_sp1_force.ncs from Override folder, replace dialog.tlk with backed up version if you used it)

    <<Future changes>>
    -A lot more testing and figuring out the perfect balance
    -If you have an idea for more changes or would like to help with this leave a comment or PM me.

    All the best!

  16. Fully Upgradeable Clothes by smugglerAlex

    ============================================================================================================
    Knights of the Old Republic II : The Sith Lords Modification
    ============================================================================================================

    Like my previous mods this one allows to upgrade your clothes and some special outfits (Mira's and Atton's
    Jackets, Dancer's Outfit), but unlike my previous mods this one allows to insert ANY armorings and overlays to
    those clothes. I just realized that Mira's and Attons's jackets look so tough they just must have those
    armorings/overlays that are only meant for armors in that game. Also, about simple clothes, you can now insert all
    available armorings/overlays to your clothes, because even IRL nothing can stop you putting some kevlar plates under
    your T-shirt =). Of those four only dancer's outfit lacks the ability to insert just EVERYTHING, because wearing
    some armor plates under your T-shirt is one thing but concealing those plates to the color of your skin is something
    else..... so u can insert only robe overlays to dancer's outfit.

    ============================================================================================================
    Installation
    ============================================================================================================

    Just drag'n'drop all the stuff from mod folder into your override folder.

    Note:
    For this to work you will have to start a new game or use cheats/save editors.

    ============================================================================================================
    Uninstallation
    ============================================================================================================

    Delete all that stuff from your override folder.

  17. [TSL] Lost Modules Pack

    Not really a mod, more of a modding resource. Here I've gathered the 7 most useful
    'lost' modules for KotOR 1 - that is, modules that had no .rim files, and were essentially
    just room models in the game files. Why do I say 'most useful'? There are a few more -
    one of which is a slice of corridor, and several bits of the Unknown World temple-top,
    but none of these are much different or much more useful than the already existing modules,
    or the ones I have packaged here. Neither are they particularly exemplary.

    And so, here they are. I would guess that the modules' functions would be:

    In 2006-7, I found a variety of 'lost' modules in KotOR I, which I released as a pack.
    This consisted mainly of areas for which area models, walkmesh and lightmaps existed
    in the game files, but no module file. I complied these for use.

    Shortly aftewards I found around three others for TSL, which I intended to release
    around the time of my release of another mod of mine. The mod got delayed, and I
    forgot about the lost modules for a long time, until reminded by VarsityPuppet.

    Unlike the KotOR I set, these don't appear to have been made for areas which were
    then unused, but were probably for test effects, or similar purposes. They are:

    000test - Empty, box-shaped room. The camera clips through the walls, like it
    does in most custom modules.

    000trl - Small, empty area with a foggy floor. Perhaps has something to do with
    the main menu, when completed by a character with the Sith Lord prestige
    class?

    999dia - Very large, flat plane, with walkmesh and lighting. Perhaps a test?

    Usage and credit
    I make no claim over usage - you may create and upload your own versions of this mod
    however and wherever you like - but please credit me appropriately.

    Please also do not upload or claim credit for an unmodified version of this mod elsewhere.
    It's just rude.

  18. JC's Shader Fixes for K2

    When they made K2, Obsidian removed several shaders from characters that had them in K1. I suspect this was part of a systematic effort to improve performance on the Xbox. There's no such technical limitation on modern computers, however. But the perplexing thing about it is the shaders weren't just removed, but for some characters you can't even give them shaders in the conventional way that would always work in K1. There is another way, oen that other mods have used already, but I think it's a bit of a hack method. Even though I've used it myself for years, I never released my work as a mod because the installation process is less than ideal. Recent insights, however, have allowed me to finally understand why the heck this happens and come up with an alternative solution that doesn't require mucking around in appearance.2da.
    This mod alters the appearance of certain characters in the game, giving them shaders, making them nice and shiny. The affected characters are Mandalorians, T3-M4, and all the HK units (HK-47, the 50s, and the 51s).
    For the Mandalorians, I can safely say their shaders are just straight up missing. They're shiny in K1 and not in K2. In K1 they only ever appear in small numbers, but in K2 there's a whole camp of them on Dxun - I think that was the problem for the poor little Xbox. I've made them shiny again, though I didn't just copy the alpha channel from K1 as I didn't particularly care for it. It looked like there was too much contrast to me, with some parts having no shader and then parts right next to them were totally shiny. I tried to make mine subtler so all the metal pieces have a mild shine, with none on the body glove.
    I've also fixed some other issues present on the Mandalorian model. One of the finger bones was visible and there were some smoothing and weighting errors. The HK-51s aren't even in the original release of the game. But HK-47 is quite shiny in K1 and I think the later models ought to be as well. While the 51s don't appear and the 50s only appear in small numbers, there was supposed to be an entire factory of them late in the game, so - I think they had their shininess removed for the same reason as the Mandalorians.
    For the HK-51s, I've also fixed some texture issues around the photoreceptors.
    HK-47 himself is not shiny in K2 because he's worn down and rusted all over. I don't think a technical reason was responsible for the lack of shaders here; he probably looks as the designers intended. But I thought he could do with a little bit, a hint of his former glory. T3's situation was similar. For both of them, I tried to apply shiny to the parts that look like they're still working, with the amount on all the rust and banged up bits reduced to almost nothing.
    I've separated them into different folders in case you only want to use some of them.

    Description:
    TSLRCM is a mod that restores most of the cut content back into the game. While this mod does do an excellent job at doing so it also comes with a new logo which now reads "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II THE SITH LORDS RESTORED CONTENT MODIFICATION 1.8.5 (The 1.8.5 bit changes depending on the version you play). That new
    logo is extremley useful to new players since it lets them know if it's been successfully installed or not but realistically Obsidian never intened for that logo to be in the game so what this mod does is reimplement the old logo back into the TSLRCM game.

    Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords mod
    [TSL] Vibroweapons replacement pack retexture
    A replacement of all vibroweapons. This mod is just a conversion of my mod for KotOR to work
    with KotOR 2: TSL.
    Original ReadMe from KotOR mod:
    ======================================================
    Original models of vibroswords for KotOR by: DeadMan
    Original models of vibroblades and double vibro-blades for KotOR by: Seph6
    Original models for Jedi Academy by: RevanDark

    Description
    ***********
    This is a retexture/recolor for DeadMan's [K1] Vibroswords replacement pack
    and Seph6 [K1] Vibroblades and Vibro double-blades replacement pack.
    It will replace the standard vibroswords, vibroblades and vibro double-blades with new models.
    The "new" textures looks similar to original game weapons. Colors match to those made by BioWare (mostly).
    Every blade looks like it was vibrating and there are more color options than in original mods.
    New icons clearly shows color of blade and hilt.

  21. Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration

    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords
    Author: N-DReW25
    Release Date: 17.03.2017

    Installation:
    Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic

    Uninstallation:
    Remove or Delete the "p_baodur.utc", "p_disciple.utc", "p_handmaiden.utc", "p_hk47.utc" and "p_mand.utc".

    When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the
    "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration files

    If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support

    Description:
    Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However, if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Heavy
    Weapons Feats are not in game, instead heavy repeating blasters have the blaster rifle feat instead. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as a heavy repeating blaster is technically a blaster rifle but when I discovered the icons I made it
    my priority to restore this small bit of cut content that TSLRCM doesn't even mention.

    WARNING: In the TSLPatcher I had an error message saying "Warning: Invalid column label "File1" encountered! Skipping entry..."! I have no idea what this means but it doesn't look to be too bad in game. If any problems do arise or if you know
    the reason behind this message please tell me immediately so I can hope to fix it

    Currently, only Bao Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, HK-47 and Mandalore have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen

    Also, ALL heavy repeating blasters will require this new feat instead of the Blaster Rifle Feat. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no weapon since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot wield his heavy repeating blaster. If you spot these please let me know so I can
    fix them

    Recommendations: I highly recommend using Kainzorus Prime's TSL Fixed Proficiency/Focus Feat mod in conjunction with this one- http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/420-tsl-fixed-proficiencyfocus-feat-icons/

    Known Bugs:
    this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.

    Incompatibilities:
    The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme

    Permissions:
    Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission

    Thanks:
    Bioware for such an amazing game, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod.

  22. Droid Testing Console Texture Upgrade

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 01 MAY 2018

    GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1.]
    REQUIRED ADDITIONAL MOD: M4-78 Enhancement Project (either EP version 1.2, EP version 1.3 (the one on Steam), or EP version 1.5)

    Description:
    ------------------

    I was dissatisfied with the textures that I made for the Droid Testing Consoles. The Droid Testing Consoles are seen near the end of the Industrial Zone on M4-78, just before you get to the Industrial Zone Archon Chamber. One of the textures had a Galaxy as the background and the other had a game map on it. In addition, I thought I could come up with better animations in the smaller boxes. I decided to take action and change that.

    The previous backgrounds have been replaced with a new background from an droid assembly line on M4-78. It's actually a loop of the HK Factory with a new War Droid texture swapped in to replace the HK droids usually seen in there. (No, you hadn't missed an area.) Some of the other texture enhancements can been seen in these example GIFs.

    This version of the mod is compatible with both version 1.2 (available on MODDB) and the 1.3 version (only available on Steam) or version 1.5 (available here on Deadly Stream.) Each frame size is 1024 by 1024 and there are 11 frames in total.

    Installation:
    -----------------

    Drop the TGA and TXI files into your Override folder.

    Uninstall:
    --------------

    To completely remove the loading screens, delete all the TGA and TXI files that were included in this mod from your Override folder.

    Special Thanks:

    JCarter426 for his replacement textures so I could swap in the Sith War Droids into the HK Factory animation.

    I used High Quality Blasters version 1.0 by SithSpecter in the animation with the rotating blaster. Highly recommended!

  23. TSL Reduced Graphics Mod

    This mod reduces the amount of video effects that are used to reduce overall lag in the game, should help a little if you're having performance problems.

    It mostly reduces dynamic lights, shadow casting lights and other small details but on the low setting all effects are disabled for max performance.

    If you need more performance you could also use Shem's Realistic Visual Effects mod or Siberian Wolf's No speed blur mod with this one. Other than that, tweakguides has some good tips you should look at.

    There's likely to be a couple of slight changes later on so suggestions are welcome.

    As usual feel free to use it however you like, please throw a mention my way if you do.

  24. Kristy's Saber Pack

    Well 4 sabers, 1 double saber, and 1 (very large) disruptor rifle. Anyway, due to the large amount of saber mods already out, I really can't guarantee compatibility with other mods. I did include a program that will scan your override to check if you already have any files that will conflict with this mod.

    Although I posted this in the TSL section, it will work for K1 or TSL.
