  1. Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope y'all doing fine. I need an assistance on guessing what these are: Are they AuroraLight or Lightmap? The area model in discussion is m26aa_14a. The problem is - I have changed every AuroraLight's Color Controllers there to my likings but they don't seem to linked with the glowy area around the yellow marks. So I guess I'm stucked and needing assistance to proceed further. Many thanks for considering this and may the Force be with you!

  4. Can someone please make mods for clone wars or rebels characters I see alot of amazing mods all over the internet but I still haven't seen any kotor mods for characters like Ahsoka (Rebels or Clone wars era) Kanan Jarus, Obi-Wan, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren not even Mace Windu
  5. Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope y'all doing fine. On Ahto City there's a beautiful cantina with [supposedly] beautiful scenery there. Unfortunately, they're blocked by an arrogant wall of metal, lol. I pick up the area model which is m26aa_11a and delete the vertex which supposed to be the metal-wall so they looked like this: But I'm stuck with a platform/structure on the high seas there. They're positioned above the water levels so they have that redundant part that are shown as seen with the first and third images. The structure's texture in talk supposedly LMA_bboard01. So, what I'm requesting is: Could someone remove the metal-walls similarly like the images above and repositioned the background-structure so the upper part of it rises at the same level as the water. If they want to replace the metal-wall with something like LTS_window that would be greatly appreciated Any further improvement and/or improvisation as they [the author] see them fit also very much welcome. 😛 Many thanks for considering my request - and may the Force be with you!

THE ONLY EXCEPTION SO FAR IS KAINZORUS PRIME'S NPC OVERHAUL... The KotOR 1 Restoration Mod is an attempt to restore almost all the content that was cut from the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by BioWare Corp. Of course, these restorations will be within reason and things that were cut because they did not fit with the plot, and cannot be made to fit with the plot, will most definitley NOT be restored. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » INTEGRATED MODS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » RESTORED CONTENT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG FIXES/CHANGE LOG FOR 1.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ »» Original game: »» K1R Bugs: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG FIXES/CHANGE LOG FOR 1.1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There weren't too many bugs in KotOR 1, thus there is such a short list. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » INSTALLATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An installation which involves the TSL Patcher has been made ready for your use and is the simplest and easiest way to carry out installation. Alternatively, a secondary installer has been made for convenience. It will not patch the files like the TSL Patcher will, but it should be less of a headache for most users. HOWEVER, IT WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE ANY OTHER MODS!!! Note: The K1R team is not responsible for any incompatibility issues that may arise from the use of this mod in conjunction with other mods. Also, in order to provide the best feedback for us we recommend that you play K1R with NO other mods installed. This will give you the grammar and typo fixes to the vanilla text. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ »»»» TSL PATCHER INSTALLATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) Double click K1R_1.2_Installer.exe found in the main directory of the unpacked folder. 2) Click the button labeled Install Mod. 3) Click yes to the box that'll pop up... if you wish to proceed with installation. 4) Watch as all the little file names and progress reports scroll by and wait until the installer is complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG REPORTING ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are 2 ways to report bugs: 1: Post your issues in the Bug Reporting Thread. 2: PM your issues to Fair Strides at Deadlystream. 7. View File [K1] Marlena Venn "Legends" This mod made readjustments to Marlena Venn, both her appearance and positioning on the Dune Sea - to further improve the gameplay aspects from encountering her, and bring a fresh-new experience with her new looks and some other stuffs! # Background # When I met Marlena the first time I know that she's special - in a mysterious way, lol. Yeah, I catch her mysterious side so I did a makeover of her - appearance wise. About the positioning - it bugged me where she was placed so I moved her. Particularly when the conversation was initiated, so with her new placement it looks like she did make the conversation first. And that's how I see the encounter should start. # About this Mod # This modification makes unique appearance for Marlena Venn of Dune Sea [Tatooine], also reposition her to a new spot and replace her recorded voice with the filtered version so it sounded like an actual playback straight from a droid. GIT positioning preview: Encounter quick-preview: Ah-ha! It also makes Marlena equip a Blaster Pistol, some Credits, and a Repair Kit. Here's a breakdown of why's: Blaster Pistol: because she was "through planning", she wants to make sure of everything Credits: well, she planned on going shuttle somewhere - it just makes sense for her to carry some Repair Kit: some leftover from earlier tinkering with the droids Those new content was made to connect with jc2's "Kill Marlena". I have tested them together on my playthrough and they work like a charm! A truly-fun content worth installing for you - Dark Siders! Just make sure to install this mod last of them. Without it there'll be no change of plot whatsoever and those additional stuff wouldn't have effects. # Final Remarks # There's always room for an improvement so - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] and then hit the [Install Mod ->] button Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tat_m18aa.mod; put that file back to 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted To uninstall the Voice Over simply put back its backup to streamwaves \ m18ab \ 10wi06 folder - overwrite when prompted Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything, including jc2's "Kill Marlena" - just make sure to install this mod after every mods has. Though haven't being tested with Kainzorus Prime's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and N-DReW25's "K1 Gameplay Improvement" installed, presumably they'll be compatible. But be advised that compatibility issue of this mod working along with them is not yet confirmed. Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tat_m18aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Dune Sea - Tatooine [tat_m18aa] module This mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: I'm asking you not to redistribute this mod - I'd like to stay in touch with them so I know where to provide support. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to SpaceAlex, BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion from this mod assets. 8. Please. Current Kotor 1 female heads just aren't doing it for me right now. Checked TSL's heads out of curiosity and bam, turns out this one is perfect. I've spent the last hour or two looking for either the knowledge or the finished job but came up short. Apparently porting only just became allowed relatively recently. I would MASSIVELY appreciate this one way or another.

    Canderous' helmet-filtered voice

    Version 1.0.1

    120 downloads

This mod was made to increase the immersion for those who like me, love to play with Canderous in full Mandalorian armor. It applies radio effect on Canderous' voice. Completed lines: Taris ✓ Canderous conversation (stories, etc.) ✓ Carth and Bastila banter ✓ Jagi quest line ✓ Leviathan ✓ Multiple random reactions ✓ Soundset ✓ I've done my best to locate most of the dialogs, but some of the files are a real pain to find. If you happen to stumble upon missing soundfile let me know. It would be extremely helpful if you told me which module it happend and which NPC started the conversation (or you starded with). THIS IS NOT A CLOTHING/ARMOR MOD, IT CONTAINS MODIFIED AUDIO FILES ONLY! IT REQUIRES ANOTHER MOD TO LOOK PROPERLY FE: "Mandalorian Ultimate Mod"! Have fun!
  10. View File Juhani - Canon-like Cathar Changes Juhani's appearance to a more pleasant looking Cathar woman in game, based on official Star Wars graphic novel visual concepts/references. Released: 12 March 2015 Author: Cerez Description: Based on official, Star Wars Expanded Universe visual references, this mod completely changes Juhani's hostile default appearance in the game to a more-broadly-accepted-canon-like, unique, young Cathar woman players can find more relatable, to compliment her story arc. A number of years were spent detail refining this mod to make it feel like it was always meant to be a part of the original game. Instructions: Place all the files in the Files folder into your game's Override folder. To make best use of this mod, I recommend also copying the files in the Extra folder to Override, because they serve to fix some debilitating bugs in Juhani's quest, and restore some of her removed dialogue from the original game -- therefore completing her involvement in the game's story. Credits: This mod is built on Shem's "Juhani - Total Makeover" mod, which used Mjpb3's head skin as a base, and its head model was exported/made by Kha. In addition, I've had generous help from DarkLordXana, who was kind to help me give Kha's head model Cathar features (sharp teeth, flatter nose), and to whom I am forever grateful for their support. K1 Twi'lek Male 3D Ears

    Version 1.2.1

    181 downloads

This mod adds proper ears to male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I. In the vanilla game, male Twi'lek heads had no geometry for ears, leaving them as flat textures on the head. For every other head in the game that has ears, those ears stick out. After noticing this inconsistency, I decided to take a shot at fixing it. This mod makes an additional adjustment by fixing the eyelid origins, so that they no longer clip through the face when blinking. It may be a small-scale change, but given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, it's a nice visual improvement that keeps consistency with other character models in the game. There's also a KOTOR II version available here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files located in "Override" to the Override folder located in your game's directory. If prompted, select replace, although you might want to back up any pre-existing duplicates beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from the Override folder located in your game's directory. There's a list of files included in the download's readme.txt for reference. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod should be compatible with any other mod as long as they don't override the same files. Any Twi'lek male retexture mods should also work fine with this installed. Known issues: None as of this version's release. Credits Fred Tetra, Kotor Tool bead-v, MDLedit Fair Strides, MDLOps Symmetric, Purifier, & ndix UR; KotOR Blender Blender Foundation, Blender Major thanks to the KOTOR community for the passion & dedication that keeps these games alive. This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed placeables texture with the specularity-tweaked vanilla placeables texture. # Background # The primary motivation of this mod is to get the most of vanilla textures, by tweaking their alpha channel to have them showing their best shades and reflections. # About this Mod # Inside this version are 13 specularity-tweaked vanilla placeables textures. # Final Remarks # This mod performs at best with the vanilla state of the game, particularly with area textures. As all the assets inside this mod are using vanilla textures that was extracted using the KotOR Tool. Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes any TGA/DDS files inside the 'Override' folder that are using the same name with the files that comes with the mod first. Because if they're on TGA/DDS, the installer can not patch them. But if they were on TPC or you are running a clean install playthrough, you could just run the installer straight-forwardly [TSLPatcher.exe]- as any files with the same name will be backed-up automatically. Uninstallation: Remove the installed files from the 'Override" folder or replaces them with the files stored in the 'Backup' folder [if generated]. Compatibility: Will not be compatible with any mods that using the same name for the assets. This mod perform at best with the vanilla state of the game, particularly with the area textures. As all the assets inside the mod are using vanilla textures that was extracted using the KotOR Tool. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the good intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, don't forget to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts, as inside this mod are their base assets. Anyway, a credit to me is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: DarthParametric for the past-present knowledge which allows me to create any customs for the game. 14. [Updated: March 24, 2019] # 00. Disclaimer # I thought making this "Legends" overhaul as a series would do good for my own pace in modding terms. # 01. Background # Legends. Why does this project labeled as Legends? First of all, this series had not related at all with the Star Wars Legends; though it was very much inspired by them. The project was labeled as Legends because I believe this would give me more freedom on how I wanted to shape the mod and its series. Referencing to the general term of Legend [Keep it noted that I have the following explanation edited for my likings lol]; "is a genre of folklore that consists of a narrative featuring human [non-human] actions perceived or believed both by teller and listeners to have taken place within history. Legends may be transformed over time, in order to keep them fresh, vital, and realistic. Many legends operate within the realm of uncertainty, never being entirely believed by the participants, but also never being resolutely doubted." So, that's all for the introduction, I think. And later; with the release of Selven "Legends" and Lyn Sekla "Legends", I decided to put myself into a series of mod that will be labeled as "Legends", this will consists mostly on reskinning and re-building stats and also their attribution of the particular objects and if possible; some new custom items. These will be done as my playthrough goes while I'm deciding which objects that I want to overhaul, while also considering the risk for it'd be game breaking or no. I'm going to take which path with the lesser risk [and which is more interesting to me] of course. # 02. Planning # I'm planning to have each [possible] planet in-game, a two series of "Legends" carries out. 1. Taris [Completed: January 1, 2019] Selven "Legends" [Completed: July 9, 2018] [featuring Sithspecter's "High Quality Blasters for Modders" and DeadMan's "[K1] Vibrosword Replacement Pack"] Lyn Sekla "Legends" [Completed: July 27, 2018] [featuring Dark Hope's "Girl with Ritual Tattoos"] Janice Nall "Legends" and the Incomplete Droids [Completed: January 1, 2019] [featuring DarthParametric's "Female Armour Collar Fix"] 2. Dantooine [WIP/Updated: October 14, 2018] Belaya "Legends" [WIP] [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - Jedi Robes"] Sherruk "Legends" [WIP] [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PC Head Reskins" and ndix UR's "Traditional Mandalorian Blades"] 3. Tatooine [WIP/Updated: March 24, 2019] Komad Fortuna "Legends" [WIP] [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack" and redrob41's "Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR and TSL"] Marlena Venn "Legends" [Completed: March 24, 2019] [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack"] 4. Korriban [Completed: August 20, 2018] Ajunta Pall's Blade "Legends" [featuring IRobert's "[K1] Vibroweapons Replacement Pack Retexture"] Ajunta Pall's Voice "Legends" [featuring VarsityPuppet's "Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance" in the preview] 5. Manaan [WIP/Updated: September 25, 2018] Mysterious Man "Legends" [WIP] [featuring Dark Hope's "HD PMHA03" and redrob41's "Modder's Resource: Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR - K1 Model UVW Fixes"] 6. Kashyyyk [To be decided] For the meantime, those [planets] are on my priorities list, and then I'll have them updated as things progress. # 03. Work in Progress # [Updated: October 14, 2018] Komad Fortuna "Legends" [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack" and redrob41's "Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR and TSL"] All files for his release had been compiled and the installer has been ready. But still I am not 100% sure about his clothing option. Still digging for another ideas. The grand idea was; to have Komad two different appearances between the Hunting Lodge, the Krayt Dragon's lair, and his appearance on Kashyyyk [possible light side path]. His appearance in the Krayt Dragon's lair will be the one that is different because he would wear an armor there. Belaya "Legends" [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - Jedi Robes"] Sherruk "Legends" [featuring SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PC Head Reskins" and ndix UR's "Traditional Mandalorian Blades"] Mysterious Man "Legends" [featuring Dark Hope's "HD PMHA03" and redrob41's "Modder's Resource: Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR - K1 Model UVW Fixes"] # 04. Next Steps # [Updated: October 14, 2018] Belaya "Legends": Digging some ideas with her appearance on the Sith Academy Entrance [possible dark side path]. # 05. Future Plans # An expansion to Selven "Legends" as stated in the mod's WIP thread will always be in the future-plan priority list. 🤞 # 06. Final Remarks # Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks are very much appreciated. Many thanks to you, for taking your time here.

    [K1] Marlena Venn "Legends"

    Version 1.0.0

    77 downloads

This mod made readjustments to Marlena Venn, both her appearance and positioning on the Dune Sea - to further improve the gameplay aspects from encountering her, and bring a fresh-new experience with her new looks and some other stuffs! 16. Hi everyone I was wondering if someone could help me out with a little problem. I'm trying to port Kaidon Jorns lightsaber mod that adds Revan's SWTOR lightsaber model for TSL into K1 and I've been following this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtxwmXHsIfQ) but he doesn't go over what to do with hilt mdl/mdx files or how to get them into the game. I wanted to do something like JC's Darksaber and add a unique non-upgradeable lightsaber in game but that's beyond the scope of the video. So if anyone has any tips or a link to a tut that would help me id really appreciate it.
