  1. Thank you so much for this news, I estimate that it will greatly enhance the playthrough of Kotor I. Just out of curiosity, do you plan on including a patch for the robes given in the Brotherhood of Shadow mod? Every robe enhancement mod that's been released so far for Kotor I has played havoc with the models for those robes. in either case, please keep me posted on the progress of this mod, as I look forward to incorporating it into the game

  3. Would someone be able to port Deadman's Movie-style Jedi robes and Movie-style Mandalorian mods to Kotor 1? He gave his permission for users to have that done to his mods and given their popularity for Kotor 2, and they definitely enhance the playthrough quality for Kotor 2, so I'm surprised nobody seems to have done this yet
  4. This honestly looks perfect. Great job! Please keep me posted on this if possible! I'm currently looking to overhaul the appearances of a lot of the NPCs in K1 especially. Belaya was one of my top picks for this, as were the Sith acolyte Lashowe (replacing her head with the PFHC02 head from K2, ideally with dark-side corruption but just for the eyes) and the Hidden Bek sentry on Taris (whose voice sounds totally different from how she looks bc she sounds like a middle-aged Irish or British lady; I use VP's Helena Shan mod and so I was thinking of using Helena Shan's vanilla head to put as the Hidden Bek sentry's head, it actually fits perfectly). Otherwise, please keep me posted on the progress with TSLPatcher for the Belaya mod.
  5. I would appreciate tips on how to personally use skins and models especially to redesign NPC characters that appear and also possibly for using them for playable characters. I would also appreciate tips on how to port some of these models from K2 to K1 and vice versa since I'm especially trying to custom overhaul the NPC appearances there using PC heads.
  6. Would you be able to make this compatible with the robes in the Brotherhood of Shadow Mod so that in the very least it doesn't edit their models? It also seems to mess up the texture for the Ulic Qel-Droma robes which weren't adjusted to the model
  7. These robes look great for the most part but I would love to see a version of this mod where they come with cloaks. Also I find that when my female comps wear them, the robes look too big/bulky like they didn't adjust well to the female form in the game and so it makes female heads look too small for the robes. It doesn't glitch or anything but in terms of size/proportion the robes seem a bit off when worn by females
  8. How do you use this in TSLRCM? It won't let me direct the program toward Kotor II but also won't tell me how to direct it to TSLRCM which is where my main game files are
  9. This mod seems to be in conflict with DemonLord7654's Red Republic HD mod which puts the emblems on the uniforms. The emblem for some reason gets stretched across the hat now. Red Republic HD - 4X Upscaled Texture at Knights of the Old Republic Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
  10. Why is the bed invisible and also why does the Butler not appear to have voice files? Are there fixes for these things?

I feel like this would realistically be out of character for Bastila (given her vow of celibacy to the order of basically space-monks that she's joined) but again she also wears what looks like a skin-tight suit with a leather harness so her default clothing isn't exactly modest either. Still, it somehow feels weird to make her character overtly "sexy" like that, given her Jedi affiliation and stringent beliefs. Seems more like something the dark version of her would wear after being corrupted by Malak. To each their own head-canon I guess.

I am aware of and have used Deadman's mods for Kotor 2 which have enhanced the appearance of both the Jedi robes and Mandalorian armor to make them appear closer to what they are in the movies and shows. However, I haven't seen versions of either mod (or of Mcfly's retexture of the Mandalorians accompanying it) made for Kotor 1 and I have tested these mods to confirm they are not compatible with it. Would someone (possible Deadman himself?) be interested in porting or making versions of those two mods for Kotor 1? They would definitely help enhance the visual and/or playthrough quality of the game.

  15. A while back, Kexikus made a mod which added more Jedi Council Members to the holo-recording scene which the Exile views after leaving Telos on the Ebon Hawk. One of these was Vima Sunrider and an entire model and skin (including files) were made for her. Given that the model and skin and everything are there, how hard would it be to make this a playable skin?
  16. There should be a mod for a skin called "Young Kreia." According to Wookieepedia, the PFHC06 head from Kotor II was originally for a character named "Arren Kae" which was scrapped. Most fans generally accept that Kreia is indeed Master Arren Kae, who trained Revan and later became Darth Traya. My concept art provided here gives the PFHC06 head Kreia's hair-style but with the "platinum blonde" color of the original hair and I edited out Kreia's hair-binds. I would suggest that this could be an overwrite of both the model and skin of the PFHC06 head. Would someone be able to make this and if so, how difficult would it be?
  17. Would I put this manually into the override folder or would I put it into the tslpatchdata folder and reinstall the mod through TSLPatcher? I have done the latter already with no change. It seems that installing the NM fix into the override manually (rather than into the TSLPatcher and reinstalling the mod) did the trick for me and it is working now. Thank you.
  18. Just played through with this mod. The main issue seems to be that the uniforms are not coming up with any color although the models themselves appear correctly. The ones on the harbinger seem black in the recordings (although they are in fact transparent), and on Telos in the message where Carth talks to Lt Grenn about the Exile, his uniform is blank white. What could be causing this?
  19. Have you updated or been able to fix your Korriban Expansion mod regarding the voice files for steam users and the replacement of Kreia by Jolee? I had read those were issues in the mod initially.

      There was going to be a Redux for the Korriban Expansion which fixed a variety of things wrong with the mod, VO for Steam included, but that mod wasn't being developed by Newbiemodder (At least not the lead developer anyway).

       

      The "best" way to fix the audio in the Korriban Expansion would be to either:

      A) Open the KE mod's TSLPatcher folder and delete the audio files, this would create "missing file warnings" during installation but it will still install the mod without audio

       

      B,) If you already installed the mod, track down the KE Audio files inside the game files and delete them.

       

      This isn't a good fix, but the problem with Steam and .wav files is that the audio would skip in-game thus meaning you cannot hear what is being said or read the subtitles. By deleting the audio, you can at the very least read the subtitles so you can "somewhat" experience the mod for yourself.

  21. I'll be honest, the PFHC07 head from Kotor 2 feels like it belongs somewhere permanent, either on an NPC or to be reskinned on a recurring character. I also consider it the most attractive-looking female option for the game, but I digress. Would it be possible for someone to make a mod for this head to be used for the NPC Belaya in the Jedi enclave on Dantooine in Kotor 1? I feel like it'd give her more personality as her regular head is more generic and less defined
  22. This is probably biased, but in my view Jaesa is one of the prettier characters between all of KoToR and SWTOR combined, possibly with the exception of Bastila. I feel like this head would also work well as a canon Meetra Surik head, their faces don't look too different in terms of the models. It also looks like a cross between the different "canon" faces for Meetra since there seems to be more than one
