It was more my choice to change her head and some other NPCs to look different b/c in some cases I felt it matched their personality/voice better (I used your PMHB01 reskin head for the NPC Gendar, for example, and overhauled his unique appearance b/c that head seemed to suit him. I also changed the NPC Jorak Uln--the Sith hermit in the tombs--so that his head looked like Palpatine's). However if you'd be interested in creating highly-improved retextures of some of the original appearances, I'll include them in the mod as an "alternate" option for players to choose, with you receiving full credit for it of course. Having more options to customize the appearance would be beneficial in my opinion, but let me know what you think.

Would you happen to have tutorials on how to port in NPCs and some of their lines from either Kotor 2 to Kotor 1 or vice versa to various locations and/or how to edit modules to make that happen? For my NPC overhaul mod, I was considering adding in members to the Jedi Council on Dantooine and also having a couple of the Handmaidens stand outside the door to the sub-level like they were there to gather relics for Atris. I am fairly experienced with using Kotor Tool but it only allows me to edit NPCs which were already put there by developers and I am unsure of how to add new ones in and to do so in specific locations. Regarding Atris specifically, I was hoping to port in the Jedi Council chamber module on Coruscant and splice in some lines of hers so Revan could have a conversation with her like he did in the novel, which would take place *after* the end-scene where he asks about the Exile. Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping and/or giving pointers on this. -
Thanks! I don't think there will be any conflicts w/ K1R, as I am mainly just editing the appearances of NPCs who appear in the vanilla version (basically nearly any NPC who is seen talking or whom you can have conversations with will be edited, with the exception of the pazaak players who I generally ignore anyways 😎). The main conflicts will probably be with any mods that edit the clothing/armor of NPCs unless specified and/or unless this mod is installed *after* those other mods so the NPCs who have unique clothing assigned to them won't have it overwritten. Some alien members of the Swoop gangs on Taris have been replaced by Weequay species ported in from Kotor 2 to make it more interesting and diverse in terms of species

Do you plan on having contingencies for what characters or companions show up there based on what the player's choices were and/or who they decided to train or will it just include everyone as a jedi who had the potential? Also would it work differently if the player went dark-side? -

HAH!! It worked!!! You're a life-saver, so thank you. Just out of curiosity, why did it need to be changed to that instead of what was on the 2da? I've never had this issue with head textures, so I'm just curious how that works

I have attempted multiple times now to port the Sith robe models from Kotor 2 using MDLEdit but every time it seems to be working, they show up with the model but all black and no texture as shown below. In this case I used the supermodel listed (s_female03) and everything went through seemingly with no errors. Testing it on the Sith student Lashowe, I renamed the modeli and texi columns to the ported models and texture and I then renamed the modelb and texb columns after putting the models in the override folder and got the below result. My final attempt was to change *all* model and texture columns to the files I had put in override but there was no change in appearance regardless. What exactly am I doing wrong and which columns need to be changed? I changed *every* column to the name of the model and texture I installed but it wouldn't budge. Does the texture simply not fit the model anymore after it's been ported, or is there another issue?

Feel free to check out my planned NPC overhaul of the game which utilizes in-game player heads as well as custom heads and skins made by others to give more of the NPCs a unique look. The WIP thread is here. I'm not sure how to add or directly port in entire NPCs but I've been overhauling the appearance of some of them in Kotor I to resemble some NPCs and minor characters from Kotor II. On Dantooine especially, the area just outside the door to the sublevel has a female jedi NPC guarding it who I'm planning to modify and turn into Atris and then turn the two other women near her into Handmaidens to make it look like they're taking stuff from the enclave. Feel free to follow the progress here. I'd like to ensure compatibility between your mod and mine so I can support your endeavor with this. Atris most likely knew about the Council's decision, she knew who Kreia was and that she was responsible for Revan's leanings. In the novel, Revan actually meets with Atris after the events in Kotor I and asks her about the Exile and Atris tells Revan what happened. You should consult the Revenge of Revan team (N-DReW 25 is the most responsive) and make sure it's compatible with their planned expansion when it comes out. -

Sharina Fizark (the lady who sells you the Wraid Plate on Tatooine) now has a unique face. Perhaps now you'll recognize her when you meet her again on Dantooine (as a bonus, I included the restoration files of her to the Dantooine enclave in my mod and patched in her new head there too)

Safe to say I finally finished my overhaul of the Dantooine NPCs for now although I may come back to it and reskin some of the Jedi later. Shen and Rahasia are now more distinct in their appearances (thanks to Dark Hope's textures), as are some of the others like Jon (the NPC who gives you the quest to kill the Mandos, shoutout to Effix for the head I chose to use), and Nemo (the Jedi who later dies while investigating the ancient ruins, shoutout to Kainzorus Prime for allowing me to use his custom head). Aside from the obvious, I was also successfully able to port in Administrator Terena Adare from Kotor 2 to replace one of the generic NPCs standing outside the enclave but more importantly the NPC she replaces has a VO which sounds a lot like her. UPDATE: I went ahead and added Jedi Master Lonna Vash from Kotor II to the enclave on Dantooine by putting her head on a random female Jedi NPC who is shown patrolling the area. That Jedi doesn't really stop for a conversation but says things if you click on her, and her VO sounds pretty similar to Vash's. Overall I'd say this is a good fit. I'm happy to receive feedback on this

Do you plan on turning this into a mod? It looks great! I'd recommend having Atris or someone like that appear inside to complete the look since it's where the archives and relics are -
Finally got around to upgrading most of the human duelists (except for Deadeye Duncan, who already has his own unique appearance), as well as the nearby duel spectators in the arena area in the Upper City Cantina. Gerlon Two-Fingers, Ice, and Marl are now distinguishable.
