@HK-47No, Steam has forcibly logged me out and it can't connect to the Steam servers to log me back in. Hence, without the Steam menu to launch K2 I cannot continue my TSL mods for the time being.

@Domino5555Without spoiling it, off the top of my head, expect bug fixes and new NPC variants for Kerriban and Dantooine, modified cutscenes on Dantooine, bug fixes on Taris, restored content on Dantooine, new robes, modifications to armors (stats and textures etc), possibly the last Leviathan module.

For future updates, I am working on a heavily requested feature from K1R in the Upper City areas of Taris with a creative K1GI twist to it.

I've got an idea for a mod for the Freedon Nadd's Tomb mission: basically, it's this mod 

 just in the Tomb of Freedon Nadd, so the dialogue options for whoever you chose for the party leader would fit the personality of said leader.

@ebmar Thx! As for the Taris Duel Announcer: He is now an NPC you can interact with in the Cantina, kinda like in K1R. But, like with most other cut content I restore, it has my own twist to it.

Occasionally, the camera will focus on the announcer instead of the arena and it will show the announcer actually doing his job. After each match, your fans will converse with you briefly.

I like it, I will certainly check this mod out some time, but I know it will be some time before I run through kotor again, I still need to finish some modding projects. Congratz with reaching 1k!

@jc2 By then they may even be more updates released, of course meaning new fun content! I'd recommend installing my mod into a fresh swkotor just so everything works. Feel free to PM me if you want to check compatibility with some mods.

Well, you could always send an email to the article's author and promote other mods that are here.

Do we really need to encourage people to join the forums? I figure if people are truly interested they will find their way here one way or another. 

TBH, I might still use that mod for the default armors and alien NPCs.

The load times can still be pretty horrendous, that's for sure. But, the game itself has come a long way since its release. I wouldn't exactly call it "great", but I have fun playing the occasional Capital Supremacy and Heroes vs Villains modes on it.

You know, I honestly think BF2 now is a really good game! I love playing it. The multiplayer is great, the instant action/customizable singleplayer fights are also really fun.

The campaign story still sucks. But hey, so does the storyline for the new trilogy in general. 😧 Can't blame the game devs really for that.

Fair enough dudes glad ya like it! I might have to pick it up for cheap and then force (persuade) my mate to buy it for online fun hha.

In my credits, I always attribute Deadlystream.com for the community and hosting my mods, so there is a way to indirectly advertise, and, as you can see, nexusmods is not all that well monitered for its size, so we could probably get away with direct advertisement but I, personally, will not do as such.

If DS wants more traffic then that's Tyvokka's job to resolve. It's not really up to modders to be going on a "recruitment drive".

To those wringing their hands at this model's existence and commenting in this Status Update: Congratulations.  You've successfully advertised it.

I don't see the problems, feels like a pretty good tribute to all those wonderful MS paint reskin mods we got back from around 2004-5. I almost feel nostalgic.

Oh of course I’ll play it (as soon as I wrap up M4-78EP 1.5 today or tomorrow FYI). I really meant I’ll contuine to follow its progress. After all our good friend here has probably come the closest to putting the GenoHaradan in the game. And since I obviously love Nar Shaddaa ;), this is an amazing development!

This is good to know, I was going to port all content between games in order to allow for incredibly diverse level creation, stories and Total Conversions set during the Old Republic era or in the Star Wars Universe.

Sound extremely terrible on a moral/nostalgic level, and, not that great of an idea, on a more practical and lore idea. I don't recall any of star wars using Wookiee fur as coats, except mabye the trandoshans, which are a strange culture. But, it also sounds like a funny idea for a mod, albeit far-fetched. 

@DarthParametric Does Mira enter the academy before the Exile? Why not make the Exile stumbled upon the Corpse of Hanhar and find the robes that way, though I must admit that doesn't really make much sense as fur coats do need to be *made* and all.

@jc2 Yeah, this idea wasn't an actual Star Wars inspired thing but rather me randomly thinking of this idea and then immediately laughing out loud because of how dark yet funny it is and the fact that it could actually work as a mod. 

It sounds like an incredible funny idea, but I don't think you could really implement it into the game all that well. A simple reskin of the jedi robe would just look mediocre no matter what, so probably a new model would be effective. I don't think anyone's up for it...

I wonder if it might work better as a video series?

@Sith Holocron I imagine it actually would work as a video series though as these blogs would be somewhat short in a video perhaps I should make up a list of cut content and read all of them out in a video (A video which would obviously show as much cut content and allow the viewer to hear the cut lines of course)

I was gonna say, Windows is probably being stupid. Your phone should also have tethering capability, so you can use it's connection to the wi-fi and still be fine. I intended to post this when I saw yours, but I forgot about it.

@djh269 Revan wouldn't of known Zez, Vash or Kavar in K1. I 'could' make a third option for this but until porting becomes slightly easier I wouldn't be able to pull it off myself. 

@Sith Holocron One of the many consequences of not playing TSL for a while.

Would it make sense for the masters who so adamantly opposed Revan and the Mandalorian Wars, be at that battle and that ceremony? Does the timing make sense? Does the motivation of the characters make sense? Would they be there supporting Revan? I don't think they would. They clearly blamed Revan for many things despite his redemption, I would argue their bitterness kept them from participating in a Republic military ceremony... their presence would not be required.

I know what you mean jc2, but I believe the more hardcore believers in the order wouldn't of been at the ceremony, especially Vrook, but I think the more liberal jedi like Vandar would definitely be there. 

But he did save the galaxy so there is that.

It doesn't include a TLK file, no. It presumably relies on the one TSLRCM uses.

Convert2DA is probably the one you are thinking of-Kex. The original GUI-based one converts to and from tab-delimited text, which allows you to do the editing in a spreadsheet program like Excel, etc.  It's still available at - https://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php  or the direct link - https://www.starwarsknights.com/mtools/Convert2da.rar

There's also a commandline tool, also called Convert2DA, included as part of the Xoreos Tools. It convert to and from CSV or ASCII 2DA (i.e. basically space-delimited text). Available from Github - https://github.com/xoreos/xoreos-tools/releases

I have an experimental app that can edit 2da files. PM me if you want to test it out
