Just to let you all know, if you were as confused about where the Steam Workshop mod downloads go to, it's: Steam/Steamapps/workshop/content Depending on how many games you have on Steam that you have subscribed mods with, you could have either a few or several folders, all of which are named as a series of random numbers. You'll have to figure out which folder has the mod contents you want. I hate the steam workshop cause of this, so I just copied and pasted all of the Steam Workshop files for this mod into the appropriate folders like normal.
  2. Considering that even experienced modders can have a real pain in doing that, I wouldn't put yourself that low. MDLops can really suck sometimes.
  3. But that's the point, with the codes, a fast ship would have been unnecessary. Any ship would have done. Just put in the codes and you're good to go. Regardless, there's nothing wrong with getting the codes before being on Canderous' side. Ships weren't readily available on Taris, remember? "They impounded all of my ships and swoop-bikes" is what the Upper City merchant said. Ships were likely a valuable commodity few could get in the first place. Where'd you get one in the Upper City let alone lower? Needing to progress in the story to get the Ebon Hawk at some point still works. The only question is, are there cut Canderous lines that discuss how you already broke into the base prior to him introducing his plan to become partners? It'd be weird for him to immediately suggest that they break into Davik's without having formed any sort of alliance prior.
  4. Anything Mark Twain is great. My personal favorite is the Mysterious Stranger and Huckleberry Finn If you want something non-fictional but science oriented, try The Self-Aware universe or Science Set Free.
  5. I chose the PS4 over the Xboner, but I cannot deny Microsoft's BC policy absolutely kick's Sony's greedy ass out of the park. I love how their willing to port and enhance even original Xbox games like Kotor. Really, it just looks like the PC version with the Xbox hud design.

      The idea of Vitiate screwing up the Sith could have worked without the game having all of the problems I discussed previously.

      Why should criticizing their designs be considered nit picking? It's all we've got of them. Whether it be concept art or in game designs, I just don't like their messy designs. All we had of Kotor designs for a while was their in game designs and some concept art.

      Revan's story in TOR is ok. I got some problems with it, but it's alright....

      Funny thing is that Vitiate is the one I have most grudge against. Also, those shoulder pads ARE insane. I keep wondering how they get through doors with them.

  7. That last image looks like something you'd fight in BloodBorne. Kotor model glitches are some of the most terrifying things in a game I've ever seen.

      Yes it is. I actually got the installer all finished (with no errors running it!) this last weekend... But the hard drive physically failed literally the next morning. :( :( :( So I need to re-do the installer from scratch, again. *sigh*

  9. Lol, the EA blackhole continues to suck good companies away into the void. Not even Nihilus could consume and destroy as fast as EA can. Andrew Wilson should just have the title of "Darth" from now on.
  10. I hate overpowered mod items in Kotor. Brotherhood of Shadow looks fun, but I'll probably end up weakening dozens of items in Kotortool if I download it again.

      That doesn't mean I need a set of light armor from Czerka that turns me into a hulk. BOS isn't really that hard. The only time I thought it was tough was during the stealth part with the droid and Shadow's visions, all of which limit you to only a handful of items and whatever you find. Solomon's fight may have been a little tough, but nothing unbeatable.

  11. I was more curious about his cape animations and such. He was given the fighting animations Malak had (or lack thereof), but the model itself still has it's own exclusive animations that weren't borrowed from Malak.

  13. I've been away from Kotor for too long, these new droid models will be a great way to play the game again. I love all of the variety in these high quality models.
  14. Holy sh*t, you're spending some $3000 on a NASA build so you can play Kotor at 1000FPS? All the power to you, but you could spend probably 1/3 of what you're paying for all of that and get a build that can play all of those games at max settings with 60-120FPS and several graphical mods.
  15. EDIT: Aaaaaaaand barely a few minutes before my post, DP basically confirms the similarity. This made my laugh and I'm not completely certain why. Anyway, It's definitely a good quality base model of Luke. Looks very similar to Toshi's Jedi Academy model of Luke.
  16. So in Kotor 1 Restoration, when you convince Hurka to take you past the guards after opening the bridge door, are you supposed to be teleported directly behind the airlock next to the room with the Dark Jedi or is my game glitching on me?

  17. Theoretically speaking, would it be possible for a version of TSLRCM + M4-78 to be ported to the Xbox version of TSL? I'm curious since I've seen alpha maps of M4-78 and the HK factory work on it.

      Well, if an xbox version of TSLRCM and M4-78 was made, then yes. The big problem has always been that the MDL format is different on xbox, so it was impossible to get any models to work. This will be possible in the future though, so theoretically speaking, yes :)

      I just looked up some of the restrictions, which include the inability of using custom mdl/mxl files, textures higher than 256x256 and usually any MOD files. What do you mean it'll be possible in the future?

      Are you talking about utc's? If your kotor tool detects the correct registry paths for k1 and tsl it should detect custom appearances

      Enable the option for it to use the Override folder and it will pull data from any custom appearance.2da, etc.

  21. Why not just remove all of the UTP files and the MOD file from the mod? Should take care of that, right?
  22. To be honest, this looks far more different than it looks similar to it's predecessor. The first game was fun, but hardly resembled the original battlefront games (IMO). This game looks much more similar to Battlefront II 2005. Honestly, it looks really similar in gameplay to the original Battlefront 3 build that was cancelled years ago. I'm also getting some Battlefield 1 vibes from this.
  23. So that's how you did it... I was wondering how you were able to match every UTI to the player's appearance. You didn't need to do that for the male players?
  24. If you or a group of people manage to get Bandon's armor working properly in Kotor 1 with all heads visible, that would easily be my mod of the decade. Trying to get Bandon's armor to be compatible has always been a pain. Every single mod that was released in the past that gave you the armor never worked (mainly cause the modders really had no idea how 2da files worked) so I had to make my own set. The best I've bothered to do is get one head fully working with the armor. That's without having replaced another armor model. Now that I think about it, it should be possible, but that would require adding in every individual head/model type in the appearance.2da and heads.2da, right? Ughhhhh In TSL, it's considerably easier because you could just replace the Star Forge robes model and no one would really care since that model never appears in the game normally. You have a really impressive female rescaling of the Bandon model here. If it was ported over to TSL, we'd basically have a perfect set of Bandon armor for that game.
