  1. Recruitable Redhawke

    Part of the...

    Author : RedHawke 08/05/04 V1.4
    Updated: Deadlystream 2/25/2020 V1.4i
    ============================================================================
This recruit mod allows for the recruiting of a new character "RedHawke" into your KOTOR party.
This recruit mod has several recruit mod innovations built in, this mod allows the user to pick which NPC they wish to replace, this function is not easy to do, but I think it is well worth it, most KOTOR recruitable NPC mods usually fix who is replaced, but this one does not, and this mod also has an exit fot the NPC at a pre-determined point.
I hope you all enjoy the Mod!

This pack include's 7 lightsabers that were all concieved by the various creative minds of the people at The Holowan Labs at www.lucasforums.com, and with the suggestions of several of the people there Maverick187 created 7 lightsabers, each with their own unique custom stats, hilt, blade colors, and each saber has their creators specified unique histories. It also Includes a little extra backstory for my Recruitable RedHawke Mod listed above, including her special sabers.

    0. A boatload of thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the awesome and simple to use kotor editing tool.
    1. HUGE thanks goes out to all of the people at the Holowan Labs for everything from help with these sabers to intially teaching me how to mod this game.
    2. Big thanks goes out to Fred Tetra for his great KotOR tool and also tk102 for all of his very useful tools such as KSE and many source codes and such, also thanks goes out to Darth333 for making the warpband  which made some testing a bit easier.
    3. Lots of thanks goes out to svösh for letting me use his custom shader for some of the lightsaber hilts amongst other things, svösh has been a great help to me in many mods.
    4. Of course thanks goes out to the people whom suggestede all of the sabers, ReLoaD2K, MattColejk, Emperor Pangasa, Omega-X, LukeKatarn, and PrtyLizardJedi.
    5. Finally the guy who actually deserves most of the credit for this saber pack, RedHawke, whom put all of the sabers into the game where they were suggested to go and did so very sucessfully and also included some custom sabers of his own, without RedHawke this saber pack would not be possible.

  3. CaptainSkye's "Skye's Armor Expansion Mod"

    Part of the...

    WHAT IT DOES:

This mod simply adds to the supply of armor/robes in SW: KOTOR. It adds 21 new items (15 new armors, 6 new robes, 1 bonus item) to the game.
Each robe/armor has been placed appropriately somewhere in the game. Some items will show up multiple times throughout the game, while others will only be available in one location.
Some items you will not be able to receive unless

you play certain quests or visit certain planets in the right sequence.

    ***************************************************************************************

    INSTALLATION:

Just place all files into your override folder (this may take a while, but its worth the wait). No .2da files have

been used in this mod, and I believe it will comply with all other mods. If not, please PM me on Lucasforums.com and I will

re-release the mod, upgraded to fit in with any mod that it cannot work with.

    ****************************************************************************************

    UNINSTALL:

If you have KMM, I have included a .kmm file with this mod. If not, I suggest keeping the original mod folder, and when you're done with the mod, copy and past all the things into Override, overwrite the ones already there, and then

(while they are all still highlighted) right-click them and click "delete".

  4. Agent Xim's Korriban Crystal Cave

    Part of the...

    Description:
Dantooine has a crystal cave and all Korriban gets is Shyrack caves and a bunch of tombs?  Problem solved!  Now Korriban has its very own, brand-new cave full of crystals... and a couple critters too!

In the back of the Shyrack Caves, there's a passage... a passage to the inhospitable surface AND an access tunnel to the crystal cave. You'll be given the option of taking the side passage or backing away once you get to the passage.

Beware of the Deathadder Kinrath! Hack and Slash your way through a pile of Kinrath on steroids. Then, if you turn your attention to the recently deceased Dark Jedi Master's remains, you'll find a couple items that may help you on your way...

    Installation:

    Run Korriban Crystal Cave Install.exe

    Enjoy!

    Agent Xim

    Changes to v1.1

    - New texture for Deathadder Kinrath

    - Updated to use TSLPatcher for installation

  5. Viridian Mantle of the Force & Cyan Heart of the Guardian (Optional Silver Heart of the Guardian)

A simple mod I've wanted to do for a while but just learned how to. Replaces the Mantle of the Force's colour with KOTOR 2's Viridian and swaps the Heart of the Guardian's colour for the Mantle/Cyan. Simply place the files into the override.

  6. [K1] Darth Revan from SWTOR soundset (as performed by UnusualCharacters)

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 23 AUG 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:

So . . . have you felt that the non-descript voice actor for Knights of the Old Republic 1 male player character didn’t sound enough like Revan in SWTOR?  Here’s a new player character sound set that UnusualCharacters recorded for us in style of Revan from the SWTOR.  The lines as written are exactly the same as the original written for the most part.  When noted below, the original line was missing in the game so I asked UnusualCharacters to improvise.

Lock Picking: Player is making the attempt unlock the lock box or door
    p_plyermw_block1            Got it.
    p_plyermw_block2            No problem.
    p_plyermw_block3            Right.

    Critical hit achieved.
p_plyermw_crit1            Ha! He’ll feel that for sure!
    p_plyermw_crit2            That hurt I bet.
p_plyermw_crit3            You won’t be getting up from that any time soon!

    Mines: Disarming.
    p_plyermw_dmin1            That one’s a dud.
    p_plyermw_dmin2            OK, it’s disabled.
    p_plyermw_dmin3            Mine disabled.

Lock Picking: Player fails the attempt unlock the lock box or door
    p_plyermw_flock1            Damn!
    p_plyermw_flock2            Didn’t work.
    p_plyermw_flock3            Damn it!

    Mines: Arming a Mine.
p_plyermw_lmin1            One surprise trip coming up.
p_plyermw_lmin2            Whoever stands on this will get a nasty shock.
    p_plyermw_lmin3            Mine placed.

Player has low health and needs medical attention.
p_plyermw_low1            [groan] I’m in a lot of pain right now.
p_plyermw_low2             I should get help for my wounds.
    p_plyermw_low3            I’m hurt badly.

Player has just received medical attention.
p_plyermw_med1            [sound of relief] This should patch things up.
    p_plyermw_med2             This should help.
p_plyermw_med3             That’s better.  [new improvised line]

    Player has been poisoned.
p_plyermw_pois1            [groan] I think something got me sick.
    p_plyermw_pois2            [groan] I think I’ve been poisoned.
p_plyermw_pois3            [groan] I think something is in my system.

    The party is regrouping.
    p_plyermw_rprty1            Everyone’s back again!
p_plyermw_rprty2            OK, let’s get going again.
p_plyermw_rprty3            We can get back together now.

Player character has been selected via the menu.
    p_plyermw_slct1            Yeah?
    p_plyermw_slct2            Yes?
    p_plyermw_slct3            What?
    p_plyermw_slct4            Hmm?
    p_plyermw_slct5            Sure.
p_plyermw_slct6            All right.  [new improvised line]
    p_plyermw_slct7           What?
    p_plyermw_slct8            Right.

    Lock Picking: Success.
    p_plyermw_slock1            Opened.
    p_plyermw_slock2            Got it.
    p_plyermw_slock3            Done.

Main Character is going into solo mode.
p_plyermw_sprty1            I need to go alone for a bit.
    p_plyermw_sprty2            We’ll just separate for a bit.
p_plyermw_sprty3            Let me go on alone for a bit.

Player is looking out for something.
    p_plyermw_srch1            I won’t miss a thing.
p_plyermw_srch2            If there’s something there, I’ll find it.
p_plyermw_srch3            Nothing will get by me.

    Stealth mode activated.
    p_plyermw_stlh1            Not even a whisper.
    p_plyermw_stlh2            I’ll avoid what I can.
    p_plyermw_stlh3            Silent and deadly.

The weapon used by player character is either broken or inefficient in current attack.
    p_plyermw_tia1            It’s not doing anything.
p_plyermw_tia2            My weapon isn’t doing anything.
    p_plyermw_tia3            I need a better weapon.

This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me.

    Installation:

You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.

    1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them.  (I recommend you place a new folder on your desktop to make your life easier.)  Those files you're looking for will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.

    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.

Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful.

“I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!”

    Uninstall:
Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

    Special Thanks:
This mod would not have happened if not for @UnusualCharactersgenerosity of performing the voice overs,  Thanks, UC!

  7. [K1] SWTOR Vette - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 JAN 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:
Now your (female) character in KotOR1 can sound like the character “Vette” from SWTOR.
Vette is the first companion you acquire as the Sith Warrior in SWTOR.  If the character sounds just like Mission from KotOR and acts like her too, that might be because they’re voiced by the same voice actress!  This fact enabled me to use lines from both KotOR and SWTOR.  Seeing that someone has been ruthlessly insisting on multiple hues of Twi’leks recently, I figured I’d head that request off before it came up.
Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios.  You'll have to let me know in the review section below.  (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.)  Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if you wish to put them in your review.

  8. [K1] DarthVarkor’s Dann Kasra “Before the Reveal” - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 3 MAR 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:
If you’ve seen DarthVarkor’s series, perhaps you might have considered making your character sound like his.  With this mod for KotOR1, now you can.
I asked DarthVarkor to record all of the lines that the PC says.  He even threw in a couple of extra takes (“p_plyermw_slct9 (improvised extra) and “p_plyermw_stlh4”) as his character might be more likely to say the lines that way. You could rename those lines to replace the normal lines if you do desire. If you decide to do that, be sure not include the original line you’ll be replacing.
As his series’ main character hasn’t had the spoiler-laden reveal in this sound set, he’s not wearing a mask so there’s no filter here.
This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. 1) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them.  (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.
    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.

  9. [K1] Dann Kasra - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 02 MAR 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:
If you’ve seen DarthVarkor’s series, perhaps you might have considered making your character sound like his main character.  With this mod for KotOR1, now you can!
I asked DarthVarkor to record all of the lines that the PC says in the standard game.  He even threw in an few extra take (“p_plyermw_rprty3 (alt take)”) as his Revan (a/k/a Dann Kasra) would be more likely to say the line that way.  As his series’ main character has turned to the dark side in this sound set, he’s already wearing the mask so there’s an appropriate filter here.

    -----------------
You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.
    1) First decide if you’ll be using the original lines or the alternate takes described above.  Delete the files of what you’re replacing and rename the replacements accordingly
    2) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them.  (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.
    3) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.

Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove especially helpful.

  11. JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K1

    Summary
This mod replaces the lightsaber blade textures. I've made new textures using Saber, a plug-in for After Effects made by visual effect artists who work on the actual films, which they released for free on VideoCopilot.net. The new textures are of higher quality (1024x1024 vs the original 128x128) and should be more accurate to the movie look, given that they were generated with a tool made by movie people.
I've adjusted some of the blade colors; I mainly used math to choose them, placing them at even distributions along the color spectrum, and sticking with the plug-in's default setting for blue. In more practical terms, this means yellow is a bit yellower, while green and violet are closer to the blue end. Blue itself is much brighter than the original.
I've also included some alternate texture options:
    Brighter Green
The Brighter Green alternate texture is more in line with Luke's lightsaber as it is depicted in Return of the Jedi.
    Darker Blue
The Darker Blue alternate texture is more in line with the original game color and blue lightsabers as they are depicted in Revenge of the Sith.
    Heart & Mantle
There are two for the Heart of the Guardian and Mantle ofthe Force colors. The default is my approximation of the original game textures, while the alternate option has them changed to look more like standard lightsaber blades since I had to do them anyway for the K2 version. Heart becomes orange and Mantle becomes cyan, if you choose this option.

    Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Copy the files from Override to your own Override folder (if you don't have one, make one). Optionally, copy whatever files you want to use from the Alternate Textures folder to your Override folder, replacing the previously-installed files.
    Uninstallation
    Remove the installed files.
    Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with any mods that add or alter lightsaber hilts, assuming the use the orginal game textures for the blades.
This mod is not compatible with other mods that alter the lightsaber blade textures, including my own past mods.

HD Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge (BoS:SR) Portraits
for Knights of the Old Republic
v1.0 - 20200119 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user)

This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for the characters in the Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge modification. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints:
Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used Because the playable characters can constitute a spoiler for the BoS:SR mod, I've put the list of characters and a combined preview image in the following Spoiler:
Thanks to Silveredge9 for the blanket approval to use assets from his mods, without which I could not have released this package.
If you are not using Silveredge9's Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge modification, this modification will not change your game in any way. You should though, because it's really rather good.

  13. HD NPC Portraits

    HD NPC Portraits
for Knights of the Old Republic
v2.0 - 20200119 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user)

This modification adds high resolution rendered portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 256x the resolution of the 64x64 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, expressions, colors, and lighting of the vanilla portraits as closely as possible given the following constraints:
Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are quite low-res, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and material properties, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers.
It also includes 1K versions of the darkened placeholder portraits before you meet characters in-game.

    BONUS
There's a portrait for Trask Ulgo, because why not. Also I've included additional alternative non-vanilla expressions for Mission & Jolee because I don't care for their vanilla expressions.

  14. HD PC Portraits

    HD PC Portraits
for Knights of the Old Republic
v1.0 - 20190909 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user)

This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for player characters (PCs). All 30 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 5 light-dark variants, for a total of 150 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 256x the resolution of the 64x64 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints:
Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used A couple face textures had the eye in the wrong place and had to be fixed I reduced the number of background gradients to a set of 4 standards. The originals are all over the place in terms of the gradients and I didn't have time to replicate every one. An effort was made to match each individual set of portraits to its appropriate set of background gradients. While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers.
See the included images in preview/ for an idea of how the portraits look.

  15. JC's Robe Adjustment for K1

    Summary
This mod adjusts the way the player acquires Jedi robes during their training on Dantooine. There are two parts, which can be installed individually or together:
     Apprentice Robes:
The player will be equipped with Apprentice Robes as soon as they begin their training (in the montage). The Apprentice Robes look like brown Jedi Robes, but have the stats of Basic Clothing, so this is merely an aesthetic change. These robes have no prerequisites and can be worn by all humanoids in the party, regardless of Jedi class. Early Jedi Robes:
Master Zhar will reward the player with Jedi Robes once they have chosen their Jedi class and constructed their lightsaber (i.e. as soon as they have the prerequisite to equip robes). Originally, he only granted them after all the trials were completed. The early access will allow you to wear robes in combat during the final trial. Installation
Run Robe_Adjustment_K1.exe. Select which version to install.
    a) Apprentice Robes
    b) Early Jedi Robes
    c) Both a) and b). Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility
This mod overrides the scripts k_pdan_jedi17, k_pdan_zhar03, and k_pdan_zhar06. It may not be compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi training portion of the game.

  16. Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement

In the vanilla version of the game there was a quest on Manaan which inolved you becoming a lawyer for an ex-Republic soldier who had supposedly murdered a Sith. This, if you followed it far enough, would eventually lead you to investigating around the embassies of both the Republic and the Sith. When you found some evidence, it was presented in the form of text, though referred to as a video by said text. I have taken this text and turned it into a video (a cutscene) showing the events which the text described.

  17. JC's Mandalorian Armor for K1

    Summary
This mod adjusts the wearable Mandalorian armor items to make their appearances consistent with that of other Mandalorians in the game and to fix various other oddities associated with them.
The main part of the mod concerns the Class 9 Mandalorian armors (Mandalorian Battle Armor, Mandalorian Heavy Armor, and Mandalorian Assault Armor). These items will now follow the usual blue/red/gold ranking system. There are two options for this:
With Option A, the armors use the Class 9 model. Mandalorian Heavy Armor and Mandalorian Assault Armor are given new textures, recolored red and gold variants of the Mandalorian Battle Armor. With Option B, the armors act as disguise items, giving the wearer one of the NPC Mandalorian appearances. Both options also include the following:
Class 9 Mandalorian armors have new icons to match their appearance with each option Class 8 Mandalorian Armor has a new icon with the correct appearance (previously it looked purple) The Mandalorian helmet plot items have new icons to match their appearances (previously they were both blue, even though neither was dropped by a blue Mandalorian) The Mandalorian Commander on Kashyyyk drops Mandalorian Heavy Armor to match his red appearance (also, I believe this item couldn’t be found anywhere in the game before) Finally, there is a third Extra Textures option with texture overrides for the NPC Mandalorians (and disguise appearances). They tone down the shaders a bit, matching what I did with my Shader Fixes for K2. They can be installed alongside Option A or B.
    Installation
Run Mandalorian_Armor_K1.exe. Select which version to install.
    a) With Option A, Class 9 Mandalorian armors are recolored to match their usual ranking system (blue/red/gold).
    b) With Option B, Class 9 Mandalorian armors act as disguise items, giving the wearer one of the NPC Mandalorian appearances (blue/red/gold) with full body armor. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). The Extra Textures can be installed alongside either Option A or B. If you want to install these, run the EXE again, select the Extra Textures option, then install to your game directory as before. Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility
This mod replaces the unused PFBH07/PMBH07 texture variations and uses plot usable item variation 111.
Some users have experienced side effects after prolonged exposure to disguise items. It may result in a character's appearance being permanently changed. There is no confirmed prevention method at this time, but it can be treated via editing the save game file.
If Option A is installed, it will overwrite any other alterations to the Mandalorian Assault Armor. Currently, TSLPatcher cannot remove nodes from files, so a hard edit was necessary to remove the disguise property.

  18. [K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix

[K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix

Lights are always nice in a dark places. Though it'd be nicer to know where it came from...

    What Happened?
Inside the Temple Main Floor, there are rooms with source of lights that comes from nowhere. I was terrified... thought at first they're missing the GIT reference for the placeables, appears they're not, as they're not placeables. With second thought, perhaps they're missing their render flag? Again, no lamp meshes with the room model as pointed by DarthParametric. Apparently, they are missing their lamps which caused by missing references for the objects. In essence, the lamp is not part of the room model nor a placeable, instead a reference model called by the room's.

    What Does This Mod Do?
This mod adds the missing reference for the lamps to four of the rooms inside the Temple Main Floor module. Optionally, it can also readjust the facing point of two Rune Covered Pillars inside one of the room, which I think could improve the aesthetics and immersion that's missing from the original setup.
Here's a before-and-after screenshots of what this mod mainly does -
And the optional that readjust the pillars' facing point -

    What Can You Do?
There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod.

    What You Should Do?
For best experience with the game itself, I suggest you to have KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
Uninstallation: remove these files from the Override folder -
m44aa_04a.mdl m44aa_04a.mdx m44aa_05a.mdl m44aa_05a.mdx m44aa_15a.mdl m44aa_15a.mdx m44aa_17a.mdl m44aa_17a.mdx Compatibility: will not be compatible with mods that edits and/or replace the relevant models, also mods that possibly changes the module layouts/LYT
The mod can be installed anytime - anywhere as the game's progress, and will have direct effect instantly
It is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version
Redistribution: you can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites, just don't claim it as your own. Though I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. Be advised then, most likely I will not provide ones if I don't know where it re-hosted.
If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. Inside this mod are resources which can be repurposed for your likings in one condition; please include the unmodified-original sources along with the release of the project. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included.
Said and done, give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them this enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

    Summary
The Harbinger, the Hammerhead-class ship in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, has a distinctively different appearance from that of Republic ships in the first game.

Copy the files from the mod directory Override to your game's Override folder (if you don't have one, make one).
    Uninstallation
    Remove the installed files.

This license applies to everyone equally and no further explicit permission from the original mod creator is required, provided the terms of this license are followed.
The user must provide clear attribution for the source and creator(s) of these materials, following the specified attribution preference. The file that contains this attribution must be included along with all the other mod contents.
(For example, crediting the original mod creator in your mod's description on a website, but not in any file someone would actually download, would be a violation.) The user must include any additional credits as indicated. This license applies only for the use of these materials in other mods (i.e. a form of software accessed within a video game). This license does not grant the user unlimited power to distribute these contents, edited or unedited, even if attribution is granted. These materials are being offered to encourage the creation of new mods that alter the game experience.
(For example, distributing these materials as a mod resource on another website, or uploading the entirety of the mod as a "new" mod without really changing anything, would not be in the spirit of this license.) Where appropriate, it would be nice to provide a link to the original mod and/ or tag the original mod creator. However, this is not mandated. This is just a polite suggestion.
    Ported Content License (PCL)
This mod contains ported assets. The original source of these assets must be attributed in the same manner as the mod creator is.
(For example, "This mod contains assets ported from Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic II - The Sith Lords by Obsidian Entertainment.")

    Donations
If you enjoy my mods and would like to show your support in a monetary manner, you may do so via PayPal with this donation link.
For various legal and ethical reasons, this is entirely optional and is not a requirement to downloading or using any of my mods. I also do not create specific mods for hire.
I make mods as a hobby and will most likely do so regardless of any donations or lack thereof, but modding does take up a lot of my time and every bit helps.

  22. [K1] Legends - Elder Droid's Unique VO

This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition.

    # Background #
It was one fine evening when I take a walk inside the Elder's Settlement. I wonder how them droids sounds like, and then... why do they sounded like T3?
So I wanted to experience something else, then I remember back in the Ancient Ruins of Dantooine there was a similar droid there that has something different with it. Apparently it was speaking Rakatan's language that the PC did not recognized. I decided that I had to incorporate that with the droid then, hence the making of this mod.

    # About this Mod #
This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. The sound was made using an inverted Rakatan's voice-over with added droid-like filters on top of it. By concept it gave an idea that the droids were speaking an epitome of language that the PC did not understand [in Bastila's voice], resulting in addition of changing the spoken line of the droids. It also changes the bubble-bark conversation to a cinematic one.
For a distinctive look at what the mod does, here is the preview -

    # Final Remarks #
There's always room for improvements; critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.
Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!
Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
    Uninstallation:
Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu Additionally you may want to remove eb_elderdrd_ANGM.wav from the streamwaves folder Compatibility:
For maximum compatibility, install this mod at the latter stage of your mod's build Will not be compatible with any mods that hard-overwrite the Elder Settlement/unk_m42aa module Pay attention to the patcher's warning messages upon installing the mod. If it tells you that it found an instance of k_hdroid1_dialog.dlg and unk42_elddroidXYZ.utc in the Override folder, then there might be a compatibility issue indeed For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Elder Settlement [unk_m42aa] module
The mod is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version
Redistribution: do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them the enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this lil' peasant work here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

  24. Sith Soldier Texture Restoration

While working on the K1CP I discovered that there are actually three different Sith soldier textures. There's the red and the silver that we're all used to, but there's also a white one that is unused. This restores the white texture into the game. You have the option to either make the standard troopers white and the elite/command troopers silver, or vice-versa.

INSTALL: Run the installer and select either Main OR Alternate.
I recommend installing this AFTER the KOTOR 1 Community Patch and JC's Korriban: Back in Black if you use them.

PERMISSION: I give anyone permission to do whatever the heck they want with this, whether or not they give me credit. (Although credit is always nice, y'know?)

  25. K1 Lite Upgrader

Note: An improved version of this is included in the KOTOR Community Patch starting with version 1.8

Throughout KOTOR 1 there are many models that are "lite" versions. Low-poly and low-res textures in order to help older computers. Since most computers can handle it fine now, this mod upgrades all possible lite models to full-res models/textures. (There are a few models that only have "lite" versions, and obviously nothing can be done).
Here's a list of all the models affected by this mod:
All Lite Commoner models (22 in total)
    Lite Jawa
    Lite Protocol Droid 01
Lite Protocol Droid 02 (No new model, but an upgraded texture)
    Lite Rakata 01
    Lite Republic Officer Male White
    Lite Republic Officer Female White
    Lite Selkath 01
    Lite Sith Female Officer
    Lite Sith Male Officer
    Lite Sith Soldier
    Lite Swoop Gang 01
    Lite Twilek Female
    Lite Twilek Male
    Lite Wookie Male
    Lite Wookie Female

Note: if you're planning to use the Sith Soldier Texture Restoration alternate installation, install this mod first.

    Recommended mods:
JC's Dense Aliens for K1 - ports a couple of the full-res models from K2 into the Lite models of K1. High Quality Spaceman - Improves the texture of the lite spaceman model
I give permission to anybody to do whatever they like with this mod, with or without credit (but I mean c'mon...cool internet points, right guys?)
