*********************************** Knights of the Old Republic *********************************** TITLE: A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World (1.1) AUTHOR: LDR FILENAME: ldr_repshipunknownworld FILESIZE: 176 MB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- There are 2 available methods of installing A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World. The standard installation method is done entirely though TSL Patcher, and doesn’t require you to do anything beyond simple button clicking. The manual installation is for those unable, for whatever reason, to use TSL Patcher, and involves the copying and pasting of files from folder to folder. NOTE: With the standard installation method, this mod is far more likely to work alongside any other mods you may currently have installed, which may not be the case should you use the manual installation method. I have attempted naming files in a way where there should be a minimum chance of mod conflicts, but you never know. This mod also has an "Optional" installation meant to use in conjuction with either/both of SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. To uninstall, remove the files from their respective folders in the SWKotOR directory. ------------------------------ » STANDARD INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 2) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 3) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. ------------------------------ » MANUAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Open up the tslpatchdata folder. 2) Copy all files with a .wav extension and paste into the streamwaves folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 3) Copy all files with a .mod extension and paste into the modules folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 4) Copy everything else (With exception to changes.ini and info.rtf) and paste into the override folder located in your SWKotOR directory (If there isn't one, create one). ------------------------------ » OPTIONAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Additional install options have been provided for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. 2) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 3) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 4) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. --------------- Mod Permissions --------------- You may not use any assets of this mod in your own mod without first contacting me. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ This mod adds 6 new modules, 9 new items (3 equippable inventory, 4 datapads, 2 keycards) on the Unknown World, making the crashed Hammerhead explorable. You must have a save before setting foot on the Unknown World. -------------------------------------------------- » Version 1.1 Changes -------------------------------------------------- - Fixes a bug where the party was prevented from spawning in during the confrontation on the beach on a DS playthrough following completing the Temple. - Corrects reported spelling/gramatical errors. - Integrates optional install paths through TSLPatcher for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. ----- BUGS ----- Any mods that modify the unk_m41aa OnEnter script will be incompatible with this mod. "Frame Buffer Effects" turned off in the swkotor.ini results in audio logs without the blue camera effect. If you find any please post them in the comments or send me a direct message. I will address them as soon as I can. ------------------- » MODULE/ITEM NAMES ------------------- For this to work correctly in conjunction with your own mod, you must not use any within the following list as names for your custom module/item reskins. m41ae m41af 152unk 153unk m41ai m41aj LHC LHW Blaster Pistol template 020 Forearm Band template 019 Gauntlet template 019 ------------- Voice Acting ------------- DarthTyren as Medical Officer Audio Log Mellowtron11 as Engine Officer Audio Log Sith Holocron as Republic Captain Audio Log Zhaboka as Kolgrim ----------- Permissions ----------- Permission granted from Darth InSidious to use his alternative beach Hammerhead textures. Permission granted from DarthParametric to utilize his edited mdls from both his Endar Spire and Harbinger Hull Repair mods. Permission granted from SithSpecter to utilize integration for his High Quality Blasters for Modders resource and colored loadscreen templates mod. ========================= Lehon Mandalorian Expansion Description: On the Unknown World, a MANDALORIAN faction is established! Mandalorians speaking in Mando'a (Mandalorian languaged created by Karen Traviss in Legends) and wearing custom Mando'a Beskar'gam. An alternate way into the Temple. No longer are you dictated by the order of which faction you speak to first, speak to all factions, then decide who to save, redeem, or slaughter, until only one faction remains. Double-crossing applicable when deemed necessary by the player. Experience the culture of Mandalorians and their narrative of the Mandalorian War, or attack them on sight for their past warmongering. But know, that such actions do not come without consequences, and only the strongest may survive... The choice is yours, and the battle awaits! Three added side-quests! Quest logs, lore expanding loot, new Mando’a armor and NPCs, new battles, new consequences, new decisions, LS/DS opportunities, new Party Member interactions, a few RP secrets, new battle scenes, And an All New Lehon Experience… Trailer: https://youtu.be/C0TjGNTOfqY Installation: Slower internet LME Light version available, only difference is that the audio is only playable in game, in condensed .wav format. View File Redhawke's Exile's Item Pack Booster (Robe Pack) Author : RedHawke 06/17/05 V1.0a ============================================================================ This is simply an update to the Jedi Master and Sith Lord Robes you get in Maverick187 & My Prestiege Class Robe & Saber Pack we did, to make it compatable with the robe collar fix Svösh made, and ilikecommas made the default textures for. This will only be needed if you want to use the cool collar fix that Svösh made and ilikecommas made default textures for. This only affects the Padawan style Jedi Master and Sith Lord robes. The PrCl R&S Pack is available here: http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/10756.html ILC's Standard Robe Pack for use with Svösh's Robe Collar Fix is available here: http://www.pcgamemods.com/13033 You should be able to apply these changes at any time. Installation Instructions: (Being this is a booster pack it is a little more complicated than normal sorry about that) ----------------------------- If you have not allready done so, install the Prestiege Class Robe & Saber Mod, and ilikecommas Standard Robe Pack for use with Svösh's Robe Collar Fix. Unzip all 4 of the .tga files in the .rar, to your override directory and overwrite the originals. To use this robe fix you have to have ilikecommas 'Standard Robe Pack for use with Svösh's Robe Collar Fix' Installed, available at http://www.pcgamemods.com/13033 And of course the Prestiege Class Robe & Saber Pack, available at http://www.pcgamemods.com/10756 Uninstallation Instructions: ----------------------------- Simply delete these files from your override directory. Acknowledgements: ------------------------------------------------ A boatload of thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the awesome and simple to use kotor editing tool. To Svösh for fixing the dreadful Jedi Robe Collar problem. To ilikecommas for making the default robe textures so the fixed robes could be used by all, and allow us modders to release textures using the fixed model without needing to make the default textures ourselves. Also a very appreciative thanks to the many friendly and informative people at the Lucasforums Holowan Laboratories board who have shown and or helped me to learn how to do stuff like this. Description Just a little joke mod, made in imitation of the old Holowan Spire that Doom_Dealer made. On this one you can meet and interact with a few of the regulars on the DS forums. If it proves popular, I may expand it later on. Please don't be upset if I didn't include you. This is a joke mod, and it's meant in a spirit of fun. Installation Put 'deadlystream.mod' into your Modules folder. Do *NOT* put it in the Override. To get there in game, type "warp deadlystream" into the console and hit return. Uninstallation Remove the file again. Permissions You may not upload new versions of this mod without my permission. You may not upload this mod to other websites without my permission. You may not claim to be the author of this mod. Credits & Thanks Thanks to: - Hassat Hunter for spotting the bug in v1.0; - Doom_Dealer for the original Holowan Spire; - Fair Stride for help bugfixing, and for letting me bounce ideas off him; - DeadlyStream.com for being such a fun, nice place.
  10. Hey Kotorians (yes I want to make that a thing) – I am excited to be announcing a big update to the Kotor community. The short version is Deadlystream and /r/Kotor are moving forward with a merger of our communities. So what is happening? Immediately we will begin co-moderating Deadlystream and /r/Kotor. I am being added as mod to /r/Kotor and Snigaroo is joining Deadlystream as an admin, while Goat is joining as a moderator. We will be expanding staff cooperation in the coming months. Moderation of the /r/Kotor Discord will be shared and modding channels have already been added to the discord. This will become the official discord for Deadlystream going forward. Additionally, wee will also be cross-posting content across communities to encourage /r/Kotor subscriber engagement on Deadlystream and working on increasing modder participation on /r/Kotor. We hope these actions lead towards growth for both communities. What about rules? Each community will still have a unique set of rules, processes and procedures to follow. Deadlystream’s forum based community and the reddit community are very different beasts, each with a different need we fill for the community, our rules will never be 100% aligned but we will align where it makes sense. We will have more information announced over the coming weeks while Sniggles and I work on our integration ideas and planning. Speaking of rule updates, we do have two changes that will be implemented beginning today and they are as follows; · Our rule around porting of content being banned This rule is being replaced by the following rule: · Mods and Assets that are of the same game series (ie KoTOR 1, KoTOR2 and SWTOR) can be ported between games and uploaded to Deadlystream. Porting from other copyright game assets is not allowed, although any fan created content (even from other games) can be hosted at Deadlystream as long as there is no copyright on said mods, files and/or assets. You will still need to abide by all other mod hosting rules. -All mods submitted going forward will require all modder's to fill out 1 additional field, this field is called "Contains Port Content", it is filled out by selecting either yes or no from the drop down menu. -Any modder that has ported content will also be required to fill out a second field called, "Source of Ported Content", this will be a free text field that the modder can describe where his ported content is from. · Rule 19: "All content on Deadlystream must be uploaded by the original creator/owners of the content. Uploading content that is owned by someone else is strictly prohibited, unless explicit permission can be demonstrated by the uploader. If you are found to upload content that is owned by another person without explicit evidence of permission, the first offense will result in a warning via PM and removal of said content. Any additional infractions will result in a permanent ban. Deadlystream Staff will from time to time reach out to authors of content not currently hosted on Deadlystream to see if there is an interest in having their content uploaded to Deadlystream. This activity should only be performed by Deadlystream staff members." This rule is being changed/updated to: · "All content you upload must have been created by you or given permission for use in your mod by the original author. In the event that there is a mod (which you did not create) that needs to be uploaded for preservation to Deadlystream, the following will occur; - The community member will message a moderator via PM with the mod attached and any other information about the mod and about where you downloaded it from. - The admin will follow the “Guidelines for Re-uploading Abandonware Mods” (look for this in the coming days). - If admin sees that the mods meets the guidelines, admin shall upload said mod. - The uploaded mod will have a disclaimer stating “it is not actively supported and that responses to support requests should not be expected.” Please note: Removal of a mod upon request from verified mod authors will be honored, please reach out to an admin for assistance.” Snigaroo, myself and the rest of the staff are very excited about what the future holds for Kotor and our communities. This is only the beginning, there is much more to come. May the force be with all of us! -Tyvokka
  11. On behalf of members of Deadlystream community, We acknolwedge and honor the effort and dedication of a respected member of our community, Sith Holocron. As many of you know, Sith Holocron has been an admin on deadlystream for as long as many of us can remember. He recently announced his reitrement as of July 1st, 2018. Years and years of patiently handling and resolving conflict between modders, community members, moderators, and other admins, Sith Holocron went above and beyond the requirements of his position and actively sought out to create a friendly, constructive forum site. Often pointing forum members, through PM or forum posts, towards other members that would have the knowledge they sought. When I was new the forums, it was SH who pointed me towards certain members to ask about modding topics. Sith Holocron's outstanding management to maintain and uphold the Rules of Deadlystream, even when he may have personally disagreed with the rules, and, in some cases, when enforcing the rules was unpopular, stands as testament to his incredible dedication. Despite knowing that by his actions of enforcing unpopular rules and policies, he would put himself, personally, in the crossfire; he continually did so for the benefit of the community. Sith Holocron invested into the community in ways, many of us cannot presume to comprehend, as an administrator, and, to this day, as a member of the community. From critique and to praise, from engaging and encouraging modders to collaborate and create to reminding members of the DS policies, Sith Holocron influenced the establishment of countless mods. Here are a few of those mods: M4-78 Darth Sion and Male Exile Mod Lightsaber and Force Forms Want Kaah Gone Realistic Skybox fo Deathdisco's Coruscant Handmaiden and Female Exile - Kreia's Fall in HD with original Sound and music Star Map Revamp M4-78 Alternate SkyBox Pack 1.0 K1 Galaxy Map Fix Pack TSL Galaxy Map Fix Pack Ebon Hawk Model Fixes Recruitment of Master Atris M4-78 MOvies Remade Taibhrigh's Female Player Head Taibhrigh's PFHA04 Extended Enclave Dustil Restoration Telos Citadel Station Skybox G0-T0 Overhaul Dak's Armored Robes Trainable Disciple (Upcoming mod) Juhani Catlike Head Mod WE, as a community, are indebted to you SH for all the engagement, management, and innumberable hours you've put into Deadlystream. For over eight years of service towards our community, Thank you Sith Holocron!
  12. Guys, i was thinking now 20 minutes about this, and i'm sure that i want make with you the mod, you can submit suggestions, and i may take them, but they have to be realistic, not anything like "Revan Explodes anywhere in a Asteroid System, Because of nothing", I also need modellers for some new modules, map imager (making a minimap, idk how to call people who make that, sorry! ), Some Story Writes (They will work with me in private message) and some people, who can give me some tutorials (also in private message). I need also People who can make me the cutscenes If anyone is willing work with me on this mod, write it in the comments! My concept is, to build a mod up, which is quite easy, you start on Revan's Flagship's Bridge, and feel that Malak is trying to kill you by shoot on your bridge, how you felt it, you had a disturbance through the force, so you command your Admiral To Shoot Malak's Bridge. Then The Jedi Strike Team led by Bastila Shan is attacking you, you win, then you travel to Lehon and torture Bastila until she gives up, and being your apprentice and joins your Team. Then you have to conquer worlds, until the Republic attacks the Star Forge, where you get noticed by one of the other Admirals of another Interdictor, and you command your Navigator to Navigate to the Star Forge System, and if you defeated the Republic fleet, you have to travel to Coruscant, to finish the Republic and Jedis once and for all, you can command a Orbital Bombing on it, which would give you dark side points, or you say no, and get light side points. Also, you can Fight on the Star Forge against the Jedis if you desire to. So this is a long concept i know, it is much, because it was what i was thinking the whole time. Travelable Planets: Althir Alzoc III Balmorra Czerka 431 (Only on a Station like Yavin, to trade.) Dantooine (Orbital Bombardement Avaible) Dxun (You can try to trade and negotiate peace with the Mandalorians) (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Dromund Kaas (Maybe you want to overthrow the Sith Emperor) (Final Planet) Kashyyyk Hoth Iridonia Korriban Malachor V (No Porting) Manaan M4-78 (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Onderon (I don't want to port planet's Modules, we model them into K1 (Not Porting, thats not cool) Rodia Ryloth Sleyheron (Self-Modelling, the mod isn't done yet) Tatooine Taris (Quarantine? ) Yavin IV Now you may ask how you come on the planets, cuz landing a Interdictor is hard. Well this answer is fast Answered: by an Hearld-Class Transport (The Ones from Manaan) Party Members: Bastila (After Sucessful Torture) HK-47 (Never left ) Team Membs: SteiraGaming - Director Leader of KotOR - Malak Was Killed - Not Revan: A Fanon Story Mod. If you want, you can be part of this, you just have to write what job you want have, and that you join in the comments (I also accept PM). -Steira

For anyone else wishing to reach out to help Deadlystream, just do one (or more) of the following; get and stay active on the forums, review mods, create mods and just stay visible to our staff. In the coming weeks we will have a few new positions open up on Deadlystream and we will be accepting applications for these positions, so stay tuned!

16. Today I am excited to announce; 1.8.3 is released. M4-78EP's update is released. For some background, M4-78EP's release was 1 year and 3 months ago. It has been 1 year and 3 months since TSLRCM 1.8.2 was released. What an exciting few years it has been for us! KoTOR 2 is a little over 9 years old, but the modding community still runs strong. Give KOTOR2 a happy 10th birthday next year, it deserves it! Let me take this time to thank all our followers; All the people who made this possible, who downloaded our mod, gave us feedback and spread word of TSLCRM into the world, all of our fans who voted us 10th in mod of the year 2012 and honorary mod of 2013, and of course all of the fans looking forward to M4-78EP. Once of our proudest moments and maybe the best reward of all is how Chris Avellone (@ChrisAvellone) himself tweeted about our 1.8 release! To reminisce a little, this all started with the usual response to complaints about TSLRP, which was that people should make their own mod, then they could complain. 2 modders, Stoney and Zbyl2 (with help from Jinger and a few others), did just that. TSLRCM was first released to the public on 24 September 2009. The release was version 1.4 and was labeled as a public beta, being a playable mod with few to no game breaking bugs. 1.4 was improved by patches 1.4a, 1.4b, 1.4c, and 1.4d. At this point, animator Savvy30039 decided to contribute her lean animation to the restoration, which was included in 1.4d. On 15 march 2010 was the release of TSLRCM 1.5. A patch to the mod, 1.5a, was released shortly after to resolve some remaining bugs. Between 1.5 and 1.6 the development team was strengthened by Hassat Hunter (previously testing) and Varsity Puppet (previously some minor tweaks, now HK-Factory, Peragus and other areas). On June 24th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.6 was released, featuring various cut scene tweaks, dialog bug fixes and more. On October 16th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.7 was released, which features additional bug-fixes and other additions such as: the Visas-Nihilus movie using the in-game engine to play (rather than a pre-rendered BIK movie), Kreia's Battle for Telos Mod was integrated into the mod, the low-res BIK movies of the Dantooine battle replaced with in- game ones, and an improved dialog.tlk mod integrated/improved upon (for the English version.) Almost a year has passed, but work still continued on 1.8, which is the biggest TSLRCM release yet. It was released on 24 july 2012. On 28 December 2012, after a long period of development, finally M4-78EP saw the light, adding a full grand planet to explore and experience more KOTOR2 gameplay in, and actually talk with Vash herself(alive as well), explaining some critical details about force bonds to the player, meanwhile uncovering the events which took place just before the Exile's arrival. Let's talk TSLRCM 1.8.3. As you can expect with the time it took, its considerable bigger than 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 combined. Don't expect major leaps though, 1.8's done pretty much everything possible to the game, instead 1.8.3 is just fixing all the tiny little snippets of little bugs that dare pop up from time to time. And even though we have been at it quite some time, there apparently are still vanilla issues around only to be found now. Like how messed up all the sound sets on the Ravager were, truthfully I hope after 1.8.3 there will be no need for a 1.8.4. Now let us shift gears to the M4-78EP update; Unlike TSLRCM 1.8.3, this patch is more than that; it is a true update, rather than a bug fixing patch. While many issues have been resolved, most of its development time has been used up on making new content, adding to existing content, and completely overhauling certain endgame cut scenes. While the change list for M4-78EP is quite minor, please understand the KoTOR’s game engine (Odyssey) is quite a pain to mod most of the time, so remember a lot of time and effort went into these changes. This update will also be released today! However, all of this work we have put into TSLRCM and M4-78EP, was not just for us, but for the entire community. We want everyone to experience a fun, full and non-frustrating play through of KoTOR 2. That is why we spent so much time on KoTOR 2 and that is why these updates are dedicated to you, our fans and community. Thank you for all the support these last 5 years, it has been amazing. ~The TSLRCM and M4-78 crew Download TSLRCM 1.8.3 HERE! Download M4-78EP HERE! It's advised to completely re-install The Sith Lords before applying 1.8.3. Afterwards, you can install M4-78EP (patched), then any compatible mods you desire...
