MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 14 DEC 2021 UPDATED RELEASE: 20 DEC 2021 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 Description: In before the inevitable request… As I just put up a TSL logo texture mod up yesterday, here’s one for the original KOTOR. This is my attempt to bring the logo in line with modern standards. This texture is sized at 2048 by 2048 (yes, you read that correctly) so it should definitely be slightly crisper than the original. The original texture was sized at 256 by 256. Someone that shall remain nameless was inquiring about using my mod so they could extend the middle bar out to the end like the original menu logo did. I have done this. Additionally, the coloring on this “long bar” version was slightly de-saturated to more in mine with the original in-game logo. For those not keeping up . . . Short Bar Version: That’s the logo that you’ll see on the box art, the game discs, and the Prima Guide Book Long Bar Version: A variant version of the logo where the bar that contains “Of The” stretches to the end letters rather being nestled in the center between the large “K” and large “S” A reminder: this whole upload was originally a gag just so I could avoid taking a request in the future. Looks like the joke’s on me. Before modding (actual size): After (actual size of Short Bar version): After (actual size of Long Bar version): If you find the difference to be pleasing, please let me know in the comments. Installation: With more options, there inevitably comes a longer instruction section. First, choose which version you’ll be going with: Short Bar or Long Bar. That’s where you’ll be grabbing textures from. If you’re using an original version of KOTOR – that is you’re not using a widescreen mod (such as or UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “logo_sw_02.tga” file from the “Standard (Vanilla) Resolutions” sub folder from either the “Short Bar” folder or the “Long Bar folder” If you’re using KOTOR with either UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “logo_sw_02.tga” file from the “For those using Widescreen fixes” sub folder from either the “Short Bar” folder or the “Long Bar” folder. Uninstallation: Remove the TGA file from your Override folder. Delete it. Known Bugs: None known at this time. 3. Is he still updating the mod? He knows how to contact me if he is. And why would you want to have a downgraded version of the texture? :: shrugs :: I copied the format of the version included in TSLRCM. I could've easily placed it underneath the other text but no one else has made a complaint about the original logo before (AFAIK).

MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 13 DEC 2021 UPDATED RELEASE: 15 DEC 2021 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Description: As suggested by a Mod Request on DeadlyStream. When using one of my loading screen mods, they said they noticed that the logo now looked blurry by comparison. This is my attempt to bring the logo in line with modern standards. This texture is sized at 1024 by 1024 so it should be crisper than the original. In addition, the version number has been updated to the current one – 1.8.6. If you find the difference to be pleasing, please let me know in the comments. You want samples? I got some samples for ya right here! Original Vanilla Version My Version A few notes, once you extract files from the 7z file, you’ll see two folders. You’ll only be using one of these and for that you’ll want to consult the Instructions section below. This mod is compatible with DarthParametric's TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen if (and only if) you use my “kotor2logo.tga” file rather than the ones they provide. If you find the difference to be pleasing, please let me know in the comments. Installation: Remove the “kotor2logo.tga” that’s currently in your Override folder and place where you can find it later if needed. If you’re using an original version of TSL – that is you’re not using a widescreen mod (such as or UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “kotor2logo.tga” file from the “Standard (Vanilla) Resolutions” folder. If you’re using TSL with either UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “kotor2logo.tga” file from the “For those using Widescreen fixes” folder. If you chose correctly, you'll see something like this! (Borders added for text purposes.) If you chose poorly and have widescreen changing things, you'll see something like this (or unleash Cthulu)! (Borders added for text purposes.) I can't have made these instructions simpler than this. Uninstallation: Delete the “kotor2logo.tga” file currently in your Override folder. Find the original TGA that you carefully put aside and put it back into the Override folder. Known Bugs: None known at this time. 6. @Saul_R97, are you using the latest version of TSLRCM (i.e. version 1.8.6)? Here's my take on it.
  7. You'd need a mod that replaces "kotor2logo.tga" and most other mods aren't going to bother to promote someone else's work (i.e. TSLRCM). Might I recommend making a request in the Request section if you feel so strongly about this? Be specific about what you need or you will likely be ignored here.

MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 24 NOV 2021 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Description: ------------ Still cleaning out the archive . . . So . . . I was looking over my mods and I realized I had things left to finish. This one was difficult to place in a larger mod as it’s only one little texture so that’s how I’ll package. Meet the DAN_tech01” texture, in its actual size. If I recall correctly, it’s found in Khoonda but it may appear elsewhere. I’m sure you’ll let you let me know that in the comments if you encounter it elsewhere. So it’s small and it’s not the most exciting texture. With some animation, maybe it could be more interesting. I give you my take on it, in its actual size. Installation: ------------- Place TGA and TXI files into your KotOR2 Override folder. Uninstallation: ------------- Take them out again. Known Bugs: ------------- None known at this time. Special Thanks: ------------- Thanks to Jorak Uln for the frame that surrounds the monitor on texture “NAR_tekX”, which was included in my “Nar Shaddaa Docks Computer and Monitors Upgrade” mod. I recycled portions of that framework for this texture. 10. View File [TSL] Nar Shaddaa Docks Computer and Monitors Upgrade MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 22 NOV 2021 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Description: ------------ Don’t you hate unfinished business? I sure do. So . . . I was looking over my mods and I realized I had things left to finish. One of the collections that I hadn’t released before I left the staff of DeadlyStream (again!) was a minor texture. These cover the major of the monitors you would see in the Docks section of Nar Shaddaa. One of the reasons that this wasn’t finished was an error on some of the models that had some lighting issues on them. However, ebmar made a quick fix and that seems to have done the trick. In keeping with my M.O., I’ve attached a video so you can see a before and after comparison before you decide to download. With the exception of the NAR_tek1 texture, none of these are animated. Installation: ------------- Place MDL and MDX into the Override folder. Put all included TGA and TXI files into your KotOR2 Override folder. Uninstallation: ------------- Take them out again. To take out specific textures, please refer to the pictures on the download page as they clearly show which ones are which. Known Bugs: ------------- None known at this time. Special Thanks: ------------- Thanks to @ebmar would create that model fix or these textures would’ve never seen the light of day. Thanks to @Jorak Uln for the frame that surrounds the monitor on texture NAR_tekX. I recycled portions of that framework on some of the other textures. Thanks to @N-DReW25 for doing some beta testing and providing helpful feedback towards this project. And thanks to @DarthParametric for attempting to try and walk me through some of the issues regarding that model. He wasn’t successful but he did give it the college try! 12. Before we get into the nitty gritty, let's talk about these armors first. There are several varieties of the armors. However, they are all BoE (Bind on Equip) armor pieces. They are designed for level 70 characters and the special abilities that are currently on them are rescinded at level 75. Why would you want these? Cosmetic reasons, I suppose. If this turns you off, you may as well skip the rest. Still interested? Let's continue. Luckily, as I was researching one of the armor sets, I found a convenient Reddit thread that described all of the armor sets you can find. Here's the thread on Reddit if you want to read the whole thing but here's the relevant parts quoted. There's a few very similar armor pieces that are rare BoE drops. You can sometimes find them on the GTN, but they have very generic names. You can search for Adaptive Armor with a level range of 70-70 to find them. There's 4 distinct appearances and they have the following names (some names repeat but have a different icon and look): Head: Faceguard, Cap, Helmet (x2) Chest: Suit, Armor (x2), Shirt Wrists: Cuffs, Bracers (x2), Armgear Hands: Gauntlets (x2), Handwear, Handgear Waist: Girdle (x2), Waistcord, Belt Legs: Greaves, Legwraps, Leg Guards, Legguards Feet: Kneeboots (x2), Shoes, Footgear They have the following affixes (Except for Wrists and Waist): Accuracy: Wanderer's Shield: Resolute Absorption: Stalwart Captain's Alacrity: Trickster's Critical: Exile's Wrists and Waist items have the following affixes: Power: Aggressor's Defense: Protector's They come in green, blue and purple quality. Purple has a set bonus for extra stats, but it stops working at level 75. What do they look like? Well, here's a picture from the aforementioned thread... Here's an example Armor in the original colors. This mostly made up of the Trickster's Amor. It has a Wanderer's belt. Here's a side view of the same armor with the Trickster's Dual Saber. And here's the front view dyed. For this color scheme, I used the "Ceremonial Yellow" dye which on this is basically a Gold primary and a secondary Dark Grey. It dyes rather well. How to Start: On Ossus, there's a Daily mission called Crossed Wires. Here's how SWTOR describes it. The second of these two droids is named R8-4XL and it can be found on the eastern side of this map in the area indicated with a poorly drawn green border. It is not necessary to pick up the mission "Crossed Wires" in order to farm the armors but as you'll be in the area anyway, you may as well complete the Daily while you're there. In this area, there are two types of clickable crates: Valuable Supplies and Forgotten Troves. This is what the Valuable Supplies look like and a random selection of what you might find inside. These have a very small chance to have the armor described above and if you do get them, they'll be the green variety. However, I recommend grabbing them anyway as you'll likely only be getting these as cosmetic items. The other type of clickable crate are the Forgotten Troves. Here's what they look like and a random selection of what you might find inside. These have very high chance of have the armor pieces and these will be the blue versions. Very rarely, they may as also be purple but that rate is very low. The setback is that these crates only appear once every half hour (approximately). Granted, you can probably decrease your wait times by hopping different instances but still . . . that's a long wait. In order to cut down on the waiting, here are the 3 locations that SWTOR has decided to place the Forgotten Troves so if they're not present in any of the three, you can go ahead and do something else. Happy hunting!
  13. What version of TSL are you working with? (The original 4 CDs, or the KOTOR Collection, or the Steam version, or the version from GOG)? What OS are you using?
  14. I could possibly be remembering this wrong. My memory of this had something to do with making the loading screen for the area. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, folks.
  15. The Red Eclipse slavers that board the EH use prop weapons.
  16. Is your mod compatible with the M4-78 New Building Texture mod?
  17. As @DarthRevan101isn't following this thread, I thought I'd ping him for you. So it is seen.
  18. @JCarter426: Might you (or anyone else for that matter) know how one would apply your overlays in GIMP? Feel free to dumb it down. (LOL) I swear I used to have instructions for this but scrolling through multiple emails and messages of the last 5 years hasn't resulting anything useful.
  19. If you were talking about the bad fog on M4-78, what about the fog fix mod? If not M4-78, what other fog problems are there?
  20. I've seen it discussed in DS discord, the KOTOR subreddit discord, private messages there. And there's a few videos floating around as well. Here's one to get you started...
