Same on my end. I'm having issues with this pacifying the Assassins. They don't de-cloak when they first appear in the cutscene after Kreia joins, and they don't de-cloak and fight me after while running through the Republic ship at Peragus. I stopped there to find that issue and haven't gone further. I used to run this with Shem's lightsaber mod but did a delete and fresh install of the game to use this. This is the only thing I'm using that mods the Assassins beyond the one that turns the Sith Troopers to Assassins and that wasn't a problem with Shem's. Removing your files reset them to their defaults.

I absolutely hate the default armors that these tunics override; they are cartoon-ish and look dreadful. In fact, a lot of the Obsidian's artistic choices for KotOR 2 are cartoon-ish and dreadful (maybe it's a sign of the time the game was made in). I never liked the change in art direction and this mod offers a far better alternative; a must have for me.

I'm a staunch vanilla player and like my mods least intrusive as possible but still enough of a mod that gives the game some new life. I've always liked Rece's Upgradeable Robes but it's an old mod by today's standard, but I like what it adds to the game. I also really like this newer mod by @PirateofRohan that reorganizes the robes in-game into "tiers" allocating one pattern to basic/knight/master along with the layered contrasting color schemes. The unfortunate thing is that they don't mix well together! Both mods running will limit the variety of the Three-Tiered robe choices and I'd like to keep them. Is there way (or better yet, someone) to make a mod the fully incorporates these two elements together without it conflicting? I've contacted both authors of the mod but I don't think any of them wants to bother. I would definitely love this option if it were made though!

Ought not to be. I'm a strict vanilla player; I keep things where they are and just change the cosmetics mostly. The last thing I put in was @Tk664 Korriban mod and that shouldn't have touched any of it. It's why I'm looking at the Ultimate Endar Spire to see if anything in there is screwing around.

So I've installed some new mods, started a new game, and am finding issues that are causing a texture "blinking" or animating bug specifically on these "Plasteel Cylinders," and I'm trying to figure what they're called in the game's files to find the problem. I've had this encounter before with animations for certain placeables conflicting with their respective specular traits but can't for the life of me think what it could be for the cylinders as I haven't got anything in the Override folder that would have to do anything with having them animate. My current thinking is that something from the "Ultimate Endar Spire" mod I recently installed is the cause (I'm running it without Reshade) and it's conflicting with something else.

If you're not playing K1 or K2 with this mod, you're missing out. I'm running it on the 'legacybeta' version through Steam (uniws and all that) and if that means I can't run the "Extended Enclave" mods or whatever mods that needs the Aspyr update---they conflict with lightsaber textures---so be it. This is essential, in my book.

I took time to install this once before and aside from a new nitpicks (OT-era Empire uniforms on some Sith Captains), I love what it does. What I hate is how buggy K2 is even after all the fixes. I encountered a game-ender bug hardcoded in the game pretty late-game and wound up having to reinstall a number of mods. ...This didn't make the cut unfortunately and why it got docked one star. This is a pain in the ass to reinstall, having to repopulate each area. I know it's the only way to make it happen but having to do the areas at a time (finding the same file locations 40 times), I couldn't bother. This mod is great for those who do!

The textures themselves look nice, and in certain areas actually look great, but the wide use of the same ones repeatedly over the same surface on the ground and on some of the buildings is really busy looking and kind of nauseating to look at. Until there's a better HD retexture for Nar Shaddaa on the site, I guess this will do.
