The K1 Community Patch (K1CP) is a compilation of previous bugfix mods and a multitude of new original fixes put together with the intention of resolving the many and various issues that KOTOR has. This includes some well-known game breaking bugs/softlocks, broken quests, inaccessible content, as well as lesser issues such as problems in conversations, visual inconsistencies, player annoyances, etc. The intention is for the changes to be as seamless as possible, fixing and improving things whilst still retaining the original developer intent. A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and allowed them to be included in this patch! Unfortunately, the individual list of changes has grown far too long to be included in this post. However, you can view a detailed breakdown of each author's individual contributions in the included readme file and a summary of the changes the current version has made since the previous release in the changelog file. List of Contributing Authors (alphabetical): A Future Pilot blennus danil-ch darthbdaman DarthParametric Ebmar Frykas Gimmick5000 jc2 JCarter426 Kainzorus Prime Kexikus KOTOR 1 Restoration Team Leilukin Markus Ramikin N-DReW25 ndix UR R2-X2 Red Hessian Salk th3w1zard1 Thrak Farelle WildKarrde Installation: Run INSTALL.exe and navigate to your K1 install folder. Generally speaking, this mod should be installed before anything else, except mods that do hard edits/overwrites of 2DA, TLK or MOD (module) files. Warning: Never run the installer from inside the archive! Always extract the archive onto your hard drive first. N.B.: With the advent of version 1.10.0, K1CP has migrated away from the use of TSLPatcher and switched to HoloPatcher. This allows for additional patching functionality and resolves some bugs encountered with TSLPatcher. HoloPatcher is also multi-platform. The bundled installer is the Windows version, but Mac and Linux users can download the appropriate installer for their system here. It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. If you are using the Steam version of the game and have installed Steam in its default Program Files location, we advise creating a new Steam Library on a different drive and moving the game there via the game's Properties pop-up in Steam. Translation: The mod now has translations in French and Russian, available as separate patches. To use, first download the base K1CP v1.10.0 archive and extract it to your harddrive. Download your translation patch of choice and extract its contents into K1CP's tslpatchdata folder. Proceed to install the mod as normal. Compatibility/Known Issues: K1CP uses module injection in an attempt to remain as compatible as possible with other mods. This may result in issues with mods that simply put files in the Override folder. It is recommended that you consult the individual authors of any large scale mods, particularly those that edit DLGs and scripts, as to whether their work is compatible with K1CP. Some mods will likely require updates, some may need to be installed in a specific order, whilst others may be fundamentally incompatible. K1CP currently only supports the English language version of the game, and makes a number of edits to the TLK file in English. If anyone is able to provide translations of these changes to other languages, please let us know. The KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod is incompatible with K1CP, however there is ongoing work to re-create the K1R mod for K1CP: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2345-restored-content-for-k1cp-demo/ These are the currently known bugs/issues with KOTOR or the mod that the K1CP is looking to resolve: https://github.com/KOTORCommunityPatches/K1_Community_Patch/issues If you find any others, especially with changes/additions K1CP makes, please report them on the Github issue page or here on Deadly Stream so they can be addressed. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including a list of all the other mods you have installed, the order you installed them in, steps to reproduce the problem, along with screenshots and save files, if appropriate. You may also be directed to provide the install log file, a list of the contents of your Override folder, and specific MOD files from your modules folder. Uninstallation: Given the complexity of this mod, a clean install of KOTOR is the recommended approach for uninstalling K1CP. However, HoloPatcher does provide uninstall Shell (Bash) and PowerShell scripts which will work as long as K1CP was the most recent mod installed. Good afternoon. I worked very long on these textures. I can call them one of the best of my works. The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy. -

This mod makes some alterations to the arena in the Taris Upper City cantina. The primary change is the removal of the original low quality crowd sprites. In the vanilla game these are VFX nodes. It appears that Bioware's original intention was for these to be animated, but that was likely disabled due to performance issues on the Xbox. Subsequently, most of the sprites are lacking arms. Another issue is the scaling. The sprites are completely out of scale with the rest of the game world, appearing to be about half the height of an average human. This was possibly an attempt to skew the perspective, an attempt to make the arena look bigger than it actually is. The original sprites have been completely removed in favour of better quality crowd sprites ported from The Old Republic. Additionally, the bays housing the crowd have been resized in order to fit proper human-sized figures. To comply with recent local ordinance changes, transparisteel safety screens have been fitted for the crowd’s protection. Other minor changes include some texture swaps on the roof section and a dummy door model to hide some unsightly fog on the original. Additionally, players participating in duels should now correctly face their opponent, and give an alignment-specific emote when they are announced. Opponents will now politely wait until their name is announced before giving their little fist pump. After some complaints by their union about a lack of proper medical services, defeated opponents are now healed back to full health post-match rather than being left to limp around. The view screens in the cantina have been upgraded to have a dynamic display of the current arena rankings. These will change as the player progresses up the ranks. The placeable computer screens have all had their positions adjusted so that they properly contact the walls they are supposed to be mounted to, and to align them with one another. Ajuur the Hutt’s dialogue has also had some minor surgery performed on it, to better deal with player and party positioning. Carth should now properly face Ajuur and the player during his relevant interjections, and won't be replying from across the room. N.B. - Because alterations are made to the module's GIT file, the mod requires a save before entering the Upper City cantina for the first time. It is thus best suited for a new game. If you load a save after having entered, none of the screens will line up properly with the computer placeables. Known Issues: If you initiate a conversation with Ajuur while the party is standing in the corner with the medpac bin, you will likely see them jump out of frame as they are moved to their now scripted fixed positions directly in front of the Hutt. That's an unfortunate consequence of the way it was handled, but the camera angle should mask the transition from pretty much anywhere else. Acknowledgements Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Special thanks to @JCarter426 for helping with some scripting, particularly extended troubleshooting of the Ajuur party positioning script Thanks to @Salk for alerting me to the TSLPatcher problem with v1.0 Thanks to @A Future Pilot for pointing me to the fixed version of TSLPatcher Thanks to @Publicola for informing me about the ability to click through announcement animations Some screenshots feature @Sithspecter's High Quality Blasters The video features @ndix UR's KOTOR High Resolution Menus Crowd and glass textures ported from The Old Republic MMO -

KOTOR features several conversations between party members which occur as you explore the various planets. Unfortunately, it is easy to miss some of them if you rarely use certain combinations of characters, such as Carth with Canderous or Bastila with Jolee. This mod moves these conversations to the Ebon Hawk and the Taris apartment hideout similar to KOTOR 2, guaranteeing that you can see nearly every conversation in a single playthrough. Conversations which directly refer to Taris are set to take place while you are still there, while the remaining conversations will occur in semi-random order up until (or possibly slightly after) the Leviathan sequence. Aside from the change in location, I have also made some slight edits to the conversations themselves, mainly relating to the timing of character animations. By default, conversations will also still occur on the various planets like in the vanilla game. They will only occur at the Ebon Hawk/hideout as required to catch you up on any that you may have missed. I have also provided an option to make the conversations happen only at the Ebon Hawk/hideout, never out on the planets. If you are using version 1.1 or earlier of this mod, a rare issue has been reported where the conversation in the Taris apartment after the swoop race does not play like it is supposed to. If this happens to you, I have provided a hotfix for download which may be used with existing installations. The separate hotfix is not required if you are installing version 1.2, which already includes the fix. Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod! ------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION Run INSTALL.exe and select either the standard version or the KOTOR 1 Community Patch compatible version. If you would like the conversations to take place only at the Ebon Hawk/hideout, run INSTALL.exe again and select "OPTION: Ebon Hawk/Hideout Only". If you have other mods installed, it is normal to see warnings that ebo_m12aa.mod and/or tar_m02af.mod already exist and have been skipped. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) and incorporates its fixes to k_pebn_pophawk.ncs. It has not been tested with the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R), but in theory it should be compatible. It is not compatible with any mods that edit k_pebn_pophawk.ncs or banter.dlg. For best results, install this mod after K1CP, K1R, or any other mods that make significant edits to the Ebon Hawk interior or to the Taris apartment hideout. ------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS NWNSSCOMP by Torlack and tk102 DeNCS by JdNoa and Dashus K-GFF by tk102 DLGEditor by tk102 TSL Patcher by stoffe and Fair Strides ERFEdit by stoffe and Fair Strides Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra This mod includes fixes to k_pebn_pophawk.nss which were developed by the K1CP team. Thanks to PoopaPapaPalpatine for reporting the issue and testing the fix. 1.2.1 - Added additional conditions to the Ebon Hawk entry script to prevent a rare issue where the cutscenes before landing on Dantooine for the first time did not occur and the game softlocked. Bubbling up from the font of dark knowledge, ndix UR presents KotOR High Resolution Menus, a UI mod package providing full high resolution menu and UI support for Knights of the Old Republic. The tyrrany of 640x480 menus and 6-item lists is over. Normally, when you increase the game's resolution using a widescreen patcher like UniWS, the menus stay very small in the middle of the screen and the borders get larger. This package is designed to be used *after* the widescreen patcher has done its work. It scales the menu screens up so that they fill the screen. This package requires modification of the swkotor.exe file using a supplied patcher, and is only known to work with GoG, 4-CD, and macOS (x86) versions of the game. It should be compatible with any Steam version that uses UniWS. The main content of the package are sets of GUI files (.gui), scaled for specific resolutions. The package contains GUI files for over 30 common resolutions with the following aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9. Here is a list of the currently supported resolutions: Installation Find the gui.WxH folder matching your resolution, modify your executable using the supplied patcher, copy the GUI files to your Override/ folder. The details for this process can be found in the package README.pdf file. Read it. Follow the instructions therein. The documentation includes everything you need to know to manually patch your EXE if the patcher does not work for your version. Uninstallation Remove the GUI files, restore the original backed up version of your swkotor.exe file. IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a resolution hack or widescreen patch, such as you get from using UniWS. You should already be successfully running the game at the resolution you are trying to get menus and UI for. Nothing in this package will give you any additional resolutions available. That is not what this does. If you are trying to get high-res menus for one of the resolutions supported by default (800x600, 1024x768, etc.) there is probably no point to using the GUI files named 'mipc*' provided by this package (mostly the in-game "HUD"), however, this scenario is untested. There are a few of the GUI files in this package you can use without modifying your executable. Here is that 'safe' list, in case you are unable to modify your executable: It gets you the main menu, some dialogs, and the in-game HUD elements. Thanks DarthParametric for testing, contributing a double-clickable thing for Windows users, and prompting me to finally figure out the needed EXE modifications. tk102 for GFF2XML and XML2GFF source code, which made it a lot easier to get this up and running. Known Issues The patcher is currently incredibly limited, making no effort to search for values, only looking at specific locations where they are in the executables I have access to. This package does not contain any higher resolution artwork. At high resolutions, menu backgrounds will be blocky, and the striped list backgrounds are unlikely to line up with list items. For numerous reasons, you will want to get a high resolution menu art package. The game's initial character selection screen does not lay out the selectable characters properly according to GUI file field values. It is useable, but not perfect. The blue hilight borders had to be removed from around the characters to maintain a clean look. The map screen is scaled up, but the map itself is not. Furthermore, the position of the map within the frame is somewhat random/poorly understood. The map, however, is completely useable, and the points of interest and player indicator are all positioned accurately relative to the map. Some of the 3D models in menus, such as on the character stats or character generation screens, display line artifacts over them. This is caused by the very low quality graphics being scaled up to provide the border overlays. Extracting the graphics as TGAs, scaling them up, and placing them into Override/ sometimes solves these problems. This package omits statussummary.gui and dialog.gui. Scaling them up cause problems. The files don't behave as expected, and it seems to not require a customized version in order for them to work as one would want. You might notice 1280x1080 in 21:9 even though it is not 21:9. It is for split-screen on 21:9 monitors. Rescaling the dialog/cut-scene letterbox (which is optional) seems to introduce occasional issues with letterbox placement, particularly when the letterbox animation happens. This may be fixed at some point in the future. There is no scaling on font size, and as far as I know no one has figured out how to do it, so users on TV/couch setups may not find the help they are looking for with this. Upgrading 1.4 to 1.5: If your resolution was not previously supported, copy new .gui files to your Override/ Upgrading 1.3 to 1.4: If you have Polish version, you can run EXE patching process If you have 32:9 display, copy new .gui files to your Override/ Upgrading 1.2 to 1.3: Copy all the .gui files to your Override/ Upgrading 1.1 to 1.2: Repeat the EXE patching process on a backup EXE if you want letterbox scaling Upgrading 1.0 to 1.1: Remove dialog.gui from your Override/ Copy 1.1 pazaakgame.gui to your Override/ -

*********************************** Knights of the Old Republic *********************************** TITLE: A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World (1.1) AUTHOR: LDR FILENAME: ldr_repshipunknownworld FILESIZE: 176 MB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- There are 2 available methods of installing A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World. The standard installation method is done entirely though TSL Patcher, and doesn’t require you to do anything beyond simple button clicking. The manual installation is for those unable, for whatever reason, to use TSL Patcher, and involves the copying and pasting of files from folder to folder. NOTE: With the standard installation method, this mod is far more likely to work alongside any other mods you may currently have installed, which may not be the case should you use the manual installation method. I have attempted naming files in a way where there should be a minimum chance of mod conflicts, but you never know. This mod also has an "Optional" installation meant to use in conjuction with either/both of SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. To uninstall, remove the files from their respective folders in the SWKotOR directory. ------------------------------ » STANDARD INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 2) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 3) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. ------------------------------ » MANUAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Open up the tslpatchdata folder. 2) Copy all files with a .wav extension and paste into the streamwaves folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 3) Copy all files with a .mod extension and paste into the modules folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 4) Copy everything else (With exception to changes.ini and info.rtf) and paste into the override folder located in your SWKotOR directory (If there isn't one, create one). ------------------------------ » OPTIONAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Additional install options have been provided for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. 2) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 3) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 4) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. --------------- Mod Permissions --------------- You may not use any assets of this mod in your own mod without first contacting me. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ This mod adds 6 new modules, 9 new items (3 equippable inventory, 4 datapads, 2 keycards) on the Unknown World, making the crashed Hammerhead explorable. You must have a save before setting foot on the Unknown World. -------------------------------------------------- » Version 1.1 Changes -------------------------------------------------- - Fixes a bug where the party was prevented from spawning in during the confrontation on the beach on a DS playthrough following completing the Temple. - Corrects reported spelling/gramatical errors. - Integrates optional install paths through TSLPatcher for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. ----- BUGS ----- Any mods that modify the unk_m41aa OnEnter script will be incompatible with this mod. "Frame Buffer Effects" turned off in the swkotor.ini results in audio logs without the blue camera effect. If you find any please post them in the comments or send me a direct message. Summary Throughout the game, there are cutscenes of the player sleeping and having Force visions to further the plot. This mod fixes two things about those scenes that bothered me. First, the first of these scenes is supposed to happen in the party's apartment on Taris, but is quite clearly set on the Ebon Hawk like all the other scenes. I've edited the area used for the visions to put in a copy of the apartment to make the location consistent. Second, the scenes show the player wearing whatever item they happened to have equipped when the scene started. So the player would routinely sleep in their clothing, even armor. I've edited the cutscene scripts to remove the player's equipment for the duration of the vision. Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Vision_Enhancement_K1.exe. Select which version to install: If you use the KOTOR 1 Restoration, choose the K1R-Compatible Installation. Otherwise, choose the Basic Installation. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). Uninstallation Remove the installed file. Description This mod aims to completely change Juhani's appearance and to bring it close to artist Corbin Hunter's redesign of the character. As a result, her head has been significantly reshaped and slightly retextured. An all-new body model was created and hand-painted from scratch. A new custom lightsaber has been created as well. As several aspects of Juhani have been changed, this mod has been divided into four editions to accomodate the final user's preferences: 1. An All-in-one edition which includes all the changes to bring her close to Corbin Hunter's vision of the character. 2. A head-only edition, which only includes Juhani's revamped head. 3. A body and lightsaber edition, which includes her new body model and lightsaber. 4. Finally, a head and lightsaber edition, which includes her new head model and lightsaber. Please refer to the included images in the 'Editions reference pictures' folder included in the archive to help you determine your preferred edition. Installation 1. Extract the archive's content somewhere on your computer. 2. Double-click the "Juhani Appearance Overhaul.exe" file. 3. Choose an edition to install. Refer to the images included in the 'Editions reference pictures' folder to determine which one you prefer. 4. Click on the "Install Now" button once you're ready. The installer will try to locate your game installation directory. If it can't find it on its own, direct the installer to the correct location. 5. The installer will proceed to install the mod's files into your Override folder. Once it's finished, you may exit the installer and launch the game. IMPORTANT If you choose an edition that includes Juhani's new body model and lightsaber: Juhani will have her new items only if you are using a save that is prior to the moment she joins your party right before leaving Daantoine. If you are past that point in your playthrough, she won't have her new items. You can get them using KSE or via entering the following commands in the in-game console: ⦁ giveitem j_juhsaber01 ⦁ giveitem j_juhbody01 CREDITS Original design by Corbin Hunter: Artstation link This mod uses JC’s TSL Supermodel port in order to animate the skirt. Summary This mod replaces the Jedi robes worn by the player and many NPCs with a more iconic, cloaked one based on a model from K2. I've made some fixes to the model and made new textures both to improve the quality and fit into the game more smoothly. There are three texture options: 100% Brown, Brown-Red-Blue, and Brown-Red-Blue Alternative. The Brown-Red-Blue textures maintain the color scheme of the K1 Jedi Robes. The 100% Brown textures look more like K2 textures, with different (brown) designs for the Jedi robes instead of different colors. The Brown-Red- Blue Alternative is a mix of these styles. It retains the color scheme of the Brown-Red-Blue option while keeping the variety of the 100% Brown option. Dark Jedi robes, of course, are always black. All styles come with or without gloves for your player character and some non- player characters. If you choose a gloveless option, your hands will be bare and match your usual skin tone. Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Install.exe. Select one of the six install options: a) 100% Brown b) 100% Brown (No Gloves) c) Brown-Red-Blue d) Brown-Red-Blue (No Gloves) e) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative f) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative (No Gloves) Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Manual Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. If you do not have an override folder, make one in your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Select one of the three folders in tslpatchdata: k_bbb – 100% Brown k_brb – Brown-Red-Blue k_brb-a – Brown-Red-Blue Alternative Copy all files from the selected folder to your override folder except appearance.2da and the .ini and .rtf files. The gloveless options require patching appearance.2da and are not supported by the manual installation. Uninstallation Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility & Other Notes This mod is not compatible with my Cloaked Hybrid Robes mod; you have to pick one or the other. This mod is compatible with my Cloaked Party Robes mod, if you install it after installing this mod. This mod is likely not compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi robes. This mod uses my Supermodel Port for K1. This makes it super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate. This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. So you don't have to worry about using that, or if these files are overwriting those. Use this mod's files. These supermodel edits somewhat alter some animations in the game. These adjustments were necessary to prevent the old stuff from clipping with the new stuff. It's essentially what Obsidian did when they added the new bones to the supermodel, but I've reversed the changes a bit to bring the animations closer to the original K1 style. Some models aren't so happy with the new rig. I've made some hotfixes for such cases where I can, but they won't be compatible with other mods that alter these models. I've instructed TSLPatcher not to overwrite these. P_JuhaniBB.mdl and P_JuhaniBB.mdx are two such files that will be skipped. If you use the Juhani Catlike Head Mod, I suggest that you use my version because I happened to fix the same thing that mod fixes anyway. You can copy those two files manually from tslpatchdata to Override. The gloveless options only support appearances from the original game release. If you use a modded player appearance, they'll still wear gloves. While this mod adds skirt bones to the player supermodels, at this time it does not add the bones or the necessary animations to the cutscene models. So the skirt flaps may appear stiff in scenes that use those. I have uploaded a separate mod resource with essentially all of these assets free for anyone who wants to use them. The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy. -

In an attempt to salvage some material from the now defunct SW:KotOR Upgrade project, I have decided to share this modification with the community. This file is meant to replace the original dialog.tlk that comes with the original game. It is meant to be used exclusively with the English version of the game. It is technically compatible with every other modification that alter this same file by patching it, provided this is installed first. Two versions are offered: one that includes only corrections and a revised one that includes most of the changes found in the PC Response Moderation modification by Kainzorus Prime. Enjoy! -

HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20200805 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for PCs. All 34 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 3 light-dark variants, for a total of 102 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setupusing a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers. See the included images in preview/ for an idea of how the portraits look. INSTALL / UNINSTALL To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your TSL game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your TSL game Override/ folder. ABOUT: This mod replaces every skybox and every planetary backdrop in the game with a new high resolution version made from scratch. This includes a replacement of every skybox model to fix all the glaring issues with the original. There are also some additional minor changes that either fix issues with the vanilla environments or serve to better blend ingame terrain and skybox. Other than that I recommend you just check out the screenshots as pictures say more than a thousand words or check the video to see the animated skyboxes. Click the following image to see additional interactive screenshot comparisons: There are also add-ons with new skyboxes for the following mods: Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon's Revenge Yavin IV Ord Mandell including InSidious' reskin Green Grass for Dantooine If you find any issues or have any other comments, please let me know and I'll see what can be done. INSTALLATION: If you have a previous version of this mod installed, remove it before installing the new version or you might run into some issues. For installation instructions check the read-me files of the individual downloads. Usually it's just copying files to your Override folder. For the mod to take full effect you need a savegame where you have not yet left Dantooine. COMPABILITY: This mod is not compatible with any mod that edits skyboxes in any way. This includes mods that only edit their models. There might also be rare incompabilities with mods that edit non-skybox area models if those models are also edited by this mod. PERMISSIONS: You may NOT redistribute any textures included in this archive without my explicit permission. You may however use all the models as long as you give me credit. CREDITS: This mod was created by Kexikus using mainly Terragen 4, Photoshop CS6 and 3ds Max as well as some After Effects. Authors: Zbyl2, DarthStoney, Hassat Hunter & VarsityPuppet Contact: PM us at Deadlystream Name: The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) 1.8.6 1. Description: ---------- Welcome. Thank you for downloading and installing TSLRCM 1.8.6. This mod's intention is to restore much of the content cut from The Sith Lords, that was lost to the main game due to a rush to release the game. This rush also left the game with a plethora of bugs (some of which also blocked out content, so not everything restored was really "cut"; for example the quest 'Corrun Falt'), so this mod should seriously decrease the buginess that plagued TSL. Overall, our goal is to make the KotOR 2: TSL experience as close as possible for us (as modders can do) as what Obsidian originally intended it to be... Be sure to check our website (or ModDB page) for potential upgrades, patches and compatible mods for TSLRCM. Our site will always have the most recent version of TSLRCM, something we cannot, sadly enough, promise from other sources. http://deadlystream.com/forum/ http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-sith-lords-restored-content-mod-tslrcm Also, if you have issues, questions, or feedback, please post it on the official forums, as otherwise it will be read much later, or not at all. After all, we can't monitor the entire internet. http://deadlystream.com/forum/forum/4-tslrcm/ 2. Installation: ---------- 1. If you're using an older version of TSLRCM (1.8.2 or lower), a game re-install is required before applying 1.8.6. (Steam and GOG users, skip to point 4) 2. After re-installing it's advised to apply the official patch (1.0b). Non-US versions require you to install 1.0a first, then 1.0b, US versions can install 1.0b right away. Make sure to apply the patch that fits your version. Also, after installing 1.8.5, the official patch can no longer be installed! 3. If desired, apply the high quality music and/or movie patches 4. Install 1.8.5. Steam users are advised to use the Steam Workshop download - but ONLY IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON USING ANY OTHER MODS. Steam Workshop mods CANNOT guarantee compatibility, and installing multiple workshop mods will likely lead to issues. CHECK YOUR INSTALLATION DIRECTORY. DO NOT INSTALL INTO THE OVERRIDE FOLDER OR YOUR GAME WILL CRASH! We've had several users on Vista mention that instead of Program files (x86) it would point to Program Files/Program Files, causing the installation to fail. Make sure the installer points to the proper location of your KOTOR2 installation. Default (32-bit windows); C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\ Default (64-bit windows); C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\ GOG default: C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR2 5. To check if the installation has succeeded, try launching KOTOR2:TSL. If at the main menu it says "Restored Content Modification 1.8.5" on the screen the installation has been successful. PLEASE CHECK OUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE OR MODDB FOR ANY POTENTIAL UPDATES 6. While we try our best to make this mod as bug-free as possible, with the many options of KOTOR2 and our small testing team bugs, critical ones, sometimes make it through. We will fix them, so check our site for any potential updates and patches. We would rather not have people play unpatched and then experience issues like the black screen (1.7) or red eclipse (1.6)! 7. Install any TSLRCM-compatible mods you desire now. If you're unsure if a mod you want is compatible, check our list at our forums, or section 6 - Mod compatibility in this readme. ULTIMATE SABER MOD (USM) IS NOT TSLRCM-COMPATIBLE. MOST REPORTED ISSUES ABOUT TSLRCM ARE FROM USERS STILL USING IT. DON'T! * You cannot use savegames made with vanilla Sith Lords or TSLRCM 1.8.2 or lower. Saves from 1.8.3 and above can savely be used, although some fixes may not take effect. A fresh new game is always the best option for the least amount of issues. 3.0 Changelist 1.8.5 Updated - 1.8.6 ---------- * Soundset of Coorta and Thugs changed from Mira to Commoner Male * Fixed always failing persuasion check for the Ithorian coming in when stealing the prototype shield * Fixed skipped line in 203TEL * Wrong VO used for aliens on Nar Shaddaa * Added fix for the "friendly Twin Suns" gamebreaking issue. * Added alternative female Revan line on Goto's Yacht. * One revan good/dark convo check was swapped in Disciple conversation * Fixed issue where one could get stuck if entering the enclave with Kreia and a third party member and was controlling the third member. * Fixed "good react" suddenly branching to Dark Side dialogue with certain options in Kreia's global dialog. * Visas: "Is her kind rare" and "What's a Miraluka" response from Atton was swapped. * Kreia's first good path no longer decreases -INF after selecting "Perhaps you are right", canceling out the loss and gain like the first dark side path. * Fixed Sith Assassin and Jedi Watchmaster losing ability to select Dual Strike. * Fixed 232hk50006 not playing on steam * Fixed NPC rotation when talking to Hanharr * Fixed a missing script for female players on Onderon. * Fixed Disciple conversation abrubly ending * Added a female version of a line to Tobin's dialog * Fixed typos in dialog.tlk 3.1 Changelist 1.8.4 Updated - 1.8.5 ---------- * Added persuasion animation (Thanks to danil_ch for noticing and providing a semi-complete list of locations of all force persuasions) * Resolved some AR_Error generation with easter egg background and robes. * Fixed T3 skipped dialogue fix getting broken when fixing Steam dialogue being skipped. * Removed excess dlg's and stuff from 307NAR (only used for Zhug scenes), drastically reducing it's size. * (English version) Fixed Revan disrepency in HK-47 dialogue (Thanks to danil_ch for noticing and the VO splices) * Pre-Malachor: Resolved Handmaiden being present even if she left with Kreia to Malachor. Removed dead HK-50 to avoid confusion. * Force Persuading Terlyn will no longer require persuasion skill to succeed. * Onderon Wall: Restored missing Bostuco line, made Royalist single line bark rather than cutscene, fixed minor lipsync issues with Vaklu in palace cutscene. * Trying to (Force) persuade the thug after killing Riiken will now net a dark side gain regardless of success or failure. * Restored Patto line, removed HK part from Akkare store since storespawn was fixed and was already generating a part, leading to him having 2 instead of the intended 1. * Ralon: If you have Kreia and Handmaiden/Disciple they can now both comment on the fabled holocron line. * Malachor Core: Fixed Kreia repeated line by actually intended line. * Touched up Visquis call cutscene. (thanks to Danil_ch) * Fixed several missing awareness and persuasion checks. * Fixed broken T3 interaction with the "meet and greet" droids on Dantooine. 3.2 Changelist 1.8.3B - 1.8.4 ---------- * Restored Remote's SFX that was removed by the official 1.0b patch. Poor guy! * Restored original dialogue to prologue, except for 'easter egg mode' users who get the spoken dialogue * Slightly modified pre-Malachor cutscene * Fixed reverted instances knowing about Goto in first Bao-Dur/Remote cutscene * First Bao-Dur/Remote cutscene now requires G0-T0 *or* HK-47, not both. Battle functioned properly already for females * Added 2 missing Sith to Vaklu palace sequence who triggered a small cutscene * Leaving Dantooine at the endgame cutscenes did not run for male players. Made them skippable in all cases * Added missing animation at start of Disciple cutscene (to match Visas scene) * Slightly improved Disciple warning Admiral cutscene * Added missing "lipsync" (eye flashing) for HK-Factory * Slightly improved 903MAL intro, fixed incorrect camera point for females, and the Elite Sith Assassin will now attack the Exile rather than ignore him/her * Moved DS hit for Slavery from Cahmakt to getting your payment in the cantina. This to prevent the rare issue of this hit triggering the Nihilus intro and getting the player stuck. * Fixed crashing issue if you try to enter the Telos Surface Shuttle with Atton or Kreia. * Fixed Peragus Medical Officer speaking the station warning using the Workshop download. * Added missing installer files: Heads.2da, Movies.2da and Musictable.2da * Fixed "double Sion" bug by undoing changes to .ncs (this is the vanilla file). Moved "Elite Sith" further back so it wont ignore you. Fixed trainingrun-dialogue not being properly triggered. Fixed several issues with 'improved' or 'deproved' time recognition. * Fixed Lupo not giving credits properly after teammates comment on your Force Persuasion use (my bad). * HK-50's will no longer appear and then fade away if HK-47 is in your party when going to Goto's Yacht (Thanks Markus Ramikin) * Losing to Bralor, then winning he would still incorrectly comment you can fight again (Thanks Markus Ramikin) * Persuading Qimtiq once does no longer guarantee 500 bonus credits per win permanently, you need to re-convince him before each race. * Missing VO addded to installer. * Fixed the "forfeit" Swooprace-bug. * Added proper camerapoints to modified tutorial dialogues. * Improved Azkul-Merc conversation after invading Khoonda (Merc side) (by danil-ch) * You will now start with Force Breath active upon learning it in the JJT/fixed flourish animation (by danil-ch) * Savegames made during the Atton vs. Sion confrontation on Malachor will no longer crash on loading. * Added missing lightsaber equipped fix (by danil-ch) that made the game also check the off-hand for a lightsaber and detect it. * Modified Mira technique teaching slightly. 3.4 Changelist 1.8.2 - 1.8.3 ---------- Not all fixes are listed here (for size and many misc. small changes were made). Check here; http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/2146-183-preview/?p=25588 for more (but not all) fixes from 1.8.2 to 1.8.3. General - Ebon Hawk; * Several more typo fixes in the dialog.tlk * Updated launcher (for the 4CD-version users) (thanks Pra_Viilon) * Made some lines during the prologue (and Nadaa on Nar Shaddaa) "cutscenes" to prevent questupdates breaking the heard line. Added missing update on getting medpacks. First hatch used outside will no longer be removed. * Fixed 'Lost Shadows' not closing proper on a certain ending (both TSLRCM and M4-78EP). * Restored addition HK-47 lines. * Loot fixes; Missing merchants of 1.8 updated, gloves_03 is missing, if it's rolled it will return gloves_02 now instead of no item at all. Fixed rounding issue allowing low-level drops to something not spawn anything (Peragus). * Added a few additional lines to the Korriban introduction. A few more for non-M4-78EP users (they will be taken out upon installing M4-78EP) as those were already in use on that planet's intro. * Added Atton pazaak scene. * Modified Atton vs Handmaiden, Atton confesses love of Exile to Bao-Dur and G0-T0 modifies Remote cutscenes and adjusted a few odd camera standpoints during 2 disciple cutscenes (all made by danil-ch) * Extra camera points post-Peragus cutscene. * Fixes teammates turning upon click during Visas fight, Bao-Dur line's unconscious line was voiced. * The weapon(s) HK was wearing when the HK vs T3 cutscene started are no longer destroyed, but properly unequipped now. * Added a missing Mandalore VO. * Improved quality Kaevee VO. Beast Trick will appear on the upgrade screen once you gain a prestige class, but it cannot be trained, only given. * "The Polar Cap", "Telos Under Attack" and "Trayus Academy" now appear in the music table. * 1B, Akkere and Kodin will generate one of 4 HK parts randomly now, instead of basing it on the players' possessed items (which could generate the pacifist package if all 4 were in the PC's inventory). * Kreia skill-lesson; Automatic completion if awareness was highest skill, unable to complete skill-lesson if awareness was lowest skill. Fixed now. * PC now shows form just learned from the Jedi Master. During mid-battle Masters actually use form instead of flourish (addition by Danil-ch). * Visas' lightsaber will no longer be sometimes invisible during training. * If Bao-Dur is set for Dark Side training but the PC is lightsided, the convo will no longer break without having any more chance to train him. Peragus - Telos: * Fixed droids not skittering properly in 102PER * Fixed same droids when passive allowing disabling option if lower than 0 demolition and higher than 0 demolition, but not when having exactly 0 demolition. It's now possible for them too. * Fixed Harbinger missing if reloading a save after it docked. * Fixed protocol droid with quest update being repaired during and after convo. * Fixed utility droids re-activating if talked to and reloading a savegame. * Wounded Onderon military will only give teammate influence if you kill him yourself, not if he gets killed by Sith. * Fixed black screen if talking to a Handmaiden and goading them to fighting if you won the 5 sister battle. * In attempt to prevent the teammate corruption (which I could not reproduce) the fade-to-black will now last longer, until the sisters turns actually hostile. * Handmaiden will lower her hood when loading the module from a savegame. * Handmaiden will no longer always be send with male PC's. Depending on your choices in Atris dialogue she will now be send or crawl on your plane, with slight variations in a few cutscenes as result. * Aesthetical fixes to cutscene where Atris sends Handmaiden with the exile. * Modified pre-Malachor Carth sequence per developer commentary (thank danil-ch for noticing them) * Some aestetical improvements to the cutscenes in the endgame of the Academy. * Fixed quest update from Lorso about luring Batono in a trap being set too early. It will only appear now if the actual global is also set to allow this option. * Corrected missing "Exchange" quest update in 3 different instances. * Bumani Corp Gammorean use proper dialogue line now. * Hidden academy camera changes to show force field. * TSF will no longer assist you in killing the Sullustan. Nar Shaddaa: * Swoop Droid no longer sounds like Kinrath. * Extended attack of the Serroco. * Saquesh; Allows you to "[intimidate] Stop pressuring the Refugees" if Serroco attacked them and intimidation option for Adana will no longer automatically fail. * Fixed killing Geriel possibly reopening Refugee Woes. It now no longer updates the quests, since the proper updates are already set talking to Saquesh instead, and as stated, was buggy. * Docks scene with Mira; Hanharr no longer takes 9 seconds (sometimes leaving a pause) but the duration of the VO-line. * During Mira or Hanharr's escape an actual alarm now sounds. * Reinforcements at the JJT are no longer deleted after the cutscene deploying them. * JJT Map back popup dialogue fixed. * You can no longer dance for the Twi'lek domo during the run to the JJT (after visquis call). This to prevent the player from missing key triggers. * Zhug Cutscene: Added another global set to the .dlg on an unskippable line as precaution, hopefully fixing the issue some people had with it not being set. * If you turn over shield from secondary to primary AFTER shutting down primary the zhugs will actually spawn now. * If the player overloads the droids now after the bounty hunters spawn, the droids will properly reset to hostile if made friendly, as per the description. * Once the speeder was rebuild, entering the docks or main area would spawn a new one every single time (on top of the old version, causing great performance issues after a while). This has been corrected, and they will only spawn once. * Turning Lootra over to the Exchange will wield a lightsaber now too (like all other quest-resolutions), and will no longer be seen as a "light side" action by your team members. * If you lied to Sasquesh and he sold Adanna fast, then killed him, "Sold to the Hutts" would re-open with no way of finishing it anymore. This has been fixed. * Goto's Yacht console; fixed issue with count's 8 and 9 on consoles being broken and disallowing interaction with the console ever again. * Kreia Premonition cutscene added (thanks to Danil-ch) Dxun and Onderon: * Slight improvements to Kreia's dialogue post-Onderon if Bao-Dur was Dxun Tomb leader. * Remote is now present if Bao-Dur is the leader of the Dxun Tomb group (thanks JCarter426). * Covered up some missing area geometry on Onderon (thanks to JCarter426's way too good eyes ) * During the LS conversation with Kavar, asking about Telos no longer locks "I saw the holorecording of my trial." It will instead lock if you ask that. * Dxun camp: The Gate Guard and Patrol guard will now keep patrolling after being talked to, rather than permanently stop at that point. * Onderon Western Merchant Quarters: Fixed error with citizen dialogue not looping properly. Dantooine: * When the Handmaiden apprehends Kreia, she should have her hood down. It wasn't working however, since the animation was set for the Handmaidens event instead of the Handmaiden one. * Zherron will now take the will and bodies out of the player's hands when receiving an unmodified will, instead of having you drag them through the entire game (fake will worked fine). * Fixed issue with restored Vrook line not turning him hostile properly in the cave. * Fixed infinite Kinrath crystal spawn bug. * Fixed HK's infront of the academy not updating questlog if 3rd group (display issue, the cutscene would have still triggered on the Hawk). * During the jedi academy reveil, added clairvoyance effect if Kreia was not in party, and it no longer loops the animated camera (thanks danil-ch). * During rebuild enclave, removed 3rd party member if entering with Kreia, as (s)he was getting in their pathing's way. * Mandalore can no longer run away from his solo-fight. Ravager and Malachor: * Modified broken soundsets. * Set hyperspace as EH background when leaving, so it's used during the pre-Malachor cutscene. * Modified Mandalore-takedown. * You can no longer start the battle with Nihilus without him draining you (since that's the ingame way to tell why the exile can defeat Nihilus when no-one else can). * Made the fade-in node unskippable since you could, and never make the fade-in. * Expanded the kneel and get drained a bit, instead of it instantly leading to combat. * There's no long pause after killing Visas. * Visas Suicide; Users where the animation fails (no saber, no clothing, etc) will no longer be stuck on a blackscreen. * Visas Suicide; Users where the animation works will no longer see Visas falling to the ground twice before dying. * Changed Mira camera angle during her lift. * Fixed issue with team turning off their lightsabers if Mira was not in the party during Malachor. * Light side players will no longer throw the endboss down the core of Malachor. 3.5 Changelist 1.8.1 - 1.8.2 ---------- (all included mods are used with permission!) * Includes 301NAR Txi fix by JCarter426 ** Fixes window near Tienn not being see-through. Now you can see Tienn from the docks. * Includes Zez-Kai Ell Revan Overlook fix by danil-ch ** Because, apparently, we overlooked one. Splicing was done well too. * Main screen logo updated to 1.8.2, and it no longer inverts suddenly sometimes (thanks Darth_Sapiens). For the best effect remove the kotor2logo.txi 1.8.1 had if you patched up to version 1.8.2 from 1.8.1. * A few addition grammar fixes. * Bao-Dur can now use cyan and bronze crystals to create your first saber. Also fixes the issue where you'd get stuck if you only had a cyan crystal and no other. Vanilla issue, only became apparent now since a no-longer broken since 1.8 store on Telos has a fixed Cyan crystal. * Fixes issues when you leave Adana in her cell, then talk to her again and tell her to run not updating the quest properly, potentially getting it stuck. (Thanks plyinglemon for getting said situation to our attention by suffering from it) * The workbench will now use the skill of the user, instead of the PC when dismantling items for components. * Updated modulesave.2da. * Fixed broken questupdate with the sabotaged protocol droid on the Harbinger (thanks Josh D for finding this). * Telos, thugs infront of the door to the Exchange compoud; Removed automatic Ithorian journal update, need to actually ask for Loppak and be refused for the journal to update. * Nar Shaddaa, Pazaak Den; Fixed potential convo-break for males with Dahnis. * The Security Spike Tunneler now uses the correct skin (it used to look just like the Security Spike, even if it had an unique icon). * Onderon; Removed the "A Matter of Leadership" mission from your questlog if you leave the planet without finishing it. * Several improvements to the Rebuild Jedi Enclave cutscene on Dantooine. * Telos surface; Added lipsync to one of Atton's line since it was missing. * Updated Vash bodies' lightsaber drop. *** The following 2 fixes modify feat.2da. Be aware if you use mods overwriting this it will undo those fixes; * The Jedi Weapon Master and Sith Maurader may purchase the Condition (+saving throw) line of feats. * Restored the Mobility feat. The mobility feat gives a 10% increase in movement rate. (thanks to BarnzyBobble for his assistance in testing if it worked properly) 3.6 Changelist 1.8 - 1.8.1 ---------- * Modified KOTOR main screen texture (used in the main menu and on loading screens) to make it easier for Steam and KOTOR-compilation users to notice if TSLRCM is properly installed, considering they do not have a launcher, and "how do I notice it's installed properly" was becoming a very popular question. NOTE: When using the patch it's only an indication that the patch installed properly, not 1.8 as a whole. If in doubt, please re-install TSLRCM 1.8.1 using the full installer. If the main screen is updated then it indicates the entire mod is updated properly. * Includese Inverted Droid Feat Gain by Hassat Hunter. ** Fixes the feat gain progression of T3 and Goto being swapped around with the feat gain of HK-47. It's correct now, with HK-47 gaining more feats than them rather than less. * Fixed convo break with Nar Shaddaa arrival scene for male players, and fixed requirement check in convo scanning for handmaiden instead of Visas, leaving Disicple's convo options untriggerable. * Fixed breaking Nar Shaddaa questline by talking to Ratrin before Cahhmakt. This is no longer possible. * Fixed bug where talking to Cahhmakt with an NPC instead of the player would leave that NPC "locked", unable to join your party. * Fixed issue on Ebon Hawk with post-Peragus dialogue with Atton not proceeding properly to the Lightsaber dialogue if certain dialogue options were selected. * Fixed bronze saber turning other saber also bronze when loading a savegame if dual-wielding. (thank Fair Shade for the fix!) * Fixed Handmaiden's armor not being properly returned to the inventory when dueling on the Ebon Hawk. * Corrected small issues with Malachor loading screen story hints, like the first being completely blank. * Included updated k_003ebo_enter.nss and a_next_scene.nss to 003EBO.mod for modmakers, the version included with 1.8 was outdated. * Fixed Vrook's lightsaber not activating properly in the rebuild enclave. (Thanks Qui Don Jorn) English version; * Fixed subtitle error; HK when talking about "his whiny allies" subtitles "her whiny allies". * Fixed Zhug brother mentioning "him" for female PC's on Goto's Yacht. * On Dantooine right outside the Ebon Hawk, when asking the "Battered Protocol Droid" what it knows specifically of your character, it says "You are on the register as one of the Jedi who left the Enclave to fight in the Mandolorian Wars. Should be spelt "Mandalorian." * Fixed map note in the HK factory missing it's description. * Fixed minor typo when clicking on the locked door for the reserved section in the Jekk Jekk Tarr. 4. Mod Compatibility: ---------- The following mods are known to have specific install instructions to work properly with TSLRCM 1.8.5 * Game Balance Mod by Achilles - ONLY use Autobalance.2da, don't use any of the other files with the mod!!! * Improved AI by Stoffe (AKA RevanAnt) - While this mod mostly works, it cause some problems with one scene on Nar Shaddaa (you might be unable to select a third teammember during a cutscene and then have to weather some hard battles with just Bao-Dur and Atton). * Enchanced Merchants by Shem - We've modified many of the merchants, for the modified loot drops and other fixes, which will most likely be undone by using this mod. So be aware of that! *Kamaitachis Epic Armours - Read the full description to see how to make it properly work with TSLRCM! Mods requiring compatibility patches (check deadlystream for comp patches): * Handmaiden Choice for Females by Stoffe (AKA RevanAnt) * Admirality Mod by Jinger (AKA Kreia) * M4-78 by Stoney - Use M4-78EP instead! * Slender Female Bodies The following mods are INCOMPATIBLE! Do NOT use these when using TSLRCM 1.8.5! This is by no means a full list. Mods not listed here can still be incompatible. If you're in doubt, check or ask in our forums! FAQ / KNOWN ISSUES --------- Q. I am having technical issues with The Sith Lords! A. Try the Steam forums. Even if you do not possess the game it does contain many threads about issues and their sollutions, a quick search might just find you the answer you need. Q. How do I know TSLRCM is installed? The main screen is unchanged. A. If the mainscreen is unchanged, TSLRCM isn't installed. Mostly this is related to people installing to the wrong location. Double-check yours (see install instruction #4). Q. Crash when loading a savegame. The loading screen is corrupted by strange lights all over it. A. Issue with modern Nvidia graphic drivers. NOT caused by TSLRCM. To fix; In the Nvidia control panel put Threaded Optimization to "OFF" and uncheck the "read-only" property of your KotOR II directory. Q. There are no Handmaidens at the academy/Stuck infront of the Hawk after the Academy. A. You have overwritten our appearance.2da with an incompatible version of another mod, missing certain key entries needed for TSLRCM to work properly. If you still have the original TSLRCM appearance.2da replace it, otherwise a full re-install of TSLRCM is required. In both cases a save is needed from before entering the academy. Q. I lost my team at the academy/black screen when entering Ebon Hawk after academy/Atton, Kreia or Bao-Dur don't talk to me when I click them. A. Sadly, this is a vanilla bug we cannot fix, since the files cannot be de-compiled. It's related to fighting the Handmaiden sisters on the battle mat and "cheating" before they become hostile, giving an error in the script to return your team members. You will have to load a save from before this fight. Q. The screen becomes black when loading the Jedi Masters scene in the Rebuild Enclave A. This is due to the module using a custom Kreia with special animations for the cutscenes. If any Kreia-altering skins or mods override this, the result is this black screen. Uninstall your Kreia-skin altering mods for the duration of this module... Q. After changing the Ebon Hawk's transponder codes, the Duros scene repeats itself and Goto's Yacht doesn't load. A. In some rare instances the new globals TSLRCM added aren't added to savegames. This is why we suggest playing a new game. In this case the global for the Duros hasn't been increased by 1, leaving the same cutscene. Enabling the cheatmode in the .ini, then using (without quotes) "warp 351nar" will let you continue on without further issues Q. I cannot spar with the Handmaiden! A. Due to a bug, sparring with Handmaiden while in outer space (directly after leaving the Telos Academy) made the fight unwinnable. So for TSLRCM you will have to travel to another planet, exit and re-enter for the option to appear, giving a glitch-free sparring. It's not gone, no worries! Q. When the HK Factory loads, I am spawned on Telos as the Exile, instead of as HK-47 / I get a black screen when arriving on Malachor. I use USM. A. TSLRCM 1.8.5 is not USM compatbile. Q. The game crashes when the Nihilus/Visas or Nihilus/Tobin cutscene loads. A. Delete n_darthnihilu001.ntc from your override. Q. While in Visquis' lair, when Kreia revives Hanharr, it suddenly turns back to Atton. A. Delete p_kreia001.utc from your override. Q. Double Atrises during final confrontation/No dialogue after sisters are defeated. A. Delete the following files from your override, and load a save from before starting the confrontation: a_atrend2.ncs a_atrend3.ncs a_kreatris.ncs a_sisend.ncs n_darthtraya001.utc Q. No HK-Torture scene/Missing restored EH-scenes/Get stuck in Ebon Hawk on my way to Malachor. A. Delete k_003ebo_enter.ncs from your override. Q. Dialogue fast-forwards/cutscenes without sound. A. Engine issue. Not caused by TSLRCM. Unfortunately, we cannot fix this. May this happen, do a full reboot of the game, and it should work properly again. Q. I have issues with the grass on Dxun/Rebuild Enclave. A. This appears to be an issue with ATI-videocards. Try using the textures found here; http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2824280&postcount=14 Q. Why haven't you fished the issue on Peragus where you need to lower the difficulty to proceed as T3? A. This is no issue. Playing on hard you need another way through the door rather than the mine, deleting some goodies in the process. It's not required to lower your difficulty. Q. Does the mod include [x]? A. Please check our semi-complete inclusion list at: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/139-whats-restored-in-tslrcm/ Q. Why did you fix [x], that wasn't a bug, that was a feature. A. We have a pretty good indication from developer nodes and scripts what is intended and what not. It's very likely that the bug was infact a bug, and never intended. Developers rarely intend to add bugs and exploits to their game... Q. My question is not answered here! A. Feel free to ask us at our official forum; http://deadlystream.com/forum/ You can also ask at moddb, but I visit that site less frequent... 6. DISTRIBUTION NOTES ---------- Thanks to DeadlyStream for giving us space on his forums and all the people of the TSL community that helped with bug finding in the beta. Thanks to tk102 for the dlg editor. Thank you to the members of Team Gizka for finding out about the missing HK factory modules and all the content that was cut from KotorTSL and making sense of it all, because without all their previous efforts and hard work none of this would be possible. Thanks to Jdnoa and Dashus for the tools they created for which none of this would be possible without them. A special thanks to Ulic for his original Peragus mod; while none of his work or files were used in our fixing of Peragus, a lot of his ideas and “how” things were changed were the inspiration for how we tackled them. His list of fixed stuff in the readme helped too! HD NPC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20201004 - by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds 30 high resolution (1K) portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers. I did some amount of normalizing the gradients behind the characters. I think Disciple and Mira are the only ones with non-standard background gradients now. This package includes portrait for HK-50 and HK-51 units. They aren't used in any existing mods I'm aware of; I just put them in because they made sense to have. You can remove them if you wish. The Atris portrait is unused in the vanilla game but may be used by playable Atris mods. I only included it because it existed in the vanilla assets. INSTALL / UNINSTALL To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy. -

Short story: Repeating blasters were originally intended to give the user an additional attack in every round of combat (like twin-blade melee weapons do). This mod implements that effect. I.e. a character without force speed would normally do 1 attack when using a repeater, 2 when using rapid shot as well. Now, 2 attacks will be done when using the default attack and 3 when using rapid shot. Long story: After investigating in 2015 what could be the reason for repeaters costing more (500 vs 300) credits while having a worse crit range (5% vs 10%) than blaster rifles while having no advantage whatsoever, I found out that repeaters were originally intended to give the user an additional attack per round, sort of making them the double-blades of the blasters. Sadly, this was never implemented, as one internal item comment even comments on. I didn't know enough about scripting back then and quickly lost interest in fixing this. But now, more than 3 years later, it's finally fixed via scripting, placing the required code in the k_ai_master script. Known issues: Due to hardcoded mechanics, power blast can never do more than 1 attack, and sniper shot never more than 2. Normal attack appears to usually only do 2, but may rarely do 3 when using force speed as well. Sadly, these cannot be changed without access to the game code. This information turned out to be incorrect, and the user Darg727 made a fix for this. However, this has a downside: It works by making power blast and sniper shot always shoot 4 shots regardless of how many attacks are available, which looks very strange because all shots that don't have a corresponding attack round are auto-misses. For example, using a sniper shot with a blaster rifle or single pistol will cause 4 shots to be fired simultaneously, like a shotgun blast, with 3 of the 4 automatically hitting the floor/ceiling/wall. Using knight speed would allow 2 of those 4 to hit and only 2 would be an auto-miss, etc.... As per Darg727's upload permissions, I have included the responsible file (weapondischarge.2da) as an optional mod in the download for additional visibility for those people that might want to use the feature but would not come across his modification otherwise. Compatible with any mod that does not edit the k_ai_master.ncs file, and incompatible with any that does. (However, it is easy for any modder to add the compatibility, source is included.) Note that this fix works for both the player and enemies! This can make some fights of the game slightly more challenging. -

In the vanilla game, Yavin Station is the only location that does not have a proper hangar where the player can walk to and from the Ebon Hawk. This mod adds one that generally matches the original landing and takeoff cutscenes, although I have taken a few artistic liberties. You may notice that, as with the original cutscenes, it looks remarkably similar to the Ahto City hangar on Manaan. I can only assume that the same architect worked on both projects. The hangar comes in two variants: with and without a visible forcefield effect over the hangar entrance. By default, the forcefield is invisible. To change between the visible and invisible forcefields, see the INSTALLATION instructions below. Aside from adding the new hangar, I have also made a few additional edits to the station: - Changed the stars to use a different, less-repetitive vanilla star texture. - Fixed some questionable geometry at the main observation window. - Edited the walkmesh by the observation window to correct a glitch where the player could teleport into space, originally documented by the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP). (This mod's walkmesh fixes were made from scratch and do not reuse any K1CP material.) - Added a proper load screen for the station. (New for version 1.4) - Added corridor geometry behind the various locked doors, in place of the original 2D backdrop. (New for version 1.4) IMPORTANT: To experience the new hangar, you will need a save from before visiting Yavin Station for the first time. ALSO IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from version 1.3 or earlier, a new save is also recommended to avoid issues with the lighting on the new airlock doors. Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod! ------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION Run INSTALL.exe, and follow the prompts. If you have other mods installed, it is normal to see a warning that liv_m99aa.mod already exists and has been skipped. If you are using "High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" by Sithspecter, see below for additional instructions. By default, the forcefield at the hangar entrance is invisible. To add a visible forcefield effect, run INSTALL.exe again after finishing the main installation, and select "Optional: Add Visible Forcefield". If you have previously installed version 1.3 or earlier of this mod, you can upgrade by installing directly over the old version. Note, however, that you may need to reinstall any other mods which affect Yavin Station (specifically, any mods that edit m50aa.git). Version 1.4 changes the appearance of the added airlock doors so that they look less like the Sith base doors. If you prefer the appearance from version 1.0, copy the files in the folder "Option - Alternate Airlock Door (v1_0)" into Override. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPATIBILITY This mod is incompatible with other mods that edit the area geometry of Yavin Station. Reskins are technically compatible, but depending on how drastic they are, they might look strange with a few new textures from this mod. If you are using a reskin of the Ebon Hawk's exterior, see the instructions below. This mod is compatible with the Kotor 1 Community Patch (K1CP). It has not been tested with the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) or the K1 Yavin IV Planet Mod, but I do not expect any significant compatibility issues. For best results, install this mod after K1CP or K1R and before any other mods that alter Yavin Station. If you are using any mods that change the station's load screen (i.e. "Loadscreens in Color" by Sithspecter), install them after this one. If they use .tga files, you will need to delete this mod's version of "load_liv_m99aa.tpc" from Override manually. ------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH QUALITY COCKPIT SKYBOXES If you are using "High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" by Sithspecter (which I highly recommend), I have included compatible skybox textures matching my new hangar. After installing the cockpit skyboxes, perform the following steps: 1. Open the folder "HQ Cockpit Skybox Textures" from this mod. 2. Copy the TPC files corresponding to the desired quality into your Override folder. 3. If present, delete the following files from Override: - ebo_yab.tga - ebo_yaf.tga - ebo_yal.tga - ebo_yar.tga - ebo_yat.tga If you are using the alternate airlock door option, also copy the appropriate version of "ebo_yaf.tpc" from the "Alternate Airlock Door" folder into Override, overwriting if asked. "High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes" may be found at https://deadlystream.com/files/file/938-high-quality-cockpit-skyboxes/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- EBON HAWK RESKINS To use a reskin of the Ebon Hawk's exterior with the new hangar, perform the following steps: 1. Make extra copies of "LSF_EHawk01.tga" and "LSF_EHawk01.txi" (if present) from the reskin, and rename them as "yvh_ehawk.tga" and "yvh_ehawk.txi", respectively. 2. Open the new "yvh_ehawk.txi" with a text editor, and change the entry after "envmaptexture" or "bumpyshinytexture" to "CM_WK_YAVHGR". 3. Copy both files into your Override folder. 4. Delete "yvh_ehawk.tpc" from your Override folder. ------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS MDLedit and KOTORmax by bead-v KotorBlender by seedhartha tpcview and tga2tpc by ndix UR NWNSSCOMP by Torlack, stoffe, and tk102 DeNCS by JdNoa and Dashus K-GFF by tk102 TSL Patcher by stoffe and Fair Strides ERFEdit by stoffe and Fair Strides Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra New textures and models were based on existing KOTOR material by Bioware. Logical Datapads by Sdub & ebmar Version: 1.0.0 Description: One thing KOTOR seems to have is an almost endless supply of datapad items. Oh, but what are they called? Oh well “Datapad” of course. I was inspired by TSL for this mod as this is not a problem in TSL. What many people and especially new players don’t know is that the Datapad items are there sometimes to give hints to quests or flesh out the lore, Hell one of them straight up GIVES you the solution, but it’s lost in a sea of “Datapads”. After talking with @ebmar who is much more experienced with the TSL Patcher liked my idea and was onboard, I immediately got to work on new titles. I did my best to have them make sense in context and situation they are acquired. This modifies Datapads and Journal Items. (Which are really all datapads) I hope you enjoy, please let me know if you have any problems. I did my best to test it as much as I could. I did not encounter any issues. You will need to start a new game to see this mod work correctly. One final thing to note, this mod was made with widescreen mods in mind, I am unsure how it will respond to the normal aspect ratio. Installation: Run TSLPatcher.EXE and locate your swkotor folder Compatibility: Will not be compatible with anything that modifies existing datapad .UTI files K1R Compatible: Yes Tools Used: TSL Patcher ChangeEdit KOTOR Tool xoreos-tools Big thanks to the KOTOR Modding Discord! -

This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I. The main improvements are the addition of ears and slimming down on the Bib Fortuna necks. Other tweaks include better smoothing groups, fixed teeth and eyelids, and recolored tongues. The ears were created using modified assets ported from SWTOR. There's two options for installation. Option A uses the slim necks, while Option B retains the original necks. I highly recommend the first option as it fixes clipping with collars on heavy armor and it's the main choice for other mods which use my files. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod's a nice visual improvement that adds a much-needed element of consistency with other humanoid head models in the game. The KOTOR II can be found here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, run Installer.exe, select the option you want, and proceed with the installation. To uninstall this mod, run the installer again, select the same option, and click Tools -> Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod isn't compatible with any retextures of male Twi'lek heads unless that mod states otherwise. This mod has built-in compatibility with the K1 Community Patch and is also compatible with the K1 NPC Overhaul Mod. Either should be installed prior to installing this mod. I've given permission for this mod to be included in a few other projects. Be sure to check the descriptions of those mods to see if you need to install this first. Based on this request thread, this mod replaces the Jedi captive placeables used in the final confrontation with Darth Malak aboard the Star Forge. In the vanilla version of the game, these are all identical copies of the same male body using the PMHC04 (“Mullet Man”) head. New male and female versions of this placeable have been made, utilising a variety of heads from all three human races, and Twi’leks. All eight captives in the level are now unique and distinct from one another. Additionally, the flavour pop-up text for when you interact with the captives has been altered to change the male pronouns into neutral ones, so they work regardless of the subject’s gender. For those that wish it, an optional extra is included that adds these new Jedi as background NPCs to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine (N.B. as of v1.1, the pictured sparring circle has been removed due to the placeables.2da row limit bug described below). Known Issues: WARNING: A critical issue has been discovered with K1's placeables.2da, limiting the number of additional new entires that can be added to around 20 rows. This mod adds 8 rows. If you use multiple mods that add new rows to placeables.2da, you will likely encounter issues. DO NOT REINSTALL THIS MOD OVER A PREVIOUS VERSION! You will create the placeable overflow issue. In order for the Dantooine portion of the optional extra to take effect, you must use a save prior to leaving Taris. The courtyard portion will only take effect for saves prior to being allowed to exit the Academy. These additions are purely cosmetic, so their absence will have no material affect on the primary purpose of the mod. The core content of the mod will only work with a save prior to entering the final room on the Star Forge, but I assume (hope) most people aren't still installing mods that late in proceedings. Compatibility: The mod is compatible with K1CP. Make sure you install K1CP first. The core content of the mod should be compatible with most other mods, as the changes are restricted to the second-last module in the game (STA_M45AD). The optional content makes changes to the Dantooine Enclave's landing pad (DANM13) and courtyard (DANM14AA) modules. If you are using any mod that overwrites those modules (like Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod), make sure you install that mod first. This mod will patch its changes into pre-existing module files, so should be installed last. Changes in 1.2.1 should mean the Twi'lek master in the optional Dantooine content is now impervious to further hostile robe takeover attempts. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the TSL robes. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the hybrid robes. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @Kexikus for providing code for the NPC OnHeartbeat scripts. Thanks to @jc2 for the suggestion on how to fix the sparring circle combatant health bars. Thanks to @JCarter426 for suggesting the NotReorienting creature flag and for the TSL ported robe assets. Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit. Thanks to @ndix UR for MDLOps v1.0+ and TGA2TPC. Thanks to @StellarExile for pointing out the issue with VFX targeting the base of the model. I must be blind... Thanks to @todevuch for testing the hybrid robes compatibility patch. Thanks to @olegkuz1997 for pointing out that the placeables didn't use TLK StrRefs for their labels. Thanks to @Alice Reyneke for pointing out that pathfinding for the placeables was broken by a previous update. -

This mod makes the spacesuit and diving suit faceplates transparent so that you can see the head of the character wearing them, as opposed to the opaque faceplates on the vanilla suits. There is also an option to install only the diving suits, if you prefer the spacesuits to keep their mirrored vanilla faceplates (similar to real spacesuits). I have also made the following edits to the suit models: - Adjusted texture UVs to hide texture regions that appear unfinished. - Added a bright texture to the squares on either side of the faceplate (which were apparently intended to look like lights but instead appeared reflective in the vanilla game). - Added light beams and in-game light sources to the diving suit to simulate helmet-mounted floodlights. (I have also included an option that does not have these lights if you prefer.) - Added a new environment map for the spacesuit which approximates the surroundings during the spacewalk. I have also included two optional variations: - No Diving Suit Floodlights - Omits the diving suit's new floodlights - Less Transparent Spacesuit Faceplates - Reduces the transparency of the spacesuit's faceplate, if you prefer a more mirrored look but would still like some transparency. The diving suit is not affected by this option. Please note that if you are using a non-vanilla player head, the diving suit and spacesuit will default back to the vanilla-style mirrored faceplates. See the "Compatibility" section below for further information. IMPORTANT: A save from before exploring the Manaan seafloor for the first time is required. Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod! ------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION Run INSTALL.exe and select the install directory for your game. Select which version of the mod you would like to install from the drop-down menu at the top of the window, and click the "Install" button. The "Full Install" options make changes to both the space suits and the diving suits, while the "Diving Suits Only" options only affect the diving suits. IMPORTANT: - Select one of the "K1CP 1.10+" options if you are using KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) version 1.10 or higher. If you are using K1CP 1.9.2 or lower, use one of the "General" options. - Select one of the "K1R" options if you are using the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) with the option "Party on the Sea Floor". If you are using K1R without "Party on the Sea Floor", use one of the "General" options. If you would like to use the "No Diving Suit Floodlights" or "Less Transparent Spacesuit Faceplates" options, select the corresponding option from the drop-down menu after the main installation is complete, and click "Install" again. This mod includes the Windows version of HoloPatcher for installation. If you are running on Mac or Linux, you can find the appropriate versions of HoloPatcher here, along with the latest Windows version: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2243-holopatcher/. This mod requires HoloPatcher version 1.5.2 or higher of HoloPatcher. If you have other mods installed, it is normal to see warnings that some or all of the following files already exist and have been skipped: - appearance.2da - heads.2da - lev40ad.mod - manm28aa.mod - manm28ab.mod - manm28ac.mod - manm28ad.mod Selecting the "Diving Suits Only" option will still install the UV fixes and new environment map for the spacesuit. If you do not want these changes, delete the following files from Override: - UV Fixes: spacesuit01.mdl, spacesuit01.mdx - Environment Map: P_WaterSuit02.txi If you would like to edit the scripts in this mod for personal use, please note that most of the provided script source files cannot be directly compiled because they include 2DA memory tokens, placeholders which are automatically replaced by appearance.2da row numbers when compiled during installation. Running the installer and selecting the option "MODDING TOOL: Build Script Source" will save copies of the source scripts to the subfolder "temp_nss_working_dir" within "tslpatchdata" with the necessary appearance.2da row references automatically filled in. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) and the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R). Note that if you are using K1CP 1.10 or higher or K1R with the "Party on the Sea Floor" option, you must install the appropriate option as described in the "Installation" section above. It is not compatible with any mods that alter the following files: - k_plev_airouopn2.ncs - k_pman_airlock02.ncs - k_pman_airlock03.ncs - k_pman_airlock11.ncs - k_pman_starmap05.nss - k_pman_starmap02.nss (K1CP 1.10+ installation option only. K1CP itself is, of course, the exception that is compatible.) This mod's edits to m28ad_01a.wok are sufficiently minor that overwriting this mod's version with one from another mod will not cause any significant issues. For best results, install this mod after K1CP, K1R, or any other mods that make significant edits to: - The walk speed of the space/diving suits - The module with the Leviathan spacewalk - The Manaan seafloor or undersea base modules This mod is compatible with reskins and texture mods that affect vanilla heads. It will not conflict with mods that edit the MDL/MDX files of vanilla heads, but the changes to the head model will not carry over to the head seen inside the spacesuit. Similarly, due to the nature of a work-around used by this mod, any mods that edit the Star Map MDL/MDX will not affect the Manaan Star Map. Mods that reskin the Star Map are compatible. Due to the way this mod is implemented, the environment suit faceplates will still be opaque if you use a non-vanilla player head. If you would like to see a non-vanilla head in the spacesuit, I have included instructions for making the new head compatible with this mod. For further information, please see "Instructions to Add New Heads.pdf". ------------------------------------------------------------------- LIMITATIONS AND KNOWN BUGS The new lights on the diving suit do not equally affect all objects, likely due to game engine limitations. If you are using the compatibility patch for the K1R "Party on the Sea Floor" option, your weapons will not be reequipped automatically when you reenter the underwater base. This is a work-around for a bug where party members were somehow still able to use blasters underwater to shoot the Firaxan sharks. Apologies for the inconvenience. ------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS KotorBlender by seedhartha tpcview and tga2tpc by ndix UR NWNSSCOMP by Torlack and tk102 DeNCS by JdNoa and Dashus K-GFF by tk102 HoloPatcher by Cortisol and th3w1zard1 ERFEdit by stoffe and Fair Strides Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra Thanks to Nehua for suggesting an option to keep the mirrored faceplates on the spacesuits. Thanks also to Salk for suggesting an option with intermediate transparency. A big thank you to th3w1zard1 and Cortisol for their time and effort spent upgrading HoloPatcher to be able to compile all of the scripts in this mod. Vanilla scripts are based on the K1CP team's repository of unaltered, decompiled vanilla scripts (found at https://github.com/KOTORCommunityPatches/Vanilla_KOTOR_Script_Source). This mod makes use of the script function CP_RemoveForceSpeed developed by the K1CP team. The K1R-compatible version of k_pman_airlock11.ncs/nss includes edits originally developed by the K1R team. Similarly, the K1CP-compatible version of k_pman_starmap02.nss includes edits developed by the K1CP team. ------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION HISTORY 1.0 - Initial Release 1.1 - Added option to install only the diving suits (suggested by Nehua). 1.2 - Added option to reduce the spacesuit faceplate's transparency (suggested by Salk). - Applied spacesuit environment map with a TXI file instead of a full TPC to improve compatibility with mods that reskin or upscale the original texture (also suggested by Salk). 1.3 - Added work-around for the Star Map to render properly when seen through the diving suit faceplate - Revised suit bubbles to more closely match vanilla behavior - Revised inner suit geometry around neck - Adjusted head motion during walking and running animations - Added code to Manaan airlock scripts to clear Force Speed before going out to the seafloor (vanilla issue originally documented by the K1CP team) - Streamlined the K1R installation process - Switched installer to HoloPatcher to improve cross-platform installability. Special thanks to th3w1zard1 and Cortisol for their substantial efforts to improve HoloPatcher's script compiling ability. ------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER AND PERMISSIONS This modification is provided as-is and is not supported by Disney, Lucasarts, or Bioware. Security spikes are disposable items that give the player a temporary boost to their Security skill when activated, helping them pick more difficult locks. At least, that's how it's supposed to be. That's how they work on the Xbox version, and in KOTOR 2, but security spikes don't actually do anything at all on the PC version of KOTOR 1. The cause seems to be some sort of bug in the GUI that prevents security spikes from ever appearing in their intended slot. So when interacting with a door, there isn't an option to scroll from the Security skill to security spikes, as there is in KOTOR 2. The GUI was changed for the port from Xbox to PC, and security spikes probably got left out due to oversight. I couldn't find any way to resolve the issue, though, so I came up with two alternative options. Option A Option A replicates the security spikes' intended function as best as I could manage. They’ve been given an activate item property and appear in the non-medical item slot (along with stimulants and shields). When a character activates a security spike, they receive a temporary boost to their Security skill and proceed to unlock the nearest door or container. Apart from the boost, the skill check for the lock is the same as usual: 1d20 + Security vs. the lock’s DC. Security spikes are single-use and discarded whether the character succeeds in picking the lock or not; however, they are not used up if the attempt was impossible – if there wasn’t anything in range or the lock required a special keycard, for example. Regular security tunnelers grant a +5 bonus and security spike tunnelers grant a +10 bonus. Option B Option B removes security spikes from the game, replacing them with credits. The value is equivalent to the most you could get from selling the original security spike items to a merchant. Mission’s ability to create security spikes on the Ebon Hawk is removed. -

Pretty Good! Icons for KotOR 1.0 by ajdrenter Description: This is a complete set of vanilla equipment icons for high resolution UI scaled configurations. Future updates will include mod specific icons. This mod is intended to be used with "KotOR High Resolution Menus" by ndix UR. The goal of this mod is not to fix any consistency issues or design oversights of Bioware's icons, rather it is to replace them as seamlessly and accurately as possible. Installation: Just drag and drop either the tpc OR tga files to your override. I recommend the tga version for maximum compatibility, as you may want to mix and match with other mods. Credits: Darth Tomer, SpaceAlex, and ebmar for "Three-tiered Dark Jedi Robe". A couple skins from this mod were used to more closely match the vanilla icons. Bioware and Lucasarts for all original assets. Thanks to the whole community for such a wonderful wealth of content over the years. Usage: You may use this mod for any non commercial use and without contacting me as long as you give me credit for my assets. -

This is a companion to my K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix mod. In a similar manner, it adjusts the model file for K1's main menu so that it properly fills the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). It is designed to be used in conjunction with ndix UR’s KotOR High Resolution Menus mod (as pictured). But of course the major feature is that it swaps out Darth Malak for Darth Revan. There are four versions included: Version A uses the vanilla Revan N_DarthRevan01 texture, upscaled to 2048x2048. This texture will override the original and be used by the Revan stunt model (or flowing robes mods) during the game. Alternatively, the menu model will make use of any third party texture of the same name, should you prefer those. Version B uses a uniquely named texture, so it will not override the one used in-game, and the menu model will not make use of third party textures. Additionally, the envmap mask on this texture was adjusted to tone down the shininess of the chest and arms, as I found that a bit too overpowering. Version C uses a further modified version of B's texture to also adjust the colour of the helmet/mask visor to make it a little more apparent. Version D takes this a step further and adds a slight glow (self-illumination) to the visor. Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look. Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model (including my own - although the replacement KOTOR logos are compatible). As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod. N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. Installation Instructions Extract the archive, navigate to the folder that contains your desired version, copy and paste the files into your Override folder, overwriting if prompted. If you are using version A and wish to use someone else's texture, don't copy N_DarthRevan01.tpc. Known Issues The crossed over belts lack a proper animation, so they are basically static. Even scaled up the Revan model lacks the shoulder width of the Malak model, so crossing the arms was a bit difficult to replicate. Acknowledgements Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax. Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC. Thanks to @ebmar for enquiring about the feasibility of the Malak/Revan swap, leading me down the rabbit hole of actually making the mod. -

Restored Content for K1CP [DEMO] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.7.0 Demo Release Date: 03.08.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! No exceptions! Once you click on the INSTALL.exe, you'll be given five options. Main Mod- This is the installation which installs the RC-K1CP mod. Lite NPCs Restored- This restores the Lite NPCs that were removed in the K1CP, install this option if you want these back in your game. Restored Gloveless Clothing- Left over textures and pre-release screenshots suggests that the commoner clothing didn't always have gloves that hid the NPCs hands, with this option installed all the generic NPCs will have exposed hands that correspond with the skin color of that NPCs race (White, Black and Asian). This option is fully compatible with the K1 Clothing Pack but is incompatible with Dark Hope's Commoner Clothing reskins. Restored Sith Officer Uniforms- Restores the unused Sith Officer uniform variants throughout the game, this option is incompatible with Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation. Restored Party Dialogue- As of right now, this option restores unused lines for Canderous' dialogue about Korriban. This option is cripplingly incompatible with mods that edit "k_hcan_dialog.dlg" so don't install this option if that file is already in your Override folder. Description: The Kotor 1 Community Patch (K1CP) is the biggest bug fix mod for Kotor 1 and is arguably the number one go-to mod for Kotor 1, similar to TSLRCM for Kotor 2. The Kotor 1 Restoration (K1R) mod is NOT compatible with the K1CP and as such players have to pick between hundreds of bug fixes offered by the K1CP or the restored content of K1R, they couldn't pick both... until now! Restored Content for K1CP is a restoration mod for Kotor 1 which has been developed for use alongside the K1CP mod, with this mod installed you shall experience restored content alongside the bug fixes of the K1CP mod. This mod also does not follow the same "rules" as K1R, that means this mod might restore cut content that K1R didn't restore either because the original K1R Dev Team didn't want to restore it or because they didn't know about it. This mod is an INDEPENDENT project developed by a single modder (and any future contributors) with no connection to the original K1R mod, everything in this mod was developed from scratch as getting permission to use K1R assets is impossible due to the disappearance of the K1R team leader. This mod is a DEMO meaning it does not restore all the cut content that K1R restores, future updates shall add more content and fix any bugs present in the mod. Whilst this mod is a Demo, it is not necessarily incomplete... what little restored content this mod has to offer is complete and will not standout as unfinished (in terms of the mod itself, your opinion on the cut content might be different). If you have feedback or any bugs to report for the next update, I urge you to report these to me so that the Restored Content for K1CP mod may be the best it can be! Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have any bugs but if there are please report them to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: To be added! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: SithRevan (RIP): Beginning the restoration effort for K1! K1R Team: For developing the original K1R mod! Leilukin: For granting me permission to integrate her Juhani Dialogue Restoration mod into the RC-K1CP! SpaceAlex: For making the Bastila's Extra Dialog on Tatooine and allowing modders to use it freely! A Future Pilot: For kickstarting the K1 Community Patch mod and for making the Sith Soldier Texture Restoration mod and allowing modders to use it freely! ======================================================== KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC SOURCE FILE ======================================================== New_Lightsaber_Blade_Model_K1_v1 ================================= Author: Crazy34 Contact: PM me on Deadlystream For: K1 Date: 03/02/2021 ================================= DESCRIPTION: The vanilla lightsaber blades in Kotor and TSL look bad in my opinion. So, I tried to improve them by adding a dynamic ambient light to the blade (environmental lightning), which works quite well. Since this is hard-coded in the model I also optimized the blade plane models to have a different UV layout inspired by Sithspecter's work. I also simplified their geometry and fixed the different brightness bug (different brightness of the blade when viewed from the front compared to the back). Additionally, I included 3D models for the core of the blade and the inner glow of the blade, which can now be used to create black core sabers as seen in SWTOR. The glow - as well as the models - are fully animated to work as the vanilla blades. The hilts are updated together with the blades including hilts from Kaidon Jorn's SLM 2.0 mod. Summary: - All saber hilts are updated with hilts from Kaidon Jorn SLM 2.0 mod (I love it!) All credits for the hilt models, textures and icons go fully to him! - Ambient light for lightsabers - 3D models for blade core and inner glow - Symmetric lightsaber blade planes with a modified version of Sithspecter's crossguard saber UV layout. (Compatible with his unstable textures also included with all credits going to Sithspecter.) - Black core sabers are possible - Homogeneous brightness of the blade (no more “brighter blades when viewed from the front” happening any more) - All sabers are fully upgradeable (added black core and unstable crystals as well as crossguard versions of them) How to use the new lightsabers: Get the black core, unstable and crossguard sabers or crystals by cheating them by using the giveitem command or use KSE to include them in your inventory. The item codes are organized as follows: Lightsaber and crystal follow the standard naming scheme: Black core: 51-60 Unstable: 21-30 Crossguard: 101-110 Crossguard, black core: 111-120 Crossguard, unstable: 91-100 For example: giveitem u_l_colo_51 (Blue, Black core crystal) giveitem u_l_colo_92 (Red, unstable crossguard crystal) giveitem g_w_lghtsbr118 (Viridian, crossguard unstable lightsaber) giveitem g_w_dblsbr025 (Purple, unstable double blade lightsaber) giveitem g_w_shortsbr53 (Green, black core short lightsaber) For the TSL colors such as Viridian, Silver, and Bronze; you can get the crystals with the following giveitem codes. giveitem u_l_colo_07 (Silver) giveitem u_l_colo_09 (Viridian) giveitem u_l_colo_10 (Bronze) !!!! Important: If you put a crossguard crystal in either a short lightsaber or double blade lightsaber the crystal will be transformed into its normal non crossguard version! I HOPE that in the future some talented texture artist will create better looking blade textures using these new blade models. I plan to upload a Modders Resource explaining the blade system in detail. CREDITS: Kaidon Jorn: Lightsaber Hilts models and textures and icons are created by Kaidon Jorn and taken from his SLM 2.0 mod, which you can find here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/551-schematic-lightsaber-mod-slm/ Thank you very much for the permission to use your models and hilts here. They are amazing and I enjoyed working with them. Sithspecter: The new layout for the lightsaber blades plane models are inspired by Sithspecter's animated Crossguard Lightsabers mod for KOTOR which can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1314-crossguard-lightsabers/ Thank you very much for the permission to include your animated unstable blade texture and to modified them to include the new TSL colors. ___________________________________________________________ COMPATIBILITY: It should pretty much be compatible with any mod that doesn't use the same crystal and lightsaber model slots. However, please notify me in the release thread if any bugs do appear that are not listed below.) ___________________________________________________________ INSTALLATION: Use the TSLPatcher multiple times. You can choose which lightsabers you want. So, for example say you are only interested in the normal saber update and the related crossguard sabers: Then install the standard saber first and second run the TSLpatcher again and install the crossguard sabers. The crossguard sabers require to have their related non-crossguard sabers installed first. The TSLPatcher is set up to only install a certain part of the mod and requires multiple runs to install all sabers. It should install everything correctly. UNINSTALL: Navigate to the backup folder and place the contents into the Override folder. Remove all files from the tslpatchdata folder of this mod from your override folder. ___________________________________________________________ BUGS: The tip of the blade has a spike which comes from a deformation of the lightsaber planes. This is also present in the original model. I was not able to find a fix. (Sorry about that.) The lightsaber hilts will clip through the blades. (Unfortunately, DarthParametric has said that it is not possible to fix this.) ___________________________________________________________ PERMISSIONS: You may use this mod as you see fit. Display it in screenshots, make it compatible with your mod. However, do please give credit where it's due, and DO NOT release it with any of your mods without my permission. If you have any ideas for improvements, or if you want to you can mod them yourselves and include them in the mod. Saves me time and I'll give you credit for what I put in. ___________________________________________________________ THANKS: Fred Tetra: All the thanks for KotOR Tool. TK102: All the thanks for K-GFF. ndix UR: All the thanks for the kotorblender plugin, which I used to create the blade 3d models. bead-v: All the thanks for Mdledit and constantly updating it. Without it this mod would not be possible. Thanks also for the comments on the ascii code. Kaidon Jorn: All the thanks for giving me the permission for using the hilts textures and icons. With these included this is a real mod. Thank you so much. Sithspecter: All the thanks for giving me the permission to include his animated blade textures and to modify them. Also i want to thank you for inspiring me to start modding KOTOR in the first place. Jorak Uln: All the thanks for the constant feedback, suggestions and beta testing of the preliminary versions of the mod. JCarter426: I want to thank him for providing information regarding lights in KOTOR and the documentation. DarthParametric: I want to thank him for answering all my questions and being so helpful when creating and tuning of the models. Sith Holocron: For minor proofreading of the mod documents. For the initial feedback on the ambient light, I want to thank: DarthVarkor, Stormie97, ebmar. Also, I want to thank all the modders out there whose work I've consistently studied and learned from. ___________________________________________________________ LEGAL: THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. Gives Bastila a unique Force power based on the Battle Meditation power from TSL. *NOTE: This mod will only work properly on saves from before Bastila has joined your party.* DETAILS This mod essentially ports the "Improved Battle Meditation" Force power from KOTOR II and gives it to Bastila as a starting power instead of Force Aura. Like in TSL, the power adds +2 to attack rolls, damage, and will saves for all party members and -2 for enemies within a 10m radius for 20 seconds at a cost of 35 FP. It also increases vitality regeneration for the duration. The power is not selectable at level-up by the PC or party members and is only added as one of Bastille’s starting powers. The VFX and Force power icon are ported from TSL. In KOTOR II, Improved Battle Meditation is a level 12 power while this mod gives it to Bastila at level 3, so it's possible there's an effect on balance in the early game. I don't think it's too OP of a power but let me know if you have feedback. INSTALLATION To install, run TSLPatcher.exe. This is required. Don't try to copy the files over manually. NOTE: If you install on a save from after Bastila has already joined your party, she won't have the power and won’t be able to select it on level-up. You can use save editor to give her the power. If any files are modified, a backup folder of unmodified files will be created inside the mod folder. UNINSTALLATION To uninstall, remove spells.2da, visualeffects.2da, effecticon.2da, p_bastila.utc, fp_bmed.ncs, v_bmedit2_imp.mdl, v_bmedit2_imp.mdx, v_bmedit2r_imp.mdl , v_bmedit2r_imp.mdx, and ip_battlemed02.tga from the override folder. Replace unk_m44ac.mod in the modules folder with the version in the backup folder. Replace dialog.tlk in the main game folder with the version in the backup folder. Then move any remaining files in the backup folder to override. COMPATIBILITY Should be compatible with most other mods as long as they use TSLPatcher or you install this mod afterward. Could potentially conflict with other mods that edit Bastila's starting Force powers. PERMISSIONS Please don’t reupload without my permission. CREDITS offthegridmorty djh269 - endgame Bastila support, icon upscale & other tweaks - thanks! When fading, a portion of the screen fades out of sync with the rest of the screen while using widescreen resolutions. This is a simple fix to solve that issue. To use: 1. Download 2. Move the file from the folder that corresponds to your display resolution into your override folder. -

Start as you mean to go on. For KOTOR, that apparently means leave lots of holes in your level geometry. This mod plugs some gaps in the hull of the Endar Spire, and fixes a few UV issues. N.B. - THIS MOD IS NOW SUPERSEDED BY THE K1 COMMUNITY PATCH. DO NOT USE THIS MOD IF YOU ARE USING K1CP. IT ALREADY INCORPORATES ALL THESE FIXES, AND MORE BESIDES. Fixes: Plugs two strips that run along either side of the dead-end corridor on the Command Deck that are open to space. These are hard to see, but noticeable just above the windows in this section. Additionally, an alteration to the model's hierarchy was made so that the light strips now correctly animate. Removes an extraneous strip of mesh that was causing z-fighting issues (i.e. flickering) in the central corridor where the Jedi vs Sith fight occurs. Plugs two gaps in the room just before the escape pods in the Starboard Section. Additionally adjusts the lightmap UVs to remove a light bloom that occurred during baking due to the offset geometry. Fills some holes in the forked section of corridor in the Starboard Section just before the escape pod room. Also fixes some flipped UVs causing inverted wall trim textures in this area. Corrects some misaligned polys in an inset panel in the end wall of the escape pod room in the Starboard Section. Also adjusts the lightmap UVs of said polys to correct their baked lighting. Fixes some UVs causing inverted wall panel textures in a couple of corridor sections on both the Command Deck and Starboard Section. Installation: Simply copy the model files across to your Override folder Acknowledgements: Thanks to @JCarter426 for initially hunting down these holes and pointing them out to me Thanks to @ebmar for finding a number of additional issues Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit -

There are so-called "lite" alien models that are of lesser quality than most other models in the game. These include the Quarren and Gran species. Both aliens feature more prominently in the sequel and their models were given an overhaul. This mod ports the K2 versions of the models back to K1, improving the quality of models and creating a more consistent aesthetic. -

Summary This is a collection of various things that I found annoying enough to alter. I collect things that I don't think warrant their own mods into a single mod, to be released to the general public when it becomes more substantial. Contents I've divided this mod into five categories: Straight Fixes, Bug Fixes, Resolution Fixes, Aesthetic Improvements, and Things What Bother Me Fixes. Straight Fixes are fixes for issues I think are genuine errors or mistakes or oversights or what have you. There's a problem, here's a fix for it. No artistic license is involved. Bug Fixes really fall under straight fixes but I've separated them into their own category because they're more severe and there's absolutely no reason not to have them. They fix bugs that could potentially break your game. What I've included are either well known and easy for me to do a quick fix or came to my attention directly. There are lots of other bugs this mod doesn't fix, so I strongly suggest that you seek out a more extensive bug-fixing mod. Resolution Fixes are all textures from the game for which there were identical, higher resolution textures somewhere else in the game files. So I've swapped the lower resolution ones for the higher resolution ones. I've separated these from the straight fixes because a) I didn't make any of the content here - it's all extracted from the game, and b) they don't actually fix "problems" per se - it's just an increase in resolution. It looks the same, with slightly more pixels. Aesthetic Improvements are my attempts to improve the visual quality in certain areas. I've tried to maintain the original aesthetic of the game while improving the quality. But the nature of the improvements necessitates new content created by me. You might not like my work, or you might use a different mod that touches on these areas, or whatever, so I've isolated these from the other fixes. Things What Bother Me Fixes fix things what bother me. They might not bother you but they bother me, so I've isolated those as well. For a full release history, see the accompanied file. -

KotOR Saber Replacement 2022 (KSR) =========================== Author: Kaidon Jorn July 2022 This saber mod was built using the K1CP mod. It is mandatory that it be installed before this mod. You must also upon installation open up the swkotor.ini and under [Graphics Options]change the line "DisableVertexBufferObjects=1" to read "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" putting spaces between words. So here's a little thing I whipped up.... In this mod for Knights of the Old Republic, all Jedi party members and force wielding NPC's will come with their own unique lightsaber models. These hilt models from my stash have been updated with Crazy34's new lightsaber blade models with ambient lighting. There are also several unique lightsabers that will drop from enemy npc's or come as rewards for quests on each planet in the game. All saber textures have been redone to some extent in an attempt to update this mod from the old SotOR mod. =================================================================================================================== Installation: Run the .exe file after installing K1CP. Removal: A backup folder was created in the KSR main folder on installation, just replace all files into their relevant folders. Then delete all lightsaber files and dialog files that came with this mod within the Override folder. Thanks to: Crazy34 for his great work on new lightsaber blade models, and allowing me to convert my hilts to use his blades. Thanks to SithSpectre for the use of his Unstable Blade texture. JDub96 for helping out with *most* of the saber descriptions and giving me ideas on where to place them. FairStrides and Darth Parametric for all the scripting help and suggestions. DESCRIPTION This is the first entry in a new modding series I have been working on. Its objective is to gradually replace the Kotor games' alien models, which have particularly poorly aged. To this end, Master Vandar is the first alien to receive a high quality makeover. This mod replaces Master Vandar's 3D model with a new custom one, completely built from scratch using modern 3D asset creation techniques. As he appears as a hologram in the late game, his hologram model has been adapted as well, though with some constraints. Check out this thread if you'd like to know more about the development process and to get updates on the next entries of the High Quality Aliens modding series. COMPATIBILITY Since this is a replacer mod, it simply won't be compatible with any other mod that alters Master Vandar's appearance. @DarthParametric's Hologram mod and K1CP should be compatible. Just ensure to install my mod AFTER having installed K1CP or DP's mod first. KNOW ISSUES Due to technical constraints, some unavoidable and unpleasant artifacts will show up during the cutscenes using Vandar's hologram model. INSTALLATION To install, download hqa_vandar.zip and extract its contents somewhere convenient on your computer. Navigate to the extracted "HQA Vandar" folder and execute the TSLPatcher.exe. Let it do its magic but give it a hand if it can't find its way into your KOTOR game folder by its own. CREDITS bead-v: KOTORMAX and MDLEdit stoffe & Fair Strides: TSLPatcher seedhartha: KotorBlender PERMISSIONS Anyone is allowed to re-use the assets of this mod, including those contained in the modder's resources archive (see the final section below), in any way or form they would like for their own modding objectives. I only ask to be properly credited for the assets used. However, I explicitly forbid anyone to directly re-upload this mod or any of its contents to any other site than Deadlystream. SPECIAL THANKS to @Marius Fettfor their nerves of steel while helping me resolve seemingly never-ending technical issues with the hologram model. @DarthParametric for pinging me on Discord and thus kickstarting the Vandar project. MODDERS RESOURCES ARCHIVE IMPORTANT: Disregard this section if you're not interested in re-using my files to create your own mods. I'm uploading a separate ZIP file containing modding resources and grant anyone permission to use them in any way they would like. They include the weighted .ascii file to be imported in your preferred 3D software using KOTORMAX or KotorBlender, as well as the baked mesh maps that I used to create the model's texture. Do not hesitate to DM me on Deadlystream or on Discord should you need help using those files or if I omitted to include something that could be useful. -

Summary This mod adjusts the way the player acquires Jedi robes during their training on Dantooine. There are two parts, which can be installed individually or together: Apprentice Robes: The player will be equipped with Apprentice Robes as soon as they begin their training (in the montage). The Apprentice Robes look like brown Jedi Robes, but have the stats of Basic Clothing, so this is merely an aesthetic change. These robes have no prerequisites and can be worn by all humanoids in the party, regardless of Jedi class. Early Jedi Robes: Master Zhar will reward the player with Jedi Robes once they have chosen their Jedi class and constructed their lightsaber (i.e. as soon as they have the prerequisite to equip robes). Originally, he only granted them after all the trials were completed. The early access will allow you to wear robes in combat during the final trial. Installation Run Robe_Adjustment_K1.exe. Select which version to install. a) Apprentice Robes b) Early Jedi Robes c) Both a) and b). Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). Uninstallation Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility This mod overrides the scripts k_pdan_jedi17, k_pdan_zhar03, and k_pdan_zhar06. It may not be compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi training portion of the game. HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic v1.0 - 20190909 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for player characters (PCs). All 30 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 5 light-dark variants, for a total of 150 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 256x the resolution of the 64x64 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used A couple face textures had the eye in the wrong place and had to be fixed I reduced the number of background gradients to a set of 4 standards. The originals are all over the place in terms of the gradients and I didn't have time to replicate every one. An effort was made to match each individual set of portraits to its appropriate set of background gradients. While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers. See the included images in preview/ for an idea of how the portraits look. INSTALL / UNINSTALL To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. Feel free to edit and reuse the textures. No need to contact me for any permissions (for distributing or editing these files). Worked on animation Sith Holocron. The resolution of the texture is 8192x2048. I tried to draw each element of the texture in accordance with the original.
