[K1] SWTOR Female Trooper - PC Replacement Soundset
AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 JAN 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]
Description:
By request, now your (female) character in KotOR1 can sound like the female Trooper from SWTOR. How can you resist having the voice of Bastila Shan, Satele Shan, and the only Commander Shepard worth talking about voicing your character? male sound sets.
Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios. You'll have to let me know in the review section below. (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.) Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if you wish to put them in your review.
This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me.
Installation:
-----------------
You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow.
1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them. (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!) Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.
2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.
Note: If you're using the mod on Steam this quote may prove helpful.
“I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through Steam and reinstalling the mod though!”
So . . . uh . . keep that in mind.
Uninstall:
--------------
Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested and approved by me in writing before your use.

Description:
By request, now your (male) character in KotOR1 can sound like the male Jedi Consular from SWTOR. OK, actually no one requested this one but it was the first SWTOR class I used and I haven’t put up many male sound sets.

[K1] SWTOR Vette - PC Replacement Soundset
AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 JAN 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]
Description:
Now your (female) character in KotOR1 can sound like the character “Vette” from SWTOR.
Vette is the first companion you acquire as the Sith Warrior in SWTOR. If the character sounds just like Mission from KotOR and acts like her too, that might be because they’re voiced by the same voice actress! This fact enabled me to use lines from both KotOR and SWTOR. Seeing that someone has been ruthlessly insisting on multiple hues of Twi’leks recently, I figured I’d head that request off before it came up.
Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios. You'll have to let me know in the review section below. (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.) Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if you wish to put them in your review.

fix [K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix
By ebmar
[K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix
This mod will fix the inconsistency with one of the Sith Student/Tamlen dialogue which describe Tariga as a female/she while in fact [by appearance and gender-check] Tariga is a male/he. In dialogue with Tamlen he will describe Tariga as a "he" now. In addition to that, this mod will also change Tamlen's display name to his specific [formerly Sith Student].
Don't worry about the voice-overs inconsistency; this mod takes care of that. It will now heard as "he" instead of "she", in addition to the aforementioned text fix.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With v1.0.0 release I aim to have the mod its standalone LIP, to perfectly incorporate the lip-sync. The current version fits very well with the vanilla LIP in use - though started from the change which is "he" section, there's a fraction of milliseconds differences between the lip and the VO.
There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.
Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!
Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
This will adds new entries to your game's dialog.tlk - where they stored strings of dialogues for the game. If you didn't wish the mod to do so you may want to cancel the installation This only been tested with the English version of the game; it is full working and leave no unwanted bugs whatsoever, so be advised then Uninstallation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe], and choose Uninstall option. Also, by keeping the installlog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where
Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything that is on the surface by now, though it won't be compatible with mods that share the same scope with it. For assurance of this mod to work, just install this mod much later after every mods has, or try to avoid mods that force-overrides shared content with this mod
For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Sith Academy [korr_m35aa] module
The mod was play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them
Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. And be kindly; give credits to where it's due. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to credit BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant work here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

[K1] Taris Sith Base Dialogue Enhancement
By CarboCation
One of my favorite features of Kotor is the fact that the game allows a variety of responses from the PC. This mechanic allows us the players to create the PCs personality from the many different dialogue options that Bioware has provided for us.
Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of conversations in the game, many of the side conversations are rather limited in options. This forced me to make up the PC's dialogue in my head and then select the most similar available dialogue.
This mod makes adjustments and additions to some of the dialogue in the Sith base on Taris. I've given the PC more dialogue options, and moved around some of the NPC responses to more appropriate parts in the overall dialogue.
I also feel that it is important to mention that none of the basic speaking NPC's scripts have changed, but they have been moved around. This is to prevent unvoiced lines from appearing in any of the dialogue.

fix [K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix
By ebmar
[K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix
Lights are always nice in a dark places. Though it'd be nicer to know where it came from...
What Happened?
Inside the Temple Main Floor, there are rooms with source of lights that comes from nowhere. I was terrified... thought at first they're missing the GIT reference for the placeables, appears they're not, as they're not placeables. With second thought, perhaps they're missing their render flag? Again, no lamp meshes with the room model as pointed by DarthParametric. Apparently, they are missing their lamps which caused by missing references for the objects. In essence, the lamp is not part of the room model nor a placeable, instead a reference model called by the room's.
What Does This Mod Do?
This mod adds the missing reference for the lamps to four of the rooms inside the Temple Main Floor module. Optionally, it can also readjust the facing point of two Rune Covered Pillars inside one of the room, which I think could improve the aesthetics and immersion that's missing from the original setup.
Here's a before-and-after screenshots of what this mod mainly does -
And the optional that readjust the pillars' facing point -
What Can You Do?
There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod.
What You Should Do?
For best experience with the game itself, I suggest you to have KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed.
Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!
Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!
Uninstallation: remove these files from the Override folder -
m44aa_04a.mdl m44aa_04a.mdx m44aa_05a.mdl m44aa_05a.mdx m44aa_15a.mdl m44aa_15a.mdx m44aa_17a.mdl m44aa_17a.mdx Compatibility: will not be compatible with mods that edits and/or replace the relevant models, also mods that possibly changes the module layouts/LYT
The mod can be installed anytime - anywhere as the game's progress, and will have direct effect instantly
It is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version
Redistribution: you can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites, just don't claim it as your own. Though I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. Be advised then, most likely I will not provide ones if I don't know where it re-hosted.
If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. Inside this mod are resources which can be repurposed for your likings in one condition; please include the unmodified-original sources along with the release of the project. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included.
Said and done, give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them this enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.

mods [K1] Three-tiered Dark Jedi Robe
By ebmar
This mod "restores" three-tier appearances of Dark Jedi robe as seen on their icons.
# Background #
We do notice that there are 3 different icons of Dark Jedi robes which came along with each of their own tier. But when we equipped the DJKnight or DJMaster robe, their appearance pointed to that only robe which is the basic DJ robe. This mod tried to "restores" the robes which was shown with the icons.
# About this Mod #
Inside this mod are some replacements for Dark Jedi robes both for the male and female version:
Vanilla Dark Jedi robe with additional specularity [g_a_jedirobe02] / PMBI02 - PFBI02 Blue Dark Jedi robe replacement [g_a_jedirobe05] / PMBI11 - PFBI11 Dark Jedi Knight robe [g_a_kghtrobe02] / PMBI12 - PFBI12 Blue Dark Jedi Knight robe replacement [g_a_kghtrobe05] / PMBI13 - PFBI13 Dark Jedi Master robe [g_a_mstrrobe02] / PMBI14 - PFBI14 Blue Dark Jedi Master replacement [g_a_mstrrobe05] / PMBI15 - PFBI15 All the robe icons necessary Vanilla models to have them textures working properly An Extras: Vanilla texture with enhanced specularity Darth Revan's robe / PMBJ01 - N_DarthRevan01 Uninstall option
# Final Remarks #
I am using Darth Tomer's "Dark Robe" as the base layer for the 11 and 13 variant, and also SpaceAlex's "Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PMBI05 and PFBI05" as the base layer to work on to for the 14 and 15 variant. Credits to them both as the respective owners of the amazing textures to work on to.
Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod.
Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!
Installation: I suggest you to manually removes PMBI02 TGA/TPC, PFBI02 TGA/DDS, and ia_jedirobe_002 TGA/DDS from the 'Override' folder; if there's any. If you were running a clean install playthrough or without any texture replacement mods, you could just run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe].
Uninstallation: Run the 'Uninstall' option from the installation directory.
Compatibility: Will not compatible with mods that replaces or changing the 'Texture Variation' inside of these UTIs:
g_a_jedirobe02 g_a_jedirobe05 g_a_kghtrobe02 g_a_kghtrobe05 g_a_mstrrobe02 g_a_mstrrobe05 Also not compatible with mods that replaces the model of the Jedi robes [pfbil, pfbim, pfbis, pmbil, pmbim, pmbis - MDL/MDX], for example; Marius Fett's "Male Jedi Robe Replacement".
If you want this mod to be working, install it after the said mod has or after any potentially conflicted mods.
Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the kind intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, make sure to give credits to Darth Tomer, SpaceAlex, BioWare & LucasArts, as inside this mod are their base assets. Nevertheless, credits to me is always a welcome, welcome.

9 Spoilers
-------------------
There are quite a few puzzles, riddles and secrets in the mod, many that made me even think that the mod was 'broken', well I have play tested the entire mod and after going through the messy process of decompiling certain scripts I found out that the mod does work properly.
To complete certain things you will have to concentrate considerably on what you have recently done or aquired. If you do get completely stuck consult this table below
-The door that does not open in Exar Kun's Tomb in the Chamber Of Spirits is actually a mirage, you can walk through it after you have aquired the crystal of darkness.
-The most tricky part of the mod is the door puzzle, it is completeable but quite tricky to get your head round, it took me about 30 mins to figure it out, so if you figure it out straight away then maybe I'm just stupid. But here is the combination if you get stuck:
Open door 5, then open door 3, kill the spirits, then go back and open door 4, then door 1 will be open.
These are the only tricky parts I can remember, if you find any more don't hesitate to ask in the project thread at Lucasforums.

[KotOR] Ajuur Medical Supplies Respawn
By Salk
This small modification was created as part of Snigaroo's Mod Build request at Deadlystream. It simply refill the First Aid container in the duelling room on Taris Cantina with a new medikit (unless one such is already available) after winning one of the duels. Enjoy!

[KotOR] Bastila must hide!
By Salk
This is the second (and likely last) entry from me as part of the Snigaroo mod build request found here.
We wanted to offer an alternative to the existing „Operation Kill Bastila Remade” by Hunters Run. The main difference being that this version doesn't allow for any combat sequence, but rather focus exclusively on the importance for Bastila to be disguised when walking on Upper Taris. While an ideal execution proves to be beyond what I could be capable to achieve, I believe this modification (and indeed the original one) adds a much needed layer of realism and common sense by closing a rather glaring plot hole. Unfortunately, this isn't completely drawbacks-free. For one thing, the possibility of disguise will be limited to Taris when it may be reasonable to think it should not have such limitation. From version 1.5, there is no longer any kind of additional party selection restriction forced onto the player. The one restriction in version 1.4 remedied an original plot hole, though, so I recommend installing „Party at Davik's” alongside this modification. Enjoy!

[KotOR] Dialogue Fixes
By Salk
In an attempt to salvage some material from the now defunct SW:KotOR Upgrade project, I have decided to share this modification with the community.
This file is meant to replace the original dialog.tlk that comes with the original game. It is meant to be used exclusively with the English version of the game.
It is technically compatible with every other modification that alter this same file by patching it, provided this is installed first.
Two versions are offered: one that includes only corrections and a revised one that includes most of the changes found in the PC Response Moderation modification by Kainzorus Prime.
Enjoy!

[KotOR] Pazaak Fixes&Tweaks
By Salk
In an attempt to salvage some material from the now defunct SW:KotOR Upgrade project, I have decided to share this modification with the community.
The basic idea is to allow players that dislike profoundly to reload upon losing Pazaak matches to have a better chance at winning.
In KotOR, the player is unfairly forced to start each round of Pazaak, favoring considerably the AI. While I could not remedy this injustice, I could work around it by redesigning the three Pazaak decks that the AI uses against the player to counterbalance the odds.
Winning is still hard and mostly a luck-based matter. It is made actually more difficult because most opponents now do require the player to win more than they have (as opposed to the original fixed amount of times) in order to unlock the dialogue about running out of funds. And when they do wage their cards but end up winning, they would play for credits again. Thus the need of nerfing considerably the value of the AI's cards.
In the process, a number of bugs have been corrected and improvements to the dialogues have been made.
More can be read in the included Read Me file.
Enjoy!

[KotOR] Swoop Bike Upgrades
By Salk
This modification comes from a (very reasonable) request made by Snigaroo, lamenting the fact that in the original game it's not possible to improve the performance of the game's swoop bike despite evidence that upgrades should be available. I introduced two of them and made them available in two different stores. They can be purchased to help those who struggle to make good times on Tatooine's and Manaan's race circuits. They don't come cheap, but they are certainly a great asset for any aspiring swoop racing champion.

11 PC Species Soundsets
By redrob41
This mod will allow you to play using an alien speech soundset. It will complete all missing entries in each of the included ssf files (so that all NPCs will also have full soundsets), and add a few new ones.
11 included soundsets are: Aqualish (Walrusman), Duros, Gamorrean, Nikto, Rakata, Rodian, Selkath, Trandoshan, Twi'lek Male & Female, & Frogling (Vandar and/or Yoda).
To play as a Wookiee, use Zaalbar's soundset (since it is already complete).
In order to hear the sounds in-game, you will need to use the Kotor Savegame Editor by tk102. KSE is available at http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php
Once you've opened the Editor (see screenshot jpg):
1 - click on the savegame file that you want to edit
2 - highlight the Soundset line
3 - select the new soundset that you want to use
4 - click the Change soundset button. The Soundset line (2) will update.
5 - click the Commit Changes button. This will save all changes that you have made.
It's usually best to do this with a new game (as soon as possible), but you can edit saved games at any time. If you restore a previous save, the changes will not be present.

4 PC Species Soundsets (Booster Pack)
By redrob41
This mod will allow you to play using an alien speech soundset, thus making your character speak alien languages during simple tasks (like unlocking doors & items, or when entering stealth mode etc). It will complete all missing entries in each of the included ssf files (so that all NPCs will also have full soundsets), and add a few new ones.
4 included soundsets are: Bith (can also be used for Ithorians), Hutt, Jawa, & Tusken (Sand Person).
This is an add-on to my earlier soundset mod (which included 11 alien soundsets). To play as a Wookiee, use Zaalbar's soundset (since it is already complete).
in order to hear the sounds in-game, you will need to use the Kotor Savegame Editor by tk102. KSE is available at http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php

Just finished the game for the first time with this mod, and... wow. This is... so much better than the vanilla/TSLRCM ending, holy crap. It patches so many of the holes (well, kinda, I mean there's an attempt to explain T3 and the Hawk surviving the fall into the chasm), the choice of whether to destroy Malachor V being present regardless of the 'side' you end up on is cool, and I liked the extra dialogue with T3 and Brianna in the hold, as well as seeing everybody (well, again, mostly) alive and well in the Hawk to confirm that your efforts saving them weren't in vain. And then, of course, moving Atton's send-off dialogue to the cockpit (where he always is), and having it be the last thing before the credits roll was great. Like, idk, I could so clearly imagine my Exile rolling her eyes and plopping down into the co-pilot's seat.
Phenomenal work! I wasn't sure how well it was going to integrate, but it would feel very hollow to play the ending again without this mod, which puts it up there with TSLRCM for me.
