  1. TSL MP3 Player

    Description
This mod is based on a K1 mod released by HouseOfAmon in about 2006, and now largely forgotten.
It allows you to play your own music in-game, through a device called <FullName>'s Music Player,
(where FullName is your character's name). Activating this device allows you to play one of 25 tracks of your own,
or to return to playing the game's default music. It will do this via a dialogue menu.
I've made a couple of improvements over the original:
    1) This mod allows you to use 25 tracks, instead of 20;
    2) This mod allows you to reset to the game's default music whenever you want,
using the 'Play local radio' option (n.b.: 'Known Bugs', below).
You can cheat the item into the game using the code 'giveitem di_mp3' without the quotation marks,
or you can make it at the workbench.
    Installation
Installation of this mod comes in two parts.
    1) Use the TSLPatcher .exe included to install the base mod
(i.e., double click 'Install TSL MP3 Player', then click 'install mod', etc.)
    2) Adding your tracks to the game:
    i. Select up to 25 tracks that you have on your computer.
These *must* be in MP3 format.
ii. Copy the tracks to a new folder.
iii. Rename these copies Track1.mp3, Track2.mp3 ... etc., up to Track25.mp3
iv. Copy the renamed files to your StreamMusic folder inside the base game folder.
    Uninstallation
    1. Delete the new tracks you added to your StreamMusic folder.
    2. Delete the following files from your Override folder:
    di_mp3.ncs
    di_mp3.uti
    di_mp3p.dlg
    di_mp3p_1.ncs
    di_mp3p_2.ncs
    di_mp3p_3.ncs
    di_mp3p_4.ncs
    di_mp3p_5.ncs
    di_mp3p_6.ncs
    di_mp3p_7.ncs
    di_mp3p_8.ncs
    di_mp3p_9.ncs
    di_mp3p_10.ncs
    di_mp3p_11.ncs
    di_mp3p_12.ncs
    di_mp3p_13.ncs
    di_mp3p_14.ncs
    di_mp3p_15.ncs
    di_mp3p_16.ncs
    di_mp3p_17.ncs
    di_mp3p_18.ncs
    di_mp3p_19.ncs
    di_mp3p_20.ncs
    di_mp3p_21.ncs
    di_mp3p_22.ncs
    di_mp3p_23.ncs
    di_mp3p_24.ncs
    di_mp3p_25.ncs
    di_mp3r.ncs
    3. If TSLPatcher created a backup folder during install in the same folder as the tslpatchdata folder,
you can copy the following files backed up there, and use them to overwrite the copies in the Override folder:
    ambientmusic.2da
    globalcat.2da
    spells.2da
However, it is advised that you do NOT do this unless absolutely necessary,
as these files are used in a lot of other mods.
    Known Bugs
Pressing the 'Play local radio' button may cause the game to play the default area battle music when you're not in combat.
It should return to the normal mode area music once this finishes playing, though.

  2. JC's Crystal Attunement for K2

    Summary
This mod is focused on the so-called Quest Crystal, a powerful lightsaber crystal only the player character can utilize. There are three parts to this mod, which may be installed together or individually:
    Class-Based Properties
The Quest Crystal in the original game has differing properties depending on your character's level and alignment only. This option gives the Quest Crystal differing properties based on your character's class in addition to their level and alignment. Each combination of class and alignment has access to a unique set of item properties. Workbench Attunement
In the original game, only Kreia is able to attune your Quest Crystal to keep it up to date with your character's stats. This option allows you to attune the crystal yourself when Kreia is not available as a party member. This option also removes the "[Learn about using the workbench.]" dialogue from any workbenches you can access after the game's prologue. Bug Fixes
In the original game, you are not always given a Quest Crystal that properly reflects your player character. This mod includes bug fixes to correct that problem. While all of the installation options include these bug fixes, they can also be installed alone without the rest of the mod. Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Install.exe. Select which option you want to install:
    a) Class-Based Properties + Workbench Attunement
    b) Class-Based Properties
    c) Workbench Attunement
    d) Bug Fixes Only Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR2). This Workbench Attunement part of this mod only supports the English language version of the game at this time.
    Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Credits

  3. AxC's Kreia's Canonical Lightsaber

Although it’s not possible in the unmodded game, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that Kreia wielded a double-bladed lightsaber during her travels with the Exile, and the Star Wars Miniatures model of Kreia also depicts her using one. From the moment I learned this, it felt odd that the game didn’t reflect it. It’s just one of many canonical elements that remain out of reach in the base game. So, I decided to create this mod to bring Kreia’s canonical weapon to The Sith Lords.

Kreia will receive her double-bladed lightsaber aboard the Harbinger during her confrontation with Darth Sion. This weapon comes with improved stats but cannot be upgraded, and it can be used by Kreia even after the loss of her hand.

However, if you're already past Peragus (specifically, the point of no return when you board the Ebon Hawk), you can still add the lightsabers using cheats:

w_kreia_dblsbr: Kreia's canonical green double-bladed lightsaber, usable only by her.
w_traya_dblsbr: A red-crystalled version of the lightsaber, typically unobtainable, but usable by anyone.

Fullscreen replacement loading screens for TSL.
    All loading screens are included.

    How these were created:
    - Captured in-game screenshots with a low FOV
    - Reshade effects were used for sudo-raytraced lighting and color correction
    - Used GIMP to apply smoothing and anti aliasing
    - Applied and blended 3 different "paint" filters, in GIMP
    - added dark gradient at bottom of screen to make text more readable

  6. Kill The Ithorian

    1. Description

This is an updated version of the Kill the Ithorian Mod. Posted with Doctor's permission.

On Telos, there is a caged Ithorian in the Exchange office, mistreated and unfed. Originally, after dealing with the local crimeboss, you could free the prisoner, or leave him in the cage. This had no impact on anything, such as your Light/Dark alignment, and there was no XP reward.

This mod gives you an Experience + Lightside Points reward if you free him.

Moreover, it offers an option to overload the cage and kill the flatworm, for Experience + Darkside Points.

Version 1.1 is essentially the same, but with bugs fixed:
    - the infinite rewards exploit
    - the computer skill check not working.

    2. Installation

To install: copy the two files into your game's Override folder: Deadly_Cage.ncs, term_slusk.dlg.

To uninstall: delete these files from the Override folder.

This mod works fine with TSLRCM 1.7.

    3. Compatibility.

Works with TSLRCM, but it does overwrite term_slusk.dlg. This causes no problems.

    Version 1.1: Markus Ramikin

    5. Disclaimers

The usual stuff applies. The mod is provided as-is; by installing it, you accept all liability for any game instability or damage caused.

Distribute freely, as long as you give due credit.

  7. Modified Influence System

====Modified Influence System by Hassat Hunter====

This modification will change the influence system to work as was once intended by Obsidian, and TSLRP was to use it in their mod.
These files are extracted from 302NAR's files, and unmodified from there. Placing them in override should apply said effect globally.
Instead of 8 for all encounters, the second number will decide wheter they are "small" (2), "regular" (6) or "high" (12). Some also have no apllied number. They should default to regular, but it's not tested wheter that really works.
The concept was DROPPED, and the game is not balanced for this change. It may become impossible to Jedify certain members with this mod installed.
As such, it's pretty much intended for the people who are just interested in the workings of this influence system, or how it might have been if TSLRP ever saw the light...

    ==Install Instructions==
    * Drop the files from "Override" in the override folder.
Simply remove them to return to the existing system anytime (but when in 305NAR obviously).

    ==Uninstall==
    * Remove the following 2 files (a_influence_inc.ncs and a_influence_dec.ncs) from your override folder.

  8. Create all Mira's Rockets

    ====Create all Mira's Rockets v1.1 by Hassat Hunter====

This modification will modify the workbench to allow all of Mira's rockets to be creatable.
In the original TSL only 5 could be created, and dropped by the random loot system. While type 7 and 9 did appear in fixed drops on Nar Shaddaa, once you used them there was no replenishing them at all.
TSLRCM 1.8 will fix the rockets in the random loot system, but this small mod is to add them to the workbench.
Since the values aren't found anywhere I basically just made them up, not so much restoration. Hence this seperate mod that most likely will not be included in 1.8.
In order to compensate for the additional rockets each rocket doesn't take +5 repair skill like in vanilla, but +3 repair skill, for 33 total for the final 11th.
This mod is incompatible with other mods that modify what the workbench creates. Those who merely modify it's dialogue are compatible!

    ==(Un)Install Instructions==
    * Drop "itemcreatemira.2da" in the override folder. If it already exists, cancel, you have a conflicting mod!
Simply remove it to return to the existing system anytime.

    ==Version History==
1.1 Fixes issue with Bonded Plates Mark IV as noticed by TTlan on the forums.

  10. Darksword

This adds a new weapon, called a darksword, to the game. It is slightly less powerful
than a lightsaber (base damage 2-14 [2d7], +1-4 electrical damage), and is what was used
before the lightsaber was invented, particularly by the Sith. You will find the weapon
(if you look hard enough) on the Harbinger. I’m not going to say where, so if you want it,
be sure to check all over and not miss any compartments if possible.

The mod is inspired by ChAiNz.2da’s Darksword mod for KotOR II, which he released back in 2005.
While it’s a cool mod, I was never satisfied with the way the electrified blade looked in that
mod, so I made this mod to rectify that.

  14. Cloaked Journeyman Robes

    DESCRIPTION
Who said only Sith lords get to wear capes?
In addition to my recent Jedi Journeyman Robes mod, I'm releasing an additional version that includes a cloak. It is fully animated as it relies on Hunter Run's brilliant flowing cape animations for Revan's armor. The cloak only comes for the male model of the robes and I have no intention of working on a female version for the time being.

You'll find two downloadable files: a standalone and an upgrade version.

The first contains the new model with the cloak and all other necessary files.

The upgrade version only contains the new model and textures and is destined to replace the files from my other mod. Only download this if you have my other mod already installed and wish to use this model for the male version.

The robes come in two main variations:
    1.    Jedi Journeyman Tunic
    2.    Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic
You'll notice that the skinning on this model (a.k.a. how the model "reacts" to the various animations) isn't perfect. This is due to the fact that the Revan armor model has a cape that is much narrower than this one. I have, however, tried to make it look as good as possible. Certain animations, such as the running one as you can see above, still have some clipping going on mostly around the shoulders. Sadly this is the best I could do, but I hope you'll enjoy the final result nevertheless.

    HOW TO FIND
The first varation (Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Dendis Dobo, the honest one of the twin Duros merchants on Telos. The item is added via a script when you ask him to see his wares.
The second variation (Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Daraala, at the scavenger camp on Dantooine. IMPORTANT: The items are added via a script which only fires up the second time you talk to her.

    COMPATIBILITY
This mod is compatible with (and was only tested using) TSLRCM which I heavily recommend if you still haven't installed it.
This mod will be incompatible with any mod that alters the PMBJ and PFBJ models, as well the .DLG files of the conversations with Dendis Dobo (dendis.dlg) and (daraala.dlg)

    IMPORTANT: APPEARANCE.2DA
This TSLPatcher will modify your appearance.2da to edit the Model J and Tex J columns to solve inconsistensies regarding the textures assignements for the PFBJ and PMBJ models.

    INSTALLATION
First, you have to download Hunter Run's Flowing Cape mod over here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/216-revans-flowing-robe-tsl/
Extract both N_DarthRevan.mdl and N_DarthRevan.mdx and copy them in your Override Folder.
If you have already installed my other Luke ROTJ Robes mod, only download the upgrade version of this mod. If not, download and proceed to install the standalone version.

For the standalone version, extract the contents of the "Cloaked Journeyman Robes Standalone.rar" archive somewhere on your computer and execute the TSLPatcher.exe file. Le it do its magic, just give it a hand if it can't find its way into your TSL folder by its own.
To uninstall, delete all the files that are included in the "tslpatchdata" folder from your Override folder (excepted for changes.ini and info.rtf which you won't find in your Overide folder).
For the upgrade version, simply extract the contents of the "Cloaked Tunic Mod Replacer.rar" into your Override folder and click yes when prompted about replacing the files.
IMPORTANT: Wearing this robes while training Bao-Dur will crash your game or cause your character to turn invisible. Please download the "BaoFix.rar" file as well and drop its contents into your override folder to fix this issue.
    CREDITS
All credits for the original model and textures go to DT85 and Toshi who created it for Jedi Academy.
All credits for the Master Jedi texture variant go to Circa from JKHub

  17. K2 Improved Gameplay

    About This File
Knights Of The Old Republic II: [THE SITH LORDS]
    ================================================
    Author: MetaBee
Name: K2 Improved Gameplay Mod v2.5

    Description:
This mod aims to improve the game play, as well as to fix incorrect parameters within certain 2da file rows. For example, the saving throws of all the
Prestige Classes are actually incorrect, or either unfinished. This mod will fix that. It also aims to balance out combat, influence - skills ect.
This mod makes it possible, to now reach higher LvL's in the game before you finish. Its possible to reach LvL 40 now, and maybe 50,"
Provided one does all bonus quests as well as take all advantages off XP opportunities. In the OG game, even if you do so, you will only make it to 30 -32 "Without Exploiting".
Bearing in mind i'm including TSLRCM.
How does this work ? Simple, you will accumulate more XP from killing hostiles, as well as require less XP to Lvl up. The balance to this, is that your enemies will now be stronger, have more HP, and will be overall better to combat with.
Note: Lvl's will appear to be fast, especially in the beginning - however a grand total of 880 000 XP is Required to reach Lvl 50.
For more details, see ReadMeDetails.txt located in the mod.

  18. Master Class Robes

    ==========================================
KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 2 MODIFICATION
    ==========================================

    Ultimate Class Robes v3

    Author: DarthTyren

    E-Mail: darthtyren@gmail.com

    ----------

NOTE: If you already have a mod that overrides the game script a_pc_jedi.ncs (look in override folder), this mod will override it.

    Description:

When you talk with Kreia and pick your prestige class, upon exiting that conversation, a new robe dedicated to that class will be added to the inventory. That robe will boost stats that are important to that class.

    Installation:

    1) Unzip the compressed file you downloaded and run the MCR Installation TSLPatcher file located inside.
    2) Press the Install button and locate your TSL directory.

    Uninstallation:

The TSLPatcher creates backups of all your unmodified files. You can find it in the same folder as the Installer.

    1) Inside the backup folder, you should see a file named dialog.tlk. This goes in your root game directory (the same folder with swkotor2.exe). Cut and paste it there.
    2) I'm sending out a folder called Override Uninstall with all the files from this mod. Copy (don't cut) and paste them inside the Override folder in your game directory. Then delete them.

THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.

If you plan on using these items or textures in your own mods, I'd like a little notice and a place on your credits list. You don't need to wait on my permission, however.

  19. Alternate Revan Romances

This mod will allow you to set Revan's love interest(s) in the initial conversation with Atton, and all the dialogue in the game will reflect it. No longer will Carth automatically be a female Revan's love interest, nor will Bastila automatically be a male Revan's love interest.

Scripting and help given by forgetcanon on Deadly Stream.

Audio is now included in version 2.0.

This file was adapted based off the TSLRCM, and should not be used without it. It will also replace certain dialogue files in the Override.

  20. A Closer View

This is a simple mod which alters the distance and height of the camera in TSL by altering values inside camerastyle.2da to bring you closer to your character.

I created this mod because I always felt the camera was too far away from my own character and I couldn't see the facial expressions good enough. This mod helps to feel more immersed in the world as your character and less that you are controlling a little puppet far away. I realize this may not be for everybody so just try it and see if you like it.

Installation should be simple, just drag and drop into override folder.

  21. Realistic Visual Effects

    Original Review on Filefront:

As promised, the KotOR II version of Shem's Realistic Visual Effects mod is up! Because I'm lazy, I'll quote parts of the KotOR I review...

All those nasty visual effects are gone with this mod. There are too many to count, and you'll probably want to see for yourself anyway, but here are the basics:

As far as I can tell, this mod is identical to the KotOR I version, because in essence there weren't more annoying visuals in KotOR II, just more of the same. For those of you who are as annoyed by the special effects as I am, this mod is just for you! Also, it should come in handy for those fan film makers out there. Enjoy!

The mod does use the TSL Patcher, of course, since this is a major edit of the visualeffects.2da file. But you'll need WinRAR or 7Zip to extract the files in the first place.

NOTE: Please leave comments/feedback for the author, especially if you download and use this mod; usually it's the only reward modders receive for their efforts.

  22. Invisible Headgear

    Original Review on Filefront:

Masks are as much a part of Star Wars as Wookiees or the Sith. The only problem with those masks like I said in my review of Shem's KotOR I version of this mod is that they look a bit... silly. Very few masks have the certain something needed to make the wearer look cool.

Now if you're like me and of course my good friend Shem you think the same thing. So how do we get rid of the eyesores that give us enhanced feats, attributes, and skills without giving up the bonuses that come along with them? Well that is where Shem comes in. He has devised an ingenious way to get rid of them without giving up those certain bonuses. The solution is just to make them invisible.

By using the "Null" model in the game and renaming it to portray all of the default masks in the game he has successfully made them invisible. So no more of the "should I wear this mask or does it make my character look stupid" dilemma. You can just get an invisible mask on and wear it with pride.

So I really have to say awesome job Shem. Not only did you make all of those fashion statements you did it for both games! So really GOOD JOB. Now to all of you TSL freaks who have been itching to get your hands on this... Enjoy!

Also, sorry for the long delay everybody.

Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

  23. Kreia's Hood Down

    Original Review on Filefront:

Ah, Kreia. Wise teacher or corroded hag? Hate to love her or love to hate her, she is one of the most memorable parts of K2. And, as some of you have seen in the KOTOR2 Restoration project teaser, she is capable of removing her concealing hood and revealing herself.

Shem's mod allows Kreia to take off that hood when she speaks to Exile, allowing her face to be seen. This will benefit fan writers and artists greatly as we can now get a solid look at her face and hair from various angles. As you can see, Atton may have been right - she is still rather striking.

Once again, I do ask that you give feedback for this mod. It's the only payment a fan artist gets, and the more detailed it is, the better the mods we can make in the future.

  24. Prequel-style Robes

    Original Review on Filefront:

Fans of the prequels should be happy with this very large set of prequel-inspired robes - 28 in all. There are various color combinations to choose from, and Shem has also gone as far as to include customized robes for each trainable (or Jedi) member of your party. Even Bao-Dur has a special "Jedi robe" (armor that acts as a robe, since he can not wear them). The robes have modified stats and come in a pretty wide variety of colors, though the colors seem restricted to something a Jedi might actually consider wearing. Sorry, no Hawaiian robes!

Still asking yourself why you should download this mod? Each customized robe has some very good (but not unbalanced) stat bonuses and perks. They are-- Ha, you didn't think I was going to tell you, did you? Go play and find out for yourself! That's half the fun anyway .

Just as a note, this is mod is best played starting from a new game if you want the greatest effect as quickly as possible with as few complications as possible. This also contains a fix for older versions for a bug concerning Bao Dur's robe.

  25. Varsity/Venom Trandoshan PC Mod

It had come to my attention that this mod had disappeared from the annals of Kotorfiles/GameFront so per the request of one DarthCMoney, I have re uploaded this classic mod.

    Description:

-Darth Venom : Darth Venom's personally approved in-game likeness.
-Trandongo: A Star Wars rendition of the infamous "King Dodongo: Infernal Dinosaur" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
-Venom Redeemed: A variation of the Darth Venom skin. As you might have guessed, he's returned to the light, and now dons icy blue eyes.
-Cross Dragon: I had the Black Dragon from Chrono Cross in mind when making this skin... funny that the final product looked nothing like it. Oh well, the name's stuck, I can't think of a better one.

Note: These are SEPARATE character skins and as such do not boast any light-dark transitions. You are stuck with your chosen appearance regardless of alignment. So just remember that.

This mod is likely to cause game crashes at character creation.
Dealing with this issue is simple.
When you choose your Jedi class make sure you CANNOT already see a trandoshan exile as your chosen class. Return to the main menu and start over until a normal human PC is visible as your preferred class. Choose your class and then switch portraits until you find your chosen trandoshan. When you do this the portrait will be visible, but the PC will be a "Headless Horseman". Don't worry, when you start the game you will not be a headless human. Additionally, if you choose your portrait and decide to use the "back" button the game is likely to crash. Just start over. It's a small price to pay to be able to choose a non human PC. As of now, this is an issue that cannot be fixed, so just play along.

    PREFACE:

    Words of the Puppet:

Well, here we are the second time around with two more great skins for you to enjoy. There were numerous reasons for an update, the most important being of course that the original upload contained a bad TSLPatcher. A second cleaner upload was posted along with a Kotor 1 version, but it failed miserably. So here we are with an official update: It's clean and there are more skins.

I'm not sure if it's Kotor 1 compatible. It crashed and burned on the xbox version of k1 but maybe you'll have more luck with the PC.

Words of LordVenom: Can't confirm PC compatibility for K1. I do not own K1.

Anyway all I've got to say is I was making a lightside Venom coincidentally at the time I recieved a PM from ol'boy Puppet about wanting to do a Trando 2.O with new skins. Sounded like a good idea to me so here you have it.

[unless you are me you probably dont care about this]: The lightside appearance I've created for Venom is a hypothetical created for fun only. I've decided that Venom retains his Sith visage and title even after converting to the lightside (canon to my roleplay story).

    DESCRIPTION:

This mod now adds two Playable Trandoshans at the Character select screen. Unlike before, you are now forced to install all of them. If you've really got a problem with any of the skins and don't want to one of them, you'll have to delete them from the 2das yourself.

There are four skins in total.

-Darth Venom : Darth Venom's personally approved in-game likeness.

-Trandongo: A Star Wars rendition of the infamous "King Dodongo: Infernal Dinosaur" from the Legend of Zelda series.

-NEW! Venom Redeemed: A variation of the Darth Venom skin. As you might have guessed, he's returned to the light, and now dons icy blue eyes.

-NEW! Cross Dragon: I had the Black Dragon from Chrono Cross in mind when making this skin... funny that the final product looked nothing like it. Oh well, the name's stuck, I can't think of a better one.

    PERMISSIONS:

LordVenom- The Darth Venom skin is for personal use only. Normally I'd allow usage of my skins for any purpose as long as credit is given. However, Darth Venom the Trandoshan Sith Lord is my favorite creation, and I've become quite attached to him. I hope you all enjoy the skin, but I prefer that he not be reproduced or integrated into any project that I do not personally have a hand in creating.

The Puppet- You may use this mod as you see fit. Display it in screenshots, make it compatible with your mod. However, give credit where it's due, but DO NOT release it with any of your mods without my permission. Thanks.

    THANKS:
    tk102 for making the excel 2da add-in
    Fred Tetra's KotorTool
Obsidian for making a game to love and hate
All of you modders out there who I've consistently studied and slowly learned from.
