KOTOR 1 Community Patch
The K1 Community Patch (K1CP) is a compilation of previous bugfix mods and a multitude of new original fixes put together with the intention of resolving the many and various issues that KOTOR has. This includes some well-known game breaking bugs/softlocks, broken quests, inaccessible content, as well as lesser issues such as problems in conversations, visual inconsistencies, player annoyances, etc. The intention is for the changes to be as seamless as possible, fixing and improving things whilst still retaining the original developer intent.
A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and allowed them to be included in this patch! Unfortunately, the individual list of changes has grown far too long to be included in this post. However, you can view a detailed breakdown of each author's individual contributions in the included readme file and a summary of the changes the current version has made since the previous release in the changelog file.
List of Contributing Authors (alphabetical):
A Future Pilot blennus danil-ch darthbdaman DarthParametric Ebmar Frykas Gimmick5000 jc2 JCarter426 Kainzorus Prime Kexikus KOTOR 1 Restoration Team Leilukin Markus Ramikin N-DReW25 ndix UR R2-X2 Red Hessian Salk th3w1zard1 Thrak Farelle WildKarrde Installation:
Run INSTALL.exe and navigate to your K1 install folder. Generally speaking, this mod should be installed before anything else, except mods that do hard edits/overwrites of 2DA, TLK or MOD (module) files.
Warning: Never run the installer from inside the archive! Always extract the archive onto your hard drive first.
N.B.: With the advent of version 1.10.0, K1CP has migrated away from the use of TSLPatcher and switched to HoloPatcher. This allows for additional patching functionality and resolves some bugs encountered with TSLPatcher. HoloPatcher is also multi-platform. The bundled installer is the Windows version, but Mac and Linux users can download the appropriate installer for their system here.
It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. If you are using the Steam version of the game and have installed Steam in its default Program Files location, we advise creating a new Steam Library on a different drive and moving the game there via the game's Properties pop-up in Steam.
Translation:
The mod now has translations in French and Russian, available as separate patches. To use, first download the base K1CP v1.10.0 archive and extract it to your harddrive. Download your translation patch of choice and extract its contents into K1CP's tslpatchdata folder. Proceed to install the mod as normal.
Compatibility/Known Issues:
K1CP uses module injection in an attempt to remain as compatible as possible with other mods. This may result in issues with mods that simply put files in the Override folder. It is recommended that you consult the individual authors of any large scale mods, particularly those that edit DLGs and scripts, as to whether their work is compatible with K1CP. Some mods will likely require updates, some may need to be installed in a specific order, whilst others may be fundamentally incompatible.
K1CP currently only supports the English language version of the game, and makes a number of edits to the TLK file in English. If anyone is able to provide translations of these changes to other languages, please let us know.
The KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod is incompatible with K1CP, however there is ongoing work to re-create the K1R mod for K1CP: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2345-restored-content-for-k1cp-demo/
These are the currently known bugs/issues with KOTOR or the mod that the K1CP is looking to resolve:
https://github.com/KOTORCommunityPatches/K1_Community_Patch/issues
If you find any others, especially with changes/additions K1CP makes, please report them on the Github issue page or here on Deadly Stream so they can be addressed. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including a list of all the other mods you have installed, the order you installed them in, steps to reproduce the problem, along with screenshots and save files, if appropriate. You may also be directed to provide the install log file, a list of the contents of your Override folder, and specific MOD files from your modules folder.
Uninstallation:
Given the complexity of this mod, a clean install of KOTOR is the recommended approach for uninstalling K1CP. However, HoloPatcher does provide uninstall Shell (Bash) and PowerShell scripts which will work as long as K1CP was the most recent mod installed.
Permissions:
Due to this mod being a compilation from many different authors, please do not distribute/rehost it.

DATE RELEASED: May 31, 2016
KOTOR 1 RESTORATION FORUMS: http://deadlystream.com/forum/forum/31-kotor1-restoration-k1r/
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
» DESCRIPTION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WARNING: IN ALMOST ALL CASES, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO INSTALL THE K1R RESTORATION BEFORE ANY OTHER MODS!!! THE ONLY EXCEPTION SO FAR IS KAINZORUS PRIME'S NPC OVERHAUL...
The KotOR 1 Restoration Mod is an attempt to restore almost all the content that was cut from the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by BioWare Corp. Of course, these restorations will be within reason and things that were cut because they did not fit with the plot, and cannot be made to fit with the plot, will most definitley NOT be restored.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There weren't too many bugs in KotOR 1, thus there is such a short list.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
» INSTALLATION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An installation which involves the TSL Patcher has been made ready for your use and is the simplest and easiest way to carry out installation.
Alternatively, a secondary installer has been made for convenience. It will not patch the files like the TSL Patcher will, but it should be less of a headache for most users. HOWEVER, IT WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE ANY OTHER MODS!!!
Note: The K1R team is not responsible for any incompatibility issues that may arise from the use of this mod in conjunction with other mods. Also, in order to provide the best feedback for us we recommend that you play K1R with NO other mods installed.
Note 2: If using the TSL Patcher AND your game is in English, before installing, copy the dialog.tlk file bundled with this package into the KotOR directory. This will give you the grammar and typo fixes to the vanilla text.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
»»»» TSL PATCHER INSTALLATION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) Double click K1R_1.2_Installer.exe found in the main directory of the unpacked folder.
2) Click the button labeled Install Mod.
3) Click yes to the box that'll pop up... if you wish to proceed with installation.
4) Watch as all the little file names and progress reports scroll by and wait until the installer is complete.
» BUG REPORTING
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are 2 ways to report bugs:
1: Post your issues in the Bug Reporting Thread.
2: PM your issues to Fair Strides at Deadlystream.
TO REPORT THROUGH PM
1) Go to DeadlyStream (http://deadlystream.com/) and search for the user Fair Strides ( http://deadlystream.com/forum/user/9107-fair-strides/ )
2) Send a private message with as much detail as possible of what is occurring in your game. He will likely report back to you within a week.
TO REPORT THROUGH THE BUG THREAD:
1) Go to the Bug Thread ( http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4457-k1r-12-impressions-and-bug-reports-read-me-first/ )

K1 Pre-Release Pack
By N-DReW25
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Author: N-DReW25
1.0.0 Release Date: 20.06.2021
Installation:
Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.
WARNING: If you wish to use Gloveless Sith Officers and Albino Sith Officers at the same time, please install Gloveless Sith Officers FIRST and Albino Sith Officers SECOND!
Uninstallation:
Depends on what you've chosen to install.
Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite.
Description:
July 15 2003 was the day Kotor 1 was released for the first time on Xbox. If you've played Kotor on the Xbox or have played my Knights of the Old XBOX mod then you might be aware that the Xbox version and the PC version of these games are different, but what if I told you there was a 3rd version of Kotor which you might not have heard of before?
Between 2002 and early 2003, the original Kotor website published a series of images which ranged from concept art to promotional screenshots of the game during its Beta/Pre-Release stage of development.
Whilst these promotional screenshots might appear worse than the vanilla game (As these are pre-release/in-development screenshots), a few eagle eyed observers might notice some features in said screenshots which the vanilla game lacks.
What this mod will do is add these features into the vanilla PC game.
WARNING: Please be sure to consult the mod's screenshots before installing (Or ask the mod author in the comments), the installer for this mod is modular allowing you to install things at your leisure, however, some features might be perceived as lower quality than others so
it is recommended to be 100% sure of what you want to install before installing anything. None of the features should break your game, it's merely a matter of your own opinion on whether or not you like the aesthetic of a specific feature or not.
Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
Gloveless Jedi Robes do not receive the grey Dark Side transitions, meaning the player character will have a grey head with normal hands. The best way to fix this would be to use a mod which removes the Dark Side transitions.
Incompatibilities:
Would be incompatible with any mods which modifies Mission Vao's body/underwear/head texture and portraits, Trask Ulgo's unique head texture and portraits, Jedi Robe textures and models, Sith Officer body/head textures or models
Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
Thanks to:
Bioware: For such an amazing game
Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool
Stoffee: For TSLPatcher

Qel-Droma Hybrid Robes for JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robes
By N-DReW25
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Authors: N-DReW25, Effixan, Constantinople33 and ScrierOne
1.1.0 Release Date: 03.12.2025
Installation:
1) Install JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1 FIRST! (No exceptions!!!): https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1758-jcs-fashion-line-i-cloaked-hybrid-robes-for-k1/
2) Install Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin SECOND!: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2019-effixians-qel-droma-robes-reskin-for-jcs-cloaked-jedi-robes/
3) Select either "Constantinople33-Effix Version" or "ScierOne-Effix Version", you can only use ONE.
4) Open the "For Override" folder inside your chosen version and copy the files within to your swkotor Override folder and select the "Overwrite" option when it pops up.
Description:
March 11th 2021 saw the release of the Lore-Friendly Qel Droma Robes by Constantinople33 which was a 2K resolution reskin of the vanilla K1 Jedi Robe texture to make the Qel-Droma Robe item look more like the canonical Robe as worn by Qel-Droma in the Kotor Comics. I personally thought the skin looked AMAZING with its extensive detail, but at the time I used JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe mod so I took no heed to the mod as both mods were incompatible.
But upon looking into JC's Cloaked Hybrid Robe mod, I realized that it would be possible to "merge" Constantinople33's work with one of JC's Cloaked Jedi Robe skin to make a "Hybrid" robe. At first, I was intending to use
Salk's Qel-Droma Robe texture (which was uploaded by StellarExile) as the Cloaked texture of my Hybrid mod, but after my initial work on the Hybrid Robe the modder Effixan published his own take on a unique Qel-Droma Cloaked Robe.
From what I can tell, Salk had requested Effixan to professionally make his version of Qel-Droma's Cloaked Robe using Salk's work as an inspiration... as such, after getting permission from Constantinople33 and the fact Effixan stated in his readme that users can use his Qel-Droma Robe with credit, I have merged the Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robe with Effixan's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin mod.
On April 4th 2022, the modder ScrierOne would come along and release his own Qel-Droma robe mod called the Alternate Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes which was inspired by Constantinople33's original mod hence why it is called the ALTERNATIVE Lore-Friendly Qel Droma Robes. At the end of 2025 I decided to add a version of this mod that'll merge ScrierOne's Qel-Droma Robes with Effix's robes as an alternative to Constantinople33 version.
Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there any please report them on Deadlystream.com
Incompatibilities:
Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com
Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes can be freely used as JCarter426 released the source files for this mod as a Modder's Resource which is free for anyone to use.
Effixian's Qel-Droma Robes Reskin can be freely used as long as you credit Effix as per a post giving modder's a blank cheque on this condition.
Constantinople33's Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes is not free to use. ASK HIM for permission if you want to use his textures in your own mod.
ScrierOne's Alternate Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes can be freely used as long as you DO NOT post it on the Steam Workshop and/or sell it for money as per the permission tab on the mod's Nexus Page.
Thanks:
JCarter426: For making the original Cloaked Hybrid Robes, this mod couldn't have been done without you!
Effixan: For creating his own Qel-Droma Cloaked Robe texture which was used in this mod!
Salk: The one responsible for the design of Effix's Qel-Droma Cloaked Robes!
Constantinople33: For making the original Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes!
ScrierOne: For making the Alternative Lore-Friendly Qel-Droma Robes!
Bioware: For such an amazing game!
Obsidian Entertainment: For creating the Cloaked Robe model for Kotor II!
Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool!
And everyone who downloads the mod!

expansion Sleheyron- Story Mode
By SAO1138
Introducing: Sleheyron Story Mod.
A brand new planet expansion to add to your next KOTOR play-through: Sleheyron!
Built upon the Sleheyron demo mod by the legendary SithSpecter (with his permission), this new mod adds a huge new story that brings this lost-absent planet back to KOTOR.
This mod contains the following new content:
I was inspired by SithSpecter’s work, and I’m hoping in the future my mod will be compatible with his. It would be a worthy venture for me to undertake to make our Sleheyron stories co-exist. After all, I owe him a HUGE debt of thanks for permitting other modders to build off his Sleheyron demo!
This new mod is my first ever project, and I’m quite excited to share it with you. Sleheyron will feature:
1: A roughly 5 hours long story, voice-acted (no AI voices either).
2: A fully-voice acted new party member, complete with a post-Sleheyron story and romance (The new companion can even do the Leviathan rescue!).
3: 25 new modules of various shapes and sizes (including the four published by SithSpecter, which are amazing and I owe him a huge thanks!)
4: New weapons and armor.
5: Lots of connections to Tales of the Jedi, as I am a big fan of those comics.
The most recent, and presumably final, version of this mod that I have uploaded is called "Sleheyron+." This version of the mod comes with a few useful qualities: It uses Holopatcher for easy installation, it is compatible with other mods, and it has a few improved textures and voice acting.
If you are interested in using other mods, please follow these instructions:
1: If you are using the KOTOR 1 Community Patch, or the KOTOR 1 Restored Content Mod, or the KOTOR 1 Community Patch with Restored Content, download that mod FIRST BEFORE SLEHEYRON!
2: If you are going to try BOSSR (reminder: this has not yet been tested by me), download it AFTER Sleheyron.
The story for Sleheyron: Story Mode starts shortly after the player gets their main mission from the Jedi Council on Dantooine. There is a save file in this mod that will allow players to skip right to that moment with a pre-built character. Then you just need to fly to Sleheyron... But I also encourage players to make their own characters, too!
Sleheyron can be visited at any time between Dantooine and the Unknown World. I, of course, recommend going early to enjoy the new companion as long as you would like.
Some acknowledgements!
Modders:
Of all the people I need to thank, there are two above all others:
First and foremost, the absolute biggest thanks to SithSpecter: Not just for creating the Sleheyron Demo that this mod is built off of, but for granting permission to use that Demo. When the day comes your Sleheyron Restoration Mod is complete, I know that it will be the very best Sleheyron mod out there!
And right after SithSpecter is my good friend, The_Chaser_One. Chaser has been an extremely great friend (and a talented new KOTOR modder himself) and is responsible for making this mod compatible. He's talked through many ideas, he was the best beta tester anyone could ask for, and he really did work hard to make this project a better one to share with all of you. Thank you for your help, Chaser- really!
Thor110, for helping me out with the basics of module design, as well as introduced me to some cut modules to use.
DarthParametric, for teaching me to retexture NPCs as well as two "larger creature" mods that became resources for Sleheyron (is there a single KOTOR mod out there that he hasn't been credited on?).
SithHolocron, who early on helped teach me how to retexture modules.
ZobiZob, for amazing YouTube tutorials for how to use Holocron Toolset and solving my problem with playing movies.
GlaspyLawson, who learned modding at the same time as me, and shared his knowledge; and for contributing a side quest to Sleheyron!
JC for just answering so many of my questions through the entire modding process.
Really, the whole Mod Development KOTOR Discord Group! Thank you for either offering advice or tolerating my simplistic questions!
Testers:
Mikael, the absolute most enthusiastic alpha tester anyone could ask for.
StellarExile, who helped me out with learning how to use the patcher.
MistahJayGarrick for his high praise of the story content (and occasional blunt, but necessary, advice).
Tool Developers:
Cortisol and Th3W1zard1 designed and kept updated the incredible Holocron Toolset, that was instrumental in this mod's design. I owe them a massive thanks for their work, and the hours they spent helping me out with bug-fixing! And also Wizard for a pretty fun voice, too.
Voice cast:
LadyWarden, the talented actress that gave us the incredible voice of Vima; giving this long-standing fan-favorite character a perfectly excellent rendition (she was also an excellent audio assistant and helped design the load screens).
Mikael, for various voiceovers around Sleheyron that made the planet feel alive (including the dulcet tones of an exhausted Hutt).
C4 for the excellent performance as Commander Forcay, praised by a tester as "Sounds exactly like a NPC from KOTOR!"
PuckShadows for his Sith Lt. Savage.
Juice Phanta for a pitch-perfect protocol droid.
Black Rose for literally hundreds of Iridorian mercenary lines, giving me an impressively huge range of pitches to work with.
Schofield-HD for an officer of vice and virtue (and more roles to come in Sleheyron 1.1!)
Gwoopp and MerakiSky for two fun little roles in the Sleheyron cantina.
Companies:
Of course, BioWare and Lucasfilm, for making this game that we all enjoy so much.
NexusMods and Deadly Stream for being the places to discuss and host mods.
Discord for enabling communication that made this mod a collaborative effort.
Final Dedications:
My wife, who tolerated me spending nearly six months isolated to make this.
To a relative who isn't around anymore to enjoy Sleheyron. I think this mod would make you proud! (even if you did spoil this game for me)
My apologies if I missed anyone else; but I appreciate all of your hard work!
I hope you all enjoy Sleheyron: Story Mode!1,145 downloads

Carth Taris hideout dialog restoration
Carth Taris hideout dialog restoration
Hello there everyone !
After my first music overhaul mod, I decided I wanted to upload something you already have with K1R. However, as the latter is incompatible with many of the mods you may want to download (like me), but you still like Carth and you want him to take care of you (as well as feeling like an actual hero who wants to fight even badly injured), this is for you. It restores his lines post Endar Spire's escape when he got you to the abandoned apartment right after your vision and fixes some stuff in his dialog. What this mod does not do however, is make him talk to you from the window instead of directly in front of you. I saw someone asking for this but my modding skills are too low atm. It might come in an update though, so stay in touch and don't hesitate to tell me if you think this is a good idea.
WARNING : This is now included in the Restored content for K1CP mod by @N-DReW25 AND Sleheyron Story mode by @SAO1138. If you're planning to play with one or even both of them (which I genuinely recommend btw !), DO NOT install my mod or it will break your game. However, there are other (bigger and better) mods waiting for you in my profile, especially if you're a fan of Manaan and/or Korriban !
Installation :
- Unzip my folder, take the .dlg file and put it in your override folder.
- You’re ready to go, enjoy ! If you liked the mod, please consider putting a like, a 5 stars or even a simple review, it helps a lot even if it doesn't cost you much. So thank you in advance.
I hope this helps you enjoy Carth a bit more, because I discovered it when I played K1R at 3rd playthrough and I remember thinking I would've liked this for my first playthrough.
Uninstallation : Delete the file from your override folder.
Incompatibilities / issues : you think it's too small ? Don't worry, soon it will change this dialog even more... For actual issues, don't hesitate to report to me. I don't know of any. However, as this modifies only the Carth Taris hideout dialog file, it should be compatible with anything that doesn't change it too. It is compatible with K1CP, which you have to install before my mod for them to work together (it's obvious, this mod is very small and precise so it comes last while K1CP is almost a complete overhaul so it comes first). It won't be compatible with K1R (also obvious, since it is made for a non K1R build).
Big thanks to Cortisol for his amazing Holocron Toolset, which I used to modify the dialog file, and to the Deadlystream community, especially all the inspiring modders that keep the game alive, and obviously to the Kotor community in general (even more to those who will download the mod lol). Have a nice play, and may the Force be with you !

[K1] Mandalore the Unknown
By Raven-Fal
[K1] Mandalore the Unknown
Author: RavenFal
Release Date: 11/28/2025
"Yes, that's him. I toyed with calling him dar'Mand'alor, loosely translating Mandalore the Unknown." ―Abel G. Peña This mod changes the Mandalorian Captain found by the Temple on the Unknown World to be “Mandalore the Unknown”, the self-proclaimed Mandalore referenced several times in KOTOR by HK-47 and the Mandalorians on Kashyyyk, but never seen in-game. Per the campaign guide, Canderous defeated him between games and took his armor and helmet as a way to honor him, combining the helmet with Mandalore the Ultimate's mask (which is why Manalore's helmet in KOTOR 2 looks so different compared to the mask from the comics). This mod moves that confrontation earlier in the timeline, allowing players to experience Canderous acquiring his armor from KOTOR 2 and letting him (or anyone in your party who can equip heavy armor) to rock up to the Star Forge wearing one of the coolest armor sets from either game.
“Mandalore the Unknown” is wearing an upgradeable armor set with the appearance of Mandalore's Armor from KOTOR 2. Upon his defeat, he'll drop this armor instead of the “Mandalorian Assault Armor” the Mandalorian Captain drops in the base game. The appearance is set up as a disguise, and so it will work for both male and female characters. He also drops a datapad that explains why he was sending teams of Mandalorians to hunt in the Shadowlands, what he's doing on the Unknown World, and changes up events a little more to make to him the one who made the modifications to Mandalore's mask.
I have also included optional files to change Mandalore the Ultimate from SilverEdge9's Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge mod to also have the appearance of Mandalore from KOTOR 2. The mask looted from the “Non-Canon” chest remains unaltered and has its original appearance.

Lightsaber Hilt Variety - K1
By J
Covers regular, short and doubleblade lightsabers
Vanilla colors + JCs Extra Saber Colors
In the base game, every lightsaber you find has the same hilt model. My goal was to add some variability to the lightsaber hilts while also fitting within Kotor's engine limitations. Hilts are still tied to crystal color but should give the illusion that every saber hilt isn't exactly the same.
The Blade
I have rebuilt the original blade model, so that JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K1 is compatible (and recommended). The blades are now perfectly symmetrical after some UV editing. I also fixed a bug where some models didn't render all of the blade planes. A glowing light source has been added to each blade thanks to Crazy34's Light saber models.
The Hilt
I started with a base hilt design and then tweaked each one to have a slightly different shaped grip, emitter, and pummel. One hilt shouldn't stand out or overshadow the design of the others. Hopefully they feel like they belong. Hilts are completed for each crystal color.
I added a custom hilt for Malak as well.
Install Steps:
- JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K1 is recommended. The glowing light colors were made to match these.
- Extract and copy main mod files to override directory
- Alternative texture is also in the downloads, with less gold/bronze
- for the extra colors install JC's Extra Saber Colors first and then extra colors from this mod. Overwrite when asked.
To-do
- rework the texture, the lines render differently in K1 vs K2
Credits:
- Crazy34's Light saber models for the glowing light effect
- JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K1, amazing blade texture, I matched the glowing effect to work with these
- JC's Extra Saber Colors for K1, glow effect color matched to be compatible

Bastila Has TSL Battle Meditation
Gives Bastila a unique Force power based on the Battle Meditation power from TSL.
*NOTE: This mod will only work properly on saves from before Bastila has joined your party.*
DETAILS
This mod essentially ports the "Improved Battle Meditation" Force power from KOTOR II and gives it to Bastila as a starting power instead of Force Aura. Like in TSL, the power adds +2 to attack rolls, damage, and will saves for all party members and -2 for enemies within a 10m radius for 20 seconds at a cost of 35 FP. It also increases the party's vitality regeneration for the duration. The power is not selectable at level-up by the PC or party members and is only added as one of Bastila’s starting powers. The VFX and Force power icon are ported from TSL. This mod also makes it so the game uses the TSL VFX to represent Battle Meditation in cutscenes where it previously reused Force Shield VFX.
In KOTOR II, Improved Battle Meditation is a level 12 power while this mod gives it to Bastila at level 3, so it's possible there's an effect on balance in the early game. I don't think it's too OP of a power but let me know if you have feedback.
INSTALLATION
To install, run TSLPatcher.exe. This is required. Don't try to copy the files over manually. Unaltered copies of any modified files will be placed in the “backup” folder in the location of TSLPatcher.exe. Don’t worry if you get warnings during installation.
NOTE: If you install on a save from after Bastila has already joined your party, she won't have the power and won’t be able to select it on level-up. You can use save editor to give her the power.
UNINSTALLATION
To uninstall, remove spells.2da, visualeffects.2da, effecticon.2da, p_bastila.utc, fp_bmed.ncs, v_bmedit2_imp.mdl, v_bmedit2_imp.mdx, v_bmedit2r_imp.mdl , v_bmedit2r_imp.mdx, and ip_battlemed02.tga from the override folder. Replace unk_m44ac.mod and sta_m45ac.mod in the modules folder with the version in the backup folder. Replace dialog.tlk in the main game folder with the version in the backup folder. Then move any remaining files in the backup folder to override.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with most other mods. Install after K1CP. Potentially incompatible with mods that edit Bastila’s starting powers. Install this mod afterward to be safe.
This mod edits a handful of vanilla scripts (see inside tslpatchdata) and will conflict with other mods that do so, though I don’t know of any.

KotOR1 Random Panels
KotOR1 Random Panels
AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
ORIGINAL RELEASE: 15 NOV 2024
FIRST UPDATED RELEASE: 21 NOV 2024
SECOND UPDATED RELEASE: 01 JAN 2025
SECOND UPDATED RELEASE: 20 NOV 2025
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Description:
While recuperating after open heart surgery, I needed a small project to keep me occupied. Something relatively stress-free so I could go about the work without getting to frustrated.
I landed on redoing some of the panels for the various planets that *mostly* tend to look the same with minor difference in coloring. I settled on the panels included here.
There are separate downloads for each game but some of the textures appear in both as Obsidian did reuse some of the textures.
Installation:
Drop the TGA files and TXI files into your Override. My textures have been labeled with their names on the download page so if there's one that you don't particularly care for, don't drop that one into your Override folder.
If using another texture pack that includes identically named textures (whether they are TGA, TGA with TXI, or a TPC file), remove those from your Override before putting mine in.
Uninstallation:
Take the files you put in, out again.
Known Bugs:
None known at this time.

I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. Ever.
I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use.

Manaan Pazaak Tournament
Main idea
I’m pretty sure that if you’re in this modding community, you’ve at least once hesitated between the Community Patch for KOTOR 1 (K1CP) and the KOTOR Restoration mod (K1R). And I’m here to give you what you need. In fact, @N-DReW25 already made a restored content mod for K1CP (RC-K1CP). The fact is that it doesn’t restore everything K1R does, especially one of its biggest parts : the Pazaak Tournament on Manaan.
The mod I made will bring it back into your game, with some additions I took the time to add.
Please read at least the "optional" and "installation" sections in order to understand how the mod works (don't worry, it's not very complicated).
I highly recommend downloading Jorak Uln's Manaan complete overhaul to give some fresh air to the game and to the Tournament itself. If not already done, Kexikus's Skyboxes too. It includes Manaan as well as every other planet in the game.
While I'm at it, if you're interested in more new content for Manaan, I also refer you to my speeder fast travel mod.
I deeply linked my mod to Sao's Sleheyron : Story mode. If you download his mod and play through it, my mod's connected characters will react differently and you will unlock new dialogue options. I'd recommend installing his mod before mine.
Unless you really want to know what I added and what K1R had already made, you can skip this section and jump straight to the options.
Optional
I’m sure you will be pleased to know this mod is customizable. It has 4 interesting options.
1) Compatibility or full mode
The only big issue you can encounter with this mod is the placeables limit. This is a KOTOR issue I discovered not long ago. Put simply, you can’t add more than about 25 new placeables in your game. K1R has a bit less than 10, while BOSSR has 20. DarthParametric’s diversified jedi captives on the Star Forge brings 7. Capitaine Spoque’s taxi system on Taris brings 1, such as mine for Manaan.
Most of K1R’s placeables are actually from the Pazaak Tournament. They’re the animated holograms. There are 6. And, to be fair, they’re kind of broken. They disappear behind other placeables such as the exit door and the organizer’s desk.
As this problem is very hard to solve and I don’t have the required modelling skills, I’m giving the following choice to you :
- Full mode : With holograms, if you’re not planning to install many mods that add new placeables.
- Compatibility mode : Without holograms, if you have some of the mods designated above, or others that add many placeables. If you have many mods installed, either you take the risk, or you check yourself in the placeables.2da file with Holocron Toolset, or you simply take the compatibility option. It really doesn’t remove much anyway.
2) New Loadscreen
The Pazaak Tournament is compatible with :
1) adjrenter’s Very nice Loadscreens (See in requirements section for link)
- Option A : Full version (with holograms)
- Option B : Compatibility version : without holograms
These are brand new LoadScreens.
(Option C : You don’t take anything and you’ll get the basic “Very nice style” loadscreen, but it would be kind of a waste).
2) SithSpecter’s HD Loadscreens (See in requirements section for link)
Here, either you don’t take anything and it will be the basic Revan and Malak Loadscreen, or you take this option and you’ll have Ahto East SithSpecter’s HD Loadscreen.
3) Gonto in Thor110’s Manaan Hotel restored room (INSTALLER VERSION)
As showed in the screenshots, this will put Gonto Yas in the Hotel missing room, restored by Thor110. Make sure you install his mod first. It’s actually pretty consistent (not perfect but consistent) that he would be there, because he actually has some stuff to say about the murder.
Just so you know, this option will add a computer, a locker, a table and 2 chairs in Gonto’s room, and will also give some Pazaak cards to Firith Me and make him look at them, towards his shelf (instead of standing in the center of his room like a true npc).
WARNING : This option breaks with Sunry's murder recording enhancement. For now, you'll have to choose between my option and the camera recording mod. However, I will probably fix it during my Christmas holidays, because having both installed would improve Sunry's murder quest a lot, so stay in touch !
4) A brand new crystal from Bogga the Hutt
I’m not telling you why, for obvious reasons, but you might want to speak with this guy. He's got some interesting background.
If you’re the kind of person who installs a lot of mods, including the amazing Crazy34’s lightsaber blade models, you might want to have a look at this. And if you aren’t, well, I can only recommend that you download his models and this option, but you do you anyway. This is an option because it has a requirement. You will still have Bogga and his side quest even if you don’t get that option. You will just lose a cool Viridian lightsaber crystal with a nice story and some buffs.
There shouldn’t be any spelling, grammar or syntax error/mistake as I put love, time and focus on this, but if you do find one, please tell me so I can fix it (this works for every issue you might encounter). Don’t be too harsh, I’m French, and English is by no means my first language.
Requirements
1) For the Loadscreen options :
- ajdrenter’s Very nice Loadscreens
- SithSpecter’s HD Loadscreens
2) For option 3 : Thor110’s Manaan Hotel restored room (INSTALLER VERSION)
3) For option 4 : Crazy34's lightsaber blade models : (only the main part --vanilla sabers-- of his mod is needed)
Installation
Compatibility
My mod is fully compatible with K1CP and RC-K1CP, as they are now (in 2025) the main reference for modders, at least the first one. More than compatible, they’re very much recommended !
It will obviously not be compatible with K1R, as it is meant to replace a big part of it.
Please see option 1 for more information about the main compatibility issue you could encounter.
You can now find a compatibility patch for those who use the NPC Diversity Pack. Make sure you have both mods installed first. Its goal is to restore Jolan's Nikto appearance. By not taking it, he will be a Rodian at the entry of Ahto City and a Nikto in the Tournament area. I'm pretty sure you don't want that to happen.
If you have Alien Ported VO for K1, just install the Tournament after it. I didn't want to change Jolan's language for several reasons (time consuming, not enough Nikto lines diversity, Rodian sounding better in regard to his behavior, etc.).
Known issues
Basically none, except that you'll probably be lagging a little due to the fact that this is now an actual galactic event (meaning with way more NPCs in it). It will appear around the Sith embassy and its corridor, as well as for the end cutscene but that shouldn't be too much of a problem considering it will vanish during the dialogue.
Thanks
1) @Fair Strides for giving me permission to use the amazing K1R’s Pazaak Tournament files and giving some advices.
2) @N-DReW25 for providing me with a working basis by extracting the files from K1R.
3) @SAO1138 for his excellent and detailed advices as well as his creative suggestions. I’m glad I could link my work to his.
4) @CapitaineSpoque for his regular help on making me understand how the game works, and for making the "very nice style" loadscreens.
5) @Crazy34 for his amazing new lightsaber blades models.
6) @Thor110 for his work on restoring the missing chamber. It was a lot of fun to use it.
7) All the amazing people who made the awesome tools I used for this mod : Holocron Toolset, Kotor Scripting Tool, ChangeEdit and HoloPatcher, "Very nice" (@ajdrenter) and "HD" (@Sithspecter) Loadscreens.
8] The KOTOR and, more precisely, DeadlyStream and Nexusmods community (even more precisely, those who download the mod lol), as the game is still alive thanks to all of you.

Optimized and Upscaled Textures - K1
By J
I applied the same process from Optimized and Upscaled Textures - TSL to the original game here.
Compressed and optimized, 2x Upscaled Vanilla Textures
This is not a 4k/8k super high-res remaster of the textures. Priorities were optimizing vanilla textures first, while also doubling the resolution. This should act as a base texture upgrade. Then I suggest you still use other texture mods and bug fixes on top of this.
Every texture has been doubled in resolution. GUI and icons are also included.
All textures are packed as compressed TPCs and then bundled in two .erf files.
INSTALL: extract the 2 .erf files to your game directory\TexturePacks (NOT IN THE OVERRIDE DIRECTORY)
This will overwrite the existing vanilla texture files so back them up if you wish.
Optimization:
- a lot textures were twice the file size they should have been
- the highest quality compression was used on the new texture, it takes a very long time to convert but avoids bad compression artifacts
Upscale:
- HDCube 4 was used to upscale every texture at 2x
- different model weights used depending on the texture
- alpha channels processed separately, then recombined

Galaxy of Faces [K1]
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Author: N-DReW25
1.2.0 Release Date: 27.09.2024
Installation:
Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
This mod replaces the appearances of important named NPCs throughout the game. As such, if you wish to use mods like Onderon Fashion and Smuggler's Deluxe you'll have to install those mods BEFORE this mod.
Simply click on the INSTALL.exe, select "Galaxy of Faces [Main]", click install then sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.
The "Effix's Duelists", "Unique Rodians" & "Build a Bendak" are OPTIONAL. You don't have to install them if you don't want to.
Effix's Duelists includes Effix's unique Gerlon, Ice & Marl heads. This installation is NOT a total copy of Effix's original Taris Arena Changes mod, that mod adds UTC files to the Override and patches those whilst Galaxy of Faces patches the UTCs in the .MOD files provided from the K1CP mod.
If you are using the NPC Diversity Pack, install Effix's Duelists via Galaxy of Faces. If you want the Armors from Effix's Taris Arena Changes, install that mod instead.
Unique Rodians gives various Rodian NPCs unique appearances. If you are using Stormie97's High Quality Alien: Rodians, do NOT install this option as a compatibiity patch for that mod hasn't been developed yet.
Build a Bendak adds a unique appearance for Bendak Starkiller, however, the "N_Bendak.tga" texture is the vanilla Field Marshal texture. After installing this option, I encourage the player to replace this texture with a Mandalorian texture from a mod of your choosing, I personally recommend RedRob41's Bendak Starkiller Emblem Armour though do feel free to select a skin YOU want instead!
Simply delete the "N_Bendak.tga" texture in your Override folder, rename your desired texture to either "N_Bendak.tga" or "N_Bendak.tgc" and place it in your Override.
Description:
From the good old days of late 70s/early 80s cinema, the expansive comics and novels of the 90s and 2000s, the rise of modern Star Wars video games and well into the Disney era, the Star Wars Galaxy has always been a "Galaxy of Faces".
And I'm not just referring to the faces of the main characters. I'm referring to background characters such as the aliens of Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Episode 4 (many of whom were merely random alien costumes who have since evolved into staples of Star Wars alienography with timeless classics like Rodians, Aqualish and Devaronians amongst them), or the the Bounty Hunters hired by Darth Vader to track down the Millennium Falcon in Episode 5 (despite only having 4 lines of dialogue and just over 6 minutes of screen time, Boba Fett has since become just as popular as the main characters mostly down to his unique bad ass appearance in his limited screen time) or the background Jedi characters sprinkled throughout the prequel trilogy (despite never saying a word in the movies, the Jedi Plo-Koon, Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura have since become fan favorites)!
Why do I say this? I think it goes without saying that unique appearances are what makes or breaks a character, and BioWare's 2003 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG has a few problems with this.
As with many video games from this period of gaming, KoTOR has a problem with NPC appearances. In Kotor, the generic background NPCs are referred to as "Commoners" both in the game files and in-game sometimes, the game has 24 generic NPC appearances including 2 white heads, 2 black heads and 2 asian heads for both adult and old appearances which are split between male and female types with an additional male and female white and asian "Tatooine" commoner variant that exists for some reason, bringing the total of commoner appearances up to 24.
Throughout KoTOR, many of these generic appearances aren't even used for background NPCs, those background NPCs receive the low-resolution Lite appearances leaving the actual generic heads for named NPCs. NPCs like Holdan, Jon, Junix Nard, Matton Daisel, Firith Me and Kel Algwinn are all well written characters that really bring these environments to life... but sometimes these NPCs are forgettable simply due to the fact that they use the same appearances, the NPCs I named were strategically chosen as they both use the exact same 1st white and asian male commoner heads. This "clone" problem is intensified once you install NPC Overhaul style mods that remove the Lite appearances and replace them with generic commoner appearances as now you'll be seeing the same 24 heads across over a hundred NPCs throughout the game.
This mod aims to fix that by giving many of these named NPCs unique heads to differentiate them from the generic heads. This mod aims to one day cover almost EVERY single named NPC in the game where possible through a combination of NPC appearances made by me, modder's resources and mods with the modder's permission.
But do keep in mind, not ALL the modded unique heads will be added. Instead, if you consult the "Recommended Mods.txt" file you shall find a list of other mods that I personally recommend that shall also add new unique heads for NPCs that aren't part of this mod.
Thus far, most of the unique heads of the K1 Enhancement Pack modder's resource have been added.
To read about what appearances have been added thus far, please consult the "List.txt" file for a complete list of new appearances.

True Ajunta
By N-DReW25
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Author: N-DReW25
1.0.0 Release Date: 15.11.2025
Installation:
Install the Kotor 1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod.
Simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, select your swkotor directory, click install and sit back and watch the HoloPatcher do its magic.
If you want Ajunta Pall to appear transparent, please copy the textures from the "Transparent Skins" folder into your Override folder and overwrite the non-transparent skins that were installed by the HoloPatcher.
Description:
Ajunta Pall is a long dead Sith Lord who you encounter in Kotor I as a Force Ghost. The problem with Ajunta's depiction as a Force Ghost, other than George Lucas' (and later Disney's) retcons to how Force Ghosts work, is that Bioware was lazy when it came to making Ajunta's appearance and gave him a generic Dark Jedi model with a basic reskin that makes his robes a whitish blue color and they also gave him an energy shield effect to make him appear more ghostly.
There have been two mods over the years that turn Ajunta Pall's appearance from an underpaid Bioware intern's first draft into something that you'd actually expect a Sith's Force Ghost to look like.
In 2007, we saw the Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance mod by SilverEdge9 that reskinned the cut Jedi Council robe model and Deadeye Duncan's head to make Ajunta look like a creepy old Sith Lord. And in 2018, we saw the Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance mod by VarsityPuppet that added a unique model that's heavily inspired by the TOR MMO that makes Ajunta look like he was a strong Sith Warrior during his lifetime.
These two mods are great, but my problem with the Ajunta Pall mods was caused by the Kotor Mod Builds managed by Snigaroo. In his builds, he lists SilverEdge9's Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance as being faithful to Ajunta Pall's canonical appearance. What is Ajunta Pall's canonical appearance? The statue inside his tomb, of course.
But when you look at the statue and compare it to SilverEdge9's Ajunta Pall, you will quickly realize that SilverEdge9's depiction of Ajunta is in no way inspired by the statue. The Ajunta Pall statue uses the old Asian man head and the Nemo Jedi robes whilst SilverEdge9's Ajunta Pall uses Deadeye Duncans head and the cut Jedi Council robes.
My mod, the True Ajunta mod, adds what I think is Ajunta Pall's *actual* canonical appearance to the game. This mod gives Ajunta a reskinned old Asian man head and a reskinned Nemo robe so that Ajunta *actually* resembles the statue inside the tomb.
As for the mention of Snigaroo's Mod Build here, should Snigaroo not approve of how my mod handles Ajunta he won't be adding it to the Build despite my opinion that my mod is a more accurate canonical representation of Ajunta than SilverEdge9's mod - ultimately it is his decision whether to include, or not include, mods in the Builds and should he not include this mod I do not want you, the player, to harass him for that decision.
Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have any bugs but if you find any please report it to me on Deadlystream.
Incompatibilities:
Obviously incompatible with any mod that modifies Ajunta Pall's appearance.
Please report any further incompatibilities!
Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.
The texture of Ajunta Pall's robes, on the other hand, is free to use as it came from the K1EP Modder's Resource
Thanks to:
SilverEdge9: For making the Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance mod from which I borrowed the source code which removes Ajunta Pall's shield!
VarsityPuppet: For making the Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance mod!
Sniggles: For adding SilverEdge9's mod to his Mod Build which inspired me to make this mod!

Vorn Daasraad's Krayt Dragon Pearl
By Raven-Fal
This mod allows you to loot a Krayt Dragon Pearl off of Vorn Daasraad's body (he's the Gamoreon Genoharadan target on Tatooine). This mod will only work on a save file from before Vorn Daasraad has been spawned.
I always thought it was odd that you couldn't get a Krayt Dragon Pearl from Vorn, since the whole reason he's on Tatooine is because he's hunting a Krayt Dragon. You even
see the dragon's dead body if you attack him with his own droid.
Now you can get a 2nd Krayt Dragon Pearl without being a total jerk to Komad Fortuna. Or a 3rd, if you're okay with being a jerk. Of course, since Vorn is a Genoharadan target, you'll still have to get Dark Side points if you want the extra Pearl. Keeps things within the original spirit of the game.
Installation:
Drop the file into your Override Folder.

Switch Animated Energy Shields PATCH
Just a couple of TXI files to support Dark Hope's Animated Energy Shields mod on the switch. Couldn't have gotten these working properly without the help of Sith Holocron. Thanks for that.
Posting this so anyone who wanted the animations on the switch now can have them.
Installation is simple, just drop the TXI files into the override/Textures folder in atmosphere after installing Dark Hopes Animated Energy Shields.
Shouldn't require a new game to be made, and should be compatible with everything out there except anything that modifies the energy shield textures.
To uninstall, simply remove the TXI files.

Manaan Fast Travel system
Main idea
Has the time it takes to get from one end of Ahto City to the other ever seemed too long ? Has it ever annoyed you ? If so, this mod is exactly what you need. It adds a custom speeder, using LoneWanderer’s modder resource, to every part of the city, allowing you to traverse it in seconds.
If you want more new content for Manaan, I refer you to my Manaan Pazaak Masters Tournament restoration.
This mod was at first an add-on to Capitaine Spoque’s Taris Rapid Transit System. Thus, to get the best game experience and as I used some of his sound files, I greatly advise to download his mod.
However, if for some reason you don’t want it, you have 2 options :
1) You won’t have power on and off sounds for the speeder, even though it will still be enjoyable, don’t worry.
2) You download Capitaine Spoque’s mod but you do not install it on your game installation. You will instead go to his tslpatchdata folder, take the In.wav and out.wav files and put them in your streamwaves folder. Then you will have the power on and off sounds. I recommend copying these 2 files somewhere near my mod's location in case you need to reinstall it. After having done that, you can delete the rest of his mod from your computer. See Installation section for when to follow these steps.
To give more realism to my mod, and in order to having a better insertion into the game, I added a new line to the security selkath who opens you the door to the city, as well as some directly on the speeders. You will have to load a save before entering Ahto City. Starting a game where you are in the docking bay module (and in which you’ve never been further into the city) should be good.
Another important advice : if you haven't already, you should really consider downloading and installing (before mine) these 2 essential mods for Manaan, for it to look like in the screenshots (especially the blue ground that goes so well with the speeders imo) :
1) Manaan Complete Overhaul by Jorak Uln (animated and better textures) :
2) High Quality Skyboxes by Kexikus (better skies for every planet, including Manaan):
Installation
1) Make sure you have the required mods, (especially Capitaine Spoque's unless you don't want to use it), installed
2) Download mine and unzip it (small tip if you’re struggling : use 7-Zip)
3) Run the installer and follow the instructions given by it
4) This is where you will do the option 2 steps given in the Main section if you really don’t want to use Capitaine Spoque’s mod.
5) You’re good to go. If you enjoy the mod (or even if you didn't, as long as it's constructive), feel free to leave a review. Doesn’t cost much and is really appreciated.
To uninstall this mod, you will have to do what HoloPatcher put in the "backup" folder when you downloaded the mod (taking MOD and 2DA backup files, putting them back in your game installation, and removing my mod's files from Override and streamwaves). You can also delete the In and out .wav files from streamwaves if you didn't use Capitaine Spoque's mod.
Compatibility
My mod is fully compatible with K1CP, as it is now (in 2025) the main reference for modders. It probably will be compatible with K1R too. However, you might want to know that my mod adds a row to placeables.2da which has a limit of new rows (about 25), and I believe K1R uses 8 of them (which is why I made a compatible version of the Pazaak Tournament for K1CP or vanilla installations !).
Conclusion : you'll be fine unless you have other mods installed that add too many rows themselves (K1R : 8, BOSSR : 20, DarthParametric's Diversified Jedi prisoners on the Star Forge : 8, etc.).
Apart from that, it will basically be compatible with everything as long as your placeable.2da has less than 255 rows filled (which should always be the case because not many mod adds as many rows to this file as it would require to reach the limit). Furthermore, as I used HoloPatcher to modify the .2da and .mod files directly in your game installation, and also named my files with the most customized names I could, you shouldn’t have any conflict with mods you already have installed.
However, if for some reason you encounter any issue, feel free to report to me.
Thanks
1) SAO, who generously gave me a base for the mod, that I just had to improve and make compatible with HoloPatcher.
2) Capitaine Spoque for his brilliant Taris Rapid Transit System, as well as the help he brought. Thanks for teaching me how to modify MOD and GIT files, and how to set up the Patcher properly.
3) LoneWanderer for his awesome speeder port from SWTOR
4) All the amazing people who made the gretools I used for this mod : Holocron Toolset, Kotor Scripting Tool, ChangeEdit and HoloPatcher.
5) The KOTOR and, more precisely, DeadlyStream community (even more precisely, those who download the mod 😁), as the game is still alive thanks to all of you.
