  1. In other more recent news... Free Decorations and Flair Code: Go to https://account.swtor.com/user/codes and enter the code SWCELEBRATION19 four new exclusive decorations and one piece of flair from the Star Wars Celebration 2019. While you're there, you can try some of the other codes which may or may not work. SWCELEBRATION18 (character profile flair) SWCELEBRATION17 (free droid) SWCANTINA17 (free mount) NYCANTINA16 (free mount) If you can't recall how to activate flair in the game (or just want to see the free flair for last year), visit this thread.
  2. Tonight, I power down my desktop and start wrapping up the cords.  The movers start packing on April 17th but I want everything arranged before they get here.  Look for updates on this blog starting around April 26th.  You can leave messages on that blog as I won't be responding to this update after I hit Submit. See you on the other side but bye for now!

Oh and if you want see the updates on my blog, make sure to hit the follow button on the blog's page.

  3. These may or may not helpful to you but here they are nonetheless. Sound files I've saved - some with and without filters, and some one way or the other. If you need me to do mine, ask me after I'm settled. (If you don't know what I mean by settled, read this blog.)
  4. Just watched the teaser trailer. I'm not feeling it. However, my wife will drag me to this movie so I'll wait to drop comments until after I see the full movie in December. I'll skip the rest of the trailers and this thread until then. I'll just put a request out now that that folks to please contain their spoiler talk and theories to only this thread so those that wish to be unexposed can do so successfully.
  5. I bought the hard copy about 5 minutes after posting the OP. It's being shipped to a different location as I'll be moving very shortly.
  6. This article on Kotaku - How Knights Of The Old Republic Pulled Off A Voice-Acting Triumph - is well worth the read. I'll likely be picking up the book that the article is an excerpt from.
  7. If you prefer it is as a motion comic, here's another option for you all.
  8. Sounds like you're referring to "Unseen, Unheard" - which was written by Chris Avellone. Here it is.
  9. Thanks for your input, @Bovolt! I happen to have a number of the voice files saved on my computer- some of them in unfiltered versions. Should I make these available to the public so folks can try their own filters on them?
  10. I thought with the removal of Xarwarz form the site that this had been covered but what's the Staff opinion on this? A story in three pictures... 1. Review of the rule. (Emphasis added.) 2. Link to the Patreon listed on his mod. 3. The actual Patreon page with the proverbial "extended hat" Note the tiers start at $1 a month. They go up to $100 a month.
  11. Reading my comments on the download page might give you the answer. Or read my status update...
  12. However . . . I wasn't going to use the M4-78 filter but just use a typical softly-spoken ASMR-type voice.
  13. The original plan was to make an ASMR video set on the Ebon Hawk, then just drop a link on my Status Update not explaining it at all.
  14. Yes, Gordon Freeman doesn’t speak in the Half-Life games so yeah, this is an April Fool’s joke.  That doesn’t necessarily mean that this mod might not be useful to you.  If muting the male player character from KotOR1 might be something you’re interested in, this is the mod for you.  Yes, it actually works.

You should’ve seen what I originally had planned for this year...

What was originally planned? Very curious.

I was actually hoping the the sounds would be the HEV suit voice files 😂

  15. I may have made this a little too easy this year. Yes, Gordon Freeman doesn’t speak in the Half-Life games so yeah, this is an April Fool’s joke. 16. I thought that might be where you were going. I'll send you a PM about this as to not distract people from the main thrust of this blog.
  17. View File [K1] Gordon Freeman from Half Life - PC Replacement Soundset AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 01 APR 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: If you’ve played Half Life 1 or 2, perhaps you might have considered making your character sound like Gordon Freeman. With this mod for KotOR1, now you can! Installation: You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow. 1) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them. (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!) Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder. 3) When you're done with the beta, you can delete my files from the Streamsounds folder and put the original files back in there. Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful. “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!” Uninstall: Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder. Legal Disclaimer: All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless notified in writing of permission granted by me. 19. I'm not part of the team so I didn't handle anything for 1.5. I didn't even run the beta. The rest of protocol droids where exactly? I am not sure what you exactly mean by this, I'm afraid. Could you expand on that?
  20. I'm looking for the music that can found through any of the dailies, flashpoints on CZ-198.  I'll also take the music in the trailer for CZ-198.  Assistance would be appreciated - it's for a little video I'm putting together. (It's probably the last one that I'll do before the computer is packed up for the move.)

Oh. I recognize it after listening again. Can't believe I missed the second part, as it's only from one part of the entire game and one of my favorite scores. The first section (before the "Game Update" text) is a short track named eventtheme_general_sithorder_02 with that specific part.

But the second part is the music from Balmorra. That specific bit in the trailer is regionevent_balmorra_main.

These textures are a part of my Ebon Hawk balanced breakfast.
  21. Looks like you got some key icons that might need to be edited out there. I may as well post a few on my own before the computer is packed up. Space CZ-198
