AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 JAN 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: Now your (female) character in KotOR1 can sound like the character “Vette” from SWTOR. Vette is the first companion you acquire as the Sith Warrior in SWTOR. If the character sounds just like Mission from KotOR and acts like her too, that might be because they’re voiced by the same voice actress! This fact enabled me to use lines from both KotOR and SWTOR. Seeing that someone has been ruthlessly insisting on multiple hues of Twi’leks recently, I figured I’d head that request off before it came up. Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios. You'll have to let me know in the review section below. (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.) Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if you wish to put them in your review. This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me. Installation: ----------------- You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow. 1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them. (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!) Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder. Note: If you're using the mod on Steam this quote may prove helpful. “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through Steam and reinstalling the mod though!” So . . . uh . . . keep that in mind. Uninstall: -------------- Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder. Legal Disclaimer: ------------------------- All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless notified in writing of permission granted by me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested and approved by me in writing before your use.

  5. View File [K1] SWTOR Male Jedi Consular - PC Replacement Soundset AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 26 JAN 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: By request, now your (male) character in KotOR1 can sound like the male Jedi Consular from SWTOR. OK, actually no one requested this one but it was the first SWTOR class I used and I haven’t put up many male sound sets. Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios. You'll have to let me know in the review section below. (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.) Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if your review. I would've done it myself but my computer has not been brought to repair shop yet. This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. 7. Do either the Manaan or Tatooine cantinas have official (or unofficial) names?

      N-DReW25

Tatooine is called "Junix Nard's Cantina"

It looks like I found something else to take up my time rather than working on Cantina signs (see the download section).  Besides, I'd rather see what someone else could come up with.  (Although if you need a name for a Manaan bar., I've thought of one.)

  8. I am almost done with this but I still need lines that a PC would say when they are about go into stealth mod. I have one, but I could use two more. Please submit your best line replacement candidates for the male Jedi Consular ASAP. Update: Never mind. I found the last two lines I needed in the Voss chapter. You can download the last sound set pack here .
  9. And if you've seen this movie before, you might appreciate seeing an example of some of the difference between the original version and the Special Edition. Here's a short clip for that. I'll be working so I, unfortunately, won't be able to watch it with you guys but I hope you will be there to support the folks that made this movie.
  10. If you ever wanted to check it out again, you could always use my link. See my blog for details. (And there's my shameless self-promotion.) It's "canon". The teacher sentences you to remedial instruction.
  11. I was very tired and mixed up what Kainzorus' old screen name was - it was "Don Kain" not "Prime." Just to note, I recolored the textures and sent them to his PM. He or She has not opened those but he or she has left little Dark Side Points tags on my posts all over the place - including my current Status Request.
  12. I think I have a new quote for my signature.
  13. I sent him the files. He doesn't have to change his name but patience in the future might be advised.
  14. Sending it now. Now scram kid, you're botherin' me.
  15. First off, my apologies to Kainzorus Prime for confusing him with Prime. I was up all night and I guess I was a little tired. (That wasn't his old screen name!) So sorry about that, KP. Secondly, if you were trying to pull a fast one @PurpleClone, it kind of back fired on you.
  16. I have been up all night. I have sent Kainzorus Prime the recolored version. If he thinks it's OK for you to have it, I imagine he'll forward the recolored version of his mod that I sent to him. Either way, my part in this concluded. Have an excellent day while I (finally) go to sleep.
  17. My PM to you is ready, assuming a positive response from Prime.
  18. If he gives permission in this thread, I'll send you a recolored version via PM.
  19. If this fella could import BF2 armor, he wouldn't be asking for help.
  20. I won't for two reasons: 1) I'm not altering another person's mod and distributing it without their permission. 2) I don't wish to be responsible for walking you through how to install it.
  21. Your best bet is to grab this mod by Prime and recolor the stripes yourself.
  22. The instructions have been updated accordingly - along with some advice for Steam users as well.
