kotormax [Query] Integrate Mask Model to Head Model

Thanks for the advice! One other reason I thought It'd be better to integrate the mask to the model was because when reloading the area, the mask are often [if not always] didn't shown on the NPC's head. I have checked all necessary feats [Armor Pro: Light, Medium, Heavy] but they still disappeared after saving and loading the game. The only time it shown properly was when the very first time the UTC of the particular NPC was loaded. But still I'm so thankful for the advice, at least there is a progress that I could potentially made. Thank you for the details; I'll try 'em right away! Update: Yes! It works, @DarthParametric! I do it in not a very legitimate way actually; I can't seem to make the mask's OdysseyBase as a child of the hook- but I manage to drag down the MaskHook and GoogleHook's boxes to a position where they should be. Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope you all doing fine. In my current attempt I have successfully attached the MaskHook and GoogleHook to a head model and it works as intended in-game. But as I'm not properly adjust the position of the mask it looks way out of bounds from the head. As I'm using a custom head here; I have been told that it's probably easier just to integrate the mask into the head model. My query is: How to integrate the mask model to the head model? The program that is available to me is gmax/KOTORmax, and I already know how to import models and some basic stuffs so- any advises could just skip to the attaching part and into the exporting process if one's don't mind it. This mod replaces K1's vanilla static swoop monitor with TSL ported swoop monitor with added animations on its screen. # Background # Lately I have been attempting few porting stuffs between TSL to K1 and then wondered "can PLC_xx be ported?" and the answer is here. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are: One TSL ported swoop monitor model: plc_swscreen MDL/MDX One TSL ported swoop monitor texture in TPC format: TSL_SwpMntr One custom made 11 frames-animated swoop screen in TPC format: AnmtdSwpScrn # Final Remarks # This attempt were much inspired by Sith Holocron's "Swoop Monitors Replacement Pack" as without the said mod, it wouldn't go anywhere than just a mere idea. I learned a lot from his texture and TXI's setup so- lots of credits pretty much addressed to SH and his work! Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. As far as I could recall the texture won't work if you manually renamed the extension to TGA; you will need to export it directly as TGA either from PS/GIMP. Best of luck in the future attempt! Edit: White-textureless head is a result of the game could not read the assigned texture for the particular head. Even if renamed correctly- which in this case is PMHC04, it'd still be unreadable.

Edit: I hope you don't mind me providing a support here, DH. You will need to extract the archive using 7-Zip; least it works for me that way. I encountered the same issue on the first attempt with using WinRAR, and then just straight guessing I'll need 7-Zip on this one. Hopefully that'll works the same for you.

What about the cape's shadows? I have noticed that also on my end it didn't shows-up as seen in the screenshot below; although inside the robe's model information the shadow parameter to all meshes necessary does pointed to 1 which I believe it should be active. 🤔

Yes! With the texture- actually, I just have it revisited yesterday with a plan to release it in the near future. But with the model- I'm not sure if I can make it available as it belongs to miro42 that is included with "Juhani Real Cathar Head". Anyway, you can still get the same result with what's in the screenshot by using the texture on top of miro42's model which you will have it installed. Many thanks! Very much appreciated.

Hello, and be well y'all! These are some music that I have been listening mostly this year; and mostly wasn't released in 2018 neither lol: The Disconnect Early this year I'm most into Metal-HC stuffs [again] particularly Counterparts. After the hiatus of most Metalcore bands, I found Counterparts is still the most relevant band [from the particular style] to heard on to. Traveller I switch a lot between music preferences; when I wanted to chill and relax- I'm mostly listening to Vanilla's. Demiurge Been a fan of Meshuggah since obZen; and when in need on that dose of insanity- I'd listen to them mostly. The Great Gig In The Sky When you wanted to take your brain to a 5 minutes vacation, this masterpiece is a place to go to. The Revanchist Probably the only 2018's released music that I have heard to lol. Hahah- yeah, to tell truth I found this song when surfing through the dark side of the net to find any relevance of KotOR's Revanchist but I stumbled to this song instead. I'm not disappointed, the song is cool coming from an awesome band which most of them songs are kind of themed with the Old Republic era- the way I heard them; and you should probably listen to Kirisute Gomen also which song was so intense! Two Tens Madam I listen to Dego & Kaidi's [Kaidi Tatham] while working on a project, like mostly. They were somewhat inspiring for me- the music. Cool stuffs!

There is an HD version of him included here- but if by what you mean was a remake with newly added details here-and-there; I don't think there weren't any yet on the surface. 🤔 Trask's texture name [in the game files] is: N_TraskH.

Could be: valten7's "Long Hair for Revan" combined with inyriforge's "Bearded PMHC01 Head Replacement"? 🤔 It looks somewhat familiar which at a point I believe I have the head tested before.

Holy crap, this is something else- hahah! Amazing- ultra awesome- Seriously, that is like an other-worldy texture work I've seen there. Thanks for creating and sharing the masterpiece; @Dark Hope and @Sith Holocron! P.S. not really having this installed as I like to keep the vanilla looks with mine, but the amount of attention to details put into this work is worth a perfect *****

Greetings, DarthParametric! I have been using the mod most of the time but in my recent playthrough I haven't include the optional "new Jedi as background NPCs to the Enclave on Dantooine" content because of the over-looping lightsaber's clashing sounds were just too much for my ears. I am thinking of an additional option which perhaps you can pull off with the next update- if you are interested: Would it be possible to take off the lightsabers from the dueling Jedis so they looked like they were training hand-to-hand combat? Both the Flirt FF and Tanis Trapped Improved were awesome! Anyway, with the intro animation of Tanis Trapped Improved; what do you think about using the angry animation instead? The one that the subject clenched and swinging their fist sort of. I'm just assuming that it'll fit better with Tanis' threatening line. 🤔 Nevertheless, fantastic work on the improvement- Salk!
