  1. Kotor 1 Clothing Texture Enhancement

    I'm very proud to announce that Malkior, and I have teamed up to make this mod. Basically what this mod will do is replace all of the boring normal clothing/armor/robes from Kotor 1 and replace them with cooler textures, new stats for them, and other things. Just a heads up, some armors might look a little goofy, but I wanted to replace the boring stuff from the vanilla game
     
    I edited all of the textures, editing uti’s and collaborated with community members about certain things.
    Malkior extracted several files (robe files), edited the robes uti’s, and guided me through this very interesting first project (for me).
     
    This is my first mod, and I did this all on a Mac. See, Mac players can mod too
     
    I would like to thank those of you who suggested several textures, stats, and other things to help me out through this process. I’d like to thank forgetcanon for helping me through the process of getting Kotor Tool to work on my Mac. I’d also like to thank Malkior for guiding/helping me through my first mod, and not backing off even though I rushed him with the robes on my last day of editing (sorry). Finally, I’d like to thank Fair Strides for everything that he has done for me. Even though I’ve only known him for about a month, he’s helped me more than anyone else has with gaming.
     
    All of the armors and clothing replace the core games files. I adjusted the stats of every item (Except for clothing). I made it so that people would want to use the lighter armor, so be aware of the heavy armor. And by the way, there’s one armor that I purposefully made super over powered. It costs 100,000 credits, so be ready to spend some money.
    The codes for all of the armors are the same as the vanilla codes, so look them up.
     
    I didn’t replace the games core game robes. I placed them randomly through the game.
     
    Installation: Unzip all of the separate 7z files, and then place all of the files into the override.

    Description:
    During your travels across the galaxy you have the opportunity to find rare lightsaber crystals in various locations. The Sapith Crystal and the Solari Crystal in Kotor 1 both share the same white crystal icons but in Kotor 2 the Sapith crystal has a brand new icon. When I made my red lightsaber crystal fix I found the exact icon in the Kotor 1 assets for the Sapith Crystal, so this mod will replace the sapith crystal icon and change it into the same icon used in Kotor 2

    this mod shouldn't have bugs but if their is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
     
    Incompatibilities:
    Is incompatiable with anything that edits "g_w_sbrcrstl04.uti" though I don't know anything that edits that.

  3. Sith Stalkers [K1]

    Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
    If you intend to play with DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes then you'll have to install that mod BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1].
    To install Sith Stalkers [K1], simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.

    Description:
    In 2012, on a modding forum not so far away, the modder "reapper" made a mod that added the Sith Stalker Armor from the 2008 video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed".
    Not long after this, a modder by the name of "DeadMan" ported reapper's mod to K1. In 2014, another modder named "Constar" made a mod called "proper Sith Assassins" that essentially converted the Sith Assassins in TSL into Sith Stalkers from TFU. In 2017, a modder called "N-DReW25" made a parody of Constar's "Proper Sith Assassins" by replacing the Dark Jedi NPCs with DeadMan's Sith Stalkers.
    Now, in 2022, 10 years after reapper's original Sith Stalker release and 5 years after the release of the K1 Proper Sith Assassin's mod, N-DReW25 has reorganized the Proper Sith Assassin's mod into the FIRST GALACTIC- *Cough*- into the Sith Stalkers [K1] mod.
    This mod will no longer replace ALL of the Dark Jedi NPCs as the old mod did, instead, you will now find Sith Stalkers alongside the Dark Jedi NPCs across the galaxy in places such as:
    * Tatooine
    * Kashyyyk
    * Manaan
    * Korriban
    * Lehon
    * The Leviathan
    * The Star Forge
    The only difference between the Sith Stalker NPCs and the usual Dark Jedi NPCs is that their names are now "Sith Stalker" and their soundsets have been switched to the Sith Soldier soundset. As of version 1.2.0, the Sith Stalkers are exactly the same as their vanilla counterparts in terms of difficulty. Perhaps in future updates I may choose to make the Sith Stalker NPCs a tad harder then the Dark Jedi NPCs.

    Incompatibilities:
    Will be compatible with Dark Jedi mods if you install them BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1].
    If your mod modifies the Dark Jedi NPCs modified in my mod, feel free to leave a comment and I will tell you if that mod is compatible or not.
    DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes mod, for example, is compatible with my mod as I only replace a small handful of Dark Jedi with Sith Stalkers, thus meaning if you install DP's mod first and mine second then you'll see Dark Jedi in Robes alongside Sith Stalkers.

  4. Quanons Twilek Outfits

    Quanons Twilek Outfits.
     
    A new pack to replace the old Twilek skins with a new look.
    These are new and are differant then the old skins. So it's not really a reskin. Since I went for another style on all of them.
     
    Look at the screenshots to pick and choose. I did NOT redo the heads though.
    I suggest using Caches mod for that. She did a really great job and you can seem them in the screenshots!
     
    So you know it just fits
     
    The green twilek has 2 options. A Black/ Red out fit or you can go for just the red look overall.
    Each skin as a TXI file so you should get some shiney effect. It's set to CM_Spec as I like the look of that effect more then CM_Baremetal.
     
    Feel free to adjust the TXI to your own liking.
     
    INSTALLING:
     
    Copy the files from my mod folder to your Override.
    Done!

    Version 1.1.0 adds another variant of the K1 Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes mod, you can now pick between the original "Replace ALL Jedi Robes" variant or the brand new "Replace the Master Robes ONLY" variant. You can only pick ONE variant, you CANNOT have both.
    * How to install "Replace ALL Jedi Robes" variant.
    Install JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 1.4 mod first (This mod REQUIRES Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 to work properly): https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1378-jcs-fashion-line-i-cloaked-jedi-robes-for-k1/
    Once you've installed JC's mod, copy the contents of the "For Override" folder and paste it into your swkotor Override folder, overwrite files if necessary.

    JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes is NOT required for this variant to work, however, if you do choose to install JC's mod (Or any Jedi Robe mod) then it is recommended to install them BEFORE this variant (And DON’T install the gloveless version of JC’s Cloaked Robes for this one either!).
    I personally recommend you install the Kotor Prequel Replacement Mod by Kainzorus Prime: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/412-kotor-prequel-robe-replacement/
    The way this variant works is that it replaces the Revan Robes 2DA slot with the Movie-Style Robes, this allows players to use the Prequel Replacement mod/JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes or even the vanilla Jedi Robe model ALONGSIDE the Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes.
    To install this variant, double click the TSLPatcher.exe and let the TSLPatcher do its magic!
    Afterwards, you can also install "Revan patch" to replace the Star Forge/Revan Robes with disguise items that convert the player into Revan, this is a temporary fix until a proper fix can be made in the future.
    Description:
    This mod is a K1 port of DeadMan's "Movie-style Jedi Master robes 1.5" mod from TSL. In version 1.1.0, the robe textures are styled as they are in vanilla (Padawan, Knight and Masters robes all having the same Brown, Blue, Red or Black color).
    This might change in later versions of the mod depending on the demand for such.
    The Qel-Droma Robes recieve a unique texture whilst the Revan/Star Forge Robes do not.
    If you chose the gloveless installation for JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes mod, then the K1 Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes shall also be gloveless.
    In version 1.1.0, an alternative installation was added. This installation can be found within "Replace Jedi Master Robes ONLY" and will only give the Jedi Master Robe items a unique Movie-Style Jedi Master Robe model whereas the Jedi Robe/Jedi Knight Robes maintain their vanilla models unscathed.
    If you install JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes or the Kotor Prequel Replacement Mod beforehand, you could have TSL Padawan robes or Prequel Replacement Robes alongside the Movie-Style JEdi Master Robes!

    The War Torn Mullet Man is a mod that adds a new selectable head for your PC. Similar to my New PMHH01 mod for TSL, this mod goes for the older, more worn look befitting someone who has been through wars, rather than someone in their twenties fresh out of the Jedi Temple. This mod tries to reflect that look, making him appear to be in his mid-thirties. There are no zombie style dark side transitions here. They are more subtle so as to appear similar to the movies' version. In addition to the head, this character comes with custom clothes as well, which are a reskin of the default Scout clothing. To top it all off, this mod comes with custom portraits modeled after the default ones.

    In Kotor 1 you can obtain an armor called Mandalorian Assault Armor which disguises your character into a blue Mandalorian as if your actually wearing there full
    body armor which was a good feature about the last few missions in kotor but if you play TSL you will know that the Mandalorian Assault Armor has a unique armor reskin which
    for me was a big slap in the face since I personally liked seeing Canderous as a Mandalorian but when I was searching through the game textures I found out that the TSL Mandalorian
    Assault Armor texture appears in the files of Kotor 1 meaning that the Texture appearing in TSL was intended for Kotor 1 but was cut at the last minute and replaced with a disguise though
    personally I would prefer the disguise though the Hardcore Restoration Fans say otherwise

    Good afternoon. I worked very long on these textures. I can call them one of the best of my works. The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy.

    This mod adds a new graphic to the Qel-Droma robes found on Korriban, changing them (only for females) to resemble Rey's clothing from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It also contains a new item icon.
     
    ->Installation:
    Simply copy the files into your KotOR override folder.
    If you already have a file that changes the appearance of Qel-Droma's Robes for females ( the "PFBI05.tga" file) this will replace it.
     
    I recommend using the robe only on a Caucasian female because parts of it have been modified to show more skin (the neck, arms and hands), and it's white. It was, after all, made with Rey in mind.

  12. Quanons Carth Onasi Reskin

    Another reskin finished.
     
    This time Carth gets a facelift. Upped the size of his head, clothing and underwear skin.
    Kept it very vanilla, no major changes to hair color, eyes or anything of that sort: just basic Carth. But a little crisper looking.
     
    Update V1.2:
     
    Carth did receive a make over on his hair. He can now be a blondy; a manly black or, more like his vanilla look a 'brunette'; comes in 2 flavors, regular tone and a darker shade.
    Pick your favorite! Each has a matching portrait.
     
    The regular brown is closets to his old game look. Only the hair has received an update. All the other parts of this mod are the same like before.

  13. Children NPC Fixes

    Installation:
    Consult this readme's description and the mod screenshots on Deadlystream to select which fix option you'd like to install.
    Open the folder which contains your fix option and drag or copy the texture/textures within and drop or paste them into your Kotor 1 or 2 Override folder.
    Recommendation from the mod author: Do NOT install the Caucasian Head option with the Tanned Hands option.
     
    Uninstallation:
    Delete the N_CommKidF01.tga, n_commkidm01.tga and/or N_childFH01.tga files from your Override folder.
     
    Description:
    The Children NPCs in both Kotor games have a few graphical inconsistencies with them, especially the female NPC. The ideal fix for these problems
    are entirely subjective with multiple solutions for the same problem, this mod is a "pack" of different fixes which will allow you to fix the bugs the way you see fit.
     
    The fix options:
    Bug A: The female child has a tanned head with white hands, thus resulting in mismatched skin.
    Fix 1: Caucasian Head, thus matching the head with the hands
    Fix 2: Gloved Children, covering the male and female hands with gloves thus hiding the hands.
    Fix 3: Tanned Hands, thus matching with the head.
    Bug B: The female child NPC uses the same hand texture as the male child, thus resulting in the female having masculine hands.
    Fix 1: Smooth Hands, this fix will smoothen out the hand textures. This option also has sub-options with smoothed Tanned Hands and a male version of the smoothed hands.
     
    Known Bugs:
    This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
     
    Incompatibilities:
    Would be incompatible with any mods which modify N_CommKidF01.tga, n_commkidm01.tga and/or N_childFH01.tga.
    This mod is fully compatible with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords.

  15. Holocron Icon Replacement

    This is a really small and slightly pedantic fix, which changes the icons for the two holocrons you find in KotOR,
    so that one (on Tatooine) looks like a Jedi Holocron, and the other, found on Korriban, looks like a Sith Holocron.
     
    Previously, th two had a generic icon which looked nothing at all like a holocron, and as I was working on a mod
    which needed a holocron for it, I decided to alter the two items while I was at it. At some point, I may make a similar
    mod for KotOR II.
     
    Please note that this mod doesn't use the TSLPatcher, so any mod which alters either holocron will be incompatible.
    To fix this, open the .uti file for the holocron using KotOR Tool, change the "model variation" to the number of
    the holocron model (i.e., 087 for the Jedi holocron, 088 for the Sith one), and save.
     
    Also, the mod uses plot useable item icon slots 87 and 88 for the Jedi and Sith holocrons respectively, so any mod
    which uses these icon slots for a different purpose will be incompatible. To fix this, simply rename the icons to a high enough number that they don't conflict with the other mod any more
    (e.g., to ip_pltuseitm_090), and then open the .uti file using KotOR Tool, change the "model variation" to that number,
    and save.

  17. The New Face of Malak

    I confess. I really like how the character Malak. And I fell in love with it after reading the comic book Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Especially touched when he sacrifices himself for the unfamiliar girl. Malak revealed as heroic, romantic, good-looking young man. We all know what happened to him and made the dark side of the sword Revan. And then Malak lost any hint of attraction. It is not right! I made an alternative texture for the dark lord. I have long thought, how to give it a more attractive appearance. And I'm very happy with what we got. For me it looks manly and attractive, even with the injury suffered.

    A mod for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
     
    Description:
    This mod changes the colour of Cassus Fett's Battle Armour to navy blue, with the stripes changed to black. The dark purple areas are changed to a blue colour.
    I decided to make this skin because I believe Cassus Fett would never have worn an armour that looked so awful.
     
    Changelog from V2:
    - Changed the technique used to add a more professional feel
     
    Installation:
    Put the files in the Override folder that came with this mod into the Override folder in your KotOR directory.
    It works with existing saves, so you can use this mod without having to restart.
     
    Uninstallation:
    Delete the files from your Override folder. If this causes any problems, put the file contained in the Backup folder into your Override.
     
    Compatibility:
    This should work with all mods as long as they do not modify the Cassus Fett's Battle Armour textures and icon.
     
    Bugs:
    I haven't encountered any.

  20. KK's Custom Female PC

    This little mod is actually just a hex-edit of another model (we didn't have shiny tools back then) to point to my new, custom textures, with full DS transitions (though I'm still not super happy with those. Guess I don't play DS often enough to be good at them lol)
     
    Anyways, the revised version (this one) has the colors toned down a little. I got a bit carried away with the original, or maybe the high res I can play in now just makes them stand out a lot more, but in any case, I'm happier with them now.
     
    I also went ahead and made it all TSL Patcher happy, so the modifications it needs to make to appearance.2da, heads.2da, and portraits.2da will merely add to those files, and not break anything (thus, ensuring compatibility). Everything else is uniquely named, so this "head" will appear as an additional (16th) choice for a starting female character and not replace any "core content".
     
    The versions of my armband gizmo with KK_PC in their name support this mod, while other versions of the band will work, but it won't know about this content.

  21. Saul Karath Enhancement

    This mod changes Admiral Saul Karath's uniform to that of a Grand Admiral Uniform; seeing as he was Malak's top Admiral, I felt he should get something extra. This mod also includes a Chiss reskin of Saul Karath.
     
    The mod itself has 6 skins total- 2 for Chiss, 2 for Standard 2 for Both Chiss and Standard Saul.
     
    As a bonus, seeing as this is my first mod- I've decided to make the uniform the default clothes, and also
    included a chiss head- (roughly done sorry.)

    After the demise of my old TSL Dooku skin along with pcgamemods, I've decided to make it once again,
    this time having more experience and using more suitably shaped head. The skin replaces PMHC01,
    or the caucasian guy with scar underneath his right eye. There are custom icons present aswell, though they don't differ too much.
    As Dooku was never shown any sign of dark side corruption, there are no transitions included, all dark side skins using the same one as normal light side head.
     
    2. Instalation:
    =========
    Unpack all files from zip and place them in Override folder.
    If you do not have Override folder, create it in main K1 directory.
     
    3. Usage
    =========
    This replaces the first caucasian pc head, so you just can create new pc or change current appearance via KSE to use it.

    Installation:
    Copy & Paste the files inside the "For Override" folder and place them into the "Override" folder inside your "swkotor" directory.

    Description:
    Since the 2010s, there have been many attempts at creating high quality models and textures for the weapons found in the Kotor games, however, there are several types of weapons which don't have any HD mods in 2023: Gamorrean Battleaxes, Stun Batons and Quarterstaffs.
    But some of you might recall DeadMan's Quarterstaff Replacement Pack from 2012 which replaced the Quarterstaff models with high quality models and textures... this mod was made for Kotor 2 though and was never ported for K1 players to enjoy... until now!
    10 years after the release of the original, the Quarterstaff Replacement Pack has now been ported to K1 replacing the Quarterstaff and the Massassi Battle Staff.
    Quarterstaffs can either be bought from merchants or wielded by NPCs as weapons (such as the Black Vulkars and Outcast NPCs on Taris)

    Known Bugs:
    This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.
    It should be noted that the Massassi Battle Staff sometimes doesn't extend if equipped when the player is doing the "battle pose" animation. The weapon will be able to extend once this animation stops.

    Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com

    The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. It is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated.

    So . . . what’s different?  The planets are now in the positions as laid out in Kexikus’ Canon Galaxy Map for KotOR 1 version 1.1 (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/479-canon-galaxy-map-for-kotor-1/)
    Note: The LEH_scre03 texture is the Galaxy Map *before* you click on it, that is when you can see the rest of the cockpit.
    Not recommended for use in KOTOR2.  (For KotOR2, use this mod instead.)
    There are TWO different versions of the Galaxy Map texture that you can use!
    - Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game. This texture uses Tatooine as the spinning planet. It has 12 frames of animation.
    - Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added Ord Mantell to the map.  This texture uses Dantooine as the spinning planet. It has 17 frames of animation.
    Installation:

    Choose the version that bests suits your uses.  Grab the files from that file folder and drop them into the following folder:
    SWKotOR/Override

    Take them out again.
