  4. Xcom's Grenades Mod

Ed: The mod has not been tested with TSLRCM so I'm currently listing it as TSLRCM incompatible.

    Title: Grenades Mod
    Version: 1.0
    Author: Xcom
    Idea: JCDenton
E-Mail: [redacted - see read-me for more info]
    ------------------------------------------------------

    INSTALLATION::
    Extract k_sup_grenade.ncs to kotor2\Override directory.
If you don't have Override directory inside Kotor2, create it.

    DESCRIPTION::
The mod modifies grenade and rocket damage and DC based on your demolitions skills which means the higher demolition skill,
the greater is damage. This works both ways (also when enemy throw grenades at you). The mod also makes Thermal Detonator
impossible to evade (via Evasion feat).
I'd like to thank everyone who contributed at Holowan Labs.

  8. Character Generation - K1 Style

Thank you to all who have taken the time to view my content. I give permission to use my mods in any future projects with the appropriate credit.

This mod is designed to tap into the nostalgia of first creating your character in K1 by changing the feats of the starting Jedi Classes of TSL to mirror those found in K1. The perceived lack of uniqueness between the classes in TSL formed the basis of this project. I also hope it addresses the notion of being granted feats that the player would not necessarily use or be able to master throughout the game depending on class feat progression.

    Jedi Guardian = Soldier
    Jedi Sentinel = Scout
    Jedi Consular = Scoundrel

    Changes

    1. Protagonist Jedi Guardian is granted Armor Proficiency Light, Medium & Heavy, Power Attack, Power Blast, Weapon Proficiency Blaster Pistol, Blaster Rifle, Melee Weapons & Lightsaber, Force Jump, Jedi Sense, Jedi Defense, and War Veteran at Character Generation.
    2. Protagonist Jedi Sentinel is granted Armor Proficiency Light & Medium, Flurry, Rapid Shot, Weapon Proficiency Blaster Pistol, Blaster Rifle, Melee Weapons & Lightsaber, Force Immunity Fear, Jedi Sense, Jedi Defense, and War Veteran at Character Generation.
    3. Protagonist Jedi Consular is granted Armor Proficiency Light, Critical Strike, Sniper Shot, Weapon Proficiency Blaster Pistol, Melee Weapons & Lightsaber, Force Focus, Jedi Sense, Jedi Defense, and War Veteran at Character Generation.

  10. JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2

    Summary
This mod replaces the lightsaber blade textures. I've made new textures using Saber, a plug-in for After Effects made by visual effect artists who work on the actual films, which they released for free on VideoCopilot.net. The new textures are of higher quality (1024x1024 vs the original 128x128) and should be more accurate to the movie look, given that they were generated with a tool made by movie people.
I've adjusted some of the blade colors; I mainly used math to choose them, placing them at even distributions along the color spectrum, and sticking with the plug-in's default setting for blue. In more practical terms, this means yellow is a bit yellower, while green and violet are closer to the blue end. Blue itself is much brighter than the original. Orange and cyan are no longer reused copies of the Heart of the Guardian and Mantle of the Force colors from K1. They both look more like standard lightsaber blades. Orange's blade color falls exactly between red and yellow - you know, actually orange. Cyan and viridian are evenly placed between blue and green. Silver uses the same color settings as blue, but at 33% saturation. I've added an alternate optional texture to have the viridian blade more closely resemble the original, if you would prefer.

    Video Preview

    Installation
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Copy the files from Override to your own Override folder (if you don't have one, make one). Optionally, copy whatever files you want to use from the Alternate Textures folder to your Override folder, replacing the previously-installed files. If you use the Ultimate Saber Mod, copy the files from the USM New Colors folder to your Override folder. This gives all colors added in USM the same upgrade for visual consistency.
    Uninstallation
    Remove the installed files.
    Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with any mods that add or alter lightsaber hilts, assuming the use the orginal game textures for the blades.
This mod is not compatible with other mods that alter the lightsaber blade textures, including my own past mods.

  11. Grey Jedi Freedom

    Grey Jedi Freedom

    THE GREY JEDI MOD

    "FOLLOW YOUR OWN RULES"

    Description:
This is a mod for TSL using TSLRCM

This mod will allow you to play as grey Jedi, so you needn't to be lightside or darkside at all.   A new option: Freedom Don't worry about the LS or DS points of your actions, play free, you are the exile.   Do you actually believe on the Jedi code? Are you a worthless Sith?   If you think the only thing is the force and you aren't agree with the Jedi council nor the evil sith lords, your path is the Grey Jedi path.
This mod fits perfect with the storyline. You are an exiled Jedi. You spent some years alone, away from the Jedi rules. You hate the Sith enemies, but you aren't agree with the people that exiled you, so you follow your own code.
Kreia, who is helping you find the force is quite "grey" indeed.     This mod is lore Friendly and suitable for new and first playthroughs     Features:
This mod removes the alignment restrictions needed to advance the story. You don't have to worry about making stupid and nonsense actions to get DS or LS points.
-The penalties for using force powers on the neutral side are reduced, so walking near the 50% LS/DS is as good as pure dark or light. 70% or 20% are the worst levels so is better to stay near the 50%    -Getting prestige class:     The request is to reach level 16.     Kreia will talk about Jedi or Sith classes based on your slight alignment.    You are free to return later if you want to earn some LS or DS points to change the options.
-Visas Marr Vision:  Now you need 70% LS or DS,but the most important thing: Visas Marr will appear with 30 DS/LS  points in any way .You needn't to be that 20% LS or DS, you need to earn 30 points either light or dark (instead of 50 needed by default).   -Access The Korriban Tomb :   You need to reach level 18 to access the tomb. That's all
Specific Rules :   How works the Power cost table:

    LIGHTSIDE VALUES:

    Alignement        Powercost penalty   Lightside                  Darkside Powers   10                              1.75     9                               1.5  8                               1.1 ------------                  -------------- Grey jedi Zone  7                              0.8  6                              0.7  5                              1  6                              0.7  7                              0.6 ------------                 ----------------Grey jedi Zone  8                              0.8  9                              0.7 10                             0.5   Lightside                Lightside Powers

    Fair enough IMO.
If you play pure LS, you have the same advantages and penalties as the original TSL values. The changes are made on the "Grey jedi Zone". There is a penalty for being just in the middle, so you have to choose a side.

The Darkside Table is the same, but inverted.

    XXOOXX

    Notes:
This mod has been lost in my hard drives for years. The work was lost after a hard drive fail, but I recently was able to restore all data from the damaged hard drive.
The mod is proven to work since I have it installed by default in my kotor 2 copy, the problem was to identify the mod files in a very heavy loaded override folder, Now I finally found my  source working files.

  14. [K2] Revans Robes in Ebon Hawk container

Unfortunately, for whatever reason kotor 2 uses the same names for multiple references in the game. This is not an issue for an unmodded game because the files have directories. The problem is when the game is forced to load one of these files (via override folder) and the game will no longer be bothered to differentiate between the games original files.

This is entirely my fault for not testing enough and assuming the game is as modifiable as other titles. I currently do not possess the time to find a workaround for this issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    Update v1.1
Unfortunately this version has conflicts with the decontamination room on in the Peragus hanger now. Use at your own risk.

The prologue bug has been fixed!
In order to fix the prologue bug,  I now edit the Ebon Hawk Container (Davik's spice container from K1) not the hidden compartment. This means the robes are open to you as soon as you leave Peragus (assuming your character finds them)
Be sure use the "Updated" file! I will leave up 1.0 but be aware it will cause issues with the prologue.

    Important:
This mod must be installed before boarding the Ebon Hawk on Peragus.

    Description:
Simply adds Darth Revans robes (g_a_revan_01 from Indiana_Revan77's "REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL") to the hidden compartment on the Ebon Hawk. I like to think Revan had another set somewhere just in case... Or perhaps the Dark Lord left them behind purposely. We will never know for sure...

This is the only place where I could believably place Revans Robes without leaving a note or something to force it to make sense. Indiana_Revan77's mod allows you to craft them, but I think it's sort of silly to craft something as legendary as Revans Robes from buckets of components at a workbench, so I added a (somewhat) lore friendly place for them

    Requirements:
    https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic-ii/file/revan-s-robes-star-forge-robes-for-tsl <----
    TSLRCM
without these installed, they will not appear at all!!!

    Compatibility:
    TSLRCM: TSLRCM is REQUIRED!

    Install:
    Install TSLRCM.
Install Indiana_Revan77 for REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL. You will have to run the TSL patcher and probably direct it to your Kotor2 install directory.
Extract then merge the the provided Override folder with the one in Knights of the Old Republic II\override
OR just drop the single file "ebcont001.utp" into your Override folder
If you don't have an Override folder you probably didn't install REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL, go back to step 1

    Permissions:
Upload, edit or translate this as you please, if you must, include the requirements and credits, credit for me is not required.

Be sure use the "Updated" file! I will leave up 1.0 but be aware it will cause issues with the prologue.

    Important:
This mod must be installed before boarding the Ebon Hawk on Peragus.

    Description:
Simply adds the Star Forge Robes (g_a_revan_02 from Indiana_Revan77's "REVAN'S ROBES/STAR FORGE ROBES FOR TSL") to the hidden compartment on the Ebon Hawk... I like to think that Revan hid them away for something more stylish. Or perhaps the savior of the Republic left them behind for some other reason. We will never know for sure...

This is the only place where I could believably place the Star Forge Robes without leaving a note or something to force it to make sense. Indiana_Revan77's mod allows you to craft them, but I think it's sort of silly to craft something as legendary as the Star Forge Robes from buckets of components at a workbench, so I added a (somewhat) lore friendly place for them

  16. HD NPC Portraits

    HD NPC Portraits
for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords
    v1.1 - 20201004 - by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user)

This modification adds 30 high resolution (1K) portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints:
Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers.
I did some amount of normalizing the gradients behind the characters. I think Disciple and Mira are the only ones with non-standard background gradients now.
This package includes portrait for HK-50 and HK-51 units. They aren't used in any existing mods I'm aware of; I just put them in because they made sense to have. You can remove them if you wish. The Atris portrait is unused in the vanilla game but may be used by playable Atris mods. I only included it because it existed in the vanilla assets.

    INSTALL / UNINSTALL
To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation.
To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder.

This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for PCs. All 34 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 3 light-dark variants, for a total of 102 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints:

See the included images in preview/ for an idea of how the portraits look.

  18. [TSL] Animated Computer Panel

This mod replaces the static computer panel placeables [PLC_comPanel] that found throughout the game; such as one in the Bumani's, Medical Unit, and Czerka's [on Telos] with the animated ones.

     -= BACKGROUND =-
It was Sith Holocron's request about his least favorite texture in KotOR2/TSL that makes me work on this mod. But as time goes by curiosity on trying to improve it haunts me, by doing more and looking much better -- hence the born of v2.0.0. On this [as well as the previous one] I have him to help on making the panel screen, hence the sweet result of a movie-like looking ones. You should check out his blog from where the inspiration comes --
And then with DarthParametric's handy-hands the panel now have a new symmetrical frame, some 3D buttons, also few TOR-ported bits on the screen. Not stopping there, it now have a new panel board decals -- a copied work from Frank Diorio's downloadable decals [then niubniubsuniverse-dot-com].

    -= ABOUT THIS MOD =-
Inside this mod are 2 version; transparent screen and a solid-non-transparent version.
    Preview:
    Transparent Solid
    Specifics:
New panel frame trimesh made by @DarthParametric New 3D buttons trimesh made by DarthParametric Panel screen bitmap made by @Sith Holocron Panel board bitmap made by Frank Diorio TOR ported animated bits redistributed by DarthParametric Tools mostly worked on to -- KOTORmax [gmax] by bead-v / Aurora MDL [N++] by Symmetric The panel texture currently still in vanilla scheme [based on stock PLC_comPanel], albeit upscaled to x1024 from x256 using PS'.

    -= KNOWN ISSUES =-
With transparent version, some objects will become invisible behind the screen; such as traffics seen from Medical Unit and lightsaber as well with the hilt. There's a workaround for the traffics, but that's beyond the scope of this mod so they're something to live with at the moment. Nothing that I know of though for the lightsabers.

    -= FINAL REMARKS =-
There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod.

Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do!

    -= INSTALLATION =-
Run the installer and choose INSTALL option. Pick one you choose -- then hit the [Install Mod ->] button!

    -= UNINSTALLATION =-
Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu For a clean uninstallation, remove these files from the Override after proceeding with the main procedure -- eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDL eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDX eb_plc_commpane1/2.PWK eb_companel_btns.TPC eb_companel_pnel.TPC eb_companel_wave.TPC sheb_compnl_scrn.TPC
    -= COMPATIBILITY =-
Not compatible with mods that hard-overwrites placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods that alter the modelname and label setup for RowIndex 292 in placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods which happened to have the same name with the MDL, MDX, PWK, and TPC-s that included with this mod
    -= REDISTRIBUTION =-
Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, please be kindly to ask for permission first - that way I know what's up, and if it's interesting enough I might offer to be involved, lol. Or at least we'll talk. Cheers!

  19. Mining Laser Consistency Fix

    -Description-
Some of the mining lasers on Peragus do one less damage than the others, are missing part of their description or use different grammar.
One thing that annoys me about Peragus is that blasters have different stats, with some of them doing one less damage than standard blasters. Based on the storyline, they should probably all do one less damage.
This mod fixes that consistency problem by giving all of the mining lasers a damage penalty of 1, instead of just some of them.
So now single handed mining lasers do 1-7 damage, advanced mining lasers does 1-11 damage, and heavy mining laser does 1-15 damage.
    It also fixes:
Some of the blasters/rifles do not show that they can't be upgraded Inconsistent appunctuation in the "Not Upgradeable" lines -Install-
Drop all files from the Override folder into your game Override folder.
    -Compatibility-
The Heavy Mining Laser was changed so that you'll get the same consistency with TSLRCM as well.
I don't know of any mods using the same files but if there is then it won't work together with that mod. You'll have to choose which mod you want.
    -Bugs-
There shouldn't be any. Let me know if there are.
    -Permissions-
If you want to use it in your own mod, go ahead. You can also change anything else about it you like, distribute it, and give others permission to distribute it. But do give me credit.

  20. Bavakar Implant Fix K2

Bavakar Implant Fix for K2 by Marauder
    -Description-
The Bavakar Strength System does not use the icon it logically should. Strength implants normally use a "standard" icon, so this mod fixes that issue by making the Bavakar Strength System do the same. The screenshots show what's changed, with the grey icon being the new one.
    -Install-
Drop the file from the Override folder into your game Override folder.
    -Compatibility-
Won't work with anything that modifies this file. You will have to choose which mod you want.
    -Bugs-
There shouldn't be any. Let me know if there are.
    -Permissions-
If you want to use this mod as part of your own mod, or distribute it then go ahead. You can also change it however you like and then distribute the resulting mod, and give others whatever permissions you feel appropriate (if any).

  21. Marauder Strict Fix Pack K2

Marauder Strict Fix Pack for KotOR II: TSL
Notice that this is NOT the same as Marauder Fix Pack.
    Version 1.0.0
    -Description-
A collection of my fixes for items that had wrong descriptions or properties.
This differs from my previous Marauder Fix Pack, by not including consistency fixes.
New here is that Droid Anatomy Fix is now included and installed by default after it was updated.
    -Installation-
Uses TSLPatcher. Double-click StrictFixPackK2.exe, confirm your choice and tell the installer where the game path is.
    -Compatibility-
If there is something that would conflict, the installer will not overwrite it.
Don’t use it with K2CP because they already include most (if not all) of my fixes.
Marauder Fix Pack already has these fixes. There’s no need to combine the two.
    -Permissions-
You have permission to alter this mod and redistribute your modified versions. I'm happy for you to repackage it, include it in your own mods, or upload it anywhere you like. I only ask to be mentioned as the original author of the mod.

  22. Marauder Fix Pack

Marauder Fix Pack for KotOR II: TSL
There is a new version 1.0.5, make sure to grab the 1.0.5 version of the zip.
    -Description-
A collection of my fixes to upgrade items that had wrong descriptions or properties. It combines all the fixes I have done for TSL.
    -Fixes (incomplete list)-
Fixed the Mandalorian Chamber Mark III doing 3-17 damage instead of 2-16 as in the description.
Barab Ore Ingot now correctly shows 2-12 fire damage in the description instead of 2-16.
Targetting Scope Mark I was changed to show that it in fact has a slow effect like the others and not a stun effect.
Corrected Ion Cell Mark II to show that it does Ion damage like the others instead of Bludgeoning damage.
Birestorative underlay Mark III (u_a_unde_14) was missing the word "upgradeable." at the end of it's description.
Hurrikaine Crystal description changed to mention the property On Hit: Knockdown DC 18 which was missing before.
Firkrann Crystal changed to show that it does Ion damage vs droids instead of regular Ion damage which was missing before.
    Various whitespace fixes.
Various missing colons after "Massive Criticals".
Fix for Ostrine edge not showing the requirements to use it.
Added missing return carriage for Solari crystal.
Many robes were missing part of their descriptions that mark them as upgradeable.
Droid Anatomy Description Fix is now included in main install
    -Installation-
Just double-click MarauderFixPackK2.exe, confirm your choice then tell the installer where the game path is.
    -Compatibility-
For now this is still not compatible with 90SK's TSL Loot & Immersion Upgrade, but this will probably happen in the next point release.
This mod will not overwrite anything however, meaning you can safely use it and still get some of the fixes whilst using other mods.
    -Copying-
You have permission to alter this mod and redistribute your modified versions. I'm happy for you to repackage it, include it in your own mods, or upload it anywhere you like. I only ask to be mentioned as the original author of the mod.

  23. Robe Description Fixes

Fixes all robes that weren't marked as upgradeable in their description. This should work universally with TSLRCM, M478-EP and Vanilla TSL, but does not yet work with 90SK's TSL Loot & Immersion Upgrade or anything else it would overwrite.
Use it however you want, as usual just throw a mention my way.

  24. Droid Anatomy Library Description Fix

Droid Anatomy Library Fix 1.0.1 for K2 by Marauder
Corrects the Droid Anatomy Library not showing it's +1-10 Energy Damage vs Humans.
All the bonuses from this utility item only apply when unarmed.
This should be interesting for seeing HK-47 rough up some gland-driven meatbags.
    -Install-
Drop d_interface_12.uti into your Override folder.
    -Copying-
Use it however you want, just throw a mention my way.
