  1. Party Model Fixes For K1, Part II

Those of you familiar with Party Model Fixes by redrob41 know it is a cool mod that fixes up some of the game's models for your K1 party members. Cool enough that I figured it was time for a sequel -- we are going to do even more fixing up of our compatriots:
Carth: His unique outfit has a holster which hung by some leather that was missing a texture on one side, rendering it invisible from certain angles. This fixes up that issue, alongside some bonus texture mapping fixes to his opposite pouch and jacket, including the collar fix that redrob41 worked on in their original mod.
Zaalbar: Our wookiee friend had some hairs that went missing depending on the angle, again due to missing textures on the opposite sides of some geometry. This fixes that right up, alongside some other messy texture mapping for some of his fur.
Jolee: Sometimes Jolee likes to just hang out in a swim suit, socks, and... some kind of bizarre ankle brace. I could not tell you what it does, but it is unlikely to be doing its job given that it disappears when viewed from the other side. This fixes up another classic case of one-sided texture syndrome, and makes some small improvements to texture mapping.
Mission: Originally Mission was set to just use adult models when wearing various armors, likely due to time constraints. Therefore, I have made some alternate armor models more suitable for a kid to use. These are just edited versions of the vanilla models, with similar texture mapping, so it is all very vanilla-looking and compatible with any texture mods. This will add the new models to your game and set her appearance.2da row to use them. Her unique models in vanilla are fixed up less noticeably to reflect the changes, and include similar texture mapping fixes to the arms that redrob41 did.
This mod is intended to be installed after redrob41's Party Model Fixes, but does not require it to work. All changes will be applied immediately, and do not require that you start a new game.

    Installation:
Download the included .7z file and extract it anywhere of your choosing on your computer. You can unzip a .7z file with tools such as Archive Utility on MacOs, or by with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. Simply run this installer, directing it to the location of your main game folder with the executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor".
The installer is an .exe file, which Windows can run natively. Mac and Linux users might consider checking out Cortisol's HoloPatcher -- a new tool that is meant as a cross-platform alternative to traditional KotOR mod installers. Alternatively, executable files can be run on Mac or Linux with programs using tools such as Wine. If you are having trouble with either of those options, I have included some instructions for manual installation in the download's "ReadMe" file.
If you happened to have previously installed another mod which placed an appearance.2da file in your override folder, the installer will give you a warning reporting as much upon completion. This is of no concern -- so long as you get no other warnings or errors, the mod is installed correctly and ready-to-go.
The mod will overwrite any conflicting model files (.mdl/.mdx) in your override folder, but not any appearance.2da file it finds there, merely edit the existing one. Be sure to back up anything you want to keep ahead of time. The Included Files list below contains all the files that will be installed to the override folder.

    Uninstallation:
Delete all of the files listed below from your override folder. If you had an appearance.2da file in your override folder prior to installing, you can find a backup version in the mod's "backup" folder, which was automatically created during installation, and place that in your override. If you are unsure whether or not a previous mod had put that file there or not, it is better to make use of the backup.

    Included Files:

    Compatibility:
This mod is fully compatible with any mod which does not replace any of the model files (.mdl/.mdx) listed above. Files that edit appearance.2da are compatible so long as they do not change Mission's armor model cells.
If you intend to install Party Model Fixes by redrob41, I recommend doing so before installing this mod, or what you install here will be overwritten.
Expect compatibility with most any texture/reskin mods -- so long as they do not replace models (.mdl/.mdx files) as well as textures, there should be no conflict.

    Acknowledgments:
Thanks to seedhartha, NdixUR, Symmetric, and Purifier for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I would also like to thank Stoffe and Fair Strides for making inter-mod compatibility infinitely more feasible with TSLPatcher. Shout-out to ConansHair for pointing out that weird bright spot on Zaalbar's rump.

  2. Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs for K1

When dealing with crime lords, beware. Davik Kang's prize ship has a state-of-the-art security system -- it is filled with hulls gaps to suffocate the lungs and texturing errors to boggle the mind. If we want to get the Ebon Hawk flying safely, we ought to patch things up.
The goal of this mod was to provide all of the same fixes provided by Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs For TSL to your K1 game. This mod patches the same issues as Ebon Hawk K1 Fixes 2.0 by ndix UR, as well as many of the others I worked on for TSL.
The latest version includes some big improvements to the alignment of the ship's geometry and animations to the monitor textures it uses. I have included in the download a folder labelled "Animated Monitors"; these files serve provide significantly higher-quality alignments to those using either  "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz. I personally recommend using those texture mods for the monitors, and installing the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override folder after installing the rest. See the Installation section for more details.
If you would like to simply remove the blinking animations entirely, you can find an alternate version of the mod for download in PapaZinos' Alternates to do just that.
    Installation:
Download the 7z file and extract the contents of the "To Override" folder to your game's override folder, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor". 7z files can be extracted with Archive Utility on macOS, or with programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux.
For those using my monitor texture mods of choice, either  "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz, make sure to install the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override. To install, simply copy the files included in the "Animation Fix Edition" subfolder to your override after copying the files from the "To Override" folder. Select "replace" when prompted.
    Uninstallation:
Remove the files in the Included Files list below from your override.
    Included Files:
    Compatibility:
Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. For compatibility with the KotOR 1 Community Patch and Darth Parametric's Taris Escape Sequence Adjustments, simply install this mod after those ones.
Looking to introduce some much-improved ship animations that are made for their textures? Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz have authored both "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" and "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)", both of which do the job well. I recommend using either alongside the files in the "Animated Monitors" subfolder aforementioned in the Installation section.
    Acknowledgments:
I would like to thank Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I also want to give a shout-out to muitafruita for suggesting including the medbay walkmesh fix from TSL to K1 as a way to improve PC spawning.

  3. KotOR 3440x1440 Enhanced HUD/UI and Menus

This mod was created due to the frustration of playing with a small HUD on an ultrawide screen. The mod enhances the HUD/UI and Menus from the KotOR High Resolution Menus mod.
I created an enlarged HUD, that makes playing the game much more enjoyable on a 3440x1440 resolution.
Due to the larger HUD, one needs to use upscaled assets for it to look good. I used a combination of different assets from (KotOR High Resolution Menus, HD MENUS AND UI Assets and Remastered UI)

    Installation
Before installing please make a backup of your own swkotor.exe

You have 2 Options to Install this mod:
1 -     You copy the patched swkotor.exe to the Game Folder, then you copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games Override Folder.
2 -    You patch your swkotor.exe (The Editable version from here) by installing KotOR High Resolution Menus with a 3440x1440 resolution, then copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games
            Override Folder.
    IMPORTANT:
ADJUST the Height and Width under [Graphics Options] in the swkotor.ini file in your games folder or IT WILL NOT WORK!
    It should look like this:
    [Graphics Options]
    Width=3440
    Height=1440
I recommend installing the mod Very Nice! Load Screens for KotOR as well!

    Uninstallation
Remove the files from your Overdrive folder and restore your original swkotor.exe

    Compatibility
This mod works with the K1R mod, but install it after installing K1R

  6. Saving Private Ulgo

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    0.0.1 Release Date: 01.04.2023

    Installation:
Copy & Paste the files inside the "For Override" folder and place them in your swkotor Override folder.

    Description:
This mod is a "Joke Mod" that was made for April Fools day 2023.
What this mod does is that it swaps the head models of Carth Onasi and Trask Ulgo, and that's it. The mod "saves" Trask Ulgo, for a certain point of view, by making it so that Carth is the one who sacrifices himself to Bandon whilst Trask becomes your companion on Taris. This mod ONLY swaps the models around, meaning "Trask Onasi" will still have all of Carth's dialogues and such untouched.

  9. K1 Even EXP

    About
    =====
By default, NPC party members receive 80% of the EXP that is earned by your main character; this means that you have to earn an additional 25% EXP for those party members to reach the same levels. This mod changes it so that they receive 100% of the experience instead.

This is less impactful with default difficulty settings, but helps quite a bit at higher difficulties and also when using mods that raise the required experience to reach certain levels. It will also help your NPCs carry if you're saving levels during Taris.

I also feel this helps immersion a little. I personally dislike the implication that your party members are less capable at improving as you are, especially when multiple of them have backgrounds as seasoned veterans.

I would highly recommend reviewing the Experience article in Strategy Wiki for more context:
    https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Experience

    Installation

  10. K1 EXP Multiplier

    About
    =====
I personally don't like the higher difficulty levels as they only change damage and don't make the game all-around harder. The amount of effort to make every enemy all-around stronger is monumental, so the easier approach would be to make your character all-around weaker. I'm using this with the `normal` difficulty, but you can absolutely combine this with a harder difficulty.

This mod changes the values in `exptable.2da` multiplicatively so that you can change your rate of leveling.
Here's the list of multipliers you can use:
    0.25x
    0.5x
    0.75x
    1.0x
    1.25x
    1.5x
    1.75x
    2.0x
    2.25x
    2.5x
    2.75x
    3.0x

The experience tables for these multipliers can be viewed in `EXP Tables.txt`. As a reference point: 1.0x (default) amount of EXP required to reach level 20 is 190000; if there were no level cap, for level 25 it would be 300000 and for level 30 it would be 435000. The amount of experience required to reach level 20 with 2.0x is 380000; for 1.5x it's 285000 and for 2.5x it's 475000. So reaching level cap in 1.5x would be similar to reaching level 25 in 1.0x and level cap in 2.5x would be similar to reaching level 30 in 1.0x.

It is worth noting that you'll be lower level throughout your run, so your enemies will have a higher challenge rating which will give you more EXP for killing them. Conversely, you'll receive less EXP for computer use and repair as those are multiplied by your current level. I haven't fully tested this, but I anticipate this balance working well in our favor so that the amount of effort to reach level cap scales less aggressively than the multiplier indicates. I'm not sure if I should change the CR tables to compensate for this.

I would highly recommend reviewing the Experience article in Strategy Wiki for more context:
    https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Experience

    Installation
    =========
To install this mod, select and stick an `exptable.2da` file in `Overrides`.

    Compatibility
    ===========
This mod does change the experience level required for level 2 so you will need a mod to avoid the forced leveling on the Endar Spire. I'm personally using this one which is part of Snigaroo's build:

In the future, I might consider fixing level 2 to match the EXP required in 1.0x since it doesn't really change the experience either way.

    Credits
    ======
Lastly I would like to give credit to Zulkain who made a mod that inspired this one. I personally didn't like the approach of +1000 EXP or +2500 EXP per level as that only puts you behind 1 or 2.5 levels, so I went with a multiplicative approach instead.
    Zulkain's mod is here:

    K1 Movie-Style Dark Side Transitions 3.0

    Background:
This is a part of a larger upscale project for a set of mods that was released in the early days of KOTOR modding by the iconic ShemL. Here in 2023, with the abundance of upscale work being done on many of the game's textures, I found some of my favorite mods to be left behind with it's original textures which did not seem to mesh well with modern wide-screen play. I decided to upscale this mod along with some others that I do plan on releasing for public use. All files have been 4x'ed in size with the goal of increasing the quality and pixel density of the images to be more in line with the upscaled texture mods we see today. (Think Ultimate Character Overhaul by ShiningRedHD.) All credit goes to Shem, the previous author for all of the hard work and originality. I will note, I have included two of my own personal edits to one of the male heads. Included in a separate folder. I hope the community enjoys this revival as much as I have. With Shem authorizing the use of his assets in other creations, be on the lookout for other upscaling projects from me in the future. 13. Smuggler's Deluxe [K1]

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 06.03.2023

    Installation:
Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND (This mod is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work)!
It is HIGHLY recommended you install the NPC Diversity Pack mod BEFORE this mod. This mod will change the appearances of over 100 NPCs in Kotor, with Smuggler's Deluxe these two mods together will further enhance the NPCs of Kotor!
Once you're ready to install Smuggler's Deluxe simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.

    Description:
Smuggler NPCs are generic NPCs who wear an iconic jacket, for a better description of a Kotor "smuggler" just picture Tanis Venn and his orange jacket... that jacket model/texture is referred to as "smuggler" in the game files.
In the vanilla game you'll see only 3 Smuggler NPC variants using the White Commoner 01, Black Commoner 01 and Asian Commoner 01 heads.
    What does this mod do?
It adds Smuggler variants for all 14 male generic commoner heads inserting them randomly into the Kotor galaxy! Do be aware that whilst the game files refer to this model/texture as "Smuggler" the NPCs given these new smuggler jackets are not actually smugglers. As far as this mod is concerned these smuggler jackets are simply normal jackets.
As this mod is intended to be an Addon for the NPC Diversity Pack mod, if you use both mods together this mod will further diversify the NPCs you encounter in the Kotor galaxy!

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.

    Incompatibilities:
Incompatible with any mods which modify the textures "N_Smuggler01.tga", "N_Smuggler02.tga" and "N_Smuggler04.tga".
The reason why I modified these 3 textures is because the vanilla Smuggler outfit textures show Caucasian flesh at the hands (creating a bug where black NPCs would have Caucasian hands).
Whilst the K1CP mod attempted to add skin tones for Asian and Black Smugglers, I chose to replace these 'skinned' areas with gloves for the time being.

    Please report any further incompatibilities!

It seems that Shem had some personal edits to clothing that I was very fond of and they were never uploaded but showcased in some of their YouTube videos.
Beyond being unsatisfied by some of the other scout reskins, this inspired me to create my own based on Shem's personal reskin/edits.
I've decided to upload it for others who like me, are looking for something similar to his edits or are interested in switching up the OG scout clothing colors.

    Installation Instructions:
Drag and drop .tga files into override. Overwrite when prompted.
    CREDITS:
    ShemL - For the inspiration
ShiningRedHD - For the upscaled .tga files from their mod (linked below).

  15. Ebon Hawk Revival Reskin Project (Kotor 1)

Description: Ever since I first saw the blurry mess of a texture in the Kotor 2 prologue,
I've dreamt of a way to fix it.
This project thus will consist of two stages,
this first release is for the Ebon Hawk you see in Kotor 1 with a full visual exterior overhaul.
Every panel is completely drawn by hand to ensure the model looks good from every angle with the ultimate goal of using this as the basis for finally fixing the Ebon Hawk during the T3 sequence in Kotor 2. The next step will be the fully battle damaged exterior piece with emphasis on making it finally look decent. I was also informed by a trusted source that the minigame model texture could greatly benefit from this treatment, so that's also in the works.
    Update 1.1
While working on the Kotor 2 version, I noticed there were a few areas that I could improve on with its Kotor 1 counterpart.
The panel work has received a massive overhaul to better match the Vanilla texture including far more detailed colors and a completely redesigned nacelle top.
I've also created a much better version of the engine trench (The metallic texture on the sides that denote exposed mechanical details) which I really felt needed the facelift.
Lastly, per a great suggestion by ConansHair, I've included some window textures to complement the exteriors with permission from Dark Hope's IGM.
This will hopefully be the last big update, but as I continue to work on the Kotor 2 and now the minigame model, I will continue to incorporate any improvements as I make them.

Installation: Inside of the zip file are twelve textures for the Ebon Hawk wherever it is landed as well as twelve window textures with TXIs. To install, simply drag these files into your Override folder, or if you don't happen to have one it must be created. (Default Steam Path is C:\\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\SWKOTOR)

Uninstallation: Take the textures and TXI files included in the ZIP file out of your Override
Permissions: Please let me know if you want to use these textures in one of your mods. I only ask you to credit me for the vast amount of work this ended up being

    Credits:
This would have never seen the light of day without help from my friends on DS.
ConansHair for Beta testing and for continually awesome suggestions like incorporating EnvMaps
and adding features from other Vanilla Hawk textures which vastly improved the overall look.
Sith Holocron for his helpful feedback and the use of his landing platform texture
Dark Hope for letting me use her cockpit textures which have greatly increased the visual style
of the windows and allowed me to customize them per planet.
I would also like to thank Thor110 for letting me use his upscaled Ebon Hawk texture from his modder's resources which more or less also inspired this endeavor.
Kotor1 Saves by djh269 for help while testing (special shoutout for having Force Speed on by default ),
    Fred Tetra for Kotortool,
Adobe for their Photoshop, Bioware for creating Kotor,
and lastly George Lucas for being instrumental in creating this Star Wars universe I continue to enjoy.

  16. WOTOR Plus Patches

    Weapons of the Old Republic
    By
    T7nowhere,svösh,Mono_Giganto

    Released December, 20/ 2006

    About WotOR:
    Section I: Installation Instructions
    Section II: UnInstallation Instructions
    Section III: Possible Mod conflicts
    Section IV: Credits
    Section V: Special thanks
    Section VI: Terms of use

About WotOR: *This mod is intended to be played with a new game, playing it with a current save game may make you miss several cool weapons* The main focus of this mod was to give as many of the interesting NPC's their own unique weapons. This mod adds 22 new models for your eye candy pleasure. All of the weapons are integrated into the game as seamlessly as possible. Many of the models are just straight replacements for the characters original weapons some are completely new. It's your job to find out which are which ;).

I tried to keep the weapons balanced, some may even be a little under powered, but since I don't know which path you take through the game I kept them as close to the weapons that are found in the area. Only a few of the weapons have new stats most are the same was the originals.

    Section I: Installation Instructions
To install this mod simply begin the installation and navigate to your SWKotOR root folder and hit the “ok”  button. The Patcher is set to automatically back up any files that it modifies in your override.

Pay close attention to the install log for warnings and errors. It is very likely that this mod will include the same files that may have been used by other modders.

To install the Patches unzip the 2 files labeled “Upgrades”, and copy/paste to overwrite the files already located in the Override folder.

    Section II: UnInstallation Instructions
To uninstall this mod you will need to delete all the files that belong to WotOR from the Override directory. the easiest way to find all of this mods files is to Copy them from the extracted archive and and paste them into override and overwrite all files, this will select all of the files used by WotOR and allow you to right click one of the highlighted files and choose delete(to delete all the files selected).

Then find the Backup folder the the patcher created and restore the backups of the files that you originally had in Override before installing WotOR.

    Section III: Possible Mod conflicts
The most likely conflicts you will find if any, will be with the .utc(character files). If you do have multiple mods that modify the same utc you will need to combine the files. (I will add the editing of UTC files to the patcher at a later date)
    Section IV: Credits

  17. Darth Revan Visor Fix

    -ABOUT-
So this is something that's bothered me for years. Basically, the UV mapping around Revan's mask is a smidge wonky. The indentation on the mask's mesh indicates the visor part of the texture was meant to line up in it. But for whatever reason, no one decided to correct it during development. The only times I've seen this fixed were in the fan film "Knights and The Darkness Part II" and the mod "Brotherhood of Shadows." So I decided to just go ahead and make a dedicated reskin just to correct this little nitpick. Hope you chuckleheads get some mileage out of it 😆
    -INSTALLATION-
Simply copy/paste the texture files into your Override folder located in your "swkotor" directory.
    -UNINSTALLATION-
Simply locate and remove the files. Go ahead. Do it. I dare you.
    -COMPATIBILITY-
This reskin is not compatible with any mod/texture pack that alters:
    -N_DarthRevan01.tga
    -N_DarthRevan01.txi
    -PERMISSIONS-
You may use this mod for whatever project you want, so long as you credit me.

  18. Sith Stalkers [K1]

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.3.0 Release Date: 25.02.2023

    Installation:
Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
If you intend to play with DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes then you'll have to install that mod BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1].
To install Sith Stalkers [K1], simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.

    Description:
In 2012, on a modding forum not so far away, the modder "reapper" made a mod that added the Sith Stalker Armor from the 2008 video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed".
Not long after this, a modder by the name of "DeadMan" ported reapper's mod to K1. In 2014, another modder named "Constar" made a mod called "proper Sith Assassins" that essentially converted the Sith Assassins in TSL into Sith Stalkers from TFU. In 2017, a modder called "N-DReW25" made a parody of Constar's "Proper Sith Assassins" by replacing the Dark Jedi NPCs with DeadMan's Sith Stalkers.
Now, in 2022, 10 years after reapper's original Sith Stalker release and 5 years after the release of the K1 Proper Sith Assassin's mod, N-DReW25 has reorganized the Proper Sith Assassin's mod into the FIRST GALACTIC- *Cough*- into the Sith Stalkers [K1] mod.
This mod will no longer replace ALL of the Dark Jedi NPCs as the old mod did, instead, you will now find Sith Stalkers alongside the Dark Jedi NPCs across the galaxy in places such as:
    * Tatooine
    * Kashyyyk
    * Manaan
    * Korriban
    * Lehon
    * The Leviathan
    * The Star Forge
The only difference between the Sith Stalker NPCs and the usual Dark Jedi NPCs is that their names are now "Sith Stalker" and their soundsets have been switched to the Sith Soldier soundset. As of version 1.2.0, the Sith Stalkers are exactly the same as their vanilla counterparts in terms of difficulty. Perhaps in future updates I may choose to make the Sith Stalker NPCs a tad harder then the Dark Jedi NPCs.

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.com

    Incompatibilities:
Will be compatible with Dark Jedi mods if you install them BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1].
If your mod modifies the Dark Jedi NPCs modified in my mod, feel free to leave a comment and I will tell you if that mod is compatible or not.
DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes mod, for example, is compatible with my mod as I only replace a small handful of Dark Jedi with Sith Stalkers, thus meaning if you install DP's mod first and mine second then you'll see Dark Jedi in Robes alongside Sith Stalkers.
Report any unknown incompatibilities to me on Deadlystream.com

    Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.

    Special Thanks to:
Reapper: For rigging the Sith Stalker model for TSL.
Shiftee: For making the original Sith Stalker model.
Deadman: For porting the Sith Stalker to K1 and helping with the original TSL mod.
    UberBlack: For creating the texture.
Bioware: For such an amazing game!
    Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool
    Stoffee: For TSLPatcher!
And everyone who downloads the mod.

  19. HK Stats Rework

    Description
By default, HK-47 has 16 points in Strength, and only 10 in Constitution.
This strength stat is almost completely useless, since HK is unable to
wield melee weapons. So I have swapped his Constitution and Strength base stats,
which should (hopefully) make him a bit more viable as a companion.
    Installation
Double-click 'Install [K1] HK Stats Rework' and use the installer as intended.
    Uninstallation
Remove p_hk47.utc from your Override folder.
If TSLPatcher saved a previous version of this file to the backup folder,
copy the version in the backup folder into your Override folder.

  20. K1 MP3 Player

    Description
This mod is based on a K1 mod released by HouseOfAmon in about 2006, and now largely forgotten.
It allows you to play your own music in-game, through a device called Music Player.
Activating this device allows you to play one of 25 tracks of your own,
or to return to playing the game's default music. It will do this via a dialogue menu.
I've made a couple of improvements over the original:
    1) This mod allows you to use 25 tracks, instead of 20;
    2) This mod allows you to reset to the game's default music whenever you want,
using the 'Play local radio' option (n.b.: 'Known Bugs', below).
You can cheat the item into the game using the code 'giveitem di_mp3' without the quotation marks,
or you can get it in game from your footlocker on the Endar Spire.
    Installation
Installation of this mod comes in two parts.
    1) Use the TSLPatcher .exe included to install the base mod
(i.e., double click 'Install TSL MP3 Player', then click 'install mod', etc.)
    2) Adding your tracks to the game:
    i. Select up to 25 tracks that you have on your computer.
These *must* be in MP3 format.
ii. Copy the tracks to a new folder.
iii. Rename these copies Track1.mp3, Track2.mp3 ... etc., up to Track25.mp3
iv. Copy the renamed files to your StreamMusic folder inside the base game folder.
    Uninstallation
    1. Delete the new tracks you added to your StreamMusic folder.
    2. Delete the following files from your Override folder:
    di_mp3.ncs
    di_mp3.uti
    di_mp3p.dlg
    di_mp3p_1.ncs
    di_mp3p_2.ncs
    di_mp3p_3.ncs
    di_mp3p_4.ncs
    di_mp3p_5.ncs
    di_mp3p_6.ncs
    di_mp3p_7.ncs
    di_mp3p_8.ncs
    di_mp3p_9.ncs
    di_mp3p_10.ncs
    di_mp3p_11.ncs
    di_mp3p_12.ncs
    di_mp3p_13.ncs
    di_mp3p_14.ncs
    di_mp3p_15.ncs
    di_mp3p_16.ncs
    di_mp3p_17.ncs
    di_mp3p_18.ncs
    di_mp3p_19.ncs
    di_mp3p_20.ncs
    di_mp3p_21.ncs
    di_mp3p_22.ncs
    di_mp3p_23.ncs
    di_mp3p_24.ncs
    di_mp3p_25.ncs
    di_mp3r.ncs
    k_pend_traskdl40.ncs
    k_petd40_o.ncs
    3. If TSLPatcher created a backup folder during install in the same folder as the tslpatchdata folder,
you can copy the following files backed up there, and use them to overwrite the copies in the Override folder:
    ambientmusic.2da
    globalcat.2da
    spells.2da
However, it is advised that you do NOT do this unless absolutely necessary,
as these files are used in a lot of other mods.
    Known Bugs and Incompatibilities
Pressing the 'Play local radio' button may cause the game to play the default area battle music when you're not in combat.
It should return to the normal mode area music once this finishes playing, though.
This mod alters a (very small) part of the introductory dialogue with Trask on the Endar Spire,
so it may not work with mods which do the same (such as mods allowing you to play as a Jedi from the start).
    Credits and Thanks
HouseOfAmon for the original mod this is based off - it was a great idea!

  21. Black Vulkar Base Engine Lab Bench For Swoop Accelerator

This mod makes a minor alteration to the Engine Lab room of the lower Black Vulkar base level to remove the Swoop Accelerator from the ground and put it on a bench. Said bench is moved from the other side of the room, where normally it impedes clear access to Kandon and his crew if the situation ends in combat. This has the side benefit of (hopefully) reducing pathing issues if the whole party tries to charge into melee combat.
Additionally, several minor aesthetic fixes to the room are included. The cutting tools that normally have a static plasma (?) beam have been given some animation, and a number of pipes that had missing backfaces causing geometry culling issues have had those added. These fixes are also incorporated into the K1 Community Patch as of v1.9, so it is fully compatible with that as long as you install this mod afterwards.
    Installation Instructions
The mod requires a GIT edit to reposition the accelerator (i.e. uses TSLPatcher), so simply run the installer.
    Known Issues
There may some pathing issues if you try to loot the accelerator from certain angles. I've positioned it close to the front edge of the bench to minimise this from the most likely (direct) approach, but coming from the sides of the bench, especially towards the back wall end, may not work as desired.

  23. Ahto Transit Timetable

    Description
This mod adds a small utility item to the game, the Ahto Transit Timetable.
Basically, this allows the player to warp rapidly between the different modules in Ahto City.
It's been given an in-world excuse to exist via a little dialogue and item description.
The item is given to the player after the first cutscene on Manaan, or can be
cheated into the game by typing "giveitem di_att" into the console.
It will appear in the player's inventory, and can be activated from the same place
you activate a stim or a shield.

    Installation
Double click on "Install Ahto Transit Timetable", and hit the "install mod" button.

    Uninstallation
Remove the following files from your Override folder:
    di_att.dlg
    di_att.uti
    di_att_01.ncs
    di_g_att.ncs
    di_man26aa.ncs
    di_man26ab.ncs
    di_man26ac.ncs
    di_man26ad.ncs
    di_man26ae.ncs
You may additionally remove man26_sitharg.dlg, but only if you have installed no other mods affecting this file.
