What Did You Think of Star Wars: Rogue One?: MASSIVE SPOILERS
Sith Holocron replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in Star Wars
OK, I finally saw it. [Movies always come late here.] I unfortunately knew that everyone died because when trying to click off this Rogue One update from the main page, it brought me into the thread. However, I can't say I was surprised. It is a war movie. I also wasn't surprised by lack of scroll or the lack of the traditional Star Wars theme at the start. These one-offs are likely to continue departing from the standard Star Wars series and I think that's all for the better. Leave the scrolls for the main series and let the side movies have a little breathing room. And we all know how picky I can be about the small details. (For example, don't get me started on the wrong font used for the opening scroll in TFA.) Wasn't a huge fan of Felicity Jones - especially the supposedly "inspiring speech" but I wonder how much of that is due to the director. Krennic similarly left me unimpressed but in his case, it was the entirety of the performance. I liked the cameos for Red Leader, Gold Leader, Dr. Cornelius Evazan, and Ponda Baba. The CGI for Tarkin was really distracting. I don't think they had the shape of face right and I think they let the model have too much movement. I was expecting the opposite to happen. Young Princess Leia also seemed off - especially around the eyes. I imagine it'll be something I'll have to look closer at on home video. I think that expecting every little thing to be explained makes a movie suffer. We'll probably never get a full accounting of those "Guardians of the Whills" - nice reference BTW - and I like that. I am curious how the music score would've been if they didn't have the reshoots. (Alexandre Desplat was originally scheduled to do it, not Michael Giacchino. I'm also curious about those reshoots. As I've been doing by best to avoid the coverage of Rogue One, did they go into any detail about why the reshoots were necessary? I thought that ship seemed to nail the Star Destroyer OK. Sith Holocron replied to milestails's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
If you want to talk about the TSLRCM trailer, use the TSLRCM forum. Want to talk about the M4-78 EP trailer, use the M4-78 EP sub-forum. Further discussion of the trailers in this thread will be deleted. -

TSLRCM Compatibility Patch for jinger's Admiralty Mod
Sith Holocron replied to Darth Hayze's topic in Mod Releases
"Jinger" is known here as "Kreia". Why not PM him about making the original mod work? -
And post it in the TSLRCM section, not here.

How to extract the kotor 2 player heads?
Sith Holocron replied to thetruerevan75's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
You won't. -
Who's next on the character change list? I vote for G0-T0. I think that - besides making him shiny - that animating some of the lights on him could be worth looking into.

Tatooine and the Ebon Hawk - Same Music
Sith Holocron replied to milestails's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
You leave in the track that is duplicated in the two areas. The other track is one that the user provides. Technically, the modder could provide neither track to allow full customization of what sound goes where. All that really is needed is the fix to separate the area from playing the same track and then user can decide what should play where. The fix and detailed instructions are all that the mod really requires. The user can find the tracks they want by either converting the tracks through traditional means, grabbing it off of YouTube, or substituting any track. This enables users to - for example - put in a SWTOR track or another piece of music for one or both of the areas if they were so inclined. -
Tatooine and the Ebon Hawk - Same Music
Sith Holocron replied to milestails's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
That would be porting - putting KotOR2 music into KotOR1. Hence the reason the way I phrased it in my last post. -
Tatooine and the Ebon Hawk - Same Music

Suggestion: Make the mod including the track that's reused. Have instructions explaining how one can choose the included track to be either the Ebon Hawk's track or Anchorhead's track. Then explain to the user in the simplest possible terms how they can import a track in MP3 format to be used in the section that needs music. That way, the user provides the track themselves and copyright is no longer an issue. -
The spelling appears to be correct.

Here's the place to report bugs, errors with other mods, etc when using M4-78 EP. (If you wish to leave a comment about the M4-78 EP that doesn't concern bugs or errors, leave those on the Impressions thread here.) While there are currently no plans to update M4-78EP any further, if any game breaking bugs are found they obviously will be fixed (and maybe other tiny ones with them), if at all possible. So please don't assume it's automatically a useless thing to report stuff here. NOTE: Only report issues here if you use the latest version of M4-78! If you don't have version 1.5, please update to the latest version of the M4-78 Enhancement Project as that very well might resolve your issue. (Read the current version's read me to see if that may be the case.) When reporting bugs . . . use the following format and include both the questions and the answers to them. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? (List a general description of the issue.) 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (We are only covering issues concerning version 1.3 - the latest edition.) 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, or the KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (Update is required for 4-CD version only. If using a Steam, KOTOR Collection, or GOG version, put down "N/A") 5) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? 6) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? 7) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) 8 ) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? (List a detailed description of the issue.) 9) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? 10) Have you tried using a different save game? 11) Have you tried starting a new game? 12) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) If you're a Mac user, please note that here as well. Update: Here are a few extra questions to include as well. All posts (after the one following this one) should include all 16 questions and your answers to them. 13) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? 14) What language is your game set for? 15) Which language of TSLRCM are you using? 16) Are you playing this on a laptop or a desktop computer?

It's a brand new Impressions thread for the most current version number of M4-78 Enhancement Project! We want to know what you think about the new version of the mod. So once you've played a complete game using the most current version of TSLRCM with the M4-78 Enhancement Project all the way to the end credits, please stop back here and leave some feedback. Details are important so we certainly hope you'll provide with some in depth feedback. A note on spoilers: It is important for spoilers to actually have spoiler tags. Here are easy instructions how to do so. - Start with "[spoiler@]" without the quotes and the @ symbol. - Enter the portion of your message that needs spoiler tags. - End that portion to be hidden with "[/spoiler@]" - also without the quotes and the @ symbol. A reminder: Update 19FEB2019: Impressions should only be left here for the current version. (That's version 1.5.) As only this initial post was changed so far, you may see references to earlier versions in this Impressions thread. Would you kindly . . . indicated that you're using the most current version (currently 1.5) from this point forward by mentioning it in your post from now on? Much obliged! If you wish to report an actual bug or error instead of a more general comment on the mod, please do so in the Bug / Error thread right here.

I rather like the old one. However, I think tinting the Bioware logo to blue would better match the menu screens for KotOR1. Even more importantly, fix the following spelling issues. Update: Already sent VP the text as it appears on the screens for KOTOR and for TSL. (Different info is on each screen.)
