A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Authors: N-DReW25 and Sith Holocron 1.0.0 Release Date: 18.08.2017 1.1.0 Release Date: 31.08.2021 Description: If you’ve played M4-78EP before, you might be surprised that the Skybox textures you see in that mod are NOT the intended Skybox that Obsidian sought to use for M4-78. The original M4-78, as designed by Obsidian Entertainment, used the left-over skyboxes of the cut planet Sleheyron from the 1st game and altered these skyboxes to use be used on M4-78. These original skybox for M4-78, as intended by Obsidian, was briefly seen in Kotor 2's E3 trailer. In 2008, Quanon created a new skybox for Stoney’s original M4-78 mod. These skyboxes had higher quality buildings, a darker wine-brown sky and visible green radiation. The Skybox you see in M4-78EP today was created by Stoney himself, these skyboxes have the background of a light orange sky with tall buildings. This is the skybox you see in the most up to date version of M4-78EP. Installation: First, make sure you have M4-78EP 1.5 installed for the best playing experience! Follow the instructions on the M4-78EP download page to install M4-78EP. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/277-m4-78-enhancement-project/ Warning: It is advised that you do NOT use the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM or M4-78EP due to compatibility issues with other mods. If you do choose to use the Steam Workshop, you will need to install this mod into your Steam Workshop Override folder instead! If you are using Sith Holocron's "Replacement Loading Screens for KotOR2: Add-On Pack (with or without TSLRCM) 1.3" mod, be sure to install this mod last! Once you have M4-78EP installed, you will have 3 different skyboxes to choose from (you can only use 1 skybox at a time!). Option 1: Stoney's M4-78 Version - by Quanon: 1) Open the “Stoney Version (by Quanon)” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Option 2: Obsidian Version - by Obsidian Entertainment: 1) Open the “Obsidian Version” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Option 3: Sleheyron Version - by Bioware, roof texture by Sith Holocron: 1) Open the “Sleheyron Version” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Uninstallation: To uninstall this version and restore the original M4-78EP skyboxes, simply copy the contents of the BACKUP folder into your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder. Warning: If you simply delete the Skybox and Loading Screen files from your Override without copying the BACKUP files you will have no loading screens for M4-78 and the Obsidian Skyboxes by default. Known Bugs: The droid testing facility loading screen does not appear, this is a core problem with M4-78EP 1.5 content and not this mod. Once a fix for M4-78EP 1.5 has been made, this bug will be fixed (This is outside of my control though). If you encounter any bugs, just report to N-DReW25 via PM on Deadlystream.com Incompatibilities: This mod is compatible with Kexikus’ High Quality Skybox mod for TSL and any other mod which replaces the skybox for M4-78 EP. This doesn’t include textures that change the skybox as viewed from inside the Ebon Hawk. Recommended Mods!: Permissions: · Do NOT claim credit for this mod, as that would exceedingly rude. · Do NOT upload this mod to any other website without the permission of N-DReW25 · If you want to use Stoney’s M4-78 Skybox in your own mod, please contact the original author, Quanon, for permission. Special Thanks: · Obsidian for not deleting all of M4-78. · Bioware for not deleting Sleheyron’s Skybox · Stoney for making the original M4-78 mod. · Quanon for making the skyboxes for the original M4-78 mod and for his permission to include them here. · Zybl2 and Hassat Hunter for their work on M4-78EP. · Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool · Sith Holocron for the new loading screens · Everyone who downloads the mod. (Please leave feedback!) Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. Some of them from the website have patchers they just look like they were made a windows 95 (No joke I installed one of them on my Windows 10 PC and it had a Windows 95 style border around it) but perhaps giving them newer patchers across all of his mods will help. If you can get permission from Chainz.2da you should make a balance patch that reduces the OP stats of some of the items in his mods and the NPC's in the Ord Mantell Mod. In one of his mods, you can literally obtain a set of armor that has a defense bonus of 19 on the Endar Spire! And the NPC's in Ord Mantell are no better if you had no other mod besides Ord Mantell, be level 20 and have found all the star maps and you decide to fight some of the NPC's in the mod you will learn you'll die as soon as you unpause the game to actually begin fighting the NPC's.

Blog #61 - I need a tutorial for a G0-T0 voice filter
N-DReW25 commented on Sith Holocron's blog entry in Sith Holocron's Blog
If you're referring to the Goto Bounty Hunter lines meeting I would say that they are using a completely different lower quality filter. I also have another unfiltered line called "602akkere006.wav". If you'd like to test your filters on the Goto's GenoHaradan lines that would be very welcomed. -

Blog #61 - I need a tutorial for a G0-T0 voice filter
N-DReW25 commented on Sith Holocron's blog entry in Sith Holocron's Blog
I wasn't requesting any specific line I was just saying you could pick a filtered line perhaps the "I am goto, one of the officials representing trading in both the y'tube system and non sanctioned space" line then after you play that one in a video play yourself saying that line unfiltered then after that play the same line again with the filters. I believe you have done something similar when you were picking the filter for the M4-78 Archon. An unaltered Goto line I know of is "502bounty1011.wav" found in 502 of the stream voices folder. -

Filter test #1 sounds more like Goto. Do you reckon you could say one of goto's original lines and apply a Goto filter to them to see if you sound similar to Goto by any chance? -
Thank you, this will definitely be helpful in the future. This should have stayed in the game. It would have removed so much of the confusion for this scene.

They don't have to be human VO's the NPC's who speak can be a different species like Twi'lek, Deveronian etc.
-
While I am not making this mod NPC's who could be voice acted include the retreating TSF Officer, The Kolto tank Mercenary, and the Mandalorians who captured Tobin. Perhaps the puzzle could be the way to unlock the energy shield and the Merc and be revived to give you a hint on how to solve the puzzle. The point of having Mandalore fight Nihilus is because of the line "What are you doing up there we need to get off this ship" that one line proves Mandalore at some point was never intended to actually be up on the bridge. I don't really mind how Mandalore doesn't go on the bridge as long as it happens. A shame, and thanks for your honest opinion.
-
Now we're making sense. I think that would be a bit to difficult to implement so I don't blame them for not adding it. If you read above Colonel Tobin in my idea survives and is either taken by the Republic and Talia's Soldiers as a prisoner or is reunited with Vaklu's troops and returns to Onderon. Ravager Rewrite- http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/441/?tab=3&selected_game=198&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fkotor2%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D441%26user%3D1%26gid%3D198&pUp=1 If you like you can send me a PM of how you'd deal with Bao Dur however I at this point feel like this idea would be an easy and fun way to end Bao Dur as it adds new content, It overhauls the battle of Telos and it fixes up alot of plot holes in this section of the game.
-
Whoops, my mistake.
-
I had this crazy idea for a mod that restores Bao Dur's sacrifice into the game giving a much-needed ending and resolution for Bao Dur's character. I know there is a mod called Bao Dur's Endgame Enchantment in development but it's been a long time without any updates and I am positive the lead modder has quit. This idea isn't a mod I am working on right now this is simply my idea for a mod someone else may want to make. When the Exile finds all the Jedi Masters and returns to Dantooine two ships will be planted outside the enclave one being a G-Wing escape ship (Zez Kai Ell's Ship) and a Shuttle (Kavar's Ship). After the Jedi Masters sequence when you go outside the shuttle is gone, that is because of Kreia and Atton/Handmaiden, if they left with her, stole it and took it to Telos (This ship can also be placed outside Traya's Academy to show where Kreia landed it when she arrived). When the player leaves Dantooine they will land on Citadel Station and go to Chodo Habat or Jana Lorso depending on which side you chose before and request for a shuttle to the planet's surface as the Ebon Hawk isn't legally allowed to the planet's surface. Suddenly when you reenter the Entertainment Module the Ravager arrives and begins its assault. After talking to a retreating TSF Officer you using the comlink call Atton to lead the entire party to the Ithorian HQ regardless of who you chose at the beginning of the game. Once their Lieutenant Grenn will be waiting for you and will brief you. Once there you will send Visas, Mandalore and Bao Dur onto the Ravager while HK-47 goes to the HK Factory to shut it down and the player will have to go deal With Atris. Mandalore, Visas, and Mandalore will vanish into stealth and supposedly stealth to a shuttle to go to the Ravager. HK-47 and Exile will then go through Citadel Station doing the usual stopping the Sith from shutting down the fuel cells etc, however, a new bit of content we could add for Dark Side players have Jana Lorso and two CSD try to fight their way to the shuttle module in the Entertainment Module only to be killed be Sith in a cutscene. Once arrived at either a Czerka or Ithorian Hangar with the receptionist gone the player has to splice into the receptionist computers to try to open the hangar door. The exile will fly the shuttle outside the underground facility (Because the hangar doors are closed) where the Czerka Mercenaries have reset up shop outside the base and will attack. After killing them all the player will realize the Mercenaries installed an Energy Shield outside the entrance to prevent Military Droids from escaping. They then discover a Mercenary inside a Kolto Tank, the Exile can either use the force, use a Medpac or use their treat injury skills to heal the merc. The player then can persuade this mercenary either through normal persuade/ threats or force persuade to get him to tell him the access code to the Energy Shield door -after you get the code through either of these options, you have an option to either kill him or leave him outside as HK-47 enters the facility. Exile will leave in the shuttle to go to Atris. After this HK-47's HK Factory part is exactly the same as TSLRCM's. If your character is a female and has disciple the Handmaidens will battle the player including Brianna in the council chamber room. After defeating them or stunning them the player can go into the Holocron room to fight Atris, if you're male it will go out exactly the same as TSLRCM except your character doesn't start inside the hangar where the Ebon Hawk is because the Hawk is on Citadel. After defeating Atris you can either kill her, leave her or redeem her. Back on the Ravager, everything goes out normally except Mandalore is the lead of the party, not Exile. This is because Kelborn when contacting you over the com always refers to you as "Mandalore" even though you're not Mandalore. Everything goes out normally fighting Sith and planting bombs (Which should be actual items you receive at the start and lose when you place them in the target zones) on the ship except Colonel Tobin is nowhere to be found and the door to the bridge is locked. Additionally, the exit off the ship should be at the end of that long hallway Mandalore walks in at the start and the small room which is the exit in Vanilla where the Mandalorians blow out of to get into the Sith Soldier room should be remodelled to have a locked door that should make it appear the Mandalorians came from the Hangar with Mandalore but took an alternative route to clear the way for Mandalore. Also, there should be Mandalorians in one-half of the ship fighting Sith Soldiers so Kelborn is actually telling the truth about fierce resistance and all the other things he says over the com. When you plant all the bombs Kelborn will tell you one of the bombs exploded prematurely Mandalore has to find or make another bomb. They find that torpedo room that can serve as a replacement bomb if someone can manually detonate it meaning someone has to stay behind and go down with the Ravager. This will be Bao Dur who volunteers to do it, perhaps here Mandalore can say "Your death will be worthy of a Mandalorian" to which Bao replied "I could use without your Mandalorian Honour. Make my sacrifice Matter". Visas and Mandalore leave the room and the door locks with Bao Dur inside. Then they will walk to the locked bridge door to see Tobin run out and go into stealth disappearing before they can talk. Once they arrive at the elevator they find it needs a pass card before it can be used so Visas and Mandalore go to Visas' chamber where Mandalore will pick up the pass card from her locker but Visas will stay behind and meditate forcing Mandalore to leave her behind and go alone. Mandalore will fight through the last Sith on the bridge and confront Nihlus. He will shoot at Nihilus (Gun will be given to him automatically if none is present) getting all his shots deflected away. Nihilus will then use a Lightning and Drain combo on Mandalore flinging him to the end of the bridge where Mandalore will limp out of the room. Exile will arrive on the Ravager and make his way to the big open room where Mandalorians will tell the Exile they captured a prisoner who is conveniently Tobin. Tobin will say his lines and if you let him live will give you a pass card to the elevator but if you kill him you loot the card off his remains, The Mandalorians will support either choice. Everything with Nihilus will play out exactly just without Mandalore. Once Nihilus is defeated a loud troubling noise can be heard and Mandalore will com the player and ask "What are you doing up there, we need to get off this ship" because without it's master keeping it together it's falling apart. Exile and Visas (If she's alive) will make their way to the exit and the Ravager will blow up with Bao Dur still on it, killing him. Since the Exile doesn't know what happened to Bao Dur he/she still asks about him to Traya and Traya will say he cannot sense his fate because he is dead. Once on Citadel if Tobin is spared will be on Citadel and will walk past the Exile during the cutscene when Grenn tells the exile Carth wants to speak with him. Tobin if the player supported Talia will be unarmed and still in his Armor lead by Republic and Talia Soldiers presumably being sent off to Jail for treason but if the player supported Vaklu Tobin will be wearing his Onderon Officer clothing being escorted by Vaklu troops heading back to Onderon. Whether or not he still has his Dark Side appearance is up to the modder. That it is that's my Bao Dur idea that I will likely not make for a long time. I am sorry if the above doesn't make sense I feel like it could sound strange at certain parts. This could perhaps also link up with Reztea's Recruit Atris Mod where perhaps Exile and Atris arrive on the Ravager together and the Nihilus fight is between Exile, Visas, and Atris. If someone would like to make my idea a reality there more than welcomed to do so as long as I'm properly credited for the idea and I am fully aware of what's going on. If you like my idea please be sure to tell me what your favourite part of it is and what I could improve especially if I've plot hole.

I wouldn't call them "lesser performance" I think there pretty good voices however the original has more of a "douchey thug" tone to them which is probably what makes them better.

Evidence of Juhani being a Lesbian from KotOR's Game Files
N-DReW25 commented on Leilukin's blog entry in Leilukin's Blog
It has nothing to do with her story for me it's very well written except how she doesn't explain how even made her way to the Jedi after being freed by Revan (That's something I'd actually like to know). The full blame for her hate (At least from me) comes from her accent and character model. If Bioware turned Juhani into an Echani (Or any other alien species that appear more "human" and I don't mean over sexualize her appearance) and made her voice sound more like Bastila's but kept the story and everything else exactly the same I bet she wouldn't have as much hate. It's a mod, we don't need canon. Handmaiden isn't a Lesbian in canon but currently 473 people don't care and have downloaded your mod. In my opinion Party Swap motivates me to play as a female because I avoid the female character play through all thanks to Disciple who is just a flat out boring character unlike Handmaiden and your Handmaiden and Female Exile romance mod greatly improves the dialogue for Handmaiden with that mod installed. The reason why a male romance would motivate me to talk to Juhani is I'd like to talk to her for a purpose: With Bastila, I find her just as bad as Juhani when it comes to Dialogue but I still talk to her for the romance which I rarely ever see because I'm too busy playing the game and not talking to Bastila but I still talk to her because of the romance in hopes I can see that kiss scene. I also use the "Bi Carth" mod that makes the female romance appear for male characters, the reason I use this is because I actually like it when Carth is loving towards the player and not just yelling at me for talking to him, I am not gay in real life but when Carth yells at me from the start until the end of the game it kinda makes me want to make a mod that allows the player to chase after Carth on the unknown world just to kill him. The only downside to that mod is Carth still calls me "Woman" and "Sister" which I actually wouldn't mind if you could make your own version of the mod which I will probably download and use often. I've already played the games many times over and I usually skip every dialogue because I know exactly what they are saying. Some party members I actually like to listen to as most of the time their stories because the tones, accents and the acting are top quality and are interesting even if you have heard it a hundred times over. some good examples are Mission, Canderous, Carth and HK-47 even though these stories do not have a real impact on the story meaning if I don't listen to them it doesn't matter in the end. Juhani's story while is great and a lot better than Bastila's story but her weird alien voice over ruins it completely and makes me skip her lines completely with the only motivation of going on with her is the Xor encounter. On the bright side I actually do her story unlike Jolee who rots in the medical hold until the ending credits. I would definitely spare her in a vanilla play through and have her in my party but with a mod as good as Recruitable Kay I cannot resist but to take that option. Kay while she isn't romanceable by any means she is still a good character. While her life story isn't as tragic as Juhani's it still is enough for me to like it, in a certain point of view she's a Luke Skywalker how he lived an ordinary life as a farmer then is thrown into a life under the rebellion. Kay is an ordinary Jedi who joins your character and is thrown into a mission that can determine the fate of the Galaxy. Kay also (once you complete her sidequest) can recieve a unique Lightsaber and a red Jedi robe with custom stats. At some point, I will likely record videos of Kay similar to what you've done with Juhani (Which I highly approve of as your series of videos are very informative about Juhani) to visually show why I prefer Kay over Juhani. I can understand that however I highly doubt someone will go out of their way to make a mod simply out of homophobia. I am sorry if I insulted you, that was never the intent. I thought "Homosexual" was the complex term for "gays" not an insult and I'm not trying to be funny here. Also isn't the word "Gay" the word used for males and "Lesbian" the word used for females? If I am wrong can you please correct me. In short, I do not hate Juhani for being a Lesbian I hate her alien voice and I dislike her head model. The only reason I would kill her is for Recruitment mods that replace Juhani I would not kill her in a vanilla playthrough by any means. I think her story and writing is fantastic but it's all ruined by her horrendous VO and since I've never played a heavily modded playthrough as a female I've never actually experienced the Juhani love story. I am sorry if I offended anyone but that's my general opinion on Juhani at least from a male playthrough perspective. I also would like to say I'm sorry if this makes no sense either. If there is ever a mod that revoices all of her lines to sound more human and maybe replace her head similar to Shem's Juhani's new look mod I would likely use it and it could even change my perspective of Juhani. -
Blood of Malevolence from USM Texture
N-DReW25 replied to Todd Hellid's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Is this a Lightsaber that was dropped off an NPC or was it crafted by a party member when they became a Jedi?
