Med Scanner / Droid Diagnostic
This is a mod for Knights of the Old Republic*. It adds two items to the game: a Med Scanner and Droid Diagnostic. While they both do the same thing, the droid diagnostic is only for droids, and the med scanner is only for organic meatbags-- errr, I mean people. When the item is used, it will display how many vitality points the character is down. It will also display how many points would be restored by various means available to the character. This is, of course, based on the character's current stats. The info will be in your Feedback log.
* I don't have The Sith Lords & have no idea if this mod would work in it.
Also, while I believe this is compatible with K1R, I'm not absolutely certain of it (I have K1R installed & have had no issues between it & my mod).

Description:
You've probably seen The Force Awakens at this point, and Kylo Ren's unique lightsaber as well. The saber features crossguard blades that serve a defensive purpose as well as venting extra heat. Now, you can play through Knights of the Old Republic wielding crossguard lightsabers as your own! This mod adds crossguard lightsabers complete with animations, plus Kylo Ren's lightsaber, to Knights of the Old Republic.
Each of the regular crossguard lightsabers is completely upgradeable. Kylo Ren's lightsaber is not upgradeable, but features animated blade textures to give it the unstable plasma look as seen the The Force Awakens.
Use:
Due to the unique way that Knights of the Old Republic handles lightsabers, to make the lightsabers upgradeable, this mod adds an emitter item which can be bonded with any of the default lightsaber color crystals in the game. Once you have an emitter and a lightsaber color crystal, talk to T3 who can bond them together to give you the new crystal bonded to the emitter. Simply install the new bonded crystal in a single-bladed regular lightsaber, and you now have a Crossguard Lightsaber! The bonded crystals can also be used in double-bladed or short lightsabers, however, they will still be the default double-bladed and short bladed lightsabers. If you want to remove a crystal from an emitter, talk to T3 once more and he will separate the two item.
You can get crossguard lightsabers in the following locations:
Dantooine: Blue crossguard lightsaber on Nemo's body
Kashyyyk: Jolee now comes equipped with a violet crossguard lightsaber
Korriban: Sith lightsaber located in Naga Sadow's tomb has been changed to Kylo Ren's lightsaber, emitter in Marka Ragnos's tomb
Tatooine: Emitter in Kraayt Dragon cave
Unknown World: Emitter on The One's body
Yavin Station: Suvam Tam will sell you 2 emitters (1 in each of his 2nd and 3rd inventory iterations, available after Leviathan)

INCOMPATIBILITY:
DUE TO THE UNIQUE WAY THAT THIS MOD IS SET UP, IT IS LIKELY INCOMPATIBLE WITH MODS THAT HAVE A UPCRYSTALS.2DA OR MODIFY UPCRYSTALS.2DA. THIS MEANS THAT MOST LIGHTSABER MODS WILL BE INCOMPATIBLE. IF YOU USE THIS MOD AND OTHER LIGHTSABER MODS AND HAVE PROBLEMS, UNINSTALL BOTH MODS AND REINSTALL THIS MOD.
Bugs:
Due to limitations with current KotOR modding tools, there are a few very minor issues with this mod. The largest issue is that when you enter any module, the crossguard lightsabers will be extended and will not retract after any period of time. If you hit the "flourish" key or unequip and re-equip the crossguard lightsabers, the saber will retract normally until you enter another module. I cannot fix this bug, it is caused by incomplete code in the tools that we have and I do not have the expertise to edit the tool.

Juhani Romance Enhancement

As you might know or not, there is a romance with Juhani available for female characters in K1. The problem with that is, that it has no real closure and what little it has, is easily skipped in the heat of the final part of the game. This mod aims to fix that by doing two things: First of all, the final conversation is now triggered automatically if available in order not to get lost. Secondly, it now includes a kiss, similar to the one in the Bastila Romance Enhancement (actually, I used the same animations).

Installation:
Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
For modders: I included the source scripts in the download in case you're interested. Ignore them if you only want to install and play the mod.
Uninstallation:
Delete jre_dialog.dlg, jre_intro.ncs, jre_kiss.ncs, jre_trigger.ncs and jre_trigger.utt from your Override folder. Then find the backup of unk_m44ac.mod created during the installation of this mod (it is located in the backup folder that was created in the folder where you ran TSLPatcher.exe) and copy it into the Modules folder of your KotOR installation, replacing the one already there. Note however, that this might screw up other mods that modified the same file and were installed afterwards!
Compabilitiy:
Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible pretty much everything. (The only incompability I can think of would be another mods that adds cameras with the same IDs but that's pretty unlikely.)

It features damage and defense bonuses, but is not upgradeable at this time. I plan to expand this mod to make the saber upgradeable and to add a more unique blade texture.
To get the lightsaber, you can find it when you defeat the Sith Master on Manaan, who will also wield it. Alternatively, you can get it by entering the cheat code: giveitem g_w_kylosaber

2. When Luo talks about the Force, tell him that "I think you misunderstand the Force..."
3. Choose the 4th option, should be the last one that is quite lengthy
4. Select "I will train you in the ways of the force"
DS:
1. After killing the Elders, go back to the Black Rakata Base and speak to Luo, who will congratulate you.
2. Going through the main dialogue options, you should get to where he asks to be trained.
3. There should be a new dialogue option that you can choose in which you say that you will train him.
4. choose for him to take either Bastila's or HK's slot.

- Luo starts out as a Level 1 Jedi Guardian, but he has some good force powers.
I would recommend trying to keep him as conservative as possible.
- In LS recruitment, Luo takes the place of Bastila, who's slot is empty until the end of the game.
- Luo's force powers come from his feet
- In the select screen, his rightside portrait is blank and white
- Luo's appearance does not change when he changes clothes
- This is mainly just a simple mod that attempts to replicate what Darth-Me did way back when

Tatooine Merchant and Quest

Description:
This is the first mod I've ever made - hooray!
This is a simple mod which will add in a new merchant to Tatooine and give him a small sidequest. He'll be in the first module of Tatooine (on the wall on the side closest to the door), and for the mod to work it is required you have
never been to Tatooine before.
The enemies you may face are quite strong, by the way.
Oh, and there's also some new poorly skinned robes. They were mainly a test if I could add a new item, and I thought I should at least *try* to make a new skin. Gotta start somewhere though, right?
Installation:
Put all of the files in to the Override folder.
Uninstallation:
Remove the files.
Compatability:
You'll need the JRL Merger for this mod to be compatible with other mods if there is already a global.jrl in your override. This mod also won't be compatible with any mod which alters the dialogue when you first arrive on Tatooine or when
you arrive at the Czerka Offices.

Force Powers Unchained

This is a simple mod that "unchains" Force Push/Wave/Whirlwind and Shock/Lightning/Storm; in other words, you don't have to obtain the lower powers (such as Force Push) to learn the higher powers in the chain (such as Force Whirlwind). I haven't tested this with any other mods, but should be compatible with most all of them.

The animations have been a painful process, as I had to animate frame by frame. For your convienence, I also included a disguise for Revan.

DESCRIPTION: This mod gives Canderous some personal Mandalorian items. I thought that he should have something of his own besides a heavy repeater, so I added them. I created a Mandalorian helmet, which bears some resemblance to Mandalore's helmet from TSL, but is not intended to be an exact replica. Also, I modeled a chain gun for him. It is very large, and has three barrels which do rotate in-game. It has decent stats, but a dexterity penalty because of the weight of it. The chain gun is upgradeable, except for a scope which wouldn't do much good on such a weapon. In addition, I reskinned an armor variant in similar colors to the helmet. It is upgradeable as well. Lastly, I gave him all three implant feats (since he is supposed to have special implants) and gave him his very own Mandalorian implant. You will see Canderous on Taris all dressed in his new stuff, with the exception of the undercity (he doesn't have his helmet on there). He is equipped with the items when you gain him into your party at Davik's Estate.

Enhanced Sith Saber (English & German)

This mod will replace the Sith Lightsaber you find on Korriban with a fully upgradable, uniquely skinned Sith Lightsaber with special properties. For this to work, you must not disturb the Sith Statue. Otherwise,you must start a new game.
The original mod "Enhanced Sith Saber v. 1.0" belongs to Shimaon, but he quit modding for KotOR (at least until KotOR II) and gave me permission to continue his work. So here it is.
I never used K1R, so I actually don't know if this mod is compatible with it or not. Just to be safe, I say no, until it's confirmed otherwise by someone.
Thanks to milestails who asked me these days to upload my old Mekel Recruitment mod here. I wasn't aware that someone would still be interested in this old mod. I decided to upload all my mods here, in both language versions, so that they can be enjoyed fo another couple of years or so.

This mod is available in English (mekel_recruit_v.1.1.zip) and German (german_mekel_recruit_v.1.6.zip).
I've also included the patch for cjt0202's Carth Romance Fix (also available in English and German).
I've never used K1R so I actually don't know if this mod is compatible with it. So just to be safe, I say no, until it's confirmed otherwise by someone.
Thanks to milestails who asked me these days to upload this old mod of mine. I wasn't aware someone could be still interested in it. Because of his nice e-mail I decided to upload all my mods here, in both language versions, so they can be enjoyed for some more years to come.

Dantooine Training Lightsabers

This mod replaces the longswords used during the training sequence with lightsabers, as it is seen in the movies that even younglings train with those.
The mod uses no scripts and you don't have to give yourself the lightsaber proficiency feat with KSE or something similar. Additionally you won't have the annoying humming sound present when simply replacing the training saber with a lightsaber.
Installation:
Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
Uninstallation:
Delete dan13_practice.uti from your Override folder. Then copy baseitems.2da from the backup folder created while installing this mod to your Override and replace the one that is already there. Skip this step if you installed any mods that also alter baseitems.2da after this one. This mod will not be fully uninstalled in that case but every effect it has on the game will be gone as intended. If there is no baseitems.2da in your backup folder, simply delete the one in your Override folder (unless you installed another mod editing it later).

Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible with everything that does not edit the training saber (dan13_practice.uti)

description: For those of you who remember Star Wars pre-prequel, you might remember the old
Dark Horse comics series 'Tales of the Jedi'. From this series one of my favorite characters
was Sylvar, the Cathar. So when I found out that KOTOR had a Cathar I was psyched. Of course
then I actually saw Juhani and I was quite dissapointed to find that she looked nothing like a
Cathar should. She didn't even have any hair! This mod gives Juhani an actual cat like
appearance (based more off of the 'Redemption' arc than the older ones) with a different nose, bigger ears, and a squatter, but (in my opinion) cuter face.
I've also retextured her head so it looks a little bit nicer.
installation: Extract contents of the zip file. Place the .mdl, .mdx, and .tga files into override (x:Program Files\LucasArts\SWKOTOR by default). Start KOTOR! How easy is that?!
uninstallation (is that a word?): delete the .mdl, .mdx, and .tga files from the override.
notes: This is my first ever mod and I would like to think that there are no problems with it. However, computers are computers and I'm sure someone will have a problem. If this is the case please email me and I'll look into figuring out the problem. However, since this is my first mod I don't really know what else I can do as my skills are all but nill. So, try redownloading and reinstalling and see if that works. Good luck, and have fun!

notes: I've done heads, and full PC mods so I thought I'd try my hand and inanimate objects. This was incredibly fun, beside doing the texture. I hate textures, so I'm sorry I'm so horrible at them, but there you have it. Eventually, I'll be doing all the sabers from the original trilogy and in fact I've started on a conversion to make the KOTOR characters look like the original cast. Leia's head and Luke's Bespin suit (coolest damn costume in all of Star Wars) are both done as far as modeling goes. It's those damn textures again!
