    =================================
    DESCRIPTION:
The vanilla lightsaber blades in Kotor and TSL look bad in my opinion. So, I tried to improve them by adding a dynamic ambient light to the blade (environmental lightning), which works quite well. Since this is hard-coded in the model I also optimized the blade plane models to have a different UV layout inspired by Sithspecter's work. I also simplified their geometry and fixed the different brightness bug (different brightness of the blade when viewed from the front compared to the back).
Additionally, I included 3D models for the core of the blade and the inner glow of the blade, which can now be used to create black core sabers as seen in SWTOR.  The glow - as well as the models - are fully animated to work as the vanilla blades.
The hilts are updated together with the blades including hilts from Kaidon Jorn's SLM 2.0 mod.
     Summary:
        - All saber hilts are updated with hilts from Kaidon Jorn SLM 2.0 mod (I love it!) All credits for the hilt models, textures and icons go fully to him!
        - Ambient light for lightsabers
        - 3D models for blade core and inner glow
        - Symmetric lightsaber blade planes with a modified version of Sithspecter's crossguard saber UV layout. (Compatible with his unstable textures also included with all credits going to Sithspecter.)
        - Black core sabers are possible
        - Homogeneous brightness of the blade (no more “brighter blades when viewed from the front” happening any more)
        - All sabers are fully upgradeable (added black core and unstable crystals as well as crossguard versions of them)
How to use the new lightsabers:
Get the black core, unstable and crossguard sabers or crystals by cheating them by using the giveitem command or use KSE to include them in your inventory.
The item codes are organized as follows:
Lightsaber and crystal follow the standard naming scheme:
    Black core: 51-60
    Unstable: 21-30
    Crossguard: 101-110
    Crossguard, black core: 111-120
    Crossguard, unstable: 91-100
    For example:
giveitem u_l_colo_51   (Blue, Black core crystal)
giveitem u_l_colo_92   (Red, unstable crossguard crystal)
giveitem g_w_lghtsbr118    (Viridian, crossguard unstable lightsaber)
giveitem g_w_dblsbr025    (Purple, unstable double blade lightsaber)
giveitem g_w_shortsbr53    (Green, black core short lightsaber)
For the TSL colors such as Viridian, Silver, and Bronze; you can get the crystals with the following giveitem codes.
    giveitem u_l_colo_07   (Silver)
    giveitem u_l_colo_09   (Viridian)
    giveitem u_l_colo_10   (Bronze)
!!!! Important: If you put a crossguard crystal in either a short lightsaber or double blade lightsaber the crystal will be transformed into its normal non crossguard version!
I HOPE that in the future some talented texture artist will create better looking blade textures using these new blade models. I plan to upload a Modders Resource explaining the blade system in detail.
    CREDITS:
    Kaidon Jorn:
Lightsaber Hilts models and textures and icons are created by Kaidon Jorn and taken from his SLM 2.0 mod, which you can find here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/551-schematic-lightsaber-mod-slm/
Thank you very much for the permission to use your models and hilts here. They are amazing and I enjoyed working with them.
    Sithspecter:
The new layout for the lightsaber blades plane models are inspired by Sithspecter's animated Crossguard Lightsabers mod for KOTOR which can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1314-crossguard-lightsabers/
Thank you very much for the permission to include your animated unstable blade texture and to modified them to include the new TSL colors.
    ___________________________________________________________
    COMPATIBILITY:
It should pretty much be compatible with any mod that doesn't use the same crystal and lightsaber model slots. However, please notify me in the release thread if any bugs do appear that are not listed below.)
    ___________________________________________________________
    INSTALLATION:
Use the TSLPatcher multiple times. You can choose which lightsabers you want. So, for example say you are only interested in the normal saber update and the related crossguard sabers: Then install the standard saber first and second run the TSLpatcher again and install the crossguard sabers.
The crossguard sabers require to have their related non-crossguard sabers installed first.
The TSLPatcher is set up to only install a certain part of the mod and requires multiple runs to install all sabers.
    It should install everything correctly.

    UNINSTALL:
Navigate to the backup folder and place the contents into the Override folder. Remove all files from the tslpatchdata folder of this mod from your override folder.
    ___________________________________________________________
    BUGS:
The tip of the blade has a spike which comes from a deformation of the lightsaber planes. This is also present in the original model. I was not able to find a fix. (Sorry about that.)
The lightsaber hilts will clip through the blades. (Unfortunately, DarthParametric has said that it is not possible to fix this.)

  9. K1 Light Mobile UI

K1 Light Mobile UI (any language)
    Hello there.
Never liked Aspyr UI (KotOR/TSL/Jade Empire) on mobile. Too big for small display. With unnecessary elements. So i made some improvements.
    -Dialogue/Cutscenes
    -blue letterbox lines removed
    -subtle undershadow for subtitles
    -subtle dialogue choices undershadow
-new "dialogue choices select" texture (same undershadow but bigger)
-dialogue choices frame window and its elements completely removed
-annoying flashing cross-piece thingy in every dialogue was utterly and violently destroyed
    -HUD
-removed undershadow from portraits, items, minimap and settings/save elements
    -clean/subtle outline for minimap
-added 50% transparency to items/action/combat action buttons
-removed undershadow from items/action/combat action select button
-items/action/combat action select button was changed to a small circle
-changed outline for combat action pop-up element to match the rest HUD elements
-added 50% transparency to combat action pop-up element
    -Install
unpack and copy *.tga files to android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor/files/override
    -Uninstall
    delete previously copied files
Compatible with  pretty much every mod.

  13. Lucasarts SWTOR Logo

A replacer Lucasarts Logo Screen for KotOR in 1920x1080.
The SWTOR Logo is not a work of mine, it is the EXACT Lucasarts Logo used in SWTOR.
What I did was convert the video file into a BIK file using RAD Tools.

    SWTOR Lucasarts Logo Video

This mod is very much inspired by  VarsityPuppet's "New Legal Screens for Kotor and TSL 1.0" and by  embar's [K1] Custom 'Animated Revan' Legal Screen 1.1.1

Installation: Go the the "Lucasarts SWTOR Logo" Folder. Copy the leclogo.bik file from that folder and place it within your swkotor/movies folder.
Uninstallation: Delete the said file, or overwrite it with the file stored in the Backup folder inside the mod's folder.
Compatibility: Should be compatible with anything except other mods that potentially alter the leclogo.bik file.

  16. Todevuch's Sith Officer Fix K 1

    ******************************
    KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC
    ******************************
    Todevuch's Sith Officer Fix K 1 1.3
    ******************************
    Author: Todevuch (todevuch)
    ******************************
    Description:
This modification is a partial fix for certain Sith NPCs:
    1) Twilek at Tarisian base.
Now she is wearing the uniform of a sith officer! After all, we did not see in Manaan that the employee in charge of the security of the base wore different clothes than the uniform of the Sith. Therefore, the nature of such work also implies the wearing of uniforms in accordance with the military regulations and local instructions of the Sith base.
Earlier, apparently due to the fact that I was constantly playing the bright side, I lost sight of the fact that this twilek remains defenseless, apart from the reinforcements in the next room. So I included a short vibroblade in her inventory so she could defend herself! She will take out the weapon when she meets in a duel with the main character and (or) his party members, so as not to spoil the aesthetics associated with constant wearing.
    I didn’t fix a bug related to the attack of twilek on she colleagues, if, using third-party cheat commands, the player ignored the meeting with her and went first to the room where the Sith soldiers are. Indeed, in the normal game mode, the first conversation (cut-scene) that will take place at Revan at the base will be with her, thus the bug will not interfere with the gameplay in any way;
    2) Elite stormtroopers and a Sith grenadier in the Hangar, before flying to the Manaan Sith base (one of three alternative ways to get there).
    I was somewhat confused when I saw the names and heard the voices of these NPCs, which raised doubts about the advisability of looking like regular Sith officers. The in-game files confirmed this doubt: they clearly show that we have Sith soldiers in front of us, deserving the appropriate appearance!;
    3) A Sith Captain at the Manaan Base.
    In this case, the captain had the wrong voice for Sith soldiers, which has been fixed;
    4) As a dessert - the true vestments of Admiral Varco!
Based on the description of this character in the official sources on the history of the Star Wars universe, "Varko was a Human male who served as an admiral Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Malak during the final year Jedi Civil War. He assumed Saul Karath's position as Malak's second-in-command when Karath was slain Galactic Republic Carth Onasi and two Jedi, Bastila Shan and Revan, aboard the «Leviathan», flagship".
The fact that he was an admiral is undeniable, because in his dialogue with Darth Malak, there was a discussion of organization a Sith fleet, which is in the competence of an admiral, and not an officer! At least in our case.
This modification only covers the part of the Sith officers that have not been fixed in the framework of other modifications (or those that, unfortunately, I missed). For example, @JCarter426 in JC's Korriban - Back in Black for K1 has already fixed a number of shortcomings.
    Instruction:
Just launch TSLPatcher and point to the correct path to your game.
    Compatibility with other modifications:
The mod is compatible, in fact, with all modifications, including K1R and [KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod, except for those that contain the files involved in the modification.

  17. Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Flowing Robes For K1

This mod changes the models for the robes you receive on the Star Forge (Darth Revan’s robes for dark side or Star Forge robes for light side) to a modified version with the cape and belts seen on the cutscene version, but without the raised hood and mask.
Alternative models with different arrangements of cape/belts/folded hood are available in the mod’s OPTIONAL folder. Once you have finished installing the mod, you may copy and paste the MDL/MDXs from relevant folder to the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

This mod relies on Sithspecter’s Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt Fix mod for the animations. You can download that mod from here:
    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/709-revans-flowing-cape-and-belt-fix/
Extract n_darthrevan.mdl and n_darthrevan.mdx to your Override folder (you don’t need to install the rest of that mod’s files, but it is fine to do so). If you do not have this mod then you will not have any animations for the cloak or belts.
    How to Obtain:
The mod retains the vanilla route to obtaining the robes, namely accessing the fabrication computer on Deck 2 of the Star Forge. However, in order to allow people to get the robes early, I have added a new fabricator on Dantooine. It is located inside the Aratech Mercantile room next to the Ebon Hawk's landing pad at the Jedi Enclave:

In order to use this component of the mod, you must run the installer a second time and choose the option Dantooine fabricator from the drop-down list.
    Notes:
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that changes/replaces the scripts for the computer on the Star Forge that grants you the robes, k_psta_replicat4 and k_psta_replicat5.
The male version is a straight replacement for the PMBJ model, so it will not be compatible with any other mod that replaces/modifies that model, or changes the values for that column in appearance.2da. Because of the way animations work, the female version must be set up as a disguise, so it uses its own independent models and appearance.2da rows and is unaffected by changes to the PFBJ model or appearance.2da values. Note, however, that this means it is not compatible with custom female head models.
The Darth Revan robes use the vanilla PMBJ01 texture, and is compatible with texture replacements from other mods. The vanilla texture for the Star Forge robes, PMBJ02, has no provision for the cape or belts, so I have provided a very basic replacement with those sections coloured. I suggest that you replace this with a better quality texture from another mod. I recommend ZM_StarForgeA08 from ZimmMaster's Revan's Jedi Robes mod. Download that mod here:
    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/466-revans-jedi-robes/
Extract Zimm’s texture from his mod’s tslpatchdata folder, rename it to PMBJ02.tga, and then put it in your Override folder, overwriting when prompted. Make sure you do this after installing the current mod! Additionally, grab the TXI from the OPTIONAL folder and place that in the Override folder as well.
    Known Issues:
There will be some clipping during certain animations. Some of this is related to the animations, some of it the meshes. If you spot something particularly egregious, then let me know in the comments and I may be able to address it if it is model-related.
Currently there are no limitations on the Dantooine generator. You can fabricate either set of robes regardless of alignment, and you can make as many copies as you like. I may change this in future.
If you are using the K1 Community Patch, the K1 Restoration mod, or another mod that has added danm13.mod to your Modules folder, you will get a warning from TSLPatcher that this file already exists and was skipped. This is intended behaviour and not an error.
    Acknowledgements:
Thanks to Sithspecter for the n_darthrevan flowing robes animations, without which this mod would not be possible. Many thanks to Fair Strides and bead-v for looking over my scripts, checking for errors and streamlining syntax. Thanks to DarthTyren for his tutorial on camera placement (although I had to source the quaternion conversion elsewhere). Thanks to Salk for informing me of a missing ini config for one of the UTI files.

  18. Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2
    Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance
    DESCRIPTION:
This mod replaces the silly, non-intimidating Dark Jedi Ajunta Pall with a scarier, more canon-accurate version. His weak gentle voice has been tweaked too so he is a little more intimidating.
    INSTALLATION:
    - Use the TSLPatcher and select the install option
    UNINSTALLATION:
    - Run the TSLPatcher with the uninstall option
    - Delete these files from override:

  19. Council Robes Basic Reskin

    COUNCIL ROBES BASIC RESKIN
    Description:
This mod adds the council robes, a variant normally only worn by NPCs, and makes them available alongside the vanilla game robes in KotOR 1. The robes are added to 3 merchants in the game: the basic, lowest level variety is available at Crattis’ general store on Dantooine with 3 texture variants, although the variants for this robe all look pretty similar. They are also available with better stats as Knight robes at the Czerka Representative’s store on Korriban in Dreshdae, and as Master Robes at Mic’tunan’jus’ store on Tatooine in front of the Ebon Hawk. This mod should be compatible with other mods that modify these merchants, but this mod is not at all compatible with other mods that modify the base robe models OR add new textures. The idea behind this mod is to have the option to wear both council robes and base game robes at the same time, being compatible with base game items but not other similar mods. This mod will also not place the robes properly if you have been to Dantooine, Tatooine, or Korriban before installing the mod.
    Installation:
Start the Council Robes Basic Reskin Installer executable. It should prompt you for the location of your KotOR 1 directory and move all the necessary files itself. With the exception of the merchant files, the installer will fully replace any files of the same name as the ones in the ‘tslpatchdata’ folder, so won’t be compatible with other mods modifying those files or using the same names, since they are not standard game resources.
    Uninstallation:
To uninstall, remove all the files listed in the ‘tslpatchdata’ folder from the Override folder.
    Acknowledgements:
Of course, without use of Fred Tetra’s KotOR Tool, MDLOps by Chuck Chargin, KotOR Blender by Symmetric, Purifier, and Ndix UR, k-gff from tk102, and TSL Patcher by stoffe, this would not be possible. Thanks to all of you.
    NOTE:
This is really the first mod I have made, and I have only tested the new models and textures so much. If there are issues you come across that I did not foresee, or perhaps simply any quality-of-life things that may be added, let me know, either by sending a message on deadlystream.com or sending an email to flooggoog@gmail.com.

  20. Better Twi'lek Male Heads for K1EP (Modder's Resource)

This is a modder's resource containing Twi'lek textures from SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack that have been modified for compatibility with Better Twi'lek Male Heads.
Textures are included in both TGA/TXI and TPC formats (the latter is recommended). Models for both the slim neck and original neck variants are included in ASCII format, so you can edit the model name and/or texture then convert to binary for either game. If BTMH is updated in the future with changes to the model, so will this. (Current model version: 1.3.X)
    Usage
If you want to use these files as part of an external work, contact me first to receive my permission. Permission to use the K1 or TSL versions of BTMH automatically extends to this resource. Both SpaceAlex and I should be credited accordingly.
This modder's resource should only be found on Deadly Stream, no user may upload it to another modding site. This restriction does not apply to any external works using these files.
It should be noted that some of SpaceAlex's Twi'lek textures are upscaled variants from the base game. See readme.txt for more details.

  21. Pretty Good! Icons for KotOR

Pretty Good! Icons for KotOR 1.0 by ajdrenter
    Description:
This is a complete set of vanilla equipment icons for high resolution UI scaled configurations. Future updates will include mod specific icons. This mod is intended to be used with "KotOR High Resolution Menus" by ndix UR.
The goal of this mod is not to fix any consistency issues or design oversights of Bioware's icons, rather it is to replace them as seamlessly and accurately as possible.
    Installation:
Just drag and drop either the tpc OR tga files to your override. I recommend the tga version for maximum compatibility, as you may want to mix and match with other mods.
    Credits:
Darth Tomer, SpaceAlex, and ebmar for "Three-tiered Dark Jedi Robe". A couple skins from this mod were used to more closely match the vanilla icons.
Bioware and Lucasarts for all original assets.
Thanks to the whole community for such a wonderful wealth of content over the years.
    Usage:
You may use this mod for any non commercial use and without contacting me as long as you give me credit for my assets.

  22. Operation Kill Bastla Remade

Knights of the old Republic: Operation kill Bastila remade.

As the original site that hosted the mod went down so I decided to recreate the mod operation kill Bastila. This mod will turn the sith troopers patrolling on taris hostile unless Bastila has a disguise on. Bastila must be in the party for this to happen. It is recommended that you start a new game.

    INSTALLATION:
There are two options Roleplay and Gameplay:
    1. Select the option roleplay if you don’t mind the disguise giving a -1 to wisdom. The reason for this is in the item’s description.
    2. Select the option gameplay if you don’t want a -1 wisdom decrease.
    3. OPTIONAL- If you have the Kotor Restoration Patch installed place the file from the compatibility\K1R folder into the override. Replace as needed.
    4. OPTIONAL- If you have DarthParametric's Taris escape sequence adjustment, Run the Compatibility Patch option of the installer.

    UNINSTALLATION:
That may not be a good idea but if you insist:
    1. Delete the following files from override- appearance.2da, bast_des.mdl\mdx, bast_desh.mdl\mdx, bast_des.uti, feat.2da, heads.2da, kill_bast.ncs, kill_bastsg.ncs, p_bastila.utc, tar02_sithguard.utc, tar02_sithpat22.utc, tar02_sithpat023.utc, tar02_canttroope.utc, cowl.tpc, mask.tpc.
    2. Go to the mods folder and find the folder marked backup. Copy appearance.2da, feat.2da, heads.2da from the backup folder to the override folder. Copy dialog.tlk to your knights of the old republic root folder (the folder that has the game).

    INCOMPATIBILITIES UPDATED PART 2:
Any mod that modifies the following files will be incompatible:
    k_ptar_alertsith.ncs
    k_ptar_strgrd_en.ncs
Do not put the following files into the override folder after installation:
    P_Bastila.utc
    tar02_sithguard.utc
    tar02_sithpat22.utc
    tar02_sithpat023.utc
    tar02_canttroope.utc
    KNOWN ISSUES:
None that I know of. Be sure to report a bug if you find one.

    PERMISSIONS:
You may not upload this mod to any other websites. You may use this mod in your mod as long as you credit me and you upload it to either deadlystream, nexusmods, or both.

Do note that if you include it in your mod you are now responsible for maintaining your fork of the mod (in other words don’t come to me with user issues). The only exception of course is adding updated versions of this mod (if any) to your mod.

    FOR MODDERS:
Look in the folder marked source. I organized the folders for each thing modified. The idea behind this is compatibility.

  23. JC's Korriban: Back in Black for K1

    Summary
Almost everybody on Korriban wears the standard bland Sith officer uniform. This mod alters the look of almost everybody on the planet so they're dressed more appropriately. Czerka workers wear Czerka uniforms, Sith troopers wear Sith armor, Dark Jedi wear Dark Jedi robes.
While I was going through all the files I noticed some other oddities and corrected them – things like missing items or misplaced files. See the change log for a full list of changes.
    Installation
Note: It is recommended that you uninstall any previous versions of this mod before installing a new version.
Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Korriban_Back_in_Black_K1.exe. Select which version to install.
If you have the KOTOR Community Patch installed, choose the KOTOR Community Patch-Compatible Installation option. Otherwise, choose the Basic Installation option. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). There are additional options for Uthar, Yuthura, and Tariga that you may install after the rest of the mod is installed. Uninstallation
Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility
This mod may be compatible with but will overwrite other mods that alter the appearance or equipment of characters on Korriban. It's safest not to use it with any other mod that alters the same characters.
Some of the changes will take effect immediately, but for best results you should install this mod before visiting Korriban for the first time in your game.
